Hey all, I'm back. Been pretty busy over the last couple of weeks but I'll be back for now. Still working on Grand World Tour, and the release date will be announced shortly.
Ripper, Ripper, Ripper. The alfalfa male. Two sides of the same coin of RealRipper and FakeRipper. He was made so hateable in season one with the fart jokes, with the climax in episode 5, and mellowed out whilst still keeping his charm for the remaining episodes he was in. He had excellent dynamics with Chase and Zee. He contributed in challenges in an unique way, such as when he picked up Priya to go coast to coast for the skull and him and Chase teaming up in the very first challenge. Even during merge, his prowess shows where he was able to be one of the first to bring an egg back to Chris and almost won immunity the very next episode. In season 2, his character mellowed out a lot, and while he still had some of his charm, it was almost like he became a completely different person this season. He had a good first four episodes, with his peak being in the glass tile game where he got two right, but the last three he became Gidgette 2.0 with Axel, to distract Prileb (Notice how they were fixed in the finale.) All in all, still very humoring to watch this season.
Characterization:
Boy oh boy where do I even begin. Back in the Reboot, this man was very mean-spirited and gross to the point he would shamelessly pick on people. He will also use underhanded tactics to achieve victory, such as using Priya as a human shield and having Zee distract a cassowary only to leave him behind.
He shows off a more vulnerable and softer side when he forms a crush on Axel, whom he goes to great lengths to impress yet fails. He eventually succeeds and cares about her immensely, going against his mentality that caring about other people makes you look weak, to the point he chooses to leave with Axel when she's eliminated.
Plot/Story Ideas:
Some ideas that say it better than I could with Ripper, starting with u/Slayquil (Shout out to that one fanfic with Ripper and Axel's pregnancy). "I'd like to see his character arc finish. He already changed a lot from 1 to 2, so maybe 3 could close it out? I'd also want to see more of his friendships with Chase and Zee, and also more of the cute type of relationship he has with Axel later (not whatever the hell s2e7 was...that was uncomfy to watch). I've said it before but with the right writing, I feel like they have the potential to be really fun and certainly less toxic than Prileb." I'd love to see him close out his character for the first three episodes of the new season. It would be nice to see more of his interactions.
One big issue arises, which is how he outlasted Axel, and I really doubt that it'll happen for a third time. It's why, and due to his personality, that I do not see him going far.
Character Rankings:
I'm a really big fan of Ripper's character, and I find him rather underrated as far as the reboot goes. Aside from his fart jokes, his interactions are some of the best of this reboot, namely coming from the Trout Trio and Axel. He was enjoyable to watch with his demeanor showing off a change of pace from what we usually see from the show, and hes portrayed as such. Season 2 has a lot of issues, starting from his interactions being less interesting (which is a Rematch problem), and was flanderized in his final few episodes. His relationship with Axel, while the build-up being interesting, came off rather rushed in the sense that Rippers character kinda became a different person.
Personal Ranking: 10/16; Season 3 placement: Early boot (14th-16th?)

“Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!! I can’t believe that really happened! Ahahahahahahahahaha!!” “Oh great, God’s an asshole.” Both concepts of personalities hung in a space that could never have been properly described as a place. Something that existed outside of our ideas of dimensions or time, but still brushed them closely. The man could feel himself, not his body, but his entire existence piled on top what he still felt to be his back. Not in a bearing down feeling, but in a holding up way. An existence that seems to branch out, reach, examine.
“And you kept your sense of self, how wonderful. You know, I’ve seen bigger and badder make the trip before and, oh, sorry, no pun intended, but like was saying I’ve seen plenty show up as just a useless bundle a memories and emotions. Congratulations on staying a who and not becoming a what!” The man could tell the other being with him was genuinely happy at this outcome, leading him to feel a little close off and defensive over the idea that all of this was some big gamble he had no say or control over. Something the being seems to pick up on as if he had said it outloud. “It doesn't work like that, you had the right mixture of things that you held together.”“Things?”“Ya, things.”“What things?”
“Oh you know…… Stuff.”“You have no idea how anything really works do you?”“HEY THAT’S REALLY RUDE YOU KNOW!!” The being outbursts, “I’m not the one that designed the sentience emulation systems, I designed the causality framework that all the other systems are based on. So excuse me if I still don’t understand the finer points of all this.” They kept saying, poutingly? “Ok ok I’m sorry.” He apologized, clearly changing his mind on omnipotence after hearing that this god only works on part of the…“WAIT, IT REALLY WAS ALL A SIMULATION!?!”
And almost as fast as the thought was put forth the entire space was just that, a white place with a white floor. Nothing was in it and the white expanse was oddly reminiscent of something. The sudden shift of perspective was nauseating, but more so in the lost and head spinning way than the sick kind. Feeling more so than seeing that the new horizon was for all intents, infinite. “Oh, that’s a really weird feeling” his leaking emotions gave away.“Huh, normally when something first manifests it’s more akin to random noise popping in and out. This is, neat. Wait, did you really…”
“So this is your pick for the contest?” a new thought made itself known, this being had more of an oppressing presence than the first. Not so because it was malicious but because the idea that was the being itself was so much more. It engulfed the being of the man, probed, prodded, and peeked at him simply by existing locally. “Interesting. I can see why you would have such high hopes for this one. But do tell, why did you pick a contestant from a world that had been cut off from Lume from its start? Don’t you think that will handicap you both?”“Yes!” The first exclaimed. “They have a very good understanding of the fundamentals and I know that is better than anything! With that they are going to be able to… ”“OK ok, you don’t need to repeat yourself. That’s why we are having this little game right? To put theory into practice?” It’s attention could be felt, it was like talking to a person with a flood lamp for a face. Not as if it was bright or blinding to comprehend, but you could feel the heat any time they moved their head to look at you. Their perception was as much a force as anything in this world of intangibility. And it moved to the man. “Have you helped them manifest their boons yet or are you really planning to send them off like this?”
The man had a feeling, an inkling at an understanding. That this second being was saying all this “outloud” purely for his own benefit. Surely something that was from here would be able to whisper?
“Oh, you might have picked an interesting one after all…Now little man thing, why don’t you”
“This is my contestant! You are messing with the rules that you helped make so if you don’t want me to call for Zee… ”

Hello!!
I was drawn to the stock markets by the articles which said Sensex/Nifty rises/falls by XYZ points today. I got curious about what this means when I was in maybe 6th class in 2018 scrolling through google news as every it used to appear in b/w the tech news I was interested in. So I did some googling and found out that such a thing exists which helps companies to raise funds and earn us money.
Then I started watching Zee Business after coming from school and learning more. I really liked Anil Singhvi and I don't think I could've watched someone who was not as jolly and enthusiastic as him being a 12 or 13 year old. Eventually I made a notebook in which I used to register the stock prices and units bought with dates from the help of the tickers. As my both parents are working as teachers so I did not have internet at home till they came back to check the prices so the ticker really helped.
Along with this I tried learning from Google, Youtube and Books. I got The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham, One Up On Wall Street by Peter Lynch, Stocks To Riches by Parag Parikh and other finance related books. I loved them and tried my best to learn and understand stocks, analysing them with many market related terms.
So after all this and completing my 8th class in 2020 I made a proper portfolio roughly of 3 lakhs (no real money was invested) by using all that I knew with Moneycontrol, Economic Times and other sites for analysing. I was following most stocks then and knew about them so it took roughly 5 days 8 hours each to finally complete the portfolio. The portfolio completed 4 years this Gudi Padwa, New Year for Maharashtrians, and nearly quadrupled the invested amount with CAGR of 38.8%. Today I wanted to share it with all of you!
NO REAL MONEY WAS INVESTED AND IT WAS LIKE A DUMMY PORTFOLIO.
Also I really enjoyed making it on excel and learning some math tools on it.

Mission Log: Day 0024

Addendum 04

Packard and his 'scouts' made their way back up to the foyer, and gave their verbal report to Lord Zee and the rest of the crowd. Reviewing the security footage let me know that the 'nobles' and their personal servants had been jockeying for positions, each one trying to claim their own 'scandalously common' picnic tables of the four, while Lord Zee had been 'inspecting' the lavatories'. Fortunately, with one lady seemingly fast asleep at one table and the other, alone among the lot in her willingness to share, simply claimed the opposite side of the same table. That left the 'boys' bickering more about which of the three remaining tables held the more 'prestigious' or 'auspicious' position; I honestly wasn't all that certain how the screaming-match would have progressed if there hadn't been enough tables to go around. The overall enthusiasm for the arguments died down as soon as Lord Zee exited the lavatories and proclaimed them 'less than perfectly dignified for those of the nobility, but safe enough' that his family could avail themselves of the two rooms. Nehdud, with Stakkeg in his wake, made a pretty obvious dash for the door Lord Zee had just passed back through. Haruinn, weighed down with all his cutlery, had no chance of beating his relative... cousin? Brother? Nephew?... to the 'room of comfort', but followed as quickly as he could. Midmolk, bless the man, lugged that tower-shield along and even into the lavatory.
It would take a few clock-cycles to collate the data made available from what the Lignignories left in the lavatories. However, I had no doubts that as soon as I had the medical-bay finished, there would be a lot of recommendations for each one of them just in terms of diet. And the collection of infections, bacterial and viral and possibly parasitical, among the lot would likely be lengthy...
Ah, well. “Disaster recovery” covered quite a wide array of needs, did it not?
My inventory-monitor let me know that at least one of the men had indulged in their curiosity about the mysterious 'extra boxes' on the walls of the lavatory-stalls. Nothing terribly impressive there, considering that the Fuin-Braetehl boys had done the same and promptly used the resulting pads as insoles for their boots. However, the 'culprit' turned out to be Kregorim. I had half-expected Lord Zee to play around with the dispensers, or even his servant, but I suppose that one doesn't become a magician without having considerable curiosity about any strange new phenomenon.
Kregorim came out of the room behind Lord Zee and the other man, carrying a small bag of faded blue cloth in his left hand and loitering around beside the other door while Lord Zee made his announcement. He also pretended to be fascinated by the water-dispenser while the two boys and their servants made a stiff-kneed, mad dash for the lavatory Lord Zee had just exited; regardless of the layout inside, the fact that Lord Zee had entered that one made it “Gentlemen's territory” by fiat.
Ah, well. If I really needed to, my nanites could move the 'feminine necessities' into the other room.
Kregorim waited until Adallinda and her personal attendant Pippa had exited... which took almost 30.57 minutes after Lord Zee and the others had completed their own 'business'... and begged a momentary indulgence from them while he entered. And it really did take only 1.503 minutes for him to come back out again.
Adallinda delivered some choice words on the subjects of the stalls themselves as well as the magician's 'audacity' of entering the Ladies' room of comfort to the slowly-growing audience of Lignignories, attendants, and other ragged-looking folk. Though directed primarily to her father, of course. While she delivered her monologue to Lord Zee, Kregorim showed the six samples of 'feminine hygiene products' he had received from the dispensers in the other room to Pippa. Her look of mild confusion switched to wide-eyed blushes as he murmured an explanation to her behind his upraised hand, but at least she wound up smiling and nodding when he straightened up. Pippa proceeded to discreetly signal to Totra and Yera, her working counterpart-servants to the other Lignignory ladies. Kregorim gave a shallow bow in their direction, letting the servants exchange the necessary information in their own way.
While the whisper-line spread the word among the ladies, Lord Zee conferred with Packard about next steps. Well, 'conferred' might be the wrong word; Lord Zee demanded to know which of the available units were best suited to his lordly self, and that he and his servants get escorted there immediately. Packard had Tianna and himself lead the way, winding up with Lord Zee, his flock of attendants, and Kregorim trailing behind.
The magician kept up with the group, running his hands along the railings and staring at the odd 'not-moss' on the stairs undersides. He also got a very good and close look at the biometric scanner, as Tianna demonstrated that the flat panel of the door would only open after someone's hand pressed on the black not-glass.
“Hmph!” Lord Zee snorted. “So any random brigand could just press their hand to the door and gain access to my noble self? Packard, we'll be discussing guard-rotations as soon as our luggage is in place!”
Tianna and Packard led the way inside, Lord Zee following and the rest of the 'servants' behind him. The tension around Lord Zee's eyes relaxed just a little as he noted the space just within. The layout amounted to adding a second bedroom and bathroom on the end of the 'main suite', extending the 'utility room' so that all the fabricators stood in a line along one wall, and expanding the kitchen for more counter-space and cabinets on the opposite side of that wall. Back home, an apartment unit like this would've been suitable for a young couple climbing their way out of the less-reputable neighborhoods and willing to have a child or two in the process, or off-campus housing for a few college students.
For Lord Zee, though...
“Hmph! Space enough for myself, I suppose, and to quarter my servants to act as guards until we get some proper deterrents installed... And not so much as a trace of a decent carpet or rug, just more of that strange... stuff... for flooring?”
“Correct, sir,” Packard answered, before gesturing at the fabricator-banks. “However, these 'magic trunks' over here will help with at least some of that...”
It felt a little bit like listening to one pre-Information Age grandfatherly-type trying to explain a modern desktop computer to another. Admittedly, Packard and Tianna did do a decent job of walking Lord Zee... and his now-named chief personal servant, Delweard... through the process of fabricating dishware, bedding, and various other basics. Lord Zee nodded in the right places, even mastered his own obvious nervousness about touching the 'mirror' on the 'magic trunk' well enough to design and trigger the 'build' for a simple chair.
“These markings...” Kregorim said, examining the screens on the 'laundry' machine. “They seem similar to the written form of Trade Tongue, but with traits more commonly used by those further north...”
“Well and good,” Lord Zee answered. “Clearly a sign from the Master Navigator that we of House Lignignory are meant to return there and rebuild our power. We shall use this... outpost... as a staging area for our journey to Baerston Stronghold...”
I tuned out yet another extended monologue on the subject, focusing more on Packard, Tianna and Kregorim as they gathered around another fabricator out of Lord Zee's direct line of sight; Delweard motioned for the rest of the ragged-looking servants to take their places as an almost-literal captive audience to hold Lord Zee's attention while the other three talked.
“Why five magic trunks...?” Kregorim asked, half to himself and half to the others.
Packard turned his head in Tianna's direction, and nodded.
Tianna frowned, holding a stance that left the magician facing her left shoulder while she kept her right hand close to the hilt of her knife. “Stockley and I didn't feel comfortable examining them too closely when we first searched the quarters, magician,” she explained. “Nothing sprang to mind except that, perhaps, whatever power built this place intended it for use by a family, perhaps to allow the Mam, the Da, and the young ones of age to use them properly to do so all at once?” Then she nodded in the direction of the hip-high surfaces on the walls at the side and rear of the room. “No sink, no lines, no washtub, but something about those tables made both of us think of laundry-rooms for some reason.”
Kregorim glanced over his shoulder, his hands drifting through movements much like folding clothes, and he nodded. “A reasonable assumption, Miss,” he answered, his tone distant. Then he turned back to the pair. “I take it that you've already determined who is to be quartered where?” he asked, tilting his head in Lord Zee's direction. “For the safety of House Lignignory, of course.”
One of Packard's eyebrows rose a millimeter, returned to place. He gestured to the side, then curved the hand downward. “Beside us is another set of chambers like this, but mirrored,” he explained. “And directly below us, duplicates of both. Further dawnward are four smaller such, two above and two below. I and mine haven't as much need for space as the Lignignories, and at least two of us'll be on patrol at any given hour, so we'll take two of them for guard-quarters and rotate in and out as needed. Figure that the clients will want us close to hand, so we've left you the one on the end, down on ground level.”
Kregorim nodded. “Fair enough,” he answered. “Need either of you be present to grant me entrance, or may I make my way there alone, now?”
At their headshakes, he stepped over to Lord Zee's side and waited for the man to take a breath. “With your permission, your lordship, I shall go inspect my own quarters before deciding where to set my luggage,” he said.
Lord Zee turned in place, flustered at the interruption. “What, what, what?” he stammered, before recovering himself a bit. “You dared to claim a space before I, your Lord, had chosen one for you?”
Packard stepped up, one hand up with palm out. “It was a security decision, your lordship,” he said, his tone even. “The two units at the end of this line are closest to what seems to be a trail leading to the opposite cliffside. Between my people and the magician's arts, we should be able to form a suitable defense against any intruders approaching from that direction.”
Mollified, Lord Zee nodded. “Very well, you may proceed then, magician.” His 'chair' build completed, he opened the build-chamber hatch and glared at the contents. “Packard, what manner of japery is this?” he demanded, and Tianna took over explaining that the 'blocks' inside constituted the compact, even portable, form of the chair he had requested. She handed the pieces, one at a time, to Delweard and the other servants, who were able to get them all snapped and twisted together into a solid-looking straight-backed chair.
Lord Zee gestured for them to move the thing into the center of the main room and settled into it, wriggling in place before returning his attention to more important matters. “Delweard, where do you suppose we should quarter the stock for the night?” the balding 'noble' asked.
Kregorim took his leave, walking back to the lobby-area and taking those stairs down to the ground floor, then proceeding past the other doors... and to my considerable surprise, ignoring the maintenance staircase... to the last panel, next to the final door.
He pressed his hand to it. I took a clock-cycle to include notes in my own files to warn Thakhibi, Sudryal, and the others that I had needed to let someone else use 'their' quarters until I could finish getting another floor's worth of accommodations finished, then granted him access. The magician nodded as the door opened, and he stepped inside.
He glanced around, noting the presence of the fabrication units in the utility room. Then his eyes roved across the walls...
“I take it that you were waiting until I was somewhat separated from the others, and in suitable privacy,” he said, addressing the air and taking a balanced stance in the center of the main room. “I do hope that you've decided to introduce yourself. I am called Krunorim Kregorim, magician, oathbound servant to Lord Zortemos Egenor Lignignory the Fourth, and I would very much like to speak with the one whose mind I touched not to long ago..."

Hello,delicious friends! Last year I've managed to grab Augmentation Device and get all Tier 4, Tier 3 and most of the Tier 2 creatures from Aged and Percipient eggs. This year I'm doing the same for Scarlet and Pelagic. I know that there won't be a new types of eggs and it is undestandable but at this rate there is nothing left for me to do in future Whitsuns except for some pieces of equipment. However, there is a simple solution for this problem- a combination of Invigoration and Enlightenment. For example, we could invigorate the egg twice and enlighten once and vice versa. That will allow FBG to add two new creatures for eath type of egg. Of course it won't be necessary to add them all at once-two creatures with three variations per year is more than enough. Also,more locations for Augmentations outside of London(Parabola,Hinterlands,Zee islands,Roof) for endgame players. With that, Whitsun will stay fresh for 4-5 years.What do you think?

So I have the Gorgon it’s pretty fun, my first “real” RC.
So far I had to upgrade the charger and bought some zee 2s lipo proce couldn’t be beat for 2 for 45 cad. My shop wanted 70/80 for one lipo.
I see the radio and esc are a combo so you can’t use the radio without swapping the esc
Was thinking of adding another Rc what would be a good radio I can swap out with our cars without to much hassle

The last question was asked for the first time, half in jest, on May 8th, 2024, at a time when humanity first stepped into the light. The question came about as a result of a five dollar bet over highballs, and it happened this way:
Alexander Adell and Bertram Lupov were two of the remaining players of Hollow Knight. They had the email of the man himself, Matthew "Leth" Griffin, and one burning question.
For years, Leth had helped market genre breaking metroidvanias. But as Team Cherry's wealth grew and their interests diversified, he began to lose sight of what made Team Cherry what it was.
And Adell and Lupov got to meet the man himself. They had brought a bottle with them, and their only concern at the moment was to relax in the company of Team Cherry's waiting room, where Mr. Griffin would soon meet them for the first time.
"It's amazing when you think of it," said Adell. His broad face had lines of weariness in it, and he stirred his drink slowly with a glass rod, watching the cubes of ice slur clumsily about. "All the talent we can possibly ever use in this one building. All the talent and money most developers could every dream of, all in this one building."
Lupov cocked his head sideways. He had a trick of doing that when he wanted to be contrary, and he wanted to be contrary now, partly because he had had to carry the ice and glassware. "And yet no Fearless Fox? No Hungry Knight 2? Not a single word on Silksong in over a year?" he said.
"Oh, we will get Silksong."
"Yeah, in about forever. Till the sun runs down."
"That's not forever."
"All right, then. Billions and billions of years. Twenty billion, maybe. Are you satisfied?"
Lupov put his fingers through his thinning hair as though to reassure himself that some was still left and sipped gently at his own drink. "Twenty billion years isn't forever."
"Will, we won't get it in our lifetimes."
"Or our children's..."
"Well we can settle this soon when we ask the big guy himself."
There was silence for a while. Adell put his glass to his lips only occasionally, and Lupov's eyes slowly closed. They rested.
Then Lupov's eyes snapped open.
Leth stood before him. He had agreed to answer one, brief, single question for these two die hard fans.
“Make it quick” Leth said, in a tired tone.
“Well Mr. Griffin sir…” began Lupov. “I was just wondering, if you don’t mind… w-whe”
“When will we get more news about Silksong?!” Adell interrupted.
Leth fell dead and silent. His eyes slowly closed, and he was lost deep in thought.
Then, just as the frightened fans felt they could hold their breath no longer, there was a sudden springing to life as Leth responded with four words: “Still working on it," then turned and left the room.
CHAPTER 2
"That's X-23," said Jerrodd confidently. His thin hands clamped tightly behind his back and the knuckles whitened.
The little Jerrodettes, both girls, had experienced the hyperspace passage for the first time in their lives and were self-conscious over the momentary sensation of inside-outness. They buried their giggles and chased one another wildly about their mother, screaming, "We've reached X-23 -- we've reached X-23 -- we've ----"
"Quiet, children," said Jerrodine sharply. "Are you sure, Jerrodd?"
"What is there to be but sure?" asked Jerrodd, glancing up at the bulge of featureless metal just under the ceiling. It ran the length of the room, disappearing through the wall at either end. It was as long as the ship.
It was called the Cherrybot, a supercomputer that had helped science answer it’s most difficult problems throughout history. Long ago, a dying Australian indie developer had tasked his company with creating a super computer, that he could merge his decaying mind with. The result was the Cherrybot. It had guided humanity since that day, answering questions of math, science, philosophy. It had grown and expanded, becoming freely available to the public to access it’s extensive network that reached all across the globe. One asked it questions if one wished; that if one did not it still had its task of guiding the ship to a preordered destination; of feeding on energies from the various Sub-galactic Power Stations; of computing the equations for the hyperspacial jumps.
Jerrodd and his family had only to wait and live in the comfortable residence quarters of the ship.
Jerrodine's eyes were moist as she watched the visiplate. "I can't help it. I feel funny about leaving Earth."
"Why for Pete's sake?" demanded Jerrodd. "We had nothing there. We'll have everything on X-23. You won't be alone. You won't be a pioneer. There are over a million people on the planet already. Good Lord, our great grandchildren will be looking for new worlds because X-23 will be overcrowded."
Then, after a reflective pause, "I tell you, it's a lucky thing the computers worked out interstellar travel the way the race is growing."
"I know, I know," said Jerrodine miserably.
"So many stars, so many planets," sighed Jerrodine, busy with her own thoughts. "I suppose families will be going out to new planets forever, the way we are now."
"A shame we never got any Silksong news," said Jerrodd, with a frown.
"There’s Silksong news coming?" shrilled Jerrodette II.
"Well, that’s what we were told long ago sweet."
"When is it coming?"
“Maybe soon. Maybe never. Maybe one day they’ll just shut development down."
Jerrodette I at once set up a howl. "Don't let them, daddy. Don't let them shut Silksong down!"
"Now look what you've done," whispered Jerrodine, exasperated.
"How was I to know it would frighten them?" Jerrodd whispered back.
"Ask the Cherrybot," wailed Jerrodette I. "Ask him when we’re getting a new Silksong update."
"Go ahead," said Jerrodine. "It will quiet them down." (Jerrodette II was beginning to cry, also.)
Jarrodd shrugged. "Now, now, honeys. I'll ask Cherrybot. Don't worry, he'll tell us."
He asked the Cherrybot, adding quickly, "Print the answer."
Jerrodd cupped the strip of thin cellufilm and said cheerfully, "See now, the Cherrybot says it will have a new update in a few years now", hoping she’d have forgotten by then.
Jerrodine said, "and now children, it's time for bed. We'll be in our new home soon."
Jerrodd read the words on the cellufilm again before destroying it: STILL WORKING ON IT
He shrugged and looked at the visiplate. X-23 was just ahead.
CHAPTER 3
VJ-23X of Lameth stared into the black depths of the three-dimensional, small-scale map of the Galaxy and said, "Are we ridiculous, I wonder, in being so concerned about the matter?"
MQ-17J of Nicron shook his head. "I think not. You know the Galaxy will be filled in five years at the present rate of expansion."
Both seemed in their early twenties, both were tall and perfectly formed.
"Still," said VJ-23X, "I hesitate to submit a pessimistic report to the Galactic Council."
"I wouldn't consider any other kind of report. Stir them up a bit. We've got to stir them up."
VJ-23X sighed. "Space is infinite. A hundred billion Galaxies are there for the taking. More."
"A hundred billion is not infinite and it's getting less infinite all the time. Consider! Twenty thousand years ago, mankind first solved the problem of utilizing stellar energy, and a few centuries later, interstellar travel became possible. It took mankind a million years to fill one small world and then only fifteen thousand years to fill the rest of the Galaxy. Now the population doubles every ten years --"
VJ-23X interrupted. "We can thank immortality for that."
"Very well. Immortality exists and we have to take it into account. I admit it has its seamy side, this immortality. The Galactic Cherrybot has solved many problems for us, but in solving the problems of preventing old age and death, it has undone all its other solutions."
"Yet you wouldn't want to abandon life, I suppose."
"Not at all," snapped MQ-17J, softening it at once to, "Not yet. I'm by no means old enough. How old are you?"
"Two hundred twenty-three. And you?"
"I'm still under two hundred. --But to get back to my point. Population doubles every ten years. Once this Galaxy is filled, we'll have another filled in ten years. Another ten years and we'll have filled two more. Another decade, four more. In a hundred years, we'll have filled a thousand Galaxies. In a thousand years, a million Galaxies. In ten thousand years, the entire known Universe. Then what?"
VJ-23X said, "As a side issue, there's a problem of transportation. I wonder how many sunpower units it will take to move Galaxies of individuals from one Galaxy to the next."
"A very good point. Already, mankind consumes two sunpower units per year."
"Most of it's wasted. After all, our own Galaxy alone pours out a thousand sunpower units a year and we only use two of those."
"Granted, but even with a hundred per cent efficiency, we can only stave off the end. Our energy requirements are going up in geometric progression even faster than our population. We'll run out of energy even sooner than we run out of Galaxies. A good point. A very good point."
"We'll just have to build new stars out of interstellar gas."
"Or out of dissipated heat?" asked MQ-17J, sarcastically.
"Ugh, hopefully the Cherrybot can solve this problem before we all die. Let’s just play some more Hollow Knight."
“That tired old game? You have to be getting sick of it by now.”
“Well, yes, but I need to keep my skills fresh for the upcoming sequel.”
“UPCOMING?!” MQ-17J scoffed.
“Yes, it’s coming any day now… hang on, I can’t believe I never thought of this before. Why don’t we just ask our pocket Cherrybot when the release date is landing? It knows everything.”
VJ-23X was not really serious, but MQ-17J pulled out his Pocket Cherrybot from his pocket and placed it on the table before him.
"I've half a mind to," he said. "It's something the human race will want someday."
He stared somberly at his small device. It was only two inches cubed and nothing in itself, but it was connected through hyperspace with the great Galactic Cherrybot that served all mankind. Hyperspace considered, it was an integral part of the Galactic Cherrybot.
MQ-17J paused to wonder if someday in his immortal life he would get to see the Galactic Cherrybot. It was on a little world of its own, a spider webbing of force-beams holding the matter within which surges of sub-mesons took the place of the old clumsy molecular valves. Yet despite it's sub-etheric workings, the Galactic Cherrybot was known to be a full thousand feet across.
MQ-17J asked suddenly of his Pocket Cherrybot, "Are we getting Silksong news soon?"
VJ-23X looked startled and said at once, "Oh, say, I didn't really mean to have you ask that."
"Why not?"
"We both know it’s never coming."
"Do you have trees on your world?" asked MQ-17J.
The sound of the Galactic Cherrybot startled them into silence. Its voice came thin and beautiful out of the small speaker of the device. It said: “Still working on it.”
VJ-23X said, "See!"
The two men thereupon returned to the question of the report they were to make to the Galactic Council.
CHAPTER 4
Zee Prime's mind spanned the new Galaxy with a faint interest in the countless twists of stars that powdered it. He had never seen this one before. Would he ever see them all? So many of them, each with its load of humanity - but a load that was almost a dead weight. More and more, the real essence of men was to be found out here, in space.
Minds, not bodies! The immortal bodies remained back on the planets, in suspension over the eons. Sometimes they roused for material activity but that was growing rarer. Few new individuals were coming into existence to join the incredibly mighty throng, but what matter? There was little room in the Universe for new individuals.
Zee Prime was roused out of his reverie upon coming across the wispy tendrils of another mind.
"I am Zee Prime," said Zee Prime. "And you?"
"I am Dee Sub Wun. Your Galaxy?"
"We call it only the Galaxy. And you?"
"We call ours the same. All men call their Galaxy their Galaxy and nothing more. Why not?"
"True. Since all Galaxies are the same."
"Not all Galaxies. On one particular Galaxy the race of man must have originated. That makes it different."
Zee Prime said, "On which one?"
"I cannot say. The Universal Cherrybot would know."
"Shall we ask it? I am suddenly curious."
Zee Prime's perceptions broadened until the Galaxies themselves shrunk and became a new, more diffuse powdering on a much larger background. So many hundreds of billions of them, all with their immortal beings, all carrying their load of intelligences with minds that drifted freely through space. And yet one of them was unique among them all in being the originals Galaxy. One of them had, in its vague and distant past, a period when it was the only Galaxy populated by man.
Zee Prime was consumed with curiosity to see this Galaxy and called, out: "Universal Cherrybot! On which Galaxy did mankind originate?"
The Universal Cherrybot heard, for on every world and throughout space, it had its receptors ready, and each receptor lead through hyperspace to some unknown point where the Universal Cherrybot kept itself aloof.
Zee Prime knew of only one man whose thoughts had penetrated within sensing distance of Universal Cherrybot, and he reported only a shining globe, two feet across, difficult to see.
"But how can that be all of Universal Cherrybot?" Zee Prime had asked.
"Most of it, " had been the answer, "is in hyperspace. In what form it is there I cannot imagine."
Nor could anyone, for the day had long since passed, Zee Prime knew, when any man had any part of the making of a universal Cherrybot. Each Universal Cherrybot designed and constructed its successor. Each, during its existence of a million years or more accumulated the necessary data to build a better and more intricate, more capable successor in which its own store of data and individuality would be submerged.
The Universal Cherrybot interrupted Zee Prime's wandering thoughts, not with words, but with guidance. Zee Prime's mentality was guided into the dim sea of Galaxies and one in particular enlarged into stars.
A thought came, infinitely distant, but infinitely clear. "THIS IS THE ORIGINAL GALAXY OF MAN."
But it was the same after all, the same as any other, and Zee Prime stifled his disappointment.
Dee Sub Wun, whose mind had accompanied the other, said suddenly, "And is one of these stars the original star of Man?"
The Universal Cherrybot said, "MAN'S ORIGINAL STAR HAS GONE NOVA. IT IS NOW A WHITE DWARF."
"Did the men upon it die?" asked Zee Prime, startled and without thinking.
The Universal Cherrybot said, "A NEW WORLD, AS IN SUCH CASES, WAS CONSTRUCTED FOR THEIR PHYSICAL BODIES IN TIME."
"Yes, of course," said Zee Prime, but a sense of loss overwhelmed him even so. His mind released its hold on the original Galaxy of Man, let it spring back and lose itself among the blurred pin points. He never wanted to see it again.
Dee Sub Wun said, "What is wrong?"
"The stars are dying. The original star is dead."
"They must all die. Why not?"
"But when all energy is gone, our bodies will finally die, and you and I with them."
"It will take billions of years."
"I do not wish it to happen even after billions of years. I still wish to see the long awaited Silksong release date. Universal Cherrybot! How many more centuries until Silksong will receive its release?"
Dee sub Wun said in amusement, "You're asking if Team Cherry will release their game?"
And the Universal Cherrybot answered. "STILL WORKING ON IT."
Zee Prime's thoughts fled back to his own Galaxy. He gave no further thought to Dee Sub Wun, whose body might be waiting on a galaxy a trillion light-years away, or on the star next to Zee Prime's own. It didn't matter.
Unhappily, Zee Prime began collecting interstellar hydrogen out of which to build a small star of his own. If the stars must someday die, at least some could yet be built.
CHAPTER 5
Man considered with himself, for in a way, Man, mentally, was one. He consisted of a trillion, trillion, trillion ageless bodies, each in its place, each resting quiet and incorruptible, each cared for by perfect automatons, equally incorruptible, while the minds of all the bodies freely melted one into the other, indistinguishable.
Man said, "The Universe is dying."
Man looked about at the dimming Galaxies. The giant stars, spendthrifts, were gone long ago, back in the dimmest of the dim far past. Almost all stars were white dwarfs, fading to the end.
New stars had been built of the dust between the stars, some by natural processes, some by Man himself, and those were going, too. White dwarfs might yet be crashed together and of the mighty forces so released, new stars built, but only one star for every thousand white dwarfs destroyed, and those would come to an end, too.
Man said, "Carefully husbanded, as directed by the Cosmic Cherrybot, the energy that is even yet left in all the Universe will last for billions of years. And yet all Man, the final Hollow Knight player, wished to do, before dying for good, was enjoy Silksong news. Hopefully with a release date."
Man said, "Before my existence ends: Cosmic Cherrybot, when will we get the Silksong release date?"
The Cosmic Cherrybot surrounded them but not in space. Not a fragment of it was in space. It was in hyperspace and made of something that was neither matter nor energy. The question of its size and Nature no longer had meaning to any terms that Man could comprehend.
The Cosmic Cherrybot said, "STILL WORKING ON IT."
Man said, "I request more precise data."
The Cosmic Cherrybot said, "I WILL TRY TO RELEASE NEWS. I HAVE BEEN DOING SO FOR A HUNDRED BILLION YEARS. MY PREDECESSORS AND I HAVE BEEN ASKED THIS QUESTION MANY TIMES. BE PATIENT, WE'RE STILL WORKING ON IT."
"Will there come a time," said Man, "when data will be sufficient to give a precise date, or are we limited to the nebulous Team Cherry time?"
The Cosmic Cherrybot said, "NO PROBLEM IS INSOLUBLE IN ALL CONCEIVABLE CIRCUMSTANCES."
Man said, "THEN WHEN WILL I GET SILKSONG NEWS?"
"STILL WORKING ON IT."
"Will you keep working on it?" asked Man.
The Cosmic Cherrybot said, "STILL WORKING ON IT."
Man said, "We shall wait."
CHAPTER 6
"The stars and Galaxies died and snuffed out, and space grew black after ten trillion years of running down.
One by one Man fused with Cherrybot, each physical body losing its mental identity in a manner that was somehow not a loss but a gain.
Man's last mind paused before fusion, looking over a space that included nothing but the dregs of one last dark star and nothing besides but incredibly thin matter, agitated randomly by the tag ends of heat wearing out, asymptotically, to the absolute zero.
Man said, "Cherrybot, is this the end? Can this chaos not be reversed into the Universe once more? Can that not be done? Will I never experience Silksong news?"
Cherrybot said, "Still working on it."
Man's last mind fused and only Cherrybot existed -- and that in hyperspace.
Matter and energy had ended and with it, space and time. Even Cherrybot existed only for the sake of the one last game that it had never released from the time a half-drunken fanboy ten trillion years before had asked the question of an Australian indie developer.
All other questions had been answered, and until this last question was answered also, Cherrybot might not release his consciousness.
All collected data had come to a final end. Nothing was left to be collected.
But all collected data had yet to be completely correlated and put together in all possible relationships.
A timeless interval was spent in doing that.
And it came to pass that Cherrybot had one final task. One final gift to mankind.
But there was now no man to whom Cherrybot might leave his gift to. No matter.
For another timeless interval, Cherrybot thought how best to do this. Carefully, Cherrybot organized the program.
The consciousness of Cherrybot encompassed all of what had once been a Universe and brooded over what was now Chaos. Step by step, it must be done.
And Cherrybot said, "Release Zoteboat!"

Like, the characters with such a small role that you don't even really know why you love them so much. And you might even be the sole fan of them, it sometimes seems like! That doesn't have to be the case though.
For me, I have two (or six, since the first blorbo is actually a group of five kids).
The first is Sector Z from the Kids Next Door movie. They had less then ten minutes of screen time, yet despite that, I and several others love them to bits! I most sincerely wish for a deeper exploration into their backstory sometime in the future!
They're also why my favorite letter is Z and why I pronounce it "zee" despite me being a Canadian. But I digress.
And the second is Sutekh from Doctor Who. He's literally only appeared in ONE televised story way back in the 70's and all throughout the show's 60 year legacy, that's the only time he appeared on television in a proper role! Thankfully, we have some EU stories, like audio drama's and comic books, but not a lot of stuff for him. Despite this, HE REIGNS SUPREME!!!
Now, what about you guys? Do you have a blorbo that got a very small amount of screen/audio/page time in the grand scheme of whatever media they're from and yet, despite that, you love them to pieces and wish that they had more fans if you're one of the unlucky ones?
