It's so funny but infuriating the more we play and notice that decorations are actually immersive puzzles everywhere.
I started making a mental list of what I would make infuriating puzzles if I was Billy Basso, and wanted to share two.
Do you think there's a chance that any of the crank platforms that rise above water spell out a code through their reflections? I saw vines reflecting vines, especially as they just touch the surface of the water, and it felt so striking looking that I wondered if it was a signal.
The light tools will turn on if you activated them before switching items. This works on the pause menu, when you hover over your items and the game still turns light on and off when movement is frozen. This allows you to use UV light in an area where you're using regular light to fend off damaging faces, without taking damage. If I was a game dev, I'd make a clue you can only see in this fashion.
Same thing with how movement freezes when you open the inventory, but time does not. You can prove this in the room to the right of the house.

No-one would ever stand a chance against this fearless and badass warrior in battle.

For those familiar with steam input this is going to be fairly straightforward, but for those who aren't I will try to explain as step by step as I can. There is an easy (and kind of janky/bad feeling) way to do this, and a more involved but better feeling way. First lets make sure steam input is enabled. These steps should be the same regardless of which controller you are using (DS5, SC, even switch maybe)
Enabling Steam Input
Find the game in your library and right click. Under manage you should find a controller layout option. If you do not you need to instead go to properties >> controller and then make sure steam input is enabled for whichever controller you are using. From here simply open the controller layout menu and confirm that you are set to the default official config. From here there are two ways to go.
The easy way, gyro as joystick input
This is very easy. Simply click edit layout, find the gyro menu, and set the behavior to "camera movement as joystick". Now go into the settings beside that option and change the gyro activation buttons to both soft and long pull of L2. Now the gyro will be active as long as you are holding down L2. Feel free to mess with the settings but in my experience it doesn't get much better. If this kind of aiming is acceptable then congrats, you are done. Otherwise disable the gyro and go to the next section.
The harder way, gyro as mouse input.
This is the preferred method for doing this in any game because it is more accurate, but GoT makes it difficult by not supporting simultaneous mouse/gamepad inputs. Try holding down L2 and looking around with the mouse and you will see what I mean. To solve this we will need to only provide the game KB+M inputs while we aim and fire. This will be done with action sets/layers. Think of an action set as a basic gamepad configuration, and an action layer as a temporary configuration that is only active under certain circumstances. In this case only while we hold L2.
In the bottom left there will be an action sets menu. In this menu you will see in game controls, this is your default button layout for game play. Click the cog and add a layer to in game controls. Now when changing any settings the top left action set icon should let you see which set you have active. Start by changing the behavior of your left trigger in the base "in game controls" action set. To do this you need to set your L2 behavior to "trigger", and then set both the soft/full pulls to be "hold action set layer (insert name you chose)". We also need both full/soft pull to output the left control key which is how the bow aims. Select the cog next to the hold action set binding, add an additional input, and select the control key. Now any time you hold down L2 the game will think you are holding down control, and any inputs done while holding L2 will come from your action layer.
Everything on the action layer you created should be changed to the equivalent KB+M input. Left sick needs to be changed to output WASD for movement, right stick changed to output mouse movements, right trigger to left mouse button, etc, etc. This is all pretty straight forward, just remember that if your aim is being broken it is being caused by the game detecting controller input. Also be careful that you are only changing the layout of your action layer and not the default controls. Now we come to the gyro. Under your action layer turn the gyro on and set it to "as mouse" for behavior. It will likely be way too sensitive so you will need to adjust. Most of the settings are intuitive enough and will need to played around with. I would however strongly advise against using acceleration, and even turning mouse acceleration off in windows settings as this can effect your aim as well.

P value is listed as the second number after the population name
with wight after that. wight times a hundred = percent of that source your pop has.
if percentages are off or stupid like - or 200% your model sucks.**
there is also a section called STE slightly above this area. Make sure that is below .04 fir plausible models.

P values should be above .05 for a pass. 5e-3 = .005... 5e-4 .0005 and so on
STE errors should be below .04
and weights have to add up to a hundred... cant have bizarre stuff.
if all the above have been met and your right group is good. You have a plausible model.

Read and ask about best right groups
Dont use too many similar populations you need distinct mixes for good modelling

About 10 months ago I gave my first attempt at starting a youtube channel. it was fun and I learned a lot and then it kind of tapered off for me. I had a bunch of videos ideas and still have the old material to make those videos. But I just kind of gave up. (I guess I was one of those delusional dreamers of making it big on the first video -- even though I consciously knew/know the attitude I want to take with this is a fun side hobby.)
Anyway my question is it better to just continue on the old inactive channel or start a brand new one? I had 66 subscribes and apparently 3 recently unsubscribed. All the subscribers I got were from me begging on social media lol and posting my videos there. Some people were supportive but that was about it.
I'm wondering how the youtube algorithm treats old inactive channels. Has anyone brought an old channel back from the dead?
The channel I wanted to make or did make was just a random exploration/travel channel. I went around recording cool or interesting things that stood out to me. Some people might find it boring but I like the idea of seeing more of the world. Sometimes we look at something but don't see what's quite there.

I am trying to print custom scripts with custom art. Can this be done with the official tool? So through this Reddit and online many custom characters some with custom art can be made. I know about clocktica for making the custom scripts but for the printable versions with all the characters in order how do you import the custom art in there?
Or is the script tool only for official characters even if you have the art locally on your computer?
If I have to format a word document I can, but I'd prefer to have nice looking scripts. I've seen them before where custom characters or put on a script. One notable one being on the official channel with Ben's red dwarf script. That was for the online game which might be able to accept the art? I'm just not sure if you have to format the JSON differently to make it work.

My 2yrs toddler slept over my place 3 days for the first time last week. Here's how things went
1 day: After washing up he crawled himself up to bed and went to sleep right away. At 2:30am he woke up and starting looking for mom this took about 10 min and fell back asleep until morning.
2 day: He noticed that sleeping in that room = no mom. So he didn't want to sleep in the first room. So I took him to the second room and he was ok with it. No waking up or looking for mom.
3 day: Again, he noticed that sleeping in either room = no mom. So he wanted to be in the living room. I read him a book and he fell asleep in my arms. So I put him to bed and slept with him. He did not look for mom or woke up until morning.
I thought everything went great but here's what my ex emailed me.
After his first night with you at your place on Thursday, I told Noah that he will be sleeping another night with you on Friday and I noticed that he got very quiet and his demeanor changed from his usual playful mood.
That may have been your account of what happened on Sunday, but in actuality after I picked him up and got home, and as soon as I opened the car door, he saw that he was home and he cried and would not let go of me saying ,"mom mom". Two months ago, I lost a job I had been very happy with for the better part of 3 years due to not acting soon enough to prevent the narcissist from destroying my reputation. I was the (only) administrator and customer service rep for a small company that produced a very specialized product. Having come from supervising a department in a large corporation for 13 years prior to this (and laid off during Covid), the new small office atmosphere was a breath of fresh air for me at the time. Everyone was friendly, collaborative, and willing to help - including the CEO, who I had a great relationship with. The manager that hired me eventually left to do his own thing and someone else was hired. It took some getting used to, but my new manager turned out to be awesome and we worked really well together. He also left to do his own thing after about a year, which meant that there was about a 3 month stretch where there was no true "manger," meaning I had to essentially run the production department by myself while we found someone new.
In walks the Narcissist. On day three of his reign, I walked in, greeted him, and sat down at my desk to start my day. Instead of greeting me back, he said "I didn't know I was your boss, too." I said well yes, I report to you because you have access to my time card, but I answer to everyone here. My job is to do what needs to be done to keep daily operations running smoothly." He then told me that he was disappointed that I didn't wish him a happy bosses day (which happened to be that day). I laughed it off, thinking he was joking. He wasn't. The next week, I had to leave early one day for a doctor's appointment. While I was gone, he answered an email from one of our vendors FROM MY ACCOUNT, basically chewing them out for something and adding, "I am You_Minivan's boss..." I didn't even know how to react when I saw he had done that. This made it clear to me that he had a complete lack of boundaries. He would also constantly sit in my very small office for long periods of time while I was trying to work and voice-text people. Even the CEO joked that it was weird to always find him in my office and not his own.
The company had recently acquired and absorbed another company, so a project came up where we needed to transition our customers to a new website. Being that I was the admin for all of our websites and had experience doing a very similar project before he got there, I thought he would allow me to take the lead in this transition. Instead, he completely took over and refused to acknowledge that I had any useful information that could help with the process. At one point, I mentioned that one specific application had created a lot of issues during the last transition, and I knew how to handle it as I was the only one with experience since I used the application every day. He said, "I've never heard of that application, so I'm sure it doesn't matter." It did matter. It put us months behind, and we ended up losing a lot of money and customers because he refused to believe I knew what I was talking about. The customer backlash affected only me directly, being that I was the first point of contact. The CEO was furious, but of course, I'm the one who was blamed because "I should have told the narc this would happen."
On another occasion, I needed him to communicate with the sales manager about a client issue so that I could continue with next steps. He kept putting this off and minimizing how severe this issue could become if I did not get an answer by a specific date. The date comes and goes, things go as badly as I knew they would, and then he wrote me up for "mishandling" the escalation. I spoke with the sales manager, who confirmed that he was asked (read: told) by the narc to stop sending me weekly updates from his department, which were crucial for me to make informed decisions. He said he was asked to talk to Narc Boss first and that he would relay any relevant information to me. I finally went to HR (one person) to let them know that I was unable to do my job properly because he was intentionally withholding information from me. She seemed to understand and said simply, "Document everything." So I did. I started documenting everything and filled up at least 20 pages front and back in a notebook. Some highlights from my notebook:

• Frequently peeked his head into my office with rage in his eyes after berating another coworker, saying, "The nerve of that guy...!"
  
• Told me that he thought his title should be "Director of [Industry]" This title didn't exist and would have made him everyone's boss, including other managers.
  
• Misspelled the names of products on customer facing media. When I figured out why these items were not being picked up on our production sheets, he said "Oh yes, I've known that for months and nobody noticed."
  
• Explicitly told me not to do a project that the CEO asked me to do because it "wasn't my job." Asked me to gather the info an essentially do the project myself anyway, then presented it to the CEO as his own work and told him I had refused to do it. This happened with multiple smaller projects I was asked to do for other departments too.
  
• Told me I should appreciate how much he was "protecting" me from the CEO. Protecting me from what, I still don't know. Told me that he was "training" the CEO how to approach me.
  
• Told me that nobody in the company respected me, but he did, and that's why I shouldn't do the projects I was being asked to do or continue doing day-to-day tasks that had always been a part of my job.
  

I could go on and on, but I'll cut to the point where I completely lost it and started to grey rock. The CEO suddenly started complaining to me that he couldn't tell whether or not I was answering email that came through to a shared inbox. I didn't have access to the settings of the inbox, which must have changed at some point, but I did everything I could to make sure it was clear that all communications were answered. I eventually complained to Narc Boss that I didn't understand why the CEO would suddenly think I was not doing something I had been doing without issue for over three years. The next day, I didn't even get a hello from the CEO who walked past my office every morning on the way to his. He just completely stopped talking to me or even acknowledging me. After I asked Narc Boss what he had said to the CEO, he said "well, I think you need to start copying both of us in to every email that you send." Fine - I wasn't doing anything wrong, but I didn't appreciate the sudden micro-management, and I didn't understand how it would help the situation. Narc Boss started reprimanding me for mishandling email responses. In most cases, he had not read the emails carefully enough to realize that the "issues" he was pointing out were actually responses from the CEO, not me. I had enough. I grey rocked until...
One day, I walked in and Narc asked to talk to me really quick.. I said sure. He said "It's clear you aren't happy here, so effective immediately, your position is terminated. I smiled - I honestly thought he was joking for about 5 minutes. He told me he was serious and told me I had 10 minutes to gather my things. I said I'd prefer to be able to speak with someone first. Here's the kicker: This was day one of the HR manager's two week vacation. I asked to speak to the CEO, who was conveniently not there yet. I kept asking him why - what did I do, can you be specific? He told me that the CEO and HR had both already signed off on this and refused to give a reason. He just kept saying "I am your manager - I don't have to give a reason," repeatedly, with his head tilted up and his chin sticking out like some sort of white collar criminal pleading the 5th. After about a half hour of absolute shock and confusion, I handed in my keys and left. My co-workers were all equally as shocked when he held a meeting afterwards, saying I was let go for "personality differences."" One of them ran to see if I was still in the parking lot to give me a hug, but Narc made sure I was already gone. He then ran up to the HR office only to find out she was also gone. The Narc had won, as they always do, but did finally get one thing right. I have major "personality differences" and do not work very well with narcissists.

I (25F) and Ex (24M) found each other on an online dating website. His work requires him to go in different cities. Whenever he comes to my city, he lives with me (well I live with my parents, it's a big house). During our 9th month of relationship, he said he wanted to tell me something. He said that he fell out of love but he said he's still gonna try to make our relationship work. I was very devastated at that time, I loved him so much. But with that hope of trying to make our relationship work, makes me feel a little better. Here's the thing. Whenever I'm with him, I don't think he is proud to be with me. He always makes jokes even if the situation is serious, he's just like a big child to be honest.
I met his family and friends. His family were nice and were happy to meet me. He has a weird friend who always talks about raunchy, party and drug related stuff. We'll call him Gary (24M). Gary and Ex have been friends for awhile. Gary also knows about us trying to make our relationship work. Whenever I talk to Gary, there is always an awkward vibe. A vibe that you can feel that he doesn't like you for his friend kind of thing. I just ignored that coz maybe I'm just being paranoid?
So there was a time when he needs to work in a different city (where Gary also lives) so basically we we're like in a long-distance relationship. We message and call each other from time to time, like a routine we always do. Ex and Gary always goes to this bar. I'm used to them going there and hanging out because that's their go-to bar. There's this day, I have a gut feeling that something's not right. He has an Ipad that he left in my house. His messenger is connected to that Ipad. I opened it just to check if my gut feeling is right. There were no names I find suspicious, but I opened the chat between Gary and Ex just to see if they ever talk about me.
The chat goes like this:

My eyes are just tearing up reading this, I was speechless. I was heartbroken. I decided not to tell him I read their messages coz it might result to us breaking up like why we're you reading my messages? Why I don't trust him? Blablabla.. I loved him alot and I was blinded. There are alot of messages between Gary and Ex about Anna. And from those conversations, I knew then that Ex and Anna have something going on (not sexually, I hope, but more like going out and hanging out).
Months goes on, and we had a big fight. And it resulted me telling everything to him what I found. He didn't deny it. We exchanged hurtful words, but this was the final straw. He broke up with me. The audacity, right? I begged him to stay. I was willing to still work it out even if he fell out of love, but he was done. What a naive young lady I am! It was the worst breakup I've ever had and I was broken. My mother and father knew about it and they cried with me. Such sweethearts!
We didn't talk or messaged each other after that. Two weeks passed, I received a message from him. I was a little happy coz maybe, just maybe, he misses me and wants to go back. Delulu of me! He messaged me pictures of his accident. Karma is a b*tch, right? He went to jail coz he was drunk driving resulted to a big accident. I called him, we talked. I was, of course, so caring and asking if he was ok. I still love and care for him. I was surprised when he apologized to me for being an asshole. He never intend to hurt me. I was very accepting of the apology. After that, we haven't talked for a year. I moved on a little bit.
Me and my friend planned to go to this city (where my Ex worked and things happened remember?). So I decided to message my Ex like "Hey! We are going to "the city" and for old time sake, if you wanna hangout, just let me know. You can bring your girlfriend (if you have)." It was a very friendly message. I was a little bit hurt with the response but I'm like whatever.
Years and years after, I received a message from my friend. My friend told me that my Ex message her and it went like this.

UPDATE! I am already happily married, and I just recently found out that I'm not blocked on my Ex's page anymore. Well, I hope he sees that I'm happily married! Karma's a Bitch! And is my Ex and Anna still together? NOPE!

Similarly to past games I've done like Dances of the Seasons, The Dancing with the Stars Alphabet, Favourite Dances Per Style, and The Pros' Most Memorable Dances, for every day, you can all comment a response. This time, the response would be a quote from the respective pro for that day! As with previous games, the comment with the most upvotes wins. At the end, I'll put together a video compilation together!

My father and my mother have been married for 20+ years. I have an older sister (30) who lives in the house, though she isn’t actually blood-related at all, she worked at a place my dad owned and soon she needed a place to stay so she just moved in with us and I see her as my sister. One day her and I were just browsing on her phone through her pictures and looking at memories, though I caught before she could pull the phone away a nude photo, she believes I didn’t see anything and goes throughout her day, before that day I always noted that she was very protective of her phone whenever I would ask to use it, but I brushed it off as nothing. A few weeks later her phone is bugged and we take it to apple and she gets a new phone, so her old one is at the house, a few weeks later I am dying to know, who the hell is she sending nudes to? She doesn’t have a boyfriend so who are these pictures for? I charge her phone and look at her photos and there are so many nudes. Though I find a screenshot of a text from her phone and I look up the name in her contacts and it seems she has a boyfriend, I get a little angry that she didn’t introduce him and it was so erotic but, I brush it off, she is old enough she can make decisions by herself. Though when I am looking through to find the text using the keyword searcher my dad’s number pops up and I look and she is sending him nudes and they are talking about hooking up. Even when my mom caught my dad deleting a text saying “I love you honey” to my sister and they got into a big fight over it, my sister explained to me how crazy it sounds. I feel so pissed off and lied to and disgusted, I want to do something but I’m just so lost on what to do, we aren’t financially stable to be able to have a divorce going and it would screw up our lives, but my mom, bless her heart, deserves to know. What should I do?

Ever feel so overwhelmed with life you low-key have to resist urges to run into the woods and live like some sorts bush hermit? Anyone? Just me? lol My crumbling mental health aside (I'm working on it I promise), I find myself feeling extremely bored and demotivated with how isolated I am at the moment. I miss when I was a teenagekid constantly having someone to text/talk to about whatever random stuff comes to mind, your day, etc? Lately I definitely do.
A little about me: Canadian, short, fueled by caffeine and weirdness. Wants to hug every cow I see and plan on owning a highland one someday when I get a big enough property. I like to send pictures of animals or whatever I've seen throughout the day. I've got two diagnosed mental illnesses. Very non judgemental, be your authentic weird self and I'll love you for it!
