Maladon Moore was a knight from House Moore and a member of the Kingsguard during the reign of King Maegor I Targaryen. When the king suspected Queen Tyanna of the Tower of treason, Maladon and Owen were dispatched to seize the queen and deliver her to the dungeons, where Maegor was said to have slain her while Maladon was present.
After Maegor died in 48 AC and his nephew King Jaehaerys I Targaryen took the Iron Throne, Maladon was accused of being involved in the death of Queen Ceryse, allegedly restraining her when Ser Owen accidentally killed her. Maladon denied these charges, insisting she died of "shrewishness". While the charges were never proven, Maladon lost his head for his involvement in Queen Tyanna's death, of which he was guilty.
When Queen Tyanna of the Tower admitted to poisoning Queen Alys Harroway during her pregnancy, Tyanna promised the same would happen to Elinor. Tyanna was proven correct when Elinor gave birth to a stillborn abomination said to have been born eyeless and with small wings. Elinor was one of the two wives who survived the king, the other being Queen Rhaena Targaryen.
After King Maegor's death, Lord Daemon Velaryon proposed that King Jaehaerys I Targaryen marry Queen Elinor to reconcile with Maegor's supporters when a bride was being considered for the king, but nothing came of the proposal. After Jaehaerys's ascent, Elinor departed King's Landing dressed in the robes of a penitent. She visited her two elder sons at the Eyrie and Highgarden before retiring to her father's seat at the Three Towers with her youngest son.
Later, King Jaehaerys commanded Elinor to go forth and spread his Doctrine of Exceptionalism to the peoples of the Seven Kingdoms, as well as the goodness of Jaehaerys and Alysanne, becoming one of the Seven Speakers. House Rosby was one of the first houses to yield peacefully to House Targaryen during Aegon's Conquest, surrendering to Rhaenys Targaryen and Meraxes. Immediately following the wedding, Maegor declared Rhaena's elder daughter Aerea as his heir until he had sons of his own, while disinheriting Rhaena's youngest brother Jaehaerys in the same decree.
After Maegor’s death, discussion arose as to who had the better claim to the Iron Throne. There were some who suggested that Rhaena's claim, as the firstborn child of King Aenys I Targaryen and Queen Alyssa Velaryon, was the strongest. Her gender argued against her, however, and Rhaena herself had come to loathe King's Landing and its court. The claims of her daughters were argued for as well. If Maegor was to be considered a usurper, the true king would have been Rhaena's first husband, Aegon, who had claimed the throne before Jaehaerys had. As such, some suggested the throne should pass to one of his daughters by Rhaena, Aerea or Rhaella.
As time passed, Rhaena began to resent the fact that her claim to the throne, and that of her daughters, had been dismissed in favor of Jaehaerys, to whom she began to refer as "my baby brother". In addition, Rhaena begrudged her mother for promoting Jaehaerys's claim over her own.
Ser Walton Towers was granted Harrenhal by King Maegor I Targaryen in 44 AC after winning a melee in Lord Harroway's Town, but Walton died soon after from his wounds. Harrenhal thus passed to his eldest son. Lord Jordan remained loyal to Maegor during the king's wars, and Lord Rosby were the last to see the king alive before Maegor's death on the Iron Throne. Along with Lords Darklyn and Staunton, Jordan yielded the Red Keep to Prince Jaehaerys, Princess Rhaena, and Princess Alysanne Targaryen. The three lords were sent to the black cells, but were eventually pardoned by King Jaehaerys I after surrendering some of their land.
Jordan eventually died of a chest congestion. Harrenhal passed to Jordan's last surviving son, Maegor Towers, as Jordan's older sons had all died fighting for King Maegor.
Maegor's father, Lord Jordan Towers, was one of the last lords of the Seven Kingdoms who remained loyal to King Maegor I Targaryen. All of Jordan's sons died fighting in the king's wars, with the exception of young Maegor.
Maegor became Lord Towers after the death of his father due to a chest congestion. When King Jaehaerys I Targaryen began a royal progress in 53 AC to celebrate the new year, his first stop was to see the new Lord of Harrenhal, then only nine years of age.
Maegor was an impoverished lord who resided in the Tower of Dread with only a cook and three men-at-arms. Since the rest of Harrenhal was empty, King Jaehaerys settled his widowed sister, Rhaena Targaryen, in the Widow's Tower in 56 AC. Maegor and Rhaena eventually became friends, and she cared for his servants after Maegor passed away in 61 AC. Harrenhal was granted to House Strong after Rhaena passed away in 73 AC.
Maegor was sickly and poor.

Maegor, joyful, showered both his wives with gifts and honors, and granted new lands and offices to their fathers, brothers, and uncles. Unfortunately, Jeyne's labor began three months early, and she gave birth to a stillborn child, monstrous, lacking arms and legs but possessing both male and female genitalia. Jeyne herself died soon after.

In 48 AC, Tyanna of the Tower confessed to having poisoned Jeyne's child in the womb.

I see posts and reels that say "just apply for X credit card and use it to pay all of your bills and then use points from the card to get travel for free..."
It takes me an inordinate amount to time just to book a flight from point A to point B because I'm afraid I will book the wrong day, or accidentally book a 4:30 AM flight instead of PM, etc.
If I had to do extra steps and keep track of purchases and points I would surely eff up my flights or my credit score in the process. Or I would apply for the card and have 50,000 points sitting on my account and would just forget to use them.

My boyfriend and I pay (we have a joint bank account) the mother of his children a set amount a month. We have no custody agreement with her, nor any set child support, we just pay her.
She is technically the “custodial” parent, because she doesn’t let us see them a lot. The verbal agreement was every weekend (we’d do more if he wasn’t on evening shifts & she wasn’t stingy about it or weird about them staying with me only) I’ve never given her a reason to feel like this. I work full time, I am recently 29, I work for the department of defense, I was in the army for 8 years until I got out, no legal trouble. She lets me watch them alone when it conveniences her and she has something to do. Like there’s no reason for her to be like she is. She also lets them go over and spend the night at her new husband’s brother’s house alone. So, yeah, there’s a double standard there.
Well, recently, we found out she’s been getting welfare and food stamps. She has a new husband, pregnant, and a total bum if I’m being honest. We give her more than enough every month and then some. But she’s ALWAYS asking for more money. Her car’s broken, she needs car insurance money, her rent is late, kid’s gymnastics needs paid (even tho we already sent her money this month to pay it) pay for the kid’s entire birthday party, all of their Christmas and birthday gifts because “she just doesn’t have the money” ALL. OF. IT. She also lets her new husband eat all of the good food like Chick-fil-A when they order it and then tell her kids to go get canned food out of the pantry. Won’t buy them new shoes. Took them school shopping at “Larry’s garage” and that’s her husbands brother. The boy showed up in pants he was literally walking on.
Ok, we let it slide. We haven’t been giving her more money for the past 9 months or so, instead buying whatever she says she “needs” for the “kids” which is a BS excuse most of the time and she acts pissy about it when we actually buy what she says she needs. Recently, something happened that just didn’t sit right with us. She told his entire family (they were together for 9 years, 2 kids together) that we don’t pay her anything & that she’s struggling financially. She has no college education, no plans to do better for herself in order to get a better job, she works as a substitute lunch lady and her new husband doesn’t even have a car. Said that we leave it all on her. That WE never ask for the kids or want to see them because we are “living it up” which we are not. At all. We’re still in our one br apartment trying to find another place we can afford (even tho we make well over 100k a year together) and she’s in a 4 br house she can’t even afford with a pool in the back yard & a dead beat husband.
My question here is, even though we’re not officially paying her through a court mandated process, on our own free will, can she be penalized for not reporting that for not reporting it to the WIC/DHR office? Was she supposed to claim that on taxes? We have a custody hearing on June 3rd for all of this, but honestly I’m sick of her & her lies, vindictive nature. I know she didn’t claim any of it on taxes, but I AM going to turn her into the welfare office if I have the grounds to. We feel like the kids would be better off with us anyways. She cannot financially support them, which is a major factor in raising a child.

Also for the battle pass token that I should have one of, is there any way to see that somewhere on the account to confirm I have it. I never used it before so I should have it since I have everything else but would just like to confirm. I assume if I wasn’t getting the current relaunch battle pass for free I could just see it when I go to purchase it like with characters but since I got the pass for free I can’t find it anywhere. I bought the Aegis Titan Invictus Starter Pack that is on sale in the game.
But when entering the game, the ship I own from free flight still "remains the same", and the starting money was not credited to my account.

So, Multiversus is back and I'm having fun with it. However, I have one gripe with the game. You earn nothing after a match. Back in the Beta you'd earn both Battle Pass XP and Gold after a match. Even though these rewards were rather low n comparison to the weekly and daily rewards which were the main gain for these rewards they were still enjoyable.
Now it kinda feels like I don't really earn something for performing well in the game. You mostly earn perk points from leveling up both your account and character and as a beta player I own more then enough from them. I have to admit, this complaint is rather naggy and I'm feeling spoiled because the beta gave and other games with battle passes give you BP-progress, especially if you are performing well. Like, I'm supposed to play for competing, right?
Maybe we could get some Battle Pass XP for playing and winning matches. Like, two for a match and another two for winning. A Battle Pass level requires 1500-ish points, maybe even more, so I feel like this wouldn't completely invalidate daily missions or let people finish the pass in no time, but it would be enough to tickle my dopamine distributors and makes each played and won round much more enjoyable.

Hey y'all, long time lurker, first time poster. I'm currently 3 weeks into a planned 3 month no alcohol period prior to my 35th. I did Dry January earlier (as I do annually) and posted in a different sub of how much better I felt at the end of the month and how little I missed alcohol this time around.
Unfortunately, some old bad habits reared their head in the following months and I've had too many days in a row of drinking up to 3/4 of a liter of tequila alone a day than I'd care to admit. A few friends commented on me showing up to events a bit buzzed. I was (and continue to be) stretched at work.
Yearning for a change, and hangover free weekends, I made an intention (promise?) of no alcohol for three months in the lead up to my birthday. 3 weeks in, I feel great! Sincerely no desire to drink alcohol and disappoint myself. Loving the better sleep, savings, and full recollection of conversations and evenings.
So all this said, I'm going to an all inclusive resort in Mexico with a few friends for a week of diving. That's the main purpose of the trip -- lots and lots of diving. I'll be 2/3 through my original 3 month goal.
My question is: how would some of y'all handle this situation? I'll see how I'm feeling in the lead up to the trip and when I'm there, but I'm currently open to setting a firm rule towards drinking that I discuss with my friends beforehand to help keep me accountable. Perhaps something like up to two drinks after one dive that week with my friends.
Not sure. I'm feeling really good about my sober journey so far, and currently feel very motivated to finish it out, but I also want to be realistic that I'll probably be the most tempted than I'll ever at the beach for a week with open bars everywhere. I don't want to set myself up for disappointment / backtrack too much on progress.

I’ll be honest, if it wasn’t for the war on hip hop that B.Dot’s controversial end of year list caused, I may have never heard this album. Per usual, his selection of artists naturally created cultural discord leaving many steadfast in disagreement. As I witnessed the contention on various social channels, and the numerous opinions of its sequence, this album regardless of its placement, was undoubtedly included.
By the title, I was interested, and taken after the first listen. Immediately, the biblical mockery at its commencement was more than enough to occupy my attention. I could not believe what I was hearing. This wasn’t the usual inclusion of an artist's personal faith walk in music, but rather the tone of a self appointed godhead taking his sovereign position. It was his passion, and his candid incivility towards the church's consecration. Rolls Royce Break Lights, and it’s exuberant production acting as the album’s prelude, setting the atmosphere for Cook’s word.
“I’m the truth, I’m the light, I’m the way”
Bread of Life was a swift change in tone, settling the congregation in their seats while Cook’s reasoned his wise tales. This song was delivered with the posture of an expert, detailing his past in a way that tantalized those who’ve never walked in his shoes, finding the treasure that he did. He had glory and knew it, and in his unapologetic jovial tone, made sure we knew as well. This was an episodical account of events that placed him in such a position of opulence. I listened closely.
“Out of all these rap niggas, I’m the goldest, 24 karat glow, my soul lit”
It was beautifully irreverent, the robe of a street priest and the honesty of his unabashed life experiences proving to be more potent than any scriptural teachings. A master at his craft, rap and otherwise making his hustle a joyous, celebratory occasion. A pronounced success separate from one found in the lust of the music business. In the album, Cooks, regardless of whether he ever released music, was already successful. This was his version of the American dream, manifested in a way that supersedes the road more traveled, and the prerogative that way affords you.
By Crosses, he was loud and clear as the dark, ominous production ensured that we understood him. In it was a vulnerable frustration, standing firm in his belief, and the inevitable position he would take in hip hop. He wasn’t looking for acceptance, or a welcoming of any kind. Nor was this an attempt to alert the culture of his plan to capture the coveted crown; he had one already. His position was unlike any other, blatantly disrupting the culture’s comfort zone and deriding its slumber to his advantage.
As I replayed this track, I heard something different every time. More passion, and also to my surprise, his lyrics working in concert with scripture. Personally, I find religion a travesty, and regardless if that conclusion stems from my own experiences or not, it is a dangerous falsehood usually consumed by those left void by life’s noncompliance. However, similar to Matthew 7:13, Cooks sermonizes the inevitable ruin associated with the sacrifice of fame, even if that notability is found in street life. In the mood of Crosses was Cook's inveterate position firmly planted on his own conquests.
“Face it, Feds gave us a pop quiz and we aced it, don’t let ‘em tangle up your laces”
Aside from the greatness of the album’s entirety, this song was a magnum opus of its own. A detailed account of his rising, the culmination and even the lucre of his choices; however, so richly nestled in ascendancy. Do I think he’s suggesting his listeners partake in street life? I doubt it, but rather to run your own course, at your pace, all while being mindful of its enmity. I think in the manner of Cook’s story telling more highlights the self determination esteemed to those of personal triumph. That even in drug related subject matter, his message balances the consequence of his ways of life, but also its predestined victory.
“I’m thinkin’ when this shit over, what happened to your soul”
Another well favored track, Gloria Blemente and it’s flirtatious tone. Cook’s skillful, endearing honesty made it one I’m sure the ladies of his fan base relished as much as I did. This was the sincerity of the one that makes you smile though you’re upset with him. The one whose lifestyle scares you, though not enough to leave. The hustler, or king of the city reigning in the splendor that often blinds your better judgment. This was dope boy romance, in the scintilla of charm he can afford while his guard remains high. Overall, as the consequences of his decisions loom, you stay because he means well. We’ve all been there, and despite the circumstance, he brings a new woman out of you, and you like it.
For every song, a highly cinematic thread binding them together and this was no different. A gentleman to his sound, lively yet relaxed in the delivery knowing his own knighthood. A craftsman that has used the dignified autonomy of his life for justifiable self righteousness. Who could stop him, or for a second, attempt to discredit his past being the fuel to his freedom; the freedom he deemed necessary. Enamored with his confidence, I couldn't help but ponder the genesis of such personal sovereignty. This wasn't the incipient album of a new artist with apparent trepidation. This was a master class, a sermon of godship carefully crafted to the internal betterment of its hearers. Also, a candor contrary to his seemingly enigmatic nature. Not much social media, hardly a collection of interviews, but the roots of the culture allowing the constitution of his word to live on its own. The perfect literary conveyance complementing the legendary production of Roc Marciano; all the makings of an artist ahead of his time. This album, a bar of excellence unable to be contained by any list, but rather a well sequenced screenplay perfected in lyrical audacity. The story of destiny's obstacle course he conquered with ease at every turn. Today's Illmatic.
Like many of us, he could clearly see the deficit in the culture, not only by the name of the album, but also its content. This time, it was his decision, not that of the industry to extend an invitation. This was his principle, and in the savor of this album came a cosmic shift in rap and life that, like the word of God, teaches to find joy in indignation. This was a law of personal liberty found in those who have persevered despite their circumstance, and the celebration of it. Isn't this what we all strive for? Shouldn't this be our dream? That self sufficiency reigns, and in friction we find our way with a fuck you as comely as Cooks forthright character. Him audaciously choosing a self belief rather than the force fed pious concept of a savior; Cooks being his own. I appreciate that, as many are deceived by the manipulative ways of the church, neglecting the detriment to the believers. Maybe that’s why I enjoyed Cooks disposition and not so much the religious undertones of other albums. In life, we often decide so ignorantly to believe in the numinous ways of a divine being, and that somehow those teachings will abate our own inherent experiences. What about those unafraid to apply the word until we see the gravity of it in our predestination? Maybe until we reign and our word, or our law drives the course of our fortune. Isn’t that true faith? If so, that faith is exemplified in this album regardless of anyone’s consent. What if beauty for ashes truly comes when you construct it? What if we are wholly “free indeed” when we’ve run through the ribbon at the place we marked?
“Why you think they call this shit a race cause it’s a fuckin race bitch, and they made you believe that you ain’t even racin”
What if our firmest victory arrives when we can feed our families without lack after the suffering of perpetual poverty? Isn’t that joy in the morning? In life, there is no instruction manual and many of us bear adversity despite good doing. Out of that is often born a frustration that fuels us to circumvent the supposed road of truth until we find our own. That’s what I hear in this album. I’m unaware of Cook’s personal reasons for his jarring, highly derisive religious context but I understand my own. Reasonable Drought was evidentiary support to the subjective matter of success. The real drought in my opinion, is the deficiency of those bold enough to speak like him, and win how they see fit.
I commend Cooks for his valor, for his own way, and his refusal of conformity. This album was sexy defiance, the sonic display of power, finding the source of it in self; like we all should. As the film played in my mind and the soundtrack in my ears, I thought of what I'd say to him if we ever crossed paths. I'd ask him of the origin of the church's mockery, then tell him of my own, and how I fancy it. Also, how his candid example was not only enjoyable, but a requisite in my own life. Reasonable Drought was a word of law and life, a reminder to stand tall in our own podium and swiftly part with those who oppose our gospel. This was a master's truth, the sanctimonious cape of an expert that had studied the genres entrance and exit points to be had at his convenience.

Overall, I enjoyed this album thoroughly, but more so, the underlying principles I found in it. This was the tutelage of a maestro, the guardianship for a people who need the acquired taste of achievement. Whether you take his path or not, the one you select will only be conquered by the same fortitude and determination Cook’s displays in his distinguished literary masterpiece. Maybe you didn’t take away what I did, that’s arbitrary, but I encourage any listener to extrapolate the ingenuity in this amazing body of work whether you agree with it or not.
By my third listen, I made a small change making Cocaine Cologne the last song. It was the benediction, the climax to his life symphony, and the orchestra as the curtains close. At the time of this writing, Cook's latest singles Run It Up and That's the Game play simultaneously on heavy repeat, and like his album, I'm once again charmed by his elegant, well poised delivery. Another movie, the one with the entrancing villain we're all rooting for, with a lyrical prowess over more phenomenal production. In the opulence of Cook's charismatic music is hope. A resetting of the roots of hip hop, and adding to the bulldog annexation of upstate New York's position in the culture. In his music, Cook's personal ascension is evident and well celebrated. This album was the relatable gospel to be only digested by those willing to risk it all in their own permissive pursuits. His story is one to believe, the plan to get to the money, or whatever your lust, and the celebration of self in every meantime. Personally, with my own futile religious experiences, and Cook's discourteous backdrop of it, the music was introspective self enjoyment. His versatility, originality, along with his ability to play with melody while keeping the integrity of the culture intact. A legend indeed.

I turned 19 about 6 months ago but I have been really into credit cards as soon as I turned 18. My first card was a Bank of america customized rewards and then slowly built my setup since then. FICO8 is 750.

So yes, today's the 7th anniversary of our humble subreddit. It's nice to see it grow after all these years. I wish I could organize some big event for this, but I am currently in the midst of some difficulties, including recovering my Telegram account (sorry to the peeps over our GC, pabalik na ako as soon as maayos na!).
