33M, 5'9, 150lbs, white, ultrasound indicated a vein lacked color and suggested thrombosis, symptoms scattered since around March 15th, 2024, and I have no preexisting conditions other than controlled schizophrenia. I've been taking hydroxyzine 10mg as needed, which isn't super often, maybe once a month at most, for anxiety/sleep issues related to worrying and ibuprofen 200mg-800mg sporadically as needed, though my urologist suggested taking it three times a day. I use to drink once every other week, typically enough to get me beyond a buzz and into funny territory, but I'm a lightweight so all it takes is a Mike's Harder and a half to completely obliterate me. I don't smoke or do any drugs.
So, I got an ultra sound after developing a sudden pain in my testicles that specified I have a cyst on the epididymis on my right side and varicocele on the left. It indicated a vein lacked color and suggested thrombosis.
I also had a lower back MRI which came back stating I have degenerative discs, but I can't remember what else it stated. The doctor seemed to think the MRI wasn't a big deal.
I was sent to a urologist who immediately dismissed the thrombosis portion of the ultra sound and explained varicocele to me and that I should wear supportive underwear, jockstrap, etc. and take ibuprofen as needed as they won't do any surgery unless the pain is worse. Shortly after this appointment I started getting a throbbing pain in the under inside portion of my right thigh that came and went every minute to a few minutes and occasionally lingered for minutes at a time. It lasted for nearly 24 hours in that cycle and has since gone away - this was about a week ago. But since then my legs have felt generally uncomfortable. Not in any real pain, just uncomfortable. The discomfort goes away when I'm walking around, but comes back shortly after I sit back down.
I chalked the random pain up to a sciatica attack, which I've never had. I've been checking my limbs every single day for any discoloration or abnormalities, but have seen nothing. I often have trouble differentiating anxiety symptoms from other legitimate symptoms, such as manually breathing and the like.
I live an incredibly sedentary life and have been home from work a lot lately due to cut hours, so I'm often sitting for 8-9+ hours a day and laying down for just as long as of late. I did attempt to use the stationary bike for the first time in my life a few days after the thigh pain and lasted about 10 minutes before muscle soreness set in. I'm also going to get a manual blood panel done this upcoming Monday for:
Complete Blood Count (CBC) Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) Lipid Panel Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) Testosterone (Free and Total) DHEA-Sulfate Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA, Total)
As for the bowel issues, I've tried cutting lactose (mostly) and cut gluten for a few weeks, but have seen no changes. I'm uninsured, so my current primary doctor is hesitant to send me to a GI for some reason. I'm willing to pay for a colonoscopy if I have to, but I have bouts of normal healthy bowel movements and then days at a time where barely anything comes out or I have the urge to go and just end up with mucous coming out in a volume that I can hear it in the bowel for half a second.
Are there any other blood tests I should consider and do any of these symptoms sound concerning? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I feel like I’m walking on clouds. I’m in and outta my body. I keep day dreaming about my future. Idk where I’m going with this…just wondering if anyone else takes a list of medications daily 😂 I feel no pain but I’m zombie like 😴

Currently on 3x10mg buspar + 10mg Lexapro combo, so far, it’s been great! But noticed that my libido has decreased slowly over time and now adding Wellbutrin. Just took it in the morning but I need support, how are all of you feeling? I’m a little skeptical and afraid of meds but the first 2 meds helped a lot, but don’t know about Wellbutrin! I just wanna have increased libido and lose weight!

Curious for your experiences. I used to feel great while drinking, then depressive symptoms sometimes the next day. Ive been on 10mg for over a year, and I am finding that now when I have a few drinks I start feeling depressed the same night, very quickly after the initial buzz. Has taken a lot of the enjoyment away from alcohol. Next day hangovers also have more severe depressive symptoms.
Has this happened to anyone else? Not sure if the change in my reaction to alcohol is due to the Lexapro or just coincidental. Intuitively it seemed to me that my depressive reaction to alcohol should be improved, not worsened by Lexapro.

Perhaps one of the most disingenuously used and misrepresented words in the Asian community to gate keep XF from being interested/dating AM and shut them out from being curious and wanting to explore Asian culture.
Typically used as a straight out personal attack by jealous WM and AF attempting to mateguard and block out XF using emotional manipulation to shame, discourage and demoralize XF into putting off their interest and curiosity into Asian male culture and attraction.
As the XF in the second video points out, generations upon generations of young girls/women all around the world have grown up completely immersed and engrossed in American movies, music, and pop culture. Often at the expense of their own local culture when American media far exceeds them in popularity.
American/White men have been held up by the U.S media as the top level of sex symbols for decades and girls/women have simply accepted it, no-one bats an eyelid. Places like Los Angeles/California/New York have been glamorized beyond scope as the coolest and trendiest places in the world despite their actual reality.
And as one of the XF above question, why is there no such term as 'Americaboo' despite the American media having a virtual monopoly and complete dominance on the narrative and perception of how the country and men are portrayed for literal decades since World war 2?
It's therefore extremely puzzling why the rise of Korean popular media, which is still only a few years old, already has a catch all negative toxic buzz phrase that is used to attack like daggers the very (XF) females who are helping propel and promote the popularity of Korean media into the mainstream.
Even on this sub and other subs/places where XF talk/ask about AM issues, many feel it has reached the point where they must hide the fact they are enthusiastic K-drama/K-pop fans, learning Korean language, want to visit Korea for vacation/work/study in front of people such as WM and AF in real life and online, unless they be mocked by them as 'Koreaboos' who are 'fetishizing' Korean men and culture, and are 'creepy' and 'cringe'.
Where is the fake moral outrage over women doing the same to White/Black men culture and those men being hyper sexualized? There is none. Because for some reason it only applies to Asian men.
There are also some Asian men themselves who join in on the finger pointing and name calling too (One - Two) and no words can describe the self sabotage of doing so which can be made into another thread itself.
Of course, the caveat being that the negative connotation of 'Koreaboo' can actually apply to some XF who take the obsession too far as the women in the videos above explain. But in 90%+ of cases it is most likely not the case at all.
And the people making the accusations (WM and AF) most certainly are not doing so out of the love and goodness of their hearts because they care so much about the wellbeing and safety of Asian men.....

I realised on another thread that most current players would never have heard of the old Scandalous Flash Lay exploit. In an alternative timeline where Norman Osborn never killed Peter Parker and Mary Jane's baby, May "Mayday" Parker inherited her father's amazing powers. I’m currently on 100 Sr daily and 10mg Buspar 2xs but I usually just take 5mg twice . I noticed when I exercise , or exert myself ( bike ride , yard work, a lot of walking) I feel terrible after . Weakness , chest feels tight , like I can’t breathe, little dizzy or like I’m on the verge of passing out. My heart pounds but I can’t tell if it’s from the exercise or because I’m panicking from what I feel. It eventually goes away. Anyone experience this?I’m scared I’ll have a heart attack. I can’t tell if it’s the Wellbutrin or Buspar messing with how i feel or making me feel my heart pounding less IDK but it sucks. And to add, I don’t feel bad during the exercise.

FIRST OFF: I think this prescription is temporary. it's only for 30 days while i try to find a psychiatrist. My PCP prescribed this for me.
I just got prescribed this medication in 10mg tablets. I've had bad anxiety for a long time and I especially get anxious with meds. I've been reading up on the side effects and it freaks me out a bit.
I'm on the way to pick it up at the pharmacy right now and would like to know what I should expect. Any encouragement to calm me down would be helpful too. I've already suffered for so many years without meds and I've heard anxiety can get worse for a while before it gets better and I seriously don't want to deal with that at all.
Is there anything I should do? What should I expect? I want to hang out with my friend tomorrow which is when ill take the med (in the morning) and I'm worried ill get side effects right off the bat. I really need to hang out with them as I need a distraction so I wouldn't want to cancel on them.
Also since this might be temporary, and its a low dose, is it possible my body won't become reliant on them? I would hate that badly.

15F, 135lbs, 5ft 4.5in. Pediatric bipolar, OCD, ADHD Buspar 10mg, Prozac 30mg, abilify 20mg, jolessa (birth control) NOT sexually active. Used for regulation (typically 9 day, heavy flow periods).
Persistent, debilitating, middle abdominal cramping, nausea, unable to eat more than a handful of food each day, and dizziness for 10 days so far. No period in May. Not pregnant (2 blood tests confirm this - aside from their word of not being sexually active).
Gone to ER twice (per PCP) and can't find cause. CT with contrast showed nothing. Urinalysis showed nothing. Blood work showed nothing. PCP and ER are at a loss. PCP and ER say go back to ER over weekend if nothing gets better (for a 3rd time) to rerun CT with contrast.
Gave antibiotics for possible undetected UTI 1st visit. Didn't help.
Gave Levsin for cramping 2nd visit. Helps some. No longer debilitating pain, but still unable to hold down much food (about 3 handfuls per day so great, but not amazing), or resume normal activities. Still has nausea, and dizziness.
PCP put in urgent referral to GI specialist. Will be about a week before we get a call and then wait time for actual appt.
Any ideas what we could/should do to ease cramping, ingest more food, etc.? Any test(s) recommended for next ER visit? At a complete loss and child is miserable.
Willing to answer any questions and child and I have a close bond so they'll answer anything 100% honestly, as well.

Until just recently my maternal grandfathers family history was only partially known to us. Due to unfortunate circumstances his mother left when he was small and there was no contact.
We recently found out that she remarried and had 5 children. One of them died of PSP. Apparently one of her 12 siblings died of PSP as well, as did one of her nephews.
So 3 cases of a fairly rare disorder in sort of a short cluster.
So far my maternal grandfather is still kicking along at 78 with his only health problems being due to lifestyle factors (heart disease after a lifetime of drinking and smoking).
When looking online I can find very little about the heritability of this condition. I'd like to at least have a better bead on what it means for my children and I and if any thing could mitigate potential risk.
The only common factors among the three that had it are being male, and two of them serving in Vietnam.
