Received Class Action Settlement for Costco Car Batteries

2024.04.25 22:22 Martin_Steven Received Class Action Settlement for Costco Car Batteries

Received Class Action Settlement for Costco Car Batteries
As many here are aware, for many years Costco did not properly honor the warranty on their car batteries. You were supposed to get a replacement battery at no cost but instead they refunded the purchase price and then you bought a new battery at the new, higher price.
There was a class action lawsuit against Costco which has now been settled.
I only got $17.10 but I guess that pays for 10 hot dogs at the food court. Oddly, it's a virtual Mastercard which probably means that it can't be used at Costco. But since it's a debit card maybe it will work.
Costco has since worsened their battery warranty and it's now pro-rated with no replacement warranty. WalMart still offers a full, one-time, replacement warranty, with no pro-rating, on their car batteries.

2023.11.16 23:02 IAST8_Guy Sam's Club and Wal-Mart MasterCards work with Google Pay, but not Apple Pay

Just an interesting observation. I was able to add my Sam's Club MasterCard (Synchrony) and Walmart MasterCard (CapitalOne) to Google Pay, but they are still not supported for use with Apple Pay. I realize neither store supports Apple Pay or Google Pay in-store, but both cards are standard MasterCards that can be used elsewhere. Given these cards are issued by two different banks, it would seem that the digital wallet support policy is being be driven by Wal-Mart Corporate. I'm curious why they green-lit Google Pay but continue to block Apple Pay.

2023.08.28 21:11 cropcomb2 WalMart (Uptown) declining cheques as payment towards their WalMart Mastercard statements

What's up with that? Spoke to the manager this morning and he said the store and the credit card outfit are different companies. Heh! He offered to mail my cheque by Registered Mail to WalMart Mastercard (sadly, I no longer trust Canada Post, as they mislaid the delivery proof for 2 of the last 5 registered mail items I sent, very disconcerting).
While I'd expect Walmart's divvied up its roles into many fully owned or controlled affiliates, there's an expectation they'd work in harmony: customers would like to be able to pay their monthly credit card Walmart Mastercard bills at Walmart's stores' customer service counter.
I ended up paying my Walmart Mastercard through my bank later today (normally my payments are auto-paid through my bank, but I'd changed my Mastercard number recently, so did not trust the auto-payment going through smoothly automatically).
(I did not see any sign of backpack nonsense by Walmart this morning. Perhaps they've backed off on not allowing backpack users in the store without putting their backpacks at risk in some pile near the entrance. This was pretty early, around 7:30am or so.)
edit: WalMart Mastercard statements clearly state that mailed cheques for payments are an accepted method of payment. So, why not in store now??

2023.07.18 17:18 Dapper_DonNYC Two Player Setup - Chase Sapphire Guidance

I have been a longtime Chase Sapphire Preferred cardholder, recently sent a referral to my wife to apply for the CSP(she got approved) so I will be the referral points and she will get the SUB. We obviously don’t want to have two of the same CSP’s cards with annual fees so my intention is to do a Product change for my CSP to either a CFU or CFF, when I login to my chase account I am already pre-approved for both CFU and CFF. I am aware that if I do a product change to either one of these I will not be able to get the SUB. Which one (CFU, CFF) should I do a product change from the CSP to…? I am thinking I would then follow-up on the pre-approval for the card (either CFF, CFU) that I didn’t product change to so I can get that card and its SUB.
I just recently found out about the BILT mastercard (got it) and will be using that for our rent. Our other main daily driver (items not charged to CSP because of no bonus points) for years has been the Citi Double Cash card. Recently been thinking that maybe I should product change that to the Citi Custom Cash and use that strictly for something like gas, I would like to use it for groceries but most of our grocery expense is at WalMart (which doesn’t code as gocery store), Aldi and Bjs Warehouse.
Anybody have any thoughts/tips/guidance on the above?

2023.05.27 19:51 TyrannicalDuncery My experiences with various gift card resellers

I'm embarking on a quest to look for good gift card resellers. I'm branching out into the some of the ones that seem shadier to me. I'll let you know how it goes! And let me know if you have suggestions for me.
I'm in the continental US.

Reseller Date Ordered Shipping Type Date Received Card Type Ordered Card Value Ordered Received what I ordered? Notes
GiftCardBin 5/21/2023 USPS free (physical card) 6/10/2023 Meijer $25 Yes Probably took longer to arrive to me than to most people******
CardCash 5/22/2023 USPS free (physical card) 5/26/2023 BP $20 Yes used the card at BP 6/6/2023, no issues
CardCash 1/20/2024 online 1/20/2024 Walmart $10 Yes haven't spent yet, but added to Walmart with no problems
CardCookie 6/1/2023 online 6/2/2023 Target $10 Yes ordered late at night on 6/1/2023
CardCookie 6/17/2023 online 6/17/2023 Target $10 Yes
GiftCardGranny future ********
Fluz 3/7/2023 online 6/12/2022 Amazon $15 Yes *********
Fluz 3/7/2023 online 3/7/2023 Amazon $100 Yes *********
Pepper 1/21/2024 online instant Amazon $5 Yes *********
Cards4Cash 6/2/2023 online didn't work Target $5 didn't work *****
GiftCardSaving future ???
CardBazaar future ???
GiftCash future ??? ***
GameFlip future Wal-Mart *
GiftCardOutlets future ??? **
GiftCardMall future ??? *******
I'm not including Raise in this table because I already trust them.
My first order was from GiftCardBin, which seems atrocious based on TrustPilot, BBB, and the fact that it doesn't seem to appear in some of the more reputable lists of resellers. On the other hand, I've shopped on sites that allegedly suck like that before and things have often turned out fine. I've got my finger on the dispute button at my credit card issuer.

*GameFlip - I don't think it's a scam but it's a pain. You have to add fund into their ecosystem in whole dollar amounts, and pay a transaction fee to do so.
**GiftCardOutlets - This seems like a straight-up scam and it's hard to just dip my toe because everything I've seen on there is $25 or more. I don't want PayPal to hate me. UPDATE 2024/01: I will at least try it with a prepaid card, they will probably reject that though.
***GiftCash - Seems like the site has been down for 23 days as of 6/16/2023, maybe it's just me?
****When I bought my cards from CardCash, my bank texted me to confirm that the purchase wasn't fraudulent. I confirmed and everything worked, I didn't have to redo the payment or anything. I've seen other reports online of this happening to other people.
*****The order didn't work, but I also wasn't charged. I tried it 6 different times on 4 different browsers on 2 different devices on 2 different wireless networks. I didn't get any notification that the order failed, but the item remained in my cart and my card does not appear to have been charged. I tried to pay with a visa gift card, so maybe that broke it somehow. But I'm not ready to risk giving this company a real card number, TrustPilot hates them. UPDATE: Tried again with my real card (WalMart $1.70) in January 2024. Same thing. My card hasn't been stolen yet, as of a few days later. It seems like they might not exist: https://www.reddit.com/couponing/comments/19d7x04/a_bit_of_research_seems_like_cards4cashs/.
******To my surprise, it looks like this is actually going to turn out to be legit. See my comment "GiftCardBin Diary 1." UPDATE 2024: Looks like they don't exist anymore.
*******I don't think this site ever offers discounts, but I include it because FlyerTalk references it as something that has counted as an "online purchase" for the purpose of the targeted offers from the Citi Shop Your Way Mastercard.
********They seem to have some kind of cash back system and claim to work on PayPal (I'm dubious).
*********Fluz and Pepper are both app-based gift card sellers. They make it sound like you have to buy a gift card right when you shop, for the precise amount you are paying. But that's not true. It just creates a normal old gift card like anything else. Some of my Fluz balance is still sitting on my Amazon account 6 months after I bought it.

2022.05.10 16:36 StrikeScribe Using Walmart Pay not always getting 3% cash back/online shopping

What pattern have you noticed the past month or so with getting 3% cash back using Walmart Pay and charging to a Bank of America Customized Cash Rewards card when you've set the cash back to online shopping?
Since April 23, 2022, I've not always gotten 3% cash back for my Walmart Pay purchases charged to my Bank of America Customized Cash Reward cards. I always got the 3% from Jan. 16 up to before April 24. I am still getting 3% back most of the time, but twice on two Visa cards, I've instead gotten 2% cash back on groceries because Walmart codes as a supermarket/grocery store. Which it does not with Chase or Discover. (I'm not sure about Citi). I've always gotten the 3% with my BofA Mastercards.
Here's the data points each time I've paid for a Walmart purchase with Walmart Pay charged to a Bank of America Customized Cash Rewards set to 3% back online shopping since March 1, 2022. I have four BofA Customized Cash Rewards cards.
I suspect the variables are whether it codes as a Walmart Super Store or "WM Super Center" or not. Whether it's a Visa or Mastercard. Whether the purchase is over $35 or not. I don't know if what I've bought are variables. The dates are transaction dates.
I suspect some change in how Visa codes these purchases. All of these purchases were with Walmart Pay on the Walmart Mobile App where you use the app to scan a QR code on the screen. Customized Cash Rewards Visa Signature gets 10% of cash back relationship bonus, which is a grandfathered benefit if you have a Bank of America bank account.
May 7, 2022, A Walmart that's not a Walmart super store. Says Wal-mart #XXXX, $59.69, Customized Cash Rewards Platinum Plus Mastercard, Cash back - $1.79 - 3%, coded as online purchase - Yes, coded as grocery stores/supermarket - Yes. 2022.04.13 03:22 skeptical-0ptimist Bitcoin is about to change the game again, and some folks are missing it.

This is going to be long, so apologies in advance.. after I write it I will attempt a TLDR.

attempted TLDR: Strike news is huge, like really huge. they are using Lightning Network to transfer dollars between two parties at a fee rate that is way cheaper than Visa and MC and when they find a customer base, the BTC super-cycle is here (not predicting this part super soon, few years away). Best part is that it doesn't require hodlers to spend their BTC.. or merchants to accept a volatile asset as payment.

Pretty much everyone has seen the news about Strike partnering with major payment processors so that WalMart, McDonalds, Lowe's, Home Depot, and many other major retailers will be able accept payments over the lightning network. This (in and of itself) would not be that big... as we all know, there are many reasons that people don't want to spend their BTC, and Merchants don't want to receive BTC. What is huge about the Strike announcement is that NEITHER of these things have to happen.

The existing process through both credit and debit cards works like this... you swipe your card, the merchant forwards a charge request to their merchant processor. The processor reviews and approves of the transaction so they send it to the association (Visa or Mastercard), the association reviews and approves the transaction request and sends it on to the customer's bank. The customer's bank reviews and approves the transaction (confirming things like you have money in your account, the charge doesn't look suspicious, etc.). The transaction message receives it's final approval and gets sent back to the association, that sends it back to the merchant bank, that sends it back to the merchant and you walk out the door with your stuff. Every party along this path takes a cut of the transaction, on average, about 3% of the transaction amount was used to pay for the payment infrastructure. After the approval is received, the merchant will not have the money in their hands for a few days (timeframes on this can vary quite a bit) and for up to 60 or so days the charge may be called back if the customer either reports that they didn't make the charge (fraud) or that the services / goods were not as promised (chargebacks / disputes).

What Strike is doing is this... when you select to send a payment of $100 using this method, you buy BTC that is already on the LN from Strike sends the BTC you just acquired through a lightening channel to the endpoint (it takes about a second) where the BTC is immediately sold by the receiving merchant (or person) for cash. That's it. No banks to pay, no Associations to pay. and more importantly... Strike is ALREADY doing this at a fee rate of 0.2% for peer to peer transfers, up till now they have been focused on remittances to El Salvador. let that sink in.. right now, Strike is transferring U.S. Dollar amounts from from U.S. person to El Salvador person at a cheaper rate than you using visa at your grocery store. Companies like Square, CashApp, Venmo, and others will immediately be able to build the same system that Strike is creating, there is nothing proprietary in it.. if just requires the processor to be able to acquire and sell BTC at a low rate and fund lightening channels.

Now... what does this mean for price. First off... let me be clear, I don't see any way this driving an immediate price pump, but what this does do is this... since the buyers and sellers utilizing this system will be completely price insensitive (to them, it doesn't matter "how much BTC is $10 worth at the time of sale" it only matters how much you can expect the price to change during the 1 second it is transiting the lightening network. say... $10B in daily retail purchasing volume moves to this new cheaper settlement layer, that means... every day there is a guarantee of $10B dollars of buys and sells AT ANY PRICE. if adoption grows beyond that (say merchants offering a discount using this payment method since it is cheaper for them and has faster settlement with fewer risks) then there become very large pools of USD guaranteed to enter and exit BTC positions every day, making BTC the capital that underlies and guarantees the value transfers of all retail using this payment method.

some additional points.
1.)many people believe "they are getting 3% back" with their credit card. they are not.. you are not getting paid to use your card, you are getting back some of the fees collected by banks supporting the card. That being said.. people believe they are getting paid to use their card, and convincing them to switch will be the hardest part.

2.)Most card purchasing in the US is on debit cards not credit cards. AFAIK... nobody gets money back on debit cards, most people have to pay checking account fees to have a debit card.

3.)To those who think a 3% fee isn't alot, it's important to think about it this way... merchants profit margins on goods are usually numbers like 6%, that means they make $6 out of a $100 sale... turning that $6 profit to $9 by losing the 3% fee is a 50% increase to their net profit - that is how merchants are going to think about this.

4.)This payment process is so much better for merchants, they are likely to incentive customers to use it by offering discounts or something. "being certain" that the payment is done after it is over (no chargeback risks) and not having to wait days to weeks to get the money means they may just pass the whole 3% in savings for people using this method.

2022.04.12 06:00 skeptical-0ptimist What Mallers did

So... I know this forum is dedicated to traders, and this is a little off topic (if too off topic, you can delete me with no hard feelings) but I wanted a traders perspective on this hypothesis.
If you guys don't know, Jack Mallers (ceo of strike app) announced at btc conference a partnership with some important payment processors that are integrated with major retailers (WalMart, Lowes, Home Depot, etc.).
This partnership leverages the BTV lighting network (LN) to send dollars to the merchant. Customer converts dollars to BTC, LN send to merchant, convert back to dollars. This bypasses any banks and visa / mastercard. A few clear benefits to merchant are... instant settlement, no chargebacks, 0.2% processing fee vs visa / mastercard fees of 3% or so (strike is offering 0.1% spread when consumer buys, and same when merchant converts back to fiat) . Customer incentive to use is a little less clear, but benefits to merchant are high enough that I think we could see merchants offer a discount for this payment method. For the purposes of this hypothesis, let's say merchants and consumers are attracted enough to use this method of payment.
What this would do is create a huge amount of liquidity on both the buy and sell side (btc is only being used to transfer value for about a second then resold)... LN channels can only transfer the amount of value they're loaded with. So if you want to send $1,000 to someone, the channel has to hold $1,000 worth of BTC...if retail traffic is x dollars and amount in channels is y btc, then exchange rate at that point is x -> y.
Hypothesis is this... if you have large amounts of liquidity on both sides (supporting x% of retail traffic in U.S.) then price stabilizes. Price stabilization means that both merchants and consumers start to think... I could save money (the relatively marginal 0.1%) by just holding BTC rather than holding $ ND converting when I purchase.
At that point... it's actually less steps to just save and spend BTC... merchants see a solid trend line in value with relative stability... keep 10% unconverted, then 50%, then... all of it.
From a traders perspective... is this hypothesis completely crazy? The incentives seem right to me (some hurdles on the initial Customer adoption side, but enough value on the merchant side to incentive customer adoption through discounts etc.).
Thanks for any insight you have:) and keep up the great work in this sub... I don't always comment, but always value your insight.

2022.02.07 00:34 3monthsanassociate External gift cards(for the attention of cashiers).

Visa,Mastercard and Amex gift cards give me some what of a head ache!
I've mastered Wal Mart gift cards, but external gift cards frustrate me a bit though.
My understanding of the external gift cards process is, the customer needs to know the exact amount, then they swipe it and whatever amount left on there that they wish to spend after swiping it, therefore prompting the appearance of a screen asking for the amount, you enter the amount and hit enter? and that will deduct from the original total.

A customer gave me an Amex one today and the woman ended up screeching at me, my co-workers and even my supervisor.

Stressed me the fuck out to the point I needed to take a few minutes for myself, by the way I have high anxiety something for which I medicate for.

2022.01.26 00:33 Thornberry30 Wal-Mart Rewards mastercard advice

Hi, I'm a new CSM and my manager is really pushing us to reach our goal on Mastercard. Does anyone have any advice on how we can improve our store? We try to average 4 or 5 but we always fall short.

2021.11.02 06:49 TheCronster Big Tech, Digital Passports and the upcoming embarrassment.

Back in May, 2021 I visited Orlando, FL. No one was wearing masks. Everyone was visiting shops. A friend of mine wanted to meet at DelTaco. She told me DelTaco was something I had to experience. So we went to DelTaco.
The first thing I noticed was that there was a massive bar and grill right next to DelTaco. The place was out of control, tons of people waiting to get a table and a small army of drunken paty-goers on the roof. They even had $20 helicopter rides on an adjacent platform with MULTIPLE helicopters landing to let people off and take people on about once every five minutes. It looked extremely interesting (thats orlando for ya) but I couldn't marvel at them for too long, as I said, my friend wanted to go to DelTaco.
DelTaco is a fast food restaurant based out of California so as you can imagine when I walked in to DelTaco I wasn't surprised to see everyone wearing masks. The place had a prison atmosphere. There were about five patrons, all with masks and all eating alone. A host of kids behind the counter, all with masks and all staring at me angrily. My friend assured me that I was going to love the Tacos but first she warned me that I was going to have to put a mask on or else they would not sell me any. I stepped up to the counter, put a mask on and ordered a taco. It was okay. It tasted like a taco. While we ate we watched the people across the street having the time of their lives.
We went to the mall, no masks. We went from shop to shop and even hung out with some of the shop owners. One of them sold wine and we had a big wine tasting party right there in his shop (the guy was brilliant, get people drunk and you can sell them anything). Then we crossed through the part of the mall which had "The Apple Store" and we saw something so amazingly out of place that it made us stare. Apple employees (teenagers really) wearing masks and managing a que of customers (making damn sure they were at least six feet apart, wearing their mask uniform) and letting them into the store one at a time so that they could be certain they did not have too many people in the store at any one time. This que was massive, and by massive I mean the line markers took up a huge amount of space outside the store. As for people waiting to get in, they only had about five or six on line. Yet the amount of rope barriers they had up made a gigantic maze that occupied the center of the mall. Most people were content to walk around this huge display of paranoia but my friend and I, maskless, walked straight through it. These kids held the line as we passed in between the store and the que. They didn't even look at us. Not the employees, not the people waiting on line, no one. They pretended like we didn't exist. It was easier to pretend we weren't real than admit to themselves that they lived in a city which did not take the pandemic seriously. A rational person would stop and consider the evidence right in front of their eyes.
Yet, they can't. We need to remember that all of these people (regardless of what we call them, vaxxers, covidians, lockdownatarians, etc) they can only keep the fantasy alive for so long. Religion can not abide division for this very reason. A faithful member of the church can not look over the border of their areas of control and see the inverse of their reality for very long before it infects them. This religion of authoritarianism can only take so much abuse before it shows signs of crumbling because the issue is contention. Even though they pretend to 'Follow the science' and 'Hate the unvaxxed' the logic they fight is not lost on them. They hear you when you speak, even though they pretend not to. They see you when you walk through the apple store 'forbidden zone' even though that should not be possible. They see those crowds of people across the street at the bar enjoying themselves even though they wish it was not true. Meanwhile they are balancing the cost and benefits of their faith and choose to continue with this religion so long as it does not betray them. But if history has taught us anything, it most assuredly will.
The first time some one accuses them of missing a booster. The first time some one demands they buy a second mask to 'double up'. The first time some one charges them a COVID fee or restricts their activities- regardless of if they comply with those demands... They are going to think to themselves "I wouldn't have to deal with this if I was one of those free people". It will be a harmless thought at first. Just a stray observation. But it will come back over and over and over again until they crack. It will ring inside their minds until they find themselves screaming at their demagogues "You owe me because I stood by you! I COULD have chosen freedom!" And that is when the illusion breaks. That is when they throw the masks on the ground like a discarded uniform accessory and cross the street. Never to speak of it again. As if it never happened in the first place.
So with that said, allow me to make a few predictions regarding the direction this is going. Where as I am sure you have heard about the mandates and digital passports they are trying to roll out, you may not be aware that things similar to this have occurred in the past and they never end the way one might assume. I am, of course, just a guy on the internet so don't take anything I say as gospel but I do expect a round of applause if I turn out to be at least 70% accurate in the coming months.
I am thinking may/june of next year. We will definitely see some tension forming in January, February but it won't get serious until May. After that, it's anyone game.

Reasonable Substantial Evidence of Racketeering and Collusion perpetrated by
Justin Trudeau, Chrystia Freeland, Jagmeet Singh, and other members of the Federal and Provincial Governments. Presented By Cris Vleck
email: cvleck@protonmail.com
Contents Synopsis – Page 1 Part 1- The Vanguard Group – Page 2 Part 2 – The World Economic Forum – Page 4 Part 3 – The Vanguard Group and Government connections – Page 6 Part 4 – Is Justin Trudeau a Vanguard Group OwneClient? - Page 7 Final Statements – Page 10 Post Document Supplemental – Page 11
Synopsis In this document I believe I will present evidence beyond a reasonable doubt that Justin Trudeau, with the help
of cohorts within both the Federal and Provincial Governments, has perpetrated intentional fraud against the citizens of Canada in the form of collusion and racketeering. I believe this document's evidence will not only back up the claim in this synopsis but will bring to light and make sense of the confusing decisions made by our governments 'in the name of science'.
PART 1 – THE VANGUARD GROUP
In case you are not aware of The Vanguard Group, the main thing you need to know is that they own EVERYHING. They own major or controlling shares in most of the corporations and banks in the entire world. It is reasonable to say that The Vanguard Group owns 10- 15% of nearly every sale made on the planet. You can evidence this by going to 'Yahoo Finance' and typing in 'Apple' for example. Then click on 'holders'. This will bring up the top Shareholders for that company.
At first glance you will see that The Vanguard Group owns 7.65% of Apple. However, if you look below this list then you will see top mutual fund holders. The mutual fund list is also dominated by The Vanguard Group. At second glance you'll find that The Vanguard Group owns 14.11%. This is where it gets a bit tricky and unfortunately, forensic accounting is beyond my skill set. If you dig a little deeper then you will find that The Vanguard Group also owns portions of the other holders on the above list. Without getting in too deep you can safely add another 2%. This brings the total to just over 16% of apple stock and that makes The Vanguard Group the largest controller of Apple. Do this with any company or bank and the result is almost always the same.
Following this trail you will find that nearly everything on the planet is partly or mostly owned by The Vanguard Group.
Part 1(b) – So, who owns The Vanguard Group?
That's a great question. The Vanguard Group has created a unique situation. All of their clients are sold partial ownership in the company. This means that, even though The Vanguard Group is a public company, their shareholders are protected by client confidentiality. They boast roughly 25 million clients (under 1 million dollars) and approx. 60,000 'flagship' ($1-5 million) and 'flagship select' (over $5 million) clients' worldwide. I do do not know the specific breakdowns of flagship clients. https://www.inquirer.com/philly/blogs/inq- phillydeals/Vanguard-plans-new-offices-for-upscale-clients.html
Part 1 (c) – Isn't Blackrock Number 1?
Most people think BlackRock is the largest investment firm in the world. There is a convoluted and incestuous relationship between the top investment and mutual fund companies so it gets confusing. I am convinced this is intentional. I believe that The Vanguard Group is the top company for two reasons.

PART 2 – THE WORLD ECONOMIC FORUM
I believe I cannot connect the bridge between The Vanguard Group and Global governments/ individuals without discussing the World Economic Forum. Just as The Vanguard Group is underestimated, I believe that the World Economic Forum is OVERestimated. Most people believe the WEF is pulling the strings. If you see the WEF not as the shot callers but as nothing more than a marketing/propaganda department for The Vanguard Group then more pieces of the puzzle fall into place. The WEF partners list now reads more like a Vanguard Group holdings statement. From here on in we will begin to focus more on Canadian operatives.
Part 2(b) – YOUNG GLOBAL LEADERS
The World Economic Forum has two parts. The WEF main site https://www.weforum.org/partners that has extensive documentation on philosophies, mission agendas, and as mentioned, partners. This is where you can see the global corporate players and agendas. Here are some familiar examples.
The second part to the WEF is the 'Forum of the Young Global Leaders' https://www.younggloballeaders.org/ At this website you can focus in on specific people. Here are the Canadian Government representatives that can be found on this website.
The Forum of Young Global Leaders self describes as being aligned with the WEF missions. https://www.younggloballeaders.org/vision-and-mission
KEY POINTS: It is important to note that Chrystia Freeland is a member of YGL and also serves on the Board of Trustees for the WEF. https://www.weforum.org/about/leadership-and-governance.
PART 2 CONCLUSION: As mentioned, the WEF partners list reads like a Vanguard Group holding statement. This means the greatest control and direction for the World Economic Forum is coming from The Vanguard Group. If the Forum of Young Global Leaders is aligned with the WEF mission and by extension the The Vanguard Group mission -then it is reasonable to conclude that the YGL community are also aligned with The Vanguard Group's mission. This means that Canadian politicians are aligned with The Vanguard Group.
PART 3 – THE VANGUARD GROUP AND GOVERNMENT CONNECTIONS
Here's where we begin to put it all together. Here is another area that is not my expertise. I am sure more qualified people can make better sense of the Federal and Provincial Lobbyist lists. A quick preliminary check shows that The Vanguard Group is an active federal lobbyist.
The provinces get a little more tricky, but the lobbying (or lack of) begins to tell it's own picture in regards to individual provincial responses. Again, someone with more expertise here will have to do the forensics. They will also want to watch for the Canadian Coalition for Good Governance https://ccgg.ca/.
Here you will not find The Vanguard Group but Blackrock and other The Vanguard Group holdings make an appearance. Here is a search result from the BC Lobbyist database.
PART 3 CONCLUSION: This does not prove a link between The Vanguard Group and and government collusion in itself but it does prove a circular relationship between The Vanguard Group and both federal and Provincial government bodies. If the goal of transparency is to ensure that there is not even an 'appearance' of conflict of interest I believe there is more than enough up to Part 3 of this document to warrant closer government scrutiny in the form of an investigation.
PART 4 – IS JUSTIN TRUDEAU A VANGUARD GROUP CLIENT / OWNER?
Is Justin Trudeau a Vanguard Group client / owner? There's no way to know for sure unless we gain access to either JT's financial records or the The Vanguard Group owneclient list. However, we can make reasonable conclusions based on what we do know.
Conclusions

  1. The government's refusal to look at opposing science and response with lockdowns, restrictions and increasingly aggressive vaccination agenda seem to only benefit one entity - The Vanguard Group.
  2. The Vanguard Group has an ongoing relationship with both federal and provincial governments.
  3. Canada's deputy prime minister is on the board of trustees so must clearly know the reach of The
Vanguard Group. 4. The deputy prime minister reports to the Prime Minister so he must clearly know the reach of The
Vanguard Group.
This last conclusion can be refuted by the PM's office so that brings me to my last two points which also brings the last two pieces of the puzzle into place.
Part 4 (b) – Government Handouts
In order to prove that Justin Trudeau, in his capacity as Prime Minister is colluding with The Vanguard Group we need only look as far as the money he has inexplicably given out as well as the many scandals he has been involved in. There are many examples but I will keep it to 4.

**2021*\*
PART 4 CONCLUSION: We can see that Justin's personal gain has increased by $8.5 million. His salary as PM is $357,800. If he has spent no money in the past six years his new worth should be $3,646,800. Leaving us to ask the question, “Where did the other $4.8 million come from?”.
FINAL ARGUMENTS
I am alleging racketeering and collusion has occurred in the following ways;

  1. Supporting, through federal medical direction via Dr. Tam and threatening a federal State of Emergency, the provincial State of Emergencies, lockdowns and arbitrary restrictions. These lockdowns - reinforced by aggressive policing, threats of imprisonment and financial penalties – have been proven in this document to more generally benefit The Vanguard Group's 'flagship clients' than local businesses.
  2. By telling the Canadian People in early 2020 that the 'only way to end' this pandemic is when we get a vaccine. It is important to note that, to this point in the last 20 years, a successful corona virus vaccine had not been achievable. There also was, to this point, no guarantee that a COVID-19 vaccine could be created. Leaving us to conclude that Justin Trudeau knew BEFORE this point in time that a vaccine had been created. Thereby setting the stage for only one choice for consumers. A choice that only benefits The Vanguard Group's 'flagship clients'.
  3. By ordering and securing millions of doses of vaccines before knowing if Canada could even approve the Moderna, Pfizer, and Astra Zeneca vaccines, Justin Trudeau confirmed that the federal government's plan was to approve the vaccines regardless of the health risks they may pose. This decision only benefits The Vanguard Group's 'flagship clients'.
  4. By misleading Canadian citizens into taking the vaccines against their will by manipulating information and thereby removing 'informed consent'. This is done by the false reporting from federally bribed media outlets, and false fact checking support by the The Vanguard Group owned outlets of Facebook and Twitter. This increases vaccine sales and thereby benefits The Vanguard Group's 'flagship clients'.
  5. By using increasingly aggressive pressure tactics such as blaming the unvaccinated for lengthening the duration of restrictions. Such as introducing Vaccine Passports and denying civil rights to the 'unvaccinated'. These tactics increase vaccine sales and thereby benefits The Vanguard Group's 'flagship clients'.
  6. Dr. Tam has made several arbitrary decisions not seeming to be based on science. Such as, stating that airplanes are safer than grocery stores. This defies everything she had said to this point. This decision stemmed purely from political and financial motives not on the 'junk science' she tried to sell. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/covid-transmission-flights-extremely-rare-1.5797065 This further discredits Justin Trudeau's 'junk science' of today that the vaccinated cannot sit on a plane next to the unvaccinated. This is intended to increase vaccine sales.
  7. Dr. Bonnie Henry stating in May that she will not force a vaccine passport then making a rushed reverse decision before the federal election indicates further collusion and racketeering on her behalf. This is intended to increase vaccine sales.
  8. Justin Trudeau doubling down on vaccine passports as an election promise by offering 1 billion in public money to provinces for vaxpass development- while hiding the increasing vaccine adverse effects further proves collusion. This is intended to increase vaccine sales.
I believe, in this document, I have more than proven a reasonable case and met, at the least, the minimal threshold for a felony collusion and racketeering investigation into the actions of Justin Trudeau, Jagmeet Singh, and Chrystia Freeland. Plus the subsequent investigations of Dr. Theresa Tam, Dr. Bonnie Henry, Doug Ford as well as the other government agents listed above. I also believe I have proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Justin Trudeau has personally benefitted financially through the sale of “vaccines”.
I also strongly believe that any and all future lawsuits and court cases should include a subpoena of a 5 year financial statement from any politician involved. This will further prove (or disprove) collusion.
FINAL STATEMENT
This isn't a conspiracy it's just corporate synergy. This is nothing more fantastical than old fashioned greed and self serving abuses of power to increase the elite's investment portfolios.

POST DOCUMENT SUPPLEMENTAL
Part 1 – More Young Global Leaders of note Part 2 – Recommended areas for further investigation. Part 3 – How to fight back
PART 1 – MORE YOUNG GLOBAL LEADERS OF NOTE
Here are a some more people of note in the Young Global Leaders community. NOTE- Some of these people were discovered using the internet archive wayback machine. They have since been hidden.
Again, there is no proof of collusion but this discovery makes a few questions arise.

  1. Why was Andrew Scheer so ineffective at fighting against the liberal agenda on their early crucial rise to power?
  2. Why did Andrew Scheer step down over a minor and wholly untrue scandal while not taking any shots (other than political theatre) at the Liberals over SNC?
  3. Is Michelle Rempel Garner really 'for the people' or is it just political theatre?
  4. Do all MRG's political rants ultimately advance The Vanguard Groups agenda? Such as criticizing the Liberal government for not doing more to procure vaccines before they had even been approved. Such as (at the time of writing this document) berating the Liberal government for calling an election during an Afghan humanitarian crisis and saying that this election is costing lives. NOTE- This is what is called a 'political pincer maneuver' taken straight from the 1920's communist manifesto. Get the people to DEMAND it, then the government 'acquiesces 'to comply.
PART 2 – RECOMMENDED AREAS FOR FURTHER INVESTIGATION. I would be very interested to gather information in the following areas;

  1. When Ontario and Manitoba were dividing sections of large stores into essential and non-essential. Would these lists coincide with The Vanguard Group's holdings. Or at the very least, more or less profitable for TVG.
  2. Start trying to 'decipher' which federal and provincial leaders are colluding and which ones have simply been deceived.
  3. Same as above with journalists. PART 3 – HOW TO FIGHT BACK
There are ways to fight and these methods have the possibility of changing things overnight IF (a) a global majority could actually get this information and (b) if they all come together as one. However, historically this has been an impossibility. However, I believe this is our only option as we must stop looking to government bodies to 'save us'.
Strategy 1 – Share the information in this document through videos, social media posts, blogs and podcasts. Strongly encourage individuals in different countries to do research using this document as a template.
Strategy 2 - Make transparent -through apps and website databases- all profit sources for the Vanguard Group from products owned by large companies such as Coca Cola, Unilever and Apple. All controlled media such as Disney, Facebook and Twitter. All banks and investment firms largely owned by the Vanguard Group.
Strategy 3 – Begin a global campaign to educate and discourage giving money to The Vanguard Group through subsidiaries.
Strategy 4 – Accuse any politician, media group, journalist, corporation of collusion if they try to dissuade or prevent the previous three strategies.

2021.08.25 13:39 soonersoldier33 Advice for going on a small CC/Auto Loan 'Spree'

CREDIT PROFILE

MEMBERSHIPS
PURPOSE
Hello, everyone. I've recently completed a rebuild after a personally disastrous 2019 financially, and have recently started to receive pre-approved offers from multiple sources for multiple cards. My FICO scores are fair to good, and aren't likely to improve much short term until my recently paid negatives begin to age. I'm looking for advice from you beautiful people who go on credit 'sprees', as I think I want to do a small version of one myself, and then sit tight for at least the next 12 months. I have a Cap One Savor for 3% dining, streaming, cell phone, and the Cap One Wal-Mart store card for WM purchases and gas. I have pre-approval offers for and would like to get both the Discover it for the 5% rotating categories and first year cash back match AND the Ollo Optimum Mastercard (no annual fee and 2.5% unlimited cash back) for uncategorized spending. However, I will also be applying for an auto loan in October. I'm trying to figure out when is best to apply for all 3, as my fragile FICOs taking even a small hit may influence approval/rates for any or all of the 3 products I want. Do I apply for the 2 credit cards first, and take the small hard inquiry hits prior to applying for the auto loan, or do I apply for the auto loan first, and risk the barrage of hard inquiries affecting my chances of getting the 2 credit cards. Would love to hear advice from people who apply for multiple products in a short time frame, and your strategies for best approval odds. Thanks in advance for any ideas/strategies!
P.S. I've learned my lesson on horrible credit practices after destroying myself in 2019, and have repaired my credit the best I can short term. I'm not looking for new lines of credit to go crazy with, stupidly carry balances, etc. Just trying to fill out my limited profile with a couple of cards to cover spending categories, get an auto loan, and then go into the garden for at least a year. Rebuild advice/scolding is not necessary. Thanks!
