2024.05.29 05:50 SincerestShenanigan GoTyme for Freelancers
So, recently nagkaron ng issue na hindi makapag-transfer from Paypal to Maya, and I saw a lot of people recommending GoTyme as an alternative.
However, sabi nung iba ay medyo matagal daw yung pagreflect ng balance transfer considering na "instant" dapat yung transfer.
Tinry ko magregister at magwithdraw using GoTyme and so far okay naman.
Here's what I did:
- Downloaded and registered with GoTyme via the app
- Transferred some residual Maya funds to GoTyme app (PHP ~200)
- Went to nearest GoTyme Kiosk to print GoTyme Visa card
- Linked GoTyme Visa Card to Paypal - asked for Paypal (via message center) para palitan yung currency ng card maging USD
- Verified the GoTyme Visa Card on Paypal ($1.95usd transaction na irerefund within 0-5 business days) - I think eto yung makakatulong para mas madali ang pagtransfer ng funds kase usually daw sa unang transaction nahohold pag bago sa GoTyme
- Proceeded with Paypal to GoTyme transfer
Note: In my experience, naging iba yung virtual card ng GoTyme after ko magprint ng physical card sa kiosk nila. So be aware, baka i-connect n'yo yung virtual card ng GoTyme sa Paypal.
-Di ako affiliated with GoTyme.
Sana nakatulong.

2024.05.29 05:37 Zealousideal-Map7106 Cool format for two people
Me and my older brother compete in everything you can imagine together, and we found a cool way to play EAFC having a good, kinda long tournament between us. If you're interested, this was our format:
We take turns to pick teams in the game until we each have 10 teams. Then, I downloaded an app on my phone made for real life football tournaments. In it, I enter the 20 teams with the initial of me or my brother in the name (to distinguish which team belong to which one of us). I put them in a league format and score every game that is between two teams of the same person as 0-0. Now, we play. The app tells us which games to play, until every one of my teams has faced everyone of mu brother's twice. At the end, we add un the points in a FORMULA 1 format (25 for first place, 18 for 2nd, etc...look it up). Whoever adds up to the most points is the EAFC champion.
This format is perfect for casual players like us, we prefer to not have to deal with players missing out for red cards or injuries, and we can play on any console, as the progress is saved on my phone, not in the game. It's also cool to see how underdog teams finish high in the order, revealing things about our play styles we didn't know.
Hope it helps!

2024.05.29 05:24 Free_Advantage_8595 Vision language model quantization and performance with LMDeploy
| Starting from version v0.4.2, LMDeploy supports 4-bit quantization and deployment of VL models, including: - llava
- internvl
- internlm-xcomposer2
- qwen-vl
- deepseek-vl
- minigemini
- yi-vl
These models use the llama structure as the language module except internlm-xcomposer2, while each has a different visual module. LMDeploy uses the AWQ algorithm to quantize the language module and accelerates it with the TurboMind engine, while the visual part still uses the original transformers to encode images. The language module of the internlm-xcomposer2 model has been fine-tuned with Plora on the original llama model. When quantizing, LMDeploy skips the weights of the Plora part, and Plora remains w16a16 calculation during inference. We selected 3 models and compared their accuracy before and after quantization on the MMBench dataset. As shown in the table below, the accuracy of LLaVA and InternVL-Chat is almost unaffected by quantization. InternLM-XComposer2 has a slight loss. model | llava-v1.6-vicuna-7b | InternVL-Chat-V1-5 | xcomposer2-vl-7b | Average score | 55.8 | 78.8 | 77.3 | Average score (AWQ) | 55.3 | 79.2 | 74.7 | In addition to supporting w4a16 computation, LMDeploy also supports online quantization of the key-value cache. We conducted accuracy tests on different quantization methods of the Mini-InternVL-Chat-2B-V1-5 model using the MMBench dataset. model | w16a16 | w4a16 | w4a16 kv8 | w4a16 kv4 | Average score | 64.1 | 62.9 | 63.1 | 61.6 | It can be observed that even with the most aggressive w4a16 kv4 quantization scheme, the drop in accuracy is still within an acceptable range. Of course, users can choose the necessary quantization configuration based on their actual situation to achieve a balance between GPU memory, throughput, and accuracy. Next, we will use the Mini-InternVL-Chat-2B-V1-5 model as an example to introduce how to deploy VL models smoothly with LMDeploy. Set env Install lmdeploy with pip (python 3.8+) or from source. conda create -n lmdeploy python==3.10 pip install lmdeploy The default prebuilt package is compiled on CUDA 12. However, if CUDA 11+ is required, you can install lmdeploy by: export LMDEPLOY_VERSION=0.4.2 export PYTHON_VERSION=310 pip install https://github.com/InternLM/lmdeploy/releases/download/v${LMDEPLOY_VERSION}/lmdeploy-${LMDEPLOY_VERSION}+cu118-cp${PYTHON_VERSION}-cp${PYTHON_VERSION}-manylinux2014_x86_64.whl --extra-index-url https://download.pytorch.org/whl/cu118 Quantization LMDeploy adopts AWQ algorithm for 4bit weight-only quantization. By developed the high-performance cuda kernel, the 4bit quantized model inference achieves up to 2.4x faster than FP16. LMDeploy supports the following NVIDIA GPU for W4A16 inference: - Turing(sm75): 20 series, T4
- Ampere(sm80,sm86): 30 series, A10, A16, A30, A100
- Ada Lovelace(sm90): 40 series
Users can quantize a VL model with a single command, taking Mini-InternVL-Chat-2B-V1-5 as an example. export HF_MODEL=OpenGVLab/Mini-InternVL-Chat-2B-V1-5 export WORK_DIR=Mini-InternVL-Chat-2B-V1-5-4bit lmdeploy lite auto_awq \ $HF_MODEL \ --calib-dataset 'ptb' \ --calib-samples 128 \ --calib-seqlen 2048 \ --w-bits 4 \ --w-group-size 128 \ --batch-size 1 \ --search-scale False \ --work-dir $WORK_DIR Please note that LMDeploy’s quantization process involves quantizing the Llama model layer by layer, with each layer being loaded from the CPU to the GPU before quantization and then unloaded back to the CPU after quantization. This approach reduces the GPU memory pressure during the quantization process. Additionally, each layer is quantized in batches of --batch-size, which further decreases GPU memory usage. However, this also means that the quantization process will take longer. If the GPU memory is sufficient, you can set a larger --batch-size to speed up the process. Finally, if the accuracy of the quantized model does not meet expectations, you can enable --search-scale for further refinement. If this option is not enabled, the quantization process will default to a smooth quantization approach. Pipeline LMDeploy abstracts the complex inference process of Visual-Language Models (VLMs) into a simple and user-friendly pipeline. Its usage is similar to the inference pipeline of Large Language Models (LLMs). from lmdeploy import pipeline from lmdeploy.messages import TurbomindEngineConfig from lmdeploy.vl import load_image model = 'Mini-InternVL-Chat-2B-V1-5-4bit' image = load_image('https://raw.githubusercontent.com/open-mmlab/mmdeploy/main/tests/data/tiger.jpeg') backend_config = TurbomindEngineConfig(model_format='awq') pipe = pipeline(model, backend_config=backend_config, log_level='INFO') response = pipe(('describe this image', image)) print(response) In the example above, using our quantized Mini-InternVL-Chat-2B-V1-5-4bit model, you can see that the model successfully recognized the tiger in the image and provided a description. For users with multi-GPU machines who wish to make more efficient use of their hardware resources, they can refer to the following example to utilize tensor parallelism. from lmdeploy import pipeline from lmdeploy.messages import TurbomindEngineConfig from lmdeploy.vl import load_image model = 'Mini-InternVL-Chat-2B-V1-5-4bit' image = load_image('https://raw.githubusercontent.com/open-mmlab/mmdeploy/main/tests/data/tiger.jpeg') backend_config = TurbomindEngineConfig(model_format='awq', tp=2) pipe = pipeline(model, backend_config=backend_config, log_level='INFO') response = pipe(('describe this image', image)) print(response) Both the language model and the visual model will be evenly distributed across the two GPUs for inference. For more usage examples of the pipeline, you can refer to the LMDeploy documentation. Serving Use the LMDeploy CLI tool to start the VL model service with a single command: lmdeploy serve api_server Mini-InternVL-Chat-2B-V1-5-4bit --max-batch-size 256 --vision-max-batch-size 16 Here, --max-batch-size represents the maximum concurrency for the LLM part on the server side, while --vision-max-batch-size is the maximum concurrency for the vision part on the server side. This means that if each client request includes an image, the actual maximum concurrency on the server side will be determined by --vision-max-batch-size. For more tips on deploying services, you can refer to the service documentation provided by LMDeploy. Benchmark The following figure illustrates the actual token generation rate per second for a deployed Mini-InternVL-Chat-2B-V1-5 quantized model on an A100-SMX4-80G graphics card. Each request in the graph includes an image with a resolution of 512*512. https://preview.redd.it/xrdrrnvw9a3d1.png?width=1852&format=png&auto=webp&s=9965e08c1bc2dad5534f1ce4e5f0ceccf39c1860 The graph above shows that after a concurrency level of 16, the throughput (out tokens/s) of the model increases at a slower rate. Additionally, as the concurrency continues to rise, the latency for the first token increases sharply. This is because the batch size for the vision model inference is set to 16 when the service starts. When the number of concurrent requests exceeds this number, subsequent requests have to wait for the earlier requests to be processed before they can be handled. Therefore, users need to allocate appropriate values for the --max-batch-size and --vision-max-batch-size parameters based on their actual usage scenarios. Moreover, we used the same method to test the throughput of the model before and after quantization. The comparison results are illustrated in the following graph: https://preview.redd.it/j8v13t3u9a3d1.png?width=2143&format=png&auto=webp&s=3f840cf2515ab471f813a7cc7a8f72997e0bc4b1 The line graph above shows that the quantized model has a higher throughput. Considering the data presented, users might want to consider quantizing their models using the quantization tool before deployment, as this will result in better inference performance for the service. submitted by Free_Advantage_8595 to LocalLLaMA [link] [comments] |
2024.05.29 05:11 elycex How do I add vbucks to my son’s account from a card?
My mom gifted my son a vbucks card.
I went to the website listed. His account he mostly uses is on Xbox. I don’t know how to make sure it goes onto his actual account and what should I download it on? Xbox or the gaming thing that Fortnite uses? My other struggle is I don’t know passwords for stuff. His dad set it up but doesn’t know any of the passwords apparently.

2024.05.29 04:31 SDings Un-installed and wanted to reinstall
Started trying the process of installing on my own and quickly realized I'd rather follow a video. So, I un-installed EmuDeck after I set it up fully and re-downloaded the installer.
Once I reach "Select your ROM directory" it pops up with "Ooops There was an error, please restart EmuDeck." And if I click SD Card the same error pops up. It seems I can continue with "internal storage" but I plan to install these on my microSD. So I attempted to reformat the SD card. After doing so, I reattempted the EmuDeck installer, but it didn't work. I then attempted to rename the card through KDE Partition Manager. Same outcome. I don't know what else to do. I really don't want to factory reset. But I'm not finding many alternatives.

2024.05.29 04:24 Alternative_Lime3797 OnionOS won’t load
| I got a miyoo mini plus this past Christmas, and everything on it was great, but over this past weekend I had attempted to add games on it for the first time using the stock SD card. When I thought I had everything taken care of I put back in the SD and non of my games would load. It would simply show the miyoo loading bar before just taking me back to the game select screen (all with the exception of the PS1 games?). Long story short I saw somewhere that changing to OnionOS would help but that I’d need to redownload all of my ROMS. Reluctantly I did and reformatted the stock SD using Rufus and added all the onionOS stuff that an online tutorial told me to do. I made sure that I had the right firmware to download it as well, but the end result is my MM+ is just stuck like this. The longest it’s gone has been about 10-15 minutes, but I’ve also tried a different SD card and it’s just the same thing that keeps happening. If someone can help please let me know because I think this little thing is the coolest device I have and I don’t want it to be bricked. submitted by Alternative_Lime3797 to MiyooMini [link] [comments] |
2024.05.29 04:13 Arthur-Engviksson How I filed an OCI minor application (USA)
I'd filed for an OCI three years ago for my older kid. Now it was time to do it for my younger child. And of course I came to learn that the process had changed just a tad bit.
As always, VFS makes things so super complicated that it makes one want to pull their hair out. I felt like a bird flying amidst clouds of confusion and ambiguity. When I came to this sub to seek clarification on multiple things, I only found fragmented pieces of information scattered across many posts. So I decided to share my most recent experience here as to what I did with my minor OCI application. Here it goes.
STEP 1 - Fill out the government form online.
Here, you upload the photograph and the thumbprint to the portal. For the thumbprint, you can order any non-toxic inkpad from Amazon. Both the photo and thumbprint images have to conform to a specific size ratio. I just put my child's thumbprint on a blank piece of paper in multiple places. Then I scanned that piece of paper, and cropped in the thumbprint I wanted. Once these two files were uploaded, I proceeded to fill out the form.
After the form had been completed, it was time to upload the supporting documents. All files need to be under 1000Kb. They're very strict about this. I used Preview (Macbook) to reduce the PDF file size. Not always did this work the first time, so it took a bit of trial and error with the compression quality to get the desired size. Now, the only form that needed a notary at this point is the Parental Auth form. Both mom and dad need to sign this with the notary as witness. Once you upload all forms, you can submit the applicatiom and download the government form.
STEP 2 - Prepare the VFS package
First, register on the VFS portal by using the File Reference Number from the government form. Next, pay the fees. Beware, VFS auto-selects additional services like photo and what not, but you really don't need that. Just take the bare minimum service which is the cost to send the application in. Do take the courier label service as it takes away the pain of you having to send in return labels.
Now, assemble your package. At this point, you need to make another trip to the notary for the Affidavit (in lieu of originals) form.
In your entire package, there are only two forms that need notary. The parental auth form (which you notarized during Step 1), and the Affidavit form which you notarized during Step 2.
Now the government form needs wet signatures on page 3. I put my child's thumbprint in the applicant signature space (this is in addition to having uploaded a scanned copy of the thumbprint during Step 1). Next, I signed the minor section of the form as the parent.
Then I generated copies of all relevant documents. I self attested it by writing on it what the copy is for, signing it, and then dating it.
I also signed the Undertaking and the Consent letters.
I also printed the VFS fee receipt document to he included in the package.
Finally, I enclosed two photographs of my child. I just put them in a small envelope (did not staple or paste them to the government form).
This is pretty much what I did. Now the waiting game has begun. Let's hope the OCI card comes through after all 🤞

2024.05.29 04:07 vonsmor Anyone have a link for no rom version of the RG28XX firmware?
Downloading/writing/deleting roms from the 45GB stock firmware seems redundant and I'm going to be setting a few of these up to give away to friends. Wish Anbernic would just offer the stripped down versions in addition, I would assume the reason their links get killed daily is everyone is busy ass-blasting these 40-60gb firmwares with roms they want to clear out.
I suppose I could just set one up then clone the card, but I am thinking the process of repartitioning etc from a clean image write is device-centric or is that an over assumption of Anbernic's way of doing things?
If none is available, can anyone explain the process of stripping the current massive one down and creating a new image. I am fairly technical, just haven't redone a sd image before. Is it as simple as mounting the 45GB image, deleting the contents of various rom folders, and creating a new image? RG35XXH stock-mod added features, that I know I can't do, but I would be willing to host the file for all if I can get it right.

2024.05.29 03:49 Silver-Summer-1105 FPS and latency trouble since after the DDOS attacks
Hello dear FFXIV Community. I have a problem where my end of my windows and technical knownledge are reached. Since after the long DDOS attacks from FFXIV, I have the problem that my FPS goes down (and render latency goes high) when I logging into the game. In the menu and character selection my graphic card have without fps limiter the highest potential (In the task manager I see it goes up to 100% how it should be without fps limit). Even in the character selection. But in this moment where my char are connected to the world and loads into the world the fps goes very unstable between 70-21 fps. Out of any cities like residentials areas, Open world (not cities) dungeons. It is stable between 120-109 (but before the problem as well stable on 120) but as soon as I entering any cities the fps goes down. Much worse it is in the golden saucer, I am not able to play stuff like cliffhanger or other non gc-duty events. Before the problem happens I had always stable 120 fps (ok not limsa but that is know of course) don't matter where I was.
My deskop speci:
System-OS: Windows 11 Enterprise 64-bit (6.2, Build 9200) (22621.ni_release.220506-1250)
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor (32 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Motherboard: MSI Meg x570 ace
graphic card: Nvidia RTX 4090
RAM: 64gb
I play FFXIV on 4K on 120 fps what are absolutely fine before the problem occours.
On the funny way my notebook have the same problem with an rtx 2060 and a intel core processor.
What do I did already for fixing this problem by myself?
Use reshade? No
Use any Mods? No
I tried already:
Reinstalled graphic drivers. (I used DDU of course) and reinstalled a older version, removed nvidia geforce experience, removed nvidia app, removed nvidia control panel.
(Information any single graphic setting in the game and in the nvidia app and control panel I have switched. the same problem occours. Yes even with fullscreen, window borderless and window option was not working. play it on 800x600, same problem stays, yes even g-synch I switched on and off)
I reinstalled amd chipset driver. I reinstalled windows 11, I downloaded the game files again through the official launcher. I switched the drive. I tried it directly after I installed windows 11 new. I switched from DirectX11 to vulkan. I tried a lot of windows 11 settings (like game mode on and off, set powerplan to high end.) I disabled any "overlay stuff" like nvidia, windows x-box/game-bar.
My notebook have windows 10 and exactly the same problem. After asking a lot of people around I was notice I am a single case. No anyone seems to have the problem like me. I even used network analytics for find any a possible connection issue but nothing. My hardware are not broken so far. I used 3D Benchmark for cpu and the graphiccard (for cpu only cinebench R24) I used Dawntrail Benchmark and the scores on maximum settings for 4k was "very high score". Everythings from what my hardware can do are absolutely fine.
The funny things comes now. Always when I load into the world and everything goes worse. My graphic card sleeps on load 20%. Even all of my cores are sleeping (of course the 4 corse gets a load, but this is more sleeping then overload) I don't understand it anymore. How comes as long as I don't enter any world the load of cpu and my graphic cards can go to 100%, but as soon as I entering the world it goes down to 20% and does nothing anymore? (with the fps limiter in-game well.. This option just don't work even I put it on 29 fps it don't work, on nvidia panel this limiter works and I had always it on 120 fps even I turn it now off nothing changes happens)
If anyone have any idea I would be happy for help, then after 2 weeks of troubleshooting. I am on the end of my techical knownledge :(

2024.05.29 03:44 PotentialUmpire1714 Connection to KPCU has not worked since Feb 1 2024 when KPCU updated their website; Xero says they're working on it and KPCU says Xero is lying
Xero tech support keeps telling me in email support that they are "working with KPCU to fix the bank feed." When I was in the branch today, KPCU staff said Xero is lying so I will keep paying them for the software, because Keypoint Credit Union doesn't collaborate with any third party software developers except Intuit/QuickBooks. They don't accept connections through Yodlee because it's a security risk and they feel that offering the QB deal should be enough for their customers.
I can't talk directly to anyone at Keypoint who understands what Xero is. It took over an hour today to convince them I am not just trying to get a login for a human bookkeeper. They keep telling me to "download the most current version of Xero" and when I tell them it is through my browser like Gmail instead of a standalone app like Zoom, they circle back to "we offer a discount on QuickBooks and this sounds like a you problem because you chose not to use QB."
I don't want to use QuickBooks because, even if Intuit wasn't a sleazy company that cheated US taxpayers out of the free tax prep they qualified for, dozens of people I know lost all their accounting data with a similar online QB for Etsy product. Intuit had no way to restore their data. They just shrugged and said users assumed the risk of potential data loss by agreeing to the terms of service.
I think I finally have the hang of Xero after 7 years, they seem to be good at not losing my data, and I don't think my bank gets to choose what software I use to run my business. I hate Chase Bank for numerous reasons, but I could move my business checking there and my bank transactions would import as smoothly as those from my Chase credit card that I keep because closing it would hurt my credit rating.
Xero has been able to reconnect the bank feed in the past, but since February they have been telling me they're working with KPCU and won't provide the data. Tech Support at KPCU said they were going to connect with developers at Xero, but ALL MY NOTES for these conversations have been deleted from my account at KPCU.
When I have downloaded bank transactions through the online banking and uploaded them to Xero, they lack full information that I need to correlate to transactions. KPCU says I need to talk to Xero on the phone, but they don't seem to offer that service.
Does anyone know how to solve this? Would it help to pay a Xero expert here in the US?

2024.05.29 03:37 AVtechN1CK Which model of Steam Deck OLED I should get if I'm buying for very specific reason?
Hi everyone. So, few months I decided to start saving money for Steam Deck OLED solely for "Backlog killing" purposes in addition to my mid-end gaming PC. I'm not intending to setup Windows/SteamOS dual-boot on it, nor run graphically demanding games (so mostly limiting to pre-2016 games or indies), nor download 80+GB games on it.
Technically, I have enough funds to order the 1TB version, but lately I've been wondering if 512GB version would be more than enough for my demands and I should just go for it. I don't think I'll ever want to manually change the SSD on it, since I have fat and very clumsy fingers.
But in other hand, more free disk space is always welcome, although there's an option for buying a MicroSD card for extra space.
So, what would be your recommendations?
