2024.05.15 18:59 ForestKi CSGO2 All Types of Peeks

All the peaks you should know in CSGO2 in 24k if you want to get good:
  1. Shoulder Peek: Briefly exposing only your shoulder to bait out enemy shots, gather information and to counter AWPs. (Usually before Xantares or Ferrari)
  2. Crouch Peek: Lowering your stance while peeking to present a smaller target to opponents (only high elo).
  3. Wide Peek: Going as far back behind the angle you want to peek to minimize exposure.
  4. Wide Swing: Swinging out wide, to make opponents holding an angle miss.
  5. Wide Crouch Peek: Crouching while peeking from as far away from the wall to minimize exposure.
  6. Slingshot Peek: Shifting to the destination of peek and then swiftly peeking out and back into cover to quickly take a shot while minimizing exposure.
  7. Shift Walk Peek: A/D + Shift.
  8. Silent Peek: Peaking using Shift for instance when you are flanking.
  9. Crabwalk Peek: Peeking while moving sideways and crouching periodically.
  10. Jiggle Peek: Quickly and repeatedly moving in and out of cover to gather information or bait out enemy shots.
  11. Michael Jackson Peek: A flashy peek involving swift movement in and out of cover, akin to the iconic dance move.
  12. Michael Phelps Peek: Ctrl and space in the water on Anubis allows rapid peek on river.
  13. Ferrari Peek: Close to the wall and fast peek.
  14. Xantares Peek: Close to the wall, wide swinging and fast peek.
  15. Jump Peek: Peeking by briefly jumping to gain vision over obstacles while minimizing exposure to enemy fire.
  16. Frog Jump Peek: Peeking by briefly jumping to gain vision over obstacles using bind whilst carrying bomb to make yourself invisible (planting anim).
  17. Flash Peek: Before Peek throwing a flash.
  18. Molly Peek: Running into molly to peek.
  19. Smoke Peek: Shift walking through the smoke to catch opps off-guard.
  20. Drop Peek: Drop pistol to make your enemies flinch and then peek.
  21. Fall Peek: Jumping off an edge and peeking an opp attempting to headshot them in mid-air.
  22. Helicopter Scout peek: Looking at ground and emptying the whole mag in one click whilst peeking, insta-dooming anyone in your peripheral vision.
Any suggestions appreciated.

2024.05.14 19:24 m1cha3l57a An Honest Review of the Michael Phelps Chilly Goat Cold Plunge by Master Spa

I’m writing this review in the hopes that someone else doesn’t get ripped off like I have
I purchased the Michael Phelps Chilly Goat Cold Plunge in December and took delivery early January.
Normally I only buy products with great reviews and from vendors with great reputations for customer service and product support.
For some reason I ignored all of this when making this purchase. I couldn’t (and still can’t) find a single review from someone whose actually purchased this product. However, I figured if Michael Phelps and Master Spa were going to put their names on it, then it MUST be a good product. Unfortunately that assumption was very wrong, and here’s my honest review.
Upon receipt of the cold plunge, I unwrapped it and got it placed in my garage. Atheistically, the tub is gorgeous. I was extremely happy with the way it looked.
However, once I started unwrapping the components such as the cover, thermostat, filter cover and the covers around the base of the unit, I got the immediate impression that it was all super cheap, bottom of the barrel components. Everything except the white tub itself is extremely flimsy, and cheap. Definitely not what I was expecting from a $9000 cold plunge.
Regardless, I got everything ready so we could get it running once I had the new 20 amp circuit installed. For some reason, in the setup manual it tells you to make sure to wire in a GFCI outlet (even though the plunge whip has a built in GFCI in it already). I had a feeling these two would trip each other out, but I followed the instructions in the manual.
It powered on fine and started working towards getting the water down to the 40 degrees. I then hooked it up to the App (which is a generic app that’s used by many companies selling generic pumps). I tried setting it up to automatically cycle off for most of the day, and cycle on a couple hours before I would be using it.
The next morning I went into the garage to see if it worked.
It didn’t.
The power was off due to the GFCI tripping (just as I thought it would). I reviewed the manual again and it explicitly states that I only use a GFCI, so I powered it back on and tried again. It eventually tripped again, so I contacted support.
This was my first contact with support and the rep “Paul” was helpful. He advised me to try removing the GFCI and replace with a regular outlet. So I did and it worked perfectly. No more tripping the breaker and shutting off.
So now I tried setting the schedule again, and to my delight the cold plunge was at 40 degrees the next morning.
However, what I realized was that it wasn't cycling on or off. It was just staying on the entire time, despite any scheduling I put into the app.
The only way to control the tub (by the way) is by removing the tub skirting and using a small rectangular circuit board that has 4 buttons. Up, down, mode and power. So there’s no way to schedule or do anything with the unit other than turn it off/on, turn the temp up or down, or switch to hot or cold mode. So it looks like scheduling (an advertised feature) wasn’t actually available.
Fast forward a couple months and the cold plunge is working great. It runs 24/7, but it keeps the water right at 40 degrees. I decided I’d like to try the hot side now, so I opened up the app, made sure the mode was on Auto and turned it up to its max.
Now their marketing and manual said that it would be able to get up to temp in a few hours. So I started a timer and watched it. I started it at 5:00 p.m and by 7:30 p.m it went from 40 to 46ish. Definitely not what I was expecting.
So I went to bed, expecting it to be at 104 when I woke up. Fast forward to 8:30 a.m and the tub is only at 73 degrees. At this point I knew for a fact that something was wrong with the unit. So I took a video and added it to my dropbox folder to show support.
I continued to wait and by 11:00 the unit reached 90 degrees. And then at 11:40, it stopped warming up and threw off the error code E20. So I snapped my pictures, added it to the drive and then went into the manual to see what to do about this code.
I then followed the instructions, and reset the machine. It started working again and was able to get to 100 degrees by 12:30 (target temp was 104). However, once it hit this, the machine errored again and threw out E21.
Back to the instruction manual I went, and it said to basically just reset it. So I did, but this time the error code wouldn’t go away. And then the temperature slowly started dropping as I couldn’t get rid of the error code.
Eventually I unplugged the unit and reached out to Paul again. This time he wasn’t as helpful. I sent him the link with all of the videos/photos, but we never really got anywhere until I started getting angry and pressing to return the unit.
At this point he sends me two maintenance companies in my area with their phone numbers (and presented it to me as if it was my responsibility to call them and I would be in charge of paying for it).
This was the last straw for me. I drained the tub and asked to be refunded and return the unit. I’ve been denied over and over, with them citing a 30 day return period. However, my stance on this is that the unit hasn’t worked correctly since the day I bought it. I’ve lost all confidence that this unit will stay in good working condition over a long period of time
Things stalled out from there, so I cooled off and decided to try to get the unit working again. I filled it back up and simply tried to turn it on. Now I’m getting hit with error code E03. I followed the troubleshooting in the manual and it didn’t work (of course).
And now I’m at the end of my wits with this piece of junk.
To anyone considering buying a Michael Phelps Gilly Goat by Master Spa, please heed my warning. Do not.
I may end up being the only actual customer review on the internet for this thing, so please listen to this advice and stay away.
All of the components on this thing are very cheap quality. I have the feeling a large % of our purchase price is going for the rights to use Michael Phelps name, not in getting a quality product.
This unit is in a climate controlled garage. Not exposed to any elements. Yet it took it 18~ hours to go from 40 degrees to 100 degrees (and potentially burned itself out by doing it). The motor doesn’t work at all ever since making that switch. I can’t imagine what it’d do if you actually placed it outside in the elements. There’s no way all of the lines wouldn’t immediately freeze and burst if you did so in the winter.

2024.05.10 08:21 Prize-Command5063 Pearson Wright of Atlanta, Georgia

Man, awful background checking on Pearson Wright of Atlanta, Georgia sure reflects badly on anyone who employs him, like Cox Media in Atlanta, Georgia.
Pearson Wright of Atlanta, Georgia and his friends ("Hippie", "Sawney Wrath", and Sawney's ex-girlfriend Nicole) killed Michael's innocent dog Fritz. Michael is also not Pearson Wright's only victim, and he'll do it again.
Currently, the criminal Pearson Wright of Atlanta, Georgia works at Cox Media and his main current personal grift is called https://social-celebrity.com/ . This latest grift involves selling followers on social media sites, and he claims that real people follow the users of this service by their own free will. Assuming a service is actually rendered in response to payment, there are very few real ways a service like this can source followers. That includes bots, stolen credentials of otherwise active accounts, automated hijacking of accounts i.e. on Discord using the "join servers for me" permission. (this video exposes the strategy, not the specific operations of the criminal Pearson Wright of Atlanta, Georgia), or he may have created a separate shady Discord server or app that locks a desirable feature behind the requirement to follow users of Pearson's social celebrity service. I don't know how he does it.
Previously, Pearson Wright of Atlanta, Georgia sabotaged and stole credit for the hard work of Bart Gunshot on POTCOMC, assisted and promoted by YoGundi. The criminal Pearson Wright of Atlanta, Georgia and his frequent co-conspirator YoGundi domain squatted many Hytale-related domains when Hytale was announced, and the two used Pearson's malicious strategies to exert power over a community platform called Hytale Hub (link 1). The two have since moved on from Hytale.
On at least two occasions, Pearson Wright of Atlanta, Georgia and YoGundi illegally infringed upon the intellectual properties of The Walt Disney Company (Disney Interactive), first with their now-defunct POTCOMC store, and later the Pirates Online Retribution Game Store (don't visit without a VPN) which still accepts payments today, over six years after the criminal Pearson Wright of Atlanta, Georgia's "Retribution" codebase (which itself was stolen from TLOPO) was leaked in its entirety. Hopefully some of this matter would be interesting to The Walt Disney Company's internal legal team, or one of the firms that defend their intellectual property like Morrison & Foerster LLP or O’Melveny & Myers LLP or Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP or Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP or Latham & Watkins LLP or Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.
Just to be clear, Bart Gunshot is an innocent party in all of this and deserves justice as much as Michael.
Why do they walk free? Especially with the help of subpoenas, there is evidence of these things happening, and a paper trail, so u/mfwass, why have you of all people not pressed serious charges before the statute of limitations is up on this? Why has YoGundi never been held accountable for his participation in Pearson's schemes?
More information about the case involving Michael is available in Sawney's play by play of the events, known as "The_Quest_For_The_TLOPO_Sauce.txt" posted twice by Joseph Grey (gravity4444) in 2020 in the TLOPO Community Discord server.
I have nothing else of value to add myself, and god willing some real investigation and justice finally happens, investigators should look into the past and present staff of the TLOPO Community Discord server (unaffiliated with TLOPO the game, just the most popular TLOPO Discord server) as well as those named in this comment. To the TLOPO Community staff user "lackinganame" who asked about me, I am just someone who feels bad for Bart.
A few lawyers in the world are actually motivated by doing the right thing, and therefore might be interested in digging deeper than I did.
P.S. He was booked overnight on January 29, 2024 for a DUI, open container in a vehicle, and speeding, all at once.
P.P.S. Management of the TLOPO Community Discord server also controls this subreddit. They are connected to the same wannabe hacker group called Reign of Terror, and Upper Echelon, an in-game guild that should have been disbanded a long time ago.
The team running TLOPO the game has failed to maintain a safe and friendly community hub for their game after their falling out with Davy Darkrage. All the time, new and old players alike quit anything to do with TLOPO over the toxic environment of the TLOPO Community Discord server. After all the limits TLOPO imposed on their game so as not to anger Disney, you would think they'd care about public perception. Because if a lawyer from Disney learned about TLOPO from this thread alone, they'd be well within their rights to DMCA it over the reputation of their intellectual property being ruined by these people. Furthermore the unsuspecting women predated on by the TLOPO Community Discord server management and various in-game guild leaderships would be safer for it.

2024.05.09 20:08 Cetshwayo124 Human's optimized for olympic sports

I've been thinking a lot about Project Graham, the "steroid Olympics", and that one project about an animal optimized for triathlons. On top of that, as someone who is into sports I notice that the kind of sport someone succeeds at tends to depend on their body type, and top athletes of different sports tend to have different distributions of muscle.
With that in mind, what do you think it would look like if people were able to employ gene editing and surgical adaptations on their kids in order to highly specialize them for an Olympic sport? Effectively, in this dystopian world people can really lean into the toxic competitiveness of modern day sporting by hyper specializing their kids with cutting edge medical treatments starting from within the womb so that they can compete better than anyone else at a sport. Assuming in this world that the sports themselves have been modified to be especially taxing, like a 10,000K ultra ultra marathon, diving through flaming hoops of spinning blades, lethal fencing, etc., what would people look like?
The only restriction I would want is to keep the athletes mammalian, and readily distinguishable as a homo sapiens. I'd love to talk in the comments about this kind of thing.

2024.05.09 01:20 combination_udon Saw the butterfly stroke in person for the first time. WOW!

I’m still pretty new to swimming, having only started in December last year. I’ve been working on improving my breathing and freestyle technique, and I can now manage a sloppy breaststroke. The butterfly stroke though is not something I thought I’d ever want to learn. I’d only ever seen it on video (clips from Michael Phelps era Olympics and random YouTube vids while trying to learn something else) and it’s always seemed unnecessary and chaotic.
Until this weekend when I saw it done in person for the first time at the pool. There was a woman maybe in her 60s or 70s in the next lane who did the butterfly stroke for a few laps. It was magnificent. Powerful and graceful, with the water flung behind her like wings. I felt like I’d caught a glimpse of Winged Victory of Samothrace. It was awesome.
I’m in my early 30s, which feels pretty late to be a new swimmer, and there’s so much for me to learn still. Yet seeing that woman so powerful and strong in the water gives me hope there’s plenty of time for me to excel in this sport too.
^ just wanted to share with y’all :)

2024.05.05 20:46 Daemius912 Named Zombies base game 145/146 no bugged Butcho or Amanda

I started a fresh character intending to use the Masochist card the entire game. While doing this I've also been cataloging every single Named Zombie I've come across to make sure I get them all. I've been staying out of SoLa on purpose with this character to make sure those named zombies don't mess with my count. I did complete the Haus story line and have accounted for the 3 named zombies you encounter just doing the Haus story. That leaves me currently after completing all sidequests, the story, and doing all the lockboxes, at 145/146 zombies for base game.
I made sure to check that both Amanda Styles and Butcho counted towards my count and they did when I killed them. The only anomaly I've found is you get credit for a named zombie immediately upon entering the Brentwood Sewers during the It's Not Your Fault quest. When you later kill the Seismologist named zombie, you don't get credit for it. I have cataloged this happening 3 times and recorded it once. I can only assume this unaccounted for zombie when you enter the sewer is the game erroneously giving you credit ahead of time however I can't be sure until I've figured out who this 146th zombie is. Otherwise I have to assume the seismologist is bugged and the named zombie count is incorrectly inflated by 1.
Here's the entire list of zombies I've killed this playthrough.

Cut for Time
\1. Hotel/Restaurant (live sketch)
  • Chloe Fineman is at the front desk of a fancy hotel/restaurant. On the phone she says they are fully booked, but they can make room for Leonardo DiCaprio and his five guests. Mikey Day and Heidi Gardner (Mikey looks dressed like a 00s rock band frontman and Heidi looks a little Paris Hilton-esque) come in and ask for a room/table. Chloe denies them and they go into the “do you know who I am?” routine. Mikey (who has a ridiculous name I can’t remember) is from a “famous” band known for their song “Becky’s Mouth”, which Mikey sings for Chloe and it sounds like Jessie’s Girl, as Chloe points out. Heidi (also with a ridiculous name) is a model/actress and she mentions a commercial she was in. Dua Lipa enters as the third in their group. She cites her own list of silly sounding credits. Kenan comes out as the manager and gets mad at the group. Mikey tries to prove his importance by pointing out his car (not shown) from [fake car brand with silly name] which he got before it even released to the public. Kenan calls it ugly. Mikey also cites his expensive [fake clothing brand with silly name] clothing and Heidi her fancy bag with an LLF on it (standing for something starting with Luigi). Heidi pulls out a bottle of their brand of Ferret Vodka, which has a Ferret-haped stopper. Then, Colin Jost comes out in full vacation get-up, who the staff recognize as Colin Jost, and says he knows the trio and they can come sit at his table. He says he was just listening to “Becky’s Mouth”. End of sketch.
  • I thought this was pretty good. Sad to see a rare Colin Jost sketch appearance cut.
\2. What Would You Do? (live sketch)
  • There is a standard “What would you do?” intro where the premise is explained. In this episode, two actors will simulate a racist encounter in a pizza place to see how the patrons will react. Andrew Dismukes is the actor playing the guy behind the counter, and Marcello Hernandez is the actor playing a Latino guy with an accent buying a pizza. Marcello tries to order a pizza and Andrew suggests he illegally immigrated. As Molly Kearney, playing a nearby patron, is about to react, Dua Lipa and Ego Nwodim barge in. The narrator explains that these two women came in and interrupted the shoot so they couldn’t get the patrons’ reaction. They are both in fancy tracksuits (different colors) with a lot of makeup on and Dua has big hoop earrings. Both in trashy English accents, they start accosting Andrew. They say they’ve both been experiencing terrible diarrhea and it’s because of the pizza. They say they’ve only been in the US for a day and have just had the pizza, a pretzel, and some oysters a guy on the street offered them. They describe in excruciating detail how bad their diarrhea was and how it hit them as they were getting on the subway with a joke to the effect of “Stand clear of the expelling women”. Andrew tries a few times to unsuccessfully explain to them that he is just an actor and that they are shooting. Dua and Ego say that they themselves were “shooting” (referring to the diarrhea). They eventually get it when he says they are on TV. They get all excited, but say they wish they were prepared and Dua laments that she has her small hoops on. And I believe it ends with them realizing that they’re “dia-ruh-rhea” story got recorded and the narrator says that they kept it as revenge for ruining their shoot.
  • This was one of Dua’s best comedic roles all night so it was a shame it was cut. I guess the toilet humor could be a lot for some people, but it worked for me (and I thought the audience liked it).
  • Marcello was also wearing a mustache that IMO was really working for him.
\3. Graduation (live sketch)
  • Bowen Yang, Chloe Troast, Marcello Hernandez, Ego Nwodim, Dua Lipa [Corrected by u/wincew, Dua was not in this], and one or two others are on a college campus. They talk about their upcoming graduation and Chloe Troast with a guitar starts to lead them in a song to the tune of Graduation by Vitamin C. They recap their college experience year by year for a chorus/verse, with every year getting ruined by some world event. For each year, Kenan comes out with the respective NYE glasses for that year and for each bad news topic, they cut to JAJ as an anchor reporting that event. In 2020 they had Covid. Then they had the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Kenan says “How did you forget about January 6th?” The students all say at least they had some good things like corn kid, and the Ice Bucket Challenge (“that was 10 years ago!”). Then they show Ego and Marcello in bed together (still standing with a sheet placed in front of them and a bed stood up behind them), which cuts to Roe v. Wade being overturned. Then graduation comes in 2024, but they find out the ceremony is canceled because [they say something to indicate the Gaza protests, without mentioning them explicitly] reasons.
  • Maybe not the most original observation, but I liked it and liked what it was saying. Not really surprised it got cut though.
\4. Drinks after Work Promotion (live sketch)
  • Bowen Yang, Ego Nwodim, Andrew Dismukes, Dua Lipa, and Molly Kearney (?) are out for drinks at a bar after work. They are talking about a promotion Andrew just got (due to nepotism) and how he is now their boss. Andrew makes a comment about removing a framed photo of Dua and her son. She gets offended since it’s actually a picture of her and her husband. Andrew points out she looks much older than him. Something causes the whole group minus Andrew to sing the song “Don’t Matter” by Akon. Andrew says he loves that song and it’s actually it’s his favorite song. Dua doubts him and asks what his favorite part is. He sings the chorus “Nobody wanna see us together”. Dua points out that his favorite part is just the chorus, to which he responds “that’s why it’s the chorus”. Dua insists he doesn’t actually know the song and challenges him to sing along if she plays it on the jukebox. As the song starts, Andrew sings the chorus, and then when the verse starts, he says his throat is dry and starts sipping his beer. Dua calls him out, but the rest of the group tells her to calm down. He finishes his beer just as the chorus comes back in and sings the chorus. When the next verse comes, he repeats the dry throat thing and grabs Ego’s wine and does the same thing. Dua gets more mad as the group polices her. The next verse Andrew fakes having to sneeze. Then he fakes getting a phone call about his mom being in the hospital “oh she’s okay?” and immediately breaks back into the chorus. He fakes the phone call again, but Dua grabs his phone and throws it. After the group gets upset with her again, she admits she was really just mad about the promotion, cause she really thought she was gonna get it, and is just taking it out on Andrew. Bowen then reminds her that she didn’t get the promotion because she twisted the nipples of the water cooler guy and the only reason she didn’t get fired is because he spilled it on her and she threatened to sue. The sketch ends with Dua and Andrew singing the “best part” together, with Andrew taking a high harmony.
  • I liked it, mainly for Andrew’s killer timing with each of his verse-chorus gags, but I’m not surprised it got cut.
  • As they were setting up this sketch, I waved at Dua and she made eye contact and waved back at me and so I was slightly distracted and starstruck at the beginning of this one.
\5. Babysitter (live sketch)
  • Sophie (Dua Lipa) is trying out for a babysitter gig for parents Mikey Day and Heidi Gardner. She seems to be getting along with the kids (extras) and Mikey and Heidi say how they don’t even want to see the other candidates cause they like Dua. Dua says how she appreciates that they don’t judge her for her past. They didn’t realize she had a past, which leads to her revealing she was in jail for DUIs. But she reassures them she doesn’t drink any more except [punchline I don’t remember]. She also mentions how she can’t read, and how in jail she fell in love with a guy, Winslow. She holds up a crayon drawing the kids made for her, with her as a stick figure behind bars, and written “visiting Sophie at [funny alternate name for jail]”. Mikey reads it aloud and Dua goes “so that’s what it says!” Dua asks if it’s alright that she invited her boyfriend over. There is a knock at the door and it is Kenan as Winslow. He has a long straight black wig and a long straight brown goatee and he is (as described by Mikey) “dressed like Carmen Sandiego”. Dua mentions something implying he runs a cult. Behind him are Chloe Troast and either Sarah Sherman or Chloe Fineman, who are dressed a little like what I imagine a Victorian schoolgirl would look like. Kenan introduces them both as Sophie. Mikey and Heidi ask “did he make you all change your name to Sophie?” to which all the girls confirm. Kenan then asks Heidi if she is “bleeding” because he needs it for a ritual. She is scandalized. The kids come back after interacting with Kenan and they both have red cloaks now, to Heidi and Mikey’s horror. That might have been the end of the sketch, but I can’t remember.
  • I think the weakest sketch of the night so this was a fair cut.
I thought overall it was a good episode, but I personally would have cut the Young Spicy sketch and replaced it with the What Would You Do? sketch.

2024.05.05 03:34 StuckinLoserville Cut the Cameras

Ayonna is a busy little beaver cleaning house before her same-day visit with Jamahl and her court sentencing of 15 or 90 days. Her friend, Lexi, with the mini springy Slinky-like curls is helping her round up her daughter, Ahmira, and her son, Darien, who maybe not so surprisingly doesn’t live with his mother full-time, but visits on weekdays. Otherwise, Darien stays at his grandmother’s, Keisha’s, house. Starting early to avoid responsibility, Ayonna had her son when she was 17 years old and wasn’t ready to be a mom so that arrangement became a comfortable habit. But for all her fake mommy-hood vibes, she only has eyes and time for boopie who gets an ass load of thonged buttock décolletage because Romeo’s Juliet is as happy to gratify her man as to piss off the guards. Girlfriend don’t care who sees her jump up and down to chizzel so that thing sits right. Clack clack on the track – all a-bord while her tongue is hanging out waiting for a traffic signal to retract back into its mouth. She wants to be a slut for Jamahl (like Camilla wanted to be a tampon for Prince Charles.) No worries, honey, you already are his 4-ever ho giddy with the prospect of your felon drilling you with his motorized gearbox snugly aiming for your precisely-sized diameter. He’ll miss her over her “dumb ass bid” – a sentiment she shares with Keisha when she flings herself onto Mom’s couch after the kids are safely tucked away. Jamahl is human so he’ll speak to other people just not any other females – like Clinton’s famous 1998 quote about Monica Lewinsky, “I did not have sex with that woman,” because he knows she’s jealous. Both misbegotten lovers are in the same boat and need to keep a watch on each other’s sanity - the same two people who jumped into their respective boats with little foresight and a lot of alacrity. Keisha, softer, younger, and prettier looking than her stumpy daughter – she of the bad choices, stoically listens as Ayonna continues to blame her situation on the police who confoundingly penalized for the “dumbest charge they made in America” setting in motion a chain reaction of events over which she has no control. Doesn’t Mommy get it? Apparently not because when Mommy says she’s been further discommoded and won’t be around forever to assist, Ayonna nearly jumps off the couch on which she had so lazily been resting to screech that she better be there to pick up the pieces because that’s what mothers are for, ironically disregarding the fact that she isn’t picking up the pieces for her children; she’s smashing them to bits as she waits for her man to come home to pick up the rest of her pieces. I mean if someone doesn’t hand her a broom and a dustpan, what is a selfish girl supposed to do?
True, standing so proudly in the jail’s culinary art kitchen with his sunglasses perched on his head ready to avoid the glare of fluorescent and LED lighting, his popping chest straining against the white-on-white undershirt and shirt, practically bouncing on the balls of his feet unable to contain the fineness of himself, is playing with recipes to possibly outcook Shonta. He’s just now encountering squid and mixing it with crab and mozz-a-rella to make a seafood omelet – a dish many on the outside can’t afford to eat – assuming they would want to. The restaurant is Shonta’s long-held idea for which she saved 25K, but it was stolen and now True is to be the invisible (in more ways than one) restaurant manager – as sound an idea as LaTisha and Keith’s loan business - so she visits Fannie’s African restaurant for advice while True is on the phone. Fannie had to wait two years to see a profit – typical for that industry, but True wants to see it in two months. Fannie wisely suggests that Shonta ensures that one-half the restaurant is officially hers as partners, in love and life, can change as easily as a seasonal menu. Later, Fred, her sticky-fingered, pimp-vibing stepbrother with as checkered a past as True, even having been fellow inmates in the same jail for 6 months, comes limping in to try and salvage some trust in their relationship. He’s the 5K safe stealing equivalent of the cookie thief who denies, denies, denies stealing cookies even as the crumbs fall from his lying lips. Why would this addict rob his relative of a golden opportunity just because the situation unfolded itself in his lap with the exuberance of a dandelion’s fluffy seedhead? Furthermore, he adds that she doesn’t know what she’s getting into when she gets with True, awakening Shonta’s Spidey senses, and they need to be quivering as she is as surrounded by victimizing men as Conestoga wagons in the untamed West.
Outdoors man Rick is shopping with his nieces, Dyana and Veronica, a corrections officer, to spice up his wardrobe. He’s supposed to be a ladies’ man. Kind of Kevin Bacon-ish. Divorced, he decides to try and find his high school crush, Samantha, recently released and now working at a re-entry center. She’s still blond and attractive, three granddaughters and resisting/obstructing officers and two felony DUI offenses later. They’ve been “dating" for over 3 months. Can we digress for a minute here? Old-fashioned dating wasn’t a blanket term used as a fig leaf for surfing through dating apps, speed-dating strangers in a neutral space, having quickies in the front seat of a car in a Compton-like neighborhood like Hugh Grant, or timed jail calls. Well, that’s ok, Rick has also had an alcohol and party problem himself, like Sammi, until 2 ½ years ago. In fact, he was a functional drunk until he started blacking out, which was when he started getting help. They have that in common. He awkwardly confesses that he’s been sending her money, never mind how much, 25K, and intends to marry her. The nieces are shocked, and Ronnie explains cons’ cons while Rick is scrunched in embarrassment looking wretched as his younger relatives admonish him for his naïveté.
That family video chat didn’t go that well. Conflict-avoidant Joey was outed by his sister’s minor bombshell of his prior relapse. As he relates this to a cavalier Michael on their phone chat, a fight is going down in the jail background as pepper spray cuts off their communication temporarily, perfectly illustrating Joey’s concerns about their communication skills. It’s not so much that as the ubiquitous secret one partner always has. This time it’s the release date. Pre-board in three months and parole board in 6 months before finding the recommended release date, and if parole is denied, Michael can wait from 6 months up to a year before being reconsidered. In fact, he could be in for another 6 years and that’s the straight answer he doesn’t want to give Joey, as well as the number of his past lovers, in and out of stir, and who knows what else. Of course, the silver lining to an extended sentence could be either time for honing those skills, which will require every one of those minutes, or the chance to reconsider throwing in with a fellow addict whose spent more time behind bars than in front of them.
It's a Joan Rivers, “Can we talk”? moment or coming to a gunfight unarmed as Kate begins to unwind, like an ectothermic snake after the equinox, feeling the warm sun spilling from the rock it’s hiding under. That’s because Tennie tells Kate some hard truths like her initiating a petition to address excessive sentencing that Kate wouldn’t assist with or even sign. Tennie explains but doesn’t apologize for her past. Cheyenne’s dad died when she was 1-years old and Mi’yah’s dad is MIA. When Kate discovers that Tennie isn’t a spoiled selfish boogie hogging the spoils to which Kate feels she’s being rightfully denied, she reluctantly admits, “I might like her,” but it wouldn’t do to like her right away, of course. They both walk away unsettled; Tennie concerned that Rob hasn’t called to find out how the visit went so Tennie decides to weaponize those insidious cameras to have a night to herself. Rob is incredulous and turns the convo into telling her his case manager suggested turning down parole and staying in longer which Rob unilaterally decided to do. He doesn’t tell her he’s got a portrait-sized tattoo of a past girlfriend on his arm he somehow needs to erase and that’s more important than disrupting other peoples’ plans. Well, it’s what happens when you decide to become a permanent living art installation with few chances of rotation. And speaking of art, the slightly tilted looking piece over Tennie’s bed looks like either a crude attempt at Pointillism or mold spreading like cracked black pepper flung on a crumpled Saltine.

2024.05.04 04:44 Leather_Focus_6535 The currently 98 offenders executed by the state of Missouri since the 1970s and their crimes (warning, graphic content, please read at your own risk) [part 1, cases 50 to 98]

Despite the typo in the title, this is the second part of my list for Missouri's execution roster. As stated in the first part, character count limitations forced me to split it into two separate posts. For the link to part 1, please click here.
The currently executed 98 offenders, cases 50 to 98:
50. Samuel Smith (1979-2001, lethal injection): In 1979, Smith bound and strangled a physician, 28 year old Zachary Moraitis, to death while robbing his apartment. He was charged and convicted for second degree murder, and given a 12 year sentence for it. 8 years later, a group of inmates, which included 24 year old Marlin May, attacked another inmate. Smith intervened, got into a knife fight with May, and stabbed him to death.
51. Jerome Mallett (~1985-2001, lethal injection): Mallett shot and killed James Froemsdorf, a 35 year old state trooper that pulled him over for speeding, with his own handgun when he tried to arrest him. He fled the scene with a handcuff stuck on his left wrist, which was still on him when Mallett was captured two days later. As a child, Mallett suffered an injury that deformed his right hand, which enabled to slip it out of the cuffs during the botched arrest. At the time of Froemsdorf's murder, Mallett was wanted for robbery and parole violations.
52. Michael Roberts (1994-2001, lethal injection): Roberts tricked his neighbor, 56 year old Mary Taylor, into letting him hang out at her house with the intentions of pulling a robbery. They watched television together for several hours until Taylor decided to hush out of the door. He then pounced on her with a hammer he snuck inside, and inflicted 19 blows to her head. Roberts also poured boiling water on Taylor's face, choked her with a telephone cord, and stabbed her with her own butcher knife. A total of $200 and other undisclosed valuables were stolen and most of it was spent on cocaine.
53. Stephen Johns (1982-2001, lethal injection): During a gas station robbery, Johns and his accomplices shot and killed the clerk, 17 year old Donald Voepel, and took $248 from the register.
54. James Johnson (1991-2002, lethal injection): Johnson got into an argument with his wife and daughter in their home and tried to evict them both at gunpoint. The police were called, and Johnson shot and killed the responding officer, 27 year old Leslie Roark. He drove to the home of another police officer, and fired on his family while they were having a Christmas party. The officer's wife, 38 year old Pam Jones, died in the shooting. Johnson then attacked other policemen in their homes, and fatally shot 54 year old Sheriff Charles Smith in one assault, wounded an officer in another, and gunned down a deputy sheriff, 42 year old Sandra Wilson, when she tried to respond to his rampage. He took a female hostage in a standoff with police, but Johnson released her and surrendered after a day of negotiations.
55. Michael Owsley (1993-2002, lethal injection): Owsley and his accomplice double crossed their dealers, 18 year old Elvin Iverson and Ellen Cole (age unknown), during a drug deal and tied them up at gunpoint. The pair beat and strangled their captives in the hope of extorting money from them. Iverson was shot point blank in the head while Cole managed to escape their captors.
56. Jeffrey Tokar (~1983-2002, lethal injection): Tokar and his girlfriend drove into a remote countryside in search of empty houses and farms to rob. The couple picked a farm house owned by 35 year old Johnny Douglass as their target. While they were burglarizing the property, Douglass returned home from an errand with his 8 year old son and 4 year old daughter. The family ran into the couple when they went inside, and Tokar held them at gunpoint. Despite Douglass' daughter pleading for her father's life and Douglass' own pleas, Tokar shot him dead. He had a long history of burglaries, and was released from prison after serving 3 years for burglary just months before the murder. His other previous convictions include DUI and assault.
57. Paul Kreutzer (1992-2002, lethal injection): Kreutzer bound and raped 36 year old Louise Hemphill in her own home. Hemphill was stabbed in the neck, beaten with a baseball bat, and strangled to death with a belt. Her purse, along with other incriminating items such as duct tape, bloodied gloves, and a bb gun, was discovered in Kreutzer's possession.
58. Daniel Basile (1992-2002, lethal injection): Basile was hired to kill 28 year old Elizabeth DeCaro by her husband, who wanted to collect a life insurance policy. He carried out the murder by shooting Elizabeth dead in her kitchen.
59. William Jones Jr. (1986-2002, lethal injection): Jones was dating a much older man, 49 year old Stanley Albert. He shot and killed Albert "execution style" in his apartment, wrapped him in a blanket, and dumped his body in a forest. Although Jones claimed that he acted to protect himself from a sexual assault, prosecutors postulated that the murder was motived by his desire to steal Albert's car (which he was captured speeding in).
60. Kenneth Kenley (~1984-2003, lethal injection): In the last of a day long string of robberies, Kenley stormed a tavern and shot a customer, 27 year old Ronnie Felts, dead. He kidnapped the tavern's owner, but she managed to escape from him in the parking lot. Kenley also abducted a woman during a convenience store robbery earlier that day, and sexually assaulted and shot her. She managed to jump out of his car window and survived her injuries. He was released from a 4 year prison sentence for theft just months before his rampage.
61. John Smith (1997-2003, lethal injection): Smith stabbed his ex girlfriend, 22 year old Brandie Kearnes, and her stepfather, 51 year old Wayne Hoewing, to death in their home. Kearnes wrote Smith's name in her own blood as she was dying from her injuries.

Years before, Hall shot and wounded a 4 year old girl while trying to kill a man he had been chasing, and had been on parole for that crime at the time of Wood's abduction and murder.
63. Donald Jones (1993-2005, lethal injection): Jones walked inside the home of his grandmother, 68 year old Dorothy Knuckles, to beg for money. They got into an argument over his cocaine addiction and alcoholism, and he stabbed her to death with a butcher knife from the kitchen. He then stole an undisclosed amount of money, a VCR set, and her car. Jones used both the money he gained from renting the car and selling the VCR set and the money he stole from Knuckles for cocaine.
64. Vernon Brown (~1973-2005, lethal injection): Brown raped, strangled, and fatally stabbed 19 year old Synetta Ford in her apartment. A year later, he enticed 9 year old Janet Perkins into his home. He then sexually abused and strangled her to death with rope. Brown forced his 11 year old, 9 year old, and 7 year old stepsons to help him dispose of Perkins' body. A lifelong sexual predator, he had a prior conviction of assaulting a 12 year old girl and molested his stepsons. Authorities also suspected that he was involved with the murders of 9 year old Kimberly Campbell and a still unidentified Jane Doe, but he was never charged for them.
65. Timothy Johnston (1989-2005, lethal injection): Johnston beat his wife, 27 year old Nancy, with a chair and kicked her to death in front of her 11 year old stepson (from a previous relationship) over his suspicions of her infidelity. According to the stepson, Johnston physically abused her several times in their marriage. He was part of a biker gang and also had charges of burglary and assault pending at the time of the killing. As a side note, Nancy's stepson was living with the couple, as his biological mother went missing and his biological father committed suicide in the boy's presence a year before the murder.
66. Marlin Gray (1991-2005, lethal injection): Gray and 3 accomplices kidnapped two sisters, 20 year old Julie and 19 year old Robin Kerry, in front of their 19 year old cousin. The sisters were gang raped together and thrown off a bridge. Their cousin was also tossed off the bridge, but he survived his injuries.
67. Dennis Skillicorn (1979-2009, lethal injection): In 1979, Skillicorn and some accomplices shot and killed 81 year old Wendell Howell in his home and stole his television set. He was given a relatively lenient sentence of 35 years for agreeing to testify against the other shooters and was paroled in 1992. A few years after his release, Skillicorn recruited another felon, Allen Nicklasson, and a teenage boy they befriended, and went on another robbery spree. In the process, they fatally shot 31 year old Paul Hines, 47 year old Richard Drummond, 47 year old Joseph Babcock, Joesph's 38 year old wife Charlene, and possibly an unidentified woman in Mexico. The gang found themselves stranded on roads and highways several times due to poor driving, and Drummond and the Babcocks were both abducted and murdered when they tried to help them out.
68. Martin Link (~1982-2011, lethal injection): A chronic sexual predator, Link abducted 11 year old Elissa Self-Braun while she was walking home from school. Self-Braun was raped and strangled to death with a cord. Joseph Franklin (~1977-2013, lethal injection): In a rampage that spanned across several states, Franklin shot 15 to 20 victims between the ages of 13-45 in mostly sniper attacks, and firebombed a synagogue. Most of his victims were killed, but a few such as pornographer Larry Flynt (36 years old at the time of the shooting) and and Civil Rights attorney Vernon Jordan (45 years old at the time of the shooting) survived their injuries. Franklin was a white supremacist, and mostly targeted Blacks, Jews, civil rights activists, and interracial couples.
70. Allen Nicklasson (~1980s-2013, lethal injection): Nicklasson assisted the above mentioned Dennis Skillicorn in the robbery murders of Paul Hines, Richard Drummond, Joseph and Charlene Babcock. He had a history of petty crimes starting as a child, but my sources were scant on the details.
71. Herbert Smulls (~1994-2014, lethal injection): While robbing a jewelry store with an accomplice, Smulls shot and killed the owner, 57 year old Stephen Honickman, and stole some jewelry. He had 11 previous convictions of robbery and theft, and was tied to another robbery committed in similar circumstances.
72. Michael Taylor (1989-2014, lethal injection): Taylor and Roderick Nunley kidnapped 15 year old Ann Harrison while she was waiting for a school bus. They dragged her inside their car and drove Harrison to the home owned by Nunley's mother. She was gang-raped by the pair in the house's garage and stabbed to death.
73. Jeffrey Ferguson (1988-2014, lethal injection): Ferguson and an accomplice snatched 17 year old Kelli Hall from a service station she worked at. She was taken to a barn, where she was raped and strangled to death. Hall's body was dumped on the property. Ferguson had an assault conviction that pertained to an incident of him shooting and injuring a friend in a dispute over a woman. That same woman also claimed that Ferguson sexually assaulted and physically abused her numerous times while they lived together.
74. William Rousan (1993-2014, lethal injection): Rousan, his teenage son, and his brother attacked a farm owned by a married couple, 67 year old Charles and 62 year old Grace Lewis. Under his orders, Rousan's son shot and killed both of the Lewis'. The Rousans stole the couple's truck, a VCR set, two cows, jewelry, and a saddle in the robbery.
75. John Winfield (1996-2014, lethal injection): Winfield was enraged that his ex girlfriend started dating another man and confronted her about it at her apartment. Two friends of her, 23 year old Shawnee Murphy and 20 year old Arthea Sanders, were also present with them. In a fit of anger, Winfield shot all three of the women multiple times each. Murphy and Sanders died at the scene, while the ex girlfriend survived with severe facial disfigurements and was permanently blinded.
76. John Middleton (~1990s-2014, lethal injection): Middleton was a meth dealer whose operations had been increasingly compromised by police raids. In an attempt to root out the potential informants, he armed himself with an SKS rifle, and shot and killed three of his associates, 39 year old Randy Hamilton, 29 year old Alfred Pinegar, and 21 year old Stacey Hodge. He disposed of the bodies with the help of his girlfriend. A rival meth dealer had also accused Middleton of raping and beating his girlfriend to death with a baseball bat, but he wasn't prosecuted for that crime.
77. Michael Worthington (1995-2014, lethal injection): Worthington cut through the window screen of a neighboring condo, and sexually assaulted the tenant, 24 year old Melinda Griffin. He strangled her to death with a cord and his bare hands when she tried to fight back. Griffin's car, jewelry, and credit cards were stolen by Worthington, and he used the card to buy drugs.
78. Earl Ringo Jr. (1998-2014, lethal injection): Ringo and his accomplice ambushed a delivery driver, 45 year old Dennis Poyser, and a manager trainee, 22 year old JoAnna Baysinger, as they were walking into a Ruby Tuesday restaurant. He shot and killed Poyser upon entry, and forced Baysinger to pull out $1,400 from the restaurant's safe. Despite her compliance, Ringo shot Baysinger in the head.
79. Leon Taylor (~1975-2014, lethal injection): In 1975, Taylor and some accomplices fatally stabbed 62 year old Jesse Howartzer while burglarizing his apartment. He was given a second degree murder conviction and was released sometime before the 1990s. In 1994, Taylor and his half siblings forced a gas station attendant, 53 year old Robert Newton, to pull out $400 from the register and shot him dead. Newton's 8 year old stepdaughter was also present to keep him company, and Taylor moved to kill her as well. The girl's life was only spared when his gun jammed. After the robbery, he expressed his regrets of not "choking the little bitch" to his siblings.
80. Paul Goodwin (1998-2014, lethal injection): Goodwin was removed from a boarding home, and he blamed his neighbor, 63 year old Joan Crotts, for it. His habit of harassment towards her intensified, and he repeatedly shouted vulgarities and threats on her front porch, tossed beer bottles and eggs at her lawn and house, and fed her dog chicken bones. It escalated to the breaking point when Crotts invited Goodwin inside her home in an attempt to have the issue peacefully resolved. Goodwin instead forced Crotts to perform oral sex on him and bludgeoned her to death with a hammer. His execution was controversial, as Goodwin allegedly had a cognitive disability.
81. Walter Storey (1990-2015, lethal injection): Storey climbed up the balcony of his apartment complex, and entered a neighboring flat. He stabbed the tenant, 36 year old Jill Frey, 12 times with his kitchen knife and broke 6 of her ribs in a beating. Frey's pocketbook, keys, and car were stolen in the robbery.
82. Cecil Clayton (1996-2015, lethal injection): Clayton got into an altercation with his estranged girlfriend at a store, and shoved her a number of times. The employees notified the police, and a few officers were sent to the scene. They spoke with Clayton and he agreed to return to his home while the police escorted the shaken girlfriend back to hers. In the following night, Clayton tried to break into her house, and she called the police. One of the dispatched officers, 29 year old Christopher Castetter, was shot dead in the ensuring confrontation.
83. Andre Cole (1998-2015, lethal injection): Cole broke a window and entered the home of his ex wife to confront her about debts relating to child support payments for their two children. His ex wife's boyfriend, 38 year old Anthony Curtis, tried to usher him out the door, but was stabbed to death for his troubles. Cole also attacked his ex wife, but she survived her injuries.
84. Richard Strong (~1999-2015, lethal injection): Strong fatally stabbed his girlfriend, 23 year old Eva Washington and her 2 year old daughter, Zandrea Thomas, in their apartment. Both of the bodies were mutilated almost beyond recognition. He had assaulted Washington numerous times in their relationship. Many of the episodes were taken to the courts. One choking incident required him to be in anger management classes and Washington pushed a restraining order that she later withdrew in another.
85. David Zink (~1980s-2015): Zink kidnapped 19 year old Amanda Morton after ramming her car with his own on the freeway. He bound Morton to a cemetery tree and raped her. She was beaten to death, and her body was found with over 100 blunt trauma related injuries. Zink had just been released after serving 20 out of a 33 year sentence for sexual assault at the time of the abduction and murder.
86. Roderick Nunley (1989-2015, lethal injection): As mentioned under Michael Taylor's section, Nunley partook in the abduction, rape, and murder of Ann Harrison.
87. Earl Forrest II (2002-2015, lethal injection): Forrest was in the home of 51 year old Harriet Smith trying to negotiate a deal involving her buying him a lawn mower and a trailer in exchange for a source of meth. An argument broke out, and Forrest fatally shot Smith and her housemate, 41 year old Michael Wells. He stole $25,000 worth of meth and fled to his home. A squad of responding police officers confronted him there and Forrest opened fire on them. Sharon Barnes, a 48 year old deputy, was killed, and Sheriff Bob Wofford and Forrest's girlfriend Angela Gamblin were wounded by him in the exchange.
88. Mark Christeson (1998-2017, lethal injection): Christeson and his cousin abducted 37 year old Susan Brouk, and her two children, 12 year old Adrian and 9 year old Kyle, from their home at gunpoint. The pair raped Susan, slashed her throat, and drowned her and her children together in a pond. Several items such as the family's shotguns, television set, VCR, car stereo, video game controller, and checkbooks were stolen from the home, and sold for money to sustain themselves as fugitives.
89. Russell Bucklew (1996-2019, lethal injection): Bucklew was infuriated that his ex girlfriend, Stephanie Ray, broke off their relationship and started dating 27 year old Michael Sanders. He began by beating Ray in her trailer, cut her jaw with a knife, and threatened to kill her if she stepped foot in Sanders' trailer. The attack had the opposite effect of its' objective, and instead terrified Ray to the point of moving in with Sanders for protection. Weeks later, Bucklew "borrowed" his brothers' handcuffs and guns, and stormed Sanders' trailer. He shot and killed Sanders, shot at his 6 year old son, and kidnapped Ray. Bucklew bound her with the handcuffs, dragged her into his car, and raped her. She was rescued by police officers, who wounded and subduded Bucklew in a shootout. However, Bucklew briefly escaped, and attacked Ray's mother and her boyfriend with a hammer before he was recaptured. His execution was contested, as Bucklew allegedly had a medical condition that would've made the lethal injection "inhumane."
90. Walter Barton (1991-2020, lethal injection): Barton was condemned for the fatal attack on his landlady, 81 year old Gladys Kuehler in her trailer. She was raped and stabbed over 50 times. A page from Kuehler's checkbook was taken, which was used to transfer $50 to Barton's account. Blood found on his clothes were also linked to Kuehler by a DNA test. Kuehler and Barton were reportedly close and many accounts report that he assisted her in walking and did chores around her home. However, she had him evicted due to falling far behind on rent days before the murder. Barton, his attorneys, and supporters in Missouri’s Innocence Project pushed that the blood on his clothes was from posthumous contact with Kuehler’s body while allegedly discovering it. From such concerns, his execution was a source of controversy.
91. Ernest Johnson (~1990s-2020, lethal injection): Johnson held a retail store at gunpoint. In retaliation for the employees destroying the safe key, Johnson shot 3 employees, 58 year old Fred Jones, 57 year old Mable Scruggs, and 46 year old Mary Bratcher. When the victims survived the initial shootings, he beat and stabbed them to death with a hammer and a screwdriver. He had previous convictions of robbery and burglary, and was released from prison a year before the murders. His execution was contested, as Johnson had brain surgery to remove a tumor in 2014. According to his attorneys, the operation rendered him cognitively disabled, and therefore was ineligible for execution.
92. Carman Deck (1996-2022, lethal injection): Deck, his sister, and their mother's boyfriend invaded the home of a couple, 69 year old James and 67 year old Zelma Long. They shot and killed the Longs, and stole jewelry, checks, and a total of $200 from the house.
93. Kevin Johnson Jr. (~2000s-2022, lethal injection): Johnson was heavily involved with robberies and other crimes as a teenager, and spent much of his time in and out of prison. In 2005, local law enforcement suspected Johnson of violating the terms of his probation, and raided his family home. His 12 year old brother died of a seizure during the search, and Johnson and the family blamed the officers involved. He hunted down one of the officers, 43 year old William McEntee, and shot and killed him while he was on patrol.
94. Scott/Amber McLaughlin (~1992-2023, lethal injection): McLaughlin abducted their girlfriend, 45 year old Beverly Guenther, from her office as she was getting off from a shift. They raped and stabbed Guenther to death, and dumped her body in a neighborhood. Guenther’s family recounted that McLaughlin was extremely abusive during their relationship, and harassed Guenther when she left them. The harassment included several incidents of burglarizing Guenther’s home. McLaughlin was also a registered sex offender with a conviction of molesting a 14 year old girl. They received national attention for being the first known transsexual to be executed in the United States. Biologically male during their offenses and transitioned to female on death row.
95. Leonard Taylor (2004-2023, lethal injection): Taylor shot and killed his girlfriend, 28 year old Angela Rowe, and her 3 children, 10 year old Alexus, 6 year old AcQreya, and 5 year old Tyrese, in their home. He had several unrelated sexual offenses against a former stepdaughter and other unidentified women, and was involved with drug trafficking. Despite his history and the other damning evidence against him (including testimony of his brother mentioning that he confided about committing the murder and traces of Angela's blood being found on his glasses), Taylor was popular among Missouri Innocence Project organizations for his daughter's alleged claims of him calling her 2,000 miles away from the crime scene.
96. Michael Tisius (2000-2023, lethal injection): In an attempt to break a friend out of a rural jail, Tisus shot and killed two guards, 33 year old Leon Egley and 36 year old Jason Acton. However, he was driven away by police reinforcements, and forced to flee the jail emptyhanded with his accomplice, the friend's girlfriend. They were captured in Kansas when their car broke down. Tisus was previously held in the targeted jail for an unspecified misdemeanor, and became acquainted with his friend while they were cellmates.
97.Johnny Johnson (2004-2023, lethal injection): Johnson was sleeping over at a friend's house where 6 year old Cassandra Williamson was also staying with her father. In the middle of the night, Johnson lured Williamson into an abandoned factory, and raped her. When she tried to fight back, he crushed her skull with a brick. At the time of the murder, Johnson was a transient with a criminal history, but I couldn't find any specifics regarding his past convictions. Johnson's execution was a source of controversy, as he was previously diagnosed with schizophrenia.
98.Brian Dorsey (~2006-2024, lethal injection): Dorsey was on the run from a drug related debt to his dealers and retreated to his cousin, 25 year old Sarah Bonnie, and her husband, 28 year old Benjamin, for sanctuary. In their home, he shot the couple dead in front of their 4 year old daughter and performed acts of necrophila on Sarah's body.
