O Ronaldo e o Pepe deixam a seleção a meio do Europeu e metem a federação e o Martinez em tribunal.

2024.05.16 16:21 AlexGamr0X0 Ronaldo's Fernandes tip

Cristiano Ronaldo has urged Al-Nassr to sign his former Manchester United team-mate Bruno Fernandes this summer.
Fernandes' future at Old Trafford is currently uncertain and SunSport revealed this week that the 29-year-old is considering a move ahead of next season.
It comes after the playmaker hinted earlier this month that he could quit for a fresh challenge after Euro 2024.
According to the Mirror, that fresh challenge could be with Ronaldo at Al-Nassr as the five-time Ballon d'Or winner wants his current club to sign his Portugal team-mate, who has been made their major summer transfer target.
Al-Nassr are willing to do whatever it takes to sign him but they accept it would be difficult to lure him to Saudi Arabia.

2024.05.16 07:01 OpinionTiny9688 How mbappe gonna work in Madrid attack?

Hello, i'm a Madrid fan and i watch PSG games since three years, i just can't understand the hype about mbappe as he is the same as CR7 or Messi when they were AT 25 years.
Technically , Vinicius,Rodrigo,Diaz are better than him in miles.
But you gonna Say , he is a top scorer , i Say yes but that not everything in nowadays, Real Madrid new system work because everyone can score and everyone defend, that what is happening right now, and mbappe is so lazy about defending. Please do not Say he Can play as a striker, this year, he played all of it as a striker, he is so bad at it, he is not a Ronaldo when he changed his position from LW to ST , even that , Madrid game was just about assisting cristiano because 99% he score it, because he know how to move as a striker and that mbappe don't know.
Even that he's best position is LW, how it gonna work since vinicius Always there.
He's a player reliant alot to his teammates ,he shine when he stand as the only hero in the team, in PSG Messi/Neymar, his attitude was toxic, how he gonna work with bellingham or Vini? How he gonna accept sub when ancelotti want to, because as we know, he Always sub Vini, bellingham, Rodrigo without any problem.
For me, i can't see him doing Big things in Madrid while Vinicius IS there, and more of that , the system needs a good technically players, and mbappe is not what madridista think he is, they think that he is Ronaldo at 25 years , he is not, and also he is so bad against teams that play low blocks and that what Liga teams often do. Right now, i only see that he will help Madrid financially, but in football , its hard to see , and i just don't want to see my team with toxicity as it was in PSG Messi Neymar mbappe.
How you see him in the team of Madrid ? Do you think he will success or he will be another Hazard?

2024.05.15 13:48 LongLiveNeechi Winning mentality

Hi,
This may not be a post that is suited to this sub but I have always wanted to know this and Dr K has helped me in a lot of other issues that I have had.
My question is that I am a Football (Soccer) coach and there is a constant phrase that is used " Winning Mentality" I have always been curious about what this is. I have looked through many books and academic articles but I have never found an answer that seems satisfying. It seems like it is just a buzzword that has become a part of sports language.
I have wanted to learn about having a "winning mentality" because I partially want to adopt it and also be able to coach it into my players. The problem I tend to also come across is that when I see a team or athlete with "A Winning Mentality" I can kind of recognise it, that this player or team has what it takes to go far. Its just this weird thing of doing whatever it takes to win and never giving in.
Another problem is that these people tend to have a form of perfectionism that I read is unhealthy but then some people claim that this perfectionism is what makes them great.
Players and Athletes with this mindset:
Conor McGregor, Roy Keane, Wayne Rooney, Kobe Bryant, Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods etc
I have worked in Talent Identification and Scouting, this has always been something that is intriguing to me. I don't know if this post makes an sense but and maybe I am just venting a bit.
