Tonight he
-Started talking about how i need to send him bruise picture updates (I have a bruise on my butt right now) in a bent over position when we were sitting right next to a bunch of men, one of which chuckled when he said that. I was the only girl there.
-Told me it was innapropriete for me to try to give him a small kiss in the back of his friends car at the end of the night (but him telling me to send him innapropriete pictures at a loud volume is okay?)
I don’t want to be dramatic and cause problems over nothing, but it felt like all I got tonight was criticism and put downs and not uplifting stuff like compliments which i feel like a relationship should be. I started crying really hard after he said the thing about me not being good at the job Ive been trying to get because all of that listed above was a lot for me. He kept asking me if I wanted to talk about it but I didn’t know what to say. My brother came and picked me up because I just wanted to go home and I could not stop crying.
After getting home I called him way too many times, all declined. I texted him and asked him if he was upset if I left and he said yeah. anyway, i basically sent him a paragraph telling him why I left tn and that I was sorry, and he barely acknowledged it. I blocked him after that. We’ve been together for almost seven years and he does and says little things like this that hurt me a lot. Just last week he ignored me for over an hour when we were hanging out and then was upset when I tried to leave his apartment. I love him but sometimes i feel terrible. I probably make him feel terrible sometimes too. Is it toxic to keep going like this? i already want to unblock him, but i am still very hurt. If he thinks and says these things, what can I do to change them? I love him, but I don’t feel loved. I know relationships aren’t perfect but is this type of put downs normal? Did I overreact? Im sorry for the questions reddit it's 3 am and I am heartbroken :D
I dont know what my goal with blocking him is if I still want to talk to him. it feels like i am trying to call for his attention so he can realize how much he hurt me. I dont know what to do im beside myself.

I need help! the IP Forwarding message keeps showing up despite everything i have tried. Yes I can connect in-game via. my BungeeCord proxy and I can load to backend servers whilest in-game. I am trying to change the message (when players try connect from incorrect port). I have tried using plugins like onlyproxyjoin, ipwhitelist etc etc. Still persists to keep showing the "if you wish to use bungee please setup ip forwarding".
In my BungeeCord config: online_mode is set to true ip_forward is set to true
In my backend Paper configs: server.properties: online-mode is set to false server-ip is blank spigot.yml: bungeecord is set to true config/paper-global.yml: online-mode is set to false (one under bungee-cord)

Hi all, this is my first foray into docker and immich so I know I am in over my head. I have a QNAP NAS that I have successully installed and ran immich with, however when I try to upload photos, I continue to get an error. I have tried multiple photos with the same results. Like I said, I am in over my head, but immich seems to be the solution I have been searching for for quite some time so I would like to get it working. Thank you in advance for your help and patience.

2024.06.09 01:32 Majoraslayer Migrating Nginx From Server To Opnsense Firewall?

I'm running Nginx on my Linux server, and it consists mostly of reverse proxy configs I manually set up between the sites-available and sites-enabled directories. Admittedly, my understanding of the more complex parts of Nginx configuration is pretty thin, but I have a variety of subfolder and subdomain configs using this installation. As it stands, that server is the sole web server on my home network, so the 80 and 443 ports are forwarded in Opnsense to it.
I've noticed that Opnsense offers an Nginx plugin, but after installing it I have no idea what any of the options in the interface mean or how it translates to setting things up with my manual config files. Most Googling I've done seems to focus on using it for load balancing between servers, which I guess is somewhat what I'm hoping to accomplish with it. However, 95% of the services I'm reverse proxying are on one server, and the reason I'd like to migrate it to Opnsense is to maintain remote access to the other 5% that run on my desktop even if my server goes down.
Is there a simple, for-dummies way to copy and paste my Nginx configs into the Opnsense plugin so I can migrate my Nginx to my firewall?

Hello !
So, I have 2 VPS from Oracle cloud,
the thing is :
From my home connection (France 80.x.x.x) to Singapore, the ping is at 315ms
But ! Inter-Region latency from Oracle VPS (France) to Oracle VPS (singapore) the ping is at : 170ms
So what I try to do here, is, I have a OpenVPN server on both VPS, but I want a tunnel between the 2 VPS and use the Oracle Inter-Region low latency to have less ping from my home to Singapore,
I want to connect to France VPS so 150.x.x.x via VPN or proxy, (because from Home to FR VPS I have 4ms ping) then the FR VPS should tunnel all trough Singapore VPS so 230.x.x.x, (Because oracle inter region latency is at 170ms ) so when I'll browse something on the web or play games I'll be able to use a Singapore connection with ~180ms
You can see on the image what I try to do, not the best I know.
I tryed with openVpn (the auto install script from angristan https://github.com/angristan/openvpn-install made a client conf on France VPS and used it on Singapore, and made a client conf on Singapore VPS and used it in France, then another client conf on France VPS to connect from home PC to France VPS, but It didn't connect.. (OpenVpn Client infinit loading..)
I tryed a proxy Chain with socat and Squid, but couldn't manage to setup correctly so it did not work

Question, I just bought a domain with cloudflare for a Pterodactyl server and I'm also trying to use Traefik for the reverse proxy, however the cloudflare website has been showing NXDOMAIN for over 3 days now and now that im looking into it I think I need to provide an IP, but what IP do I use to get my server to connect? I just bought my PowerEdge R720 and I already have all the code set up for both Pterodactyl and Traefik from videos but just cant figure out my domain part. And port forwarding is not an option, Thanks for any help!

Hey, I'm in need of some help
I'm setting up a homelab of sorts, very simplistic, stuff.
Wireguard, OpenSSH, FTPS, Jellyfin for a start. Docker and Portainer I also got running.
There is a lot of stuff I would like to add later, but I want to start by getting the basics right before I run 25 services and non of them are secure.
Everything is running on an Ubuntu Server VM, I tried to follow some rudimentary hardening guides, have UFW turned on, and of course use the highest security settings these apps provide.
However, with some of them I feel more secure than with others. WireGuard and OpenSSH I'm not really sweating about. Jellyfin and especially FTPS are probably a bit less audited, and yet I still want to access them at times without using a VPN.
I experimented with NPM, but not everybody seems to trust it, and it's missing some features: I'd love to also reverse proxy the non-http services (FTP, SSH, Wireguard) via a subdomain rather than a port number. Additionally I would like some sort of interactive firewall, where I get pinged on my smartphone and whitelist an IP for a certain time to allow access.
Is that even possible? If yes, how would you go about it?

Lets start by saying that despite having used proxmox for years, I'm not really good at it. I have a basic setup made from consumer grade hardware. An Athlon X4 860k processor and 16Gigs of ddr3 RAM, no GPU. It has a couple CTs, one with nginx reverse proxy, one with nextcloud, a couple others from time to time.
My big tower computer just gave up the gost. I'm looking at buying a small intel NUC or equivalent to replace it. I was wondering how feasible it would be to use that NUC only as a thin client to connect through RDP or something similar to Windows sessions on my proxmox server. One session for my wife, one for me.
Couple questions about that idea. 1. What would I need to setup virtual sessions like this? Windows server? Is there a not too expensive way to do this when you don't need an enterprise setup? 2. Is my proxmox server even powerful enough to consider this setup? Both sessions would never be running at the same time. If just adding a GPU to make it work is enough that's definitely in my reach. 3. How would one synchronize nextcloud data with those virtual sessions, having it sync all the data seems like useless duplication of data since it would all be stored on the same proxmox server? But I would still like to have that nextcloud data available on the sessions, maybe a network drive? I can't go completely to network drives because I use nextcloud a lot to share my data with friends, access my data from outside my house, on my phone etc. 4. Could the same be done for a linux session because while my wife prefers windows, I prefer linux and would spend most of my time on that NUC on linux given the choice.

Hi! When using the ios plex app i can access my server and watch media without issue. However, when accessing the server via browser no servers are listed. No matter if via localip:32400 or via reverse proxy. Any idea why that could be? I can't use the plex app on my pc (tried, never starts, talked to support, no idea what happens but that is another story).

2024.06.08 15:38 Pulsar187 Cloudflare reverse proxy stopped working after ISP change and or Google domains transfer to squarespace

I had my reverse proxy all set up and working 100% before changing ISP
Got Verizon 5g internet and had to change routers. Updated my port forwarding and all internal IPs within unraid to the new one I assigned to my Unraid server because the Verizon router would not allow me to set it to what I had before. All worked well for a week or so.
Been a couple weeks now trying to trouble shoot this on and off, with no luck at all. If I turn off the cloudflare proxy I can access my site, but can not access it from within mobile apps still. Cloudflare shows the host is active, I can ping the site and it responds, but trying to access my site gets a Cloudflare 522 error
During this time my domain was transferred from Google to Squarespace. I checked the settings in Squarespace and my custom nameservers seemed to have transferred over with it, so I think that is all set but may have something to do with that also.
Any help pointing me to something I may be missing would be greatly appreciated

I’m new to this field.
I’d like to get your opinion on my structure for exposing containers on the internet. My technique works pretty well. I use Caddy as a reverse proxy only, and therefore as a TLS terminator, which is very convenient.
The containers only listen on port 80 via Nginx, and I direct everything to Caddy. I have a functional iptables rule to open port 443 from the Caddy container to the host machine, so I can expose the Caddy container server on the internet.

I have cloned my repo into my vps and pm2 is also running, but when I try to set up SSL it shows
sudo certbot --nginx -d api.domain.org - This is the command I am trying to run.

Requesting a certificate for api.domain.org
Certbot failed to authenticate some domains (authenticator: nginx). The Certificate Authority reported these problems:
Domain: api.domain.org
Type: unauthorized
Detail: 2a02:4780:11:1101:0:2ff5:2808:5: Invalid response from http://api.domain.org/.well-known/acme-challenge/BnEmjqfJC0gs106j2FgNEukRRr3DAYXxehwAur5gO0o: 404

I'm working on a VPS to run as a tailscale exit node. The goal is to anonymize my connexion to tor. Two objectives in that :
  1. Don't show to my ISP that I'm using tor, just a wireguard proxy
  2. I will just have to setup tailscale with my exit node to anonymize the connexion of a new laptop, a vm, etc...
The objective is to don't have anything to setup except tailscale on a VM I've tried many configuration possibilities and read a lots of posts but I didn't find the right one for now... This is my tor config : #/etc/totorrc ExitRelay 1 ExitPolicy accept *:* SocksPort 0.0.0.0:9050 DNSPort 0.0.0.0:9053 AutomapHostsOnResolve 1
I've just add iptable rules like this for now : sudo iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i tailscale0 -p tcp --dport 80 -j REDIRECT --to-ports 9050 sudo iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i tailscale0 -p tcp --dport 443 -j REDIRECT --to-ports 9050 sudo iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i tailscale0 -p udp --dport 53 -j REDIRECT --to-ports 9053 I think the problem is the DNS resolution because with this config I have problems with a simple ping and opening a page. And when it's working, I can't resolve sock5 requests, or onion domains. Maybe the best idea is to setup a sock5 server on the VPS ? Or if anyone have a better idea it could help me a lot !
