Hi everyone , sorry if sometime what i say doesnt make sense im not native.
So my ex gf broke up with me 3 months ago Cause i did something wrong.
I had to go live with a friend and it was not that hard at the beginning but it has became reaaly hard during the time.
I did all the bad things ( begging , crying , even telling her i was about to end my life ) and she ended up blocking me on whatsapp and even changing her phone number.
So 1 and a half month ago is the last time i saw her and 3 weeks ago i decided to go live with my sister cause i wasnt able to handle the situation by myself anymore and she is my only family and she is the one who invited me to do so maybe cause she wanted to be here for me, it was hard cause she lives 800km from where i was living with my ex and in my head it was like losing the only last way to get her back but i still did it .
The thing is that my ex and my sister are really close and are talking to each other a lot and i noticed my ex would contact my sister a lot more when she knew i was here.
At the beginning i was happy to see that but at some point it started to make me feel really bad since my sister wasnt telling me nothing. I decided to tell my sister that this situation was hard to handle for me and asked her about my ex and she told that when they are on the phone she almost everytime ask questions about me but she told me that she didnt want to talk about this on both sides cause she didnt think it was a good thing to do for both of us. I didnt really understand but she also made me understand that she ll keep talking to her since they really like each other a lot , i was confused but couldnt really do anything.
My real question is for here, one week ago i noticed that my ex unblocked me on whatsapp but didnt reach so i was kinda happy at the beginning but the days were passing and seeing that she dont reach i was asking myself alot of questions.
Yesterday she finally send me a message so i waited 3 hours to open it and the message was only saying something like "Hi can you release the microsoft subscription im getting charged every and its already been 100€ so its annoying"
I really didnt understand cause she could have ask to my sister since she was on the phone with her literally 30 minutes before sznding me this but i felt like it was some kind of progress for me so i couldnt complain.
So i answered to her "hi , which subscription you talking about ?" I really didnt knew what she was talking about at the moment but i remember i t was the game pass for those who know , anyway , 30 minutes later i send her the screenshot of the termination and asked her "how do you want to receive the 100€" ( by that i meant which way of payment ) And to that she just answered "i dont want the 100€" so i didnt even respond cause it was the same as sending an ok and i felt like doing more would be consider doing too much.
After that i was talking with friends on the phone and around 1:30 AM she send me a text saying : "if you are at your sister place can you tell her to charge her phone and call me pls it's urgent"
So the first thing i thought was that the best thing to do was to not respond at this time since my sister was actually out with friends and i told myself that i would answer in the morning.
I know i might interpret things too much but its strange to say if you are at tour sister place since she should know i dont have any car or friends here and i dont really have a lot to do and i felt like the part saying it's urgent was to teigger me cause she already done things like that when we were together.
So i answered in the morning just saying "i was sleeping , she wasnt here last night" and she just reacted with a 👍🏼 To my message and at this point i dont really know how to interpret this even though it's been only positive things if i see it from where îm coming ( being pushed out , blocked , changed number )
I really want your thoughts on this all thing like advice and best ways to act to get her back in my life in the positive way please everyone and not things like "runaway , you shouldnt care,...." cause these kind of things can only come true with time.

I play ARAM to destress after work or taking breaks in the middle of projects and etc.. I feel like there's a good chance of me ending up more stressed than before I started. I quit ranked because of the toxicity.. I feel like ARAM is just as toxic now.. Had so many unpleasant teammates for the past few days and I think I will only play now when friends want to play together. No more solo games.. Or else I need to learn to ignore toxic comments because I always let it get to me and would be annoyed and stressed after when the game is supposed to be destressing for me. I never talk in game unless someone says something first. People would get mad for anything.. I get it, if im actually doing very bad, and someone says something, I usually dont feel as bad because I kind of deserved it.. But what annoys me the most is games people get mad at you and start trash talking for stupid reasons.. Like trying a different build, saying im trash when the whole team is losing and they are doing just as bad.. A lot of times, they would say something mean right before the game ends and leave the lobby instantly so you dont even have time to say anything back.

2024.06.09 10:14 Revolutionary-Face69 General rant about the game. Feel free to add yours.

  1. Mech high shield. Hate the changes they made to mech high shields. EMP shells do not disable them long enough in 1.5, you need multiple mortars to break through the high shield let alone to hit the problem causer. Who in ludeon thought it was a good idea to make the mech high shield stun reduced? previously in 1.4, 1 EMP shell would disable the high shield for about a day. Now the stun only works for several seconds. I had a mech cluster with EMI + high shield and holy cow if you did not have EMP shells you're a goner.
  2. Lung rot. Why in god's earth did ludeon introduce lung rot? It makes detoxifier lungs mandatory and if you don't have biotech you can't do anything about it in the base game. I get that they want us to "learn" that we shouldn't leave corpses out in the open but come on, it's annoying to deal with.
  3. Mechanoid slag chunk. As if things could not get worse in combat with stupid mechanoids dropping mechanoid slag chunks (equivalent to steel slag chunks) when they die, causing your pawns to be displaced in close range killbox setups or melee block setups. it also gives the mechs cover because the mechs that die drop the slag chunk giving cover to the mechs who would stand behind it. What a dumb change. Maybe they wanted to give us more steel but this is a dealbreaker for combat setups. It appears that long range killboxes are preferred simply because of this change.
  4. door open due to items. It sucks that doors remain open because of items or corpses being dropped in a door. Do we really have to create an emergency stockpile to haul that corpse out of the door? Remember that run you lost because of a trader dying in a door to your base?
  5. Collision. Centipedes stack in killbox entrances when stunned by EMP. Even with an unpowered turret causing collision, centipedes still stack on top of each other when stunned by EMP in the killbox mouth. Manhunters do not gain collision from unpowered turrets when trying to "path" to an area. Fix collision mechanics. Enemies should not be able to stack on top of each other when they are taking damage or in combat. I get the changes they made so far were to done to improve performance but it's silly that enemies can balloon out and push your colonists out of position (i'm talking about sightstealer waves)
  6. Give us some dedicated buildings to make killboxes better. I get that tynan hates killboxes but when late game raids are 200+ tribals, how else can you deal with them? I dislike the fact we use some "exploits" like putting barricades at the mouth to stop enemies from stopping to shoot at us and alternating barricades to slow raiders down. Just give us some buildings that allow us to improve killboxes instead of relying on these exploitative methods. Also hate the changes they made to bullets damaging walls. Walls seem to get alot more damage from extended fights.
  7. Friendlies. Friendlies should obey disallowed doors and you should at least be able to toggle whether you want friendlies or not. Remember those allies with molotovs in your base? Friendlies should also scale with colony wealth. It's not right for friendlies to cost 31 goodwill and only send like 10 guys on a max wealth colony.
I just want to say that Tynan really values this game being a "story generator" but you do not need to resort to insane methods to "make a good story". It seems like every change that has been made to the game is to make it harder (breach raid, sappers, lung rot) and thus Tynan's goal is to cause colonists to die so you can get a good "story". You do not need to cause deaths to make a good story. Deaths should be avoidable if you play your cards right but it seems its even harder now to survive in this game.
The meta seems to be no-killbox strategy or long range killboxes (heavy SMG, assault rifles etc) because of the changes made like lung rot, mechanoid slag chunks. Is this how they really want to go about it? In their effort to make killboxes obsolete, you merely encourage your playerbase to resort to long range weapons to kite and out-range enemies. I dislike the state of the game right now.

2024.06.09 10:14 Current-Capital-1372 My (28F) boyfriend (27M) lied to me and now I don’t know how to move forward. How do I go about this?

My boyfriend has been unemployed for 6 months and we’ve had several arguments about how he’s driving himself into debt and refusing to get a job.
He keeps saying he’s gonna get a job, he’s gonna show me he wants to build a future with me… well guess what: the entire last month every time I asked him if he had applied for jobs he would say yes but it wasn’t true. He showed me his phone today and he went an entire MONTH without applying for jobs.
We moved in together last month and I told him I wouldn’t move in with him unless he was proactively looking for a job. He told he was… so basically I moved in thinking that he was applying for jobs when it was a lie. I’m really a fool.
I want to break up with him because honestly I feel as if there’s no more trust in this relationship.
I feel manipulated, betrayed, hurt. I feel like he was my best friend and my family and he went behind my back and did this.
I feel like I’m being harsh but at the same time he saw my cry multiple times about how I was unhappy with his lack of ambition and job searching and he spent the last month telling me he was looking just so I’d stop crying. This went on for a MONTH even though I had weekly conversations with him about it.
I feel lost and lonely and I’m in a foreign county and I just don’t know where to go and what to do. I’m so blown away because he’s been so kind and loving to me and I would never think he would lie.
He was saying this entire time how no companies would hire him and how he felt frustrated when in reality he wasn’t even applying in the first place!!
I asked why he lied and he just shrugged his shoulders and said “idk”. He said he just broke the agreement we had about no lies in the relationship and no particular reason which hurts even more because he did this without any remorse or consideration for my feelings.
We had hours long arguments over this and honestly I’m just done with this. He did apply for multiple jobs today and yesterday but that’s because I was at home with him and asked to do it.
He just stares at me when I argue and cry and have mental breakdowns and when the argument is over he gets on the video games and I go to my room and cry.
I can’t even be near him now.
Is this salvageable? Is this the end? I feel so depressed.
TLDR; boyfriend lied about looking for jobs for a month and now I don’t think I can move forward with this relationship.

2024.06.09 10:12 Tetra_helix Trying out new builds, kinda lost.

So as a souls game enjoyer, i finished my first elden ring plauthrough a year ago and never got back to it. As i always do, i went for a strength build and had a lot of fun. However, i want to try a new build archetype for the upcoming DLC but i am quite lost. I want to be able to use spells or incantations, or make use of strong ashes of war. I also want to have room to experience the multiple weapons that will be added in the DLC. I always wanted to have a faith focused build, or one that focuses on casting spells, but i am simply lost on what to do. I have created a new prophet character and while i like the playstyle, i miss swinging a sword around. What kind of builds should i go for ?

My updated battlestation
My current battlestation in my PC gaming/spare bedroom. I call it my blue is soothing battlestation. I wish my phone's camera was better at accurately recording light. The color is off. Oh well. Almost every last LED is being run off of Corsair's ICUE. What isn't is the first neon rope above the mini fridge. Little lava lamp under the TV. G 815 keyboard. (How I got low profile fully backlit "pudding" keycaps for it here) G 502 X Plus mouse. Extended mousepad. Wall Hexigons. Wall lights above the black light Tool banner. All other LED including the 2 other lava lamps I modded LED rings into, the 2 desktop lamps under the portable AC. (Those had RGBW LED strips I yanked and replaced with ARGB strips.) As well as the 24v neon rope above the TV. If any are interested in how to get 12 and 24v products to work off of Corsair's 5v controllers, I did a write up here. lol I've made soooo many Corsair adapter cables which is actually fairly easy to do and drops the price to around only around a couple bucks per adapter. I'm happy with how things have turned out.

If any are wondering how I got Corsair controllers to run outside of the PC. All the PC controllable exterior to the PC lighting is ran off of 10 Corsair Lighting Node Pros. Their power is from an old 650W PSU from an old PC. It was too underpowered for this build so I figured I might as well put it to use. USB is ran to hubs and then to the back of the PC. lol It's suuuuuch a rat's nest down there but it's "managed" enough that you can't see anything unless to lean down there at least. Or at least it was. I have to clean up the back again. I cut a bunch of zip ties off when I recently moved the 2 lava lamps. The jumper needed to fool the PSU into thinking it's getting a case's power signal is ran to a switch I mounted on the desktop. So I don't have to reach down there to turn it off and on.

Among other well ranted things - scrolls / alchemy stones take forever to collect, the shop is lame, etc. - some of the resources (lumber, leather, and iron) are completely useless after all buildings have been built…
This makes the daily chore of farming resources (by stealing from other players - also stoopid) extra tedious because of the screen real estate consumed by the lumbermill, etc.
So much scrolling to get to buildings of interest.
So much tapping to figure out what resources I need.
So much tapping to visit / steal.
So many screens to navigate when trying to figure out what color scrolls a building requires for upgrade
More taps to check requirements for promote vs upgrade on each building.
Not to mention the two extra taps the estate introduced to get to your pet farm…
The carpal tunnel I’ve developed from playing the core game was bad enough without the 1,000 extra taps and swipes every day in estate…
All this said, unlike some of you I don’t hate the concept or mechanics of the estate… just the UX and tedium of it… my wrist and finger may fall off soon. Please optimize, Habby!!!

This was a short story I wrote from a post that got removed. In this story,one of the JSDF officers becomes good friends with one of the Special Region senators and invites him over to Japan to experience the culture with one of the trips being to a Japanese car meet. One night, they head over to Mt. Akina to experience the JDM scene, taking a ride in the Officer's Nissan Silvia S14. The senator becomes fascinated by the amount of personal vehicles and modifications done. As they are heading home, the officer spots what appears to be a black and white car drifting around the corners. The officer drops down from 4th to 3rd gear and speeds up to race the white hatchback.
The senator stares at his friend with a confused gaze. The white carriage the the officer had called the "eight-six" wasn't as sleek or flashy as the other machines he had seen earlier so what made the man eager to catch up to it? The senator put his thoughts aside as he reached for the door handle and held on tight as the officer was about the reach a sharp corner. The man let off the gas and pressed the clutch brake pedal, he then downshifted from 3rd to 2nd gear before releasing the clutch as he swung the wheel in the direction of the curve and mashed on the gas pedal for a bit. The S14 slid around the corner and gunned its way towards the eight-six, this pursuit lasted for about 15 minutes with the officer repeating the same process over and over again until he eventually caught up and passed the little white car.
The senator, though nauseous and scared shitless, managed to catch a glimpse of the driver of the so called eight-six. It was a young man who appeared to be in his late teens, relatively about the same age as most of the empire's soldiers. The boy had a expressionless look on his face, almost like he was unimpressed by the officer's driving. As for the senator it was the opposite, how could someone that young have so much skill compared to someone like his friend who appeared to be reaching his 30s?
Though they had the lead, their victory didn't last long as they reached a long hairpin turn. The S14 took the turn and gunned it down a straightaway having appeared to have lost the white car. The senator relaxed for a bit, relieved that the race was over and sat up in his chair. But then he heard something right next to him, a loud throaty rhythmic noise. It didn't sound like the magic box within his friend's carriage and appeared to be on the right side where he was. He craned his neck to see a dark shadow right next to him. It was the eight-six!
The senator lept back in suprise as the small beast re-opened it's eyes and blasted light down the road way. The shock also extended towards the officer who attempted to lose the little white carriage in an upcoming right turn. But the eight-six changed position and placed it's two right front and rear wheels onto a nearby gutter close to the edge of the road, overtaking them. A sharp left turn appeared right in front of them and the eight-six gunned it much to the surprise of both men. The s14 cut speed and tried to drift the corner when the officer lost control and nearly spun out. However the white carriage swerved to the right opposite of the upcoming curve and then back to the left in the direction of the left turn and make a clean escape, disappearing into the darkness once more.
The senator got out of the car, nearly puking from the experience. The officer just sat there in bewilderment. Once the senator was feeling better, he got back inside and the two officially decided to head back.
"By the gods!" the senator muttered. "What in the name of Emroy was that?"
The officer glanced at his friend and then focused his attention back to road.
"A living legend..." he said.

Guangzhou will invest more than 10 billion yuan ($1.4 billion) by 2027 in the "low-altitude economy". The nascent sector includes both piloted and autonomous civilian aircraft that fly at altitudes up to 3,000 meters, versus around 10,000 meters for commercial jetliners. The money for Guangzhou's plan will go toward building infrastructure for flying vehicles, such as airborne taxis, including over 100 takeoff and landing points.
Nasdaq-listed EHang was granted a production certificate to mass produce its vehicles in April. Ehang said it hopes to partner with hotels and other businesses to commercialize tourism services, noting that it has already received inquiries from the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Previously, EHang was granted the type certificate and standard airworthiness certificate -- two prerequisites for commercial operation that certify a particular model and individual aircraft.

2024.06.09 10:07 TahaSammour So mouse is freezing half way during side to side movement and W suddenly stops responding. Double checked same problem in CS2.

So out of nowhere this started happening yesterday. Mouse freezes halfway through side to side movement and W stops responding that I need to reclick it. It is not only in pubg but also in CS. I uninstalled USB driver and scanned for hardware changes. Nothing. Im using a Roccat Kova mouse and Hyper X Alloy FPS Pro. I am using Windows 11 Home 22361 Build, PC Legion i7 14700KF and Geforce 4060 Ti. Games are unplayable. I was trying to figure out why my game takes forever to reconnect after a match I logged into my router but did no changes inside. I checked game files integrity. Then, steam updated its framework redistributable package.

Hi, I'm Daniel, a professional AA game developer. For a while now, I have been dedicating my free time to developing this god-like simulator city-builder inspired by Black & White, a series I have always loved since my childhood. I have always dreamed of a continuation of the series, which unfortunately never came, and I want to use my skills to create something that brings back those feelings but still manages to stand out from that masterpiece. Deity's Domain aims to be something new, building on the foundation of what inspired me.

In "Deity's Domain," you'll step into the role of a fledgling Roman deity learning to manage your people. You'll need to compete with other gods to get noticed and ascend to the top of Olympus.
With your Creature by your side, you'll teach it how to navigate the world. As your earthly embodiment, you'll need to nurture and care for it, transforming it into your greatest asset.
Cast miracles of all kinds to defend against rival deities, attack them, or simply enhance your capital and expand your greatness. Every action and choice you make will have consequences for you and your people. Your appearance will reflect your actions: behave as a benevolent deity and you'll shine with divine light, but commit evil deeds and exploit your citizens, and you'll become skeletal with a demonic hand.
The pace of the game will be divided into several phases, giving you time to build, manage your citizens, and raise your Creature. Prepare for the battle between the deities to also win the faith of the citizens of other islands. Send emissaries to profess your faith or unleash plagues and disasters; the important thing is that they pray to you for your benevolence or to be spared. You must do the same: uncover enemy emissaries and prepare to defend yourself against enemy oppression!
Mortals will be born, live, and die under your watchful eye, as you guide them from beginning to end. Lead your future capital to glory and outshine all other deities on the path to greatness!

Good evening
I have started buying pieces to make my first PC but im having trouble deciding on a graphics card, im trying to build it in order for it to be good for gaming for at least the next 5 years but i'm stuck on this part, the kind of games I'm looking to play are bauldurs gate 3, persona 5 and 3, elden ring, final fantasy XV, king of fighters XV and things like that.
This are the parts i have currently bought, but if im missing something else please let me know, any help will be appreciated

2024.06.09 10:05 Captain_Howdy13 Fallout 4 PS5 Crashing

I've been playing the PS5 version for weeks now with very minimal issues. I have all addons and do not use mods.
The issue I'm having is taking over raider settlements. I played through the game and did Nuka World first before meeting Preston.
I have completed open season and I'm now going back through all my previous raider outposts and taking them back as standard settlements. But everytime I go to one and start fighting the raiders there the game crashes. This happens if I fast travel there or walk there from another part of the map. I've managed to take a couple back by staying right at the edge of the settlement and drawing the raiders out to me but even this method crashes.
Once I get the settlement back I try to avoid building right away as that can cause a crash but after a while of me doing other things I seem to be able to go back and set the settlement up like normal.
Is anyone else having this issue?

Up until now I’ve been kinda feeling better, but as I still go to new places that dejavu feeling still creeps up my back like goosebumps and it’s slowly getting worse again.
I just almost had another panic attack or dejavu like episode, it was slowly building up and I hope I was just overthinking it when things in my room started to feel off. Like how things are placed in a specific way, I share a room with my boyfriend so our stuff is mixed together.
Then when I felt myself finally falling asleep my heart decided to start racing and I couldn’t keep my eyes closed because all I felt was the dejavu and that doom feeling that something is still wrong. My thoughts get filled with scenarios like I’m I gonna die tonight? Do I need to go to the hospital? Do I try to lay there and fight it? No matter what I do feels like a choice I already made and I’m just confused how I always end up back here. I just feel crazy. But I let my boyfriend know and I come straight here to write this just in case, it kind of helps but then now those thoughts are back again. My brain won’t let me forget, that gut feeling that I’m dying soon won’t go away. I’m starting to get scared falling asleep again, and it doesn’t help that I stay up to avoid sleeping at night. I feel guilty because I already got help in different ways and I can’t keep up with my meds because of my messed up schedule I did to myself. So it gives me more guilt and reason to blame myself because I’m not consistent. I just want to feel normal again, back before I felt this shit. I wish I never had to take meds, or worry about getting this scary feeling randomly when I think I’m better. I have a job now and huge plans for October I’m excited for, I want to be excited for it. But now I’m scared again that I’m not going to make it. And when nothing happens and I wake up fine tomorrow, then why was I freaking out in the first place? Why won’t this shit just stay gone. What did I do wrong.
