2024.05.14 15:05 Makemelegal Help with new network mesh setup

Hoping someone can help advise on how best to setup my new Mesh Network - i've bought a set of TP-Link Deco P9s (50cm+ thick stone walls in an old house so need PowerLine backhaul for where i can't run wires to) and need to get them up and running properly.
My plan was to use the ISP supplied Technicolor DGA0122 in bridge mode (following this) as the modem and then use the P9 for routing (cable from port 1 of DGA to primary P9 unit). However, when entering the PPPoE settings (VLan, username and password) in the Deco app it wont connect. I can leave the DGA0122 operating as supplied and turn off wifi and then the Deco units work but from what i've read this can lead to NAT/DHCP issues?
So before i half arse it and set myself up for future issues, can anyone advise on the correct method, please?

Is anyone else not having anything show up when you go to share options then clicking google drive under connected services? I can share to google drive if I click the share link in the upper right corner then choose the google drive app from the list, but being able to click google drive in the connected services area is so much more efficient. I am a teacher and am constantly sharing updated to pdf files and the extra time I’m spending is adding up.

2024.05.14 14:29 supercoomerdu92 Literally impossible to create an account

I've been trying for months, not actively but every time I need a TG account i'm reminded that it just won't let me. It seems like it's literally impossible for me to create an account I have no idea what to do.
What I tried so far:
Bought several "one time activation" SMS on paid services, usually work for 99% of online registration that requires a phone number. I probably tested over 100 phone numbers at this point and not a single one worked for TG.
Bought an actual phone number with a subscription in a european country using monero too, since I wanted to keep my privacy. Once again didn't work, didn't receive anything. Always the same message that I need to check my telegram app for the code they sent me. Except it's a brand new number that's never been used before, and I didn't receive any sms either.
Tried a few other phone services in crypto before giving up entirely and accepting I wouldn't be able to get an while preserving my privacy.
I went to a physical store and registered a new phone number with a new sim card and all, put the sim card in my phone and tried the process again with this brand new number that I had just bought myself, activated and tested on several services to make sure it worked fine. Well as you guessed it, I had the exact same issue. Which is driving me crazy.
But it doesn't stop there.
I tried all that on my other phone, because I thought maybe since i'm using LineageOS on my main phone there could be an issue within the app and google services or whatever. So I tried on my secondary phone which has stock android installed, and the same thing happened.
Thought it could be linked to my VPN, which is my own VPS where i'm hosting my VPN so it shouldn't be blacklisted or whatever but still, I tried with commercial vpns too, and then I gave up and just used my home connection but the problem remains still. I have no idea what could cause that, it's not related to the OS, not related to the ip address, not related to my country (i tried a few different countries), definitely not related to the phone numbers or even the phone themselves (and their OS). I even tried to set up an account using a VM.
What kind of black magic does telegram use to actively prevent me from creating an account ? I've had ONE account in the past, on my old number, that I lost after changing phones and now I can't even activate it. It's not like i'm botting the system or trying to create millions of accounts, I just want a SINGLE account to use TG like a normal person (to shitpost on private groups). I'm going crazy, is my only way to get an account to buy one "officially" using TON on fragment ? From what I see the min bid is like 20TON so around $150 for a number ? And i'm not even sure it's gonna work either at this point ?

I'm currently in a really good place mentally with my twin, probably the best I ever been since we connected. My twin and I have acknowledged there is something between us, but he is with a karmic and has made his position very clear that he won't change his situation.
I've been on a dating app recently, chatting to a few people, had a few offers to meet but I've just not felt ready, until I connected with J. As soon as I saw his profile I was drawn to him, I didn't realise at first but, I think it's because he reminded me of my twin, they have similar features. We got talking and by day 2 I'd agreed to go on a date with him, which I never do. We spent the following days leading up to the date talking and getting to know each other more, I learned that he has very similar interests and hobbies to my twin.
The date was at the weekend, it went really well, there's something about him, he's not my 'usual' type, which I quite like, there was good chemistry, he made me laugh, we realised we have very similar pasts / upbringings, like our lives have gone down different paths but also very aligned which feels crazy.
I also learned his surname... his initials are same as my twin. He is also the same star sign as my twin. Similar body shape / frame. The similarities are wild.
Despite how it may sound, I'm not feeling like I'm comparing the two, or interested in J only because he reminds me of my twin. This may sound crazy but it feels like the universe has connected me to someone who is so like my twin, but could potentially be better for me, my twin is a bit of a d*ck and there are traits I don't like, we have different morals etc that I seem to be in agreement with J.
Has anyone ever experienced this before?
Going for date number 2 this weekend, fingers crossed!

Sup.So i played this game a couple of times without any issues but since they remake the anti cheat thing every time i launch the game , the game is breaking my internet connection and i cannot connect back until i restart the computer.This is happening only when i launch the game , i have no problems with other games , apps etc.I use internet cable not wifi and i have a good internet connection with good ping. When i launch the game and the game is disconnecting me from the internet i tried to connect back but it said '' specified port already open '' Basically it tells me that im already connected even tho im not , and i searched this problem on google and i found out the reason its saying that its because its locking itself from connecting back unless i restart the pc.I did alot of tests with everything , there is no problem with my computer or the internet connection i have , it's the game 100% i don't know what makes it do that but it's breaking my connection for some reason.If someone knows that would be amazing since i can't play the game anymore and now i basically paid for nothing.Thanks.

When I try searching via 'Network - Discovery: Nanoleaf' on the SignalRGB app it won't find anything.

I feel stupid asking this, I've tried for ages, i've googled it, what am I doing wrong?
I have used the Alexa app to pair my phone with my echo dot, it announces that its connected whenever I do connect, my phone settings say I am connected to the device, and so does the Alexa app. Sound only comes through my phone speaker when attempting to play music on the Youtube music app.
I've got other bluetooth speakers that work by simply pairing them with my phone, I am so confused on what i've missed, please help!

2024.05.14 13:19 LowOwl4312 Bank that doesn't need a smartphone app

My current bank (Starling) has updated their app and now it won't run on my phone with GrapheneOS anymore. Even though my phone is not rooted or insecure in any other way, they don't support any de-Googled versions of Android anymore. They also don't offer any alternative ways of logging in to online banking.
So I'd like to switch to another bank. I think most high street banks offer a card reader, at least on request, but as this is a bit annoying (e.g. unable to make a payment when you don't have the card reader) I was wondering which banks allow 2-factor authentication with TOTP, email or SMS? And don't have any plans to stop this and require an app in the future?
Secondary criteria would be the ability to have a joint account (which is all of them I guess), a mobile-friendly online banking website (to use that instead of the app), and good currency conversion rates and fees when paying in other currencies or abroad (this originally drew me in to Starling).
