Thus heaven and earth and all their adornment were finished and on the seventh day God finished the works he made. Then God blessed the 7th day and sanctified it because in it He rested from all his works God began to make.
This story doesn’t add up where God come from and why then? Even as someone who believes there is a creator I don’t understand how it’s him and if he is as powerful as he is why did it take him 7 days to make the earth and then need rest? Shouldn’t someone so powerful think of it in an instant? Also how is time told he doesn’t make the sun and moon until the 4th day so how were evening and morning created in the start? If he created the universe and every animal why didn’t he mention dinosaurs or the ice age or even give a significant hint of one instead of being vague with the creeping things and the wild animals of earth if he knew about those ahead of time wouldn’t mentioning it help prove that he is an almighty being who can see into the future? Yes you could argue that maybe it’s not important but remember if Adam and Eve came to earth later how come it doesn’t add up to what we know about the dinosaurs and the ice age? How come God didn’t mention removing them for the safety of Adam and Eve?
Also about firmament which I found out is separating heaven from earth and that there is a waterfall separating heaven and earth? What about space and the other planets God doesn’t even mention those in a vague way? God formed man out of dust from the ground and breathed in his face the breath of life and man became a living soul.
You know at least Allah says we were made from water which is more accurate than this? Science has proven that we are made up of 6 elements Oxygen Carbon Nitrogen Calcium and Phorsopus. Only about 0.85% is composed of another five elements: potassium, sulfur, sodium, chlorine, and magnesium. All 11 are necessary for life. The remaining elements are trace elements, of which more than a dozen are thought on the basis of good evidence to be necessary for life.[1] All of the mass of the trace elements put together (less than 10 grams for a human body) do not add up to the body mass of magnesium, the least common of the 11 non-trace elements.
Yes you could argue that you could mix logic and spirituality but you can say that about any religion as well In the Quran it says seemen begins from the backbone and goes down to the ribs that’s clearly illogical but do I defend it saying I can’t mix logic and spirituality? What about Greek Mythology they had Zeus give birth to a full grown warrior woman by eating her mother when they were shapeshifting and trapping the mother who later gave birth to her in his head? I can’t say that logically either.

Also in the middle of the Garden were the tree of life and learning the knowledge of good and evil. Then how were Adam and Eve supposed to know what they were doing is wrong?

Once again how is Adam supposed to know what’s good and evil? Not only is he in ‘’perfect paradise’’ that shelters him, he doesn't even possess the basic knowledge of a child of right and wrong most kids usually do? How does Adam know what death is?

These are one of the few verses saying God doesn’t lie yet he tells Adam he will die from death(God of the Bible lacks basic grammar skills) that itself is a lie since we know what happens later. In his 10 commandments for kids to adults he says lying is a sin he also repeatedly mentions hypocrisy as a sin yet he himself not even 5 minutes into the Bible has proved guilty of this. So how do I trust anything that comes out of his mouth and that’s even if I do believe he is not a deity?
Now the serpent was more cunning than all the wild animals the lord God made on earth.
Isn’t the serpent Satan supposed to be an angel? It even said he was cast out of heaven because he tried to overthrow God by sitting in his throne while God the omnipresent(can do anything including seeing into the future and being everywhere) went away to do something. Anyway, how is Satan supposed to be smarter than the other animals? Also it’s been awhile since I studied animals as a hobby but snakes aren’t that smart on the side of animals pigs and elephants and many others are smarter. Where did Satan even learn human speech?
Then they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the Garden that afternoon and Adam and his wife hid themselves within the tree in the middle of the garden from the presence of the Lord God. So the lord God called Adam and said to him. ‘’Adam, where are you”. He replied, I heard your voice as you were walking in the garden and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself.’’ Thus he said, ‘’Who said you were naked? Have you eaten from the one tree which I commanded you not eat? Then Adam said. The woman you gave me, gave me of the tree, and I ate.’ Then God punished them for eating the apple Eve with childbirth and Adam with having to get a job.
Like I said a few times, how is Adam/Eve supposed to know right from wrong if they hadn’t eaten the fruit of knowledge and he left a manipulative monster or angel who tried to recently overthrow him? How is that grounds for punishing everyone else based on something someone else did? It just seems like a cheap way for the Christian God to demonize gaining knowledge or morals outside of him without an actual argument for why? The fact he does this in the first official story is a red flag on its own. Also how is God surprised he knows their entire story before they were even made? How is he confused about what Satan would do? Also this is also another lie and contradiction he told Adam he would die from death and I assume Adam passed that onto Eve and he let Satan off with little to nothing because from the few we see of him he could go anywhere he pleases while Adam and Eve carter to him for the rest of their lives in hopes that he doesn’t punish them even worse. How is he forgiving but at the same time he punishes Adam and Eve immediately for a decision they couldn’t make on their own instead of explaining how it’s wrong and still giving them another chance?

In the handbook, on pages 59-60, the ADL espouses views that are word-for-word taken from 'replacement theory'.

A bi-national state, in principle and in practice, would mean the ideological end of the Jewish State of Israel and lead to the forsaking of Jewish nationalism and identity, along with its special status as a refuge for Jews fleeing persecution.
Furthermore, bi-nationalism is unworkable given current realities and historic animosities. With historically high birth rates among the Palestinians, and a possible influx of Palestinian refugees and their descendants now living around the world, Jews would quickly be a minority within a bi-national state, thus likely ending any semblance of equal representation and protections. The interplay between right-wing nationalism & support for Israel
The ADL's primary purpose now is to defend Israel's apartheid regime.Note how Rep. Stefanik is pictured in the ADL tweet. She is the one leading the charge right now with these public antisemitism inquisitions of college administrators.
Right-wing nationalists support Israel because they want to emulate Israel's policies towards Palestinians (as a stand-in for immigrants, PoC, leftists, etc.).
A study on European antisemitism found that xenophobes (who rated higher in antisemitism) tend to support Israel due to its immigration policies. Whereas those critical of Israeli policy were less xenophobic & less antisemitic.
- This fits the American Right too.

In order to maintain that demographic majority, Israel uses discriminatory legislation & enormous State violence.
A lot of Zionists obfuscate what Zionism means now (for all practical purposes) by signaling some support/empathy for Palestinians. So the primary question one must ask, is whether you support a Jewish demographic majority in Israel.
If the answer is 'yes' - then you're justifying massive discrimination & violence against the Palestinian out-group. It no longer matters what games one plays with the 'definition' of 'Zionist'.

- Peter notes that Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the ADL, has to 'code-switch' when advocating for Israel, for this very reason. Whereas, someone like Mike Pompeo, who is also a cultish nationalist, is more forthcoming in what he wants for America. For Pompeo, it's perfectly fine to support an analog to the Jewish National Fund in America (ie a hypothetical Christian National Fund; an organization that would support land access/development for Christians only). Greenblatt would lose his mind if a CNF existed in America - but he won't propose abolishing the JNF in Israel.
- The JNF is a discriminatory organization that advocated for the theft of Palestinian land and expulsion of Palestinians. Ben-Gurion used them as a third-party to transfer land Israel stole from the Palestinians. Today the Israel Land Association's board includes 10-12 seats for JNF members, so the Israeli State is explicitly involved in discriminatory land development and housing projects.
The ADL's history of anti-Palestine activism: the spying case

I wasn’t planning on updating again until after the baby was born, but a lot has happened since I last posted.
I found a very nice couple to adopt my unborn baby. They have two sons and one daughter already. My dad and lawyer did background checks and everything. They’re a nice family who want a large family. They have two biological children, but can no longer have any more, so, they want to adopt as many as they’re allowed. But unless I get their permission, that’s all I can tell you about them right now. I don’t know how much they want out there. But they said they would give their daughter any letter or note write to her once she reached fourteen or fifteen depending on when they think she’s ready and can comprehend everything.
I know a lot of people have been getting on me because I say uncle and aunt instead of aunt and uncle. I think someone even corrected me on that. I get aunt and uncle may sound better, but I say uncle first because he’s my dad’s brother and my aunt married in. If my aunt were my dad’s sister, I would say aunt first. Maybe that’s wrong, but that’s how I put it.
But getting to them. My uncle is in jail for getting drunk and then getting into a verbal fight with my dad and a physical fight with some people in public. My aunt is in a psychiatric ward after threatening suicide after I continued to deny her my unborn baby. It only got worse when she found out I found a couple.
My grandpa had a mild stroke and was temporarily placed in a different home than grandma. He sincerely apologized for saying everything he said and did, but still thinks I’m being ungrateful. Still, he said he supports my decision and won’t stop me.
My grandma apologized to dad but refused to look at me until a few days ago. She said she was sorry and that she understood that being a mother at fifteen is difficult. But that was why I should have let my uncle and aunt have my unborn baby. However, I’m going to be sixteen in two weeks, so I’ll be sixteen when my baby is born. So, seeing as I will be sixteen, I should be able to handle being a mother. Not only that, but this may be my only chance to have a baby. And that got me thinking about what if she’s right. What if this was my only chance? But I also know I’m not ready and that I would feel awful if I backed out of the adoption when I really liked the couple. So, my grandma is back to refusing to have anything to do with me.
I decided that if this was the only chance I got to be pregnant, then it’s just not meant to be. If I can’t have any babies in the future, I’ll get plenty of ice cream and maybe some more cats, dogs, hamsters, or whatever. I would love to be a mom in the future, but whatever happens, happens.
I’m just starting to become comfortable and my therapist says keeping the baby could throw everything off. But she also says it’s my choice.
I must be blind or really stupid because I didn’t realize my dad was gay (or bi) and that his best friend who is always over helping is actually his boyfriend. I didn’t know and just thought he was a very good friend. I accept them because they seem very happy together. And I believe love is love. However, I really wish I didn’t find out the way I did.
Short version: it was late at night and I got up to use the bathroom. I heard noises coming from my dad’s room that I didn’t recognize, so I went to investigate. And that’s where I’m leaving that.
My dad’s teaching assistant came over a few weeks ago and I met him. He’s very, very nice. He just turned nineteen. He knows I was attacked and that I’m putting the baby up for adoption. He also knows that certain family members are against it, but he doesn’t know any personal details. He asked me out on a date last week. Dad said fine, but it had to be supervised. My friends and their partners were supposed to go with.
The date was supposed to be Friday afternoon. However, I became sick and it only became worse as the days went by. Dad finally made me go to the ER Thursday night. I have two blood clots: a small one in my chest and a medium-sized one next to my right lung.
So, I’ve been stuck in the hospital since then. And I will be stuck here until they say the clots are manageable outside of the hospital. However, the nurses and one doctor recommended that because I am pregnant and am due soon, I should just stay in the hospital until after she is born. I don’t know how I feel about that. I don’t want to stay in the hospital any longer than I have to.
Originally I was told I was due at the end of July or beginning of August. Now they’re saying most likely July.
Please, can someone give me any advice because everyone I know is telling me to listen to the doctors.
My cats are still kittens and would destroy the cords, so they can’t be here. I feel like I’m losing my mind.

Following the previous post here’s a recap of the 6th day from the 3rd week of the "World Wide League 07" project (full playlist of it can be found here).
Some notes:
You can find descriptions of each division as well as the teams participating in them on the Week 1 posts previously submitted in this subreddit.
Every time you see a team with their name in bold, it's a team of which every match will be recorded.
For ordering the leaderboard table, I simply use whatever the game displays (when there are full ties, it simply orders the teams at random) and then do some correlation since once the week of matches is done, the first match of the next week happens automatically offscreen.
WEEK 3 DAY 6
6th Division (Morning)
The results of the 11 matches from this division’s 3rd week were the following:

Match 2: Atalanta vs Rangers
Quite simply, the home team outclassed their opponents for most of the match, being gifted the initial goal and then building upon it. The away team did manage to score a goal of their own, but it was far too late to make any difference.
Match 3: AS Nancy vs Brøndby IF
Despite the away team's several chances, it was the home team and their one shot on target that resulted in the only goal of the match.
Match 4: Cruz Azul vs Sheffield Utd
Poor shooting overall, and the only goal of the game had some help from the home keeper's inaction to a close-range shot.
Match 5: Real Betis vs Sochaux
Not very accurate shooting, but the home team took full advantage of 2 very easy chances to achieve victory.
Match 6: Cruzeiro vs Nantes
After the home team took the lead in the 1st half, the away team equalized with a very silly goal, but just as the match was closing to an end the home team managed to score again and take the win.
Match 7: RC Santander vs Reading
The biggest blowout of the season so far, it was an absolute massacre from the moment one of the home team's defenders got red carded, and the visitors showed no mercy.
Match 8: Tarragona vs Toulouse
Plenty of easy goals on the 1st half, though the goalkeepers were in good form for the rest of the match.
Match 9: Hannover 96 vs Corinthians
Away team took the lead with a nice goal and the only reason there were no more goals were 2 good goalkeepers and defences making use of offside traps.
With all that in mind, the leaderboard after this division’s 3rd week of matches is as follows:

Match 2: Mainz vs Nice
Despite many attempts, neither team managed to create a good enough chance to score througout the entire match.
Match 3: Anderlecht vs Livorno
The home team took advantage of a poor defense from their opponents to score twice, and losing a player didn't affect this lead, as the away team was still unable to shoot accurately enough.
Match 4: Empoli vs R. Sociedad
The home team kept trying and trying but nothing seemed to work to get past the away keeper, until a big opportunity near the end of the match finally gave them what they were looking for.
Match 5: Getafe vs Wigan Athletic
It was a close match, but in the end the away team was the only one that managed to find their way to the back of the net.
Match 6: Feyenoord vs Rec. Huelva
After a goalless 1st half, the away team finally took the lead after the goalkeeper left too much of the goal uncovered, then the home team responded by equalizing in a rather bumpy moment between players. However the away team had the last laugh as they scored again and took the win.
Match 7: Fluminense vs Panathinaikos
The away team can owe big part of their victory in this match to their goalkeeper, who just kept on making saves and denying any chance of recovery to their opponents.
Match 8: Toluca vs Siena
Away team had a bunch of luck to score their first 2 goals, while their opponents were unable to make anything work overall, and they were dealt a final stab right at the end.
Match 9: Brugge vs RCD Mallorca
A match with plenty of saves in which the home team took an early lead that the visitors couldn't manage to equalize back, and a great goal in the 2nd half sentenced the match in favor of the former.

Match 2: América vs Le Mans UC 72
Pretty boring match with barely any chance created. The only interesting bit was the home goalkeeper saving 2 free kicks in a very similar manner during the 2nd half.
Match 3: Cagliari vs Udinese
Away team scored the only goal of the match despite having many less chances, as the home team was simply too wasteful.
Match 4: AZ Alkmaar vs Aston Villa
Apart from the one goal (which was pretty silly), there were no other serious chances as most shots were simply too weak to bother the goalkeepers.
Match 5: Monchengladbach vs Rennes
Home team was superior with their chance taking on the 1st half, while the visitors were marred with terrible shooting. The 2nd half was rather uneventful overall.
Match 6: Tigres vs PSV Eindhoven
The home team took good care of their initial chances to go to half-time with a 2 goal lead which stood still for the remainder of the game.
Match 7: Parma vs FC Nürnberg
The home team started strong with 2 goals in the first 10 minutes of the match. The visitors cut the gap just before half-time and then drew level in the 2nd half, but their opponents didn't let that stand and scored the winning goal in the closing stages.
Match 8: Ein. Frankfurt vs Levante
A goalless match mainly thanks to the home goalkeeper's several saves throughout the game.
Match 9: Sporting Lisbon vs Dep. La Coruna
Home team took an early lead thanks to a rebound goal, but said lead was lost in the 2nd half during a chaotic cornet where a striker from the visiting team ended up with the goal in front of an almost empty goal.

We can confidently say that we've all been there or will be there. Except for maybe 0.01%. But it doesn't matter if a few individuals haven't been there when the majority will recognize themselves.
This will be more of methods to get out of it, than why it happens.
You have a couple of weeks with profits, you feel like you've been consistent. You feel like you've done exactly what you're supposed to do to be a profitable trader. So you go in hoping to repeat the past two weeks. But the exact opposite happens, you lose and give back all your profits from two weeks in just a few days. Maybe even just one day. Your risk management, which you thought you had under control, has slipped out of your head.
This is what they call the boom and bust cycle. And we all have to go through it. I want to share a very effective method that worked for me. Well, and note that this may not work for everyone. I started to notice a pattern when this happened. I realized that I was a domino brick. If I first did something I knew I shouldn't do. Break a small rule, or trade when I shouldn't. Or just think about profit and not opportunities. After that, it started again.
The domino brick fell - just like a snowball that got bigger and bigger.
So then I thought; if you could stop the snowball before it got too big, then you might have solved the problem. What did I do to get out of this cycle? I did two important things.
Action #1 - Film your self at your worste😱
After I had broken all my rules and gambled instead of trading, I filmed myself and explained honestly and openly how I felt (I felt like crap). That recording is still something I watch from time to time - it's surprisingly painful to see it. It's a reminder of how you'll feel if you break your rules.
Action #2 - Feedback Form✅
I started to fill out a feedback form(very very simple questions) after each trading session. This form helped me to identify what I did wrong and what I could improve on. I wrote down what I did, what went wrong, and what I would do differently next time.
This is to stop the snowball from getting bigger and bigger. Because once you cant answer the questions as you should like «Have you followed your plan today?» If not. Then take a couple of days and zome out and ask your self why. No point starting to trade if you havent found out why.
This feedback form became a valuable tool for me to reflect on my actions and identify patterns that led to mistakes. Because I genuinely believe one mistake breeds another.
It's a simple yet effective way to learn from your mistakes and improve your consistency.

Throughout my lifetime as a Christian, the most powerful Faith inspiration for me has been the lives of 117 Vietnamese martyrs of my country, who suffered persecution and death for their undying faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. With this being the case, I really wish to commission icons of some of the martyrs in my ancestral hometown, hang them on my icon corner and pray to them as a form of veneration and also for intercession. However, since they died as Roman Catholics, I wonder whether it is allowed for me to commission their icons or not? And if allowed, then should I commission them without halos? And also, is it permissible to pray to them as saints in heaven since they died as martyrs? Some small note: During the era of Christian persecution in Vietnamese history (17th-19th century), there were exclusively Roman Catholic missionaries in the entire country so most of the canonized Vietnamese Martyrs probably didn't even know about the existence of any other Christian Churches like Orthodoxy. Since they died without ever hearing about the Orthodox Faith, can a case be made for them to be canonized in the Orthodox Church as well? I would love to advocate for their canonization should Orthodoxy starts to be spread widely in Vietnam in the future. As the tile says.The owners,one of them died and one of them is in a nursing home with late stage dementia. The surname of the seller (which I think is her son) is the same with the person with dementia in the nursing home.
On the TR1 form at the execution ,it says ''X acting as attorney for X'' (again,I think her son is acting as her attorney as his mom has late stage dementia).
We are buying with mortgage and a huge deposit. My fears are that maybe her mom is not in a nursing home,or she has more childrens that are not aware of the house sale or something.We dont want to lose the huge deposit.
Our solicitors sent us the TR1 form but there is nothing written in the Adittional Provisions section.
I know this is not the right place to ask for advice but maybe you guys have an idea of what should I ask my solicitor before I sign the TR1 form and contract of sale.

Adding a load to the plates and measuring the produced power indicated that with only 5W of input power, I was able to generate multiple kW impulses on the induction plates. Remarkably compact, the device is not much larger than a basketball and weighs only about 1.5kg, making it incredibly portable and versatile. Its size belies its capabilities, as it can easily serve as a power source for a house, electric car, or any other electric application. Furthermore, its construction is remarkably simple, requiring no complex electronic components or expensive materials, and it can be assembled at home using basic tools.

Thus, it does not violate thermodynamic laws, as it operates as an open system rather than a closed one. Its only requirement for operation is an initial kickstart, akin to most motors.  | A joint research effort of u/sc127 and u/lemonsaltwater submitted by lemonsaltwater to PolinBridgerton [link] [comments] Throughout Seasons 2 and 3, swans are a recurring theme in Colin and Pen’s story, both in terms of explicit imagery/sound and allusions to swan behavior and stories. There are so many allusions that it is clear the showrunners, and Julia Quinn,* want us to make these associations, as every detail is intentional. (\while neither of us have read the books, but based on character names, as well as references to the books on this sub, we can assume this. If you've read the books, please comment with more swan references! We do not present this as something hidden/new but rather for the fun of finding all of the references.)* The biggest allusion to swans is how swans mate for life and form into bonding pairs quite young, well before mating age. Trumpeter swans bond as young as 20 months — but then wait several years and don’t mate until at least the age of 4-7. Colin and Pen meet at a young age and form a friendship but it then takes several years for it to become romantic. Let’s plunge our beaks underwater and dive into how these associations play out for Colin and Pen individually and then as a couple. Colin’s character as a swanColin has always been a swan, even if he didn’t lean into it. It shows up in a variety of character traits throughout the seasons.Male swans are fiercely protective of their partners. We see Colin’s protectiveness over Pen show up multiple times. I did a longer post on the evolution of Colin's protectiveness a few weeks ago, but here are some scene highlights:
We'll likely see more of this in Part 2 (and various book spoilers indicate this as well). Male swans are also one of the few species of waterfowl that take an active role in rearing children. Male swans will sit on the eggs and protect them, unlike other waterfowl. In Seasons 1 and 2, Colin is often seen playing with his younger siblings. (We'll return to Anthony's wedding later.) His recurring appearance changes after his extended travels: Swans shed all of their feathers during their annual summer migration period. After his travels between S1 and S2, he returns with facial hair. After his travels between S2 and S3, he returns with new clothing. Penelope: Duck => SwanPenelope, meanwhile, needs to go through a transformation in order to become a swan.(There are a lot of motifs used for Penelope throughout the show: butterflies, cake, etc, but here we’re going to focus on ducks and swans.) Let’s start with her name. To get all Colin-season-2 for a moment, “Penelope” is believed to derive from the Ancient Greek word penelops, which means “duck.” In modern language, “pen” is the official name for a female swan. And her last name is Featherington. Something that starts as a duck and becomes a swan… that sounds a lot like the HC Andersen short story The Ugly Duckling, which is about a duck who is cast aside by society for being ugly, only to later learn that the reason it looked different was because it was actually a swan. While Colin and Pen are more likely to quote Byron than Danish fairy tales, the allusions to The Ugly Duckling are quite strong throughout Penelope’s character arc. (And indeed, fantasy plays a huge role in their worldviews.) This is directly referenced in the book: “I thought you believed in me," she said, "that you saw beyond the ugly duckling.”For a brief refresher on The Ugly Duckling, let’s take Wikipedia’s summary and annotate it: After a mother duck's eggs hatch, one of the ducklings takes longer to hatch and is bigger and perceived by the other animals as an ugly little creature. It suffers much verbal and physical abuse from its mother and siblings, and has an absent father.Penelope is the youngest of three children. From the first episode, it is clear that her mother regards her as less desirable and less beautiful than her sisters. Her father is neglectful and largely absent. She is repeatedly subject to unkind comments and treatment by her mother and sisters. To take just one example, when suitors come over to meet Marina, and her mother closes courting hour, she says “Please feel free to bid farewell to Phillipa or Prudence, or even Penelope.” (Colin is the only one to take her up on this.) Portia also insists that Penelope wear bright yellow dresses even though she herself prefers pink. Yellow is the color of baby ducks. Portia tends towards green, often in iridescent fabrics, which roughly maps to the coloring of several types of adult ducks (even females). (In the Ugly Duckling, the ugly duckling is gray rather than yellow like it’s siblings. However, they’ve taken a bit of artistic license here to reinforce the duck imagery.) It wanders from the barnyard and lives with wild ducks and geese until hunters slaughter the flocks. It finds a home with an old woman, but her cat and hen tease and taunt him mercilessly, and once again he sets off alone.We don’t have a direct literal correlation to the cats and hens, but we can interpret “leaving the barnyard” as Penelope being too early presented in society, and the “cats and hens” being the multitude of catty comments and “clucking hens” (judgmental, gossipy mothers) of society. It’s also interesting how Cousin Jack is presented quite clearly as a hunter in Season 2, and the gun rack on the wall clearly makes Portia uncomfortable. There aren’t direct references to duck hunting, yet that was a common hobby. (We admittedly don’t know anything about rifles and can’t figure out if any of them he displays on the wall are specifically for duck hunting, but would love it if someone knew!) Cousin Jack, of course, nearly destroys their family. The duckling sees a flock of migrating wild swans. It is delighted and excited but cannot join them because he is too young, ugly, and unable to fly. When winter arrives, a farmer finds and carries the freezing duckling home but he is frightened by the farmer's noisy children and flees the house. The duckling spends a miserable winter alone outdoors, mostly hiding in a cave on the lake that partly freezes over.We can read this as being when Pen watches Colin leave for Greece, and when she looks at the happy Bridgerton household. She is also too young and immature to fervently declare her feelings as she states one should. Nicola plays her as immature (the little hop when she speaks, high voice), and she is trapped in her mother’s house. The allusion of the migrating swans is also interesting as one could see all of the Bridgertons as swans who glide gracefully on the surface of society (“pretty Bridgertons”). While not all of the Bridgertons exhibit swan-like behavior, Violet and Edmund do (but more on that below). Note how in 3x02 Penelope says the place she feels the most comfortable is/was the Bridgerton Drawing Room at Sunday tea -- surrounded by the flock of swans. We could be a bit literal with our interpretation here and say that Colin’s protection of Pen with the Ruby scam is equivalent to the farmer’s care, and then is scared off not by children but his own friends. But I think we can look at it more broadly to say that Penelope goes from thinking she will be cared for — as Colin says during their dance in 2x08 — but then feels cast aside. She then spends a miserable summer alone, without Eloise or Colin. We know she was miserable by how she is dressed and carries herself in the beginning of 301: hunched over and back in an old gown with her protective helmet of curls. The duckling, now having fully grown and matured, cannot endure a life of solitude and hardship anymore. It decides to throw himself at a flock of swans, feeling that it is better to be killed by such beautiful birds than to live a life of ugliness.When we first meet her in 3x01, it is clear she has had an awful, lonely summer. She then proceeds to bungle her conversation with the lords who approach her. In other words, she still sees herself as an ugly duckling -- or perhaps ugly duck since she's grown. The flock takes to the air, and it spreads its wings to take flight with the rest of its new family.Penelope is shocked when Colin has feelings for her, and according to the trailer, is welcomed with open arms by Violet and the rest of the swan’s family (except Eloise, who does not exhibit swan-like behaviors herself, but that's a different topic). Given the focus on mirrors so far this season, perhaps this combined mirrougly duckling/swan theme will reappear. Penelope will then integrate herself into the Bridgerton family and identify more with them, rather than her family of birth. She thus gets both self-acceptance, a husband, a loving family, and freedom all at the same time. Given the use of mirrors this season, I expect Colin will literally and figuratively help Penelope see herself in the mirror the way he sees her, in a parallel to what Colin says in S2 E2 about her letters: Your letters were so encouraging. I thought, if Penelope can see me this way, then surely I can too.A brief note on Penelope's clothing We can see hints of this in her clothing. Over Season 3 Part 1, Penelope’s clothing changes from Featherington green to Bridgerton blue. Yet in the kiss scene and Colin’s dream, she’s wearing dresses that are such light blue/green that they almost appear to be white, and she doesn't seem to wear these dresses in other scenes. (The dream one is similar to the market scene, but the sleeve detailing is different -- it's much more feathery. Hmmm.) While white dresses can imply wedding, perhaps another thread to pull here is their swan-like whiteness. The moment when they kiss is the first time it occurs to him to see her romantically, and it is also the first time he sees her in a white dress. That she is in white in his dream reinforces the idea that he sees her a swan. The first time we ever see Colin talk to Penelope is in S1 E1 after Colin visits the Featherington house during courting hour for Marina, he refers to her as Pen. He refers to her again as Pen when they dance later in that episode. The viewer sees her transition from Penelope, a duck, and then becomes Pen, a swan. But Colin has always seen her as a swan, even if he didn’t realize it. (We have not done a full analysis of the times he calls her Penelope vs the times he calls her Pen, nor of other people using her nickname.) Audio and visual swan referencesSo, Colin is always a swan, and Pen transitions from duck to swan. Several times throughout the seasons, we see direct and indirect nods to swans in terms of imagery, dialogue, and other scene elements when Colin and Pen are together.It’s notable that, as far as we can tell, swans and swan noises largely only show up when Colin and Pen are together. (There is one exception, discussed in the next section.) The most obvious is in 2x05: COLIN: After all, everyone else is finding some purpose to their lives. Anthony is to be married. Benedict has his artistic pursuits. And, well, here I am... feeding the ducks. Interestingly, quacking is heard in the background. It’s hard to say whether it’s ducks or swans — perhaps it’s intentionally ambiguous. Singing swans = courting activities? Or a shift in feelings for Colin? But let’s pull that thread a bit, as swans singing comes up several more times. Swan songs have historically had an association with death, yet “their sounds are more distinguishable during courting rituals and not correlated with death.” We could then interpret hearing swan songs as times that are courting-esque, or perhaps moments when Colin’s perspective on Penelope is starting to shift. In 2x06, Penelope has a heated conversation with Eloise about Eloise’s feelings about Theo. Eloise asks her if she’s ever felt the torment of feelings for someone, and Penelope says she could only imagine it. She then looks over at Colin and swans are heard in the background. A few moments later, when Penelope walks over to Colin for the “purpose” conversation, swans are again heard in the background. (Listen very closely as she walks over to him.) In 3x01, when Colin and Penelope talk in the garden after the presentation, swans are heard in the background as Colin looks at her while she looks away. In this scene, Colin is wearing his beautiful embroidered vest, which features a duck near the collar. It also features a parrot. (Shout out to u/EverEarthling for this amazing deep dive on the vest!) Perhaps when Colin bought this vest in Paris, he still viewed Penelope as a duck, and himself as a parrot (i.e. one who parrots the behaviors of what society expects). There is a giant wicker statue of a swan, decked in lilacs and light pink roses, off to the side of the balloon. (Lilacs being the favorite flower of the Bridgertons and light pink being the Bridgerton color of first love.) In 2x03, Colin mentions how he once spent meditating for hours on a single blade of grass, and in 3x03, when trying to impress Debling and looking directly at a swan, Penelope says how she likes grass. (Perhaps we can also interpret this to mean that Eloise is not a swan: she says she’d rather watch grass grow than talk to other debutantes. But, again, that’s for another post on Eloise being different than her siblings.) Interestingly, at these swan social gatherings, “some individuals will have several courtships with other members of the flock, whilst others, tend to stay away from densely populated parts of the herd and do their own thing.” Sounds like Colin and Pen! They will stare at each other during the up and down motions of the necks and will sometimes raise both heads together at the same time to look at each other with sideways glances as they turn their heads from side to side.Now, let's pivot back to Bridgerton -- and to another couple. In 2x05, Anthony and Kate’s pivotal dance when they can no longer ignore their feelings for one another resembles the courting dance of swans, with their arms interconnected and circling around another. While one could say that’s true of most dancing, this one is particularly striking, and perhaps it's when Anthony drops his rakishness or ability to think about others and starts to accept his committed, swan nature (though it takes him some time). You can also see echoes of the swan mating dance in how they pass one another side-by-side in Simon & Daphne's dance when they're truly in love, though the Kate/Anthony dance is much clearer. After the Sumeru arc ended, a lot of people (myself included) began to believe that the scene of Dottore burning Irminsul that was shown in A Winter Night's Lazzo was just metaphorical and represented the Tsaritsa's plans and/or the threat against Sumeru as a whole.
However, in March this year, Xiao Luohao (the chief editor for Genshin Impact) gave a talk at Fudan University and during this talk said that that wasn't a plot hole, but rather related to future content that had not yet come to pass. With this new information, we have to ask ourselves, why would Dottore or the Fatui wish to burn Irminsul?
I think that 4.7 gives us a couple hints.

Yet the Abyss, too, wishes to get their hands on a way to control fate. This has been revealed by the "Loom of Fate" operation. The idea of the Loom of Fate was first introduced in "We Will be Reunited", and it was described as a "fate-weaving machine".

But it is the lore drop in 4.7's AQ that really helps bring this all together.

That being said, it immediately struck me as odd that this so-called "fate-weaving machine" uses Ley Line manipulation as its primary function. As we know, Ley Lines are basically the roots of Irminsul, and they feed Irminsul with vast amounts of information and energy.
Yet Irminsul is supposed to record what has already happened. How could it change fate? Didn't Inversion of Genesis demonstrate that even changes to Irminsul's records were unable to change fate? After all, that's what Nicole showed up to tell us in the first place.
In truth, I am unsure. Perhaps there's a bigger connection between the sky (and thus the constellations and fate) and the Ley Lines (and thus Irminsul) that we don't yet fully understand. There are a few things that would suggest this, but it's a bit shaky.

I actually started going down a rabbit hole with this theory before 4.7 because of this and the above, but didn't feel confident enough to form a real theory until I did the new AQ.

So, all other theories aside, we can safely assume that burning down Irminsul and the resulting destruction aligns with the Tsaritsa's goals as a whole. Whatever chaos that would cause in and of itself is hardly her concern, as long as the new world is pure.
But in light of the new information from 4.7, I think we can also theorize that burning Irminsul would interfere with the Abyss's ability to use the Loom of Fate to its full potential for whatever nefarious reasons they may or may not have. The Fatui would be interested in stopping both Celestia and the Abyss from having control, and if that's through fate, and the Ley Lines/Irminsul are one connection to fate and a tool that can be used to control fate, then yeah... They might want to burn it all down.
That being said, I have no idea if they'll actually physically burn it down. If so I hope Nahida is okay... lol. I also want to say that even though this task is associated with Dottore, I doubt that Dottore can or will wing it alone. I imagine this is an immense undertaking. It is also unclear if they CAN burn Irminsul, yet, or if they need the Pyro Gnosis or even all Gnoses to do so. We'll have to see. It's definitely end-game content, though.

Irminsul fruits and the stones that make up constellations (part of what controls fate of mortals) look almost identical. Essentially, there seems to be some connection between the stars and Irminsul that's unclear at the moment.
- The Fatui opposes both the Abyss and Celestia, so burning Irminsul would likely interfere with those two factions' plans or control. The connection between Celestia's current control of fate and Ley Lines/Irminsul is unclear at the moment, but we at least know the Abyss has this Loom of Fate and want to weave new Ley Lines using it. But in light of the new information from 4.7, I think we can also theorize that burning Irminsul would interfere with the Abyss's ability to use the Loom of Fate to its full potential for whatever nefarious reasons they may or may not have. The Fatui would be interested in stopping both Celestia and the Abyss from having control, and if that's through fate, and the Ley Lines/Irminsul are one connection to fate and a tool that can be used to control fate, then yeah... They might want to burn it all down.
That being said, I have no idea if they'll actually physically burn it down. If so I hope Nahida is okay... lol. I also want to say that even though this task is associated with Dottore, I doubt that Dottore can or will wing it alone. I imagine this is an immense undertaking. It is also unclear if they CAN burn Irminsul, yet, or if they need the Pyro Gnosis or even all Gnoses to do so. We'll have to see. It's definitely end-game content, though.

After the Sumeru arc ended, a lot of people (myself included) began to believe that the scene of Dottore burning Irminsul that was shown in A Winter Night's Lazzo was just metaphorical and represented the Tsaritsa's plans and/or the threat against Sumeru as a whole.
However, in March this year, Xiao Luohao (the chief editor for Genshin Impact) gave a talk at Fudan University and during this talk said that that wasn't a plot hole, but rather related to future content that had not yet come to pass. With this new information, we have to ask ourselves, why would Dottore or the Fatui wish to burn Irminsul?
I think that 4.7 gives us a couple hints.
1. It's All About "Fate"
The first thing I want to point out is that this WHOLE GAME is about fate, changing fate, being stuck with fate, etc... We've been getting hints of this from the beginning. This isn't just the Traveler's goal, either. The fact that ALL major factions in the game are currently interested in changing fate seems to indicate that those who control fate control the world.
First, off, it seems that Celestia is the faction that currently controls fate. It's likely that the false sky and the constellations were part of the new "system" that was implemented by the Primordial One upon taking over Teyvat from the dragons.

We also know that only gods or extremely powerful beings seem capable of changing fate or escaping it.

Even then, there's only a slim chance, and as we can see from the events of the 4.2 AQ, not even an Archon can directly defy fate - it is still necessary to use "tricks" to get around it.
However, Pierro (and probably the Tsaritsa) doesn't seem to like that idea. I believe the "grand plan" of the Fatui is written out in the Mocking Mask, part of the Pale Flame set.

Yet the Abyss, too, wishes to get their hands on a way to control fate. This has been revealed by the "Loom of Fate" operation. The idea of the Loom of Fate was first introduced in "We Will be Reunited", and it was described as a "fate-weaving machine".
However, Dain wasn't completely sure what it could do or what it was for.

But it is the lore drop in 4.7's AQ that really helps bring this all together.
2. Fate & Ley Lines & Irminsul
After confronting Caribert, who is in possession of the Loom of Fate, he explains exactly what the Loom of Fate does and how it can be used.Traveler talking to Caribert in 4.7.
This is confirmation that the Loom of Fate can "weave" Ley Lines; while the exact meaning of that is unclear. It also seems as though the Abyss twin also doesn't yet know how to utilize it.

That being said, it immediately struck me as odd that this so-called "fate-weaving machine" uses Ley Line manipulation as its primary function. As we know, Ley Lines are basically the roots of Irminsul, and they feed Irminsul with vast amounts of information and energy.
Yet Irminsul is supposed to record what has already happened. How could it change fate? Didn't Inversion of Genesis demonstrate that even changes to Irminsul's records were unable to change fate? After all, that's what Nicole showed up to tell us in the first place.
In truth, I am unsure. Perhaps there's a bigger connection between the sky (and thus the constellations and fate) and the Ley Lines (and thus Irminsul) that we don't yet fully understand. There are a few things that would suggest this, but it's a bit shaky.

There's also the visual and functional similarities between the "stars" that fell during the 1.1 Unreconciled Stars event and the Irminsul Fruit in the Energy Amplification Initiation event, as some others have pointed out in the past. I actually started going down a rabbit hole with this theory before 4.7 because of this and the above, but didn't feel confident enough to form a real theory until I did the new AQ.

It's also worth noting that both the constellation fragments and the Irminsul fruit fragments were both said to contain extremely highly concentrated elemental energy, and the item we use in the Energy Amplifier Initiation event is called a "Divining Disc".
Then again, these similarities might be purely coincidental. However, the Loom of Fate and Ley Line connection remains.
3. So Why Burn Irminsul?
We know that the Fatui are opposed to both the Abyss and Celestia.Stainless Bloom, Pale Flame set.
The overarching goal is to "burn away the old world". This is told to us multiple times. Winter Night's Lazzo, The Polar Star, and the Shivada Jade Gemstone.

TDLR...
- Celestia currently controls fate and by extension all of Teyvat. The Abyss and the Fatui wish to re-weave fate for their own goals. Fate will be the Traveler's to re-weave at the end of the story.
- The Loom of Fate can weave Ley Lines (note the wording similarity). Ley Lines are the roots of Irminsul. The Abyss twin now has completed the Loom of Fate but can't yet fully utilize it. Irminsul fruits and the stones that make up constellations (part of what controls fate of mortals) look almost identical. Essentially, there seems to be some connection between the stars and Irminsul that's unclear at the moment.
- The Fatui opposes both the Abyss and Celestia, so burning Irminsul would likely interfere with those two factions' plans or control. The connection between Celestia's current control of fate and Ley Lines/Irminsul is unclear at the moment, but we at least know the Abyss has this Loom of Fate and want to weave new Ley Lines using it. This may be part of the reason why Dottore might burn it. It's probably related to the goals of the Fatui as a whole.

Hi. Gonna try and make an effort in expressing my thoughts somewhat clearly as that is not my forte, bear with me please. I've been doing this online chat thing for a bit now, that's my comfort spot to escape life and I've had some great experiences. However there's a few things regarding some of those interactions and more so my expectations of people I've grown to really dislike, and that I would like to tweak. The main thing being seeking some form of emotional attachment with someone - while still keeping some distance as that's the extent of what I'm comfortable (key word) with, and after I've had my fix all of a sudden deciding it's too much, or not enough before exiting the chat. Basically never being satisfied with what I'm getting, even when it comes to be exactly what I'm looking for and kind of masking it under the veil of "always seeking novelty" which is bs. Not counting the chats where there's simply no chemistry, don't think you can create that from nothing but that's just my opinion. Either way I spend more time in my own head than necessary and am awkward af with communication, as apparent by this so that's where you come in. Not saying I'll be using you for my own benefit, only partly as I am looking to practice being more consistent and conscious of/less focused on those insecurities of mine. Insecurities such as not be entertaining enough, not curious enough, not genuine enough etc. Which is one big cliché I know but it genuinely has been an idea I've struggled with recently. Not being present and spontaneous enough to enjoy some good old offensive jokes and dish em out like I used to. Quarter-life crisis maybe Idk.
