2024.05.16 15:13 MinecraftSexUpdate [GUIDE] Enjoy GAMING again by ruining the fun of sexhavers and foids

Are you a gamer? Want to take out on normies, sexhavers, and foids that infest what used to be OUR hobby? Those of us born in the 80's will remember a time when being a gamer was scorned. We were bullied, chastised, and shunned from our peer groups for enjoying video games. This would last up until the mid to late 90's when the media finally started pushing games to "dudebros" and eventually women in the early to mid 2000's.
It's time to turn the tables and make them suffer as they made us suffer, both in life and the virtual world. (Legally and within the confines of the game, this is NOT a guide to IRL ruinate or anything of the sort) Some of this stuff isn't allowed if you're an EU gamer.
First off, you're going to have to let go of playing video games to "win" or acquire virtual greed. You're going to need a new mindset. The mindset of a sadistic psychopath hellbent on extracting keks from anyone and everyone deemed not one of us. No more giving a fuck about your KDA, w/l ratio, or "following the rules" or the "meta" of what other players expect you to do. You are a gamer going your own way, regardless of what the groupthink expects or wants. If the game is F2P or you're a richfag or jewtuber who can get free games from devs then being banned is part of the fun, and is expected of you. If you cannot afford to buy back into games or are too technologically retarded to change your IP and spoof your hardware to get around bans in F2P games then you'll have to tread carefully.
Here's the part where I instruct you on how to fuck over these sexhavers for your own sadistic pleasure. After all they've denied us a life worth living in the real world and treat us like lepers. It's time they feel uncomfortable in OUR space. Feel free to add to any of these methods or pitch in ideas.
Foid infested "cozy" games Shit like "Animal Crossing" or "Palia." Anything that lets you decorate and grow shit is a "cozy" game and women infest these games more than any other. It's literally a containment game of sorts to keep them out of other shit. To fuck with women in these games all you have to do is steal resources, build ugly and annoying things within the game world, be rude via emotes and text chat, and use emotes to make it look like your character is grabbing their tits or eating them out. I once did /eat to some slag girl gamer in WoW Vanilla 20 years ago and when I reverse searched my name she was bitching about it on reddit and remembered my characters exact name 4-5 years ago. She's STILL SEETHING about it 15 years later. This is what you want. Virtual RAPE. Many foids stream these types of games, and it's incredibly easy to get under their skin. Make the ugliest characters you possibly can and always stand in their camera. Stalk them in-game. Uglify the world around them. Spam emotes. The world is your oyster.
MMORPG's World of Warcraft, or anything else really. Gank them. Corpse camp them. Dispel their world buffs. Emote spam sexually assault them. Use a high level or highly geared character to camp low level quest zones and steal mobs, resources, and kill low level players. Stream snipe them till they hide their screen with nothingness. Join their guilds and steal their resources after faking being a Chad. Get the entire guild wiped, blame it on the women healers. Play a vital role and underperform / disconnect at pivotal moments and blame a thunderstorm. Make everyone wait on your actions, but not enough to get gkicked. Openly challenge sex havers lifestyles in discord voice calls and call them out on their privileged bullshit. (Genetics, riches, went to a nice school, raised by good parents, etc.) Use every underbelly evil shithead tactic that these fuckers used towards us during our childhoods and young adult lives. Roleplay it up and lie about your IRL self to make them feel inferior. Exploit early and often, and cash out via RMT before you get banned or when you quit for some NEET bucks. If the game has a "random queue" system you can wipe endless groups or refuse to participate and hold entire game lobbies hostage.
FPS Overwatch, Counter Strike, etc. Simply play terribly in ranked matches. Don't assist the team. Mic spam. Play vital roles like tank or healer then simply don't heal and tell them openly on the mic to beg if they want heals. Refuse to play at all if a woman is in voice chat. Verbally accost every white knight that defends her. Remember, they're most likely wagies who have to go to work tomorrow and you're most likely a NEET who has infinite free time. Remind them of this. (Even if it's not true.) In FPS with one life, openly tell the enemy team where your team mates are camping. Use aimbots, wall hacks, and other cheats to make both sides pissed off. If you're doing well gloat. If you're playing shittily, then call them a loser or a nerd. Flashbang your own team. Drop objective items as far as possible. Die with expensive guns (Auto sniper in CS triggers normies.) and make sure the enemy acquires them. Acquire or goad team mates into team killing you to 2 week ban them.
MOBA / RTS League, Dota 2, Age of Empires, and other slop. Never go to the "meta" lane. (AD carry / support normally go bottom lane, but you're gonna always go middle, and steal your own teams jungle.) Never build the right items. Feed the enemy team, kill steal your own. Never push lanes or objectives. Ping spam. Keep text chats very "safe" to avoid bans. When a team mate dies, some ping spam and a "?" goes a long way. Never agree to surrender, unless your team is winning. Always report everyone who rages on you. Play characters that have statistically low win rates or are extra annoying. Use a lag switch to delay and hold entire lobbies hostage (RTS). Wall in your own team. Use retarded high risk low reward build orders. Be completely useless all of the time and never join team fights except after everyone's dead then schizo gaslight them that they were the ones not helping.
Survival, Crafting / Building Games Minecraft, and shit like it. Become insanely super godlike good at the game. Learn all the metas, muscle memory, speed run tech, and master PvP. Join reddit servers and ruinate months of "cozy crafting" with max enchanted equipment and masterful grief tactics. Construct server destroying redstone machines. Completely ruin spawn and active players bases while they're offline. Destroy their VIP / pay 2 win "donation" special items. Join their discords and spam anti-vax, anti-pitbull, and black people violence webms from rekt threads on 4chan to get their servers shut down. Literally use modded hacked clients to ESP radar hack and dupe your way to victory, kicking down reddit twerps virtual sand castles and record the seethe in their discord voice chats while pretending you don't know what's going on. Abuse and exploit anything you can to the detriment of other players (Shittily coded cash shops and stores. RPG elements that are 100% broken, like a "health swap" spell that you can use on any god-geared player to swap your 1/2 heart health with their full HP then 1 shot them naked kinda shit.)
Indie slop None of these games have any cheat protection. Cheat Engine even the most basic shit. I once played some slop card game and was able to set my opponents HP at the start of the game to 0 and win immediately. You can pretty much speed hack on all of this shit and most hack sites will have a few dedicated cheat bros that can do the wildest shit like gain access to admin panels and other destructive things. Even without cheats most basic exploits can really break these games. If a dupe method worked on one shitty survival Unreal 5 sloppa game, chances are it works on the other 7,000.
VR / Roleplay shit Fondle titties. When the white knights run up and shout "back off" loudly point and laugh at them. Force feed slags coconut drinks. Put your arm around everyone and get really up close in their face. Make fun of their furfag outfits. Call them trannies. Take a right wing stance on everything. Use cheats to spam gore and porn everywhere. Use mod menus (Cheats) to force other players to emote or spawn giant laggy objects and explosions. Always talk shit in VOIP and spam soundboards. Be as annoying and as insufferable as possible.
Single Player Games Okay, so this one's hard to "troll" but there's still ways to do it. You gotta share stuff in normie spaces that will offend and upset them. There was a guy that played Red Dead 2 and brutually murdered and tortured the "women have a right to vote" NPC to the point where he got banned off jewtube for it cause it pissed off so many redditors. You're gonna have to be real creative with this one. If you're a jewtuber you can intentionally kill off all the gay NPC's in Baldurs Gate 3 or something during your streams or playthroughs and watch the seethe roll in. Or make misleading and untrue guides or push a narrative you'd prefer to see and post them to normie sites to really stick it to 'em.
Please, feel free to share your ways of griefing and trolling foids and sexhavers within the confines of the video game. Since we can't be happy in real life, the least we can do is make their virtual lives closer to ours. Give them a taste of their own medicine. The only joy I have left in life is making others seethe in video games, because what the fuck else is there to do?

2024.05.16 14:57 idkwtfimherebutHi Advice on posting someone's photo on social media because they found something I lost in hopes that I could get it back (and receiving extreme backlash about it)

TL;DR - I posted someones pic (from a legally acquired CCTV footage) sa socmed in hopes of reaching out to them because they picked up cash that I dropped, which is very important as I need it for my acads. The post was direct but respectful, I said na 'nakita/napulot' nila yung pera at hindi 'ninakaw/dinukot'. But I'm thinking of taking the post down na because I received quite a backlash. It seriously feels like napaka demonyo ko sa ginawa kong yun... Should I keep waiting na baka mahanap ko yung person? Should I just take down the post immediately? What do I do now really?
For context, nilipad yung pera ko from my pocket (shocking I know, won't elaborate on this further as I've received enough screaming about this- and di ko na kaya if may iba pang magsalita. ITS MY FAULT I understand that) and that money is very important to my studies kasi allowance ko yun for a whole month. I underwent legal processing naman regarding sa investigation (barangay blotter, municipal permit to view cctv sa area kung asan ako). So nakita ko yung cctv footage nung person na nakakuha nung item na nalaglag ko and the officials asked me if anong gusto kong gawin since baka mahirapan na ko to retrieve yung gamit, they even said na wag ko na asahan and ipagpray ko na lang hahaha But I just cant let it go kasi kailangan ko talaga yun
Anyway fast forward and I posted a screenshot of the cctv footage in hopes of finding yung person. I added context, made sure na yung wording ko is respectful and added my contact no., made sure na hindi malicious yung tunog ng caption because again, I'm just hoping na baka ma retrieve ko pa but if not then okay, it'll be fine I guess. Actually, my sister insisted na wag ko na hanapin at baka nagastos na yun nung nakakuha but IM STILL HOPING BAKA NAMAN HAHAHA anlaking amount kasi nun for me
Dito ako naguguluhan, kasi may ilang comments na kung makarespond is parang sila yung inagrabyado ko. I understand that posting someone's photo without their consent is bad, could lead to legal issues. But the thing is, I did not post it for malicious intent. I did not include any defamatory words nor condemn yung nakapulot. It's not like I said na ninakawan ako or what- I said they found it and now I'm asking if someone knows them so I could possibly talk to them.
Personally, if I was posted and I happen to really be the person na nakapulot ng certain item or money, it wouldn't bother me kasi I didn't do anything wrong naman plus if the author of the post didn't call me names or whatever. And this happened to me before na napost ako sa school page kasi nakita ko yung reg card ng isang student hahaha-
So ayun... Ang alam ko din kasi is pwede ka makasuhan as cyberbullying or defamation or something privacy related. I'm just very worried din and so sad about it kasi I'm not sure anymore if what I did was right or even allowed... I just want the money back pero kung nagastos na nila then okay lang din if di na mabalik, at least I could talk to the person na lang for closure dahil nag-ooverthink na ko. kung gago ba talaga ako (sorry for the word)
Sorry if magulo! I don't really talk much and I'm bad at storytelling so baka walang sense yung pagkakasabi ko.

2024.05.16 14:44 UninvitedButtNoises Art Institute Forgiveness

If you attended Art Institute and received your email from Biden, call your loan servicer immediately.
Despite the email saying you no longer need to pay (with exception of private loans that were not dismissed), you need to request from the servicer that you're placed on forbearance. If you do not take this step, your credit will be negatively affected from missing payments.
I called AidVantage this morning and politely asked what I needed to do, she said they only found out about dismissal a week ago today and were instructed to place borrowers on forbearance until they receive further instructions.
Further instructions for AidVantage, she said, will come on this Monday May 20th, most likely.
Hope this helps.

2024.05.16 14:41 Arbrand The Trickster's Veil

As far back as I can remember, I had always been passionate about the great outdoors. My love for the wilderness began when I joined the scouts, exploring the diverse landscapes of Southern California, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah. I was never a huge fan of the dry, barren landscapes, but camping provided a much-needed escape from the monotony of Orange County suburbia.
The first time I visited the Pacific Northwest, I was enchanted. The scenery was breathtaking—majestic mountains, lush fields, and meandering rivers. It was clear that anyone who praised the desert's beauty had never laid eyes on the Cascades. Seeing grass and wildflowers growing without irrigation was practically a revelation.
When I was old enough, I moved to Washington state, immersing myself in nature every weekend. My adventures took me hiking through dense forests, camping by serene lakes, and occasionally taking mushrooms under peaceful waterfalls.
I joined several online forums dedicated to outdoor enthusiasts. One community that particularly fascinated me was the Northwest Tomb Raiders. This group of history buffs and thrill-seekers was dedicated to uncovering artifacts, whether Native American relics or treasures hidden in modern ruins. Many members were collectors, fencing their finds to museums and archaeologists, which made it a rather profitable side gig, should you be lucky enough.
In the fall of 2009, an intriguing post appeared on the forum. A user named Lokk claimed to have discovered a cache of artifacts with Scandinavian origins. He couldn't carry everything back due to the treacherous terrain and his age, so he shared the coordinates, hoping someone else could retrieve the items. I scrolled down to see a few posts of people planning to loot it in the Spring, when the paths have reopened. One user, Patagooner, planned on going as early as possible.
Excited by the prospect, I gathered my two friends, Carl and Noah, for the expedition. They weren't as enthusiastic about camping as I was, but after I told them how much a single arrowhead goes for on the black market, they were on board. It was the start of winter now, which had its advantages and disadvantages. On the plus side, the rangers would have a harder time spotting us. On the downside, the harsh conditions posed a serious challenge for two inexperienced hikers.
I must’ve blown about four grand at REI on gear for them, justifying it with the knowledge of how much more I would make with two extra packs. That is of course assuming there really were as many artifacts as Lokk had said, and Patagooner hadn’t beaten me there.
The journey began like any other. We met in the pre-dawn darkness and went over our supplies, ensuring we had everything we needed. By mid-morning, we were on our way, my pickup truck winding up the mountain paths. The roads of Olympic National Park were the epitome of the raw, untamed beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
They snake through ancient forests, where towering Douglas firs and Western hemlocks create a verdant canopy overhead. Mist clings to the trees, giving the landscape an ethereal quality. Occasionally, the forest would open up to reveal breathtaking vistas of snow-capped peaks and deep, shadowy valleys.
As we climbed higher, the landscape grew increasingly desolate. The dense forest thinned out, replaced by rugged terrain and jagged rock formations. The air grew colder, and the first flurries of snow began to fall, dusting the ground in a thin, white layer. The road became narrower and more treacherous, winding precariously along the edge of steep cliffs.
Finally, a road closure blockade signaled the end of our journey in the truck. We unloaded three dirt bikes—one mine, two rentals—and continued up the trail. The bikes roared to life, carrying us several more miles into the wilderness. The trail twisted and turned, cutting through dense underbrush and over fallen logs. The snow began to fall more heavily, blanketing the forest floor and muffling the sound of our engines. The world around us grew quieter, more isolated.
Eventually, the snow became too deep to traverse by bike. We dismounted and prepared to continue on foot. The silence of the forest was profound, broken only by the occasional rustle of branches in the wind. I checked my modern GPS, its screen displaying the coordinates and a relief map of our destination.
The cold air bit into our cheeks as we trudged through the snow-laden forest. The silence was almost oppressive, broken only by the crunch of our footsteps and the occasional call of distant wildlife. The GPS indicated we were close to our destination, but the dense underbrush and uneven terrain made progress slow.
Suddenly, Carl's excited whisper cut through the stillness. "Hey, look at that!"
He pointed to a small, furry creature ambling through the trees. It took a moment to realize what it was—a bear cub, innocently exploring its surroundings.
My heart sank. "Carl, get back," I hissed, my voice low but urgent. "Where there's a cub, there's a..."
Before I could finish, a massive shape exploded from the trees. The mother bear, easily three times the size of the cub, charged at Carl with a ferocity. She was a blur of dark fur and powerful muscles, her roar echoing through the forest.
"Run!" I yelled, but it was too late. The bear was upon Carl, swiping at him with her massive paws. He screamed as he fell to the ground, the bear towering over him. Desperation and adrenaline surged through me. I grabbed the nearest heavy branch and swung it at the bear, hoping to distract her.
Noah joined in, shouting and waving his arms. We had to be careful; one wrong move and she would turn on us. The bear snarled, turning her attention away from Carl for just a moment. It was enough for him to scramble backwards, clutching his bleeding arm.
"We have to get him out of here," I shouted to Noah, who nodded, fear etched on his face. The bear, still enraged, seemed torn between attacking us and protecting her cub.
Using the brief respite, we hauled Carl to his feet. His face was white, and he was clearly in shock. Blood soaked his sleeve, dripping onto the snow. "There's a ranger station about two miles from here," I said, my voice shaking. "We need to get him there. Now."
We half-carried, half-dragged Carl through the forest, every shadow and sound heightening our paranoia.
Finally, after what felt like forever, the small, wooden structure of the ranger station came into view. We had been avoiding the rangers to keep our expedition secret, but now it was our only hope.
Pounding on the door, I prayed for a quick response. The door creaked open, and a weathered face appeared. "What happened?" the ranger demanded, taking in the sight of Carl's bloodied form.
"Bear attack," I gasped. "We need help."
The ranger's expression shifted from suspicion to urgency. "Get him inside. We've got a first aid kit and a radio."
As we eased Carl onto a makeshift bed, the ranger inspected his wounds. "You're lucky," he said after a moment. "The cuts are deep, but they missed any major arteries. He'll need stitches, but we can handle that here. No need for an airlift."
The ranger's face darkened as he turned to me. "What the hell are you boys doing out here?”
I hesitated, "We... we were just exploring."
The ranger's eyes narrowed, his anger palpable. "Exploring? In a restricted area? In the middle of winter? Are you out of your minds?"
He worked quickly and efficiently, cleaning and stitching Carl's wounds. Carl winced but stayed silent, his eyes closed in pain.
"Do you have any idea how dangerous it is out here?" the ranger continued, his voice rising. "The storm, the wildlife... This area is off-limits for a reason! You should have known better." he said, pushing a finger into my chest.
"We'll stay here for the night," he continued, "The storm's getting worse, and it's too dangerous to move him now. We'll reassess in the morning. And count yourself lucky I don't arrest your asses."
Night fell quickly, the storm outside growing more ferocious with each passing minute. The howling wind battered the small ranger station, and the walls creaked under the pressure. We huddled in the main room, the tension thick in the air.
The ranger looked at us sternly. "I need to check the perimeter and make sure everything is secure. There are things out there you don’t want to encounter, especially in this storm."
"Things? What do you mean?" Noah asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
The ranger's expression hardened. "Just stay put. No matter what you see or hear, do not leave this cabin. Understood?"
We nodded, the seriousness in his tone leaving no room for argument. "We'll stay put," I said, trying to sound more confident than I felt.
The ranger grabbed his coat and shotgun. "I'll be back in an hour. Do not leave this cabin." With that, he opened the door and stepped into the raging storm, disappearing into the darkness.
As soon as the door closed, I turned to Noah. "We need to go. Now."
Noah's eyes widened. "Are you crazy? He said to stay put."
"If we wait until morning, we'll be escorted out of here and lose our chance. This might be our only opportunity to find those artifacts."
Noah hesitated with uncertainty "But... what about Carl?"
"He'll be fine here. The ranger can take care of him. We have to do this now."
Reluctantly, Noah nodded. "Alright. Let's take what we can and go."
We quickly looted extra gear from the cabin. I checked the GPS one last time before we slipped out into the storm, the cold wind battering us.
The snow fell heavily, obscuring our vision as we slogged through the forest. The ranger was nowhere in sight as we made our way towards the our destination, each step filled with trepidatious excitement.
The storm began to die down as we approached the coordinates. We stepped into a clearing where the undisturbed snow lay like a pristine white blanket. In the center stood an ancient, weathered stone altar, encircled by intricate wooden carvings, delicate metalwork, and beautifully crafted statues. The sight was breathtaking, a treasure trove, a veritable museum of paganism.
Noah and I exchanged glances, our eyes wide with amazement. "Do you see this?" I whispered, barely able to contain my excitement.
"We're going to be rich," Noah replied, his voice trembling with awe. "These must be worth a fortune!"
We approached cautiously, as if the vision before us might disappear. The craftsmanship was stunning. I reached out to touch a carved wooden idol, marveling at the detail. "This is incredible," I said, my voice barely audible.
We began to load our packs with as many artifacts as we could carry, each one more exquisite than the last. It was beyond our wildest dreams. We were so engrossed in our task that we didn't notice the small figure watching us from the ridge.
It wasn't until I turned to leave that I saw her. A young girl, maybe eight years old, stood there, her blue eyes wide with curiosity. She was dressed in simple, rustic clothing, her blonde straight hair blowing gently in the wind. For a moment, we just stared at each other.
"Noah," I whispered urgently, nudging him. "Look."
He turned, his eyes following my gaze. "What the...?" he muttered, his voice trailing off.
The girl took a tentative step forward, her eyes fixed on the items in our hands. There was no fear in her gaze, only a quiet intensity that made my skin crawl.
"Who are you?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady.
She tilted her head slightly. "My name is Sigyn."
"What are you doing out here, Sigyn?" Noah asked, his voice shaky.
"I live here,"
"You live here?" I echoed, incredulous. "Is there anyone else around?"
"Yes," she whispered.
"Where?" Noah demanded, looking around nervously.
"Everywhere," she said with a giggle.
The way she said it, so matter-of-factly, bothered me deeply. Noah and I exchanged a look, both of us trying to figure out what to do next.
"We can't take her back to the ranger," Noah started, "We'll lose everything."
I nodded, my mind racing. "Sigyn," I said slowly, "we need to know who else is here. Can you help us?"
She looked at me with her piercing blue eyes, then said, "I'm sorry."
"For what?" Noah asked.
"For what's going to happen to you," she replied, her voice tinged with sadness.
"You need to tell us what's going on," Noah said, grabbing her arm roughly. "Why are you out here alone?"
She looked up at him, unperturbed. "I am not alone," she said softly.
Before we could press her further, a loud, guttural mooing sound echoed through the clearing. We turned towards the direction the girl had come from, and there, emerging from the shadows, was the silhouette of an elk. As it approached, my stomach dropped. Its body was a grotesque amalgamation of life and decay. Its skull was fully exposed, the eye sockets dark and empty. Large patches of its ribs were visible, the flesh around them rotted away.
The elk's movements were slow and deliberate, its head swaying as if in a trance. It walked directly towards us, its hollow eyes fixed on Sigyn. The closer it got, the more the stench of death filled the air—a nauseating mix of decay and earth. I fought the urge to retch.
Sigyn stood up, her expression calm. The monster sniffed her gently, its nostrils flaring. Without a word, she climbed onto its back, mounting it like a horse. It was a surreal and horrifying scene ripped straight from a nightmare.
As she settled onto the elk, she looked back at us, "A thief in the night shall reap what he sows," she said, her voice carrying an otherworldly echo. "Beware the price of stolen dreams."
With that, the beast turned and began to walk away, Sigyn riding it into the shadows of the forest. We stood there, frozen in place. The realization that we were in far over our heads began to sink in. This started to feel like a trap.
We need to get out of here," My voice trembling. "Now."
We turned to leave, our packs heavy with the pilfered goods. But as we took our first steps, the forest around us seemed to come alive. Shadows moved among the trees, and whispers floated on the wind. I quickened my pace, glancing nervously over my shoulder.
"Did you hear that?" Noah asked sharply,
"Just keep moving," I commanded.
A figure emerged from the shadows, blocking our path. It was a man, tall and gaunt, his eyes burning with an intense light. "Where do you think you're going?" he asked, his voice cold and menacing.
"We're leaving," I stammered. "We didn't mean any harm."
The man smirked, and with a swift motion, he raised his hand. More figures appeared, closing in on us from all sides. We were surrounded.
"Run!" I shouted, shoving Noah forward.
We sprinted through the forest, branches whipping at our faces and legs. The figures pursued us, their footsteps silent and relentless.
Noah stumbled and fell, his pack spilling open. Statues scattered across the ground, glinting in the moonlight. "Help!" he cried, scrambling to gather the items.
"Leave them!" I shouted, pulling him to his feet. "We have to keep moving!"
But it was too late, their hands seizing us. I struggled, kicking and thrashing, but their grips were too strong. They forced us to the ground, binding our hands with rough, coarse ropes.
"Please," I begged, "Don't hurt us."
The man who had first appeared stepped forward, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "A thief in the night," he mocked.
They dragged us through the forest, the trees closing in around us like a cage. We were at their mercy.
In the distance, I could see the elk standing at the edge of the clearing, Sigyn still astride its back. Her eyes met mine, and for a moment, I thought I saw a flicker of pity. But then they turned away, disappearing into the shadows once more.
We were dragged into the heart of the forest, our struggles futile against the unyielding grip of our captors. As we broke through the treeline, a massive bonfire came into view, its flames licking the night sky. Shadows danced around the clearing, cast by the flickering light. A woman stood at the forefront, her presence commanding.
Her eyes were milk white, devoid of pupils, and her long, flowing white hair cascaded down her back. She was completely naked, her skin pale and marked with intricate symbols. Atop her head, she wore an elk skull, its antlers extending like eerie, skeletal fingers. She beat a drum emblazoned with more of the same cryptic symbols, each thud resonating deep within my chest.
Around the fire, about two dozen people stood, all drinking from crude, horned cups. Their faces were solemn, eyes fixed on the woman as she led them in a haunting chant. The atmosphere was thick with a mix of reverence and intoxication.
We were forced to our knees before the woman, who paused her drumming to look down at us. Her gaze was haunting, as if she could see into the very depths of our souls.
"Who are you?" Noah demanded, his voice trembling.
The woman ignored him, raising her arms to the sky. The chanting grew louder, the rhythm of the drum faster and more frenzied. The air around us seemed to vibrate with energy, the flames of the bonfire growing higher and more intense.
I glanced at Noah, fear mirrored in his eyes. The woman began to speak, her voice low and melodic, but filled with power, in a language I couldn't understand. Suddenly, she stopped, lowering her arms. The chanting ceased, and an silence fell over the clearing. She looked directly at me, her white eyes unblinking.
I was terrified and confused. She started again, softer, in a way I could understand.
A thief in the night shall reap what he sows, beware the price of stolen dreams.
His laughter guards our hidden groves, where shadows cloak the forest's seams.
For every stolen breath and lie, a thief must meet his painful end.
The tricksters will, our spirits tie, so in his grace, our lives suspend.
The crowd surged forward, grabbing Noah first. He screamed, his terror echoing through the trees as they pulled him towards a makeshift altar beside the bonfire. The woman chanted louder, her voice rising in a hypnotic rhythm as they began their gruesome work.
They stripped him of his shirt and bound his arms to a wooden frame. I tried to move, to help him, but the grip on my shoulders tightened, pinning me to the ground.
The woman approached Noah, holding a knife with a blade that gleamed in the firelight. She started to slice into his back, her movements deliberate and unhurried. Noah's screams pierced the night as she methodically carved the shape of wings into his flesh.
Blood poured from the wounds, soaking the ground beneath him. The crowd's chant grew louder, almost drowning out his cries. I watched in horror as the woman reached into the incisions, breaking the ribs and pulling them outward, creating a parody of wings.
Noah's agony was unbearable to witness. His screams turned to whimpers, his body convulsing in pain. The woman didn't stop until the work was complete, his lungs exposed and hanging grotesquely from his back.
They lifted Noah's broken body and placed him over the fire. The smell of burning flesh filled the air, making me gag. His life ebbed away as the flames consumed him, the once vibrant light in his eyes fading to nothing.
The woman turned to me, her expression devoid of mercy. "You will meet the same fate," she said, "He demands it."
The smell of burning flesh and the sight of his broken body over the fire was seared into my mind. Despair settled over me as I closed my eyes.
A deafening blast shattered the night. My eyes flew open to see the shaman stumbling backward, a gaping wound in her chest. She collapsed to the ground, her white eyes staring lifelessly into the void.
The villagers turned in shock as another shot rang out, this time hitting one of the men holding me. I twisted free from their grasp and saw the park ranger standing at the edge of the clearing, a pump-action shotgun in his hands. He fired again, the sound echoing through the forest, before one of them tackled him to the ground.
"Run!" he shouted, his voice raw and desperate. "Get the hell out of here!"
I didn't need to be told twice. I sprinted into the darkness, the chaos of the clearing fading behind me. Branches whipped at my face, and the snow underfoot made every step a struggle. I could hear the sounds of fighting and gunshots, but I forced myself to keep moving.
The cold air burned in my lungs, but adrenaline pushed me forward. I didn't stop until I reached the station, my legs threatening to give out from under me. I burst through the door and slammed it behind me.
Inside, Carl lay where we had left him, his face pale and twisted in pain. I stumbled to the radio, my hands trembling as I fumbled with the controls.
"Mayday, mayday!" I yelled into the microphone. "This is an emergency! We need help! Please, someone, come quickly!"
Static filled the room, punctuated by my ragged breaths. I repeated the call, my voice growing more frantic with each passing second. Finally, a voice crackled through the speaker. "This is Ranger Station Bravo. What's your location? Over."
I could barely form the words. "Olympic National Park! The ranger station near mount Christie! We're under attack! Please, send help!"
"Copy that. Help is on the way. Stay put and stay safe. Over."
I collapsed to the floor, my body trembling with exhaustion and fear. Carl moaned softly, his eyes fluttering open. "What… What happened? Where's Noah?”
Tears streamed down my face and I found myself choked up. “He’s gone, man. Help is coming.”
The minutes stretched into an eternity as we waited. The wind howled around the station, and every creak and groan of the structure set my nerves on edge. I couldn't shake the feeling that we were being watched, that the forest itself was closing in on us.
The radio crackled again, this time with a different voice. "Helicopter en route, ETA fifteen minutes. Prepare for extraction."
I glanced at Carl, his eyes filled with confusion. "Hang on. We're getting out of here."
As the minutes ticked by, I couldn't help but think about the ranger. He had saved my life, but he hadn't made it back. My mind conjured up images of what might have happened to him, the cultists overwhelming him in the darkness. A sense of guilt gnawed at me, knowing he had sacrificed himself for us.
The sound of rotors cut through the night, growing louder as the helicopter approached. I ran to the window and saw its searchlight piercing the treetops, scanning for the station.
I helped Carl to his feet, supporting his weight as we made our way to the hatch. The helicopter hovered above, lowering a rescue basket. The wind from the rotors whipped the snow into a frenzy, but I didn't care. Salvation was finally here.
We secured Carl in the basket first, and I watched as he was hoisted up, disappearing into the safety of the helicopter. My turn was next. I realized that I was now alone and exposed. Fear coursing through me as I scanned around the edge of the forest, expecting to be grabbed and taken seconds before my rescue. But the moment never came. As I gripped the rope, I took one last look at the forest below. The flames of the bonfire still flickered in the distance.
I was lifted into the air, the ground falling away beneath me. The helicopter's crew pulled me inside, and I collapsed onto the floor still holding onto my pack, my body finally giving in to exhaustion. The doors closed, and the helicopter banked away, leaving the horrors of the park behind.
Weeks had passed since the harrowing events, but the memories clung to me like the bitter cold. I had returned to civilization, seeking solace in the familiar chaos of the city. I found a wealthy collector through a network of contacts. The artifacts fetched a price tenfold the cost of gear. The money was substantial, but as I held the cash, it felt like a hollow victory.
Noah's absence weighed heavily on me. His disappearance was chalked up as a missing persons case, and despite my best efforts to explain what had happened, no one believed me. The authorities conducted a search of the area, but they found no trace of the cult, the artifacts, or the clearing. It was as if the forest had swallowed up all the evidence.
I returned to the site where we had parked the truck. The dirt bikes were gone, stolen by opportunistic thieves, but the truck remained. I drove back in silence, the road winding through the dense forest. For a moment, I thought I saw the girl watching me from atop a ridge until I realized it was just paranoia. I stepped on the gas a little harder.
Back home, I checked the Tomb Raiders forum again. The post that had led us into the forest was gone, deleted without a trace. I messaged the mods, but apparently, they don’t keep records to maintain confidentiality. I wrote about our experience, detailing every terrifying moment, but the responses were skeptical at best. Most dismissed it as a work of fiction or a desperate cry for attention.
Time passed, and I tried to return to a semblance of normalcy. Yet, the wilderness called to me stronger than ever. It was my sanctuary, the only place where I could find peace amidst the turmoil. I spent more and more time outdoors than ever before, but now it always felt like I was just running from something.
Determined to prove what had happened, I returned to the forest with a camera and recording equipment. This time, I documented every step, capturing footage of the trees, the snow, and the eerie silence that hung in the air. I retraced our path, hoping to find the clearing again. But each night, as I reviewed the footage, something strange would happen. The files would be corrupted or entire segments missing.
I pressed on. I found the site where Noah had fallen, the ground still bearing faint traces of what had happened. I set up the camera and began to speak, recounting the events in detail. As I spoke, a cold wind swept through the clearing, and the camera's screen flickered. I finished my account and turned to check the recording, only to find the file corrupted once again, the footage replaced by static and a faint, mocking laughter.
I returned home, defeated and exhausted. My attempts to share what I had experienced were met with disbelief and ridicule. The files I managed to save were corrupted beyond recognition. It was as if the forest itself was conspiring against me.
Almost exactly one year later, as I browsed the forums, a new post caught my eye. It was cryptic, eerily similar to the one that had led us into the nightmare. It spoke of another trove of artifacts, hidden deep within the wilderness, waiting to be claimed.
The post was signed with a new name: Skygge. Different handle, same style. Another trap. They had taken so much from me, left scars that would never heal. I opened my drawer, my fingers brushing over the cold metal of my weapons. This was the moment I had been waiting for. This time, I'll be ready.
The forest’s secrets won't remain hidden forever.

5 Tips to Get the Best Loan in the United States
Whether you need a loan to pay for emergencies like unexpected home improvements, to cover last-minute expenses or cover a gap in income, personal loans can help meet that need.
Unlike payday loans, credit cards and other emergency funding sources, personal loans often come with lower interest rates—especially for applicants with good to excellent credit. Plus, many lenders offer same- or next-day funding so you can get the cash you need, when you need it.
The best personal loans for emergencies offer fast and convenient applications and approvals, accessible lending standards and quick funding.
This online lender offers loans from $100 to $5000 within a single business day. But sometimes, it isn’t a cakewalk when it comes to getting approvals from rise credit and such situations can be disturbing especially when borrowers need quick money for say emergency medical purposes. Other than rise credit there some other online lenders which offer loans at certain interest rates. Before choosing rise credit or any other alternate online lending service there are certain things one must keep in mind. Below mentioned are some of the tips to find the best payday loans so that borrowers don’t have a tough time searching for the best, thus facilitating a hassle-free lending process.
  • Best for a lower credit score: GreenLightCash
  • Same day deposit from direct lenders, ensuring quick access to funds: LoanRaptor
  • Offers same day cash loans with no refusal for applicants, even for those with poor credit histories: ExtraLend
  • No credit check payday loans, ideal for those in need of instant funding: LendYou
  • Bad credit payday loans guaranteed approval with instant approval for high-risk borrowers: MaximusMoney
5 Tips to Get the Best Loan in the United States
  1. Check Your Credit Score: Before applying for a loan, review your credit report and score. A higher credit score typically leads to better loan offers with lower interest rates. You can access your credit report for free from the major credit bureaus and work on improving it if necessary.
  2. Compare Lenders: Don't settle for the first loan offer you receive. Shop around and compare loan terms, interest rates, and fees from multiple lenders, including banks, credit unions, and online lenders. Look for reputable lenders with favorable terms that suit your financial situation.
  3. Understand Loan Terms: Thoroughly read and understand the terms and conditions of the loan, including the interest rate, repayment schedule, fees, and any penalties for early repayment. Pay attention to the annual percentage rate (APR), which represents the total cost of borrowing, including interest and fees.
  4. Consider Your Budget: Before taking out a loan, evaluate your budget to ensure you can comfortably afford the monthly payments. Factor in other financial obligations and emergencies to avoid overextending yourself. Choose a loan amount and repayment term that aligns with your budget and financial goals.
  5. Negotiate if Possible: Don't hesitate to negotiate with lenders to secure better loan terms. If you have a strong credit history and a stable income, you may be able to negotiate a lower interest rate or reduced fees. Be prepared to provide documentation to support your financial stability and demonstrate your ability to repay the loan.

By following these tips, you can increase your chances of getting the best loan deal available in the United States.

2024.05.16 14:31 joncohenproducer The company I started while waiting for MOASS.

I am an xxxx ape from 2021.
I built an indie video game company with my best friend between 2021-2022 during our long wait for MOASS.
(The game we made is called BR1: Infinite for anyone curious).
I get asked quite a bit how we came up with the concept of our game. I’ve told a few versions of this story but the truth is it was this whole saga that sparked the idea.
Basically, the game is an online multiplayer shooter game, where Apes and Bots dish it out for real cash.
Now where have I heard that story before…
There was always something cool about the idea that us apes were always fighting botted FUD over the years on Superstonk with the aims of taking down the establishment and getting rich in the process.
Remember when C.ita.del tweeted about Jan 2021?
Remember when B.ill Ga.tes got on TV to tell us how dumb GME was?
I’ll never forget…
Anyways.
I’ve become a Zen Ape over those years and continued to build BR1 in stealth mode. I stopped checking price entirely up until this week when all my friends messaged me about it. This new surge in GME price has woken me up from my cryo-sleep lol.
I’m sure lots has changed for all of us in these 3 years. I thought I’d share a piece of what I’ve been up to over that time. And what better community to share it with than my fellow video game apes 🫶🏽
BR1 is a PC video game for anyone wondering (pretty decent beta out). We open our servers a few days a week to the public so our community can see all our updates as they come out. Our Twitter and Discord has a fair bit of content if you wanna see some gameplay.
That’s it!
Just wanted to share a bit of my life. I’m still here. Never sold. Have no intention to. Really happy to see this community is still thriving as much as it did when Mr R. Kitty told the S.E.C that he likes the stock. I remember watching that live when it happened and I knew then that what I know now: I am on the right side of history.

2024.05.16 14:29 Nostalgia_town Tale of a train journey

Tale of a train journey
It was a winter morning, and I was standing on the railway station of Adityapur, one of Asia’s largest industrial hubs in the outskirts of Jamshedpur, formally known as TATANAGAR, the city known for TATAs & their steel. I updated my current whereabouts to my mother just before boarding the Tata-Gua passenger train, sounding her on my expected time to reach home. I was visiting home after 2 months, the longest interval in the 3.5 years at NIT Jamshedpur due to my business around hosting the first alumni meet of NIT Jamshedpur and a 15-day train travel across India through Jagriti Yatra. I was just carrying my laptop bag as it was a usual 2/3-day trip and I just had my Compaq laptop, a change of clothes & charger to be precise beside my small blue denim wallet & a Samsung smart phone. In 2012, smart phones were just stepping in and my brother-in law was generous enough to lend it to me to take pictures of the places I visit & the events I attend during Jagriti Yatra. Jagriti Yatra is a train ride across India with 600 yatris from different countries, different walks of life who embark on this journey to learn about various social & business enterprise. In that day’s train journey, I was travelling with a batchmate who would get down 2 stations before mine. We’d travel together many times during the four years, and we’d always take the morning train instead of the evening one. It was a passenger train which was always very crowded, and it passed through many small stations in that belt which were dimly lit, these stations were primarily existing to connect industries to the mining towns of Noamundi, Barbil, Jhinkpani and had goods trains plying with iron ore, limestone, cement, so evening trains seemed unsafe for girls travelling alone. Jhinkpani was a small town in that belt with a cement factory, ACC Cements, and a residential township for it. My dad had booked the station trip which was a Maruti Van to ply the resident of the colony from station to the colony which was around 3 kms away & there was no public transport available in this route. I was waiting to board the train all excited to show my parents the pictures of the Yatra clicked on the borrowed smart phone, I’d also met my sister and niece at Visakhapatnam while we visited Akshaya Patra mega kitchen and I remember getting clicked a cute photo of me holding my niece at the station but my excitement was short lived as soon as I kept the phone in the small zipper pocket of my laptop bag. I was modestly dressed in a kurta and leggings, without pockets of-course, pockets are a recent phenomenon in women’s Indian clothing. So, my phone and wallet were always kept in the bag.
As I boarded the train along with around 20 other people from that gate, I felt a sudden force pulling me back, but I managed to steer my way inside but with an eerie feeling, I quickly reached out to check the tiny pocket immediately only to find that both the wallet & the borrowed phone were gone. A shiver ran up my spine and I started to feel numb. There was Rs 200 in cash in that wallet which was a month of pocket money, my SBI ATM card and college i-card. Now, having zero cash, no phone I went about near the gate to see if I can find it, I spoke to couple of people but barely anyone knew Hindi, and it struck me real hard that reaching home was my single motto now. Although scared that I would be scolded by parents for being reckless, I had a sinking feeling as to how would I break this news to my sister & my brother-in-law whose smart phone I’d lost, what would I do about all the lost contacts that I’d woven so meticulously while organizing the alumni meet, what of the memories that I’d captured during the Yatra. My brain started to fizzle with all these entrapping thoughts when my friend shook me to bring me back to the dreaded train which was my reality then and I started planning my next course of action. I first called my mother from my friend’s phone to tell her about the loss, she comforted me and then she informed my dad to arrange a vehicle from the station, the trip was booked but it’d sometimes leave passengers if there are more people than capacity or not turn up due to technical glitch in the age old van that was used. My friend got down at Chaibasa and my heart started racing more as people around me in the train knew my situation and vulnerability and I tried to pose a strong and confident front. The train took more than 20 minutes to travel 17 kms but for me it seemed like ages, the sight of Jhinkpani station never made me so relieved. I quickly deboarded the train, holding on to my bag tightly this time and found a friend waiting there in his Maruti 800. He happened to have met my dad while coming to the station for a personal work and my dad asked him to pick me as well. I finally reached home travelling without a phone and a penny in pocket, my mom was so glad to see me safe and sound. I was taken aback a little to see her overtly calm demeanor at the face of such an adversary and having no concern whatsoever for my lost phone or the wallet. She prayed and thanked God for my safe return and narrated about her dream which she saw about me the previous night. She was very disturbed by it, and she’d been praying from dawn that day for my well-being as the dream was a very bad omen for me. She felt relieved that it was only few items that were lost, and I was completely unharmed. Mother’s love manifests in mysterious ways I thought while gobbling on my favorite sambar, rice that afternoon. Meanwhile, my dad deactivated my ATM card and arranged an old makeshift phone for me to be used in the remaining two months of college. When I sit back to think, I always think about my mother’s reaction and feel relieved that it happened, may be a way to appease myself of the guilt of not thinking through that somebody must have noticed me putting the phone in the small pocket and chanced upon it in the crowd while boarding. To compensate for the loss of phone, I gifted my sister with a digital camera after I started earning 4 months down from this incident. From then on, I never kept anything valuable in such obvious places in public while I maneuvered my ways in Delhi’s metro or the local trains of Mumbai, in the buses of Visakhapatnam or in the streets of Paris. I hold my wallet tight and my phone close.

2024.05.16 14:28 AdTemporary4257 I (F21) Want To Reach Out To Him (M22).. He Unblocked me… Please Help Me

I (F21) Want To Reach Out To Him (M22).. He Unblocked me… Please Help Me
I really want to reach out to my ex again, because I noticed he unblocked me.
My ex boyfriend (LDR) of 1 year and 3 months broke up with me over text, because I was wanting to spend time with him over FaceTime since we haven’t bonded in a long time and he’s been ‘busy.’ He got angry at me for bringing it up because I knew he’d been busy, but I just felt neglected and felt like he wasn’t making any time for us anymore. So he broke up with me, said a lot of hurtful things like “I’d be happier if I didn’t talk to you, rather than being stressed. Now you know what makes me happy.” It broke my heart even more. I tried to call and text him, but he blocked me on our main source of communication. He said he would’ve blocked me sooner if it weren’t for the money he owes me… I helped him pay off his loan and so that he doesn’t need to take money out of his savings so he could save it for moving to my country in July so we could start out future together.
A week after he broke up with me, I messaged his phone number (I didn’t care about the international bills) and I was sent an ‘automatic’ message like in the photo. I noticed every time I sent a message, 15 minutes later the ‘automatic’ would send through. I even reached out via iMessage to his laptop to explain myself and how I’m willing to do the work and become a better person, move on from our bad memories and process my trauma so I could heal. He left me on read and delivered. And by trauma, I mean he almost left me several times whenever he got stressed or angry.
  • He disappeared suddenly for 1-2 months without saying anything, he’d respond to my messages on and off again. I thought I did something wrong, because whenever we had a misunderstanding, he’d need a few days for some space… I tried to be patient, but I was worried he was leaving me. He did say some mean things to me, “why are you so obsessed?” When I’d try to call him to wake him up for work, as I would usually wake him up. Turns out, he was going through a hard time in his personal life and didn’t want to ‘burden’ me
  • When I visited his home country for a few weeks, we went to an amusement park and while waiting in line, he got angry and stressed because I talked to a lady who was the same ethnicity as me. It was one of those things like “oh you’re from this country? Me too?” Type conversations… He thought I wasn’t having a good time, so he was going to leave me in a hotel room… I begged him and went on my knees for him not to leave me… But then he said “You have no value to me.” Which made me stop… I’m not sure what happened (I forgot), but we were able to patch things up and enjoy the rest of my time in his country
I deleted the messaging app because there was no point for it anymore… I tried to focus on myself during this time. 2.5 weeks later, I had a gut feeling about something… So I redownloaded the app, and I noticed that he unblocked me. I checked what it would be like to block/unblock someone on the app, and he had to manually unblock me and add me back as a friend… when you’re blocked you can’t see their profile/updates, but when you’re blocked you can see this message pop up, warning that you can’t immediately re-add them as a friend after unblocking.
And if you unblock them you have the choice to add them back as a friend again. I also deleted his contact off my phone, because the app automatically syncs your contacts.. so I redownloaded the app again and I was still added as his friend and can view everything on his profile. He still has his profile picture I took of him and didn’t remove his previous profile picture I took of him off his profile.
Maybe I’m thinking and doing too much but I don’t know why he’d unblock me like that without any reason… I tried to narrow the options down and it’s either - He misses me/is curious about me - Doesn’t care at all and moved on so he unblocked me - Unblocked me so he could message me about the money or whatever
I really want to reach out to him. I miss him so much, and I still love him. I just want him back, and I know I shouldn’t reach out to him because he’s the one who dumped me, and out of respect for myself too. I’m worried that if I reach out, he’d get angry at me and get stressed out by me again. I’m not sure what to do. I miss my boyfriend.. Despite the bad memories, we have a lot of good memories too.

2024.05.16 14:17 CutterJon Cleansheet is a broken mess

TL;DR: Avoid Cleansheet until patched and even then, think twice.
I was pretty excited about this shadow drop -- a football keeper game with realistic physics. It's the kind of game I wish there was more of on the PSVR2, something sporty and a different kind of experience with physicality and dimensionality. But there are so many jaw-droppingly terrible things about it. Be careful what you wish for in terms of developers porting their games over...
First the good, as there is a fun experience in here somewhere (as reviewed on other systems). In the main mode you're in net as a play develops in front of you and eventually a shot comes your way. The players are motion captured and it feels realish as they pass the ball from side to side or send in a corner, dodging your motion caputred defenders or some cutouts, and then finally let a shot (or header) rip.
The net isn't full size (although there are three size settings) and there's no real positioning to do, but tracking the play and then reacting to the shot is pretty fun. The ball comes in quick and some shots have spin and bend on them. The players shoot it right next to you a lot instead of picking out corners but that's probably by design because nobody's going to dive for a ball low and to the side. You get 10 random plays at a time and then it gives you an "analysis" of each which just shows you the final path of the ball and how you did. Fair enough.
Now the bad, as the game absolutely collapses beyond this concept. Oh, where to begin. Well, first there's the stuttering. Every much every shot is going to have what looks like a missing couple of frames at some point along its path, and on some longer plays there will be 3-4 such jerks before it gets to you. It's quite jarring in VR when the ball is flying at you at high speed and in a game where the whole point is carefully tracking and reacting to the shot it's so annoying as to be almost unplayable. I don't understand how anyone could play test this even once and think "seems good enough, let's roll".
Then there's the quick reaction mode that fires ball after ball at you from various circles arranged in front of you. But they come RIGHT AT YOU to the point where it's nearly impossible to not save them. Seriously, I got to 370 with no misses on the hardest setting/maximum goal size before calling it quits. And I wasn't even trying, just casually slapping them away like flies at the end. There's just nothing to it. I saw some guy on the leaderboard (of six people so far) get up to 750 but I would bet it was only boredom or life calling and not actually letting in the 10 shots that ends your run that made him stop. A total waste of a mode, you can only think that they tried to recalibrate the difficulty for the psvr2 and blew it somehow. Not fun. Totally embarrassing, really.
Then, there are the microtransactions, and they are pretty bad. Want to face only headers in the main mode? That's another 1/4 the price of the game! Free kicks? another 1/4! Penalties? 1/4! Want some gloves that aren't basic red or blue? That's 1/8 for each (uninspired) pair! A ball that isn't plain white? Same! Especially when the modes are so lacking and broken, walling more variety in shots and some incredibly basic cosmetics behind more cash is somewhere between maddening and hilariously misguided. Sure whales beach themselves now and again, but not like this...
Next, the throwing mechanic is one of the worst I've ever seen in a game. There's a tutorial but It just doesn't work, you just bonk the ball in front of you or weakly forward. Underhand, overhand, it doesn't feel real and it just impossible to throw far or accurately. I guess the bright side is the only place you would ever throw the ball is in the "play area" that has various targets which will keep you occupied for about two minutes (throwing and using a catapult thingy) before you never go back. The Quest version has two other modes ("Goalie wars" and "Target Clash") that probably used throwing (or even kicking) more which they dropped for the PSVR2 version. (It also seems there's an unimplemented placeholder for "training sessions" in the main mode as it's a menu that just says you don't have any saved and has no indication how to get any).
I guess this is minor compared to the other technical problems, but as well as open-handing the ball they also implemented grabbing it, and punching it away -- but there's no point to them. In real football, you might choose to punch the ball out of necessity as it's traveling too fast and you can't catch it cleanly. That is not the case here -- you can one-hand slap (or even backhand) even the hardest driven shot, it makes no difference. You also palm balls with one hand (?!?) by pressing R2 to catch them but why you would ever do that other than to hear the weird sound it makes I don't know. There are no rebounds or handling required. Open handing everything is definitely the way to go, as it covers the most space.
Anyway, there you have it. Assuming they patch the stuttering, this is a very limited game with some strange gameplay decisions. As of now. it's an avoid at all costs.

2024.05.16 14:17 instilled100 Scared of a big mortgage!

Hi all!
First of all - NOT treating this as actual finance advice, we will certainly sit down with a professional before anything became real. Just trying to wrap our heads around what's generally considered 'normal'.
27 & 25 year old couple, currently home owners. We'd like to think about kids in another year or two, but long term, staying here isn't a great option. The house is too small for a family, the available schools are absolutely not an option (like, the worst of the worst), and while not a necessity, we sacrificed a bunch of lifestyle factors to get into the market and buy a first home. There's no rush, but making a move and settling before a child comes along, would be great if it were financially responsible.
Problem is, increasing our mortgage is daunting. Currently, we owe 350k, on a house worth around 750k today. Realistically, we'd have to spend about 1.1m to get something that fits the bill.
Aiming for a first home was straightforward - get to 20% deposit, don't be extravagant, just try and get into market. Now, the possibilities are much more open ended, and I'm stressing myself out even thinking about what is/isn't a stupid decision, and whether loaning to the tune of 700k (if we cashed in on 400k from our current home) is crazy.
Rough overview:
220k combined income
Side business that brings in a little, but is more of a hobby with a little cash bonus. Maybe 1000 a month in profit
350k owed on ~750k property HELP loans 30k and 25k No other debts Super 90k and 25k
Cash flow very healthy, little savings due to just getting married and going on honeymoon. Bad move financially, but no regrets.
Only major assets are cars worth around 45k and 5k, both owned
What do you think? Sensible, moderately risky, straight up insane? Crunching some super rough numbers, if we took a 700k loan at the current Commbank variable rate, we'd have about 2500 spare a fortnight after budgeting all of our bills and expenses. That's excluding the side business, as it's fairly sporadic and we treat it as a bonus. My biggest worry isn't so much affording it now, it's what happens when a child is in the picture.
Thank you!

accidentally activated emergency SOS
i have a habit of snoozing my alarm in my sleep, like without actually being conscious to know i’m doing it. i when this happens i just hit the side button a million times until it goes off. it’s never activated emergency SOS before but this morning i woke up to that siren warning sound coming out of my phone and picked it up to see it was about to call 911. i clicked the “cancel” button but i got this notification afterwards. did it actually notify emergency services even if i hit cancel?

2024.05.16 14:03 AblePost7537 Kentucky mortgage first time home information

Here's a comprehensive guide for first-time homebuyers in Kentucky:
1. Loan Programs: - FHA Loans: Backed by the Federal Housing Administration, these loans offer low down payment options (as low as 3.5% of the purchase price) and flexible credit score requirements. - VA Loans: Exclusive to eligible veterans, active-duty service members, and their spouses, VA loans require no down payment and often have competitive interest rates. - USDA Loans: Aimed at rural and suburban homebuyers, USDA loans offer 100% financing and low-interest rates. Income limits apply. - KHC Loans: Offered by the Kentucky Housing Corporation, these loans come with down payment assistance and other incentives for first-time buyers.
2. Credit Score Requirements: - FHA loans typically accept credit scores as low as 580, although higher scores can lead to better rates. - VA loans are more flexible and may approve loans with lower scores, often starting around 620. - USDA loans usually require a minimum score of 640. - KHC loans have varying credit score requirements depending on the specific program.
3. Down Payment Assistance: - Kentucky offers various down payment assistance programs, especially through the KHC, which can help cover upfront costs for qualifying buyers. - FHA loans allow down payment assistance from family, employers, or nonprofit organizations.
4. Income Limits: - USDA and KHC loans have income limits based on the area and family size. Exceeding these limits may affect eligibility.
5. Property Eligibility: - USDA loans are limited to eligible rural areas defined by the USDA. - FHA, VA, and KHC loans are more flexible regarding property location but may have specific property condition requirements.
6. Mortgage Insurance: - FHA loans require both upfront and annual mortgage insurance premiums. - VA loans have a funding fee but do not require monthly mortgage insurance. - USDA loans have upfront and annual guarantee fees. - KHC loans may have mortgage insurance requirements depending on the specific program.
7. Loan Approval Process: - Pre-approval is crucial and involves a thorough review of your financial situation by a lender. - Gather necessary documents such as income statements, tax returns, and credit history for the application process. - Work with a reputable mortgage broker like Joel Lobb who specializes in Kentucky homebuyer programs for guidance and assistance throughout the process.
8. Closing Costs: - Factor in closing costs, which typically range from 2% to 5% of the home's purchase price, and may include fees for appraisal, inspection, title insurance, and more.
9. Homebuyer Education: - Consider attending homebuyer education courses offered by HUD-approved agencies. These courses provide valuable insights into the homebuying process, budgeting, and homeownership responsibilities.
10. Post-Purchase Expenses: - Plan for ongoing homeownership costs such as property taxes, homeowners insurance, maintenance, and utilities.
Navigating the homebuying process can be complex, but with the right information and support, you can make informed decisions and achieve your goal of homeownership in Kentucky.

2024.05.16 13:54 Old_North8419 Who would you rather be in a realtionship with for long term: somebody who has a great personality and knows how to love but he or she is not super hot (good looking), or a hot looking man & woman, but they have a crap personality baring no respect back towards you?

bearing\*
You want to be committed into a relationship for a long term, but appearance is not always the key factor, the most overlooked part is their attitude and personality, since that is not an attribute visible to the naked eye at first glance.
Money is out of the question, it does matter if they are rich or not, even if they have fancy attire and plenty of cash to spare, despite them being well off visually, but you are stumbled to learn that he or she has no respect towards others or themselves.
You encounter a good looking (not hot like a model) man or woman, who earns enough, but remain indifferent to what job they have, instead looking more on if they will treat you as a decent human rather than trash, as that is more important than their looks alone.
It's like this:
The man or woman is good looking (but not attractive akin to a model or a movie celebrity) The man or woman is hot (akin to looking like a hollywood celebrity or a famous invididual)
Despite him or her having an average look, they have no ill intentions towards you. Despite him or her looking hot, they have predatory motives to trick you.
They know how to love, respect you regardless treating you like a decent human being. They don't know how to love, disrespect everyone around them no matter where.
The guy has average physique (not obese) but he respects women from all backgrounds. The guy is a bodybuilder but he has zero respect for women, treating them like objects.
The girl remains indifferent to your appearance, she only wants a guy who respects her back. The girl looks hot as a model, but she lacks both a good personality and behavior in return.
He's doesn't rely on your money, as he earns a decent amount from his own job. He only wants to be with you for this reason: you come from a rich family.
She is not a gold digger, as she has her own income, not relying on you. She only wants to be with you for this reason: you are very rich and have a high salary.
He does not cheat on you, staying true to his word, committed to a long term relationship. He cheats on you with other women, basically ignoring your call for his attention and love.
She remains true to her word, not cheating on you with other guys behind your back. She continues to hook up with other guys despite being together for a long time.
So to put it, would you rather be in a long term relationship with an:

I am just looking for anyone who cares or has any idea what I can do about this. The govt still wants their loan but the things that happened to me here are messed up!
My name is Keith and I’m a 28 yo from Iowa, I am an entrepreneur. I didn’t really learn much of anything in school at Hawkeye all they talked about was little kids and getting drunk . learned it is terrible to be in construction because they are homophobic, racist and child molesters. It’s been awhile since I’ve able face this it’s to hard on me so I’m behind but my reason for this is to make Hawkeye give the IRS the money back I got a loan from y’all to go to their school. And they are trying to collect after I was kicked out because kids in my class kept talking about raping kids and I didn’t like it. So I didn’t have to return. I was a rape victim and they shunned me out so they could still be pedos I would love to get all the money I paid them plus 10$ per hour for all the time I spent there to be treated like I was the bad guy and not the kids talking about raping kids They let me pass the heavy machinery without testing and gave me a 1k discount with some certificates I’ll never use but to wipe up garbage. Please please give a crap even tho I’m a man and they are men it’s not right. Then the kids confronted me in front of the whole class but they didn’t repeat what they said they just said I should Fuck off in front of the teacher they let a kid hit another with a hammer I sent the video to the teacher and he took the next 2 days off like nothing happened. Please help me I need them to pay my taxes cause they didn’t fulfill their end of the education… or let me guess like every other person I try to get ahold of oh I need to call someone else? 😩 please help I was hoping to raise like 20k hahahah I’m so funny. My real goal is for someone to just care and do something about this shit. Thanks for reading this has been years now I can finally come and type this without crying

2024.05.16 13:49 kingadriano Credit/loan decision

Ordered an inventory MYLR last night because of the financing promotion but still haven’t gotten a decision on my loan. It seems like a lot of people on here have said it takes a few minutes but it’s been probably 12+ hours and I haven’t heard anything. I sent a message via the Tesla app and also haven’t gotten a response.
Is this normal? Not sure if I should wait it out until the end of the day or try calling in. Want to pick it up this weekend so need to get some kind of answer quickly.

2024.05.16 13:47 Boyw2peenas Do I have a chance at retiring at an early age?

26m, about 50k in a Roth IRA, 24k in a traditional ira, 2k in a 457 split between Roth and traditional , and about 3k in a general stock account. My cash savings is roughly 3k (plan to increase to 10k). I currently work for the government on year 2 of 30 for an 80 percent pension . I just took police exam and waiting for a call back from department . I'm saving 20 percent into my Roth which allows me to max out each year (just shy of 21 dollars an hour ). I am putting 10 dollars a week into my 457 accounts , but I plan on increasing when the plan allows me to (they don't think I work there yet they still take money). I do not own a home, but plan on buying land and then doing a a builder loan. What do I need for a percent to save in the 457 to ensure I can retire at 59 ? Should I count out the pension and assume I'll never get it? Am I even on track to close to retiring based on percents? Should I consider 20 percent into the Roth and traditional 457 for a total savings rate of 40 percent? I have a bachelors in business administration but couldn't find a job in finance. I enjoy government benefits so I don't intend on leaving until at least 10 years so I can collect 20 percent of pension. Any tips to make my life easier?

2024.05.16 13:45 abnormal_ash1995 Questions

My husband and I are both veterans who live in Eastern NC. I used my entitlement when purchasing our current home. He has his entitlement still to use. Looking into a VA construction loan and really liking the barndominium look. We do not own any land so will need to find some in the process and hopefully use the VA construction loan for the land and build. I do have a ton of questions though.
  1. Does the VA have certain stipulations on the type of home you can build? Do they approve barndominium floor plans?
  2. Do we as the buyers pay out of pocket (separate) from the construction if the land needs to be cleared, septic installed, etc.?
  3. Any idea on estimated closing costs? Or how much cash we would realistically need for this process?
  4. Does the lender we decide to work with assist at all in finding or choosing a builder? And do builders have any deposit required if the lender says 100% financing?
  5. How long is the process from start to finish? Like are we talking a year or is that unrealistic?
  6. Would we have to be approved for two mortgages if we wanted to stay in our home while they build? Or would we be required to sell our home and rent in the mean time?
Any answers you all may have will be helpful! It is hit or miss trying to find real answers from anyone that has been through the process or actually has answers.

2024.05.16 13:29 Angusburgerman I would HIGHLY recommend Momentum 4 wireless for gaming

This won't be an audio review. I'm no audiophile so this is an amateur review from a gaming perspective.
I am using the M4 connected to my PC using the Avantree DG60P (bluetooth) and it works beautifully. The delay is about 60ms and to a professional gamer that is a big deal but for casuals like myself it is unnoticable. I play competitive shooters as well and I do not notice a difference comparing the M4 to my old wired headset in terms of delay. This makes the M4 a great headset for combined gaming, study, commuting etc.
The audio quality is great for music and gaming. you can hear where people's footsteps and gunshots are coming from clearly.
Its very comfortable, I can wear it for hours on end without pains, and my ears fit inside the cups without touching anything. My ears usually hurt to most headphones but the M4's are great!
The touch controls are fine, volume adjusting is not the best but thats just being nitpicky. Build quality of the headphones feel sturdy and high quality. The fabric headband feels premium and is a nice touch.
ANC is really good, probably not the best out there but its good enough to block out my girlfriend gaming next to me while I study lol
Only main problem is the microphone. Using it will make the headset go into call mode and halve the audio quality. You will need to buy a separate mic to plug into your computer (mixed opinions online about plugging into headset itself, still looking into it)
Money saving tips: - Buy refurbished from sennheiser official, you save SO MUCH money and it is brand new. Mine still had the sticky plastic on the headphones. - There is currently a Honey Gold offer for these headphones, I managed to snag £40 worth of amazon vouchers in cash back (I'm in UK)

2024.05.16 13:26 anjelrocker AITA for tipping a server behind my parents back.

I (36f) go out with my parents to eat (69m) (59f) every so often. (My brother and sister usually come with us and my sister’s boyfriend) Sometimes, I pick up the tab and sometimes they do. My father has the mentality that if you are giving them a cash tip then it’s okay to tip 10%. I am very much of a mind that if they do a good job it’s 18% and do an amazing job it’s 20%. Give or take.
Usually, I tip more behind their backs in cash or if I’m paying I will give them 15 and then my Dad gives them some cash. Well, my parents caught on to this.
It was my birthday last night and the total came to like 340 dollars for 7 people including my partner. (This only happens once a year and last year I was out of the country) I also treat my parents on their birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, etc etc. So, it is transactional.
My Father was only tipping 40 dollars for a table of 7 where some of us are a little demanding. The restaurant also gave me a free dessert. I waited until they left the restaurant to tip another 20 dollars. (I should have given her more now that I think about it.)
After I came out, my Father called me out and got upset that I tipped more money. I told him that some of us are not cheapskates. Well, obviously he got a knot in his face about me calling him that. But, come on… 40 bucks on 340 is a slap in the face especially in this economy and when she did a good job at taking care of us.
I personally think wait staff should be paid a better wage but like, this is my way of helping others in the service industry because I’ve been there.
So, AITA?
Edit: I forgot I turned 36 😂

2024.05.16 13:25 Kallipiak I feel totally lost, need new job

I'm in my late 30's. Never held a job more than 4.5 years. Had had 23 jobs from fast food, seasonal campgrounds, little arcade-like shops, entertainment facilities (arcade games, rock climbing), childcare, Call centre (both entry level and team lead), bookkeeping, newspaper delivery, bakery, cash collector at football stadium....
I was just laid off from my last job. While I've been on a forced LOA for my mental health (my situation, yes it's was possible for reasons, so not going I to that). I've just been approved for Long Term Disability however I'm also just lost as to where to go.
I also have autism and adhd which makes things extra difficult..
I'm working with supports to try to learn my values and interests/ pains and personality types etc to learn what might be good fits, but I'm hoping someone might have some insight..
I'm really good at being open to help wherever (but also now trying to learn how to dial that back so I don't get taken advantage of again), I'm approve, great with learning new technology and have trained new staff and clients in jobs. I'd love to have some creative aspect but I'm not sure what that might look like. Prefer to be on-site in office as I don't have a hom office. I'm good at finding things that don't make sense (documenting things for easier step by step, checking how something is written from an outsiders pov, anticipating things to try to prevent confusion). I don't like repetitive and monotonous tasks, but repetitive with variety is good. Example: the difference between monotonous mostly at a fast food place (take an order, fill an order, deal with complaints but done in a few minutes pet person) and training someone that you'll have further contact with for follow up questions, longer times together and relationship building (whether staff or clients).
Hope that makes sense... :s
I am in Central Canada as well, smaller city. I feel like I've been staring down every business I pass trying to imagine if I'd want to work there.... Part of it is the burnout, I get that, but I just can't find anything that seems remotely interesting... and I can't settle for entry level stuff as I need to hit a certain wage and need extended health care. 😮‍💨
