Hello, as you have read in the title, my PC is having problems. While playing Tekken 8 on my PC, the monitor turned black, it was then that I decided to clean everything, including the GPU (GTX 1650), as the error persisted I decided to buy an Intel arc a750, since I could not uninstall the drivers of the old graphics card, what I did was format my PC, after placing the new card, after a few minutes the screen froze but I could move the mouse normally, then I restarted and it was not solved, with the PC on I changed the displayport cable for another and the problem seemed to have been solved, then after a few minutes it froze again, I have repositioned the card several times and the error persists. I know it's a lot of text but I did it trying to put all the details and context.

I got this game on a Steam sale a few months ago, but only last night did I finally have the time to try it. The game seems simple enough to understand, and the game wasn't too punishing either. With that said, I want to avoid making too much mistakes here. So as a beginner getting into this game, may I ask for the tips and tricks for the game? For example, what skills should I get and focus on first and foremost? Should I unlock all the maps first, and how to unlock it all? What's the best button layout for the PC? And stuff like that. Hey guys, I have an old machine from 2008, which was my first pc. To this day I use it sometimes. Back then, my father bought this "HCL" brand pc, the company already shut down ages ago, but the hardwares they provided weren't that bad, considering I never had to change anything in it, because it got bad except the cmos battery. Over the years I have upgraded a few things in it, so now I'm wondering if there's a good GPU available for this system, so that I could use it without changing anything in the system, considering the bottleneck and all. Also I'm using a GPU but after researching a bit I found out, that the GPU is weak for the cpu this bottlenecking it.

Note : I'm not planning to make it a heavy gaming setup because by all means it's not worth it, but yeah like a budget gpu that could complement it, would be a great addition. Also let me know if GT610 is really that bad even with such an outdated computer

Anyone experience this? Everything was working fine last night. I booted up the PC today and now audio will only play through the chat channel. I've set my sources correctly and I can see that the audio is reaching Game/Media etc. as the mixer is busy, but no actual sound is making it from my Sonar to my headphones unless I use the Chat channel and if I do that, it's applying chat filters and trying to filter out all other sound.
*Edit* Sound is also working through AUX

Hello All,
Recently purchased the G733 and I'm in need of some help. I get it turned on and connected without issue. Audio sounds clear and the headset works fine.
Then about 10-15 mins after use all the audio becomes gets static-filled/distorted making it nearly impossible to use comfortably. I've tried different USB ports on my PC, updated G-Hub and even removed the left earpad to full hardware reset but nothing works.
The only solution I've found is turning the headset on and off but that can be frustrating, especially in the middle of a game/voice call.
Please let me know if anyone has a solution to this or something I can try because I have been unable to find one so far.

Having server error with V rising since the hotfix released. I'm unable to get back into the server. PvP server (solo, hosted on my pc via client) No mods Game loads through some set up, stalls at 1/5 loading, then says "Server Error".
Anyone else have this issue since the patch? Bug report has been filed so any confirmation from other players (or workarounds) would be appreciated.

Hey everyone, I'm building a new PC that will mostly be used for gaming, watching TV and YouTube, and some minor graphic design and animation. I've spent the last few months going part by part and combination by combination to choose my parts to build the best PC for my needs within my budget, 2300 CAD, and came up with this list with my reasoning for choosing these parts. ANY thoughts or recommendations on the overall build, price point, parts or my writing skills are welcome and appreciated, Thank you!
CPU-Ryzen 7800x3d- I picked this CPU because it seems to be the best for gaming and some productivity, came highly rated and i kept reading that it was the best gaming CPU. I also read that even though the 7900x3d should be better mix for gaming and productivity it somehow is worse at both.
CPU cooler-Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE 66.17 CFM CPU Cooler- I picked this cooler because it was recommended as the best bang for your buck CPU cooler while still delivering on performance, which let me spend more money on other parts of the build.
Motherboard-Asus ROG STRIX B650E-F GAMING WIFI ATX AM5 Motherboard- The motherboard was honestly the part that took me the longest to decide on since there were just WAY too many options and WAY too many seemingly being prone to being lemons of having had issues that have since been fixed. Why i finally decided on this one though is that the issues it had, frying 7000 series CPUs, had reportedly been fixed so long as I flash the bios before installing my CPU, as well as that it meets all my needs in attempting to future proof my motherboard without dropping 400 or more CAD on it.
Memory-G.Skill Ripjaws S5 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory- Once I finally understood how Ram worked and how EXPO worked I basically went with what was cheapest in those parameters, not much else to say about it.
Storage-Western Digital Black SN850X 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive- Much like memory I don't have much to say about my choice of storage, Western digital seems like a good brand, I have a different one of their SSDs in my current PC, has about the same performance as similar performing SSDs while being cheaper in price.
GPU-4070 Super FE- I decided on the 4070 Super Fe for a few reasons, I heard Nvidia is better if I want to graphic design or animation as well as gaming, the 4070 super seems to be in the sweet spot for performance/price and I've read that the Fe retains it's value the best for when I want to upgrade.
Case-NZXT H6 Flow- I chose the H6 Flow because I liked the design, and I read that it was both easy to build in as well as being great for air cooling.
PSU-Corsair RM750- I'm stuck with this one because I already bought it when it was on a good sale, My reasoning for buying it though is that most importantly the wattage should be enough, and also because the RM series of Corsair power supplies seems to rank pretty high on most peoples tier lists of PSUs. Added bonus of being fully modular.

Does anybody have any tips on farming tremorrusk tusks. If I’m just trying to kill the mammoth it’s easy but I can’t collect tusks for the life of me. I’m playing on ultra hard new game and I’m trying to upgrade the legendary weapons. My original tragedy was to hit the sparklers with shock arrows and go to town on the tusks while he was down but all of a sudden the sparkers are inside it’s body and there’s no way for me to hit them. Since they are resistant to shock it’s really difficult for me to shock them without sparkers. I’m about to just say fuck it and do the final mission without upgrading the legendary weapons because this grind is killing me. And tips would be appreciated

Gamma app only takes bin.cue files. The bin.cue files I have found on online archives are all in German. I understand that there is an ISO converter available online, however I don't have a PC to use it. Are there any workarounds or different resources that contain english versions of PSX games in bin.cue format, or am I just screwed when it comes to emulating on Gamma? I'm really trying, and I did my research so please try to avoid any hostility lol

So, I've had this game in my backlog for a while and after upgrading my PC earlier this year, I decided I really want to play the sequel. So I started up the original game and am playing it now and I just don't get it. Maybe I was just expecting something different based on the game's reputation as a cult favorite? idk
The characters seem relatively facile and one dimensional and we barely get any time to get to know them before the inciting incident throws the town into hell so when that happens it lacks any sort of impact. I barely get to know anything about Alan's wife before she goes missing and I'm expected to be worried about her and want to get her back, but like, all I know about her is that she loves her husband and hates the dark and all I know about myself is that I'm a jaded pulp author with writer's block and that's it. It's hard to feel invested in the story when it feels like it's keeping so much back from me. It really feels like this game is trying so hard to have a specific tone and vibe to it that it ends up focusing almost exclusively on that rather than the core elements that make up a story. This is kind of ironic considering that its a game about telling stories
As for the gameplay, I just don't enjoy it. Like at all. The dodge button is so wildly inconsistent that it's basically a gamble every time, there's no enemy variation just "big enemy" "small enemy" and "birds" 90% of the time. The game is WAY too generous in giving you resources, so I hardly ever feel like I need to play it smart and conserve my supplies/pick my fights wisely, I'm always well equipped to take on any enemy. The flashlight mechanic is genuinely neat and enjoyable but because of how many batteries you pick up it just feels way too easy. And there's really not much variation in the gameplay. The game has three gameplay types: walk and talk sections, combat and dodging chairs, and basic platforming puzzles. It's very monotonous and kind of a slog to get through. At this point I'm just trying to brute force my way through the rest to see how the story turns out,.
I'm currently on Chapter 4. Should I continue through to the end or just watch the cutscenes on youtube then start the next game? Is there some really good shit that happens in the second half of the game and the first half is just kinda boring, or is it all like this? I'm really torn on whether or not I want to actually finish this game or just watch a lets play for the back half-- I just do not find the main gameplay loop enjoyable at all.

Over the last month I have had a heck of a time modding Skyrim for Steam Deck. In early 2023 I had modded the game via a Youtube video which worked perfectly but after the latest update, this is no longer the case. Googling provided almost Zero help.. Well through trial and error I've finally got the game modded for Steam Deck with 77 mods running perfectly. Today I'd like to share my findings.
I'll be using Vortex mod manager and SkyrimSE. For any other version of Skyrim just substitute your version instead. Also I know this may look overwhelming, it's not as hard as it looks, I'm just thorough. Aside from waiting for things to download and copy, this will take about 5-10 minutes. If there are issues however, one of the steps to fix this could take hours.
What you'll need:

• A PC capable of installing Skyrim and Vortex mod manager.
• A USB or USBC thumb drive or external drive (100gigs minimum).
• Cloud Saves Enabled for Skyrim.
• (optional) If your drive is USB you'll need a hub for your Steam Deck that supports USB.
• (optional) A keyboard and mouse to use on the Deck. Although you don't NEED these, it'll make the process much easier.

Getting Started:
Note: If you've already modded Skyrim on PC you can skip this section.

1. On your PC, Install Skyrim via Steam (remember where you installed it for later).
2. When it's finished, download and install Vortex Mod Manager.
3. Open your web browser and go to Nexus Mods and find and download all the mods you want to use. Select the "Files" tab and then select the "Mod Manager Download" option so Vortex can properly manage the mods. You may have to resolve some conflicts or the like, Vortex is pretty good at making that easy.
4. Once you are happy with the mods you have downloaded and installed. Launch Skyrim through Vortex by clicking the play button on the Skyrim graphic in the top left.
5. Play for at least 30 mins making sure to try everything, opening the map, your inventory, spells, etc.. If there are no crashes and no visible problems then you are good to go. Save the game and Close Skyrim and move to the next step.

Preparing Skyrim for the deck:

1. On your PC, open steam and uninstall Skyrim. This will leave you with a Skyrim directory with only the mods and nothing else. (note: certain mods will break with this method, mostly mods that overwrite default textures/models. These aren't common but if you experience this, you can skip this step and proceed to step 2)
2. Open your Skyrim directory on PC and plugin your thumb/external drive.
3. Copy the entire "Skyrim Special Edition" folder to your thumb/external drive.

Preparing the Deck for Skyrim:

1. On your Steam Deck, Install Skyrim normally. Run it at least once to make sure the prerequisites are installed..
2. Exit to desktop. To do this, long press the power button until a menu pops up with the option to 'switch to desktop".
3. Right click your desktop and select: "Create New>Folder". Name it "Skyrim Mods". This will be very important to save you headaches in the future.
4. Plug in your Thumb/external drive and mount and open it when prompted.
5. Open the "Skyrim Special Edition" folder from your thumb/external drive.
6. Copy "SkyrimSE.exe" and "skse64_loader.exe" to the "Skyrim Mods" folder you created on your desktop.
7. In the desktop folder, rename "SkyrimSE.exe" to "SkyrimSE_old.exe" and also rename "skse64_loader.exe" to "SkyrimSE.exe".
8. Right click inside the folder and select: "Create New>Text File" and name it "SKSE.ini".
9. Open "SKSE.ini" with your default text editor.
10. type the following into the "SKSE.ini" and save.

Installing the mods and set up:

1. Open your Skyrim directory on your deck. If you don't know where that is, open Steam from the desktop taskbar, right click Skyrim and select: "Manage>Browse Local Content".
2. Open your thumb/external drive and copy the contents of "Skyrim Special Edition" to your decks "Skyrim Special Edition" folder. When prompted select "Write into". Wait for it to finish copying. You may now unplug the thumb/external drive.
3. Open your "Skyrim Mods" folder from your desktop.
4. Copy the "SkyrimSE.exe" and "SkyrimSE_old.exe" into the "Skyrim Special Edition" folder. Select "overwrite" when prompted.
5. Inside your decks "Skyrim Special Edition" folder open "DATA" and then "SKSE"
6. Copy your "SKSE.ini" file into the "SKSE" folder on the deck.
7. Double click the "Return to Gaming Mode" icon on the desktop and wait for it to load up.
8. Launch Skyrim and load the save you made on your PC. This will enable all your mods. Play for at least 30 mins and try as many menus and mods as you can. If there are no issues, yay! Enjoy!

Crashes, Broken Mods and other issues:
Problem: The game ran a validation check and now my mods aren't showing up.
Solution: This will happen from time to time. Switch to desktop mode. Open your "Skyrim Mods" folder and re-copy the SkyrimSE.exe file into the decks Skyrim folder. This is why we keep that folder around.
Problem: The game seems to missing one or more textures.
Solution: Start with a validation check (then follow previous problems solution). If that doesn't work it would appear that one or more of the mods you are using overwrite one or more of the games textures. Unfortunately you'll need to start again while skipping the uninstall of Skyrim step. This will create a much larger file transfer size but should fix the problem.
Problem: The game crashes when I open menus or while looting or some mods are broken or not showing up. All other issues.
Solution: This one is a bit of a doozy. So most likely what is happening is your mod load order is out of whack. There is a fix but it can be very time consuming depending on how many mods you have installed. With the 77 I have it took about an hour.
On your PC open "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Vortex\skyrimse\profiles" where "USERNAME" is your name you sign into your PC with. Inside that folder there should be another folder named randomly. Open that and inside will be a text file called "loadorder.txt". Open that.
On your steam deck load Skyrim and when the main menu loads select "Creations". When it loads, press the "Y" button to configure the load order. Here you will find all your installed mods.
What you are going to want to do is cross reference the load order from the "loadorder.txt" with the load order you are seeing in Creations on the deck. You can reorder the list in creations by using "LB" while highlighting the mod you want to move. For me, it was very wrong and caused a lot of problems. This will fix all that.

My wife's nephew was given what I think was a pretty cheap starter gaming PC awhile back. His birthday is coming up and the family has decided to chip in together and get him a new PC because he said he wanted a new one.
Now, I'm the only one in the family that knows much about PC's - and I don't know much in the grand scheme of things - but I'm the only one that's built a PC before. They've set a budget around $800 which should hopefully give him at least a little upgrade over what he has currently. I was going to build him one and give it to him for the family. The problem is they live in South Carolina and we live in Tennessee. I don't know the first thing about trying to ship a PC or how much it would cost and dont think we are traveling that way any time soonm So we were considering going the pre-built route but I feel like at that price point, the options aren't great but then they would take care of shipping it obviously. Anyone have any advice?

I got my 32GS95UE today, I have two PCs, a my personal computer with a 1080ti and my work PC with a 3080. Obviously I can't get the full potential from the monitor on the 1080ti since the card doesn't support DSC, I'm planning on upgrading later this year. I've spent the last few hours trying to set it up and here are my impressions so far:
The good:

• Monitor looks awesome, great size, picture quality and color.

The bad:

• When connected to the 3080 machine, the monitor just shows a black screen unless I have another monitor plugged in at the same time (someone else posted here with the same issue but no resolution). Turning off the other monitor turns off the 32GS95UE as well, so I have to keep it on.
  
• The monitor shows a black screen on the 3080 if I try setting it to anything higher than 4k 120hz using either hdmi or display port, I'm using the cables that came with the monitor.
  
• Switching to dual mode (1080p 480hz) shows a black screen on both the 1080ti and the 3080 machines regardless of how the monitor is connected, so it's useless.
  
• When I put the 3080 machine to sleep, the monitor turned off and refused to turn back on (I was trying to switch the input to the 1080ti machine). It kept beeping whenever I pressed the power button and then would just beep incessantly. There is no explanation for what the beeping means in the manual, but a factory reset fixed the problem.
  

Frankly kind of shocking this thing is $1500 (with tax). It's a shame the minimal styling, matte coating and dual mode were all selling points for me, I mostly play competitive FPS game and was looking forward to being able to switch between 1080 high refresh and 4k easily. I might reach out to support but might just return it, I've run into so many issues in the last 4 hours I can't imagine it getting much better from here lol.

My (24f) partner (30m) yelled at me a few days before our wedding, I left upset and his family/ our friends sided with him. What do I do?
tl;dr: partner yelled at me, I left upset, he thought we were breaking up so he told his family, they all sided with him including my maid of honor and her brother, I was left in a hotel room with a friend I hadn’t known for that long that I had made my bridesmaid, with no family or friends to support me.
Let me set the scene. My partner tried to wake me up out of bed with coffee, I woke up cranky and told him to not wake me up. He thinks I’m mad at him, so he asks why I’m mad at him. I tell him I’m not, I’m just still waking up. He continues to get upset, thinking I’m upset with him, saying “idk why I’m always the bad guy” “idk what I do wrong, I’m just trying to bring you coffee”
At this point I dip to the bathroom. He’s still coming at me asking why I’m mad at him. I tell him I’m not mad, I’m just waking up. It escalates to him yelling at me in my face while I’m on the toilet, to which I ask him to not yell at me.
At some point he starts yelling at me about how I’m playing mind games on him and how it’s all in my head. How he wasn’t yelling, he was talking “like this”, oh he didn’t yell in my face he was “standing by the door”.
So now I’m just fucking annoyed because I can’t even wake up in peace. I tell him that I’m done and I need some space. I try to calm down but once my bridesmaid got in town, I dipped to her hotel.
My partner is freaking out on me, telling me “well if we’re breaking up, you have to tell everyone on Facebook, I’m not going to do it”
So I made a Facebook post we were breaking up. My partner blocked me and made a post saying he was still going to throw a party since everything was already paid for, for the wedding.
His mom rushed to his side, along with his grandparents, my maid of honor and her brother.
Apparently my maid of honor couldn’t handle me being incoherently drunk and upset so she had to leave to go console my partner instead.
My family is across the country so they couldn’t help me right away. They told me to stay away from him until they could help me but I needed DIRECT support. My other bridesmaid was just letting me take shot after shot and not really giving me advice on my behavior.
I went into shock and didn’t want to uproot my life. I love my partner very much, but I’m so tired of being yelled at and walls almost punched. I’m so tired of everyday being constant stress and looking over my shoulder. I’m so tired of walking on eggshells.
We decided to try and work things out at the end but I feel let down by all of my loved ones. My family told me not to call them with my issues anymore. I don’t feel like my maid of honor is my friend or my partner’s family is supportive of me.
Do I have a right to be upset? Everyone is either hating on my partner or hating on me it feels like, what kind of pride am I going to have in my relationship like that?
I’m tired of being told I’m the crazy one. And my whole world seems to be full of people who want me to feel that way. Thank you for any advice!

Hello, I'm looking for this old game i played on windows around 2007-2008. Its very similar to the game in the picture but with very low rez pixelated graphics [ left right navigation with limited horizontal movement] The characters are cubic, pixelated graphics and in coop you could pick from several characters including females ones ( all ugly looking) It was pretty fast paced ( close to hotline Miami ) Ennemy respawn on each location and i remember a junkyard and a boat location The general theme is dark and dirty and you could pick up weapons from dead ennemies I cant think of other details but ill try to answer any questions

Bit of background. Played around the 0.C experimentals, before 0.D... just before nested containers and I think it was being tried out at that point. So loads of changes since then I think.
Used to frequent this subreddit before too. Just messing around, trying to build a small town, hoarding everything, trying to kill and photograph everything, got around to 50-100k killed... looking back, that was six years ago. Man...
Anyway, just easing into game again. Made an easy run, strong stats, that sort of thing, to get a feel of the game again.
Haven't fully gotten into everything yet, haven't even found a lab and haven't run into anything new in terms of location. This is just one long rambling post by the way, so don't expect a coherent stream of thought.
Digging the ferals and panicked NPCs. Always enjoyed making a character into eating the forbidden fruit, so more supply is welcome.
Speaking of supplies, it does feel harder to keep track of things. Back then all I had to do was get a cart and used advanced inventory to pick and choose what I want. Now I make sure things get unloaded and stuff. Collecting currency has become a thing for me. I wants them.
Carts are another thing. Back then all I needed was Under the Hood and a few tools. Not to mention the speed of a loaded cart off road... Understandable, curbs me from looting too crazily, and I reckon I'll figure things out.
Weariness gives me more reason to slow down a bit, and actually use books to pass the time.
That's it for now. Still dipping my toes, and eventually I'll be doing a more difficult run once I get the hang of things.

My boyfriend who plays on Xbox One X (Xbox Cloud Gaming) has been able to play fine on our server up until the 8th, when he has not been able to play for longer than 5 minutes without crashing. Another friend and I play on PC Gamepass and do not have any issues. He crashes in singleplayer too with no mods, but he is able to get 40 minutes to an hour in singleplayer without mods and only 5 minutes max on the server. I've tried disabling mods but I feel like I shouldnt have to since they all worked prior and it works fine on PC gamepass. I wish the logs gave some kind of info on this so I could solve the issue more efficiently. At this point we just want it fixed. I've sunk many hours into tf2 on ps4, xbox, and now pc and now that the servers are up and running I'm curious about tf1 does anyone know the state of the game particularly multiplayer?
