I don't get it.
Sony attempts to force the PC player base of HD2 to to link their PSN account to Steam or make one if they don't have one.
This is bad because the majority of countries the game is sold in on Steam can't make a PSN account and will be blocked from playing a game they paid for.
The player base fights back and makes HD2 the worst reviewed game on Steam.
Sony decides not to go ahead with the PSN linking requirement on Steam.
BUT THEN.
They pull it from sale in all the countries that can't make a PSN account.

Looking to play games such as Ark: Survival Ascended, Warzone/MW3, Valorant, CS2, modded Skyrim, ESO, Eve Online, Starfield in 1440p on high settings on a 144hz monitor. Occasionally 4k. I know ARK would probably underperform, but I’m ok with that, hopefully they optimize sooner or later, but that’s the game I’m probably going to play the most.
I’d love to be able to do this while streaming in 1440p off the same rig at the same time, and being able to edit videos in 1440p/4k. No super complex edits, I’m new to editing, but learning.
I put the 7800x3D because I want the build to be future proof with AM5, but if I have to go Intel for more cores in order to stream/edit, I’ll grit my teeth and do it. Also I don’t really want to sacrifice gaming performance for more productivity power, since I’m not doing any 3D modeling or professional editing that needs to be rendered lightning fast. What’s the most a 7800x3D would handle productivity-wise before I’m screaming at it to hurry up?
I put an Nvidia GPU since I heard they’re better for streaming, and DLSS works great. 4070ti Super specifically because that’s the absolute most I’m willing to pay for a GPU right now. Is it overkill or just right?

My friend and I have been friends since high school and have been playing videogames online through Discord for 5 years now. We play 4-5 times a week with other friends, and often more whenever any of us has free time. We also meet and have fun outside of videogames but perhaps once per two months, we are all introverts.
My problem is that lately (1year-ish) that friend has been avoiding me. Every time it is only the two of us on discord (other ppl went to eat/sleep), he will barely talk or even stop playing completely. He acts completely normally when we are in a group but being alone with me seems to be un-fun to him. At least, I feel that he is not having fun with me. Recently, if I show up online early, he will *discretely* go idle or offline or he will start playing a solo player game until other friends arrive.
I thought it was because I was too intense while gaming, I try-hard every game and sometimes it can be annoying to people who sometimes do a worse play for fun. For the last year, I tried to embrace his playstyle and only play for fun, placing winning as the last goal. He still avoids me.
I don't want to steal his time with his girlfriend nor spend all my time with him. I can understand not wanting to play a certain game and/or going for solo games instead. But it truly feels that the problem is not the timing, the choice of game or my attitude, it simply is me. Are we just not that good of friends anymore ? To me, it feels one sided but maybe to him, I am simply impossible to play with.

I (f,43) met a lovely fellow online (38) on a friendship app. We switched to a texting platform and talk sporadically. We have never met irl and live very far apart.
Approx 2 months ago we started messaging regularly, but he is a parade of red flags : avoidant, ptsd (veteran AND wife cheated & left), uses sarcasm more than I'd like (which makes texting convos difficult) and self-professed unempathetic, temperamental and neurodivergent.
I'm no picnic myself, with : depression, anxiety, anxious attachment and overly empathetic. All things considered, I like him as a human and very much want the best for him. I also believe we both find each other physically attractive. However, I think he is incapable of wanting the best for me, which leads to other inconsistencies, such as texting / communicating (which is so challenging with him), a constant push-pull as he avoids me / disappears, seems sarcastic to push me away, then sweet (for him) as he kind of "pulls" me back in.
I put time & space between us. He contacted the very week was geographically relocating. We rekindled a bit and I asked if he wanted my new ph # (answering direct Qs.... Another one of his more avoidant areas). He said nothing and a few days later, he texted. I wished him a good summer and said goodbye. He asked why I was going NC and I said bc of new ph #. He then took my number and said I should "push my way in". I literally hadn't even fully asked the words "are you sure?" And he said "yes". I told him he would regret it (as I like to text) and he told me he doesn't regret things.
He texted a few days later so I verified this, asking againif he still wanted me to "push my way into his DMs". After ignoring the Q and forcing me to repeat it, he confirned Yes. I've messaged him "good night" twice and got back the hugest smiley face from him, so I know the bit I've given so far, has been well-received, but I'm still holding back.
He is a self-proclaimed avoidant and a dude, so I've always tried to be considerate of his time and need to be alone. I told him it works both ways and he could text me too, but, big surprise, mostly crickets.
Here's the problem : his messages are sarcastic, they feel designed to push me away, they're only a few words long...... ALL the things that scream "he's not that into you". Ultimately, I'm texting him more bc he's asked me to, but to what end? If he is going to continue to be kind of rude, I don't want to stay his friend. If he is so anti-social that he just needs to interact with me for practice with other women, then I'll step up my game. I replied a comment on another post slightly related to this, but the OP suggested that I post new.
I was an OG player of 76 at release, seeing all iterations of the game until not long before the Union release came out, (was it expeditions?) I went through some big life changes around that time and not having the free time to play, I ended up never returning... I realise now just how addicted I was and how I barely even wanted to play after a short period of detox. So much of my life went missing lol.
Anyways, to the point. The new TV series brought back a ton of nostalgia and I've just went online again this week. Just noticed tonight that my two prized possessions, my two BE25 fixers, now only show as 2 star and neither have the explosive 2nd star on them.
The post I replied on was from around a month ago where people were having visual glitches with their fixer showing 2 stars, or even 1 star on certain screens. But both of my fixers show 2 stars on all screens and, when firing in game do not have explosive rounds.
This applies to both my fixer that I rolled with my orange Halloween paint on it, which I can't remember the name of now, and the other that I traded for. (Which was for a good few legacies before all the legacy nerfs etc.)
Was there also a nerf on the fixers, removing explosive from them too? I thought it was only energy weapons that were to be cut?
All of my other ballistic weapons still have explosive, like 50 cal, heavy machine gun etc, but I don't have any other explosive rifles like the handmade or assault rifle to compare to.
Can anyone shed any light on this at all?

I noticed that I think more slowly now. I'm 8 months sober, but activities that require rapid decision making or quick reflexes are more difficult than they ever were when I was drinking. This is most apparent to me when I play chess online. I can't play high speed games as well as I used to. Is there a way to fix this? Or is time the only solution?

2024.05.15 03:14 wensen Nintendo 64 Cartridge Slot Loose Troubleshooting / Games freezing
Basically, the games fail to boot and when they do if the cartridge moves at all, (or the console) the game freezes, if you tap the cartridge slightly it will freeze making me believe it's a cartridge slot/pin problem on the console as I've tried it with multiple games.
I've given the console (and cartridges) a deep clean with 99% ipa by stripping down the console and cleaning the cartridge pin slot (pulled it up and everything) and any contacts. I've done every trick I could find online. There doesn't appear to be any corrosion or anything like that, at least not anything severe. I believe the sheathing/metal cover on the cartridge slot is loose causing the pins to have poor contact but can't find any video/tutorial on how to remove this sheathing/cover to get at the pins better or how to tighten the pins.
How do I re-tighten the pins in the cartridge slot to make better contact or find a new 48 pin connector to replace it? What are some other troubleshooting I can do to better diagnose the problem? If it changes anything the console is the blue Pikachu version.

okay so today was a weird day....it all started when my friend dmed me saying am i hacked and i was confused of course and then he told me to check instagram, saying i posted something and sure enough there was a post about some fake scam type thing made to look it was posted by elon musk on twitter💀 anyways i quickly deleted that and forgot to mention it was posted on my story too and well i freaked out because someome was in my account posting scams. Anyways then i checked facebook someone deleted my email adress and deactivated my account managed to get it back easily tho and then i checked my steam account only to find out the 7 euros i had in my steam wallet were spent on some random dota 2 item now i wasnt mad about the money from the wallet missing but the fact someone had access to all my social media to be fair i do download cracked games and stuff and this did happen after i tried downloading one game well a few days after atleast...anyways after that i changed all my passwords set up all kinds of security verifications and its been good now and yeah i forgot to mention whoever did this managed go get past the steam guard and no i did not log in my steam account on any sketchy sites...i know this is a lot but im just looking for advice because now im scared of buying anything online and yeah thats is

My ASUS TUF FX504 is finally getting retired after many years of loyal service. I'm shopping for new laptops on amazon and found these ones below. Im trying to compare them online, but each site Ive tried has various issues, such as not having the options shown on the amazon listing.
My only requirements are 64gb ram, at least 1+TB storage, and an intel i7/i9 or ryzen7/9 processor for speed, (id prefer the higher numbers, but will settle for lower if it's a good deal. Preferably under $2,000.
I don't game like I used to, so if it runs Diablo 2 Resurrected, then I'm happy, lol 😂 I already have a gaming pc anyway. My laptop is mostly for art and video entertainment.
I am a graphic artist (mostly 2D stuff like comics) with an addiction to multitasking - I normally have photoshop open while alt-tabbing to chrome for hours at a time, and I get pissed when my computer locks up from it! I need a beast that shrugs multitasking off like it's nothing.
Otherwise my laptop is used for streaming hd tv and movies. Nothing too fancy.
These are what I've found so far. Which do you think fits my preferences best? I'm also trying to factor the best deal - I'll trade raw performance over overpriced gimmicks any day. Do you have any recommendations of your own?

 | I've been testing out some of the items on the PBE since the release and I was optimistic at first, but it appears that gp lost build diversity in items based on what's good and if you're going 100% crit. One parts are fixed as well if you haven't caught the news and will release next patch. My aim is to help you guys out in the next split. This is the first guide I've made for League, I welcome feedback and questions. I can provide more context if needed. submitted by VeterinarianIll1917 to gangplankmains [link] [comments] Runes: Inspiration: Changes look mostly fine, futures market will be missed though for early sheen purchases. Keystone: First strike should be an obvious choice for your keystone. 1st slot: Footwear is fine if you don't need to take boots early, otherwise cashback is going to be the default. They're both "meh" runes as the most gold you can gain from cashback is 204 on ie purchase. So try to back with a little extra gold to pick up a component with it. 2nd slot: BIS for 2nd slot is biscuits. The sustain from biscuits will allow you to play more agro in lane and you can take more trades. Timewarp's extra health on pots isn't nearly as valuable, just don't take this rune. Triple tonic is more niche. If you're used to this rune you can still take it, just play more conservatively with mana. 3rd slot: BIS for 3rd slot is cosmic. On a standard crit build you will have around 7 or 8 individual stats on items meaning we will not be able to make full use out of jack of all trades. Approach velocity has it's arguments as gp has good slows and likes to get into melee for a passive proc, but cosmic in general is better. Cosmic will wiggle in more sheen procs in your combos and the low cds on sums is strong for gp who is reliant on flash for an escape. Precision: We have more options in precision next split, cutdown changes are big for us. Keystone: I haven't done enough testing with pta yet, but I don't think it's viable. Conq works only with a bruiser build, it could be our answer to tanks with the cutdown changes and our lack in lifesteal. Fleet's healing ate a nerf but it's k. Fleet is the default keystone in precision for now and overall gps safest rune to blind. 1st slot: Absorb life is hype! Synergizes perfectly with gp. The healing from this rune will be on par with fleet throughout the game. Take this rune if you're not concerned with mana. Presence of mind enables you to be more liberal with your q and w. Triumph is the worst of the 3. You won't be able to make frequent use of it throughout the game and we have better options for sustain. 2nd slot: Haste is the best. We build tri now, so we don't need the extra attack speed from alacrity. Blood line is viable, but it doesn't come online until after lane. Mostly an invisible rune. 3rd slot: I recommend last stand. You gain the most dmg amp with this rune and it's strong for early fights. Cut down would be better if it was enough to one shot squishy targets. Still useful early game to get an hp lead and zone the enemy toplaner off farm. Coup de grace has synergy with your r and collector. Resolve: Resolve looks the same as last season, some notes on grasp though. Keystone: While I understand that I may lose some of you here, grasp isn't that bad and hasn't been that bad. I frequently run grasp, win lane, and win game with it. We lost corrupting pot, so it's a bit harder to stay in combat to charge it's proc. The dps is better now though as we get health on trinity. Furthermore, we don't have to worry about giant slayer passive anymore for our dps. You can build health again on gp freely. 1st slot: Demolish every time. You're only running this if you're going grasp though. If you're running resolve secondary, the other two slots have better options as gp excels at killing towers naturally. 2nd slot: Match up specific. Bone plating is better if you're hugging barrels throughout lane. If you're against someone who can proc it easily, take second wind. Rumble, and Teemo are good examples to take second wind. Darius and Riven are good examples to take boneplating. Keep in mind that the fleet page is strong into range. Sometimes better off just hitting them harder or out-sustaining, than trying to build defensively. Vayne is an example where fleet is better and ignore resolve completely. 3rd slot: Overgrowth is BIS. Revitalize doesn't do much for gp, not very noticeable. Unflinching is op into certain champions. I take unflinching into Riven, and Aatrox. Maybe Kennen, but I haven't played against to many Kennens in general. Domination: Mostly a secondary page 1st slot: Taste of blood out-performs cheap shot and is easier to proc. You can only proc sudden impact on flash, don't take it. 3rd slot: The entire point of taking the domination page on ad gp is to snowball with treasure hunter and your already dummy strong gold gen. Really strong for smurfing, but isn't the safest option. Don't take this into hard match ups or if you're new to gp. Ultimate hunter is good for ap gp or macro play. I've used this style in tournaments where I get forced weakside and played passively through lane. Consider this style in a 5 man comp, not for solo q. It's not good for personally carrying the game. Sorcery: Another secondary page 1st slot: If you're really struggling with gps mana pool early, mana flow band is the nail in the coffin for you. It's not the best option for gp, but can help with newer players. Obsolete with essence. 2nd slot: All 3 of these runes are useful. Combining legend haste with transcendence gives you 25 ability haste on your basic abilities when fully stacked. Transcendence is worth considering. Absolute focus is pretty straight forward, more ad on gp is never a bad thing. Combines well with gathering storm for a strong mid-late game. Celerity is weird rune to see on gp but you can run it. Celerity gives some extra help for spacing, enables you to sell boots in the late game, makes your passive ms and raise morale ms stronger. It's worth a try, but the other two options fit better into your builds. 3rd slot: Gathering storm is BIS. Scorch is better in the early game. If you can't build a lead with it, don't run it. Shards: Go attack speed, adaptive force, flat health. The attack speed makes your lvl 1 cheese better, cs better and helps your early barrel output. The 10% attack speed is better earlier than legend alacrity (3-18%) in the precision tree. By the time you stack alacrity, you should already have trinity completed which gives you more than enough attack speed. If you proc first strike, it's safe to walk up and hit them with as much dmg as you can. Boneplating will soak up their dps as they retaliate. Try to use boneplating aggressively. You can climb on this page, but it's boring and risky. You're taking magical footwear as you gain free boots and you gain them sooner on kills. You should be looking to use r on your teammates plays to get boots faster and to proc treasure hunter. Otherwise you're farming. Poke when fs is up. You can take all ins once you've established a lead. This page is a gamble in low elo. If you get camped, you're screwed. If any of your teammates are inting before you get a lead, you're screwed. The gold gen on this page isn't enough to contend with the 10/1 Draven. You should look to get fed in lane if you can. These runes do not support early game trading well. When this page works out though, the enemy team will ff as you gain a massive lead for playing with your feet all game. Items: What we've all been waiting for! Build order is highly dependent on what you need. Keep in mind that the new crit items give 25% crit. Cloak stacking isn't very good anymore and you're better off just finishing your items for this reason. Cull is still fine in passive lanes. ASS: Shieldbow, Yun Tal Wildarrows. Shieldbow's lifesteal was removed. The shield on it is pathetic. This item doesn't do much for us anymore. Go resolve. Yun Tal Wildarrows is the new ad crit item that applies a dot on our crits. So first you need high crit chance to make good use out of this item. 2nd the dot has 35% total ad scaling on it. The damage on the dot is lacking for a singular proc. 3rd the dot doesn't proc on barrels. This item is only good if you can keep applying the dot and GP can't. It's better on yas, yone, and tryn. 1st slot: Trinity force is the best option in all builds besides full ap. No better option. I've tried going sheen into crit to see if it's a better spike, it's not. Go tri force next split 1st item. 2nd slot: Essence Reaver, Collector, LDMortal or Shojin. Essence Reaver is going to be best in slot 2nd for most builds. Your mana issues are solved with this item and the stats gp wants are all in this item. You're going collector 2nd if you can skip Essence Reaver. If you're fine on mana and haste, collector is better the sooner you get it. The lethality is better early game when champions are lower leveled and you don't make much use of the 25 gold on kills late game. Way better item for snowballing than Essence Reaver. LDR or Mortal reminder depending on if you need grievous. We go pen 2nd item into a tank top and tank jg. Overkill if there is only 1 tank. Shojin is better when you're behind and you're going to struggle getting your items. The haste, dmg amp, and health will make your dps consistent and will make you more survivable. Shojin sucks going 2nd as gp scales heavily with crit and this pushes back your spike. Again it's only good from behind. 3rd slot: Infinity Edge, LDMortal or Collector. Infinity Edge is best built as your 2nd crit item. IE is more valuable with more crit. Infinity Edge offers nothing, but it's ad when you don't crit. We build CollectoLDMortal here if you built shojin 2nd for the reasoning of Infinity edge. 4th slot: Collector, LDMortal, Essence Reaver or Infinity Edge Depends on what you've built already. If you skipped ER in the 2nd slot, you can build it again here. This is the last point in which you should get collector. 5th slot: LDMortal, Shojin. At this point you're deciding if you're going to sell boots or not. If you are, pick up shojin now. GP loves damage amp and it's going to be scarce for us next season. 6th slot: Navori. Navori gives attack speed, movement speed, and crit now. It's a viable option for selling boots and opening your build up to another non crit option other than trinity. Combined with your high haste from your other items and runes, you will have infinite barrels.
