This is an extremely difficult to explain story so in just a single post, but I'll try. My wife's son seemingly had a history of ADHD, depression and possibly concussive related psych issues. (Not officially diagnosed). My wife and I had a daughter and after her birth he started going downhill. He alleged that his biological dad sexually abused him and there did seem to be some merit to that claim but every time he got somewhere with therapists he would ruin it somehow. He caused many scenes in our home destroying things claiming it was an accident or he doesn't know what happened. It seemed as if he was trying to have us push him away but eventually these actions got so severe we had to do just that.
He eventually said that he was having what he described to be unwanted sexual thoughts of kids including our then 7 year old daughter. His tantrums were much more dramatic (he was early 20 at this time). He demanded to be taken to psych hospitals where he stayed several times. He claimed the kids thoughts were more out of control than ever and it was regarding every child now. He wound up seeing a forensic psychologist who said these were not unwanted thoughts and he was placed in a group home. Shortly after this we found out he left the group home disappearing completely.
It was nearly a year til we found out he had gone to work at a ranch in COL where ironically kids attended and he was reportedly a great employee and had seemingly no psych issues. We were horrified because he had made such scenes that he could not be around children that before he was put in the group home the agency helping him suggested we be on a schedule so our daughter would not use bathroom at same times he would. We felt trapped in our own homes.
When we reached out to see what was going on and how he was suddenly better (seeing as we were still receiving medical bills for him and he had claimed he was completely incapacitated before moving). No sooner than we reached out he had left the ranch and was missing for another year in which he found a girl online and moved to NC to live with a girl and her family. When we finally discovered his location (no thanks to legit identity.. he used fake names on social media) we went to NC to find him and get answers.
At that time I wanted justice for what he put us through at the time in Ohio. The torture of constant stories seeing as he had no issues seemingly with children any longer based on where he had worked. We found him and it was with great shock to the girlfriends family. He wanted to keep her from finding out about his past in Ohio so he painted myself and his mom as bad people. He admitted to her when we showed up that this was a lie. However he told us they had recently broke up. It was at that time that the girlfriend began talking to us and told us he had raped her multiple times and injured her during the course of their relationship.
Here is the problem.. the story this girlfriend has said is completely crazy but the police are investigating it and because of step sons previous actions and crazy behavior (he has literally written documents that police know about that say all he thinks about is rape) he is guilty based on circumstances evidence alone. His mother (my wife) has become very sympathetic to his current situation and it has fast tracked him right past addressing what horrible things he said, did regarding the past.. I am still very angry and part of me wants justice yet I have no idea what that would be and if that would just be damning to him with other issues in NC. I am quite sure that is a story that is not true and both him and this girl both have psych issues unresolved.
As for the fact that he claims our daughter was "the one" he obsessed about daily. He says he was just trying to self destruct with us and force me to "kill him". His stories however were extremely detailed. On one occasion we went to a sporting event in city and he said because we took him to this event he was exposed to so many kids who he began imagining uncontrollable naked. He blamed us for these instances which in turn filled us with great guilt and suffering. I can't even begin to describe how hard this time was and the stories he would say. My question is what would anyone do in this case? Forget what he said and did and the hell you went through? If what he is claiming is true he sexualized our daughter for the sake of attention and getting us to hate him not to mention the random kids he claimed we caused him to "look at". He admitted to random other things including these feelings at psych hospitals before leaving town. He admitted to masturbation everywhere he went in bathrooms and even in class as an 18 year old up until 20 year old at work. Back in my days, everyone lied about being older so that they are treated more seriously. I remember playing a browser game that was popular among pre-teens and early teens, and the most common responses to "What is your age" question were 16 and 18 for obvious reasons.
But now, I see a lot of anonymous (as they are anonymous, they can say anything about themselves) internet accounts that explicitly tell "not to be weird/mean/something " to them because they are a minor. Especially on tumblr and to the lesser excent Twitter. This phenomenon also has a political dimension, because most of these accounts are socially progressive.
What happened? Why do minors not want to be in adult online spaces anymore and be seen as adults? Why is this especially prominent for social progressives?

Yes! Slippi is a branch of the Dolphin emulator that will allow you to play online, either with your friends or with matchmaking. Go to https://slippi.gg to get it.
Netplay is hard! Is there a place for me to find new players?
Yes. Melee Newbie Netplay is a discord server specifically for new players. It also has tournaments based on how long you've been playing, free coaching, and other stuff. If you're a bit more experienced but still want a discord server for players around your level, we recommend the Melee Online discord.
How can I set up Unclepunch's Training Mode?
First download it here. Then extract everything in the folder and follow the instructions in the README file. You'll need to bring a valid Melee ISO (NTSC 1.02)
I'm having issues with Slippi!

This is not only a point I have when it comes to Forza, but basically every car game I play.
I'm a hard working guy and don't have much time to play. So grinding a game for currency is impossible for me.
So in FH5 I glitched my money to max and since then I play offline. It made the game so much more enjoyable for me bc finally I was able to buy and test all the expensive cars.
I remember in Midnight club LA, after you finished the story, there was the 1mil deal. You needed to grind 1 mil to buy yourself into the garage and then everything was for free.
I would love to see something like that, or a creative mode option in FH6. It would be completely fine for me if playing online would be disabled for this mode, so there's a fair competition online.
Just for guys like me, adults with a full time job and a lot of responsibilities and not much time to play, it would make the whole game content accessible.

I'm a hard working guy and don't have much time to play. So grinding a game for currency is impossible for me.
So in FH5 I glitched my money to max and since then I play offline. It made the game so much more enjoyable for me bc finally I was able to buy and test all the expensive cars.

2024.06.09 09:43 Interesting_Yam_5375 The PDs should of thought about the audience this show was going to attract, a lot of people wanted a wholesome show. How do you guys feel about dating shows now after watching MSR? (Spoilers are included)
I truly felt the PDs should of been more aware of the audience they would attract look what most of us were doing in the comments on reddit, in reaction videos on youtube, so many of us were here for a wholesome dating show to see people be normal, play games and share their stories. I don't find chaos fun that's not why I stayed... I wishes they had some kind of love coach and therapist to the show as a help clinic for people to lightly talk about their worries about love instead (sounds like a stretch but when I was checking the show too hot too handle for the first and last time they had some sort of wellness people doing things for personal growth and i thought it was nice). Anyways I've seen people like me who because of this show has felt like it was the last draw for watching korean dating shows a lot of us hoped this would be different like we would of seen more genuine and authentic people like dovorsed singles 4. I would get so excited and count down the days to watch this show before, but the thing that once made me happy just overwhelmed with stress like its not in a an accelerating way where something goes wrong but you are releived of it at some point (exemplar SS-JS misunderstanding ep 14 but SS apologised). It's like MSR gave us a glimmer of hope in seeing a balance of Romantic and CLASSICAL LOVE ( learnt about this from the school of life and realised the importance of this).
Switching partners is fine but facilitating discomfort and confusion felt wrong. They should of kept the yes/no marker for selection so people can feel free to heal and just be friends while they are here and not dissapoint others.....

I swear to you I just paid for a gym membership and I'm going today, I realised I needed more mf hobbies, im just as Jonathan reacted right now 'life doesn't feel real' 'life is a lie' 'people are lying'. Eventhough it is a small minority I still see people trying to validate and normalise YW behaviour and its just insulting to say the least, who wants to live in a society where someone like YW is still pedostalise? he is NOT a catch, you guys sound like the people who would stick by a husband who committed a crime (yes i know its not on the same scale but the principal is the same, gaslighting others with whats wrong with that? its x and y' fault for behaving like this even though they didnt deserve it - showing an inability to understand whats wrong). This is someone everyone wants to avoid but once your in a relationship with the Youngwoos your enamored by the gold plating and it begins to fall apart and patches of rusted metal is shown, you hold hope that you can help them (kind of like was CA did so early on) you try to stick by them because you only see a few patches of rusted metal, you believe in their ability to develop into good people as they gaslight and manipulate you amd they were in capable of cleaning themselves up internally and only suited themselves up externally. This feels like another Gwanhee moment but worse because at least he felt the weight of his behaviour when someone let him know.

- what was the point of the telephone calls from parents?
- and the bringing of food It was hard to watch when it came to CA x CH do you want us to pity them? It was exclusionary
- Glossing over YW career tbh I'm still not sure what he is doing but similar to airing CA past as a yoga instructor they should have done this for YW because it seemed like a big part of his career and lifestyle in comparison to being a pilot. I'm sure JW knows that he's in her industry right? But the viewers dug this up and that's when skepticism started online.
- Scheduling to make sure everyone is actually available they made a mistake.
- The karaoke episode was so long like 45min to an hour of hmm what song? How do I sound.. it felt filler and a lot of people dropped it at this point.
- For a wholesome show that bring in the family what was the point having half of the casts parent show up (there were parents who didnt show up) and the talk eventhough it was still wholesome there was nothing about it was generative besides song picking. I feel like they could of used the time for the parents to share fun facts and beautiful things about their children. This would of done a lot for the viewers to keep in mind.
- Finally, THE MOST IMPORTANT THING, they should have left the yes and no options for text messaging moving forward. It would of stopped people from getting confused, hurt, rushed and being shamed by the public.
