Hey y'all! Quick question: what do you think my current weight is? I have lost about 20 pounds and It’s hard to recognize the changes. You know how sometimes your brain takes a while to catch up. So, any guesstimations of my weight?
Also, any tips for moving forward? Been dealing with some physical health stuff this year and because of that haven’t exercise much, but earlier I trained quite frequently.

I thought it went well, but feel unsure of where we stand. He was smiling and joking during day date. I didn’t try to kiss him as I’ve been confused so I gave him a hug at the end and he sort of looked disappointed, but I couldn’t tell and am overthinking. I reached out after he got home that night to thank him for the evening and he wished me good luck at work the next day. Haven’t heard from him since and that was three days ago. I(24M) have been texting this girl everyday(23F) for the past month and a half now and just a week and a half ago, I got confirmation that she did have feelings for me but that she's scared of these feelings because of past relationships. I'm a M20 and this was a hard topic I need to get this off my chest.
Back in 2021 when I was a college student I met this guy call let's say "Timmy" my mates was trying to get me and Timmy together Timmy is a M16 I was M17 back then.
We started dating in November the 24th 2021 it was amazing for 3 months but then he started to be an ass to me told me to help him with his situation and I did but at the end he didn't even asked to help me out with my situation.

I was so uncomfortable when Timmy stayed he played innocent all day on my birthday then out of nowhere he said "so are you and you're parents coming down tomorrow to meet my family"

I also forgot to mention he emotional blackmail me when I was still with him.

I 21F have been dating my boyfriend 21M for just under 2 years
I want to start this by saying I know snooping through phones is wrong and I feel really guilty for it but here’s kind of my explanation of why I did it
Me and my boyfriend have quite a large Friend group. There’s one girl in this group that quite often makes little comments like how attractive my boyfriend is and how I shouldn’t worry about her and his relationship because they’re just really really close friends. There was also one instance where we slept together and she just happened to sleepwalk into the room while we were doing it but it just sounded like a big coincidence how time it was.
I’ve brought the fact up that I’m uncomfortable with him speaking to her a few times, but I’ve never said that I want him to stop speaking to her because I don’t want to be that controlling kind of person but my brain got the best of me so he was at the gym to see if there was anything that she had been saying that was kind of crossing the lines a bit I looked on Snapchat and there wasn’t too much to find. There was one video where she sent a photo of her ass and said oh my God remember how small my bum used to be what she just kind of shot down and said that he wasn’t looking there and it was kind of brushed off and but apart from that there’s only one or two small little things that like friends would send to each other. I wasn’t too concerned although I would prefer he didn’t send them to her, then but when I was on there, I found something else that has upset me
So the girl in the friend group really isn’t as much of an issue that was all resolved but while on text I saw a message from a girl he was speaking to while me and him were still speaking.
(to fill in on the history at this point I had known him for six months three of those I’ve been actively flirting and admitting my feelings and he was reciprocating that that’s what it’s kind of the speaking phase)
I looked through some of their messages and a lot of the flirting he was doing with her sounded very similar to the flirting he was doing with with me at that time I know we weren’t dating so it’s not that big of a deal that he was speaking to someone else test all your options But the bit that upset me as well we were away on a group holiday. There was about 20 of us away me and him slept together (I was his first) and and after that seven of them continued travelling while the rest of us went home once he got back to the UK he then messaged this girl saying that he had got back and hope she was doing well with a x on the end
Fast forward nearly 2 years I’ve gone on to look on his phone and saw this messages. There’s been no contact after that message he had said after we slept together, but I’m still the fact that he had her after we had slept together and the fact that she didn’t reply I don’t know if he , chose not to speak to her or he just chose me because she didn’t reply
So my question is should I tell him that on his phone so should I bring up the fact that the girl in her friend group has been a bit flurry and I don’t like it or should I bring up the fact that he was still speaking to a girl when we were sleeping together before we got together or should I just let bygones be bygones since it was two years ago even though knowing this information is driving me a bit crazy

Greetings all!
So, here I am, post-divorce, trying to rebuild my empire. My stepdad showed me an auction site to get returned items or estate sales so I could save a few bucks. Well lo and behold, I stumbled across a dual tap Black and Decker kegerator (linked) with everything minus kegs! Nothing was provided but the description and I ended up winning the auction and got this for $250!
I took it home and noted some damage to the cardboard and styrofoam but thought nothing of it. Fast forward a couple of weeks and this thing is busted to high-heaven. The front door is dented and cannot shut, the front corners of the fridge are dented, and the power chord is going to need new ground. Yes, I have taken it apart but I'm not confident at all that there is any hope in salvaging this!
So my question is simply this: does anyone know where I could buy JUST the fridge? I don't care if it's B&D but finding a 6.1 cu ft beer fridge ready to go is, so far, impossible! Reaching out to the community for some help on this. Looking for thoughts, opinions, and anything else out there.

DFV just poking fun at bears here no doubt.

Then with Mad Max: Fury Road we have a film about a post apocalyptic survivor in Max Rockatansky who eventually brings down a warlords Citadel (hmmm).

Speculation: The whistling is synonymous with Omar and is to the tune of a nursery rhyme, "the farmer in the dell", anyone that watched The Wire would know instantly that this means Omar is coming and this means you best get out the way as he is coming with his double-barreled shotgun and he certainly won't hesitate to use it. The Kingsmen scene where they are locked in the pub is a particularly violent scene and it's an interesting film to reference, the plot *Film spoiler here* is essentially about a boy named Eggsy from a lower-class neighbourhood who's father dies and he finds out that his father was part of an elite inner circle of upper class. After trying to be part of this group, Eggsy discovers their secret plot to take over the world and takes it into his own hands to save the day. u/ ThePhenomNoku talks about the last 2 referenced films; "So the anime is demon slayer. It’s about a kid who has everything taken from him and trains to learn how to fight demons. Though as a sidenote he kind of carries one around with him. It’s complicated.The other movie with the guy holding the person, & the fight scene is the original Oldboy, and without giving too much of the plot away it’s about a dude who is falsely imprisoned for a couple of years or so, and then enacts his revenge."

Speculation: In Oceans 11 there was a lot of planning and variables that had to happen for everything to work. It was a high risk high reward plan with a lot set up to go against but it's possible. The target has always been "just up", DFV just reiterating what he said in the first place.

Speculation: Of course with the loophole stuff it could be about all of the DD that has been done on what has gone on over the years but it could equally be about SHFs finding loopholes to get out of the mess they are in with the stock. The second part the judges clearly don't feel the attempt of the cheerleading or gymnastics piece they are portraying is any good but they are giving it a go and it's suppose to a comedy. Note the school is the cougars, cat links again of course.

Speculation: Batman was of course a good hero who would rid the streets of criminals, they would scare just at the sight of the batman signal being fired knowing that they were about to get wrecked. In this clip, two years has been replaced with three years in the monologue and the kitty signal is of course a nice touch.

Speculation: I think it's best just to give the description of what happens in this scene taken from the fandom page. Elliot chooses to sit down with the friend in the dungeon. He lights a match and reads the note "Don't leave me here." Elliot chooses to stay. The alarm shuts off. An explosion happens nearby. Robot opens the door to find a fire raging outside. He concludes it's too late. Both of them sit down. They each say "I love you." Explosions rage around the room. "It's an exciting time in the world," Elliot says. Fade to red. Take from that what you will.

A lot of the text has been changed but to summarize, one person states "he is making a requel" then there is some talk about the squeeze movie that came out last year and how most people in the actual know hated it and how "squeeze mid" pissed on their "covidhood", how the main character is a mary sue? Then a few cuts of Scream and how real squeeze movies have meta slasher whodunnits and that to some people the original is their favorite thing in the world
Speculation: A requel is A movie which revisits the subject matter of an earlier film but is not a remake or a linear continuation of its plot (i.e. a sequel or prequel). So essentially what is happening right now with the stock is not exactly the same of what has happened before but it is essentially a revisit of the same subject regarding squeezes. A mid squeeze implies that it wasn't as high as the squeeze could have gone and the theme of slashers and murdered people really suggests heads will roll (SHFs hopefully).

Speculation: Time is running out for the bear, they can hang around for a while longer but they will be the victim. This is more of the DFV is coming for you as he dresses himself up as a rampaging murderer targeting the bear in this case. Not sure on the bee, whether that is DFV just having some fun or if it's that a sting is coming in some sense.

Speculation: DFV putting himself into the mode of Anton from No Country for Old Men is quite the statement. For those who haven't seen this movie, Anton is a wrecking ball of a killer and adheres by his rulebook to seek out different people through the movie to take out. Carson being the desperate short seller here who is not understanding why DFV isn't just playing by the usual financial rules and taking his gains and going. The phone ringing at end could be an implication of margin calls ringing for the desperate short seller.

One thing about him is that he never misses a day of gym. Even when we met on Christmas, I really wanted to watch a movie with him at home, but he told me he had to go to the gym. Anyways, he reached her house around 6 and I called him at 10, and he was still at her house. I asked him if his friend was still there with them and he told me that he had to leave early. I asked him why he missed gym, his excuse was that he had too many brownies and his stomach would hurt. We fought about this and eventually I had to get over this too. Fast forward a couple of months, we decided to go for clubbing and he invited his female friend too. We were commuting in 2 cars. He was with his female friend, another friend of his and one of my friends while I went in the other car. They reached before I did. While I was on the way, my friend called me and told me that my boyfriend and his female friend went to the bathroom together, and like kept going together. His other friend asked my friend if they were going to “f” each other and that he could sense a vibe. I reached the club and started noticing things myself. But ofc he didn’t want her to get lost. Anyways currently they’re still friends and meet one on one. Till now I’d never asked him to distance himself from anyone, not even her. But everything that has happened keeps bothering me. It’s like I’m living with a dark cloud over my head just waiting for something to go wrong. I never had a problem with my partner having friends of the opposite gender, but there have to be boundaries. I’ve made it very clear how uncomfortable this relationship of his makes me. But he chooses to do nothing about it. His defence is that they’re just friends and he can’t just “throw people out like trash” I never asked him to do that. Luckily, Martine was already not listening. “He’s here,” she whispered, sliding off the bench seat. After picking up her silk shawl, she partially opened our front door. Footsteps coming up our front steps stopped at what I presumed was the top step.
Beaming, she opened the door and invited him in. The man who entered had to duck to get in and I had to stop myself for apologizing to him. He was well dressed, looked like the proverbial “million dollars” and as he bent to give Martine a kiss on the cheek, I saw his eyes.
I froze for a moment, staring at the wrinkles around his eyes. Inhaling sharply, I blinked and shifted my gaze to Martine. She’d described Baylun as mature for his age. She’d failed to tell me he was at least middle age. That may sound ageist and I’m sorry for that but Martine and I are both 22 years old and Baylun looked twice that. He might be kind and, as Martine mentioned more than once, rich, but he might also be constantly on the lookout for a younger model than the one currently on his arm. Far be it from me to pass judgment without proof, but I would need more than Martine’s affirmation to feel comfortable with him as a roommate.
Introductions were short if not sweet. Baylun extended his hand and shook mine, which gave me some relief. If he’d kissed my hand I would undoubtedly have done nothing except internally cringe.
“Are you ready?” he asked, looking first at Martine who nodded enthusiastically. Then he looked at me and raised his eyebrows as if waiting for a reply. My jaw dropped, in real time.
Martine stared at me for half a second before jumping in to save me. “Lise was just getting her sweater, right, Lise?”
Thanks for covering for me, Martine. My plans for the night included pjs as soon as you guys left, but how could I say no? Except for flat out saying “No” which would be unthinkable.
“Right, I forgot it, and where are we going?” I squished in behind Martine, reached into the closet and took the top sweater from the neatly folded pile in the sweater drawer.
Baylun made a noise that was probably meant to sound like laughter. “Heddon’s Hill. To see the stars. Cloudless night tonight!”
Martine clapped her hands a couple of times, giving me a jolt of second-hand embarrassment. “Baylun asked me to keep it a secret. He brought a bottle of really good wine. It’s in his car, right, babe?”
Baylun didn’t say anything as he put his hand on her cheek like she was a child. She stared at him, as if in a trance. He didn’t purr audibly but that’s the best way I can describe his facial expression. Then I looked him in the eyes and the silence that followed hurt my ears.
A wave of panic immobilized me. I looked away and struggled to put on the sweater.
When he spoke, he whispered but it felt like thunder to my ears. “Perhaps a heavier outer layer?”
Martine snapped back into reality. “You look cold. Grab a hoodie, we’ll meet you in the car.”
That was the out I needed. “You know what, I feel awful. Go ahead, enjoy. I’ll take cold meds and try to be awake when you get back, to hear all about it.” To convey sadness at missing out on being a third wheel and resigned acceptance of impending illness, I grimaced and shrugged.
Martine considered me for a moment before agreeing. She leaned gently against Baylun’s arm and squeezed his hand. “Could we be back in an hour, babe?”
He turned his full attention on her and nodded. “Yes. We will. Goodbye, Lise.”
I thought about saying goodbye and decided a coughing fit would be more suitable. As I covered my mouth with my left elbow, I waved weakly with my right hand. The two lovebirds got into the car and when I heard it backing down the driveway, I poured a couple of teaspoons of night time anti-cold liquid down the sink. To make sure I smelled like I’d taken it, I licked the spoon before washing it.
When they returned, Martine walked in at a slower pace than usual and Baylun put his arm under hers as soon as they were both inside, so she could lean on him. She didn’t seem upset. She also didn’t make eye contact with me. My first thought was she had a bit too much wine, but we’ve had drinks together. She’s always been a little louder, a little more animated after a bit of alcohol. I started wondering if she’d consumed something other than wine while stargazing. Not judging, just trying to find an explanation that didn’t scare me about her health.
Instead of speaking to me, Baylun nodded and continued supporting Martine, helping her through the house. I reasoned he was taking her to the bathroom or her bedroom, so I squeezed in beside him and ran to open her bedroom door. Baylun led her to the far side of her bed so he was facing me, and helped her to lie down.
Except he didn’t lay her down right away. He held her halfway between standing and lying down, stared into my eyes and put his mouth on her neck.
I know how this sounds. My brain undoubtedly recognized the set-up. Yet I was unprepared for what happened.
Baylun retracted his lips, revealing two bloody fangs and touched Martine’s neck as if searching for something. Just before his fingers found them, I saw two wounds on her neck. He positioned his fingers so his fangs went into the wounds. Martine shuddered for a second, then sighed and stopped moving.
I inhaled sharply. Nothing made sense and I couldn’t remember how to move. When I realized my hand was still on the door handle, I leaned on it slightly, turned and ran to the front door.
Baylun met me there. I didn’t hear him walking or running. He wasn’t at the door and then he was, positioned to prevent me from opening it. He wasn’t frowning. He didn’t lean towards me or touch me, for which I was grateful.
But his eyes. They sparkled, they were bright and lively, and they were wrinkle-free. He looked my age, not middle aged. He looked like the guy I’d met an hour earlier, only younger.
I took a step backwards.
He took a step forward and spoke, his voice quiet and calm.
“If you say anything to her about what you saw, I will deny it and she will believe me. Then I will show you what it’s like to burn in hell.”
This was the second time in one night life handed me a “get out of trouble” card and I grabbed it with both hands. Frowning with the hopes of presenting as confused, I asked, “Okay, I thought it was very kind of you to bring her home, but I think I get it. What’s our story if she asks?”
He crossed his arms and studied me for a long moment. “I’m glad you understand. You can take credit for getting her into bed.”
I nodded and brought my left hand to my mouth, trying to look thoughtful. “And you asked her to text when she gets up tomorrow? Or is that too much?”
He chuckled and uncrossed his arms. “That’s just what I was thinking.” He stared at my mouth.
A rush of fear froze me in place. “Everything okay?”
“It will be.” He pointed at the right side of my mouth.
A sharp pain on the side of my face woke me up. It was still dark. I was in my bed. I tried sitting up and learned my pillowcase was stuck to the corner of my mouth.
Instant panic. I picked up the pillow and ran to the bathroom where a quick glance in the mirror above the sink revealed the substance wasn’t glue, it was blood. As awful as that was, my initial reaction was “Better than glue.” A little warm water on a face cloth eased the pillowcase off my skin and I set the case and face cloth on the counter.
For a brief moment I felt absolute relief. I held onto the sides of the sink and took a deep breath.
A drop of blood landed on the right side of the sink.
Blood could be from biting my lip, or inside of my cheek or even my tongue in my sleep. Or a nosebleed.
Another drop of blood landed on the sink.
It was so weird. Nothing hurt. Not my nose, not my lip, not my tongue. I struggled to figure out what I did, why I would be bleeding. Did I do something foolish before I went to bed?
I couldn’t remember going to bed.
Time to look in the mirror. There wasn’t any obvious damage, so I used my fingers to move my lips away from the right side of my mouth.
My canine tooth was missing. Another, sharper tooth was working its way out of the gums. That’s where the blood was coming from.
I leaned in and looked more closely at it. The emerging canine was definitely tearing through the gum, making it bleed.
A scream worked its way up my throat. I stood up, ramrod straight, shut my mouth and gently placed the face cloth on it.
I tiptoed down the hall to Martine’s bedroom door. It was shut. She was breathing in a regular pattern, not quite snoring.
I came back to my bedroom and checked my phone. 4:45 AM. When did I come to bed? Baylun was here, I remembered him with Martine and then at the door. Seems like he’s gone, unless he’s sitting in the dark in the living room or kitchen.
Any other day, Martine would be waking up in two hours. If she does, I don’t doubt she’ll be excited to hear Baylun wants her to text him.
I want to throw up. A few hours ago, life felt so normal. Now a giant canine tooth is pushing its way into my mouth. Maybe the other one is, too. I don’t care to find out. I also don’t want to go to the hospital where I’ll run out of answers before the staff run out of questions.
Maybe I can take a couple of days off work, see if the new dental situation affects my sleep schedule. Maybe I can find a night job.
Or maybe I’m a vampire, condemned to a life of hunting humans and being hunted by humans. I’m going to wait until Martine gets up before posting this. She might have a lot more information on this.
My mind is clearer now. My memories are back. It’s time for me to disappear from Martine’s and my Aunt Gloria’s lives. I can do it. I must do it. For their safety, and for mine. Everything is not okay. Not yet.

Long story short. I (24 M) have/was seeing this guy (25 M) for a year now who I met off of Grindr. At one point we were hanging out with each other every week, met each other families, planned to live together in the future, said we loved each other, the whole nine yards. I felt like we were building towards a relationship however he never wanted to be exclusive until he started his nursing program for school and gave me hope that he would be open to a committed relationship once he started school so he wanted me to wait for him.
He also imposed the boundary that we could not have sex with other people, which was fine. Unfortunately, within the last couple months I feel like he has become distant and neglectful in our relationship as I always felt like I was the one trying to see him, calling him more then he call me, planned our dates etc and i generally felt like he was taking me for granted and feeling unappreciated. An example was that I am in Grad school and asked him to plan something to celebrate since I finished my first year of school and he only gave me the excuse that he "Wasn't in the celebration mood." Of why he couldn't do it.
Anyway, I brought these feelings up to him, and he always expressed that he would treat me better and put in more effort. However, I feel like he never did it consistently, and I was tired of bringing my feelings up as I was tired of him not even doing the bare minimum. Anyway, the last time we saw each other, we got drunk cried and got into an argument where I suggested we break up due to these feelings. He didn't want to break up and wanted to keep going, giving me hope again, and I agreed to stay if he was able to remain consistent. (He expressed my emotions also ruined the day for him.)
Fast forward to last Friday he finally got accepted into his nursing program for school, and I wanted to celebrate with him since I knew he was off this weekend. I texted him around 4 when he got off to make plans to see him, and he was beating around the bush in confirming my plans, and then he stopped texting all together. I figured he went to sleep because he was tired from work. Well, around 9, I go on grindr because I was bored and saw his profile in my city saying that he was 2 miles away from me. (We live 30 minutes away from each other in 2 different cities, so why are you in my city at night?)
So i screenshot his profile, texted him, and called him on why he has a profile in my city around 9. He ignored my phone call and did not text me back until 12 that night asking me why I am on Grindr anyway (The difference being is that I always been transparent that I was on the app looking to make gay friends since I have none in my city. Plus, I ALWAYS told him when I was in his city. So why was he being sneaky? As he told me, he deleted his account)
He said he was "Riding around with a friend" and that I'm acting like he was fucking when he was just looking on the app. Truthfully I didn't care because it was the principle of it that you went all afternoon not texting me and couldn't even confirm plans with me yet you're riding around with some random that you never even talked about before. If i didn't even catch him on Grindr then i know he wouldn't have told me he was in my city and that's why i had to end it. Like what else have you been doing that I don't know about?
Anyway, after I broke up with him, I unadded him from social media, and he blocked my number and tik tok. I thought about texting him from my friend snapchat or text now to reconcile but idk if I should. I feel like he played me and I hate how a year of my life with someone who i thought was my best friend went to us being blocked. I so badly wished he gave me a rational explanation of why he was on the app as I do care for him, but caring about someone shouldn't lead to me being hurt.

I'm honestly thinking (hoping?) that this is just a really poorly worded blog post. But on the off chance it really does mean what it says on the surface....whoa boy.

TLDR; my ex treated me terribly and I’m still trying to get over it.
This isn’t something I would normally post but I am hoping it’ll be cathartic for me. This might be a long one and a bit of a mess so feel free to skip if you’re not interested in the read.
I 28f up until last August I was in a relationship with who we’ll call ‘M’ 24f for almost 2 years. We met on hinge. In general I’m very shy and not very confident person, and definitely new to dating as I spent most of my teens and early 20’s in the closet due to internalized homophobia. So I don’t have much experience dating. That context is important for the story. By all accounts, M was probably out of my league, (that’s what I told myself, again I have zero self confidence ) she was attractive, smart, came from a good family and on the surface a nice girl. The beginning the relationship was fine, she was in uni for medicine and her school schedule was pretty demanding. We’d only see each other maybe one every month in the beginning of the relationship, I understood she was busy with school and honestly I was still feeling lucky that she chose me to date.
A few months go by and we still remain only seeing each other once a month because her school schedule was so demanding. This is when the red flags start to wave, her school schedule was so demanding yet she was in multiple choirs that she would sing in once a week. She made time for choir but when I asked to hang out I was made to feel like a bother. Plus she played DND with at least 2 different groups of people.
Early in the relationship we were in her car after she dropped me off I asked if we could see each other a little more and she had a strange reaction, I didn’t want to seem needy so I backed off and later apologized via text. She responded with; “sometimes I just like to be alone.” Which as an introvert; I get 100%, so I let it be. But like….we only saw each other once a month as it was…..how could you possibly be alone any more??? I was always the one to ask to hang out, always. And every time I did I would sheepishly ask if she had some free time that weekend to hang out, because I felt like such a bother to her. I’m not exaggerating when I say we would easily go 3-5 weeks without seeing each other in person. We would text every day. But seeing her in person was a luxury. But don’t worry she always had time for choir every single week. Twice a week. Or DND. But seeing her girlfriend was too much strain on her school schedule.
I was always the one to text first. Whether it was good morning, or saying good night. Later in the relationship I wouldn’t text her just to see how long it would take her to text me that day, most time it wasn’t until 3-4 pm that I heard from her.
We never had sex, we barely even kissed.(which isn’t really important to me but damn). It was so difficult to have alone time with her so there was quite literally never an opportunity for intimacy. Towards the end of our relationship we would watch the bachelorette with her mom at her place, so we never had alone time for the last 3 months of dating.
For both valentines days we were together I sent flowers and chocolate to her house. She didn’t get me anything. For my 27th birthday we went out with my friends, and a small part of me wondered if she would offer to pay for my meal. Nope. She also didn’t get me a birthday gift or even a card. Flash forward to Christmas I get her a 250$ makeup palette that she always talked about and a blanket from her favourite K-Pop band. I got an xbox gift card and a cookbook. I need to emphasize that I DO NOT CARE ABOUT presents, I just literally wanted any sort of acknowledgment that she cared about me at all. I also feel the need to point out she has money, both her parents are lawyers and they are very well off and she gets paid to go to school because her field is very specialized. I was raised by a single mother and while I have my own career now, I’m far from rich. But I always went above and beyond to make her feel special and she did the bare minimum. Sometimes not even the bare minimum. This next one really bothered me; its my 28th birthday and I hadn’t mentioned it was coming up. A sick part of me wanted to see if she would remember, I know it’s stupid to test people in a relationship but I was genuinely curious to see if she would remember. It comes the day of my birthday, and I don’t hear from her until 3:30 pm. “Happy Birthday!” That was it. I was floored. A couple days later she managed to squeeze me into her schedule and we go out for dinner. Again, didn’t pay for my meal. For her birthday we went to a nice restaurant and I paid for the entire fucking thing it was almost 150$. Don’t worry she got me an xbox gift card though……..
But the worst part, beyond not seeing each other was how she treated me and made me feel. In the beginning she was very nice and kind, but slowly I think her true colours came out. She’s very smart, but she needs to be right all the time. Like literally every single conversation she needs to come out as right. I was never allowed to have my own opinions, she would make me feel stupid and correct me every time. I’m a bit of a goof and like to be silly, but she would look at me like I was an idiot, if I did a pretend British accent she would criticize it and tell me to stop. In the end I felt like a shell of myself. I was terrified to say something stupid. She would call out every single thing I did, if I merged a lane early while driving, called out (that actually happened). If I wiped my mouth after every bite, called out. If I said something she would have to google it to prove she was right or at least prove that I was wrong.
I would participate in her family activities, like birthdays and holidays. Side note: her family is lovely. I got especially close with her mom. Her mother is a sweetheart, a lovely human being and she treated me better than her daughter ever did. Her mom and I even snap chatted every day. M wouldn’t open my snaps for days and I could see when she was online. As weird as it might seem, I would have rather hung out with her mom than her. There were a couple times when we were with her mom, that M would call me out on something trivial and even her own mother was picking up on the vibes.
I had convinced myself I really liked this person, once I told her I loved her. Why, I’ll never know. She responded with “thanks, I’m not there yet but thanks for telling me.” I was gutted. I didn’t love her. I never did. In the end I hated her.
I would lie to my friends about her and say I was happy, my mom liked her which was the worst part because it would break her heart if she knew how I was feeling and being treated. I would make it seem like I was happy and she was this lovely person, but deep down I was dying. Towards the end of our relationship I was hanging out with a good friend of mine and someone who helped me a lot through my journey of accepting my identity as a lesbian. She asked me about my relationship and how it was going, and I honestly couldn’t say anything positive. This was the first time I was honest with someone in my life about how unhappy I was and I wasn’t sure how to process it.
Eventually she broke up with me; she said she felt like she made me nervous and that I cared about her more than she cared about me. Initially it hurt, and I felt bad. But after an hour, I wanted to do a freaking backflip. I was elated to be free. For the past 2 years I had felt like less of myself than I had ever been. It was the worst 2 years mentally of my life. I had twisted myself up into this sheepish person who just felt lucky to be chosen by someone. My self worth was so low that I thought this was the relationship I deserved, that I would never find anyone else and I should just be grateful that she chose me.
As the title says I’m still trying to recover and heal. It’s been about 9 months since I last saw her and I’m working on myself. That relationship showed me how compromised my mental health was and that I need to take care of myself. I have been seeing a therapist. Now don’t get me wrong I have struggled with mental health my entire life, but those 2 years were the worst of it. I’m not dating right now because I want to focus on myself and my personal goals first.
I still feel very embarrassed for how I let her treat me and embarrassed that I didn’t know the relationship was toxic. If anything I learned a lot from this experience.
If you have made it this far props to you because this was kind of a hot mess and wayyy too long. But it’s been bothering me even more lately and I guess I just felt like this might help. Even if no one reads it.
She didn’t want a relationship, I don’t know what she wanted. She used school as a buffer to limit the amount she saw me. I feel bad for the next person she dates and I hope they come to their senses quicker than I did. I deleted her off everything and I hope to never see her again. In closing, I fucking hate her guts.

I (20M) began dating my now ex gf (23F) [I’ll call her J] around last July. J and I met at college and had been really close friends for about a year and I always had a fondness towards her. I hadn’t thought of her romantically really since she was actually in a 3-4yr relationship w/ someone else when we first met.
Anyways, we start dating after they broke up in May and it was amazing and I was as happy as I’d ever been. We didn’t have any issues except for one moment in August where J felt as though I was insulting an insecurity of her’s when what I was trying to do is say that I don’t care about her insecurieties at all because they don’t matter to me. Then sometime around September I get into an accident that makes it so I have to be home for a month to recover from surgery. I was going to be mostly stuck in a wheelchair up until November and was worried about how I was going to be able to move around campus but J reassured me that she’d be there for me as much as she could.
Within a week of being back on campus, J was being off and then after hanging out with each other for the whole weekend, texted me saying that we should break up because I’m “too good for [her]” and it’s unfair that we be in a relationship while she “processes her last breakup.” I was sad to hear this but respected her for making that choice. It gets a little confusing because 1 day later she asks if we can get back together because she realizes that I’m who she mostly hangs out with since most of her friends graduated. I said no because it felt off for her to want to breakup and then immediately ask to get back together. I should add that J expressed that once she was done processing her last breakup she would really like to explore a relationship again.
J pushed to stay friends (even though I suggested us not interacting for a certain amount of time could be good for our new relationship dynamic). I agreed to us still chatting as friends but I also asked that if things ever felt somewhat romantic that we should be open and honest about it to each other.
Fast forwarding, J started mistreating me A LOT towards the end of the year. J would resort to getting easily frustrated w/ me and then screaming and cursing at me. She would offer to help transport me with my wheelchair and then make remarks that made me feel guilty about using it. She started to sort of drift away from hanging out w/ me and when I confronted her about it, she’d claim that I was “being crazy.”
Around December things especially got bad. Turns out she suddenly started remembering that moment in August and “could no longer forgive me for it” which felt super weird and random to bring up months later. She claimed this was the reason we could never be in a relationship again and added on that she “needs years to understand herself before exploring a romantic relationship w/ anybody”. I was sad to hear this but I was also happy to hear that she was going to take some time to work on herself since she had expressed wanting to do that in the past.
I later found out that she started seeing someone new just a few weeks after all that and I was informed that she had actually started talking to the new guy a solid 2 weeks before the messages we exchanged which sort of makes it feel as though she wasn’t being honest with me in the 1st place.
Overall she expressed she didn’t want to be friends anymore because my “expectations are too high”. Then a month later she reaches out for me to add her back on a mobile game we both play even though I explained that I felt that was weird given our new dynamic. Then I come to find out J has resorted to trying to label me as a person who “disrespects people’s boundaries and makes her feel unsafe”. She reached out to a mutaul friend asking if he could help walk her to and from her car whenever she and I were at the same place.
She went as far as taking a letter that I had written to her privatley and waving it around at a party she hosted where she even read it out loud to those attending. She makes up stories about things I’ve said to her or about her. I truly care for this girl and so I have not resorted to talking smack about her to others because I feel she doesn’t deserve that.
I have since gotten campus police involved so that she can’t contact me and have had to now explain to mutual friends what is going on since everyone is so confused on why she’s trying to paint me as this villain who treats people terribly and only is nice as a facade. I do my best to not have her seem as this completely bad person to others since I don’t feel she deserves that, yet the majority consensus after people have heard both of our sides is that she seems to be “projecting her feelings onto me” and appears to be “vindictive”.

I broke up with my boyfriend of 6 months for good today and sort of 3 days back. So what do I mean by "sort of" if you might be wondering, I'll give a brief about my relationship. He was a bestie friend from her old school and we started texting after he found me cute in one of the snaps my bestfriend sent. We had been talking for a year,but he had confessed his feelings from the beginning but I had rejected him cause I never met this guy before and all I knew about him was his online persona. Throughout the year we were good friends I went on a date with another guy And he was interested in a few girls but none of which worked out. My "date" obviously didn't work out and he kept trying his shot with me even though I rejected him multiple times until finally I agreed to meet up with him once. Well to say the least I liked his personality after we met up and we started going on a few dates and eventually started dating. He said 'I love you' to me since the first date which I kind of found weird but chose to ignore as different people experiencing emotions differently. Fast forward the first month was everything I ever wanted all sunshines and rainbows and things started going south from the next. It started with him being very distracted during calls and not paying attention or moody which I was bothered by and it wasn't a once or twice kind of thing it went on for MONTHS regardless of me expressing my dislike (might i add i dont usually do calls but i wanted to do it with him). It started off with small things like that and gradually our arguments increased to being weekly then daily. He used to do and say shit apologizes promise to be better and repeat. It was a LOOP. Recently it was our 6 months and we almost decided to break up once but he promised to be better so we didn't. Our 6 months was supposed to be magical we had everything planned out a good hotel a fine dining and all. He pulls out a promise ring and promises to be better and a huge ass speech the same night he told me that realistically a future between us won't be possible cause his mom won't agree. I was devastated it's not like I didn't know but you didn't have to point it out on a day that was special to us? Right after you gave me a promise ring??. We argued and I wanted to leave and go back home but he wouldn't let me in the process of stopping me he was forceful and accidentally ended up shoving me causing me to fall and hurt my back.i started crying cause I was shocked. He apologized but I was traumatized. We sorted? Things out that week and in the weekend I opened up to him about my past and family trauma after his constant pestering and we had Intercourse. Might I add this was my first relationship and I was a virgin but he wasn't and it wasn't even his first relationship. The arguing never stopped though even after despite him knowing that I was going through shit in life and it got worse to the point I had to beg him to not be insensitive for a day. Last weekend we argued again obviously but what he said this time hurt me the most. After we did the deed again and when I told him it was hurting for me, he told me "you didn't even do anything for it to hurt" For context. I have an undiagnosed illness that I'm still figuring out what it is. It makes my abdomen pain and I often times faint due to the pain audit has been going on for a year. 1st of all, English is not my first language, so I humbly ask you to forgive my grammar and some mistakes.
A bit of context:
My brother C(52 M) and I(39 M) were never close:

• We are half-brothers. We don't have the same dad(our mother N(70 F) and his dad divorced when he was 4 years old, because he cheated several times) and for many years he always made a point to say that we were half-brothers. I never had this issue with our sister (he and she have the same dad).
• We have a big age gap: 13 years with him and 10 years with our sister;
• He has the idea that since he is the oldest we should exactly what he wants and give absolute respect.
• I'm not as lenient with him as my parents. It's a very long story, but my parents always gave in with demands and tantrums over the years (I think that our mom feels guilty for the divorce.), on the other side, I imposed limits and won't budge.

In short, we are cordial, but I wouldn't say that I love him as brother.
Unfortunately, this divide was passed on to his 3 children: D(29M), A(24F) & M(18M). Since they are little, our mom and I tried to have a good relation with them but I don't think it worked.
Although my oldest nephew D(29M) were close when he was little (we actually played together.). We are in good terms but we're not close.
I always felt closer and protective of the youngest M(18M) since I always noticed that he was more like me and my brother was harsher with him since his childhood (He wasn't planned and I heard my SIL and brother say it out loud several times, and not in a good way.). :(
This post is about my youngest nephew M(18 M):
When he had an issue with his parents, he would come up to me and my mom asking for help. (For example, his phone number was included on our carrier because my brother didn't want to pay a mobile phone tariff with internet included. He said it was expensive.).
2 years ago, my nephew, asked me if I could help him with his inscription on a gym, he needed a bank account number for his inscription and his parents didn't want to give theirs. So I helped (due to his health he needs it), but I told him that if money was taken of my bank account, because of him, he would have to pay me back and he agreed.
Last year the finished school and I helped him get a job where I worked, and since my workplace was very close to my house and we had the same schedule, he came to live with my mom and me. We talked and told him that we wanted 100€/month to help with the house expenses. Actually, my mom and I planned to give him back that money later, when he would buy a car. We just wanted him to gain responsibility, but he never gave us any money.
Since he was far from his gym, he went there to stop his membership. I warned him to careful and check if he had a binding period with the gym, he told me that he didn't. The following day, he told me that it was done, and that I could block the bank withdrawals, just in case. I must confess, that I'm not sure if I blocked them or not, but I'm almost sure I did it. Well a few months ago, I was checking my bank balance and noticed several withdrawals from the gym, the total sum up to about 250€.
I talked to him, and he told me that he would handle it and ask for a refund. For several weeks, I asked him if he had news and he always evaded the question or told me that he was busy. I immediately became suspicious of the situation, but I gave him some space to resolve the issue, since it could be a great learning experience and I also wanted to see how he would handle it.
After a few months of living with my mom and me, he got his driver's license, and the next day he went back to his parent's house. I wasn't surprised, in fact, I was expecting it, he already bought his car and his behavior showed that we wasn't happy here with us. A few weeks later, I found another job, and we don't see each other every day, as before.
After I insisted several times, he finally went to the gym, and ... The membership cancellation wasn't validated, and he doesn't remember if they gave him proof of cancellation. (I have a very good friend that works with that gym and he told me that as pear their procedure they should have given him a proof of cancellation.) I don't know if my nephew lost it or if the gym didn't give him one, the result is the same the money cannot be refunded.
Now I sent him 2 texts (that he read) that I wanted to talk to him about this issue, but he didn't answer me. I didn't confront him and his father with it and I don't think I will. I know that those kind of situations always end up becoming a drama with them where they are the victims and I will end up in square one: without the refund.
I feel quite disappointed with him. I realized that he's just like my brother, ungrateful and acts like they never do nothing wrong. If he were straight forward with me and asked me to pay me later or even in installments, I think I would have even forgive him the money.
But now, I'm going to be as close as NC as possible and I don't think I will help him ever again. One day, when he'll need my help, I will remember him about this matter and tell him that he burns that bridge a long time ago. I can be quite cold sometimes when want to.
