Rental payment acknowledgement letter of receipt

Over the last few months I've been in a very dire situation. My underage daughter was extorted/tricked out of some explicit pictures and an individual is selling these pictures online. I have his name, address, phone and ID number and yet local authorities aren't helping.
For context: This individual is an EU/RUS dual national residing in Dubai. He's getting paid for selling various such media and receiving payments via a US LLC he has set up in Delaware. It's obvious that hundreds of thousands of dollars pass through this shell company monthly. And before I get asked this: I've already sued this individual in his country of residence. However, the process to find justice can take many many years there, if ever. And ofc as always Dubai police is useless.
If I want faster results I'd need to target his companies. I have had multiple calls with Delaware police and even had a call with a police chief. They explicitly told me that if I want anything done I should try to get the attention of someone from the locale senate because the local police currently doesn't have neither the means in manpowefunding nor politically to act against the lax LLC scheme in Delaware in any way.
I went on to file a letter to the attorney general of Delaware, including a plethora of digital evidence presented to them in USB. They received the letter but never responded. When I called they told me off the record that they are not interested in such cases and I should instead be contacting the FBI.
Well, understandably after filing the FBI form and waiting several months, nothing has happened. It's more likely than not that the FBI has bigger fish to catch and won't even be interested in looking at a case whose only connection in the U.S. is an LLC.
I don't know what other means there would be to pursue this. This whole experience has been quite haunting for my daughter and me, especially after her peers discovered these media online, the abuse came to real life. I honestly thought US authorities would be more interested in taking down literal child porn, but no... What would be the proper way to escalate this? Perhaps I should hire a paralegal to write letters to google/cloudflare/facebook/tiktok/telegram and domain hosts etc where this abuse is promoted?

Hello everyone. I read some posts in the thread but wanted to ask in case my situation is unique. I completed the SF85P last week and was honest about a charged off CC that was already in the middle of working out a payment plan. Well I worked out a payment plan to pay off the 15k with an open option to settle for less than at anytime in the payment plan.
I got an LOI today asking this
‘Please provide documentation of the steps you are taking to satisfy the credit card debt, as well as any/all documentation that a settlement or negotiations are in process for this debt with Navy Federal Credit Union. Also provide any evidence/documents of payments (if any) made. Personnel Security will also need the facts and circumstances that led to the negotiation/settlement of this debt.’
Please tell me if I’m misunderstanding something but from what I understand it’s asking me to submit my payment plan documentation, a copy of my payments made and/or receipts.
This part sort of confuses me a bit.

Are they asking what made it go unpaid in the first place or how/why I went about working out a payment plan?

This may be a lengthy post so apologies in advance, just want to provide all the information.
My husband and I currently have 200,000 sitting in our chequing account from the sale of our home. We both have maxed out TFSAs (88k & 95k) invested with CIBC imperial investor service, $8,900 RESP for our toddler also cibc invested, and RRSPs 66k and 45k each also CIBC.
We own a rental bungalow free and clear and currently live rent free in my parents home while they are traveling. The plan will be for my parents to move to our bungalow in a couple years and they will sign their home over to us when the mortgage comes up for renewal at the end of 2025 (200k owing at 1.5%)
We will also be receiving an additional 150,000 from my husband's parents as a very generous belated wedding gift.
I feel like this is a stupid amount of money that we have been very fortunate to come into in such a short time and neither of us really knows what to do now that our tfsas are maxed out.
We don't have an "emergency fund" but I have an ~8k account for our rental property where all rent comes in and expenses come out and I haven't really touched it. We also have 12k in our joint account where our mortgage payments used to come out of. My husband's annual income is ~160k and I am currently making ~45k from my home business as a SAHM but may go back to work in the next few years.

I have around 7k in debt on one capital one card. My score went from 790 to 490 because of two missed payments while my partner was in the hospital. How I got the debt might not be important, but it wasn’t from spending. We were forced to move out of our rental (not evicted- they sold it for cash without letting us know) with no reimbursement of our security deposit and I put the full down payment for our new place on my CC hoping I could get the money our landlords owed us back through the court system. Good news is we will be getting it back- bad news is it’s been 2 years of me paying my minimum and the interest kills me. Debt went from 3k to 7k so quickly. How can I get my score up and eliminate this debt? I haven’t spent a dollar on this card since 2021. My income only allows me to spend around 400 towards the debt every month. Interest is usually around 200. Would a balance transfer card be a good option or should I just wait till the lawsuit settles and pay off the 7k in full at once? Or would paying it off in increments be better for improving my credit? Any advice welcome. Just trying to get out of this. Thank you!

I need some advice regarding an issue with my apartment lease renewal in Maryland. I currently have a month-to-month lease at an apartment complex that I've rented at since 2021, and the lease terms are updated each year before my renewal date on June 1st.

In February, I received a pre-lease agreement stating the rent increase effective June 1st, along with information about an optional service called RentPlus. RentPlus reports rent payments to credit bureaus for a monthly fee. Since I have an 835 credit score and will be applying for a home loan soon, I opted out of this service by checking the "not interested" box.

In March, I received the new lease for electronic signing, which included an additional page for the RentPlus Addendum. The addendum clearly states that "enrollment in RentPlus is entirely optional and is not a condition of this Rental Agreement." as well as "By signing below, or electronically accepting through your landlord, Resident is enrolling in RentPlus and agrees to the terms and conditions set forth in this addendum and the RentPlus Terms of Use that can be found at..." However, the leasing office is insisting that I must sign the addendum to complete the lease renewal online. They have suggested I sign it and then immediately cancel the service, but I believe this contradicts the stated terms and I am concerned about any potential impact on my credit score.
The leasing office neglected to include the fee for my garage rental on my autopayment earlier this year, which resulted in them adding it halfway through the month and my rent payment being considered "late". While the service states that it only reports on-time payments, and will increase my score, I am concerned about any activity on my credit report. I've also read some posts claiming this service lowered peoples scores by opening a new account.

I have repeatedly requested a lease agreement without the RentPlus Addendum, but the office refuses to provide one. They are effectively making enrollment in RentPlus a condition of the lease, contrary to what the addendum states.

With less than three weeks before my current lease expires, I'm unsure of my next steps. I am exploring the possibility of renting a house starting June 1^st, but will need to continue renting here during the month of June to allow time to move. I will also be out of state 29 May through 7 June.

My questions are:

Is it legal for the leasing office to effectively force me into the RentPlus service despite the addendum stating it's optional?
What further steps can I take to resolve this issue without signing up for the service?
Is it a battle worth fighting, or will the leasing office decide to make things difficult for me for the remaining of my stay here, and when it comes to returning my deposit?

This rent control proposal in Larkspur is ridiculous. Lower of 60% of CPI or 3% guarantees that every tenant will be under market rate after just one year of renting. I own four rental properties in Marin/Sonoma and am glad none are in Larkspur. I try to do right by my tenants, keep the property in great condition, and work with them to make it their home. However, it is a business investment for me and I've bought the properties with hard earned money. Even with California's rent control limits, it is taking me 3 years to get one tenant in Novato back to market rate because they were renting at $700 lower than market rate when I bought the property. I get it that it's hard to make ends meet in Marin, but it is short sighted to just target landlords. All these homeowners voting for these types of rent control want to help renters, but they don't realize they're depressing their own property values. We need sensible rent control (like California already has statewide), reasonable minimum wage so that residents can earn a living wage, and to acknowledge that if you want to live in one of the most expensive counties in the country, you need to earn accordingly.

I’d like to preface this post by acknowledging the generous financial support I’ve received from my family, without which I wouldn’t be in the fortunate position I’m in today. I’m nearing CAD 200k net worth despite receiving relatively low stipends and wages. Only about 25% of my NW is invested in equity. The remaining 75% is in GICs and high-interest savings accounts.
My savings are meant to prepare me for months of unemployment after I graduate (a statistical likelihood for the average PhD holder). I am also aware that my starting salary may not be as cushy as the allowance that my parents are giving me while I’m still in school, making me want to save more for big expenses in the future like a house (big maybe), trips back home, vacations, etc.
According to the Rule of 110, 82% of my portfolio should be in stocks. I wonder if I’m way too conservative for my age, especially because I’m not actively saving for a down payment. I’m worried that I’m not setting myself up for the future, though similarly concerned that I won’t have enough to tide me through months/ years of unemployment/ underemployment.
Am I right to be cautious given my circumstances, or am I sabotaging my future self by being too conservative? I’d love to hear y’all share your perspectives, experiences and advice! Thanks!

I am trying to get an EU passport and part of that is requesting birth certificates of relatives with letters of exemplification. What came in the mail from the city looks exactly like this example I found on Google:

Is this normal? The receipt order in the envelope says the letter of exemplification is enclosed. So I assume this is it? But it seems like I could just send a photocopy myself! I don't see any verification or security features on it.
Anyone have experience with this?

A family friend (70) asked me for help with her internet after her & her husband returned from their snowbird home. I hadn't seen them in a long time so I drove right over to their absolutely massive house.
She gave me a tour of all the work they'd had done, while bemoaning her $800/mo property taxes. When she showed me her husband's old office, a detached ~300sqft outbuilding, she explained she would be turning it into a rental and listing it for $1400/mo. This place is in the middle of nowhere and the building would have no privacy, living in their driveway essentially. Absolutely crazypants.
Their wifi router had given up the ghost while they were in their vaca home, so I drove down to the local big box store and grabbed a cheapo. Setup the new router, configured the new wifi on all of their devices, TVs, etc. About two hours work with the shopping trip.
I got an earful of all the latest talking points from Fox News while I worked, one of which included something about Sesame Street being too woke? I don't fucking know.
I handed her the receipt for the router, with tax it was $54.30. ANYBODY else and I would have just said, "It's on me, welcome home friends.". But these people can afford $50. Their garage is bigger than my house.
She gets her wallet out and starts laying bills down on the counter in front of me.
She lays down a $50, starts sifting through her wallet, lays down a $5. Keeps sifting through bills, and pulls out three $1 bills and lays them all out for me.
I grabbed $55 and said, "This'll do, you put down too much.".
She goes, "Oh no, the rest is for YOU! Thank you so much!"
In no way was I expecting to be paid for labor here. These are family friends. But that $3 tip was just insulting.
$0 would say: "We're friends, we dont pay each other" $100 would say: "I appreciate that your time has value"

Cowboy builder had sent me a claims letter through his insurance about a year ago after I had terminated his work due to prolonged delay and shoddy workmanship. I responded to the letter in a detailed point by point manner by refuting every claim with evidence of timely payment to every job phase completion demand of the builder. And I had clearly demonstrated that there was no amount due on my part.Instead the builder owed me money in the final financial calculation.I also highlighted how he went on a holiday on a sudden short notice leaving my property unguarded and in a shambolic condition. Every part of my argument was supported by evidence of invoice payment, correspondences received and sent, etc. Then there was no response from his solicitor for around a year. When i had inquired in the interim the builder's solicitor wrote that they were in the process of receiving instructions from their client. Now after about a year the builder's solicitor has sent me a response cleverly avoiding any mention of my detailed response to the money claims amount paid to his client . The solicitor is mentioning a new point of "omitted invoices", and alleging instead that i am delaying the process.Also on the health and safety point they are telling me to produce an independent third party report although i had provided date, time stamped real time images taken at the work site in my first response. They kept me at tenterhooks for this long. Now they want me to respond within 14 days. My home insurance had earlier declined to take up my case as the cowboy builder's company has no assets. The stress is crazy on me. Sorry about the rant. Any advice on my next move is highly appreciated. Please guide.

Rented a car in 2020 in McAllen Texas during the epidemic, drive rental to families house in Amarillo Texas where I was pulled over and was told the registration was expired and needed to contact Avis and let them know and until issue was fixed park the car. As directed by police I contacted Avis let them know the registration was expired and that they would have to come get car. This went back and forth until they came and retrieved car. And one afternoon I was pulled over and violently pulled from my personal car and arrested for Unauthorized Use of a motor vehicle. I had no idea what was going on. And said what is going on and the local police only said that I had a warrant. I bonded out and contacted Avis and was told to contact the McAllen police department. Which I did and was given the run around and told that the car was returned and case would be dismissed. And I let go and thought how absurd. On May 10th I heard a knock at the door asked who it was no one answered and then I was bombarded by the local sheriff's department and violently handcuffed and told I had a warrant and I was going to be picked up by McAllen sheriff's office and taken down there. Spent the whole weekend in jail worried about loosing my job my home for a car that has been returned a long time ago. What I need is an attorney that would be willing to take this case and sue for damages and mental trauma and to take the local sheriff's office on for violation of my civil rights. I have proof of rental agreement and payments that where made . I have proof that I didn't steal a rental car, I rented a car and continue to pay for it. Please help

Hi, I am a US citizen who received a camera speeding violation by Merseyside police on the 31st of January while on holiday. The violation occurred while driving a rental car. I plead guilty and paid a £100 fine and a £40 fee with the rental car company. After a month the original £100 fine was refunded with no explanation. Today I received a letter stating I now owe £408 according to a judge’s ruling. My question is why the refund and why the new fine? What are the worst consequences for not paying? If I never intend to come to the UK again I understand that there are no true consequences, but I never know what the future holds.

To start off with I live in a house share of 3 individuals and a dog. One flatmate is extremely antisocial and I am trying to figure out if I have been gaslit.
To give some context I’ve been living with my flatmates partner against my will since September 2023. Both me and my other flatmate tried to make clear we were uncomfortable about this months ago. He is extremely messy and had previously punched other men whilst drunk on more than one occasion. We gave these as reasons for us not wanting to be left alone with him in the house. Instead he was given a house key and it took months for this to be readdressed, any discussions we had were forgotten and messages we would send were ignored. In April 2024 we have been told his housing situation was “tricky” and that the flatmate in question needed him here as he was her only support system. She did not give the option of him moving out but instead told us he might be moving out in May 2024. In those 6 months we have been forced to pay his food bill for weeks (we previously had a communal food supply and had to separate and label our food because she kept feeding him without any contribution ) We have had to clean up continually for them both (both of them are very messy and often left spaces needing to be cleaned before being used.) We are told that because food is now separate bringing this up as an example of her disrespect is unacceptable. I have brought up that it is still extra labor in having to clean more often, and spend more money for cleaning products and was told that isn’t true and that they contribute fairly ( Since discussions of us feeling extremely used he has occasionally replaced coffee and toilet paper, paid bills once as of April 2024, does the dishes and occasionally does the bins) we are the ones doing most of the cleaning and always have done so this is an unfair split of labour in my opinion (the dog is also hers so we are cleaning up after 2 adults and a dog)
Neither of them have attempted to communicate over anything, my flatmates partner turned up one day with his dad and moved his things, when I told my flatmate this was not cool they laughed in my face and made a dismissive joke. Neither of them communicated to us that he had been thrown out of his previous house and would be living here. We would just find him in the house when we were under the impression we were home alone.
I realise I could have spoken to him directly, but for some reason was convinced that it would be snakey towards my flatmate to confront him and ask him why he felt so comfortable to dump his labour onto myself and my other flatmate as a 28yr old grown man, so instead everybody in the house just avoided each other with a very passive aggressive environment, in which we all participated in silent treatment. At its peak myself and the flatmate in question would be shoulder barging each other, which is very toxic and sad.
So far the reason given for him not ever cleaning up after himself was that he did not think it would be appropriate and we created a passive aggressive environment. ( We were very angry in this period, I myself even snapped on occasions where I raised my voice at my flatmate saying cruel things which I am ashamed of. This was in response to me feeling as though I was being used as a personal maid)
To give some more context to my own shitty behaviour spaces in the house were regularly left to a point of being unusable, unless we did it ourselves. This involved a months long flea infestation that was so severe you could not be in the house without being jumped on, we repeatedly tried to address this until the point we just dealt with it ourselves. I have had my TV broken when my flatmate was partying with friends which took months to even be acknowledged and not be told that it was not the right time to ask about it. Myself and my other flatmate have had to buy a separate fridge as we literally could not get our food into the houses shared fridge because we were left little space and were still having to regularly clean out others mouldy food. The dog is extremely reactive, he has anxiety and is often only given 2 or 3 short walks a week and spends the majority of his time in one bedroom, so being in the house with him means constant barking and he has been quite destructive. For months she would leave her dog whilst out partying and ignored all messages trying to bring up this forced labour.
Around this time something in me just broke, I actively tried to be petty and use a tit for tat mentality in how I treated her. This involved a lack of care for her items, refusing to do any labour for her, separating every single little thing, giving each other silent treatment. My OCD had been badly triggered after living in a flea infested house, this caused me to go into overdrive with cleaning where I would snap at any little mess. This was too much from me and it was a little controlling, but the situation was then reframed as me being “controlling” and not allowing my flatmate to ever relax in their house, rather than ever returning to the original upset of forced labour.
(I am going to give an example of a game she enjoyed playing with me here to try and explain what I feel has been done to me. She used to come over and start playfully hitting me, she would then ignore me saying no or stop, then when I blew up she would say don’t talk to me like that and frame it as me being angry and shouting at her inappropriately. I have had to address this with her and she has not played this game with me again, but I’ve seen her do it to someone else since and laugh in their face whilst visibly upsetting them, so I know they still enjoy doing it to others. Though just a silly game, this comfortability with ignoring a no and their ability to genuinely convince herself she hasn’t been given a boundary is one that bleeds into real life. )
On one occasion during an argument regarding labour I shouted at her to ‘fuck off back to neglecting your dog’ and I’m sure there were other things I probably said in an attempt to hurt her as much as I was hurting. I take zero pride in this and am deeply ashamed that I lowered myself to that behaviour. She herself belittled me in front of shared friends telling me “you never do anything for me you only do things for others you do nothing for me” over and over until I left the room. We had a huge row where she came down mid shower (as the hot water goes if multiple taps are on) whilst I was doing her dishes as the kitchen was a complete shit hole. I then told her no I’m not going to stop because i need to use my kitchen, and she told me i was disgusting for banning her from showering I told her she was disgusting for leaving the house as she did (I’m not exactly sure my exact words) she then told me “‘theres no room talking to you when ur like this”. Neither of us were right in this but I am giving it as an example of how toxic it is in the house.
A few days following this I said that if she refuses to discuss anything when she is leaving the house unusable for others and her partner is freeloading that I would report her to the landlord (I am not working on logic at this time but because I have been in fight or flight for months) she then told me it was disgusting to threaten her with homelessness and that she would never do something like that to me. I did not mean it as an intimidation tactic or maybe I did I’m not sure, it’s hard to think logically after being ignored over months.
After the threat I made to contact the landlord we discussed all of this, some of which she acknowledged, we both made an effort to apologise. However she tried to diminish the labour her and her partner purposefully used us for, would not give specifics about him moving out, and refused to apologise for belittling telling me she did not remember and it is not something she would ever say so she doesn’t know what I expect her to do. They told me I was not paying extra or doing more labour with an additional person living here. They have since cleaned the garden of bags of shit and dirty underwear that were left out for months, and made small efforts to be cleaner. However most of the house labour still falls onto us. (Some more context they very recently were injured and no longer can clean right now. This I understand completely however I would be lying if I didn’t feel burdened and obligated to now have to do that labour, or to help them with basic tasks when I can barely look at them without feeling sick, also I am still doing labour for her partner).
We have tried to meet her on every level for a very long time, previously we have had discussions about asking her when she is free rather than just dropping things on her, using a house chat, using a cleaning chart. We have tried to compromise and she has ignored all of these after agreeing to them. When I have gone to ask if she is free I have had her snap ‘what now’ I have seen her roll her eyes to others regarding a cleaning chart she agreed to because others were tired of cleaning for her, ignore all messages in the house chat.
My property has been repeatedly damaged or not taken care of as has others. I’ve had to spend over £100 easily. I am so tired of being ignored, laughed at or given no response at all to continual lack of consideration for others and their boundaries. My reactivity does need to be worked on, yes. However theres only so far people can be pushed before they snap, and I’m terrified that I’m going to break again.
When I’ve discussed this with others who have lived with her to see if they noticed this pattern of behaviour they knew exactly what I was talking about, which worries me.
To sum up I do not feel safe in this house, my back is permanently against the wall as I am just waiting for the next boundary violation at this point. This has already happened in truth as we recently received a letter saying we were overdue for council tax which threatened court if not paid off, I paid off mine and I didn’t bother to ask my flatmate to send over the remaining owed money as I am fed up of having all communication ignored and did not want to wait for her to be bothered to send me the money. If there is something that needs her attention you often need to ask for it to be done over and over which again is labour in the first place. As far as I’m aware this bill is still overdue as I have been completely ignored regarding it.
I do not think she truly realises that she has deeply traumatised myself and my flatmate through giving us no autonomy over who lives in this house or leaving us to care for her dog. My OCD is still pretty bad and being in this house or around her makes my skin crawl. So I guess I am wondering if I have been gaslit? Taking my own toxic behaviour into account I do not know whether I can criticise her or if I am being hypocritical in labelling her as toxic. My memory is too foggy to remember a lot of what has actually happened, but I have this of strong feeling of disillusionment that will not leave. I am stuck in this house until October 2024, and I am trying to just get on with it, but I can’t stop obsessing over what has happened, sometimes it’s all I can think about. I feel too guilty or snakey to contact the landlord as she is a longtime friend and I am afraid she will badmouth me to others if I do so. Is she right that it would be controlling to contact the landlord? I guess I just need to know from someone unaffiliated if reporting her (whilst she is injured and also experiencing a bereavement) after we’ve tried to make amends makes me a cunt? Or if it means I’m just trying to survive?

I will ship fast and pack the items securely. All packages will be hand delivered, over the counter, to USPS, and I will send photos of the receipt should you need it. Once I hand off the package all responsibility for delivery is between the buyer and USPS. I had top surgery with Dr. Gast at UW Health in October 2022 and it's been a process of one annoyance after another since I first reached out to the clinic around Feb/March or 2021. I'll say that the results of my surgery seem technically okay, but I didn't get a single thing I asked for, despite her saying all of it would be possible during my consultations.
The first issues were after I got my letter of readiness (September 2021) and they started to run the surgery through my insurance. From then until around February/March, UW Health, myself, and my insurance (Aetna) went back and forth about whether the nipple graft would be covered by insurance. Aetna had a clear policy on which code to use to get it covered, but UW Health continuously refused to use that code and insisted it had to be a different code. In the end, I decided I wanted to just get the surgery done and agreed to pay UW Health's $3500 (cash, due upfront, no payment plan) option for out-of-pocket nipple graft.
I was doing FtNB, so I asked for slightly largefuller pecs and larger nipples/areolas both to look more androgynous and because I wanted to get my nipples re-pierced after the surgery. All of these points were reiterated at EVERY check-point including pre-surgery visits, consultations, and in the surgery prep room. The final result I have is completely flat pecs and nipples so small they barely even protrude from the skin, and UW Health is giving me the complete run around on trying to resolve. So the surgery is technically proficient, but not at all what I asked for in terms of results.
After the surgery when I started healing, I noticed my nipples and areolas seemed really small, but I know they can take time to protrude, so I waited around 9 months to set up a post-op consult to talk about revisions for the small dog ears and the small nipples. I was told this consult could be done as a video call (I don't live in Madison), so I scheduled the appointment, waited a few weeks, and had the call where Dr. Gast told me this could only be handled in person. So I had to make ANOTHER appointment, wait again, and drive out to Madison to get looked at.
During this in person appointment, Dr. Gast told me she could set up a revision surgery for the dog ears and ask a colleague about nipple fillers. She told me that if I was a candidate for the fillers, they would be free at their filler clinic.
After a few weeks, I hadn't heard anything back, so I reached out and she said the other doctor said I was a good candidate for fillers. So I try to schedule an appointment for the fillers, but now the nurses are telling me that:
1) I have to go have ANOTHER in-person consult with this other doctor (why wasn't I told this so I could have both consults back in October when I was there already??? They knew I wanted to talk about nipple filling options... No one can answer this...)
2) The consult will be separate from the procedure, so I'll also have to go back ANOTHER TIME to do that.
3) Instead of FREE as I was told both verbally and in a written message by Dr. Gast, I'm now being told the fillers will be some mystery price between $600 and several thousand dollars (which no one can tell me until after the procedure???). Remember this is ON TOP of the $3500 I paid to get nipples that are nothing like what I asked for...
I also asked before my surgery if revisions would be included and they said yes, but now that I need revisions the cost of everything is vague answers of a lot of money.
At this point I'm feeling like I should just either give up and be stuck with pecs/nipples I hate and constantly want to hide or find some other surgeon closer to home. If I have to pay for all the revisions either way, I might as well save myself all of the driving.

I got a notice to vacate for non-payment of rent. I had a very hard month financially due to some unresolved traffic tickets. I was given a very short time frame to pay them off. I will be able to pay my rent on the 15th but that is the day my notice to vacate paper says I need to vacate the premises. I talked to the property manager. They asked when I would be able to pay. I told them the 15th and got this letter on the 10th. I’ve never been late before. I’m scared they will evict me and then I will have additional fees that I will not be able to afford. I know it’s not good that I am this late but will I be ok if I pay the rent in full on top of late fees on the 15th?

I (swiss resident) received a letter from Euro Parking Collection PLC for not Paying the Toll at Tymes Tunnel in the UK. After a bit of googling, I found out that the signage at the tunnel itself is not visible and one can pay the toll, without additional fees, if one declares not being local to the area. Now the problem is that before I was aware of all of this, my toll and fine got forwarded to the Euro Parking Collection LLC (EPC), a european company. So I'm dealing with EU law. The letter got to me 30 days after I had not passed the toll. As soon as I found out there was an open invoice in my name, I found the information of only having to pay the toll, and even the letter I received from EPC stated that I can pay only the toll within 14 days of passing the toll. Since the letter arrived so late, I paid the toll and emailed them, explaining the situation.
My request got denied and now are expecting me to pay the full amount. The bill breaks down the following ways:

• 69.55 CHF Unpaid toll fee
• 86.94 CHF Administration fee
• 2.55 CHF Toll fee (original Toll Payment which I paid)
• 159.04 CHF Total amount
• 2.55 CHF Paid/remitted
• 156.49 CHF Outstanding amount

Now I am aware that in Switzerland one only has to pay the original payment + “interest payable on late payments".
The letter doesn’t tell me what the interest is and it can be a maximum of 15% of the original fee.
Does anyone have any experience with EPC? I’m glad for any help I can get. Thanks!
