Hello 👋 I just recently started taking lessons again after an 11 year break, I have decided to change disciplines from dressage to huntejumper with the hopes to eventually get into eventing. I found a lovely trainer that works great for me- strict but very patient and happy to remind me that I’m not riding dressage every 30 seconds like I need since I’m fighting old instinct. However, I am struggling with the soreness for almost the full week between lessons and I’m wondering if anyone has any tips besides walking it out and stretching that help out?

Hi, I've been a Corki main since S10, and I've held a ~62% winrate in over 400 games over that time period. I'm writing this post because Corki is about to get reworked and while the rework isn't absolutely horrible, the issue with Corki in pro play is misdiagnosed. TLDR: the issue with Corki in pro is not and has never been because of package. It is solely because of the AP Poke Corki build.
History:
On patch 5.22, Corki was reworked to add Package on his passive (on a 300 second cooldown). On patch 6.15, the package cooldown was reduced to 240s, and then stayed in the same form for ~6 years until 12.3, when it nerfed back to a 300s cooldown and a 2 minute delayed spawn.
Corki has been a on and off pick in pro play for the last few years now. From S6-S11, he was meta from time to time, hitting up 28% presence in S6 (combined mid+adc), S7, and S9, but being mostly unpicked S8, S10, and S11. During this same period of time, he was always a strong solo queue pick, usually hovering between 52% and 56% winrate mid, but with a low pick rate, and always built AD. In season 12, the AP Poke Corki build (Ludens + Tiamat + First Strike) was discovered in pro play, and was quickly picked up by solo queue players. His solo queue winrate dropped spectacularly to hover around 47%, but he was still decent with the AD build in solo queue. AP Corki was nerfed in patch 12.13, and disappeared from pro play (while also being relatively weak in solo queue) until S14. In S14, the newly released items led to another AP Malignance + Eclipse build, which once again terrorized pro play, and Corki was hit with more package nerfs.

On AP Poke Corki:
It's way better in coordinated play than solo queue and has been for years, it's always ~4-5% lower winrate in solo queue. When the AP Corki build first started being played in pro, his winrate crashed in solo queue. The reason the playstyle is good in pro is because you actually get proper setup before teamfights at drakes and stuff, while in solo queue you have to be ready to fight whenever. Teams also won't wait for you to poke, or even play around package, even in high diamond. Imo package also doesn't synergize well with poke Corki, because once you use it, you can't poke anymore, and you're usually in an awful position. This is more fine on AD Corki because you can usually nuke their mid/adc and trade when you go in, but on poke, dueling power sucks so you lose more often/get run down. Also, if you dont land rockets on the backline, you're basically useless, since you can't really deal with tanks. If you land your rockets on AP Corki, you deal ridiculous amounts of damage from really far, and can instantly win a teamfight for your team.
Regarding package:
Honestly, I'm relatively sympathetic to the idea that package is slightly unhealthy for the game, simply because of how powerful it is, so I understand it's removal. You can int the entire game on Corki, and have one good package, and instantly win. I'd love to hear if any pros have talked about this, but I believe that pro players have been using package incorrectly until recently. You want to use it across their entire team (often suiciding into their backline), and then using W/Flash to get away because everyone you hit is chunked hard. In the last few months, I've seen some Corkis (especially Faker and Chovy) use package this way, with a lot of success. Package is a really difficult ability to use well, because you are locked in and unstoppable as soon as you use it, and if you barely miss someone, or knock them the wrong way, it's the difference between instantly popping a carry, and them instantly popping you. I believe that ASol's transformed ult (Skies Descend) is much more unhealthy for similar reasons. However, package is not the reason why Corki is obnoxious in pro play, as he was a perfectly fine pick in pro play for 6 years, before AP Corki even existed. There will multiple years where he had the same package, but was rarely picked in pro, even while being a very strong solo queue pick.
Regarding the rework:
I believe that the R changes are quite good, and make a lot of sense to force Corki to attack to get rockets, rather than poking at 1300 range, although 4 ammo might be too few. I'm relatively neutral towards his change to physical damage. It should remove the ability to build Malignance/Ludens, which I believe are the core problem with Corki in competitive. However, the removal of package is unnecessary to Corki's ability to be a healthy solo queue and competitive pick, and removes one of the big differentiaters of skill on Corki. I'm guessing that Corki will be slightly stronger than before, but still relatively weak compared to other champions, and I hope Riot don't forget about him after the rework.
TLDR: AP Poke Corki bad (for pro play and solo queue and overall game health), package good (has not historically been the issue with Corki, and good skill expression)

I am going to apologize ahead of time this is going to be a long post because there is a lot to unpack.
So I (25m) got dumped by my ex (24f) a year ago now. Our relationship had its ups and downs over the 6 years we were together, but that didn’t change how much we loved each other.
Our relationship slowly started to go downhill after my mother passed away in 2018. I lost myself completely, I was a shell of person that I once was. The years following my mothers passing I had lost my job and became completely withdrawn. Since I didn’t have a job I also couldn’t pay my half of the rent and I refused to get a job because I barely wanted to be on this earth. I didn’t reach out to my friends or family. My ex was pretty much the only person I would talk to. But around Covid time I got really bad. I spiraled into the worst depression I’ve experienced in my 25 years on this earth. I would stay up until 9 or 10 am and sleep until around midnight. I stopped talking to my ex almost completely and we stopped hanging out. About 4 or 5 months before my ex dumped me I was severely suicidal. I would leave the house and walk around town in the middle of the night. Mind you I wouldn’t tell my ex where or what I was doing but I think she knew. I would find myself at the bridge we lived near almost every night contemplating jumping but I never did. Side note I was smoking A LOT of weed at this point that she was paying for most of the time. But then the day came.
I was sitting at home while she was at work and I got a text. It said “we need to talk”. She wanted to talk when she got home but I pushed her to just tell me. Then she said she couldn’t do this anymore. My entire world came crashing down. I never thought she would say those words. Later when she got home I did the typical begging. The only thing I really remember from that was her telling me she didn’t love me anymore. I started packing my things the next few days and moved into my friends house.

So I have a couple of questions. Do you think there is any chance we can be together again? If so what can I do that may help in doing so? If not how can I recover from absolutely fucking up our relationship and losing my soulmate (this girl was truly the one for me)? Was I right to not want to be friends with her or was that her way of rekindling our relationship? Is this even salvageable after the damage I have done? The past year has been an exceptionally hard one for a lot of reasons (I am now parentless) that end with me living in my boyfriends childhood bedroom (by the good grace of his parents) with a boyfriend that has been at the very least toeing the line on emotional abuse. We’re both in our early-mid 20s, and have been together 4.5years, most of which were pleasant. I tried breaking up with him 10 days ago, fiiiinally, after 9 straight months of the most irrational and aggressive, cruel behaviour. His parents have been so kind, but yet they will certainly never see the side of their son that I have, and will never understand. And also at least 15 other of his family members have my number and even more have my Instagram. Spooky. Oh and also all my shit is in their house. Oh and the house will be full of people until they leave from now on - no sneaking possible.
His behaviour has twice scared me to the point of asking friends to check in on me periodically through the night, yet he has never laid a hand on me or even raised one to me.

What the hell should I do?

We have a 14w (nearly 15w) old puppy, he is a Golden Retriever and Redbone Coonhound mix. We've had him since was 8w old without any issues up until recently. He was doing FANTASTIC with his training, we were having an issue with potty training in the beginning because he would never ask to go, he still doesn't sometimes we just recognize his body language and take him outside. He has done amazing with all of his other training and responds well to praise and treats and still does to this day outside of our potty issue. He was basically potty trained by 12w old but when we took him to his vet appt. for his follow up puppy shots - he's been a different dog. He will poop in his crate every single day and night now and has had on/off diarrhea since those vaccines. His food and treats have not changed, nothing new has been added to his diet, he is walked every hour and thirty minutes (sometimes sooner than that if we can tell he has to go) He is on a water and feeding schedule as well. He was in a full size kennel that we had available because our bigger dog doesn't use it and before this 12w appt. he was doing fantastic with his crate training, would occasionally pee in it if we were out for too long but thats stopped, he no longer pees in our house at all, only poops. Once he started defacating in his kennel multiple times in one night we did move down to a crate his size where he can only just lay down in, he basically has no room in his crate but will still poop in it without asking to go outside. He has also started laying in his poop! He doesn't care if poop is where he lays and eats... We now use the bigger kennel as the area he is fed in and where he can play safely when I need to do things around the house and can't watch him, it's now a play pen. During his dinner tonight he stopped eating, pooped right next to his food bowl, and went right back to eating! Never asked to go outside or anything, I was right there the entire time. I was flabbergasted... When he's not in the kennel he's leashed to me with a hands-free leash for training purposes and he will just squat and poop right next to me without asking, even if we were just outside. Keep in mind, he didn't do ANY of this before this 12w. vet appt and now he will literally poop and lay in it! He'll poop multiple times in his kennel over one night and I have to bathe him and scrub the crate first thing every day. I am 30w pregnant and I physically cannot keep this up anymore.... I physically cannot get down to bathe this pup daily, I cannot lift and scrub his crate without overexerting myself. I physically cannot handle this. Something needs to change or we may have to rehome him and we don't want that but we cannot have this issue persist for much longer with a newborn on the way. He is walked regularly, I have lost sleep for days now getting up to walk him every 1-2 hours overnight. This puppy is literally making my pregnancy a living hell for my body, my husband believes I'm going to hospitalize myself from over exertion. I walk him before feeding him, after feeding him, after naps, playtime, and after any time he gets really excited. He's on a food and water schedule. Nothing about his diet has changed. Besides grass he hasn't eaten anything he shouldn't have to upset his GI track. I've tried disinfecting with bleach, that's before I learned that's bad for him though, I've tried vinegar, pet urine & feces cleaner, puppy pads (but he'll just chew on them and try to eat them, so that's a no go) We do reward him and give him high praise when he he does poop outside. We're at a loss....... My partner and I have done literally everything I can think of and every suggestion I have found online. I've even talked to local dog trainers about my situation and they all confirm and basically tell me to do what I'm doing and to be patient but it has been nearly 3 weeks now. I know I should be talking with my partner about this but I like to lurk on the internet. So my current predicament needs some background. "Yeah, so, I am a Marine. Marine to the core. But Earth sorta got thrown into this whole clusterfuck without having a properly unified military, and instead of trying to set up a whole new service from scratch, they got the big five on the Security Council, being us, the Brits, the French, the Chinese, and the Russkis, to pitch in units. So you got Marines and Army making up the American portion of the SI, and Navy and Airforce making up our part of the fleet. Same for every country that pitched in, even some outside the UNSC." Gutierrez explained, his hands moving about animatedly. "Right now it's a hot mess because none of the standards, paperwork, or anything changed, but I guess they'll probably formalize and standardize the SI and Fleet after all this shit is done. "Gotcha. Just gimme a minute here."
Guts and I watched as the Armorer pulled a cart over, and picked out a rifle, laying it down on the cart, and locking the cage, before moving to the next rack and removing a small black bag, repeating the process along the line of cages across one wall of the armory, before coming back to the front, and pressing a button on his desk. I heard a click from a door next to the grated portal, and Gutierrez waved for me to follow him through the door, and into the armory.
The Sergeant had sat back down, and was poring over what appeared to be a checklist as he inspected each piece of equipment, ticking them off down the list one by one. When he was done, he clipped it to a clipboard, and handed it off to Gutierrez, before looking toward me.
"So, Heard you fellas went through some sorta training dirtside, so you should be familiar with at least the rifle?" He asked, picking up a notably shorter version of the standard UN rifle I had qualified on Earth with.
"Yes, ours were longer, it kinda seemed like they weren't really meant for non-Humans to use. We could all barely aim them shooting, uh, offhand I think it was?"
"Yeah, sounds about right for an indoc unit. The M-36 is a piston gun so it's good bit heavier out front than the old M-16's the Corps used to issue way back, Mag in the back kinda balances the whole shebang on the carbine variants" he slapped the side of the firearm he was holding "But on the full length rifles they're just ungodly long barrels. Ay, Guts, something like a 28-inch heavy barrel on the old M-36A1's?"
"Yeah, something stupid like that," Guts said, looking up from the paperwork he had been signing, as he set it down on the table. "Marines wanted a gun that was the same length or shorter than an M-16, Piston, and could reach out to like 800 meters with 5.56. I think Bushmaster pulled out some old relic from the 20th century and just modernized it? I remember the K&M lawsuit right when we started getting the A1's back in 2130, but yeah."
The sergeant nodded and turned back to me, pointing at the firearm again "So, when the Corps finally removed their head from their fifth point of contact-"
"Their ass" Gutierrez helpfully interjected, grinning
"Yes, But anyways, They saw some issues with going back to a full size rifle, and got carbines made to replace the A1's for combat arms. Shorter barrel, shorter gas system, shorter receiver, way lighter out front. Super nice shooting guns to boot. Bushmaster also sold them on this neat quick-change barrel system they thought up too, so now we have a bunch of smoothbore barrels for flechettes, rifled barrels for traditional ammunition, pencil barrels for riflemen, heavy barrels with bipods for autoriflemen, in a bunch of different lengths. These fuckers are modular as hell."
The sergeant had what was probably the widest grin I'd ever seen on a Human as he finished talking, and it very nearly took me aback, despite the Yotul, myself included, not having the same issues with Human mannerisms as the wider Federation.
"I-I'm not gonna have to carry all of those, right?" I asked, hesitantly, and Gutierrez broke out laughing, while the sergeant suppressed a chuckle.
"Nah kid, we just pick a rifle and swap the barrel to the one you need for what you're doing. Mostly just makes shit easier on my end really. You're just getting a carbine-length pencil barrel, lightest of the bunch."
The Sergeant shifted, bringing the rifle to his shoulder, and pointed it at a canted barrel, sticking the muzzle in, and pulled back the charging handle, sticking a finger into the rifle's ejection port, before looking in, and releasing the charging handle, before pulling the trigger with a 'click'. He then held out the rifle for me, and I took it, surprised at how much lighter it was than the one I had been issued in training.
"So, one M-36A2." the Sergeant said, before pulling a metal cylinder from a small pouch, and peering through it up at one of the lights, before getting up and grabbing a metal rod, and walking over to me. He stood alongside me, and slipped the cylinder over the muzzle of the rifle, before inserting the rod down the barrel, and peering closely at a small gap around the rod.

He pulled something that looked like a visor on an articulating arm from it, and inserted a pair of batteries into a cylinder that ran along the top.
"This here is the AN/PVS-101 'Fused vision system'. Little heads up display that links up with the rest of your fireteam, and also has thermal and Infrared overlay. Just a fuckin' neat piece of kit honestly. Datalink is hardened to all hell, and the whole system's idiot-proof. I've seen ones that pre-date the Satellite Wars. Uses an accelerometer and gyro system to keep track of where you are in the area, and can pulse lidar to give you visuals in full pitch-black. You can also mark obstacles, enemy troops, vics, whatever with eye-clicks, and the system keeps track and spreads that out to all the linked systems. Plus there's a version that goes to the fireteam leader, which transmits all that collated data back to company level, and gives them an up-to-date picture of everything that's going on. Just honestly fuckin' cool."
He then held up a square plate on the back of the arm to his forehead, and withdrew a small box from the back and touched it to the back of his head.

The Radio isn't nearly as impressive as the FVS, and the hearing protection hasn't changed in a meaningful way in about a hundred years. 3M is the Browning of comms gear, I swear. And, that's petty much it."

What can be done about it?
I got seven proposals to address the problem.
But first.. lets talk about what I call 'Non-Solutions'.
A Non-Solution is something that feels like a solution but isn't. For example: Scratching at itchy skin isn't a solution to a rash.
There's a few Non-Solutions I'm going to be avoiding with my proposals:

• Price Fixing: Simply mandating that X costs $N, at a government level, doesn't fix anything. Ask USSR. Prices determined by markets are not 'fair', but they are realistic outcomes to the situations which created them, whether it's a lack of regulation, lack of supply, etc. High prices are a symptom of bigger problems that need to be addressed.
• Free Money: While it seems like an easy fix, just handing out money until everyone can afford everything, you don't need to be an economist to know that doesn't work. Prices are a function of purchase power. If you increase everyone's purchase power equally, prices will adjust to match. We've all seen this, the inflation we're experiencing right now in Australia is likely a direct outcome of the spending during the pandemic.

Instead solutions need to be formed through means such as:

• Using the tax system to incentivise behaviour that results in cheaper housing, and de-incentivise behaviour that results in more expensive housing.
• Adjusting laws that result in more expensive housing, removing laws that are an obstacle to cheaper housing.
• Creating alternatives to the existing housing stock in the market.
• Government initiatives that increase housing stock.

So - what could we do?

Proposal 1 - The AAHC

I call it the 'Australian Affordable Housing Construction Company', aka, AAHC Co.
Government initiated housing construction company, similar to the NBN Co.
It has one goal: Build houses and sell them. It has a target rate of 'houses/quarter' it aims to construct houses at. That rate is set by an independent body that aims to keep the cost of housing to a fixed level relative to incomes, and controlled in a fashion similar to the official interest rate. Another lever on the economy. The rate increases when housing supply is low, and decreases when housing supply is high.
The AAHC builds houses. Then sells them. Simple as that. No other purpose. The goal is to break even, build houses, sell them at market value (no profit). The great thing is, this means the AAHC has a net zero funding cost for the tax payer - literally costs nothing to run, because it pays for itself through sales of houses.
The actual construction would be done by external private construction companies under contract who compete under bids to build suburbs worth of houses in large projects. Which is another benefit. Lots of jobs creation, a big boon for our local manufacturing and construction industry, and any related employment opportunities (construction companies don't just hire builders after all, they hire graphic designers, accountants, managers, receptionists, etc).
As additional benefit, because the government is building the houses, it can ensure the houses meet conditions and standards we the people want to see applied to future housing construction. So it could be mandated for example, every new home constructed must have air conditioning, must have solar panels, etc.
The AAHC Co in summary:

• Allows for a market based approach to control the cost of housing.
• Costs nothing (to the taxpayer) to run, self funded.
• Reduces the single largest expense we have in life (housing).
• Would create tens of thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands, of jobs.
• Can improve the quality of our supply of houses in the market by building better houses.

Proposal 2 - Nationalised Definitions of 'Tiny Homes', and Easing Of Laws Regarding Them

The reality is, there is such a shortfall of housing in Australia, that it may take a decade or longer to address the problem, even if we started implementing the right policies to do so today.
What people need is alternatives. Today.
Such as 'Tiny Homes'.
Tiny homes can be constructed in larger quantities, prefab, for cheaper than a house, and constructed on a trailer frame which allows them to be easily moved and transported.
They can be significantly cheaper than a house, and moved easily, opening up prospects for someone to own reasonable housing in Australia for a fraction of the cost of buying an established constructed house, by buying very cheap land, a cheap 'Tiny Home' and parking it permanently on their land. Then eventually moving it on, selling it even, once it comes time to upgrade to a permanent fixture house, or move into a larger fixed house.
Because they're legally defined as caravans, they subject to all the same rules.
The first problem is, those rules vary depending on where you live. Not just for each state, but even depending which council you live in. Some councils have no clear regulations at all, making matters worse. A nationalised definition of a 'Tiny Home', and national laws regarding them, would make life easier for everyone.
The second problem is, because currently Tiny Homes are defined legally as Caravans, they are subject to the same restrictions, which can be stifling, such as, subject to location (state or council laws vary). Here are some of the worst restrictions found around the country:

• Can not be placed on a vacant block of land without an existing dwelling
• No more than 1 is allowed on residential land
• Contains no more than 2 bedrooms
• Requires development approval every time they're moved
• May result in additional charges for council rates

A nationalised legal framework for tiny homes, and easing of laws around them, to make them easier and cheaper to obtain, install and live in, would open up possibilities for alternative means of housing to ease the burden on the existing housing market.

Proposal 3 - Housing Super Fund

Super is a well established method for ensuring individuals can afford their retirement without resorting to giving people free money or price fixing the cost of retirement. It forces employers to make contributions to employee's super funds, that then collect invest, grow, and eventually can be accessed at retirement age.
This is a mechanism we can borrow to achieve a similar result for renters, to allow them eventually afford housing.
I call it a 'Housing Super Fund'.
How it could work is like this:
Every tenant is Australia, could have a 'housing super fund' set up for them when they start renting. Every time a tenant pays rent, the land lord receiving the rental payment, could be required to deposit 5% of that payment into the tenant's housing super fund.
Land lords will insist, argue, that they will put up rents by 5% to compensate. But this is a lie. Prices are determined by customer purchase power. Renters will not have any additional purchase power as a result of this change. Rents won't go up in real terms over a long period of time, instead this change eats a cut away of rents from landlords and invests it on the behalf of tenants.
The housing super fund could be made accessible if and when a tenant is making their "first home purchase". If that never occurs, the funds could available automatically at retirement age instead.

Proposal 4 - Increased Property Taxes for Landlords & Elimination of Negative Gearing

While some people are facing the prospect that they may NEVER be able to afford a house in their lifetime - other individuals, might have as many as 7 properties, and are currently shopping for their 8th.
It's obvious, that the system strongly favours those who already own houses and have capital, ahead of those who don't.
So, simple solution, is to increase taxes for being a landlord.
Property taxes faced by individuals could be higher for those who own more than one house, and increase with each additional house owned.
And, Negative Gearing, eliminated, since it creates such a massive financial incentive to own more than one house.

Proposal 6 - Harsh taxes on empty resident housing

A simple proposal.
There are empty houses across Australia.
Tax the owners until they either rent them out or sell them or move into them.

Proposal 7 - Housing HELP Loan

Saved the best for last. Got a HELP Loan? Then you know how this loan structure works.
You borrow money from the government to pay for education, and then pay off that help loan in your taxes, if and when your income is above a minimum threshold. In the mean time, the loan amount is adjusted based on interest rates at the end of each financial year.
There's no reason why we can't have a similar loan structure made available for housing.
'Housing HELP Loan' could be made available to cover up to 75% of the purchase price of an individual's first home, with the remaining 25% required as an upfront deposit. The loan then can be paid off as part of the individual's taxes if and when their income is above a minimum threshold.
This would enable millions who currently can't get a home loan to finally get one, and ensure the debt of a home loan isn't financially crushing when individuals end up in a situation where they are temporarily unable to pay off their loan due to loss of employment.
That's 7 proposals to fixing housing affordability in Australia.

Which ones do you think would stand a chance politically of being supported by a major party and made into reality?

My bf and I had sex for the first time on Saturday. He used a condom but he said it felt a bit tight. He also never ejaculate as we kind of gave up. However, today I had a doctor’s appointment, and we discovered that my kyleena displaced. Two weeks ago, we were dry humping and I was in my underwear while he wasn’t wearing anything. Sorry for the TMI but I just want to know the chances of getting pregnant. Last month, (1-2 weeks after getting the kyleena), my period came a bit earlier from the 14 till 20th April. So my period should be coming very soon but I am a bit stressed.

Okay so, Hades and Hera. Season 1 and Season 2. I was thinking about this while rewatching Season 1. Hera and her faction took sanctuary briefly in the underworld while preparing for the war. If not for the pre-existing distrust, those two could've had a conversation while she was down there and realized they had exactly what the other needed to get what they wanted.
Hera's plot's undoing, largely, came down to her need to promise the Giants dominion over something in order for them to accept fighting as her puppets. She ended up promising the seas, which lost her the allegiance of Poseidon (who ended up being a major help for Zeus' side). She couldn't promise them the heavens, obviously, since she needed that for herself. Presumably she didn't think to offer the underworld, because she didn't want to make an enemy of Hades (who was "neutral" but implicitly slanting in the anti-Zeus direction) and have to deal with his army/lose her probable sanctuary space if all went south. Funny thing is, when the risk of offending the current ruler of the offered realm is removed from the equation she can ultimately retract any offer she makes and install a different ruler of her choosing since she holds the metaphorical leash and can just cage all the giants again at will. She seemingly felt she had to choose between potentially offending Poseidon or Hades with a realm offer, and picked Poseidon.
BUT in Season 2 we learn that Hades' whole objective is to be free of the Underworld, so he and Persephone can be together permanently. It would've been wholly possible to offer the Underworld (with Hades' consent) and thus not lose Poseidon by offering the Seas. If Hera understood what Hades was after (and presumably willing to give up to get it) she could've asked for his realm (to offer for her new pawns) in exchange for using her post-victory rule on Olympus, and thus possession of the Eleusinian Stone, to undo his and Persephone's bind to the underworld and order Demeter to stop her shenanigans. Hades can in turn contribute his Underworld army to the battle on Olympus, probably as a surprise attack, totally undermining the defense. Three of his agents on their own were sufficient to roll over Hephaestus' sentinels and keep two Olympian goddesses occupied for several minutes, so the whole force would presumably cause Zeus and Co. major problems.
This all but guarantees a win for them, since you've got Hades, Poseidon, and Hera all on the same team (along with Ares and several others) with substantially more secure control of the giants (courtesy of raw power and manpower improvements, as well as flying monsters to intercept anyone going for the cauldron). Hera gets Olympus, Hades gets freedom and a surface life with Persephone, Zeus goes to Tartarus, everybody wins (except Heron, sorry bud). All you have to do is merge the two objectives, rather than pursuing them separately, and you've got a whole different set of outcomes.
Hera needed somewhere to promise her new puppets they could rule and more forces for her conquest, Hades had a realm he wanted to get away from and needed someone new in charge on Olympus to release him and his wife from their bind. They could've helped each other, if only they'd known what the other needed and had a little mutual trust. If both had made their move at the same time, coordinated, I can't see anything really stopping them. They did not have mutually-exclusive objectives. Hindsight is 20/20, and people need to talk more, lol.

I haven't touched anything related to the SDK in 5 years or so. I have the project for my home world still, so I installed Creator Companion, installed the version of Unity it wanted (2022.3.22f1), opened my project in that version to update it, and the program was happy, reporting that everything was working correctly. It showed my project in the list, opening the project from there automatically opens it in Unity Hub, everything is good.
The issue was that no, it was not working correctly. Despite my project showing up in the Creator Companion and loading perfectly, I couldn't actually do anything VRChat-related with it.
I poked around in the Companion app and saw the obvious - I didn't have any of the required packages installed since I had absolutely no traces of anything VRChat-related in the project.
Here's my problem: all packages in this list outright refuse to import. It tries to import them, but then just spams hundreds of critical errors and doesn't actually import:

Extensive Google searching has shown me only two things:

• Posts that were deleted with dozens of deleted comments, followed by everyone responding with "OMG THAT WORKS THANK YOU SO MUCH"
  
• Posts with my exact issue from 3 years ago with no responses
  

Official support pages have nothing even remotely close to this issue, apparently it should just work instantly and without issues, but of course it's never that simple.
Some clarifications:

• Unity has NEVER under any circumstance failed to import any package of any kind on any version for any reason, VRChat or not, period. These VRChat packages are the only ones it has any issues with, in fact this is one of the very very very few Unity errors of any kind I've ever seen.
  
• I've used the SDK in Unity before on this very version and several older versions when they were recommended, and they've always immediately imported with absolutely no issues whatsoever.
  
• Every single setup instruction has been followed 100% perfectly. Yes even that one, that one you're looking at right now and thinking "Most people have trouble with this one", I did that, that's not the issue, there was absolutely zero human error involved.
  
• After importing the packages, but NOT before, launching gives me this error, definitively proving it's the fault of the packages and I've done nothing wrong:

Something else I'd like to add - getting actual human support for VRChat-related issues, whether it's from official sources or the community, has always been extremely frustratingly hard. Every issue I've ever had with either the application itself, Unity, or otherwise, there's always been minimal contact with official support and the internet is strangely void of community support. I don't know if that's true now but 5 years ago, there were no forums to discuss things, there were no community help groups, everyone on this subreddit would ignore tech support posts, every issue I've ever run into, I've never solved because there were no resources. I PRAY this is no longer the case, especially right now since I quite literally cannot export worlds anymore.

i think one of my friendships has just ended and it kinda devastated me. but i need to get over it quick because i have two ap tests coming up this week and finals the week after. i can’t help but keep thinking about the friendship and seeing them around, but i need to move on fast. i keep getting distracted when i study such as thinking about moments we shared together and actions that i did that ruined the friendship. this even happens during testing which does not make me be in the right mood for the exam and throws me off my game. i need to stop thinking about them and “lock in” for studying but i don’t know how
