I don’t know. I wanted to post here. I’m going to school for a job where nothing is guaranteed in the field I’m studying. Jobs are more so on a job to job basis and steady jobs are few and far between. My parents have been supportive of me up to this point but I don’t think they fully understand that job to job opportunities are how the field is. I understand this and am willing to take a risk, but I don’t think they are as confident. I’m going into my senior year. I’ve had zero internships or barely any jobs related to this (freelance stuff once or twice a year). I’m focusing on my own things, but no money is being made now. Part of this is on me for not giving 110% (writing letters to alumni, friending people on LinkedIn) and only applying via websites. I’ve asked professors for opportunities and all of their options rejected me.
As well, I quit my day job. I thought about accepting an unpaid gig, but it would have been a two hour commute one way. I told the day job I accepted the position. The window is still open for me to do it, but it would require me to move somewhere for the summer where the only free housing would be a two hour commute. As I’ve stated before, I’m working on my own things. I am in 90% control of the outcome of one and 60% of the other. Both could help me a lot if they turn out successful. I’m working on finding another wage slave job at the moment too, but all interviews have seemed unfruitful. Maybe it’s bad interviewing on my end? I seem confident when I interview, so maybe it’s because I’m a student? Even if I find a job, it would be less time spent on my personal projects.
Speaking of which, I try to do things for fun. I don’t really socialize too much with people. Most of the people I like have left the area for summer. The people where I grew up and I have grown in different ways (for the most part) and I don’t enjoy being with them too much anymore. It is a once in a blue moon thing. Where I live now, I have acquaintances but rarely hang out. Part of this lack of socialization stems from being a weird kid and also thinking everyone is judging me. I tend to zone out a lot so I maybe staring off at nothing and then realize I’m staring at someone. Trying to make conversation is weird because I don’t know what to talk about other than projects/work/school. I don’t like hearing about drama unless it affects what I’m doing. I don’t have anything going on in my life that’s worth more than a few sentences, so I have nothing to talk about. Even though, again, I’m not social, there still is a part of me that wishes I was doing these things with someone.
My free time is spent going on drives to nowhere (unfortunately my favorite leisure activity) which kills mileage on my car and eats up gas. The person I used to go on random adventures with is a year or two older and I think he’s reached the point where he can no longer do these things. I will be at that point soon because I will have student loans to pay off.
Even having a love life is hard because what I go to school for, personal and work lives are mixed. Acting on these feelings can lead to awkward work relationships and missed opportunities. You have to think about the long game.

Calibrate your machine right after an update as your calibration settings will not carry over into the latest update. Follow the advice of the calibration guide. Then do a test print then cut of your project using plain printer paper.
If for some reason after calibration your cuts are still inaccurate, clear cache (the troubleshooting guide above this) and try calibration again.

If you are experiencing issues despite clearing cache, please give some background information:

• Cricut machine (Joy, Joy Xtra, Explore Air 2, Explore air 3, Maker, Maker 3, etc.).
• Device (Windows 10, Window 11, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android).
• Type of project you were attempting to do. (Basic cut, print then cut, drawing, foiling, scoring, etc.)
• Were you successful in doing this project in the past? Or is this a new project?

• When using the delete button on the laptop to erase text, it becomes evident that the undo and redo functions are not operating correctly.
  
• After changing a color or moving an image, the undo feature fails to function.

Hi, I (25M) am in my first serious relationship since the past 5 months. My gf (24F) and I love each other a lot and fortunately have great communication and trust.

Background

I have been going through RJ for most of the relationship since my gf has had significantly more past sexual partners, mostly due to a casual dating phase after 2 serious relationships before we met. My only sexual experience before was one very short term fling over a year before I met my gf. I have been very accepting of my gf's past and attribute our past experiences as almost necessary for leading us to each other and bear no negativity towards her or her past, especially since she has come a long way since then. My gf describes her past sexual experiences as not enjoyable and most of her previous sexual partners as toxic/narcissistic who made her feel quite uncomfortable at many times. Now, I'm a very visual thinker and it's hard for me to control my overthinking when my RJ gets triggered. Most of my RJ is centered at seeing her in pain when I inevitably visualize her with her ex partners, which makes me feel really helpless.

One of her best friends is a dude she knows since middle school and they've been part of each others' inner circles since then. She even admitted that he was her first crush. They used to live in the same city 2 years back (still pandemic) and were so bored one day they ended up doing it. They both regretted it and she wishes it never happened but didn't let it affect their friendship. She later switched cities for work and eventually moved to my city. She ended up telling me about this 2 months into our relationship and wanted to know if I was ok with it given they are still close friends and we would eventually meet. I took a few days and told her that it's fine; it's from before I entered her life and they seem completely platonic given how she talks about him. Now, she knows that he is at times a subject of my RJ and I had also told her that I would stop asking for details about her ex partners earlier. However, recently, having a discussion about my RJ in general, it came up that she and her best friend used to be FWBs for a few weeks instead of just accidentally sleeping once, which was an assumption I had falsely made without asking for more details. She definitely didn't try to hide this fact and has been very open to giving me all the details I ask about. Despite that, finding this out made me feel a lot weirder about it but overall nothing needed to be done so I thought it would get better with time. However, he recently moved to our city for a few months before he moves out of the country. He's the only close friend of hers I hadn't met yet and she was very excited to introduce us; she even mentioned at one point that she really really wanted us to get along and become pals since we support the same football team. All 3 of us met up on an evening a few days back. It went quite well - I was very polite and relaxed. I gave them plenty of space to do their own catching up as well since they hadn't met properly in a long time. He later told her about how great he thought I was. However, the truth is I felt uncomfortable throughout the evening and just didn't let it show. I couldn't stop thinking about their past together and the RJ started to get to its worst ever. I will reiterate that I fully trust my gf and their entire interaction seemed very friendly and platonic but the RJ doesn't care about it. Even her banter with her playfully mentioning how he should send her foreign currency to sponsor her trip to meet him infuriated me but I kept it in. I obviously need her to know how I felt about this interaction but I kept it in a little longer coz she was gonna meet him for the last time before his flight and I didn't want her to have a weird interaction with her oldest friend just because my brain is making me feel weird about her past before she met me.

Advice needed

I'm in a weird place now and she knows I've been acting off the last couple days but I'm not sure how to address this with her. I obviously don't think I should ask her to cut off her friendship since there's nothing there I worry about. I know she deeply loves me and don't for a moment think there's anything between the two of them. At the same time, I am really bothered by it coz now every time she mentions him my RJ goes crazy. She has previously told me that maybe it's better for her to share details about her past for the sake of my RJ since I have a tendency to exaggerate a situation that I am visualizing without knowing the full details and that might be making my RJ worse. So I wonder if it will be better if I ask her to spare no detail on their FWB situation, however short and meaningless it was according to her but I am running the risk of ruining my RJ even further by attempting to fuel my curiosity. Most importantly, she is not in contact with any of those people. With this dude, however, it's different. He's still a close friend of hers after being FWBs. I don't feel threatened by him and he actually respects our relationship. She loves sharing everything with me so I know she will always want to talk about him whenever it would come up and I will feel bad asking her to cut that out too.
The core of my problem is that he's the only one of her ex partners who is still a part of her life and that's something that I could never justify in my moral code. I'm a strict exes can't be friends kinda person - I can't be involved physically without having an emotional foundation and my code allows for no contact with anyone I've been intimate with and not seeing anymore. That's kind of a moral difference with my gf coz when she moves on, she can never see that person with those romantic eyes anymore or think about their shared intimate past, which is hard for me to understand but I believe her. It still makes me weird to know that she was intimate like that with someone I will often hear about and occasionally have to meet. I have nothing against him except that he just triggers something in my brain that makes me feel shitty and that there's no one to blame for it. I feel I'm at a weird stalemate where there's no solution where my gf doesn't end up compromising. Even if I ask her to stop mentioning him, that'll still make me feel weird coz I know that's treating a symptom not a cause.

Throwaway account because I’m pretty sure my exes friend stalks my socials
TLDR; My ex dumped me, we went no contact and I haven’t contacted them for months until I sent one letter expressing my feelings that was absolutely not threatening and not ill-willed whatsoever and had no expectations from it, and they decided to file a DV restraining order despite there being no DV at any point — not even stalking, because seeing them sends me into panic attacks. Now I’m confused and don’t know what to do or what to expect.
So basically, my ex (we’ll call them B) dumped me back in January and kicked me out. My ex from before them (we’ll call them P) reached out to them after the breakup. Now, a little context: P and I were together for four years. It was a terrible relationship and should have ended far earlier than it did. We were both very manipulative, toxic, and abusive. While the abuse was almost completely emotional, there were a couple instances that it wasn’t. I, at one point, grabbed their wrist to make them stop yelling at me and to actually look at me because they were berating me during an argument. Doesn’t excuse my action, of course. They hit me multiple times throughout our relationship, and would apologize later over message, claiming that they hit me because whatever I’d been saying or whatever we’d been arguing about reminded them of some trauma from their childhood. There was also a substantial age difference that I am in no way justifying. P was 17, I was 23, when we started dating. I was in a very bad point of life and spent my days drunk and on a med that made me zombie like, so these days are not easy to recall in the first place. I genuinely do not believe there was ever a point where one of us asked the other out, I think P just assumed and I felt too bad to break it off. I do not forgive myself for this either way. During our relationship, P began to coerce me into sex because I refused to have sex with them for a multitude of reasons. They coerced me into a threesome, and when I told them day of that I was not comfortable with it and did not want to, P told me to drink more alcohol or smoke more weed and I’d “be fine”. I was r*ped that night. After we broke up, we remained roommates (in separate rooms) because neither of us had money to move out and we had a third roommate. We stayed friends because we’re idiots. I started dating B and P hated B profusely. At one point early into B’s and my relationship, P and I went out to the stores and I bought some clothes and left the bag in the living room couch and told P I needed to recharge before I hung out more. They did not take this lightly because they didn’t ever like when people didn’t want to do the same thing as them. They texted me alluding to destroying my clothes, and lo and behold, my clothes were no longer in the living room. After begging them to give me my clothes back, they finally opened their door and pushed the clothes into me hard enough that I hit the wall. So I hit their shoulder. I did not punch them or slap them or anything like that. I hit them in the shoulder with the same pressure that they pushed me. They had in fact shredded my clothes. My biggest mistake was never taking pictures when they did things like this. I eventually moved in with B and P moved out of state. B and I did have financial issues, mostly due to my own financial immaturity as I have never been good with money, but B never really communicated the issues with me so I didn’t even realize most of the time. I would pay large chunks of bills when I could, such as a full month’s rent, their $3000 credit card bill, our $1000 PGE bill, etc. P and I seemed to have a good friendship, but when B broke up with me and P found out, they reached out to B and essentially decided to tell them all kinds of things that were wrong about our relationship, but specifically only from their side. Screenshots lacked what they were saying, stories lacked what they were doing. So I absolutely sounded like a monster. B kicked me out even sooner than planned, and left me homeless for a week and a half while I searched for a place to live. After a month, B went completely no contact and blocked me almost everywhere. I should note that I have BPD, it is a recent diagnosis. They also do, but have been aware and in treatment for many years. I responded negatively to this and began calling and leaving voicemails on their blocked VM inbox. I was not calling from a private number, I called from my own because I knew they wouldn’t be dealing with a bunch of missed calls. I went overboard and left a lot of depressing voicemails. Never, ever threatening. Just sad, often crying, and asking why they hate me or why they would listen to someone who they experienced first hand would harass me for hours on end for not responding to their texts. I realized I was being psycho and stopped, apologized and told them I had realized I had made them my favorite person (in the BPD way), and that wasn’t fair to them. I have not contacted them since then, except for about three weeks ago when I sent a letter. The letter was simply telling them that I am sorry, I love them and miss them, and I am working really hard on myself. I told them that I truly do believe we’ll come back together someday, but that we both obviously have to live our own stories before that’s possible. There was not a single ounce of threat or ill-will in this letter. Literally not even the smallest bit, and I’m happy to share that letter with anyone to prove such. I also very clearly stated that I do not expect a response from them, but if they would like an apology someday, I’m here and ready.
Now that you have quite the context to the background of this situation, here’s the issue at hand: After I sent this letter, they decided to file for a restraining order. But not just any. They filed for a DV one, which everyone finds wild because there was never a single bit of DV between the two of us. B and I were honestly wonderful together, loved each other so much (or so I thought), and never laid a hand on one another. Even our arguments weren’t bad. I’d have splits from being triggered and I could say mean things, but it was never physical and always discussed afterwards, either that day or the next. Their friend has been watching all of my social media stories despite neither of us following each other, which has felt weird until I realized why.
I haven’t been served yet because they come to my place when I’m at school so I can’t be there. I’ll likely just go into the station to be served at this point.
But my questions are the following: - What does RO court even look like? I’ve never had to deal with this. Is it a big thing? Or is it two people at a table across from a judge? Like I genuinely don’t understand what it would look like. - How likely is it that this would even be approved? I truly don’t believe the letter could be used as evidence into something like this because it was not negative or threatening. The voicemails were crazy but never threatening and ended quickly months ago. They could absolutely use the stuff from P, but that relationship has been over for 2.5 years, and the clothes incident happened just about 2 years ago. I have proof of what the letter said, I have proof of P admitting to hitting me and to the coercion and r*pe. I have been in therapy for two years and with the same psych for about the same amount of time, so I have character witnesses. I am not a stalker, I’m actually genuinely terrified of seeing them around town because I know it will break my heart all over again. I’ve had to see them drive by twice, once in their work vehicle and the next in the car I used to drive that is in their name, and both times I ended up in a full blown panic attack. So I am obviously not seeking them out or anything of the sort. They also know what this would do to me. They know that it will not only destroy me mentally, but that it could hurt me career wise due to the field I am going to school for. So how likely is it for this to be granted?
I am honestly shocked and hurt by all of this from them, because this is not the person I fell in love with. They have gone completely cold-hearted and have had no issue hurting me over and over again since the breakup.

Hello, I’m getting ready to apply to PTA school. However, I’m very worried that I won’t get accepted. I have a bachelors degree exercise science, but my GPA is 2.7. I have rehab experience at multiple locations full-time and part-time work. I am a personal trainer and nutrition coach, I have access to resources that are able to write me letters recommendation but I feel like my GPA is going make me not get accepted unfortunately. I applied to a community college and that academic advisor said that the program isn’t that competitive which is weird because normally academic advisors say that programs are competitive. I have to take two pre-courses in fall semester before I can petition for the program. But for some reason with my pessimistic mind, I feel like they just want me to pay for these two classes and then when I petition, I won’t get accepted, which would suck. I’m 30 years old and I’m stuck between going to be a PTA because I had so much experiences and rehab aid. But also I feel like maybe I should just work I’m 30 years old and still live at home with my mother. At the same time, I used to work 70 hours a week between two jobs and I still only made about 45,000 So I don’t know what I should do at this point. I’m just very pessimistic I guess. Any advice? And like someone flipped a switch started running rough. Only codes are multiple cylinder misfire and what I believe is just a common abs code p1571. I’ve never done plugs and I’m probably due from age and miles. But honestly not sold that will fix my misfire. Ran perfect then sitting in gear at a stop light is flipped a switch and ran terrible. Any advice is appreciated!

Well as the title says my pc just freezes and stays there after 2hrs of usage on the dot
when idling when at full usage doesnt matter the limit is 2 hrs
what i have found out is that if i shut down the pc and turn it back on the timer restarts so i have another 2hrs to play but if i just restart it from windows the timer does not reset it just resumes from when it was last on
i have replaced every single part except the psu

whenever the pc freezes the cpu screen freezes and has weird artifacts but the gpu monitor just freezes and there is no bsod
i have tried to check error codes installed all the drivers twice even the bios i flashed
nothing
i have checked thermals and nothing gets above 40 C
i have even tried with 4 different graphics cards and 4 different cpus a different hard drive and different ram
im at my limits im going to replace my mobo one more time but please help me out on this

Ok I am officially graduating in a week and I thought it would be interesting to talk about my experience at Pace. My situation is a bit unique though as my underclassmen years (Freshman/Sophomore) were primarily remote because of COVID. As result I do feel I missed out on stuff, but I think I made up for it in the years following.
I am a film major with a digital media minor. I found the film major was extremely quick, but I could not afford most of the production classes (16mm, intro to film making, ect) so that locked me off a lot of the more advanced classes. That being said, I loved Editing I & II and even TA’d for Editing I for most of my time. I was not a member of any clubs because of COVID (didn’t feel like getting on zoom calls) but pace has a great club scene!! Ok on to my take aways

• Pace is just as good as the effort you put into it. Get involved on campus, it’s super easy. Join clubs, the newspaper, the radio show, student galleries, or even see what your professors are working on. Every semester research grants are offered to anyone! Like I said I TA’d and did work on the film festival. I had a lot of fun and it was rewarding! So many people I see just kinda go to class and thats it. That won’t get you an internship and that won’t get you a job.
  
• If you can stick through the beginng of your core requirements, you can literally do whatever you want. I know taking english is annoying. I know the coding class is annoying. But after that? There is like barely any limits. I took a sports class, criminology, anthropology, TV data class…it’s literally whatever you want.
  
• USE THE CAREER CENTER. specifically, USE SAL!!! The career center actually does care about you, they will make your cover letter and your resume. It’s important to have one which gives you access to the most important thing ever: HANDSHAKE. I got two internships and I’m interviewing for a startup that I found on there.
  
• form positive relationships with your professors. Don’t skip class, do the homework, and participate in class. Often when you do this they’re more lenient with you, will round your final grade, and can offer letters of recommendation or anything else.
  
• you need a job if you’re going to live in the NYC campus…unless you’re just rich. I find that the workload at pace makes this manageable. I worked at a retail store in WTC, got me through the semesters fine.
  
• honestly? The food isn’t bad. Not great!! But not bad. Its what it says on the tin, don’t expect anything fancy.
  
• the gym is gross. Sorry
  

Genuinely i had a fantastic time at Pace and don’t regret my decision.

For me, it was the fact but I have tried to go back so many times in the past 14 years only to be hit with a never changing wall each time. I first moved out when I was 18 and am now currently 32 years old. I've been on and off with my family since, primarily bc of my nmom. I officialized my no contact with an assertive and simple handwritten letter and mailed it to her and my family.
The part that eats away at me is knowing that a narcissist is a pained and sad individual. My mother has pushed everyone away over the years and is in poor health, she is 64 and cannot walk anymore. She has my sister, my sister's children, and my father with her though (even though I feel like they are all heavily manipulated and guilt tripped to do her will). My life is so much easier without them and their dynamic tainting my mental health, and being away has given me a noticeable boost in my healing. It's just hard to turn away from your own family still, especially when you feel like their life is representative of a hell scape and you feel like you can help somehow.
Writing all this down makes it feel obvious that "no contact" is the right choice, but there's some weird blockage stopping me from completely feeling free. Does anyone else have a similar situation that they are going through?

Kahapon may nagapply sa isang job opening namin na Product Sourcing Specialist. He’s Chinese and based sa resume nya he graduated sa Chinese univs and sa cover letter nya he said he’s from China. Ang weird kasi as far as I recall, sa Discord server lang namin at OLJ ako nagpost ng job description. Afaik OLJ is for Filipinos lang diba kasi they would require you to verify your identity using IDs that are issued in the Philippines. And chineck ko rin, they only allow Filipino citizens to use the site and register as a worker.
He confirmed that he saw the job posting sa OLJ but when I tried searching for his name and his email, walang match. Idk if napaparanoid lang ako pero alarming ba to? Lalo na sa recent issues ngayon.
