So basically I was working for a nation wide organization and my direct supervisor was constantly gossiping about staff members and also allowing unsafe medical practices. I quit and I sent a email to our district manager as to why I quit, what my supervisor was allowing and I also brought in names when it came to gossiping. Like who she was talking about, and to whom she said it to. So my old coworkers started texting me saying that they were told they were all going to be investigated for unsafe medical practices, and basically all coming to me as if I was wrong. It’s hurtful because they all backed me up to send the email in the first place, but now that everyone is being investigated I’m the bad person. My old supervisor is in a lot of trouble that I’ve heard. So the reason why I’m scared is because I wanted to show my friend that I wasn’t directly snitching on them so I sent the email that I sent to the district manager. Can I get in trouble for that? Showing her what I wrote in my letter that I used to quit in and “snitch”?

Well I have shingles. (-100/10 don't recommend) It's effecting my right hip/leg. Which I think is preferable to people who have it on their upper body/face/arms etc. Except for the fact that I have a week old tattoo and 2 month old tattoo on that thigh. And I have a cluster starting right between the two of them that is slowing encroaching on my tattoos.
My main worry is that the blisters are going to mess up my tattoos. I assume there's got to be someone who has had shingles on their tattoos and can either reassure me they'll be fine or prepare me for the worst.

My (17F) stepmother "Jane" is a wonderful, wonderful woman. She and my father got married when I was 4, and she's been a rock in my life ever since. My mother was always my primary caregiver, but up until that point her relationship with my father was acrimonious and I basically never saw him. Jane was the reason they developed a stable co-parenting relationship, she encouraged everyone having a good relationship with each other and was always there to support me and my mom when things got rough.
Jane was always a really hard worker. When she met my dad, he was living out of a hotel and my mother was doing everything in her power to keep me away from him because she was petty and angry that their relationship didn't work out. Meanwhile Jane had a great job, a nice house, helped my dad get back on his feet, negotiated a visitation schedule with my mom (who hated her for a long time), and made sure my dad sent us money every week because neither one of them could afford an attorney to negotiate child support payments. Jane had no reason to do any of these things but as I got older she made it clear that she loved me as much as she loved my (half) brothers who were born a few years later. I even have my own room in her house because at the time we lived with my grandparents / various boyfriends of my mom and Jane felt that I needed a more stable environment than that. She's like the opposite of the evil stepmom.
When I was 15, Jane won a big lawsuit against an airline company and got awarded upwards of a million dollars. She used the money to build sizable trust funds for me and my brothers so that we would be taken care of later in life. Despite having a lot more money she still wanted to live a fairly modest life, so she paid off the house she has and has been living there ever since with my dad. Sure she bought a new car and they went on a few nice vacations but she didn't blow all her money on stupid things, which I respected.
About a year ago, things started getting really weird. Whenever I saw Jane she seemed to look sicker and sicker, but no one would tell me or my brothers why even though I know they knew. All we knew is that she was at the hospital a lot. Around the same time, my mom has been coming around my dad a lot more and acting really strange, basically like she was trying to romance him. Whenever Jane was in the hospital my mother would insist on spending the night at their house and playing mom to my brothers, which was so weird to me because she never liked them or Jane. She'd be the perfect little housewife and my mom is NOT like that at all. It was super fake.
Worst of all, my dad started falling for it. I'm not stupid - I'm pretty sure they were sleeping together. I tried to shield my brothers from it but they're not dumb either. I tried talking to my dad too but he insisted it wasn't like that.
Then a few weeks ago, my mom started talking about all the places she'd like to visit, how she wanted a new car and was looking to invest... which is weird because my mom has been a bartender her whole life and has lived paycheck to paycheck since before I was born. She was acting like she was about to get a lot of money, which started to make me really suspicious. Between Jane being sick and my mom acting all nouveau riche, I had a lot of questions.
Finally I decided to visit Jane in the hospital and ask her about my trust fund. I found out that if anything happened to her, that my dad would inherit all the money including full control of the trusts for me and my brothers. She asked me why I was so interested in the trust fund so I told her what's going on with my parents and how my mom has been acting with my dad. I didn't want to but after everything she did for me, she deserved the truth. It really hurt me to break her heart like that, especially once I found out that she was basically in hospice at this point because of irreversible kidney failure. She's only got a few more months. We both cried so much.
Then, two days ago everything came to a head. My mom stormed in furious and started arguing with my dad. Apparently Jane met with her lawyer and changed the trust so that my dad would get nothing and all of the trusts would be controlled by my step-aunt. She demanded to know how Jane found out about their relationship and I came out and told them that I told Jane everything. I told them that if they wanted to play stupid games they would win stupid prizes and that I wasn't going to let them screw Jane over after all the help she gave my family when she didn't have to.
My mom slapped me and my dad just looked so defeated. Then my mom told my dad that she didn't really love him, that she was just pretending to so he would marry her and she could get all of the money. The worst part about it is that my brothers witnessed the whole thing and now on top of their mom dying they have to deal with a cheating dad and his vindictive ex. Our whole family is in ruins and I feel like it's my fault even though I know it's not.
Yesterday I visited Jane again and told her about the fallout. She apologized and said that she had to dissolve my trust fund to make sure my mother didn't get a hold of the money, but that as "her oldest" I will inherit the house/property after she is gone and that's worth more than the other two trust funds combined. My father won't get anything because she's going to divorce him before she dies, and honestly I'm happy for her. She made me promise to take care of my brothers and told me that once I turn 18 this summer I can kick my dad out of the house if I want to. And I FULLY plan to do that btw.
I haven't talked to my dad since and I can't even look at my mom. I can't believe they would conspire to do this to Jane after all this time. Just proof that they deserve each other and I'm embarrassed that they're my parents. Once I turn 18 I'm going to cut my dad out as much as I can and cut my mom out completely. I hope she rots. Meanwhile I'm going to try and be at the hospital as much as I can until Jane passes away.
Anyways. I just needed to vent. I'm really messed up about the whole thing and I feel super betrayed, although I can't even begin to imagine how Jane feels. I'm gonna be so f-ed up when she dies. I can't even think about that right now. But at least she's not surrounded by people who just want to bring her down.

Edit: Some people are asking a lot of the same stuff so I'll just clarify here --
My brothers - My plan is to use some of the estate money fight for guardianship for my twin brothers so that they can live in the house while I kick my dad out. If I can't get guardianship then I will have to let my dad stay in the house. However once I turn 18 I will technically be an adult so even if my dad leaves I'm still legally able to be responsible for them. The only thing I won't be able to do is stop him from taking them if he leaves. But they will be 18 in six years so even if they do have to leave they will always be able to come back whenever they want. In a perfect world my dad would just leave and let my brothers stay with me which I'm sure my bio-mom would be very supportive of because right now she hates all of us and I doubt that will change anytime soon.
The trust - from what I understand, my brothers will inherit 1/3 each of the estate and the remaining 1/3 will be used to keep the house running until they turn 18. After that it will be up to me if I want to keep the house or sell it. At that point my brothers will still have money left in the trust so they can branch out or do whatever they want, otherwise I will not sell the house and just pass it on to them or keep it and maintain it myself and they can just stay with me as long as they need to.
(Edit to the edit) So I just spoke to Jane and she told me that the reason she dissolved the trust is because originally it was going to be split 3x between us kids and my dad would inherit the house. She dissolved my 3rd and switched it over to make it to take care of the house maintenance, and instead put the house in my name so my dad wouldn't get it. Plus by doing that at least financially I would be getting a much bigger share (the house is worth about 1.5x the amount of my brothers trusts) I just wouldn't be able to do anything with it until my brothers are 18, which I'm totally cool with. Sorry if I don't have a better answer but I'm just trying to translate what she told me.
My parents - The big fight happened on Sunday and I haven't spoken to either of my parents since, I think they're both at my mom's place right now but that's fine with us because we're all still mad at them so they can stay gone for all we care. I know technically that's not legal to just leave us alone but I've been taking care of my brothers for over a year I can handle a few days while he gets his shit together. Screw both of them.

Additional Information from OOP on her parents, stepmom’s health, trust funds

OOP: (Why isn't Jane on dialysis) - I don't remember the exact details but Jane has a genetic condition where she gets cysts on her kidney. She already had a transplant a few years ago but now she developed problems with her arteries or something in her legs so she doesn't qualify for dialysis. She could get another transplant but she doesn't want to because the last time was so traumatic (rejections, etc). So she decided to just let herself go onto maintenance medications to prolong her death until she gets her affairs in order. She has a few other health problems that make the typical treatments really dangerous and according to her she'd rather die surrounded by loved ones than on an operating table.
(Dissolving the trust fund) - Jane told me she didn't technically have to do it, but she didn't trust my bio parents not to do something shady and get a hold of the money before I turn 18. Even if my aunt controlled the fund my dad would still be able to collect if something happened to Jane before I turn 18. Her lawyer suggested it's better safe than sorry and I agreed that it was the best option. I'm not an expert tho I don't know the details.
(How my mom knew) - Like I said before I'm pretty sure Jane told my dad, who then told my mom and that's how the argument started. I can't think of any other way and I didn't really care enough to ask.
(Jane's thoughts on my mom) - she didn't know my mom was doing all of that. My mom has her own place and would only come over whenever Jane was in the hospital for a few days at a time. I've been living with my dad for a little over a year so he probably told Jane that my mom was there to spend time with me, if he told her at all. Besides she didn't "move in" until a few months ago, which I guess is when they started hatching their plan. Jane never outright banned my mom from visiting so there really wasn't anything she could do.

Edit for the last part: The remainder of the money belonging to the estate that hasn't been put into trusts for my brothers is going to be used to maintain the house (utilities, taxes, etc) until my brothers are 18 and then I can either choose to sell the house or keep it and maintain it myself if I'm able to. I plan to go to school in that time and get a better job with the goal of keeping the house, but if I can't then I have the option to sell it. Not that I will but that's how it was explained to me.

OOP on her stepmom and their relationship, provides thoughts on her bio mom

OOP: Honestly it's because she's more of a "real" mom than my actual mom.
My bio mom is kind of ambiguous about my existence but Jane was always extra involved, sending me to sports teams and paying for dance classes and just showing interest in my hobbies as I got older. Plus as the only girl I think we bonded on a level she can't with my brothers so she always made sure to let me know I was on equal terms with them. When I was younger we would watch movies and have girl time where it was just us 1:1 and those are some of my best memories with her.
Jane is also really mature and someone I wanna be like when I get older whereas it feels like my mom is a teenager in an adult's body. She was constantly picking fights with my dad about dumb things and Jane was always there to smooth things over and keep my best interest at heart over her own feelings. I know my mom made Jane's life really difficult for a long time but Jane never complained or said anything to me about it whereas my mom CONSTANTLY complained about Jane. As I got older I just always felt more at peace when I was around Jane than when I was around my mom.
If you want your step kids to love you just be there for them and treat them like your own. Ignore whatever drama you have with your husbands ex and just love your kids. Trust me if you really care about them they will know.

OOP: Oh absolutely, Jane already gave me the lawyer's info and between him and my step-aunt I'm sure I will be able to do what I need to do for them. I don't even care about the money, most people don't have trust funds and turn out just fine. I'm actually more glad that she gave me the house because you can be damn sure it's going to be a safe space for my brothers whether I end up getting custody of them or not. My brothers are basically Jane's legacy so my goal is to give them the life and guidance that I got from her, and that they won't get because she'll be gone.

OOP: Honestly it hurts a lot because before Jane got sick they seemed to have the perfect relationship. Until my birthgiver (I like that) came in and fucked everything up with her toxic personality. Honestly in a perfect world my mom will end up broke and alone and in a shitty nursing home with bed sores. And when she calls me and begs me for a relationship (because she needs the attention) it'll feel so good to hang up on her over and over again.

OOP: I think so. Apparently it's a genetic disease so she always knew she was going to get sick she just didn't know when so mentally I think she was prepared for it. I just hope that she can find peace knowing the truth and knowing that I'll be there to make sure her sons don't grow up all fucked up.

OOP on her brothers getting therapy to deal with their mom/step-mom’s health and her imminent death

OOP: Yeah. I've already sat them down and talked to them about what's going on, they seem to understand but they're understandably really sad about the whole thing. I told them that when they go to school they should ask about a grief counselor and I'm trying to get their health insurance info from Jane so I can find them a therapist for kids. As much as all of this sucks I think it's brought the three of us a lot closer together.
Thanks a lot. I really love my brothers and I know it's my job to take care of them properly now that they won't have a mom around. Jane did so much to raise me and my brothers won't have the opportunity so it's only right that I help them.
Since finding all of this out my plan has always been to have my brothers live with me, I'm already in charge of taking care of them and the house for the most part the only thing my dad does is help pay the bills. Unfortunately I won't be able to kick my dad out as long as he's their legal guardian which is why I'm trying to find some other solution to that. But if/when that gets resolved he can live under a bridge for all I care.

Hi guys it’s me again, a lot of you asked me for an update on my situation with Jane and my family so I’ve come back with a few things that have happened since I initially posted. I will try to organize this in a way that addresses the major points of last time.
Jane is still alive and doing surprisingly well considering the circumstances. She’s always been a fighter and although her disease has been progressing she’s keeping a positive attitude with everything that is going on. She says she’s grateful that she was able to see everyone’s true colors before she passed so she could go into the next life knowing the truth. We have become so unbelievably close in the past few months and it’s getting harder and harder to know that she’s getting close to the end. She doesn’t ever talk about it though and I know it’s because she doesn’t want to hurt me but we both know the situation so we’re just making the best of our time. I'm also not being completely transparent about all of the drama at home but tbh I don't think she needs to hear all of that.
We did end up having that surprise celebration of life that I planned, a lot more people showed up than I thought but they all got an airbnb near the hospital where Jane is and we were able to take her out and spend some time at the lake near the facility. It was super lowkey which I know Jane preferred and I was even able to get her old college friend to come after I found him on Linkedin lol. We had food and there was music and we played games and it was overall a really great time, except Jane started crying at the end but she promised me it was just because she was grateful.
My brothers are also doing okay, my aunt (Jane's sister) is currently paying for them to go to therapy and they've become a lot more open about talking about the situation. They just turned 13 but a lot of the time it feels like I'm talking to actual adults lol. They've become really independent lately (in a good way) and aside from me driving them places I don't really have to do much for them anymore. Their grades aren't super great but they're not failing and considering the circumstances it could be a lot worse. They still hang out with friends and I'm keeping an eye out for like depression symptoms and stuff.
The situation with my mom is as funny as it is embarrassing tbh. She spent a few weeks ignoring us and then she tried to crawl back into my life basically begging me to let her move in because her lease is about to expire and she has nowhere to go. That convo went about as well as you'd think and she ended up calling me an ungrateful b**** and that I couldn't just ignore her because she's my mom. I told her to get out of the house before I call the cops and to go back to my dad (who at that point was only coming home every few days to "check on us" and grab some clothes.)
After that she tried coming by a few times and when I wouldn't open the door she would lose her mind and start yelling through the neighborhood. After three instances of this I finally called the cops but because I'm 17 they told me there's a possibility that I would have to go home with her since technically I'm a minor and need to be with the custodial parent. I told them no way because I was the only one watching my brothers atm. That led to a whole thing where after a few hours my dad basically showed up and I was allowed to stay there because there was finally an adult present and I'd basically lived there for over a year.
After that the cops firmly told my mom that if she keeps showing up and causing drama (my neighbors confirmed that she'd been there a few times screaming) that they would arrest her for trespassing since technically it was Jane's house and not hers. She left and hasn't tried coming to the house anymore but for a while she would call me constantly telling me I owed her and all kinds of stuff. She's now blocked on everything and anything she needs to say to me gets filtered through my dad.
As for my dad... well, since he's basically required to be here for another 2 months until I turn 18 we've basically just avoided each other. It's not too bad though because I've been heavily relying on guilting him for everything to get my way. For example he was going to contest the divorce but I threatened to kick him out when I turn 18 if he does that so he just signed all the paperwork for a "quickie divorce" and is basically doing whatever Jane tells him to do. I don't openly disrespect him or anything (he's still my dad) but I've made it clear that I have no intentions on doing anything he says ever again and he doesn't fight me on it. Most of the time he's just in his room and sometimes he'll go back to my mom's but only for a day or two before they argue and she kicks him out again lol. I haven't decided whether or not I'll kick him out yet and we haven't talked about it either so I'm kind of playing it by ear.
As for me, I'm handling everything as good as I can. I found a new job where I make a little more money so I've been focusing on saving as much as I can and just being there for my brothers. Between working and school and visiting Jane I've been so busy I haven't really had time to really stop and think about everything, but I know it'll come. One of my friends has really stepped up and helped me manage everything and I'm super grateful to him for being there for me and my brothers so we'll see how that goes.
Anyways I wish I had something more exciting to share but that's what's happened since my last post :) Thanks again for all the support on my last post.

OOP on the possibility of her stepmom being poisoned from her parents to get Jane’s money

OOP: Hi there,
A few people have mentioned this and yes we are absolutely certain she is not being poisoned, it’s a genetic disease causing her kidney failure and we have known about it for a long time but she shielded us from the worst of it hence why her “sudden” decline in health was such a shock to us, we thought she had more time.
My brothers have also been screened for this disease and thankfully neither of them have it.
Edit to add: I’m turning 18 in a few weeks so I don’t need to get emancipated and my dad has already agreed that my brothers will stay in the house with me because they have nowhere else to go.

OOP: Yes actually a few people suggested this on my last post and we have been doing this for a few weeks now. Jane has a little digital recorder that she’s been putting her thoughts down on and she’s also written a few letters to us for major milestones. My brothers do not know about this as we want to surprise them but that said they have been coming to the hospital more now that they’re in therapy and able to deal with it. I know they do not want to have any regrets even though it’s a difficult situation.

OOP: I do think he’s remorseful, he hasn’t said it but the way he’s acting is telling me that, he’s being really passive when normally he gets a little belligerent if he really feels like he didn’t do anything wrong. Also I know I have every reason to kick him out but he’s still my dad even tho what he did to Jane was terrible. He’s just kind of a weak minded person and my bio mom really manipulated the crap out of him and continues to manipulate him but I can tell he’s getting tired of her BS because he’s spending less time with her.
He didn’t know she was showing up at the house and when he found out he was super pissed at her, they’ve been fighting nonstop and I can tell he’s not as much under her spell anymore because he’s at home more but who knows.

In regards to the Japanese original, the kanji used is 褪 + 人 but 褪せ is from the ichidan verb:

• From the literal translations between JP = IT (in italic) found on second column of the table, and the official translation in Italian, which one actually stays faithful to the source language?
• Have you played the game in Italian? If so, how accurate is the translation? (I mean, did they localize it from the source language or English, still resulting in mistranslations?)

First of all, excuse my poor you English and thanks for reading this.
In all my years playing monster hunter there was something sticking in my head, specially from old generations of mh. The thing is that I feel that the armor system in mh is not rewarding. I started playing mh with 3u and between low rank and high rank I only built like 5 armors in total, cuz why should I spend hours and hours farming a whole armor I'll never touch? I know that the point of hunting is to do it at first for fun, and then to build your own character, but still, I feel that the game would be much better rewarding a lot, if not all armors. For example: every 5 pieces of armoweapons you craft you get an extra 1% total damage, or you get "points" where you can spend in a skill/stats tree, I don't know. I just want to have a more engaging experience in low and high rank.
This is just my opinion so don't get berserker on me thank you.

I am a 22-year-old man, and I feel like I'm at the lowest point of my life right now. I've been struggling with depression since I was about 10 years old. It got significantly worse after I graduated from high school at 18, especially when COVID-19 hit. During that time, I tried to ignore my depression, thinking it was just temporary sadness. I tried to tough it out and move on, convincing myself that maybe I wasn't really depressed.
Currently, I feel confused and lost about what to do with my life. I never seem to get the things I want, and I rarely express my true desires. This year has been particularly tough. I recently accepted that I suffer from depression, even though I haven't been formally diagnosed or sought professional help. Here are the reasons why I realized I'm depressed:

1. Low self-esteem: I have very low self-esteem. I feel unattractive and dislike my appearance. I'm 5'4" and weigh 113 lbs. Even though I work out and have a bit of muscle, I still don't feel good about myself. I recently got a buzz cut to try something new, but I ended up disliking it.
   
2. Feeling worthless at work: I feel worthless at my job. My boss is amazing, and I'm his assistant, but I don't do much besides adding things to his calendar and handling emails. I wish I could do more to help him, I always seem so busy but I don't do jackshit.
   
3. Unrequited love: I'm in love with someone I met six months ago, but I don't think I have any chance with her. I've tried to suppress my feelings and be content with just being friends, but it hurts a lot to interact with her and feel like I mean nothing to her.
   I might have missed some points that I wanted to express, and I'm sorry if this text is hard to read or has grammatical errors; English is not my first language. I don't really know why I'm writing this or what I hope to achieve, but I just needed to express my feelings somewhere. I don't have any friends to talk to about this.
   

Today I decided to reread Love in Focus by Yoko Nogiri as a break. It isn’t anywhere close to my favorite, but there are a lot of reasons why I enjoy it and I wanted to ramble about it while the experience is fresh! There's value in stories you like a moderate amount, after all. I got it a while ago because I love shorter manga and omnibuses, and when I spotted a lovely little 3-in-1 collection I had to pick it up.
Even though it's the center of the story, I didn't like the romance itself very much - what I'll talk about below are really the reasons I enjoyed and was interested in this manga despite this! Still, while I'm not a fan of pushier characters like Kei, it was fresh seeing a childhood friend freak out and then actually take action. I'm always a sucker for a sweet and frank girl so I liked Mako, though her feelings felt very "tell not show" to me. Amemura was my personal favorite, and I liked seeing him grow more confident and how his feelings for Mako changed.
To be honest, a big reason why I love it is how pretty it is—the art is clean and beautiful, the paneling flows nicely, and the varied shots with photographs layered in are just so lovely. I also really admired how all the screentones were used. It’s not just the manga itself I find pretty, I really love the lettering too. Japanese and English are two very different languages and that definitely makes it difficult to adapt it in a way that looks natural, but the fonts were so cute and the SFX and occasional notes never felt out of place! I wish that italic serif font was used more in manga. (Entirely possible it is and I’m unaware because I'm no prolific reader.)
The story is full of cliches, and honestly, I'm not sure if people who really want to be convinced of the characters' feelings for one another or the reality of the plot would like it at all, especially since again, much of it felt "tell not show." The plot rolls along with the characters acting on their motivations, then ends happily enough with the characters plainly acknowledging what they've come to realize and how they've grown, and personally, I'm okay and satisfied with that. I think it had a lot of sweet messages and was introspective. The way the chapters were broken up and we got a peek into each character's thoughts is a form of storytelling I adore, and overall it fit perfectly into three volumes.
I really liked how present the supporting characters felt, though they never the focus - the dialogue was fun, and they contributed a lot to making the setting feel grounded, I suppose? They each were distinct and I loved that, from Grandpa Sakae to the boarders to the woman that traumatized Amemura. Also, it was amusing to see Kei have Lucas on his side as fellow losers in love, especially when Lucas's own looming obstacle happens to be the fact that she's his brother's wife 😭
Thank you for reading all this rambling. It's nice to be reminded of all the little reasons I enjoy reading manga, because there's just so many. To me, Love in Focus encapsulates the charm of shoujo manga in a lovely way in a quick little story. Now I return to work until another break for sweetness 🫠

Welcome to the Series of Changes to be Made to the Super Smash Bros. Playable Fighters. First, we are going with the Original of the Series, Smash 64. Now, this topic has been done before, though it'd be fun to make my own. Plus, While some have got proper changes, Most still are the biggest offenders when it comes bad or outdated choices of Movesets, animations, aesthetics, etc. Here is the list of them.
Mario:

• Mario will now have his English voice from Kevin Afghani instead of Charles Martinet due to the latter retiring from his acting career.
• Mario is now able to Crawl.
• Mario now has a Water Meter from Super Mario Sunshine where by pressing the Shield Special button, the water meter refills after usage of said water.
• His Fire Mario & Wario Alt. Return.
• Down-Tilt - Roll: Performs a Roll attack.
• Side-Smash - Hammer: Swings his hammer forward.
• Up-Smash: His old Up Special, Super Jump Punch, is moved here.
• Neutral-Special - Jump Spin: Spins around himself.
• Down-Aerial - Ground Pound: Butt Stomps downward, meteor spiking & bouncing on opponents.
• Neutral-Special - Firebrand: Remains the same in function, just name change.
• Side-Special - Cappy: Tosses Cappy forward like a boomerang and/or can jump on him like an extra platform, while holding the button.
• Up-Special - Wing Cap: Spawns a Wing Cap & shoots up into the air before gliding.
• Down-Special - F.L.U.D.D: Remains the same though also it now can damage opponents and change into Nuzzle Form in the air and help him into the air.
• Left Victory Pose: Jumps to the top of a flagpole, slides down it, then hops off and happily poses

Donkey Kong:

• Donkey Kong will now have his voice from Takashi Nagasako instead of the Stupid and Bland realistic Gorilla Grunts.
• His white alt. has a blue tie, to accurately represent Super Kong.
• Neutral-Special - Coconut Shooter: Takes out His Coconut Shooter, then fires a Coconut.
• Side-Special - Barrel Throw: Picks a Barrel up then throws it forward or if in the air down, which the barrel can be picked up as item.
• Up-Special - Barrel Cannon: Enters a barrel cannon and fires himself in the direction that is input.
• Final-Smash - Finishing Blow: Starts off with landing a powerful upward punch, if success at hitting the opponent, the screen darkens then, lands a flurry of fast punches before knocking them upwards.
• Idle Animation #2: He quickly sits down and pulls out a Nintendo Switch and plays it.
• Up-Taunt: Still pounds his chest, but now hollers wildly while doing so.
• Left Victory Pose: DK rapidly punches and kicks a Slot Machine Barrel from the Retro Donkey Kong Country games, breaking it and releasing a bunch of bananas; once he's done, he lands on the ground and smiles for the camera, while giving a thumbs-up
• Right Victory Pose: He still pounds his chest, but just like his new Up-Taunt, hollers wildly.

Link:

• Link will not just use the Master Sword, he will use the Ancient Axe and Guardian Spear.
• Side-Smash - Spear Thrust: Performs a straight-forward stab with his Spear.
• Up-Smash - Vertical Spin: Jumps and Spin slashes upwards.
• Down-Smash: Spins his axe around while charging, and then slams his axe onto the ground.
• Neutral-Aerial: Spins the Axe in a circle.
• Forward-Aerial: Thrusts the spear forwards.
• Grab - Magnesis: Picks up a Magnet, then Fires two whips to grab an opponent, which can be used as a tether recovery.
• Down-Throw: Pins the opponent to the ground & stabs them with a claymore.
• Neutral-Special: Adds more arrows than just the wooden ones.
• Fire Arrows: Deal fire damage.
• Ice Arrows: Deal ice damage & freeze opponents when at high enough percentages.
• Thunder Arrows: Make a bolt of lightning strike the opponent hit, dealing electric damage.
• Bomb Arrows: Explode on contact.
• Light Arrows: Goes through opponents when fully charged.
• Ancient Arrows: Creates a massive blue explosion of energy.
• Up-Special - Sailcloth: Pulls out the Sailcloth, then goes in an updraft and afterwards goes straight down without changing direction.

Power Suit Samus:

• She is now able to switch between Plasma Beam Energy & Ice Beam Energy, by using the Shield Special Button.
• Now moves slightly faster and has more air speed.
• The Missiles do now reload when not in use or after being KO'd.
• Her green alt. is replaced by a blue and white skin, based on her default suit from Metroid Dread*.*
• Jab - Cannon Kata: Starts with a straight punch, then thrusts her arm cannon forward for the second hit and fires a small energy blast.
• Up-Tilt - Melee Counter: Swings her arm cannon upward.
• Down-Tilt - Slide: Performs a forward Slide kick.
• Dash-Attack - Dash Melee: Swings her Arm Cannon upwards while running.
• Side-Smash - Diffusion Blast: Releases an area of effect blasts at Close-ranged.
• Up-Smash - Overhead Blast: Same as Side Smash Attack but upwards.
• Neutral-Aerial: Her old Up Special, Screw Attack, is moved here.
• Forward-Aerial - Spazer Beam: Fires a blast that splits into three lasers.
• Down-Aerial - Downward Blast: Aims her Arm Cannon straight downward and releases a blast of orange energy
• Pummel - Grapple Voltage: Deals Electric Damage and heals herself somewhat.
• Back-Throw - Wave Beam: Swings the opponent behind herself & fires an energy blast in a sine curve at them.
• Neutral-Special: Also, now adds Ice Beams, where she fires an Ice Beam at the opponent, dealing ice damage & freezing them.
• Side-Special: Can depend on if it is tapped or held, where she fires one if tapped, though if held, she can shoot 5 or 10 missiles.
• Up-Special - Shinespark: Launches herself in any inputted direction as a gold shine emerges.
• Down-Special: Also, now adds Freeze Fields, where she summons 3 spinning ice projectiles that block attacks & freeze opponents.
• Final-Smash - Hyper Beam: Charges her arm cannon & fires a large beam of energy, which can be angled & can go through opponents & walls.

Yoshi:

• His Black Yoshi alt. returns.
• Yoshi can now hold to six eggs he creates with his Neutral Special.
• Grab: Remains the same although it can also now be used a tether recovery and a ledge clinger.
• Neutral-Special: Functions the same but it also now can be used as a tether recovery and a ledge clinger and also can now grab items and projectiles.
• Side-Special: His old Up Special, Egg Throw, is moved here and a reticle also appears and can be angled before being thrown.
• Up-Special - Wing Flutter: Small wings emerge from his back as he flaps into the air.
• Down-Special - Ground Pound: Beginning of the move's function is the same, but it now has the ability to Meteor Spike and Bounce on opponents. Also, Name is changed.

Kirby:

• Kirby's Gimmick now consists of the Copy Abilities from the Kirby Games instead of Copied Neutral Specials.
• Down-Tilt - Slide Kick: Performs a forward Sliding Kick.
• Dash-Attack: His Brawl & Smash 4 Dash Attack, Break Spin, is back and functions the same as it did in Brawl & Smash 4.
• Side-Smash - Staff: Swings the Staff forward.
• Up-Smash - Yo-Yo: Spins the Yo-Yo upwards, then brings it back to him.
• Down-Smash - Bell: Performs a spin and then strikes on both sides of him with his bells, creating 2 damaging soundwaves.
• Forward-Throw - Giant Swing: Does a giant swing forward.
• Back-Throw - Air Suplex: Does a backwards Suplex.
• Up-Throw - Ultra Back Breaker: Jumps, spins around & lands to the ground with the opponent for an explosion.
• Down-Throw - Megaton Slam: Lifts the opponent up & then throws them onto the ground.
• Neutral-Special: Name & Function remain the same though now it also functions like it does in the Kirby Games.
• Side-Special - Circus: Does two short somersaults and backsaults back to where he started the attack.
• Up-Special - Hi-Jump: Jumps high into the air and turns left or right and can collide with opponents along the way.
• Down-Special: The Move Stays but with some tweaks here and there as Stone can now slide temporarily while dashing and using the move.
• Final-Smash - Paint Out: Sprays blobs of paint all over, causing damage and knockback to opponents.

Fox:

• Final-Smash - Arwing: Says "It's go time", then hops aboard on the arwing, then goes into First-Person Perspective and fires arwing shots and smart bombs.

Pikachu:

• Pikachu will also now have alternate colors instead of Headwear, although its Pikachu Libre costume remains. Its alternate colors include Blue (Marill), Gray (Togedemaru), White (Pachirisu), Orange (Raichu),
• Dash-Attack - Wild Charge: Shrouds in electricity, while charging at the opponent and smashes into them. It may inflict self-damage though.
• Up-Tilt - Thunder Punch: Punches with large hands of electricity upwards.
• Up-Smash - Iron Tail: Remains the same in function, but it also now glows whitish gray and hits a bit harder.
• Neutral-Aerial - Discharge: Lets loose some of its electricity to strike at all opponents.
• Neutral-Special - Electro Ball: Its body becomes surrounded in yellow electricity and multiple yellow sparks come off its body. The electricity then condenses at the middle of its face and forms into an Orange-yellow ball, then fires the ball at the opponent.
• Side-Special - Zippy Zap: Charges up electricity as it's surrounded by electricity after charge. If charged, it goes farther faster dash forwards. If Uncharged however, it makes a quick short dash forwards.
• Final-Smash - Volt Tackle: Electrifies its entire body and blast forwards like a super-charged projectile and If it manages to hit an opponent, a large electrical explosion comes upon impact, launching nearby fighters, also dealing electric damage.

Luigi:

• Like Mario, Luigi will now have his voice from Kevin Afghani instead of Charles Martinet due to the latter retiring from his acting career.
• Luigi is now able to Wall Jump.
• Luigi has the Elemental Medals Meter, which he can have his Poltergeist-00 switch by using the Shield Special, and can also refill the meter of the Element by using said button.
• Side-Smash - Hammer: Swings his hammer forward.
• Down-Aerial - Ground Pound: Butt Stomps downward, meteor spiking & bouncing on opponents.
• Neutral-Aerial - Jump Spin: Spins around himself.
• Neutral-Special - Thunderhand: Fires an Electricity Ball from his hand, dealing electric damage.
• Side-Special - Spin Tornado: Winds Up and Spins Forward, generating a tornado that covers him completely then dealing multiple Hits toward opponents in the way before launching them.
• Down-Special - Elemental Medals: Do specific attacks, all of which have a meter.
• Water: Deals water damage.
• Ice: Deals ice damage and can freeze opponents
• Fire: Deals fire damage.
• Down-Taunt: Luigi will briefly wear the Poltergust G-00 and flash the Strobulb in front of him to see if it's working properly. Opponents right in front of Luigi when he flashes the Strobulb will get stunned momentarily, as if their Shield was just broken.

Ness:

• When Ness hits the opponent with his Baseball Bat while his Side Smash is fully charged**,** the SMAAAASH!!! Text box appears.
• Down-Smash - Paralysis: Deals stun damage with his PSI.
• Neutral-Special - Slingshot: Pulls out a slingshot, then fires a Slingshot projectile, which can be aimed forwards, upwards or downwards.
• Side-Special: His old Neutral Special, PK Flash, is moved here and now he can fire it.
• Down-Special - Lifeup: Heals damage with his PSI.
• Final-Smash - PSI Rockin' Ω: Fires a PSI burst forward & creates several psychic fireworks on any caught opponents before releasing a larger burst.

Captain Falcon:

• Neutral-Special - Pistol: Pulls out a pistol, then shoots an energy blast, dealing electric damage.

Jigglypuff:

• Jigglypuff now has alternate colors instead of Headwear. These Alternate Colors include Blue (Marill), Black (Gastly), Beige (Rowlet), Gray (Togedemaru), Green (Solosis), Purple (Koffing) and Light-Yellow (Togepi).
• Jab - Double Slap: Performs two alternating slaps forward, which can be used five times.
• Side-Tilt - Uproar: Causes an Uproar, making sound waves come out of its mouth at the opponent.
• Up-Tilt - Mega Punch: Performs a strong punch with its right hand upwards.
• Down-Tilt - Round: Takes a quick breath, then fires a high-pitched blast of sound from its mouth.
• Dash-Attack - Take Down: Recklessly charges at the opponent, dealing damage.
• Side-Smash - Focus Punch: Punches opponents with a high amount of force.
• Up-Smash - Drain Punch: Punches with its fists upwards,
• Down-Smash - Frustration: Slams its hand onto the ground in anger.
• Neutral-Aerial - Gyro Ball: Gets surrounded by a metallic aura, then spins rapidly and slams the opponent.
• Forward-Aerial - Brick Break: Performs a forward swing chop.
• Back-Aerial - Mega Kick: Performs a strong backwards kick.
• Up-Aerial - Icy Wind: Releases a wind of Ice from its mouth upwards, dealing ice damage and freezing opponents.
• Down-Aerial - Body Slam: Falls downward onto the opponent, also meteor spiking them.
• Pummel: Its Old Side Special, Pound, is moved here and now it just punches the opponent.
• Forward-Throw - Zen Headbutt: Headbutts opponents with psychic willpower, launching them away.
• Back-Throw - Fling: Picks the opponent up, then throws them.
• Up-Throw - Psychic: Holds the opponent in place with its mind, then throws them upward.
• Down-Throw: Its old Neutral Special, Rollout, is moved here and turns itself into a boulder, then pins the opponent down and rolls on their back.
• Neutral-Special - Disarming Voice: Lets out a Charm Cry that does emotional damage to the opponent.
• Side-Special - Dazzling Gleam: Emits a Powerful Flash.
• Up-Special - Bounce: Jumps into the air, then lands back on the opponents or stages, bouncing on the opponent and/or stage, which when landing and bouncing on the opponent, it can use other attacks, but when landing on the stage instead of opponent it can't directly attack again.
• Down-Special: Its old Up Special, Sing, is moved here.
• Final-Smash - Hyper Voice: Inhales a bunch of air, inflating her balloon-like body a bit, before letting out a loud attack that uses sound waves & blasts opponents backwards quite a distance.
• Side-Taunt: The animation remains exactly the same, but sparkly energy now surrounds her body
• Up Victory Pose: Jigglypuff twirls around like a ballerina as sparkly energy surrounds her body, before hopping on one leg and posing for the camera.

And, there you go. This took a little while, though i hope you to hear your feelings about these changes (as long as your reasons are good). Any changes that you want to see to the Original 12 that I didn't mention, or did I misplace some moves? or did I add a change that was unnecessary to some of you? It'd be cool to see what other people can come up with.

So we filed for a va loan modification, signed all papers with a notary, they got filed in our city…we were told the new payment amount and tried to use the app every month and it would not work to take payment so every single month my husband would call them to pay and we would get told that once the modification is processed we can make a payment on the app. This kept going on for a couple months we thought that’s weird until one day we get a letter stating we are $7,000 behind and we had to pay that. That was with the old amount also. They said they have no records of the loan modification and we just had not been paying. But yet they already have the $30,000 lien on the property through the va because that was gave to the company to lower our payment. We don’t have any proof that we tried to pay besides maybe phone records where he called but who would think to record calls when they say they record but they lie to us everytime. Also this company has bought out our loan so we had no choice….we are suffering the consequences for them to get richer and take and take.

Being purposely teased and aggravated at work. What should I do?
I work as a mechanic for diesel engines. My preferred name is "jet" I rode with a guy named Aaron who all day before called me jet. But today he called me my legal name. I said please call me jet once. Then again he called me my legal name. I let old cats who speak spanish call me my legal name. He said I'm calling you (legal name) I said I'd prefer he'd not. He said "I'm not calling a grown ass man Jet" then he said "No disrespect, but I'm not calling a grown ass man Jet". The lead was defending him and said "I don't want to make this comparison but transgenders, they ask to be called they them." I would be mad, but he said no disrespect. Then said something extremely disrespectful. Like my name is ridiculous? Then the lead said "if you expect everyone to do what you want you are going to have a hard time in life". The lead is 23 and the other tech is 19. I'm the oldest 25. I'm sorry but was that not disrespectful? I asked to be called jet by english speakers and he tried to get a rise out of me. The lead doesn't like me because I asked about pay and to actually be trained. They are having me do stuff with no previous training and when I ask questions they say "jet wants us to hold his hands through everything" so I'm considering switching shifts. This place is such a sketchy place full of people around 19-24. I'm one of the older techs and I respect his position. But they are purposely trying to get me angry. They are friends out of work to, they went to his birthday party and hang out after work off the clock. What do I do?

My boyfriend (20), sister (25), mom (old enough), and I (22) are on vacation. This was my last vacation paid for by my parents. My sister and my boyfriend put some money in to pay their way. My mom ultimately paid for majority of the trip. For this certain situation, since she paid for the rental car I proposed the three of us at least split the gas. So that’s what we did.
My mom and sister wanted to go get tattoos, while my boyfriend wanted to go spend some time on our own. I asked for my mom to drop us off at an arcade/mini golf/ axe throwing place. To be fair I did say it was alright we could just get an Uber to take us back. We ended up across the street seeing a movie afterwards. She texted me not too long later saying they were meeting her friend for dinner across the street from where we were. She asked if we needed a ride. They were meeting the same time the movie started. She said it was happy hour and they would likely be there for a while. I then replied with, well if you have a few drinks we can walk over to you guys and drive home.
During the movie I had been somewhat watching my phone for a text. When the movie ended I looked at my phone and had a text 15 minutes ago from my sister saying they had just left. My mom then texted me saying they were at the casino, which is about 10-12 minutes away from where we were. I asked if they could pick us up from a fast food restaurant whenever they were done. My mom replied saying no, she didn’t want to drive back that way. I replied saying that my boyfriend and I did pay for the gas, so going to get us would cost her nothing but 10 minutes. She then proceeded to say she had 3 margaritas so no. I reminded her that I said we would have driven them. She then told me to leave her alone.
We took an Uber and all was fine. I was just a little annoyed. We got home before them and when they arrived the yelling started. She was mad I mentioned that we did pay for the gas. Which sure I guess I didn’t need to say that. I just didn’t see this being that big of a deal. Was I rude? I am just trying to get the right perspective. My sister is always calling my mom a bitch and saying a lot worse things in situations like these. I guess I typically compare how I react to that. I often feel like there are double standards like this. I know the situation is so dumb. I appreciate all feedback.

Yesterday, I came in to a high school that I usually sub for on a half day. I love subbing there cause of the nice staff and the students are usually pretty good. But the last time I came there, I was subbing for an English teacher that I previously subbed for before and everything was great until the last block (block 4). It was a little difficult to get them on task for their writing assignment but I always remained diligent, kind and respectful toward them.
After they left, I had noticed they were fooling around with post-it’s behind my back as they were sitting and I didn’t notice the mess until after dismissal, I stayed after to clean up the mess for the teacher and that was it lol.
Needless to say, yesterday, I received a huge vanilla folder with my name on it with apology letters written by each student addressed to me. I had totally forgotten about the incident but nonetheless it made me crack up. It’s nice that the teacher read my sub notes and that we have staff that care for their subs like this! Of course I wrote a letter back expressing my gratitude and telling the students I forgive them xD

Disclaimer: Not all Norwegian people are like that. These are just my observations & experiences & perhaps other people might disagree with me and that’s ok.

1. There is no individuality in this country. Everyone talks, dresses, thinks, acts the same way. Their houses all look the same. They use the same phones, they drive the same cars. I’d say that everyone even wants the same things, has the same goals. They don’t have any unique family traditions. You’ll see a trampoline in every single house garden. People expect you to conform to their Norwegian ways and if you don’t you’re branded as a weirdo and freak of nature. People have the same hobbies.
   
2. Norwegians are the worst gossipers I’ve met in my entire life. It’s actually quite funny because they are seen as these calm, peaceful, introverted people but they talk shit about everything and everyone behind their backs while pretending to like them at the same time. When they get caught and get confronted about their judgmental & two faced behaviour they constantly use words like “ I didn’t mean it like that”, “ it’s just an expression in Norwegian” ( when it really isn’t), “ I wasn’t judging I was just making conversation”, etc. When you get past through this bs & successfully call them out they will say that in Norway it’s normal to gossip.
   
3. Family life is horrible and exhausting. The in-laws are up in your ass*s all the time and it’s even worse if you are a woman married to a Norwegian man. Prepare yourself for unsolicited advice and judging your ways of parenting and living because you simply aren’t Norwegian. If you don’t behave a certain way especially for Norwegian families, it creates too much drama. They keep meeting up all the time, like good families, but most of the time they just sit there talking about the same things over and over again, old gossip or just silence.
   
4. They are passive aggressive and that stems from the fact they are incapable of showing their true feelings or expressing their actual thoughts. They hate confrontation. This creates dishonesty and just bad situations overall. When you call them out on their rudeness and condescending attitude they get so defensive and start pulling out words & sentences like “you have misunderstood me” “, “I didn’t mean it in a rude way” “I was just giving you advice”, “I was just being kind”, “oh it’s because I don’t speak English very well you don’t understand me” when in fact 99,9% of the population here speaks English very well. And when you try to explain to them that you haven’t in fact misunderstood them you’re painted out as this horrible person who is accusing them of things “they didn’t mean”.
   
5. People will show you they speak English and then proceed to only speak in Norwegian, ignore you and just speak to your partnefriend/ whoever you have next to you who speaks Norwegian even when the conversation regards you too and it’s important to you. Which brings me to my next point.
   
6. Everyone speaks English, but you will never fit in here, if you don’t speak Norwegian. Groups never try to accommodate you by having everyone speak English, because they don’t really want to. They want to speak Norwegian. That’s okay that they like speaking their own language in their own country, it’s their right 100%, but first of all I find it extremely rude if it’s a person who is just visiting the country and just sits there in a group of people feeling excluded because nobody puts the effort to speak English. Secondly even for a person who lives in Norway and is the transitioning position of learning the language it is still rude because they still might not understand a lot of Norwegian. They also do something really horrible, you might speak English with them and when they want to say something they don’t want you to know they switch to Norwegian in front of you. It’s always funny when you know the meaning of what they just said and you translate for them and they end up feeling embarrassed.
   
7. Norwegians truly believe their way of doing things is superior to other people’s ways. If you disagree with them they will make sure they get their way. They believe they are entitled to be the advisor on a situation as if they are the holder of wisdom, knowledge, experience, they never listen, especially to outside perspectives because they are so conforming and used to their own ways. Anything else just shocks them.
   
8. They think they will die in the heat. They actually think hot weather is dangerous. My MIL thinks it’s dangerous for our child to be in the Mediterranean during the summer. They keep blabbing all the time how cold the weather in Norway is and are for some strange reason proud of it in a way (maybe because they think it looks “cool” that they can endure cold weather?) but once they must be in a hot country they are scared of it and talk about it aaaaall the time.
   
9. They throw and waste so much food.
   
10. The drinking problem is obvious to everyone.
    
11. They are extremely stingy to the point it’s a bit sad. Even inside their own families they Vipps each other for simple things such as being dropped off somewhere with the car or buying a bottle of water. I’ve never seen this before in my life anywhere.
    
12. They pride themselves for being introverted, cold, unfriendly and not talking to strangers and I never understood why they think it’s something to be proud of.
    
13. Good luck finding friends here. They only stick to people they’ve known since primary school times, they have already created their own social bubbles and you’re not welcome in them because you don’t go way back. This is a problem even Norwegians themselves face.
    
14. On the positive side of things Norwegians will return things they don’t belong to them, they will make sure to at least find the owner of a lost item they’ve found, they are good at keeping the crime rate as low as possible and a safe society for everyone.
    
15. One might say they are nationalistic and that it’s bad but it’s actually interesting and nice to see them celebrating 17th of May, wearing their traditional clothes, being happy and enjoying themselves.
    
16. They like to be close with nature and are very active people. I would not say that their diet or food they eat is particularly healthy but they like to keep in shape and do outdoor activities a lot.
    
17. There is high social mobility.
