2024.05.14 03:04 Current-Ad7615 BMW G30 540i RWD Spring Rate Suggestions

Any ideas for spring rates for a 2018-2023 BMW 540I RWD?
BC Racing default rates are 8K/4.2K, Silver's Neomax and Megan is 10K/6K, Function+Form is 10K/5K, ECS is 8K/6K, K-Sport is 9.8K/8.7K, Rev 9 is 8K/5K, SF Racing is 14K/6K.
I'm looking for an aggressive/slammed drop with aggressive wheels that stick slightly beyond the fender on stretched tires. I'd imagine those rates above are for slightly dropped cars. Of course I want the impossible, and want as as much comfort as possible, so not looking for anything super extreme (I had 16K/14K on my E39 which although is a different chasis, has the same front and rear suspension, and approximate same weight/weight distribution and it was HORRIBLE LOL) That said, I'm willing to go as low and as aggressive as possible without comprimising ride quality to the level my E39 was at lol.
Thoughts?

2024.05.14 01:38 MrGreen387 Selling Fanatec CSL DD Wheelbase Bundle in SoCal

Hey everyone,
I'm looking to sell my Fanatec CSL DD (8Nm) wheelbase bundle with some additional peripherals. Here's what's included:
I got this setup a few months ago, but I haven't been using it lately, so I figured it's time to find it a new home. Everything is in great condition and ready for some serious racing action.
I'd prefer to sell it locally in Southern California. If you're interested or have any questions, feel free to shoot me a message. $1500 without tax. :-)

2024.05.14 01:00 MotoDreams1103V4 Does anyone else think Indian Motorcycle is offensive?

Does anyone else think Indian Motorcycle is offensive?
The word Indian is so outdated. It’s more akin to the word Negro. Which is also an outdated word and if you said it today, it would be highly offensive. Someone would definitely correct you, “Hey man, we don’t use that word anymore.“ Many young Native people, like me, feel that the word Indian is just as offensive as the word Negro. And that it too should be retired.
Oh, by the way, the “it’s an honor to be a mascot“ argument has been officially rejected by the majority of indigenous peoples of the United States! It’s not an honor. It’s messed up. And y’all need to knock it off.
Also, what’s up with this company using us as a mascot? Why is the image of a Native American person on the side of their motorcycle tanks anyway,??? Why are Indian motorcycles called Scout and chief??? I mean WTF! Haha, it makes me laugh because I just cannot believe that a company named Indian motorcycle exists! Is it not the 21st-century?! I kind of feel like I’m living in the past or something, like in a twisted alternate reality, like in a twilight zone episode where everyone thinks that using a living people as their logo/mascot, and their culture as a marking tool to see a product! And on top of that, they are continuing to use the offensive term “Indian“ when so many of us feel that it is a highly offensive and outdated term. For some, like me, the word Indian is just flat out racist.
Btw, the “it’s an honor to be a mascot” argument has been retired as well It’s not an honor. It’s racist and offensive. Ha ha. You’ll never convince me that to feel honor in a word that was used as a slur and derogatory term… A term that meant “lesser than”, and a term that meant being something less than human and more similar to an animal in nature. You’ll never convince me that it is an honor to be reduced to a simple stereotype. It’s dehumanizing.
Nothing irks me more than seeing a white dude on motorcycle that he probably loves to call Chief! One time I walked up to a very proud white man at a coffee shop sitting next to his Indian motorcycle at a table outside, and I said is that your bike? He said yes and was beaming. He probably thought I was gonna say, “cool bike man, you’re so cool.” But instead, I said “did you know that term is highly offensive? I’m Native American and that image right there, that logo and that term is not something to be proud of, it makes me feel terrible actually. You should think about getting another bike.” And I walked away. He finished his coffee quickly, and a few silent, awkward moments later I heard him start his bike and drive off. Hah! Good! I hope he thinks about what I said and trades his offensive bike in for another rich man’s motorcycle like the BMW GS 1200! The one with those square aluminum paneers with stickers all over it! Ha ha!
I doubt Indian Motorcycle is going to change their name and logo anytime soon so…
Who wants to start a motorcycle company with me called Caucasian motorcycles? Will create a mascot that will resemble a Wall Street white man, like a Trump- Uncle Sam- Monopoly guy hybrid! Ha ha, can you imagine!? and we will make our white man mascot super stereotypical, too! We will play on the worst qualities of their race, but ones that we think are their best qualities! Because this is our Motorcycle company and we create the narrative! Our mascot will represent power and dominance, and a spirit that cannot be broken, but not because he is resilient or strong, but because this warrior doesn’t need strength or resiliency —because he rigged the game so that he never loses. Oh yes, our mascot is cunning! Ah hoooooo! Our mascot will have a big greedy grin, piercing blue eyes, the kind of eyes that make you uncomfortable because they’re usually too close to your face and they never look away! Just keep staring at you all awkward! the kind of eyes those artist can draw that seem to follow you around the room no matter where you standing! Ha ha. Yiiiii! All creepy!…making us brown folks feel all uncomfortable and out of place! Yeah, we will hire one of those artists to draw up our mascot. And! Our mascot will have no cheekbones! We will make them real sunken in actually. Yeah, his lack of cheekbones is how we will distinguish his race from others! So now, as Natives we will get to say, “I’m 3/4 native and 1/4 white, you can tell because my cheekbones are kinda of sunken in. Based on my depressed cheekbones, I think I might apply for an English passport!“ Ayyy! We will name our motorcycles “the colonizer“, “discoverer”, “hero explorer” and “savior“! Hehe so funny! what else could we name our motorcycles? Can somebody please draw this logo for me! Trump hair, monopoly, guy monocle, a big greedy toothy grin, and eyes that follow you around the room, no matter where you stand! 😂🤣

CONTENT OVERVIEW
TRACKS
Mobil 1 & Maple Valley - Maple Valley has been updated with new track signage featuring Mobil 1 branding as part of a partnership between Forza and Mobil 1 to celebrate Mobil 1’s 50th anniversary. Placed a barrier along the pit exit at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. To accommodate this change, leaderboards for this track have been reset. Increased the track material luminance to be more physically correct, improving the overall contrast and color saturation of the track. This affects newly released tracks as well as future track updates. Reset leaderboards for Le Mans track layouts following the changes made to this track in Update 7. Update 8 does not include a new track location – our next track release is scheduled for Update 9, expected to be available in June.
FEATURES AND CHANGES
Livery Editor
Update 8 introduces a Vinyl Material tool to the Livery Editor which can be used to uniformly adjust all vinyl materials on a car from matte (non-reflective) to glossy (reflective). This includes a reset option to revert all vinyls to match car paint glossiness. Imported designs from Forza Horizon 5 using its similar feature will automatically inherit these values. When removing a livery from a vehicle, the color will now be reset to the default manufacturer color instead of the color when the player purchases it. Adjusted the arrangement of hint buttons in Livery Editor at the bottom of the screen. The ‘Find Designs’ menu is now accessible for rental cars when players try to open it from ‘Design & Paint Menu’ and ‘Livery Mode Select’ scenes. Added iconography to layers in the Livery Editor. The player can now see icons to indicate if it’s a mask layer or a locked layer. Other fixes listed in the Release Notes.
Tire Wear Scale
We’ve added a Tire Wear Scale option to Free Play and Private Multiplayer, allowing adjustments to the rate at which tires are worn. 1x is the default value. At 2x, tire wear will occur twice as fast. Values range from .5x to 10x. This setting is found in the Event Setup Rules tab and in the Fuel & Tire menu when on track.
Safety Ratings and Matchmaking
We’ve improved Safety Ratings in Featured Multiplayer by increasing the number of previous races the Safety Rating uses to determine your rating from 10 to 20, and by making on-track collisions more impactful to Safety Rating. These changes will take effect after your first race in Update 8. In addition, we’ve updated the matchmaking algorithm to search for a narrower range of Safety Ratings compared to your own. For example, players with an ‘S’ Safety Rating should no longer be matched with players who have ‘E’ and ‘D’ Safety Ratings. Groups will be connected to matches based on the player with the lowest Safety Rating.
Car Divisions and Events
Corrected an issue where the 1969 Lola #6 Sunoco T70 MkIIIB was eligible for the Vintage Le Mans Prototypes Series rather than the Prototype Group Racing Series. The 2020 KTM X-Bow GT2 and the 2020 Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 are moved from the Forza GT Series to the Modern Factory Racecar Series in Featured Multiplayer. The 2019 Porsche #70 Porsche Motorsport 935 has been added to the Forza GT Series. We’re currently working on recategorizing Forza GT racecars into separate spec divisions and expect to push these changes into the game this summer.
Car Balancing
The following cars have been rebalanced in Featured Multiplayer Spec Series: Featured Multiplayer Spec Series Car Name Change Summary Forza GT Series 2019 Ginetta G55 GT4 Engine torque: +25% Car Mass: +13.4% Front Downforce: -45% Rear Downforce: -45% Early Factory Racecar Series 1997 McLaren F1 GT Increased Power 10% Early Factory Racecar Series 1997 Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion Increased Power 13% Lowered weight/ballast 3% Early Factory Racecar Series 1989 Ferrari F40 Competizione Increased power 10% Weight decreased 2%
AI Drivatar behavior
We’ve reduced unnecessary braking scenarios for Drivatar AI opponents. Examples of this include braking while attempting to pass, two cars wide in corners, and at the apex of corners.
Other Changes
We’ve updated Featured Multiplayer events to use consistent weather conditions and avoid unpredictable weather transitions mid-race. The Open Class Tour in Career mode has been migrated from the Builders Cup tab to the Featured tab. The Open Class Tour will be found in the Featured tab going forward. Starting with Update 8, VIPs can look forward to an exclusive 15% discount on a car every week in the Showroom alongside the 30% discount on Spotlight cars. Screen Narrator will now read associated credit bonuses as part of the option value names on Free Play Advanced options which affect credits earned during the event. This change also fixes the display of the bonus percentages for all players. Screen Narrator now fully supports the “Series Standings” leaderboard scene accessed from the Builders Cup Event Setup scene. The Tune Setups menu is now fully narrated. Added descriptive text for the SoundCloud Driver Suit.
CARS
Update 8 adds five cars to the game: 2 Reward Cars (Porsche 935 and BMW 1 Series M), and 3 Spotlight cars (Ginetta G40 Junior, Porsche Cayman GTS, and Elemental RP1). These additions bring the total game roster to 590 cars.
Reward Cars
Reward cars are available only from completing events in the Builders Cup Career.

2024.05.13 19:43 stormbreak_0654 if there's 4 year between the prologue race of carbon where we flee palmont with Darius supra and the prologue of most wanted where we arrive at Rockport with BMW M3 GTR,what were the protagonist of MW/Carbon doing at that 4 year?

What the title says, also if you ask how I know the prologue race of carbon (where the MW/Carbon protagonist drives Darius supra) happens in 2001 it's becuase Nikki was 19 year old at that scene but when we come back to Palmont she was 24.
Also given that the protagonist's BMW M3 GTR is 2001 model, there is also a possibility that he bought it in 2001.

2024.05.13 12:56 Global_Implement_940 what would you do?

Owned my sim gear for about 6/7 months now. My setup is as follows:
Now that i've added that for context, over to my question. i've got about £700 - £800 to upgrade some stuff. I'm torn between upgrading my pedals, buying a new base (Fanatec DD+) or getting a new wheel.
The new pedals i want are the VRS DirectForce pro which i think i can get for around £750.
And the new wheel i want is the Sparco formula wheel + the rally module + podium hub + QR2. This will be a similar price to the pedals.
The DD+ will set me back £1200 so a bit out of my budget atm and i'm also kind of happy with my CSL DD for the moment so i think this option isn't realistic or practical for the money it will cost.
My head is leaning towards the pedals as this will help me improve my lap times so that's probably my preferred option. I would love the new wheel too as i mainly race GT3 cars and whilst i like the McLaren wheel, its not of the highest quality.
wondering what others would do?

2024.05.13 07:31 MrCheggersPartyQuiz I feel like quitting

I don’t mean on trying to get the stupid BMW, I mean that I feel like quitting CSR all together.
Between the uncertain future of this game with CSR3 out now & that I’ve been racing 250 races with the F1, I was so close to 1400 trophies but lost it to fucking cheaters. I’m so done with this game. I hate how P2W it’s become & how little the devs care, I feel like leaving it all behind & forgetting how much I spent on this glorified rhythm game.

2024.05.13 06:57 elbarto232 If you had to wrap your odyssey, what color would you choose?

I have a ‘24 Odyssey, which I plan to keep for a long long time. Since I’m in Canada, I only had choice of 3 colors, and I went with grey.
I’m hoping to spice the look of the car a little bit, because the grey sorta looks drab, and given that I’m going to be driving this for a long time, it’s not a bad idea imo to invest in a PPF vinyl wrap.
What are some good options for wrap colors for the odyssey? I need it to look exciting, but I also don’t want it to be overkill (it is a minivan after all, racing green for ex would be funny)
The other car on my driveway is a carbon metallic black BMW, and for those of you unfamiliar with that color, it’s a dark metallic blue color in the light, and black when seen in the dark.

2024.05.13 04:45 Comfortable-Bunch-81 BMW 335i convertible vs IS350c

I know it may be biased here but I was just seeing if anyone has driven both the Lexus is350c and bmw 335i convertible? I recently drove both and the Lexus felt way faster, not sure if that’s because the bmw I drove was high kms (185,000kms) compared to the Lexus (130,000kms).
I really like the bmw styling and backseats better and didn’t get loads of time really pushing the cars besides just straight line flooring them. But from what I’ve experienced so far the 335i felt quite underwhelming and the Lexus felt seriously fast. If anyone has experienced something different or has any links to articles or anything I would love to hear about it because I really want to love the bmw but is the convertible slower or faster than the is350c, I’ve seen so many different sources saying opposite things to each other over and over. Would love if there was just a reputable source that drag raced the two cars against eachother.

2024.05.13 03:42 OriginalPapaya8 The Brazilian Fiat 147 and its derivatives. Long post ahead.

THE BEGINNING
The exclusive Fiat 147, which was directly derived from the European success 127, launched in 1971. The new car, according to the Italians, would fit like a glove to the needs that Brazilians had to get around in a country of continental dimensions: the small 147 was robust, with easy and simple mechanics and, at the same time, provided a low cost maintenance. Furthermore, it had significant fuel economy when compared to other national cars of the time.
Perhaps due to its very compact external dimensions in relation to what was known, the new Fiat car left Brazilians with some insecurity, because, when looking at the national market, it was really compact, which made people think it was a frail and unreliable car.
THE ENGINE AND OTHER THINGS
Initially the compact received the FIASA engine (Fiat Automóveis S.A) which had a displacement of 1,050 cc yielding 55 hp (SAE) which led it to having a 0 - 100 km/h or 0 - 62 mph time of 18,8 seconds and a top speed of 135 km/h or 83 mph but most importantly, the fuel consumption was incredible: 12.3 km/l or 28.9 mpg in the city and 18.8 km/l or 44.2 mpg on the highway. In relation to the Italian 127, the Brazilian car had a more robust body, with more welding points, a fully independent suspension, being independent McPherson strut with coil springs at the front and transverse leaf spring at the rear, things that were necessary to face the harsh and mostly unpaved Brazilian roads. To showcase the new car and shut down the doubts of potential buyers a bold marketing campaign was launched where the little car descended and ascended the 365 steps of the staircase of the Penha church (RJ), famous for the promises of its faithful, without any type of special preparation, showcasing its reliability. In 1979 the ethanol version was launched, making this the first car to use this fuel type in the world, due to the modifications necessary to use this fuel the horsepower increased to 62 hp. Thanks to the burning of ethanol, this version let out a smell that resembled distilled drinks, which earned the car the nickname “Cachacinha”, which is the diminutive of the word “Cachaça” Brazil’s national distilled beverage.
SMALL EXTERIOR, BIG INTERIOR
The 147’s external size was very deceptive, measuring 3.62 m or 11’10” long, 1.54 m or 5’ wide, 1.35 m or 4’5” tall and having a wheelbase of 2.22 m or 7’3”, the car was smaller than the VW Beetle, but thanks to its masterful use of space and and the engine mounted in a transverse position, something never seen in any Brazilian car up to that time, made the interior space and trunk larger than that of its competitors, the trunk had a 352 liter or 12,43 cubic feet of capacity, which was helped by the fact that the spare tire was placed on top of the engine and thus didn't took any space away from the luggage.
DESIGN / FACELIFTS / NEW GENERATIONS
EUROPA FACELIFT (Picture 2): In 1980, the Fiat 147 underwent its first visual restyling, which was concentrated especially on its front. The new front of the hatch had a look that followed the trend of the time, marked by the wedge-shaped hood, the new slightly inclined engine cooling grille, and the polypropylene plastic bumpers that, depending on the version, could be painted in black or grey, the steering lights are now integrated next to the headlights, meanwhile, the side stripes of the sports versions are replaced by side rubbers, while at the rear the only novelty is the new license plate lighting set. With this update, the front of the car became known as the European Front. On a side note, the basic trim level still had the same visual style as the first version up until 1982.
SPAZIO FACELIFT (Picture 3): In 1983 the Spazio restyling brought new features such as new plastic bumpers with a wraparound design, new headlights, new amber direction lights, a new brand logo, on its side it featured new direction repeaters on the fenders, new plastic moldings and new wheels, at the rear the Spazio version had a larger rear window and new, thinner and longer tail lights. Inside, the new features included a new dashboard with a more modern design, a new instrument panel with information such as: speedometer, coolant temperature and fuel level, as well as warning lights.
VARIANTS
FURGONETA: This was the cargo version of the 147, which was nothing more than a 147 without the rear seats and rear windows. On the inside, this version gained a dividing grille to prevent objects in the cargo compartment from being thrown against passengers in the event of an accident or sudden braking.
147 PICK-UP / FIORINO: In 1979, the first compact pickup truck derived from a passenger car, the Fiat 147 Pick-Up, was launched. The pickup used the same platform as the 147 hatch, which resulted in a small bucket with a curious lid that opened to the side. Despite being small, the pickup can carry up to 420 kilos of cargo and could either be equipped with the 1050 cc engine or the 1300 cc one. In 1981, the Fiat 147 pickup was updated, now called Fiat Fiorino, the pickup uses the same platform as the recently launched Panorama, and with the old front, the pickup became larger and had its suspension reinforced to support the new capacity of 500 kg or 1102,31 lbs of load. Other than that, it's worth highlighting the new vertical taillights that allow the pickup to have a larger lid that can open downwards.
FIORINO CARGO VAN: In 1981 the cargo van version was launched, based on the pickup truck, this version was called Fiat Fiorino Furgão. This van stood out for several reasons, including its good load capacity of 2700 liters or 95.34 cubic feet, the two large doors that opened to the sides and the small cargo compartment above the cabin.
PANORAMA STATION WAGON: In addition to the restyling, 1980 was marked by the launch of the Panorama station wagon. Available only in the C and CL versions and equipped with the 1300 cc engine, the Fiat Panorama stood out for its appearance, which already had the restyled front, the large glass area, and the great internal space, thanks to its length 18 cm or 7 inches greater than the hatch, another detail that increased its internal space was the projection on the roof that increased headroom for rear seat occupants. Regarding luggage, this station wagon had a trunk with a capacity of up to 669 liters or 23.62 cubic feet, which could be increased to 1440 liters or 50.85 cubic feet by folding the rear seats.
OGGI SALOON: In 1983 the sedan version of the 147, the Oggi, was launched. Being only available in the CL version, it had qualities such as good interior space and a spacious trunk of 450 liters or 15.8 cubic feet.
TRIM LEVELS
Initially there was only one level available, L but just a bit later two new trim levels were added, the basic version that didn't have a denomination and the top trim level called GL, leaving the L version as the middle of the road level.
147 GL: The GL level had things such as chrome exterior details and new special wheels, a velvety lined interior, front seats with reclining backrest and headrest, tilting lid for the trunk, new exclusive steering wheel and new gauge cluster that had a coolant temperature marker in addition to the speedometer and fuel gauge.
147 GSL: In 1979 a new, more sophisticated version was unveiled, the GLS, the GLS version had external details such as a thin black stripe marking its entire side, the name of the version on both sides of the hood, black door handles, a new brand emblem in the center of the engine grille, as well as chrome bumpers with large rubber bands and rectangular headlights located above the front bumper. Inside, this version featured velvet upholstery, three-point seat belts on the front seats, headrests for rear seat occupants, three-spoke steering wheel, more complete instrument panel with tachometer as well as speedometer, temperature gauge engine and fuel level marker and two more circular markers in the center of the panel with an oil pressure gauge and analog clock. The Fiat 147 GLS had the new 1.3 engine that developed 61 horsepower.
147 RALLYE: That same year the Rallye version with a sporty appeal was released. This version differed from the others by presenting details such as side stripes with the name of the version, wheels painted in black and silver, black bumpers with a spoiler on the front bumper and a small black air intake on the interior cooling grille. Inside, it featured an all-black interior with wraparound front seats that had headrests integrated into them, a sports steering wheel and the same instrument panel as the GLS version. The engine was the same 1.3 as the GLS version, however, thanks to the double barrel carburetor, its power increased to 72 horsepower.
FIORINO CITY: In 1982, Fiat Fiorino gained a new version, the City, a version that was not aimed at work but aimed at a younger audience, it had a touch of sportiness, this one had the new Europa front and a better interior finish.
147 C: This was the new naming for the previous basic version, this version had the novelty of having the same front as the other trim levels.
147 CL: This is basically the previous L middle trim levels version.
147 Top: This is the new name for the GLS version. This was the only version changed. It had details such as plastic appliqués on the sides, the name of the version on both sides of the hood, wheels painted black and silver, front bumper with spoiler, fog lights, rear window wiper and as an option: sunroof. Inside, this version brought even more luxury and sophistication with the same dashboard and steering wheel as the Panorama CL, reclining front seats and a split rear seat.
147 Racing: The 147 rallye version was replaced by this version called Racing. This version had basically the same look as the Top version, with the addition of a small wing at the rear of the roof that brought improvements in performance and fuel economy. Inside, this version differed by having a lower steering column, resulting in a more vertical steering wheel position, in addition to the new four-spoke sports steering wheel, the front seats with high backs and covered in black vinyl with the front part in gray flocked velvet.
147 TR: In 1983 the new sports version of the 147 was launched, the 147 TR. The Fiat 147 TR's appearance was marked by long-range headlights and a rear with two spoilers, one on the roof and the other on the trunk lid below the glass. The interior had high backrest seats, and a dashboard with a rev counter, voltmeter and oil pressure gauge.
OGGI CSS: In 1984, the performance version of the Fiat Oggi, the Oggi CSS, was launched. This version had an exclusive 1400 cc engine powered by ethanol that developed 78 horsepower and 11.2 kgm of torque. The look received several changes such as front deflector, side skirts, wing over the trunk lid, deflector at the end of the roof, as well as auxiliary headlights, exclusive stickers and new aluminum wheels. Its ride height was also lower, the rear suspension was firmer and its clutch was new and made to make the sedan more sporty. Inside, the Oggi received the dashboard and four-spoke steering wheel from the 147 TR.

2024.05.13 00:13 OriginalPapaya8 The Brazilian Fiat 147 and its derivatives. Long post ahead.

The Brazilian Fiat 147 and its derivatives. Long post ahead.
THE BEGINNING: The exclusive Fiat 147, which was directly derived from the European success 127, launched in 1971.
THE ENGINE AND OTHER THINGS;
SMALL EXTERIOR, BIG INTERIOR: The 147’s external size was very deceptive, measuring 3.62 m or 11’10” long, 1.54 m or 5’ wide, 1.35 m or 4’5” tall and having a wheelbase of 2.22 m or 7’3”, the car was smaller than the VW Beetle, but thanks to its masterful use of space and and the engine mounted in a transverse position, something never seen in any Brazilian car up to that time, made the interior space and trunk larger than that of its competitors, the trunk had a 352 liter or 12,43 cubic feet of capacity, which was helped by the fact that the spare tire was placed on top of the engine and thus didn't took any space away from the luggage.
DESIGN / FACELIFTS / NEW GENERATIONS;

2024.05.12 20:05 AhmetYusuf9821 NFS Heat is the Worst of Franchise?

I have started playing need for speed games since my childhood, when I was 4 years old I started my journey with NFS hot pursuit 2 in my playstation 2. Then there was NFS underground series, which is still the most played in all franchise. There were also other games such as need for speed RUN, Rivals, the ones that did not basically hit the market as other NFS games. I kept playing most of these in my playstation/phone/computer over 15 years. Most of the newbies may not understand why NFS heat is so low quality in contrast to other games in the franchise, if they have not played those games. Here I will be pointing out one by one the primary problems of the game.
  1. Early-game Cops
Most of the players find the 'cops' way too hard to deal with. And they have absolutely the right to say so. As far as I experienced, once you start playing in the night for the first time, the heat level rises way too quickly. If you only race 1 time in the whole night, you can easily go back to garage, with close to 0 profit overall. If you decide to do a second race, your heat level will rocket to 2 from 0. Obviously your start up car is not fast enough to compete with the cops in level 2, and you will very likely to just get busted/wrecked especially if you are new. The problem does not arise from the level 2 police cars being too fast and powerful, basically you are not supposed to get to heat level 2. But for some reason it takes you only 2-3 races to get there. I remember trying to get rid of that 1 stupid police car just after finishing my second race of the night, the chase lasted over for 10 minutes and I was in heat level 5 running away from corvettes in my first night with the first car of the game (I was doing pro tactics, maneuvers as I am playing over 15 years).
  1. Late-game Cops
Once your car is fast enough to pass around 300 km/h (maybe a little more than that), you are 100% safe from the cops. You just hit the gas and scatter some of the cops coming against you, and there is nothing else to stop you. Helicopter does literally nothing other than starting pursuits, rhinos are way too easy to just pass by (doing few maneuvers). Maybe I am too good for playing these games over my whole life but the point still stands.
  1. Day-Night System
It is really nice that game offers a diverse prize system. However, there is a major issue. The only difference between day and night time is there are cops and traffic in the night time. Meaning the night time is a pretty much a harder version of the day time. However, the only time you can access to money (leading to the cars and shop) is if you do the races in day time. Once you finish reputation level 50, the night time is literally pointless as it give you no money but only reputation. And if you don't speed run the game, the money you will very likely will get you at most 3-7 cars by the end of reputation 50. There are lot more to explore in car dealership, yet there are no resources to do so. From that point you can only play day time races and just throw all the police chase and traffic content to garbage because it gives you no money.
  1. The Map Itself (Obstacles)
For me there are no problems with the map itself, I enjoy it. However, the obstacles are out of another world. You can surprisingly get stuck so many times due to stupid rocks, areas with no exists (surrounded with fences etc.) and you can't do anything, you can't save yourself if your car is not flipped. Like these kinds of errors are supposed be eliminated in the testing phase of the game, but developers just did not give the frick to fix them. You literally can't find such problems in the whole NFS franchise, except NFS heat.
  1. The Progression of the Story
I honestly really enjoyed the cutscenes, and the character development. I actually felt like I was the character in the game. But also need to mention that the story is cut-off completely from rest of the game at a point because it is too short. The games such as NFS most wanted, carbon, the RUN always made me feel like the game was complete. Like you would finish the game in NFS run when you finish all the cutscenes (I guess it is a different kind of less story-based game), or the NFS carbon would just end when you defeat the last red hat guy (I of course do not remember his name), or in NFS most wanted the bosses were the content themselves, the story was always related closely to the actual gameplay. However in NFS heat, the story itself does not feel satisfying as other games. What are you doing exactly? Just hiding from few cops, secretly following them, and BMW m3 gets on the way from fricking nowhere. The whole story consists of these 3 elements. So obviously at a point you feel cut-off from the story, and actually focus on playing the game (running from the cops).
There can be lots of more problems to be listed here, but I will just confine myself with these main issues, otherwise it would take hundreds of paragraphs. I can understand why new players might not see these kind of issues, you need to play the majority of the franchise to be able to make differences between games. But I can 100% guarantee that the gameplay graphics in NFS heat is a hero. This game naturally (launched in 2019) has one of the best graphics of whole franchise, and it is a fundamental reason to play the game, and somewhat to fill the void. If NFS most wanted was launched in 2019 with unreal engine technology, it could be one of the most played games in all categories.
