The release is based on the Saban Entertainment dubbed version, a subtitled Japanese set will follow in the future
I was the producer for the release, along with doing various other things.

The set features a new high end next generation upscale that had a heavy focus on dealing with the various video problems that have plagued the series since it first came out, along with hundreds of hours of manual corrections to make other improvements.
Due to the condition of the video masters the show was reedited shot by shot from the best Japanese footage available before upscaling.
Any recaps that had gone missing over the years had audio tracked down and the video recreated, including the pre-episode 1 intro that was missing from the DVDs.

2024.05.28 16:30 jaimus21 Image Issue after site migration

Hi, apologies right out of the gate as i'm really nascent to this forum and wordpress.
TLDR:
I migrated WP site using blogvault from one aws/bitnami instance to another (in order to get the latest version of PHP, as some pluggins required it), and i havent updated the DNS from the old to the new site yet, and my issue is that the images in the Media gallery (130 total), are not rendering their thumbnail, and only about 40% of the images actually migrated (this could have been b/c i didnt update the php.ini file to increase the file size limit or not?). No image thumbnails show up in the gallery viewing mode on the dashboard's Media page, including newly uploaded images, but they do rendering on the 'list' view. My ask is why this may be and ultimately what might need to do or look into to resolve it.

FullStory:
I run a simple website for my wife's yoga teacher training stuffs. I set it up on on aws/lightsail using the bitnami build, largely to save on hosting cost. The advent of needing to keep up with the latest/modern version of PHP, i needed to build a new containeinstance (unless someone has an idea of how to just update PHP on an existing bitnami instance). I tried a few migration pluggins and the only one that worked was Blogvault.
The core of the site's content migrated over but only about 40% of the 130 images came over(so not a ton that i can't manually do it), but more so the issue i'm having/seeing is that the Media library is not rendering any thumbnails, even for new images i've uploaded, in the 'gallery' view, but it does show in the 'list' view. This seems quite odd.
I haven't updated the DNS of the site yet, as i wanted to make sure everything was working b4 doing so, thus maybe it's possible that has something to do with it(though the pathing seems 'ok').
Would greatly appreciate if anyone has any thoughts/insights or could point me in the right direction.

Criticare il mio programma di Roma
Ciao!
Ho programmato un primo viaggio in Italia per me e mia mamma. Resteremo a Roma per 4 giorni e non andremo in Vaticano. Dopodiché passeremo qualche giorno a Venezia.
Potresti per favore farmi sapere se il mio programma a Roma è fattibile, se vorresti aggiungere qualcosa, se cambieresti o sposteresti le attrazioni in un giorno diverso? Sono troppo ambizioso?

2024.05.28 04:11 No_I_Deer Guardian wont rankup due to Godslayer not counting towards completed Titles

I am currently guardian rank 9 and to get to 10 my final step is to acquire 5 titles. I have done this, I currently own 5 titles yet the progress only shows 4 as earned. I had 4 out of 5 and after claiming Godslayer it still shows 4 out of 5. I was hoping to get guardian rank 10 before final shape and this is my last chance before next week and its stuck behind this bug. Im posting here in hope mods or anyone sees this as both of my posts on the forums have died with no attention.

2024.05.27 14:28 aidend92 Google Street View Trusted - Question

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to get an answer to a specific question, and was unable to find the answer in my not-so-thorough search through the forums.
Anyway, I'll try to keep it short. I'm a private individual who was offered to take 360 photographs of a certain object, and would be paid to do so. The idea is that the contractor wanted to use the photographs on his Google business profile and for those pictures to be shown on a Google Business Page, in addition to his own website which will use the gallery of 360 degrees pictures as a virtual tour through the object.
I'm more than willing to make a couple of bucks on the side, but the client is asking if these pictures can become Google Street View certified ?
The way I get is that, the user who uploads the pictures needs to have at least fifty (50) pictures taken on his profile to be in the pool for certification?
Is this true?
My client don't mind that in the moment of taking pictures or finishing his project that I'm not Google certified, but he does need a reassurance that I can obtain the certificate afterwards. Is there any type of guarantee for my case that I can eventually get Google Street View certification?
Thanks in advance,
Aiden.

2024.05.27 08:26 gabboinks 9 Days and Multiple Cities, Post Trip Review

Returning from our 9-day Italian adventure, we covered Rome, Venice, Florence, Pisa, Salerno, Positano, and Amalfi. As first-timers in Italy, our mid-30s selves embarked without a concrete plan, eager to soak up the country's beauty and culture as much as we can. Our journey wasn't about relaxation but about immersing ourselves fully. Despite a jam-packed itinerary, we never felt rushed, cherishing each moment at our own pace. Every city offered a unique charm, leaving us in awe of Italy's diversity. Though we only scratched the surface, our experience was nothing short of incredible, brimming with excitement, discovery, and a profound appreciation for Italy's wonders.
- Rome
Arrival and First Night:
We arrived at our hotel in Rome around 10 PM and decided to take a stroll to the Trevi Fountain. To our surprise, even at 10:50 PM, the area was still bustling with people. It was charming to see the fountain illuminated at night, surrounded by tourists and street sellers. We took some photos and then headed back to our hotel.
Day One:
We left our hotel at 8:00 AM and took the metro to Ottaviano to meet our guide for the Vatican tour. The area wasn't as packed as we expected at that time. However, by 9:00 AM, the crowds started to build up.
Vatican Tour: It was a fantastic experience with so much to see. Our tour guide was nice and humorous, making her explanations easy to understand while highlighting the most important aspects. She didn't overwhelm us with unnecessary information, which I appreciated. After the tour, we decided to skip the Basilica and head straight to Piazza Navona. *Skip the line is a must for the Vatican Tour
Piazza Navona: On our way here, we stopped by a pizzeria that serves Napoli pizza. Honestly, it was the best pizza I had in Rome. The place was crowded, but that was part of its charm, making the atmosphere so lively. Every alley has its own unique attractions. You have to stroll around to discover various scenes, from people playing music to street vendors and charming cafes.
Pantheon: The architecture is stunning, though there isn't much to see. We snapped a few photos and moved on. As we walked around, we discovered a gelato shop called Giolitti. It was fantastic, offering a wide variety of flavors. There was a short line, but it was definitely worth the wait!
Spanish Steps: On the way here, I stopped to purchase Ray-Ban Meta sunglasses, which I've wanted for a while since they're not available in Asia. This made me so happy! There are plenty of shops and cafes to explore around the area. The view from the top of the steps was lovely, especially around 5 pm when it wasn't too crowded. While there's not much to do here, the experience and scenery were worth the visit.
As we were heading back to our hotel on the metro, a young woman approached us with urgency, asking us to follow her. Though hesitant at first, her gentle tug on my shirt convinced us to heed her advice. We quickly boarded the same train, feeling grateful for her intervention. She explained that she had noticed individuals on the platform eyeing us, identifying them as gypsies known for targeting foreigners in the metro. She shared that she sees them often and tries to help whenever she can. Her timely intervention left us feeling thankful for her kindness and vigilant awareness of her surroundings.
Day Two:
We decided to visit the Trevi Fountain in the morning, so we woke up at 7:00 AM and left at 7:30. On the way, we ran into an older couple from our Vatican tour group. They were really sweet and helped us take photos.
Trevi Fountain: The atmosphere during the day is quite different from the night. There were many influencers trying to secure spots in front of the fountain, getting upset when people walked by them. Despite the crowds, it was an enjoyable experience. We stayed for a few minutes, sat, and chatted while admiring the fountain. We truly appreciated the moment. We threw some coins into the fountain and made a wish. Afterward, we headed to our meetup spot for the Colosseum tour.
Roman Forum & Colosseum Tour: This place was amazing—the story, the history, and the views. I particularly enjoyed the Roman Forum. Our guide was funny and didn't rush us, even offering to take breaks and checking on us occasionally. He was very caring and passionate about his storytelling, which made the tour much more engaging. The Colosseum was packed! Unfortunately, it started to rain a bit, which was a hassle since we didn't have any umbrellas, and the covered areas were already crowded. Despite this, we enjoyed the tour and took some great photos. *Skip the line is a must as well.
After the tour, we had lunch on the way back to our hotel. We then picked up our things and headed straight to Termini Station, catching a train to Mestre. We stayed there overnight to rest before exploring Venice the next day.
- Venice
Day Three:
After breakfast at the hotel in Mestre, we checked out and boarded the train to Venice. Upon arrival, we left our bags near the station. A word of advice: don't leave your bags inside the station; they offer a service for 6 Euros for the first 4 hours and 1 Euro per hour after. However, if you exit the station on the left side, you'll find a shop that lets you leave your bags for just 5 Euros for the entire day. It's a convenient for exploring Venice without the burden of luggage. We didn't have itinerary here and just free walk the whole thing.
Venice is undeniably enchanting, with its winding streets and surprise encounters around every corner. Losing your way becomes an adventure in itself, leading to unexpected discoveries like a quiet canal or a street musician adding to the city's lively ambiance. Even stumbling upon dead ends offers a moment to pause and take in the unique beauty of the surroundings, especially with the tranquil canals nearby. The atmosphere buzzes with authenticity as locals and tourists mingle, exchanging smiles and nods of appreciation. It's an experience that captures the essence of Venice's charm and leaves you wanting to explore more.
Rialto Bridge: The Rialto Bridge is undeniably picturesque, offering a stunning view of Venice's iconic canals.
St. Mark's Square & Basilica: We were absolutely blown away by the beauty of St. Mark's Square and Basilica. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The lively atmosphere, with musicians playing in the cafes and the charming sight of birds soaring overhead, created an unforgettable scene. I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and even got goosebumps seeing it all for the first time. After taking it all in, we wandered around and then enjoyed a delicious lunch in the area.
Around 7 PM, we retrieved our bags and hopped on a train bound for Florence. Venice exceeded our expectations, and even though we only had a day to explore, we made the most of it and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. It's funny to think we almost considered canceling our visit to Venice initially, but we're so glad we decided to go through with it. It turned out to be an unforgettable experience.
- Florence:
Day Four:
Upon our arrival in Florence, we were greeted by heavy rain, necessitating a taxi ride to our hotel, just a 10-minute walk from the station. Unfortunately, this marked our first unpleasant experience, as the taxi meter quickly climbed to 15 Euros for what should have been a mere 5-minute journey. Despite attempting to voice our concerns, the language barrier left us feeling defeated, and we reluctantly paid the fare. After checking in, we took some much-needed rest.
The following morning, we ventured out to pick up our tickets for the Uffizi Gallery, a short 10-minute walk from our hotel. Arriving around 9 AM, we were pleasantly surprised to find the area relatively uncrowded. With little hassle, we secured our tickets and entered the gallery in less than 10 minutes.
Uffizi Gallery: Surprisingly spacious, the Uffizi Gallery exceeded our expectations. We spent about 3 hours leisurely exploring the exhibits, opting for a free-walking approach without a guide or audio guide. It was nice to take our time, stopping to read about the pieces that caught our interest, and the abundance of benches allowed for frequent rest stops. Arriving early was a smart move, as we avoided the crowds, but by 11 AM, the line outside had grown substantially, and the galleries were becoming more congested. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and while audio guides are available for those seeking detailed explanations, we found that a tour guide wasn't necessary unless you're deeply interested in every aspect of the artwork.
Conveniently located near the gallery exit was All’Antico Vinaio, a must-visit spot for a quick bite. We grabbed some sandwiches and then made our way to the train station to catch our ride to Pisa!
Pisa: The weather that day was so perfect, we stayed here longer than we thought... Because we tried so hard to get those funny photos beside the pisa haha. I never thought of seeing it in person but it was worth the visit. After taking a rest, we head beack to Firenze.
We ended the night with a delightful steak dinner, thanks to a recommendation from the receptionist at our hotel in Rome. He suggested we use the Fork app to book our reservation, which ended up saving us 30% off the bill. The meal was superb, and afterward, we took a leisurely stroll before calling it a night.
Day Five:
Since our Galleria dell'Accademia entrance ticket was for 12:45, we exchanged our voucher and then set off for breakfast, taking the opportunity to wander around the cathedral in the meantime. The area was bustling with activity, with plenty of sights to see and shops to explore, making the time fly by. We made our way back to the gallery around 12:30 and were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves at the front of the line for the 12:45 entrance. The lines are long but was well-organized, and we found that skipping the line wasn't necessary at all.
Galleria dell'Accademia: turned out to be smaller than expected, no pun intended. We spent just a short while exploring the artworks and sculptures before deciding to move on. Despite its size, the gallery was still worth a visit.
After our museum visit, we took a leisurely stroll around the area, soaking in the sights and sounds of Florence. Then, we headed back to the hotel to collect our bags before embarking on our journey to Salerno!
- Salerno
Day Six:
Salerno quickly became our favorite destination, offering a more relaxed and laid-back atmosphere compared to the bustling cities we had visited. It felt like a condensed version of everything we loved about Italy, with the added bonus of easy access to Positano and Amalfi. The food was exceptional, and what truly stood out was the warmth and kindness of the people. In just one day, we were offered help multiple times, whether it was assistance with using a vending machine or directions when we looked lost. Their genuine hospitality made our time in Salerno truly memorable.
We headed to the ferry around 8:30 AM to purchase a one-way ticket to Positano, with the earliest departure scheduled for 8:40 AM. Surprisingly, there was no line, making access easy and hassle-free. The journey from Salerno to Positano takes approximately one hour, with a brief stop in Amalfi along the way. The leg from Salerno to Amalfi itself is a scenic 30-minute ride, offering breathtaking views of the coastline.
Positano: Positano lived up to its reputation as a must-visit destination. Its beauty was truly captivating, with colorful buildings cascading down the cliffs, charming shops, inviting restaurants, and cozy cafes creating a picturesque scene at every turn. We stopped for a lemon slushie and asked the seller kindly to recommend a nearby restaurant for lunch. It was great and the view was amazing!
After lunch, we stroll along the beach and took some photos. We decided to see Amalfi in the afternoon, Luckily, there was available ferry going to Amalfi on the time we asked.
Amalfi: It was a dream come true for me, a place I've wanted to visit since I was young. Unlike Positano, Amalfi had a more relaxed vibe, which made it easy to enjoy. We had delicious lemon sorbet, a refreshing treat on a sunny day. We spent a relaxing afternoon on the beach and took photos on the way.
Before leaving, we picked up some souvenirs and headed back to Salerno.
Day Seven:
We decided to go back to Positano instead of going to Capri. We rented a Vespa scooter to explore the Amalfi Coast. It cost us 70 Euros for the whole day, and we could return it by 9 PM. We rode from Positano to Amalfi, Ravello, Minori, and Maiori before heading back. It was an amazing experience and totally worth it. Riding along the coast was the highlight of our trip to Italy. We returned the scooter around 7pm and went back to Salerno for dinner.
Day Eight:
Here, we enjoyed the most laid-back time of our trip. We made a quick visit to the Cathedral of Santa Maria and explored the ancient ruins of Paestum. Afterwards, we took a leisurely stroll around the port area, soaking in the serene atmosphere. It was a peaceful and rejuvenating experience, allowing us to unwind and appreciate the beauty of our surroundings.
Day Nine:
After checking out, we enjoyed a delightful breakfast at a cozy meat shop, where the owner warmly introduced us to his daughter, who is training to take over the business. It was a charming moment that added a personal touch to our morning. With coffee in hand, we made our way back to the station to catch our train to Rome and transfer to the airport.
At the airport, we checked in and took the time to savor the souvenirs we had bought during our trip, reminiscing about the unforgettable experiences we had in Italy. As we prepared to board our flight back to Korea, we couldn't help but feel grateful for the wonderful memories we had made and the warm hospitality we had encountered along the way.

2024.05.26 05:03 cepapanay Personal Opinions on Everbyte’s Feedback Response (Long)

As relieved as I am to hear a response from Everybyte’s team, I am unsure if their response directly “fixes” any of its addressed issues. I’ll be writing my personal response on topics that I find the most important.
Multimedia Pack and Pricing
Although the claim was that the multimedia pack in Duskwood faced a lot of criticism, I would argue the contrary. Of course, there will always be criticism when there is a price to follow along a service, but I believe the multimedia pack was quite popular among most of the fans. By investing in a one time purchase, I would argue that the immersion in the game remains unbroken. The pricing wasn’t exactly egregious on the pack either. $10.00-$15.00 was very reasonable (perhaps even underselling) the amount of content that followed along. Of course, seeing as more effort and funding was required for the development of Moonvale, a lot of us were anticipating a price hike for the multimedia pack. This was completely justifiable as long as the content matched the efforts allotted into the game. Most of us are willing to pay a fair price for a premium.
The pay-per-choice system with the gems/diamonds, at least in my opinion, feels quite disruptive to the overall immersion in the game. It also seems that this method would also encourage players to spend more money in the long term as well.
Usage of AI
AI has faced a hefty amount of criticism in the past few years, especially when used in the creative front. I understand that your team has limited access to resources, but AI as a resource is something to be careful with. It provides many benefits in the short term, but lacks the conciseness/focus to stimulate immersion in the long term.
AI art lacks the attention to detail to make its creations believable. For example, the borders on the tarot card in Episode 1 are inconsistent and asymmetrical, immediately giving away that the picture was altered with AI. If you are to continue using AI to provide images for your games, please make sure to manually edit them carefully. It would also be wise to consider that a sizable sum of fans are against the use of AI art entirely due to allegations of art theft, which, whether you believe that to be true or not, should be taken into consideration in the creation of your games. AI art does not currently have a good reputation with most of the public, no matter what your intentions may be.
The AI texting modules that you mentioned in this section, while fun, I don’t think should be included as a major feature of Moonvale’s storyline. Most textbots suffer from memory limitations, which can result in choppy or confusing conversations. As far as I know, this is currently just a result of limited technology. At its current state, AI textbots can only work efficiently short-term, which I don’t believe will fit into the criteria for Moonvale’s main story. Your team’s author is amazing, and although I am aware that she’s unable to provide customizable dialogue forever like AI, I believe that what she does write will be that much more memorable in the long run. Again, while I don’t think AI textbots should anywhere near the main storyline, I think that you could probably still use it in smaller scales (online forums, comments, etc.) as a fun bonus 🙂
The (default) messenger theme
Perhaps this is out of bias, but I don’t believe that the current theme for the messenger is immersive with the tone of the story. While I am wary of comparing Moonvale to Duskwood since they are different games, the overall tone of both games remain serious and mostly realistic. The biggest draw of Duskwood’s chatting app was that it replicated the UI of chatting apps in real life. Small things such as the minimally stylized WiFi symbol and time atop the screen went miles to ensure immersion. I think that it would be best to remember that the main role of the app is that it’s serving as a messenger. Nothing more, nothing less. The current theme is, at least in my opinion, a tad infantile. My assumption is that this design choice was to adhere to younger players, but the current setup derails from the tone of the game and the role of the app. You are involved in a missing persons’ case, not a carnival. Please be mindful of the setting of the game.
I think that reducing the font size of currencies and placing them to the very top of the app, as well as adding smaller details such as WiFi, time, etc. at the top would greatly help immerse players into the game. Duskwood’s UI was satisfactory and, seeing as how Moonvale is set in the same universe and perhaps even using the same messenger as Duskwood, there is no reason to drastically change the UI from Duskwood.
Major Topics Left Unanswered (Character Profiles, Profile Gacha, Minigames)
Character profiles have more or less completely disappeared from Moonvale. This was a strikingly strange choice as they had previously served to introduce the characters and store evidence. They were also immersive as they fit the standards of most messengers… Most people have their socials and images posted in popular messenger apps. Please add them back (gallery, audio files, optional social media links).
Players have also been anticipating custom profiles for a while now, but I don’t think they meant it like this. Most people wanted to choose their own images as profile pictures rather than AI-generated images, as well as having a few real life pictures they can take for the gallery. The current method of getting these AI-generated profile pictures is through a gacha system, where using diamonds can get you a random pictures. The gacha system is popular in mobile games, yes, but it is also equally deplorable due to its reliance on the same highs as gambling. Seeing as your team most likely acknowledges the fact that there are younger players in your audience (as evident by the current theme and UI), this is not the way to go. Gaining new profile pictures by achievements or being able to personally select an image from your gallery would be preferable as opposed to enticing gambling.
Finally, the minigames. I think it would be best to introduce mechanics slowly rather than having a single level to teach it. For example, having 2-3 levels covering a mechanic before introducing the next one. Furthermore, please add a REASON to why we are completing the minigames in the first place. In Duskwood, it was to “hack” into someone’s cloud storage. In Moonvale, there is no explanation. Revamping the introduction to provide a lore to why we bother with the minigames would, in my opinion, greatly improve the immersion with the minigames. This would probably also include revamping the UI/images for the minigames as well.
Concluding Thoughts
I know that the team at Everbyte studios is capable of creating amazing games when put to their own devices. Examples such as Duckwood and Nox stand their ground when compared to competitors. I understand that AI is tempting to use due to its convenience, but at its current state it cannot replace or even accurately replicate human emotions. I’m not saying to completely abandon the prospects of AI, but instead to severely tone down its usage. We want a game designed, written, and handmade by Everbyte Studios, not AI. Although we express disappointment and frustration now, it is only because we believe you can still fix and learn from your mistakes. Please don’t turn a deaf ear to your fans, and we encourage you to communicate with us more in the future. We are only on episode 1, so there is still time to change🙂

2024.05.25 22:27 CyanNITEepiC DS18B20 Not found. Please help me fix

Hi, so I have a project for an automated fish tank for which i require the DS18b20 sensor. The first one I tried, I soldered it to another wire to make connections to the breadboard easier and i kept getting a -127* C output, i tried another code using chatGPT that searched for the device and it kept showing "device not found". I tried using a different digital pin, same result.
Then i thought I might have fried the sensor or damaged it while soldering so i ordered a new one. With the new one, I directly connected the wire heads into the breadboard and I have verified that my connections are correct. I shall attach pictures of my connections just in case. https://imgur.com/gallery/t8P5MLj
I have also tried using 4.7k resistors as well as 10k resistors and neither work.
Also I am indeed using the oneWire and DallasTemperature libraries. I have tried using numerous codes i've found online. Tried searching forums for a solution, but none of them have a definitive answer.
#include  #include  // Data wire is connected to Arduino pin 2 #define ONE_WIRE_BUS 2 // Setup a oneWire instance to communicate with any OneWire device OneWire oneWire(ONE_WIRE_BUS); // Pass the oneWire reference to Dallas Temperature sensor DallasTemperature sensors(&oneWire); void setup(void) { // Start serial communication for debugging purposes Serial.begin(9600); Serial.println("Dallas Temperature IC Control Library Demo"); // Start up the library sensors.begin(); // Check if any devices are found on the bus uint8_t address[8]; if (!oneWire.search(address)) { Serial.println("No DS18B20 sensors are found on the bus!"); oneWire.reset_search(); while(true); // Stop the program } else { Serial.println("DS18B20 sensor detected."); } } void loop(void) { // Request temperature measurements from all devices on the bus sensors.requestTemperatures(); // Fetch and print the temperature in Celsius from the first sensor float temperatureC = sensors.getTempCByIndex(0); // Check if the reading is valid (not a default error value) if (temperatureC != DEVICE_DISCONNECTED_C) { Serial.print("Temperature: "); Serial.print(temperatureC); Serial.println(" °C"); } else { Serial.println("Error: Could not read temperature data"); } // Wait a second before requesting the temperature again delay(1000); }
This is the code I am currently using to test it.
I have also tried the sample codes from the DallasTemp library and those dont work either. Im like genuinely stuck and cannot progress with this project as this sensor is a very important part which other components require to run.
I kindly request the help of you fellow redditors as i am genuinely stumped as to what to do right now. I think the chances of both sensors being faulty is highly unlikely as i purchased the first one in a physical hardware shop and the second one from amazon. I would also like to mention that the sensor does not get hot as ive seen in other forums that heat might be a sign of damage or wrong connections.

hello, i have been simming in xplane for about a year, and it has been running nicely on my pc, except for the fact that i am forced to play on minimum graphics and everything is blurry. My pc has a geforce GTX 1650 and has 4gb of vram. Could i buy a MSI RTX 3050 Ventus 2x XS? Will it be a perfect fit instead of the GTX 1650? the rts 3050 has 8gb vram so it should help. My question is if it will fit in the pc exactly the same or not?

2024.05.24 08:13 Lurialx [TOMT][MOVIE][LATE 2000's - EARLY 2010's(?)] Drama-comedy slice of life American indie film, directed by a woman(80% sure)

I've been trying to find this movie for weeks. After marinating for a while, the most I can remember about this movie is that the cast has a varied age range from children, teens, adults, and old but not elderly people in it. One of the subplots is that a gallery ownemanager gained a love interest through a forum using those CRT computers, and essentially got phished by a young boy who she only saw after messaging each other to meet up in real life.

2024.05.23 12:39 Dr_Pauls How to Choose the Right Hair Transplant Clinic

Thinking about hair transplant surgery? It's a big decision. You want your hair back, but also want to feel safe and confident in the doctor's hands. So, how do you find the best hair transplant clinic in Kolkata Thinking about hair transplant surgery? It's a big decision. You want your hair back, but also want to feel safe and confident in the doctor's hands. So, how do you find the best hair transplant clinic in Kolkata? Here's a guide to help you navigate your search.
This is very important! Look for a clinic with a surgeon certified by a board like the National Board of Examination. This shows they have the training and experience for hair transplants.
Hair transplants are delicate. The more procedures a surgeon has done, the better. Ask about the surgeon's experience with hair transplants, especially for cases similar to yours.
Before and after photos are your friends! Reputable clinics will have a gallery of patient results. Look for natural-looking hairlines and healthy hair growth.
The cheapest clinic might not be the best. Hair transplants are an investment. Consider factors like surgeon experience, clinic facilities, and aftercare support.
There are different hair transplant techniques. Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is popular. It leaves minimal scarring. Ask the clinic which technique they use and why.
A clean and modern clinic is a good sign. Ask about the operating room and equipment used. Modern tools ensure better results and patient comfort.
Online reviews can offer valuable insights. Look for reviews on the clinic's website, Google, and patient forums. See what past patients have to say about their experience.
This is your chance to meet the surgeon and ask questions. Discuss your hair loss goals, medical history, and expectations. See if the surgeon listens carefully and explains things clearly.
Hair transplant recovery is important. Find out what aftercare support the clinic provides. This may include medications, scalp cleaning instructions, and follow-up appointments.
Trust your gut feeling. Choose a clinic where you feel comfortable and confident. The staff should be friendly and answer your questions clearly.
Finding the right hair transplant clinic takes time. Don't feel pressured to make a decision on the spot. Take your time, compare options, and choose the clinic that feels best for you.

2024.05.23 00:25 ADKadventures 17 Day Itinerary - Details. ANY & ALL commentary / recommendations appreciated!

Hi everyone! I am planning a honeymoon to Italy for the last week or September and first week of October! This will be our first trip to Europe in general. We are young, very active, and don’t do well with sitting around. We are also definitely more countryside people than big city people. Our primary interests are architecture, culture, history, food, anything active. I posted this in another community but am interested to hear what you all think?
The itinerary roughly looks like this -
Question 1 : Should we stay in Florence and take guided day trips to places like Siena, San G, etc., or should we divide the stay between both central Florence and an agriturismo? If we go to an agriturismo, we would rent a car from Florence and keep it until Venice. If we stay in Florence (thinking Santa Croce or Santo Spirito area?), we would wait to rent a car until we head up to Lake Garda.
Question 2 : Am I allocating enough time to each place?
Question 3 : Remove a day from Venice & put that elsewhere?
Question 4 : Remove Garda or Dolomites to add more days to Rome or Florence?
Question 4 : Should I be looking more at apartments or boutique hotels? Looking primarily on booking.com & Airbnb
Also, any additional commentary, advice, recommendations on the itinerary would be very much appreciated!
EDIT TO ADD: Please note these are very rough ideas of what we would like to do in each place - Advice, tips, recommendations welcome!

*Stay - Monti / City Center by river? - Coloseum (After hours tour /Night Underground) - Morning Vatican & Sistine Chapel - Pantheon - Forum Romanum - Palatine Hill - Trevi Fountain (late night) - Spanish Steps - Villa Borghese

2024.05.22 19:14 MeatJordan Where CAN I protest this?

Here's the summary version if you're too lazy to read the whole thing:
It all began when I first stumbled upon Inside Edition's videos of women - that's ~WOMEN~ getting slammed, insulted, and blasted for "showing too much of their body (with kids around)". Then it escalates further when they show a school is photoshopping out women's cleavages to make them look "modest" for their yearbook. I feel this type of treatment towards the female human is all wrong! Like, can't anybody learn to appreciate and look at the female body without censoring it in any way? Can't you let ANYBODY, including kids, get a chance to learn about the differences between the male and female human bodies????
Then comes along... you guessed it. That one video Inside Edition publishes. And after seeing her top blurred, my inner voice in my head yelled out: "That's the last straw!" Like, can't some of us get a chance to learn something new that just aroused our curiosity? Such as how the human body changes with time in terms of both genders? Like, now, I can finally visualize myself (my whole body) from little boy to fully grown man. But when Inside Edition published that footage, the new question that took me by storm is: what would a female look like from little girl to fully grown woman? At least this type of footage can give me a better visual illustration - provided that Inside Edition didn't blur it in the first place. And this will give the kids a jump start lesson on why boys and girls exist in the first place - not only because of their mental traits from toy stores, but also for a later life stage.
But with YouTube's broken comment system GHOSTING certain-to-random comments, even on my backup YouTube account, I can't seem to get ANY messages across!
Speaking of which, when I tried to post this on Feminism and AskFeminists, they BOTH perma-banned me for NO REASON and muted me from talking to their mods for 28 days!
Why do I say "no reason"?
"Hello, You have been permanently banned from participating in this subreddit because your post violates this community's rules. You won't be able to post or comment, but you can still view and subscribe to it.
If you have a question regarding your ban, you can contact the moderator team by replying to this message.
Reminder from the Reddit staff: If you use another account to circumvent this subreddit ban, that will be considered a violation of the Content Policy and can result in your account being suspended from the site as a whole."
As you can see, there is no specific reason listed in the message above. So this is why I claim or what I mean by "banned from a sub for 'no reason'. - Even for something that was never officially listed on that sub's rule board.
Once more, I, along with these parents of their own daughter proved one major point: if a male can go topless/show their body, then so can a female - regardless of age!
Can't I get a chance to learn something new? Some evolution/development processes for certain things can be a little more complicated than you originally first thought. Plus, I don't recall learning about the development of the human body in terms of both genders in any of my past biology classes!
In the videos I watched, those women involved in those videos - the victims, they were doing nothing wrong! They were just minding their own business. Then, out of the blue, some random person(s) demands they "cover up" (to "protect the kids").
When I comment "Can't these guys learn to appreciate one's female appearance?", it gets ghosted by YouTube's blasted comment moderating system. That just fuels my rage as due to that combined with getting (permanently) banned from subreddits makes me feel this world is getting more and more paranoid. I've never felt so shunned from the internet in all my life! I can't seem to get any messages across at this rate!
And after that one video Inside Edition posted, I felt there might be more visual content like this out here somewhere. I just have to get lucky I find it first. Then, out of a random thought - after viewing the napalm article on Wikipedia, "Napalm Girl" was the next subject that took me by storm. And sure enough, there was the picture of her unedited - on one site, and another - from another site with her chest blurred. That got me into setting this female nudity rights protest into motion.
And while dumping some trash in a dumpster one day, I found a discarded disposable diaper box by the outside right side of the dumpster and noticed that there was a topless little girl plastered onto it. That was just the evidence I need to show everyone that the censorship regulations involving the female human body are inconsistent. That, along with nude statues - artwork of naked people.
They blast a living person, but not a statue or a disposable diaper box! - Or even something that's news media approved!
Here's the long detailed version below:
Ok, before you start reading below, I want you to visit this and read the whole article to better understand my situation: https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/kitchener-waterloo/guelph-parents-angry-after-topless-girl-8-told-to-cover-up-1.3124762
I got banned from Lemmy social site servers for "CSAM" all because of this: the Napalm Girl pic and another thing I saw on Inside Edition's channel in addition to some nude statues - literally artwork of naked people - all because I was trying to protest ~the inconsistencies of censorship towards the female human~ - regardless of their race AND age!
Let me be clear on one thing: I didn't post any "CSAM" on the Lemmy servers! I'm protesting something that I feel is unfair towards the female human.
Please ~actually watch these before jumping to conclusions~ so you can actually understand what I’m really protesting!
Women Who Were Told Their Outfits Were ‘Too Revealing’
Mom Says She Was Kicked Out of Gym For Revealing Tank Top: I Felt Humiliated
Cops Dragged Woman Off Beach After Complaint About Her Bikini
It’s one thing to say a female’s outfit or body is “too revealing”,
Teens React After Yearbook Photos Are ‘Modesty Edited’
it’s two things to photoshop out a female’s cleavage to make her look “modest” for a yearbook or a portrait!
9-Year-Old Saves Family From House Fire
But censoring a topless preteen female who thought up an ingenious strategy to stay cool like her friends in the same stuffy room while at the same time not caring who’s around her? THAT’S REALLY CROSSING THE LINE!
It's all thanks to some videos from Inside Edition's YouTube Channel. All these videos Inside Edition posted are developing a question in my mind that's getting the better of me: why so much hate on the female human - even as children? Like, why do they censor the little girl's chest? Can't anybody learn to appreciate the appearance of the female body? Just like those parents of their own 8 year old daughter, I too am genuinely outraged by this type of treatment towards the female human!
And what's the big deal with nipples? I'm just trying to ensure everyone is treated equally regardless of race, and gender... AND age (after what I just witnessed). And if no one's gonna speak up about this, I might as well step up to the plate. After all, somebody's gotta do it!
That little girl in the final video made two non-verbal messages clear: one: if a boy can do it, then so can a girl! And two: no one is too young for anything! As long as you have the knowledge capacity and I.Q level to do it properly and safely, you'll be fine. I was able to refuel my dad's car and cook my own dinner when I was 6 and without setting anything ablaze by accident.
However, when I try to illustrate with that video, even though Inside Edition is an official news channel, the responses I get back are rather bitter! They remove my post or ban me from the sites I post on for "promoting nudity involving a minor"!
So my big question here is:
~WHERE~
~CAN~
~I~
~ASK~
~OR~
~SHARE~
~THIS~
~SUBJECT?!~
Due to my autism, I only know basic English. So I need to illustrate to get most of my messages through. I thought hard and I tried, and low and behold, they were removed hours later mainly because they "didn't fit the subject of the forum". Even though my multi-subject based thread does have some material relating to this forum's topic. These sites and mods are all really stretching my problem solving skills beyond the breaking point for this one. I'm merely protesting with these pictures and videos as illustrations. I'm not that good with words, so I need pictures to get half my messages across as noted above.
Many subreddits or forum sites don’t accept URLs, pictures, specific website URLs, or even a combination! Thereby hindering my ability to fully explain what I’m witnessing! In this case, the sentences “It’s one thing to say a girl’s outfit is ‘too revealing’, it’s two things to photoshop out a girl’s cleavage to make her look ‘modest’ for a yearbook.” actually corresponded to several videos I bore witness to on Inside Edition’s YouTube channel.
I actually tried to post that URL with that blurred 9yo girl in a subreddit in the past and you won’t believe this: I actually lost my reddit account for 2 days for “promoting nudity involving a minor”! Other sites like the adult video forums who accept uncensored nudity-based images I mentioned just delete my thread! Another site I recall banned me for 1 year for “spam” - even though I only made this protest post twice (after they removed it once).
So that meant I had to approach this from a different angle: after that experience, I got a little paranoid from using that said video URL to illustrate. So I tried explaining this protest without the URLs - and this is in conjunction with certain sites restricting my ability to post images, URLs, certain site URLs, or a combination. It seemed to end up making things worse! Because without the visual evidence, it makes it much harder to fully explain what I’m witnessing.
So without the URLs included - that visual illustration, on the sites I tried along with Lemmy World, it actually made things worse! That’s what lead Lemmy.World mods to ban me for life for “CSAM” or made other people think I watched child porn when I clearly didn’t. The lack of visual evidence (due to my past reddit experience combined with the site’s posting restrictions) is what led to this “pedophile” confusion. So please help me talk some sense into the Lemmings world, Lemmy.ml, and Lemmy.world mods that this was all a major misunderstanding and Lemmy is pretty much the only reddit alternative out here where I can try asking another question. My attempt to appeal has failed on 3 Lemmy social sites - even after I tried notifying the mods on the third Lemmy server site before making the post, so I need your help now!
I felt after Inside Edition uploaded that blurred 9yo girl video… I thought to myself “That’s the last straw!” Someone needs to protest these absurd censorship laws that they apply to the female human!
Why can males show most of their body but females can’t? - In most cases that is? Whatever happened to "Free The Nipple"?
Children should have the same… rights to do things as any adult! It’s about possessing the knowledge capacity and I.Q level to safely execute this action. E.G, on those “Family Day” episodes of The Price is Right and Let’s Make a Deal; those kids made smart choices when picking the correct numbers to items to win a prize.
I’m not joking around here! This type of treatment towards the female human needs to stop - this includes race and age. - It’s like racist people, but in age form.
Does it look like I’m laughing for fun? Of course not! Since no one else is protesting this, and YouTube has a flawed comment moderating system hindering my ability to post on even random videos (I.E, "ghosting"), I have to take more drastic measures to protest by stepping up to the plate and shouting out “Can’t we all be equal in terms of a huge variety of traits?” Yeah, the last thing I need is a vein-bleeding broken-record robot impeding or hindering my ability to seek answers to a question!
We need to learn to appreciate or accept how the female body appears regardless of race and age!
Stop trying to blame it all on me! None of the stuff in the vids posted, is that. If it was, Inside Edition would be the guilty party, and Youtube for not having already deleted them. If it doesn’t violate Youtube’s TOS, it should be fine to post anywhere. If there was even a hint of impropriety to it, at the minimum the vid would have been age restricted.
No one would answer! Not even Inside Edition themselves were willing to offer an answer when I even found their email address, the sites dedicated to helping those in mental, suicidal, or emotional distress (those forum sites even PERMA-banned me for "spam" - that's right, SPAM! (Even though there was absolutely no mention of a permanent ban or rule about "spam" in their forum guidelines!) Is that the definition of "spam" when I make a bad thread only once?! And when I try to appeal the ban, the same message "please contact the administrator if it was done in error" is blocking my ability to click the contact button! Or sometimes it's a blank white page with that message in the top left corner of the window! - Which adds more insult to injury, because I can't click anything as all the buttons have disappeared! That means I can't log out of that site either!), OR the adult video forums that support uncensored nudity images would accept that video link URL let alone the entire topic itself! So I really am at a loss for thoughts and words on what I just experienced! Heck, I even tried the professional therapists of talkingforchange.ca But even they too were too reluctant to talk as they claim my post regarding the censorship of women is not for their platform and they disconnected the chat 2 seconds after their last reply to me. And I highly doubt that ANY site will allow me to illustrate with a picture of the Napalm Girl (Phan Thi Kim Phuc) when she was 9, certain pictures of Pampers diaper boxes (why do you think they (Pampers, Huggies, etc.) even allows a pic of a topless little boy or girl to be plastered on a diaper box we see in grocery stores/supermarkets everyday?), Leela when she was an infant in the episode Leela's Homeworld, or even Belgium's famous kids: Manneken Pis/Jeanneke Pis. Do you think she along with ~other nude statues from around the world~ are trying to promote pedos?
That, combined with YouTube having a flawed comment moderating system hindering my ability to post comments on certain-to-random videos (I.E, "ghosting"), I'm forced to take more drastic measures to get my messages across. All this combined, ~I'VE NEVER FELT SO SHUNNED FROM THE INTERNET IN ALL MY LIFE!~
It seems everyone is too chicken (BAWK! BAWK-BAWK-BAWK!) to even start this subject! That's right! You heard me clearly!
~THESE~
~PEOPLE~
~ARE~
~PARANOID!~
But here's a strange catch: sometimes on some sites, Napalm Girl is censored, other sites she isn't. So I felt that I need to protest this. It seems everyone is too chicken to even start this subject! Don't these numbskulls know not to judge a book by its cover?! This is where I ask myself "NOW WHAT?!". This can't be one of those "exceptional" cases where they say "suicide never solves anything" doesn't apply to these types of situations. In other words, all hope for resolving these types of situations really is lost. I really do feel left in the dark on both the subject of sound effects and nudity!
Once more, I'm not being a ped, I'm protesting all these absurd censorship rules and regulations that revolve around the female human - regardless of ~race~ ~and~ ~age~ - after what Inside Edition posted. Watch the videos I found again for clarification. In other words, ~the inconsistencies of female human censorship~.
Can you really - you know, hurl insults at Inside Edition or blast them for what they did? It was their idea to publicly publish the footage. Just like how that one photographer made the choice to publicly publish footage of the Napalm Girl when she was 9 and completely nude. Therefore, it should be ok to share this footage anywhere.
But some areas censored Napalm Girl's nipples, but others did not - excluding her groin. Then there's the diaper boxes I found in any supermarket. And finally... Surprise surprise: typical women being scolded by other people for wearing something "inappropriate" or "showing too much of their body". I look around and since no one else is protesting about this (most likely due to YouTube's ghosting of certain words or phrases in the users' comments), I might as well do it! After all, someone's gotta step up to the plate to hit that ball! I will not sit idling by the sidelines and continue to watch the female human get treated/censored like this! ~I will stand up, step up, and speak out~ towards these absurd reactions, rules, and regulations that revolve around the appearance and censorship of the female body!
