2024.06.09 21:36 Several-Activity-106 My (25F) ex boyfriend (24M) is spreading lies about me cheating on him with my BFF (25M), should i confront him?

So, pretty much as the title states. I was with my now ex-bf, J, for a year and a half and we were friends for a couple of months before that. I've known my bff we'll call him P, for about 2 and a half years. For context we all met on a soccer team where we played together, so I met P first then on the next season I met J. Important to note: P was in a relationship for about 6 years? they broke up around late September bc she was manipulative and cheated on him
My relationship with J was easy at first and then it got harder and harder and I was the only one who kept making an effort to fix things, so last year before Christmas I broke up with him. This was not an easy decision and it did not come out of the blue. I had tried repeatedly to get him to cooperate, to see how he was hurting me and in return I was hurting him, we talked and cried for hours, he begged and said he understood my point AND that he knew he was hurting me but didn't know why he kept doing it and in the end I stood by my decision to just break up. He suggested a break, but I said it was a break up, I thought i had made this clear, until a cpuple of weeks later after a game he asked to talk and he basically begged to not break up and I asserted my decision and that was that. We had 2 games left, saw each other at both, he was very rude to me at the last one but I did not think much of it.
After our breakup I started hanging out with P a lot, we were both single, lonely and still were friends so things developed from there and on late January he asked me out and I said why not? So we've been together since then and I've had people come up to me and ask me what happened between me and J? and I've been clear that it just wasn't working out and that's that. No details whatsoever.
J has been telling people that I cheated on him THE WHOLE RELATIONSHIP with P, I was flabbergasted and pissed tf off. I'd heard rumors, but it was just a couple of people that I wasn't sure if I could trust, until yesterday when I got confirmation from someone close to me and I snapped. I waited until the anger was gone but now I want to text him and set things straight and warn him to stop or else I'll take matters into my own hands (I'm kind of known for going nuclear) bc this has been about 10+ people talking about me and leaving me with a cheater reputation and that's not okay with me.
I've been alienated by so many so-called friends this past couple of months and now I know why. I've been as kind and understanding as I can but this is my breaking point.

Previous part: 8.99.

One thing that I'm not getting here is why Vanessa is even a part of Vanny or Glitchtrap's situation since Double-V is true. When I originally thought up Double-V, I was originally thinking that Vanessa and Vanny were two different people and/or were sharing the role of "Vanny".
It's just one of them was more willing than the other to be a part of Glitcthtrap's machinations than the other. I didn't put too much thought into it, but it was something I wanted to look for until that Security Team revelation came about.
But now I'm left with this puzzle piece called Vanessa that I'm not quite sure what to do with now that I know that Vanny is an entirely separate person from her.
She has to be involved with Vanny and Gltichtrap somehow. Maybe the therapy tapes will help.

CD 1-Therapist: — but a routine check of your online history has revealed that you spend quite a bit of time with someone in an encrypted conversation. We have transcripts, and I’ve read them, but it’s not clear what you’re talking about in these conversations. I can’t make sense of it. You must be getting something from these that I’m not getting. Right? Who are you talking to in these?

These are all things that would've pointed toward Glitchtrap if I didn't know better. So it's someone else doing this? Why and why her?

CD 5-Therapist: — Apparently, the IT department has put together a pretty lengthy report chronicling non-job-related communications that have been coming to your computer. — what bothers me about what I read is that the messages you're getting seem very manipulative in nature. —You know who I'm talking about. What you might not know is that this person who's been sending you messages has been hacking into your personal files too.
CD 5-Vanessa: Lots of people know more than I do. Sometimes I need to listen.

So Vanessa knows who's doing this to her. But she's been refusing to listen to them before and is now being worn down by the spamming messages sent to her. But the fact that she doesn't react to the news that they are digging into her personal life is very concerning!
Also, after going through Vanny's secret dialogue in Help Wanted, Vanessa's overall demeanor in both Security Breach and the Retro Cds clashes hard with Vanny's in both games. Where Vanny sounds and reads eager and nervous, Vanessa is defiant and reluctant with depressed undertones.
Is Vanessa really infected with Glitchtrap?
Yet now that I'm thinking about it, Glitchtrap has no need to do this as him sitting through Vanessa's therapy session with her would give him this info if she was infected. Who's ever doing this doesn't much about her, but would very much like to. Is it Vanny or Gregory...
Wait, hold on. Vanessa's first therapist mentioned that messages were encrypted and couldn't make out what the conversation was about. But the second therapist can understand these messages to know that they're manipulative in nature. Are these two different messengers?!
" I’ve read them, but it’s not clear what you’re talking about in these conversations**.** I can’t make sense of it. You must be getting something from these that I’m not getting." - The first Therapist

What changed? Hmm... What exactly is an encrypted conversation? Maybe explaining that will help.
Encrypted text messaging is a method of secure communication that converts your messages into code. This means that only the recipient with the correct decryption key can read it. - Google
That sounds like what the first Therapist is referring to, but she mentions that they got the transcripts for it. Does that mean that got the code or the decryption key to read it? No, she says transcripts, which means the code itself.
But whatever the first Therapist saw in that transcript was legible enough to read and comprehend. This means the conversation wasn't in computer coding that would require someone in the tech field to decipher it, but just ordinary talk that's hard to understand what it's about.
Okay, that clears things up, they're still the same messenger.

CD 11-Therapist: So, on your breaks, it looks like you were shopping for a costume. you purchased some fake fur material.
CD 11- Vanessa: I can't talk about this. He said he would always be watching. He could be here or there or anywhere in between.
CD 11-Therapist: No, that's not what I mean. You can't just ignore an issue. You have to face your memory of the experiences and process them so you can let it go. So you don't get triggered anymore. you can use this sort of self-dialogue to release these things
CD 11-Vanessa: I don't like doing that.

This one conversation right here throws everything about Double-V out of whack. Why is Vanessa buying fake fur material? And for the very first time, we know the gender of who's messaging her along that he said that he would always be watching her.
Again the "he" here, and the "he will always be watching" part allude to Glitchtrap at first glance. And again, it can't be him because he should be within Vanessa since they merged in Help Wanted! Even if you dismissed the ending I proposed for Vanny and went with the ending where she gets locked up by Glitchtrap, it still wouldn't be him messaging her about watching here because he would be in her body!
And like I already said before, Vanessa has shown no memory problems or bodily control problems, which would've suggested Glitchtrap's control. No, this means that Gregory is doing all of this.
But why is he going after Vanessa? Geez, It's been a while since I even thought about his past before Security Breach. I forgot how much of a black hole of questions he is, regarding the lore. I'll give my updated thoughts about him after the Double-V revelation later.
For now, after going through all of Gregory's dialogue in Security Breach. It looks like he's not quite aware of the ongoings within the Pizzaplex and is shocked by the level of security can employ later in the night. There may actually be a hint of his hacker background in his dialogue if you squint. And Gregory has absolutely no idea what the rabbit laddy's name is until he gets to Fazerblast.
As for Gregory's involvement with Vanessa... Huh, that's weird. Gregory doesn't say Vanessa's name even once in Security Breach. Matter of fact, after the beginning sequence where Vanessa confronts Freddy about him, Gregory just stops talking about or even mentioning her for the rest of the game. This includes the confrontation that leads to her locking him up in Lost and Found and after it...
No matter how you slice it, Gregory's silence about her is super loud with alarm bells. Sure, he dismisses her as working with Vanny in the beginning, but it shouldn't mean that she should be an afterthought to him! Like, Gregory only talks about or mentions "the rabbit lady" after the beginning of the game.
In fact, if we were to rank every important character that Gregory talks about or mentions in his dialogue for Security Breach from most to least, it would look like this.

Freddy - 33 times
Vanny - 6 times
Chica - 6 times
Roxy - 4 times
Monty - 3 times
Moon - 3 times
Vanessa - 3 times
Burntrap - 1 time

That's absurd! Especially since she's the only other human worker in the Pizzaplex, besides Vanny, who encounters and confronts him. Like, he doesn't even try to communicate with her at all during the entire game!
Even when discovering Vanny's hideout in Fazerblast and Freddy suggests that Vanny is Vanessa due to deduceing Vanny's name being a combination of Vanessa + Bunny, Gregory remains silent about it! No, "Oh maybe you're right." or "That sounds too simple to be right", but instead there's no response to what might be the identity of your pursuer!
It's like he doesn't want to talk about her...
He knows her, he has to know Vanessa! Yet, he said, "I don't know who she is, but she's trying to get me!" to Freddy. Is he lying? No, he just knows about her.

CD 14-Therapist: —They report that they've caught you on camera, or at least it appears to be you. — Well the techs are convinced that you've hacked into their system many times. — the electronics you like? I saw in your file that you have developed software programs that talk to you and repeat phrases, right? The program asks you questions and prompts you for responses. It's kind of like your own self therapy, isn't it? Another way of talking to yourself to work things out, right? When I saw some of your recent encrypted conversation logs, that's what I thought I was looking at. It felt like I was watching someone go back and forth in their own head, but the text found something that's different than that. When I read what they found, at first I thought I was looking at more examples of you just talking with yourself. Then I realized it was different. When I study this, it sounds like there is someone else responding to you. Who is it?

This is either hinting towards Gregory talking directly to Vanessa or Glitchtrap. But something that confuses me is why the therapist has or even be able to see Gregory's encrypted conversation logs?
I'll admit that I'm ignorant about therapy, but should your therapist have access to stuff you created outside of therapy? Unless Gregory created the program on a computer in therapy. It could explain how he's gotten access to Vanessa's files. But I'll drop that talk for now.
Something that's being made clear to me now is that Vanessa is not as connected to the villains as Gregory is, as she's more surprised by the changing of therapist than he is. In fact, Gregory knows why the therapists are disappearing, knows exactly when the therapists do something that would cause them to disappear, and doesn't seem upset when they show up mangled and dead.
But more than anything, Gregory knew Vanny long before Security Breach started. There's no reason why Gregory would know Vanny has enough control over the Pizzaplex to cut off Freddy from the network, in just one encounter. If anything, he should have assumed she was some weirdo stranger in the Pizzaplex that the security and the police needed to take care of.
But he already knew that Vanny had power in the Pizzaplex, maybe not the full scope, but enough to know that if she and he ever came into conflict with one another that ended with her wanting to hurt him then he needed to get out of the Pizzaplex.
Funnily enough, this actually lines up with the first-ever trailer for Security Breach, where Vanny says: "Gregory, I may have lost my temper earlier. But it was just a glitch!" Which implies they talking neutrally before whatever made Vanny lose her temper." Again, I'm not using this as evidence as it's been cut, instead, I'm suggesting that the idea might have merit.

CD-Therapist: — I have this still shot the techs pulled from the security footage that recorded you in the pizzaplex. That's you, isn't it? I know this image is distorted but I think it looks like you. And you're not alone here. You're talking to someone, or something. it's hard to tell. What are those things? They almost look like rabbit ears. What? You find that amusing? Well I guess it is.

I had always flipped-flopped between the mysterious person being either Glamrock Bonnie or Vanny. Both are connected to Glitchtrap, so either would fit here as Glitchtrap wouldn't be captured by a camera. But with the new evidence I've discovered, Vanny fits as Gregory's mysterious rabbit correspondent in the Pizzaplex.
But what about Vanessa? Is Gregory hacking into her files or is it Vanny and Glitchtrap? Or perhaps Gregory is hacking into her files on behalf of Glitchtrap and Vanny. Either way, Vanessa is getting dragged into Gregory and the Villian's group chat.
Speaking of the therapy, if we take into account the Retro-CD's numbering system the first two numbers are the patient ID number, and the last two numbers are the number of times both Gregory and Vanessa have been to therapy, then we can uncover some invaluable information.
Gregory has been in therapy longer than Vanessa and he was also in therapy before her too. But combining this CD's numbering system with a theory from the Talesbook story, GGY, that Gregory only goes to therapy on Sunday. Then Gregory has been going to therapy for a year and a half.
And if Vanessa is following the weekly therapy session pattern, then she's only been going to it for a little more than half a year. This means she started her therapy just about after Gregory hit his half-year mark for therapy. In addition to all that, Vanessa stopped going to therapy once she was transferred to a new location and never met the fourth and final therapist of the CDs.
Just something you all should keep in mind.
But Gregory definitely knows about her at the very least. That knowledge, I guess, is the reason why he's so shocked to see her face under Vanny's mask in the "To The Rooftop" ending. He knows that Vanessa and Vanny are two different people, but doesn't know that they look alike because he never encountered Vanny before Security Breach without her mask or costume.
On the subject of costumes, I still got no answer for Vanessa's purchase of fake animal fur or what's even happening with her now.
To be honest, this would be so simple and easy if Vanessa was just Vanny. But like as I have shown many times before in both this series and the previous one, simple and easy answers are not always the correct ones.
So, instead of looking for signs of the villain's goal with Vanessa in the lore. Let's look at the similarities and differences between the double Vs.
Vanessa's characteristics are.

Depressed
Has anxiety issues
Tired (It's something that has been mentioned by the first and third therapists in CD-1 and CD-10. But seems to have more to do with the messages she's getting than how she usually is.)
Likes the blue sky
Likes to sit outside and read
Watchful about her calorie intake
Likes flowers or at least the sweet smell of them
Doesn't like dark basements
Oh, and hates kids

Vanny's characteristics are.

Loves Pizza, especially pepperoni (Huh, no wonder she likes Chica)
Absolutely, does not care about her calorie intake or a healthy diet (Seriously, Girl has gone full gamer mode with the amount of Fizzy Faz, straw drinks, and pizza boxes in areas with her presence in them)
Hobbies in painting or graffiti
Likes or used to like Glitchtrap or maybe William Afton (I talk about this in the secret ending)
Loves Fazbear Entertainment (Vanny uses red spray paint in Ruin and has drawn two hearts on the FAZ ENT. Logo in the main Lobby)
Likes Toy Chica
Likes the Daycare Attendant (She seems to be fond of Moon more)
Likes to read, or at least, read about the World History of Fazbear Entertainment
Likes Flowers, a specific species of them(that I can't determine right now)
Likes summer
Is a mechanic or roboticist or both (She making something in Ruin Fazerblast and has turned Ruin Monty into her lapdog among other things)
Super lazy (This one may or may not be true, but unless there's a good reason why she refuses to clean up her room in Fazer Blast, this is staying right here as far as I'm concerned)

Wow, I did not realize we already knew this much about Vanny just from the environment storytelling of the games until I listed them!
Anyway, as you can see, there are some very similar likes between the two and very stark differences in traits as well. I'm not about to list them to save word space, but instead, I want to answer a question. Could Vanessa still be Vanny despite their differences? This isn't so much for me, but for the people who believe Vanny = Vanessa despite my Double-V evidence.
At first, I thought there might've been a chance for that as they both like flowers, to read, and enjoy the outside, or at least the summer in Vanny's case. But now, after listing everything out they're just too different to say they're the same.
Even if we say that Vanny's love of pizza, general bad diet, and trashy room is the result of Vanessa coping with her depression and her situation with Glitchtrap and that her graffiti is the by-product of therapy, along with her interest in growing flowers. That doesn't negate the fact that in Ruin when given the chance to express her anxiety, Vanny doesn't take it.
If you don't know, on the wall where Vanny drew her face next to a slice of pizza in the main lobby near the Superstar Daycare entrance, there is a painted graph. The artist who made the graph also wrote on the right side of it; "TAG YOURSELF".
On all four sides of the graph, the artist made the furthest sides of them represent something. The top Y-axis is Wizard, the bottom Y-axis is Cedar the left X-axis is Filled with a word that ends in a y, and the right X-axis is Filled with anxiety.
What this graph is showing, or what the artist trying to convey with it, is that each of the four points represents not quite the opposite thing but the furthest thing from each other. Of which, Vanny decided to tag herself on the furthest left X-axis, not the right.
This tells us that Vanny feels the furthest thing from anxiety. Something Vanessa, no matter if she's under Glitchtrap's control or not, would be constantly feeling as she suffers from it.
As for what she's feeling, I don't know, the word on the left graph is unreadable and covered by Vanny's face to make it almost impossible to decipher. But what I do know without a doubt, is that Vanny and Vanessa are indeed, two different people with some common likes and polar opposite traits.
So after everything I've talked about in the last three? four? However many parts I've been going over Double-V, what is the best possible answer for the "To The Rooftop" ending stinger. Why do Vanny and Vanessa look alike?
I tried, I really did. I looked for as much possible evidence for anything that doesn't just make me give up and say "She's a Fazgoo clone!" or "She's a robot!"
If Vanny was a stranger who mimicked Vanessa's face, then that's cool and horrifying, but only where it concerns Vanessa herself. (The horrifying part, not the cool part.) It doesn't give us reasons why she would do it in the first place or a way to connect it to the greater lore and Glitchtrap, besides she's a human Mimic. Basically, it lacks motivation from everyone in the Villian party.
So it leaves me with no other conclusion except for one.
Back when the marketing for Security Breach was building up to its release. Steel Wool released four old Freddy cartoon episodes on their YouTube channel. Each episode hides a teaser image for the lore, including a character from the games with words, along with a character stinger at the end.
The last carton, which is the most distorted one, just so happened to include Vanessa as the hidden teaser, and Vanny as the character stinger at the end. And before you all jump the gun, previous episodes have already established that the hidden character teasers have no correlation to the ending Character stinger.
Now, the words in the Vanessa teaser image are quite interesting. It includes "Test and Rat" in the upper right corner, "Pool" in the bottom left corner, and "Bleak Reactant".
Test and Rat could be Test rat or Laboratory rat (Lab rat) as in the species of rat that are bred and kept for scientific research. Lab rat here can also be referring to Vanessa being a lab rat for the villain's experiment for something.
Using that explanation, "Pool" would then mean group or pool of people, which means number of people available for an organization or group to use. So Pool would mean that Vanessa was chosen out of all the Fazbear employees or people in general to be used for the experiment.
This leaves us with Bleak Reactant, which the definition of reactant is a substance that takes part in and experiences change during a reaction, while the definition of bleak could mean lacking vegetation (an area of land), dreary (a room), miserable(the weather), or unfavorable (outcome.)
All of this together means that Vanessa was chosen by the villains out of a group of people to be used for an experiment. An experiment of a change in Vanessa that predicted an unfavorable outcome for the villains.
Vanessa was going to be the next Vanny or maybe something else.
That gives a reason why the villains were so interested in her, why she would be shopping for a costume, why she would be at the Pizzaplex, and why she would be still connected to the villains when someone else is Vanny.
But the reason she was chosen in the first place, why her out of a group of people that might've included Gregory in it too, is because the one who chose her was her own twin sister.
If anyone remembers my only Ruin theory then you would remember my mentioning of Glitchtrap's and Vanny's conversation from Scott's website from a Security Breach poster.
Glitchtrap: "Stay the course."
Vanny: "I will."
Glitchtrap: "Focus on my voice."
Vanny: "I will."
Glitchtrap: "Don't let anyone lead you astray."
Vanny: “I won't.”
Glitchtrap: "Have you selected one?"
Vanny: "I have."
In my theory, I proposed that Gregory was the one that Vanny mentioned selecting here. But now, with all the revelations and new information gained, I believe Vanessa works better here. Vanny would've chosen someone for an experiment that she personally knew of or gotten to know, and who better than her own sibling that she grew up with.
Remember, Vanny is just starting out in her following of Glitchtrap. So would be new to the whole evil thing. And most of the time, the people close to you are the ones that would most likely commit a crime against you.
As for the twin sister thing, it actually didn't come from the "To The Rooftop" ending, but a discussion from the GTlive stream where Mat hosted a little get-together with some of the FNAF YouTuber theorists after Security Breach. There, John Fuhnaff suggested the idea for it from the VR Sisters boss from the Security Breach game Scott made when Security Breach got delayed again.
It's something that I saw some merit in after I discovered the Vanny ≠ Vanessa and after disproving in my head that Vanny wasn't Tape Girl either. The best part of the twin sister thing is that there's no need to throw out all that we know from Vanessa's therapy sessions as they both share the divorced parent's backstory.
As for which is the order twin between the two, I believe Vanessa is the oldest since it makes sense that her father would use the oldest to testify against their mother as she would better understand his instructions. Plus it provides a potential grudge from Vanny to Vanessa for what happened to their mother and a misguided parental affection for Glitchtrap. Unless Vanny's just a fangirl of William Afton, which could be the case.
Also, this means that the reason Vanessa looks the way she does in "To The Rooftop" end credits is because she looking at her dead sister. Oof, I realized that this also means she would've been the one who finds what's left of her in the "Disassemble Vanny" ending too. No wonder Faz Ent. is temporarily closed if they find that one employee is disassembled and the other one is having a mental breakdown from it in the morning.
But what about the "Redemption" ending? We know that by beating PQ3 both Glitchtrap and Vanny are defeated in it. What happens to her then? Where did she go? Hmm... I'm not sure.
What happens when someone is unmerged after being merged for a long time? Unlike Vanessa, we know that Vanny lives in the Pizzaplex. Even by Ruin and Help Wanted 2, she's still living in the building despite its condition so she probably needs time to think and process what happened to her and what's she done. Oh, and therapy. And a house.
But I think that just about wraps everything up for— Wait, HW2's Candy Cadet story! I forgot all about it! I know some people mentioned that the second story had to do with Vanessa, Gregory, and Gltichtrap. Let me skim through that real quick for clues.
Oh. Oh, that's really interesting... But it along with the Jeremy and the Memory dolls can wait until after next time. Sorry for the little to no pictures, I needed space to fit everything in one post and wanted to get everything about Double-V out of the way before I go on hiatus.
Don't worry it has nothing to do with burnout. It won't be too long either, though knowing my track record when saying that, you probably don't believe me.
Truth is, I've been severely neglecting my YouTube channel, and should really start catching up the YouTube version of my series with the online version. Plus, I've got more "Prove it!" to work on.
But most important of all, my birthday is coming up, and I don't want to work, think, or have anything to do with my FNAF stuff on that day. So! Feel free to read and become full with these last few Parts until I come back with more.

Listen, I got diagnosed with HSV1, in 2022 and thought nothing of it because I was uneducated so I didn’t tell my then boyfriend because I thought everybody got it I thought HSV one was canker sores so you could understand why I didn’t think it was a big deal and we had only been doing oral stuff for like 2 weeks, I really had no type of education on it. Shortly after I began this relationship officially and I still never told my boyfriend about it, We had only begun talking at that point and just oral stuff because I knew he had HSV2 and he had just got diagnosed a few months prior so we were both worried so we didn’t have sex for about a month and a half. Fast-forward now it’s October 2022 I go visit him as he’s long-distance, and I don’t know what happened but I felt a little bit off like a minor UTI the day I got there and by the end of the trip I will spare you the details, but this was probably the worst UTI. I thought I had it was disgusting…. I had no bumps no nothing, so I didn’t think it was herpes, it didn’t even cross my mind, on the plane ride home I got viciously nauseous and by the time I walked in the door home, I went to the bathroom and I had bumps all over me literally took two hours for those bumps to even appear. I wanted to cry I wanted to scream I was terrified and I was in the most unimaginable pain, I told my boyfriend and he was freaking out that he gave it to me, and the next morning he was covered too.. which I thought was odd considering he had already had his initial outbreak, that’s when I went to the doctor and found out I had HSV1 gentially, and I was like oh fuck I gave him hsv1… fast-forward now it’s official that I have it and now my boyfriend has HSV1&2 and I have HSV1 so neither of us took meds since we were dating and now it’s December of 2022, he comes home for Christmas and he was having an outbreak prior to him flying in and we only waited six days after his outbreak cleared up so he was technically still active and we had sex and he ended up ripping me up a little bit so I had an open cut inside my vagina and then I was paranoid so I went to the doctor and lo and behold. They swabbed it and now I have HSV2 because I ripped open and he wasn’t fully recovered, I can’t blame him for that, though that was both of our mistakes.. since then I’ve only had two other outbreaks, one from high extreme emotional stress, and the other one from having sex after a long period of time but now major problems with painful sex, I swear the spot that I got diagnosed with HSV2 rips every time now from weak skin I guess and sex is unenjoyable and super painful for me now. Me and this boyfriend are no longer together, and I just have this insane amount of anxiety and fear in me now because in a relationship, I thought nothing of it and I gave everybody advice who had just gotten it and I was pretty damn confident I knew what to do I knew to take the medication, blah blah blah, but it was because I was in what I thought was a healthy loving relationship, and it turned out not to be… all I can think now about is the fact I’m now giving myself a chance to date again I’m interested in this new guy and he would be the first interest I’ve had since the break up, I never thought I would have to actually go through with the whole disclosure thing with someone else, I didn’t think we’d ever break up we were very serious. Obviously of course I would tell my future partner about my status and I understand that I may get rejected and that’s okay, but it’s the anxiety of damn now I can’t hook up with people at 25 years old. I can’t just do what I normally would do before my diagnosis when I’m single and have fun and date around… because I want to be respectful of other peoples health, I feel like now on top of many other health issues I have as a women, this thing is what is going to drag down further with my self esteem. And I hate the idea of condoms and I’m Terrible at consistently taking medication that’s why I never do. Now I have to. The idea that now I have to have this in the back of my mind and always be aware of it makes me so depressed and overthinking all the time. All I could think about is damn I really am sensitive right now I have a chance to finally try and be happy and not miserable and I don’t want my feelings hurt, I don’t want to be rejected and I don’t wanna have to worry about this because I have so many other things in my life that I need to worry about this is just the icing on the cake. It’s difficult enough to tell somebody about your diagnosis, but imagine having to tell them you have hsv1AND2 gentially. I finally now understand why so many people on here are always so worried. I hate being single.

2024.06.09 21:08 Hmmm-Delicious Getting out of 3 year contract without paying out

I (23f) started working at a small news station in Central California, at the beginning of August last year, after graduating from university. This is my first "real" job out of school. I currently make 45k annually.
I was referred to the position as News Producer from my former professor who had referred a couple of my former classmates to the same job. Since the town isn't my hometown, I did have to move and that was fine. I had no problem adjusting since I had gone to school in the area.
Looking back at the start, I wish I had negotiated my contract better as I ended up signing for 3 years when I should have signed for 2. The job also comes with a 1% raise after the first year, a 2% raise after the second and a 3% raise on the third.
I was optimistic and excited for the opportunity and experience. Even though working at a station was still something I was contemplating while in school, I didn't wan't to turn down the chance.
It didn't take long for me to realize that this job was not for me. Most stations are chaotic, but this station has left me feeling extremely miserable, anxious, physically and emotionally exhausted.
I've been gaslighted by my manager on several occasions when confronting the toxic work environment. The worst incident was when I had to spend Christmas in the hospital after passing out, which resulted in the worst migraine I've ever had.
This happened an hour after I had arrived home to spend the holidays with my family. I spent over a week in the hospital undergoing several tests. I had contacted my manager about this, to which he followed up with, wanting know when I would be back.
This was a day in to my hospital visit. I was still getting tests done, and told him I would keep him updated. He would then contact me daily from then, wanting to know when I would be back, and made sure to let me know they had someone doing my job ( I also work as the only weekend producer, so the single weekend reporter had to fill in for me, the weekend crew is severely understaffed). I would also be contacted by my coworker, who was filling in for me, wanting to know more, since my manager had told her everything.
I requested December 24th through December 27th off, before being hospitalized. I returned on January 5th. My doctor said it was possible the heart condition I was born with, along with the added stress from work, may have caused everything.
I've talked with friends and family who all agree it's time for me to get out of the contract and move on, and I agree.
Besides all the cons, I've learned a lot and have gotten a lot of experience that will help me moving forward. However, in order to break my contract, I'd have to pay out of it, and I can't afford that.
Has anyone dealt with this? Do I have any options? Or do you think I should stick through it.

This is a long one For some context: I am a 33F and my husband is 35 Him and I married super super young Me15/Him17 We had our son when I was 16 The first year of our relationship was like a movie .. too much time type out and telling it while probably make me identifiable.. anyway.. We got back together around 11 years ago after we split for 5Y. At first it was fine but 5m after getting back together we found out I was pregnant. Then he gets locked up for a po violation so now I’m pregnant and alone. I work my whole pregnancy and save money so I can get us an apartment. He comes out right before the baby comes and everything seemed great. Well since he was fresh out it would take time to find a job so a few days after giving birth I had to go back to work. Well a few months pass and I leave my job and get a better paying job but it’s third shift and tough. So one day I’m getting ready to leave for work and he was going to be home with our 2 kids .. (insert woman’s intuition) cutting to the chase I found he was talking to another female. Lines were crossed but nothing ever happened so I forgave him. 2 years later I’m pregnant with our 3rd child and at this point I’m working 3 jobs but eventually went down to 2. Same… thing. Womans intuition that something was up. I logged into his Facebook just to snoop and sure enough I caught him talking to another woman who was also married. I flipped out and told her husband etc etc. But again in my stupid mind nothing physical ever happened and I loved him and again.. I was super pregnant and decided to forgive him. 2 more years later and we get pregnant with our 4th. Well during this pregnancy he was mean to me. I would do everything.. literally everything I would cook, clean, take care of the kids and work so I have always paid my half or more since I always bought everything for the kids. We went 50/50 on just bills but practically everything else was on me. Down to Christmas, birthdays, vacations etc. At this point I felt like I was constantly walking on egg shells. Well I later found out he was talking to another female. When confronted he said tried to deny it and then admitted it so I through him out. Again nothing physical had happened while he was with me but I was so mad I had enough. So he’s then was with this woman for a few months and their relationship was toxic and I must admit just to get my rocks off, at times.. stuff happened. But in my mind it was just so I could get what I wanted plus keep in mind I’m left with 4 kids and just going from work to home. Well he breaks up with her and creeps back… I was honest with him and told him I didn’t want him back and that I wasn’t in love with him anymore. Like I loved him but was just so incredibly disgusted in him. So fast forward 4 years we plan our last child. We try and try then it happens. Cool everything seems great but quickly after woman’s intuition again. I logged into his phone carrier account and saw a frequent phone number then discovered it was the SAME woman from 4 years prior. I was so disturbed and other stressors were going on and I miscarried. This wasn’t a normal miscarriage and I almost died .. literally. So we somehow stayed together well fights happen etc and now it’s 2020.. weeks had a huge fight in December and I was just done with him. Well I left one job and was starting another when I found out within a week .. I had Covid and I was pregnant (we were not trying, I hated him at this point) I stay in this marriage. I have the baby and then next day got fixed. I can’t believe I’m still married as I type this. During the time I was in the hospital this man was asking for tit pics from that same Woman! How did I find this out… from her boyfriend! Months later find you. So of course I’m devastated. Why when talking/crying to his mother whom I used to be close with did she say to me it wasn’t a big deal because it wasn’t like I could give him anything and it was just a request for a pic.. that pretty much ended my feelings towards her. Ok so some more time passes .. like a year and since June I’ve started drinking. I don’t drink at work and I don’t get obliterated but when I get home I pour me a glass and get buzzed. At first he didn’t care but then slowly started commenting about me being like his mom when he was younger and idk it’s just annoying. He had and has his vices. Ok so I get paid more than him and I’m in the job position he wants so I feel sometimes like he hates me for that. I also have more responsibilities than him because again I pay more out of pocket because we only split regular bills. I cook, clean, take care of the house and most of our recent fights have been because I do everything and it’s exhausting and unfair and the chores should be both of our responsibilities. Well now when we fight I snap. And when I snap I only say hurtful all true things to him while he just makes stuff up to try to hurt my feelings. I stay because we have 5 kids but his mouth is disrespectful and he complains I’ve grown cold towards him. I do love this man but I also absolutely hate him and I’m aware that there’s a lot of trauma so this is why I am the way I am. In a recent fight he told me I was boring, I have no friends (kind of true.. I constantly moved when I was younger so it was I make friends just to lose them) (as an adult it was work then home because of the kids ) and the list went on. How can he say I’m gone cold when he’s creating a blizzard. Anyways super long story but now the economy is in the garbage and I can’t afford to just move away and care for 5 kids being a single mom. Yes child support is an option but it’s based on income and again I make a little more than him so it’s not going to be something really dependable and that’s if he actually pays it. A part of me sees me with him forever and a part of me feels like I’m wasting my life. More context ages if the kids: 17,10,8,6 and almost 2

2024.06.09 21:04 kingmorgana5647 My ps4 has been overheating more frequently, should i be concerned?

My Ps4 (which i got as a Christmas gift in 2015) has started being really weird in that it gives me the overheat warning for games that really shouldn't be too demanding. Ive only seen the warning for 2 games: Tales of Arise and Red Dead 2. Now i don't know much about Tales of Arise, my ps4 overheated before i even finished the first cutscene lmao, but it doesn't look too demanding on my ps4. The second game, rdr2, while definitely being one of the biggest games in the ps4 library, it shouldn't cause my ps4 to almost melt because ive owned it for like 4 years now and have played through it many times! The most strange thing of all though is that when i touch my ps4 its not even hot, its just slightly lukewarm. Should i take my ps4 to a mechanic to fix it or should i bite the bullet and get a ps5? (Also i marked this as a hardware issue but it might be software too.)

2024.06.09 21:02 wonderingDIL I’m drunk and on lunesta after an awful few weeks (long)

Trigger warning: medical stuff & the death process. I do not give permission for this to be on any other platform.
I met him on fb dating. We chatted for a while and then for 2 or 3 weeks did 2-4 hour phone calls every night. We met 2 days after Christmas, and were taken with each other. He swept me in his arms and crooned “can’t help falling in love” by Elvis in my ear while we danced. I was head over heels and remained that way for the 2.5 years we were together. He went to detox, it worked, and he stayed clean for 27 months. Hadn’t been sober that long since he was an early teen.
My boyfriend and I were “on a break” while I was in the psych ward, then a step down to find me temporary housing. I spent 2 months in the hospital. While I was in there he would call and tell me he was going to come rescue me, take me to the beach, how he needed me to get him through detox again, told me he loved me dozens of times. Then silence for a month, followed by texts during the hour “phone time” at the step down where we were allowed on our phones. He texted me Saturday night, told me he loved me, there was another girl, he’d always be there for me. I found out it was the last text he sent.
That night, the Saturday before I got out, he fell and they found hard drugs in his system (he was only a pot head & sober, but started drinking and whatever again the week I went in). He had gone back to hanging out with an old unsavory crowd.
I was upset on Sunday when I saw the texts and sent some angry responses. I got out Wednesday, didn’t hear from him and thought he was ghosting me. Found out after contacting his enmeshed mom on Thursday night that he had been on life support with irreversible brain damage among other things. They kept him on life support due to his checking the donor box on the drivers license form.
The family respected his and my relationship a lot and let me come visit the next day, then the next, then they let me be there for when life support was pulled Sunday. They couldn’t handle being in the room with him.
I saw the nurses come, open his eyelids, and watch his eyes not respond. He only jerked when there was pain applied but didn’t respond to anything else. They had him on versed and morphine and fentanyl and another one prior to removal of life support. I reattached his air tubes when they would fall out, wiped the saliva that he was soaked in, and wiped sweat off his face. Sat next to him in bed and held him, talked to him, all of it.
I was in the OR when they pulled life support and expected him to pass, to stop breathing on his own. He kept breathing and I laid down in the bed with my head on his chest next to him and told him I loved him over and over, sobbing over this gorgeous man for almost the whole 90 minutes. He kept breathing.
They took him out of the OR after 90 minutes as he no longer qualified for donor status. I couldn’t leave him though. He kept going through the night and the next. I spent a lot of time in the bed next to him, sucking secretions from his lungs with a tool they gave me and asking for pain medicine at the right intervals (they stopped the flow of pain meds and were only giving him pain meds as needed). He would exhibit pain symptoms, his jaw would clench so hard his teeth were jammed out of place and his tongue would get stuck between his teeth. Massaging his jaw would get it to calm a bit. His eyelids would open but his eyes were rolled back in his head. His chest and heart were visibly working so hard in his 160 lb 6 foot frame.
His older brother was in a major fight with him, and that first night he went though my BF’s phone and found other women he was talking to over the last 2 months. He used my bf’s phone to text-yell at me about staying with my bf, telling me he had found all this evidence that the bf was “cheating” on me, telling other women he loved them. Then got mad I wasn’t leaving his side. It hurt. I knew that he was dating, so not cheating, but to love so quickly? I was out of the bed for a few hours, angry, sad.. and that’s when he had the most tooth movement and pain. I felt immediately bad and wouldn’t leave him the rest of the time. Everyone called me the girlfriend and I was still the girlfriend. I was the one there who could help him. Drunk bf did some shitty things. Doesn’t mean I didn’t love every inch of that man and his amazing brain.
We stayed in the ICU for a day and then we were moved to a different floor. Every nurse, assistant, even the doctor that came to see him got shown pictures of the man he was, all dressed up as his favourite superhero for Halloween (he was the Spider-Man of his neighborhood for years).
The second room we were in Monday night was a holding floor, awaiting people going home or going to hospice. Getting the ICU clear. They were kind to us, until the night nurses came around. He was prescribed morphine as needed every 15 minutes but he clearly couldn’t ask for it. I pressed that call button as much as they would let me. He would squeeze my hand when he was in pain, I don’t know if that was an automatic response or not but that’s how I knew he was in pain. Still I laid by him in the hospital bed, trying to keep him calm.
After 51 hours, with only 2 15 -30 minute naps he allowed me to take, I desperately needed to get back to my house 2 hours away and get my medications. I’m a week out of the psych ward at this point and shaky as fuck. His parents both came to visit separately, and for a max of 10 minutes. They couldn’t handle what was going on.
The people in charge found room at the hospice and moved him there Tuesday afternoon. I made sure he was comfortable, kissed his head and hands and told him I loved him. I played a few of his favourite songs to let him sleep to and left to go back and get my meds.
Wednesday I slept in my own bed, took my meds and felt too woozy to go back and thought I’d take a day to make sure I could do more to help through the next week.
He passed Wednesday afternoon while his dad was sitting by him.
The last few weeks have been a numb blur. What was supposed to be me working to get a job and move from the temporary living space turned into trying to heal from everything. Cleaning the porn off his laptop & phone (both were given to his niece) His parents elected to get him cremated. I made them a Shutterfly book (while intensely applying for work so I don’t lose my temporary living space) with memories of him and it will be delivered this Friday, his birthday, along with the urn they ordered.
The 2 alcoholic sons both lived with their parents and my bf’s room is full of trinkets and books and things that he would do instead of working, instead of drinking.
Yesterday I held the box of his ashes in his room and played can’t help falling in love and other songs and swayed with him, crying. I showed his dad different treasures in his room and stories behind them. Some of his favourite books, and why. Showed him his son’s favourite boots and told him the story of how we found them and how they would change the whole way he walked. I discreetly took his sex toys out of his room so his family wouldn’t have to deal with them.
I hope a small part of him was comforted not being alone, being helped in the hospital. Knowing I’d take care of stuff.
My bf may not have considered me his boo anymore. He’s always going to be mine. I wasn’t ever able to erase the feeling that I wasn’t who he would have preferred by his side, but the girl he was with was an ex who had done some despicable things to the family. She was invited to see him for a short time before life support was pulled to say goodbye but wasn’t allowed any other time. All of this sent her from drinking a bottle of vodka a day to more, she couldn’t and still can’t keep it together. She’s even told me he told her how much I love him and how much he still loved me. She sent me selfies with presents he made for me that she was given. With duck face. That bitch.
All I kept and keep repeating in my head was all the times he said I love you to me the last few weeks of his life. The plans he made for us to go to the movies and cuddle. The plans to go on vacation.
I’m having trouble forgiving him, while still being in head over heels in love with him. I know I took on a lot of responsibility for keeping him sober that weren’t mine to feel.
Today I am drinking for the first time in a while. I wasn’t necessarily sober, just didn’t drink around him. I took Lunesta because I didn’t sleep last night.
Our relationship was so cocooned that I’ve lost a lot of my friends in the last while. I don’t know where to go, who to talk to about all this. He was my best friend, my cheerleader, my wailing wall.
That’s what’s going on. I’m lost without him. One of the last things he told me was how he admired me for my strength. I think I’m sapped.

Many years ago (a bit over 2 decades) my mother seemed to be getting nuttier about idea of me marrying and her being the one to magically find. I had a very active dating life, just not who'd she prefer. My response ranged between being very irritated to slightly annoyed to a bit amused by some of her choices (5 different quite obviously gay men including 2 different men in committed relationships with a partner who were very lovely about the meddling, or a guy who was wildly the antithesis of anything resembling anyone I'd date).
One night she was out with a family friend, "Jane", and the two got a bit tipsy while waiting for respective husbands at restaurant. My mother barely ever had anything past a glass of wine at Christmas and a glass of champagne on New Years, so 3 glasses of merlot (with ice and a lemon of course) and a margarita were WAY beyond her tolerance. When my stepfather, "Bob", and another family friend (husband of mom's wine and margarita buddy) arrived at restaurant, the two had already decided I should date their server, "John Smith".
I was completely unaware of the entire situation, and answered the phone to hear my mother slurring and talking to Jane and the both giggling while forcing me onto the phone with John, while Bob told them to not give out their daughter's number without permission (thank you, Bob!). On the phone with John, I apologized for the drunk crazy ladies, and he gave me his number since Bob (Thankfully!) stopped them from giving out mine. By description, I knew he already wasn't my type (gym rat with big muscles, crew-cut, big into guns and hunting (I'm a vegetarian) and he referred to me as "a pretty little girl"). 🚩no. 1
I called immediately after and left a voice mail message to thank him for being a good sport, and wishing him well. And went out with friends.
Later that night I received a call from an unfamiliar number; it was John. He'd star-69'ed me and used home phone to call. 🚩 no. 2. We chatted for a bit, and he said he'd still like to take me out. I declined, but he eventually convinced me while we laughed about the situation.
He wanted to meet at the same restaurant he worked at. 🚩 no. 3. And I set time for VERY early so it wouldn't be dark, and I could have 8000 excuses for ducking out. When I arrived and was greeted by the hostess, I said I was meeting someone, and to her giggles, she'd said my name, and began to lead me to where he sat. All of the other workers were popping their heads around corners, and most would come up grinning and shaking my hand, and fawning over me.
All alarms are going off. 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩
As I sit, every worker at restaurant are coming up to shake me hand, and then returning to all of them peering around corners and doors. The manager came of to insist on being server. At that age, I was still too much of a people-pleaser to just leave, and I figured I could survive date and never see him again, so I'm counting down in my head ("get drinks, 4 minutes to arrive, 2 minutes to order, 20 minutes to arrive, eat lightly for 15 minutes, 5 minutes to let him continue to eat, and no dessert, have emergency, insist on splitting bill, and out in 10" so just about an hour).
None went to plan. When I ordered a glass of wine, he declined and said that he doesn't drink. The manager brought out champagne and insisted on a toast with us while John drank water. 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 I downed 2 glasses of champagne.
I feel like something is going on that I'm not privy to. I was trying best to be polite and ask about his day and hobbies, and he shushes me (☹️☹️☹️☹️) to ask if i have a favorite place. Wine arrives arrives, and I order immediately (still counting down time), and I answer about a particular temple on O'ahu (in "Valley of The Temples"), to which he responds "I've always wanted to take my future wife to an island for our honeymoon". I gulp down wine with many faces still watching around walls and doorways, and the wine is immediately refilled.
Food should be here within 10 minutes.
I ask if he has a favorite place, and he says "I only want to go where my future wife does" and attempts to take my hand across table. I hear gasps from doorway, and jerk my hands away. I have to pee, but I'm afraid that any of the eager faces all over might follow.
He asks about cars. I'm not a car person nor impressed about them, but Honda had just started testing a hydrogen gas vehicle and I was actually excited about it, and I used it to fill time. He sat there smiling, and said how much he'd like to buy his future wife any car she'd like as a gift for their wedding.
I'm so uncomfortable, and want to bolt, but I'm thinking that food is here, and escape is just around the corner. I ask about his hobbies, and keep making certain that I ALWAYS have small bites in mouth to avoid answering more of his weird questions. He proceeds to describe his gym workout. I couldn't care less, but at least he's not being weird. The manager again tries to fill glass, and I decline because I plan to bolt as soon as I pay bill, and this was already too weird without more ANYTHING.
He finally appears to be done eating (10 minutes left) and before I can decline, he asks for cheesecake for 2 and then asks me how I feel about children. I feel like I'm the subject of some horrible "not joke", and just want to run. I can feel tears from discomfort behind eyes, but "being polite" was still so ingrained in me in early 20's, and I said I wasn't ready now, but I might someday.
Cheesecake arrives. He reaches across and grabs my wrist while grinning, and I look around for any of the watchers to realize I'm EXTREMELY uncomfortable, and then he says "I'm dying from cancer and I'd like to marry and have my wife impregnated before I die. I have money to provide but I want my legacy carried, and even IF I IMPREGNATED YOU TONIGHT I MIGHT NOT LIVE TO SEE OUR CHILD BORN" but you'd be provided for" and shoved cheesecake in my mouth. I was flapping free hand for server (I never do that at all but I wanted to leave, and I couldn't get my left out of meat-paw) and made comment "you seem healthy so I think you have more time". To which he replied "they're doing an ELECTROLYSIS treatment but there's no guarantee".
I finally get loose and throw down money that he tries to hand to me and chase, and I start practically running out as his co-workers (in hindsight, I'm sure they thought we were dating and he was "popping the question"). They all are waving in rearview as I go immediately to parent's office and grab candy dish and throw candy at her telling her to NEVER SET ME UP AGAIN. And get to use bathroom.
I pee, and call friends to meet to play pool and drink away the horrifying date. I paid to block 2 numbers (early 2000's). I convince myself it was a horrible joke and move on. I recieve a call from an unfamiliar number, and it is stupid nutter. I go off about: ELECTOLYSIS not being a treatment for cancer, horrifying me about impregnation me on first date, his creepy co-workers, and that I think he's an f-ed up liar, and then pay to block that number too.
2 days later, he calls again from yet another number, and tells me how much he'd love to have "a fiesty and intelligent wife" because I'd "protect the children well". For 6 months he kept it up. In hindsight, I should have had a restraining order, but in 2002, they weren't exactly awesome about stalking and harrassment-- not that they are now.
After 6 months of his crap calling me from various cell phones, and he'd called yet again sobbing and begging, I screamed that he should be dead by now.
I've never heard from him again, and my idiot mom never again tried to fix me up.

2024.06.09 20:54 hikingdyke Repeated heart stoppages during post surgical recovery.

On Tuesday (6/4) my dad (84m) had a quadruple bypass with cow valve graphs.
The bypass itself was a success, however we have been experiencing some set backs in recovery that I thought I would share here.
On Thursday (6/6) my dad's heart stopped. He was fully conscious when it happened, and in fact only lost consciousness when his ICU nurse gave him drugs to knock him out and hopefully prevent him from remembering any of this. For fifteen minutes they would shock his heart, only for it to drop again. Over and over. After 15 min. his heartbeat was stabilized and they took him to be examined, as the original thought was this could have been caused by either the cow valves or his new arteries not taking properly. A bad stitch was also proposed to us as a possible cause. None of those things were found, the surgery itself was a success.
Last night (6/9) at 2:00 am my dad's heart stopped again. This time it took 12 minutes for him to be stabilized. Like the first time, he had come out of the sedation just the day before. He was fully conscious again as it happened, so the same nurse gave him drugs to knock him out, and wow but I am hoping he really won't remember either of these incidents.
Based on the second incident they are now saying it was probably down to an electrical misfire in his heart, and the EP (electrophysiologic) Cardiology team will be seeing him tomorrow to both figure out the exact cause and determine best next steps. As of now the options on the table as we know them are further studies and/or numbing a faulty nerve and/or putting in a pacemaker and/or putting in a AICD device (implanted defibrillator).
I am sharing this to get it off my chest and make it all feel that much less scary, but also to highlight how incredible a good and responsive cardiac ICU team can be. I feel so lucky my parents live in a state that has legislation mandating that ICU nursing teams can never have more than 2 patients at a time so each patient gets the care and attention they need. Further, I want to emphasize that when the surgical team says the first 48 hours after surgery are critical, they really mean it.
My mother and I are currently really hopeful that the EP along with the entire Cardiology team will be able to figure out what is going wrong with my dad's electrical impulses and fix it. All of that said, it is really hard to see him in the ICU day after day, especially since with the exception of Wednesday and late in the day yesterday he has been sedated and unconscious since the surgery. The toll this recovery is taking on my mother and I emotionally is far larger then I had expected it to before his surgery.
We are currently camped out in a hotel room near the hospital and talk of little else together. If you are prepping to go through this, I would really rec looking up the nearby hotels and having a handle on the different rates and amenities they offer before you are in a distressed state. We overpaid for the hotel we are currently at because we waited until after his first heart stoppage to book it, and at that time neither of us had the energy to properly find a good rate.
Edited to add: I would also rec setting up text trees. For each friend group etc, pick one person to text so you don't have to message everyone yourself endlessly. Rehashing everything again and again with worried and anxious friends and family is exhausting in its own right, and simply having a few solid people you can talk to who will tell everyone else helps. An added benefit is they can filter out everyone else's anxieties so you don't wind up with everyone's wild guessing worst case scenarios echoing through your head.

I'm socially awkward person and I don't always pickup on social cues, and I need help interpreting what's going on. This sub is a place to ask questions without being mocked, please help.
I’m going to list some things that someone has said and done to me. I need to know how you would interpret these things, if said and done to you. This person is the opposite sex/gender to you. These things happened in the order that is written over a period of 9 months. Are they being platonic or amorousness or maybe a mix?

While living in a boardinghouse with other people, they only want to hang out with you.
When you refer to their SO as wife/husband they correct you with girlfriend/boyfriend.
When you try and fist bump them for the first time, they hug you instead.
When they moved out of a boardinghouse, they move across the street and visit you as often and bring you food they cooked themselves.
Took you on a trip to another town about a 100 mile away. Took you to a restaurant, that is cuisine for his home country. Took you to a shop and insisted on buying you something.
For Christmas only give a gift to you, even though they are other people living in the boardinghouse.
When helping you hang a large item on the wall, ask you if you like “drilling.”
Have a conversation about you, in a language you don't know, that lasted over an hour.

2024.06.09 20:28 labe225 Majestic Princess Alaska Cruise May 26- June 2, 2024 - Thoughts about our first non-DCL, non-Caribbean cruise.

Alright, some background: My wife and I have been on 3 cruises so far, all Caribbean through Disney (Wish, Dream, Fantasy, and soon to go on the Magic.)
This cruise was a Christmas gift to my parents. It was me, my wife, sister, her husband, their two kids, and my parents. My mom suffered an accident a few years ago that left her with some mobility issues, so we thought we'd treat her to a big trip now that she is somewhat mobile.
Overall, I'd say it was a good trip and don't really regret it. It was way cheaper than the Norwegian trip we had originally booked (and waaaaay cheaper than Disney) and we all had a pretty good time. But I will say it wasn't without its faults.
The Good:

ADA assistance. Seriously, I cannot thank the staff enough. Some of those ports had quite the steep climb and those men and women were right there ready to assist.
Port locations. This is originally why we switched from NCL in the first place (then found we would be saving a lot more with Princess.) We really wanted to be docked close to everything just to minimize dealing with the wheelchaiscooter.
Medallions. This is something I think every cruise ship needs to get on board with. The combination of that and a drink package was honestly amazing. We'd just walk up to a bar, order, they'd confirm our name, and we were done. And knowing exactly where our party members were was so helpful especially when my dad is still using a flip phone and my mom is terrible about checking her phone.
Stateroom hosts. These guys are seriously one of the best parts about cruising.
Kids club. My nephew seemed to really love the kids club and would spend a lot of time in there. My sister's one complaint was they were pretty bad about sticking to a schedule.
Indoor pool on an Alaskan cruise is seriously fantastic. My wife and I didn't use it, but the kids absolutely loved it!

The Meh:

Food. Overall, not terrible. I had some really good food (chicken tikka from the buffet was a shocking hit) and then some misses (my "prime rib" was pretty sad and the tuna was overcooked.) The paid upgrades were pretty good, but my wife and I agreed that Palo really set a high bar for paid upgrades.
Drink package. We included it to make it all a more inclusive vacation, especially for my parents. I do have some thoughts though. I vastly prefer DCL's included soda and being able to go to a fountain and fill up whenever rather than wait for someone at the buffet to deliver you a can of soda. It is very nice to have alcohol included though. But that said, with so many people with a drink package, the bars stayed going seemingly 100% full throttle almost any time we walked by. Meanwhile on DCL, we chat to the bartenders while they wipe the bar down and wait for the next customer. It was almost like they needed twice the number of bartenders and servers for what they were dealing with.

The Bad:

Service. The quality of the service we received was generally good...when we finally received it. It was so slow at times. We spent so long waiting for food at the main dining hall. And like I mentioned earlier, it was often a wait at the buffet for a can of coke.
Guest Services. Seriously, these guys were a mess. You'd think someone in a handicapped accessible room would raise some alarms when they were given express walk-off. But no, we had to get that sorted out (even though we filled out all of the paperwork and said we would need bags picked up the night before we arrived back in Seattle.) We also ran into an issue where our excursion had to be cancelled shortly after it began (it was the White Pass train excursion with the dog sledding village and sight seeing bus tour. The train in front of us broke an axle and cut the excursion short.) My biggest gripe is we approached guest services and no one seemed to want to say "we'll give you a full refund." I get that this is more of an issue with corporate and this is the guidelines they give to guest services, but it was a very frustrating thing to experience after being stuck on that train all day 30 minutes into what was supposed to be a 6 hour excursion.
Alfredo's on a sea day. This one is kind of on us, but I also don't want to give them a pass on what might be one of the most frustrating dining experiences of my life. We had someone come around maybe twice to get drinks and refill our glasses...but we were there waiting for 2 hours for our pizzas. They really need to limit their capacity on sea days because that was frankly unacceptable. Also, when our pizzas were finally done, they gave me the wrong pizza.
The layout of the ship was just a bit bad imo. I really only have experience with the Wish and the Dream/Fantasy, but I loved the open atrium as soon as you walked on board on those Disney ships. You would walk onto the ship and be in a large, open space and could easily disperse. The Majestic kind of just had you get off at the top level of the atrium. It was really weird and made the first day a chaotic mess. Also, the Catch blocked off a good portion of the top of the atrium and was a constant obstacle navigating the ship. Not a fan.
Onboard activities. I get the clientele for Princess averages older, especially on an Alaskan cruise, but holy hell the activities were terrible. I think our 7 night cruise had 2 trivias. And most of the other activities were "our spa will cure your diabetes!" They had some good movies playing outside, I'll give them that. Maybe not a big deal on an Alaskan cruise where we were busy soaking in the scenery and going on excursions at every port.

Overall, it was a great trip. It felt pretty close to an all-inclusive experience and the price was very respectable. I don't regret going on the Majestic, but I also would probably avoid going on that particular ship again. And the lack of onboard activities make it practically a non-starter for us in the Caribbean. We're excited to try some more cruises outside of DCL eventually, but I'm excited for our cruise on the Magic in a few months.

Hi everyone. I’m a 19 year old guy who is struggling getting over a relationship.
I’m gonna try and keep it short but I had a gf who had SZPD (onset after relationship started). She had a rough past and I did what I can to help her. Sadly, I helped a bit too much and got too involved, and this broke her trust in me.
The relationship was getting back together until the symptoms got worse. Eventually, she started hurting me mentally, admitting to toying with me for her own gain. I didn’t suspect SZPD until recently when a psychologist friend of mine suggested it. I have spoken to priests about this and they said she was possessed by demons, which only supports the claim (I prayed a whole bunch of prayers so it can go away but it should be gone by now).
She broke up with me right after Christmas citing I wasn’t giving her a “net positive”. I realised I needed to work on myself (I had clinical depression) and was able to get the treatments I needed, but I still can’t get over her.
Part of it is because she said she was seeking answers as to why she was like this, which I have, but I’m too afraid to reach out because we did promise in May to reconnect in a few years (I took it a step further by deciding that she should contact me first). I also want to be forgiven, she has not forgiven me nor am I able to redeem myself which goes back to this first point. My mind wants to move on yet hate her, and my heart wants to help her but wants something in return.
I want to move on, I want to stop being creepy, I want to stop being insane, I want to stop being obsessive. My friends are annoyed. I’m stuck between two evils and I don’t know what they are anymore. I don’t want to hate her or envy her, thats just gonna hurt me more nd is wrong and unjustified.
Even my mother said she was gonna get involved which I appreciate but sounds humiliating.
How do I deal with this the Catholic way

2024.06.09 19:41 Aperture1082 How to Ace the CLEP Precalculus (I got a 78/80)

This subreddit really helped me prepare for this exam, so I thought I'd try to help out others here.
The first word of advice I have is to learn from a textbook and not so much Modernstates. I thought the lectures barely scratched the surface of what needed to be conveyed, and the textbook wasn't great either. I used the textbook: Precalculus: Mathematics for Calculus by Stewart, Redlin, and Watson. This textbook is great because it makes itself easy to understand, has a LOT of practice problems for every lesson, and has chapter tests at the end so you can test your knowledge. My only real complaint about the book is that it doesn't tell you when you should or should not use the calculator, so I wasted time on problems I should have punched into my calculator and done in 30 seconds. I paired this textbook with the Khan Academy course, and I feel like the Khan Academy structured some topics differently, which helped me deepen my understanding of the material. However, you SHOULD NOT USE EXCLUSIVELY KHAN ACADEMY to get a full treatment of precalculus. The trig unit on their Precalc course is incoherent if you haven't already learned trig. You have to use their separate trig course, which still doesn't cover what it should in enough detail to get a full treatment of the subject.
With that said, definitely do the Modernstates questions after you have learned the material. I don't recommend doing the questions while learning because the questions can be out of order. For example, it asked trig identity questions before any were introduced. Other than things like that, I thought there were a lot of genuinely challenging questions on the Modernstates, and they forced me to fill some practical gaps from my Algebra 2 class. They are also identical to the Collegeboard exam guide questions, so there's no reason to buy that (don't make the same mistake my dumbass did).
In the few days leading up to the exam, I used the Math Quantum playlist of 65 review videos to ensure I hadn't lost anything. While these 65 questions are repeated from Modernstates, the guy doing the videos solved many of the problems differently than I did. Seeing these different methods helped me to understand the few questions I couldn't when I was on my own.
I also used the Peterson's CLEP review exams to help me prep. They were okay at best. The exams were filled with actual errors (The solution solved something that was not the question, or the answer it reaches is incorrect and very easy to prove so with something like desmos). I scored 80-90% on these tests after correcting for such errors. Apart from that, there was one type of trig question it asked that was a word problem, but it was written such that it was impossible to accurately draw the diagram to answer the question correctly (due to grammar mistakes). It is, according to others, the most challenging review out there (go figure when there are so many mistakes), and there are many challenging questions on it. I would say if there's another resource with fewer obvious mistakes, you should probably go for those. If you must have the hardest problems, it's fine, but you have been warned.
I aimed to answer every question in around a minute on my first go around of each section during prep exams, so I would have plenty of time to work on the questions I needed to return to. Be sure you can do almost every question without a graphing calculator. Finally, I'd like to recommend a YouTube channel that helped me out a lot when preparing for this test: The Math Sorcerer. This guy is a math professor who has many videos teaching precalc topics (as well as full lectures on the Calc series, differential equations, and other videos teaching topics from Prealgebra to Abstract Algebra and Complex Analysis). He teaches very well and I can't recommend his channel enough. Additionally, if that textbook isn't to your liking, he has at least a dozen videos reviewing and recommending different precalc textbooks, so there will be something for you there. I hope this can be of help to anyone looking to pass their Precalc CLEP. Seriously, if you've already got College Algebra/Algebra 2 down, you can get through all this stuff in just a few weeks (It took me 3 weeks to prep for this test). It may seem like a lot, but with some dedicated practice every day, you will pass with flying colors.

Forgive me for a longer post. Pictures don’t do justice for the amount of work I’ve put in, not just in the weight room but inner-work. I’ll try to keep it interesting, on topic, with little quirks of my humor sprinkled in (😊). I appreciate anyone taking the time to read this.
Crossposting to the other communities that have helped me so much.
I wanted to include my graph to show that it hasn’t been a flawless ride. Had a tough time staying focused on the workout discipline side of things, especially during this past winter. (More context below)
I drank beer, mostly, and played a lot of video games (particularly during the covid lockdowns) to get that big, 317 lbs at my peak (I’m 6’ 4”).
Consistently lifting weights (4 days a week, on average) and eating well (80% of the time, don’t touch my ice cream) has been the only “secret”.
I have found, personally, that understanding myself has been equally if not MORE a part of this journey.
CONTEXT: Social anxiety and depression has been a major part of my story: a lot of feelings of “not good enough/useful” stemming from a poor relationship with my parents growing up (not blaming, just aware).
I was a chubby, Michigan-born, homeschooler. Raised in a religious family (Baptist) that kind of disowned me when I started having sex with my high school girlfriend (I went to public high school).
Feeling overwhelmed and swallowed up by the sheer number of people in college, I ran away to the military at 20 (after losing about 40 lbs through jogging mostly, very “skinny-fat” body), and felt like quite a black sheep in that community as well.
Sensitive and gentle aren’t exactly military-issued qualities lol.
After a mental health related discharge, I chased after a girlfriend who was still in college and picked up a job waiting tables and eventually bartending.
Being “the man” behind the bar meant lots of new friends and a lot of phone numbers (it’s cool to know the bartender, kinda thing, that’s not meant as a flex).
Drinking to fit in with these new friends introduced me to this community where no one held others accountable, it was just frolicking and getting drunk together. Lots of games of pool and darts.
I began feeling like I finally was “cool” and had somewhere to fit in.
I met my wife (still together 5 years strong), got married, and changed jobs back to one more aligned with my military training (nuclear engineering), that was 2019.
Well, a few months later lockdowns were enforced, my gym closed up (they went out of business as it was a pretty small family-ran place), and as an introverted gamer I thought life was just grand, at first.
However, the frequent drinking (4-pack of IPAs, 3-4 days a week), lack of exercise, and bored eating all caught up.
I developed gout, became the drunk asshole of every woman’s nightmare, and hit quite a low point.
It was the foot pain that really did me in. I felt so pathetic and terrible: going from a pretty good looking bartender who dabbled in personal training, to being unable to walk up two flights of stairs without being winded and miserable.
A lot of my ego had gone into being “the cool bartender”, the physical pain from my feet forced a “sobering” (pun intended) realization of how far away that “cool” persona had fallen.
After a particularly nasty gout flair up in Jan 2022 I began moderating and seriously trying to lose weight (had rejoined a gym already, but if you look at my chart it hadn’t really changed my behavior much).
Took a match to it all that June, after realizing moderating wasn’t going to get me very far.
I found a project to replace my time with (began studying web design for fun/freelancing, then pivoted to re-certifying as a trainer), read a book called “Miracle Morning”, and started journaling/meditating every morning that I could (I work rotating shift work, so my schedule is consistently tumultuous).
Through that inner work (“mindset” I guess in marketing speech, but that feels not as profound as the experience was for me), I have been able to find such tremendous inner peace and quiet down the voices of insecurity and fear.
I am absolutely still a work in progress, but I am accepting of myself and imperfectly working toward the best potential version of my Self.
That’s actually the big selfish reason why I wanted to post this, fear exposure: I’m a little sweaty while writing this from the fear of sharing lol.
And of course some validation for my hard work, I’d be lying if I didn’t say that some upvotes and “Nice” comments don’t feel good.
My future health goal: At my leanest in the military I still was in the high teen body fat percentages. This is the leanest I have ever been, and the pain I have reclaimed fuel my desire to keep going.
Dieting until I have washboard abs, then I might do some bulk-cut cycles. I amm toying with the idea of some competitive bodybuilding as the next iteration of “holy shit a lot of people are looking at me”.

(disclaimer: this is all for Discord, and I'm not sure if there's a way to use them outside of that setting, in case you're not a Discord user)
- C3PO bot

the C3PO bot is most commonly used to see your progress in a farm (using the /panic command), however, there are some hidden gems within this bot
using the command "/tickets auto settings" allows you to set up a free ticket checker for your guildmates. this, however, does not ping people and rather sends a message to people who have connected their ally codes to their discord. with that being said, you as a leadeofficer will get a list of people who have not met the minimum ticket requirement you have set (see picture 1)*

the following commands with C3PO require that you connect your allycode to your ea account. to do so requires you to first connect your ally code to your discord using the command "/allycode add". once that has been done, use the command "/allycode auth ea_connect" to connect your ea account

using the command "/tw preload" allows you to see the logs of teams that have been pre-loaded. this is an amazing way to see who may have pre-loaded a team (see picture 2)

the command "/tb status" allows you to see how much character GP as well as ship GP, and compare it to the amount of GP each respective has not been deployed (see picture 3)**

Omegabot
the command "/scoutgac enemyallycode:" allows you, as the command implies, to scout your GAC enemy (see picture 4)***. this scouting will include, but is not limited to;

past defense that they have had
what they usually have on offense
what they have previously faced and what the banners were, as well as if they were completely blocked by it.
it will compare your mod scores
player omicron
banner efficiency
details on the teams they used on defense, offense, and what they faced on said offense

while it isn't a "hidden gem" per se, I do often find that scouting via swgoh.gg can be somewhat of an annoyance, and to have it all in one big graph SERIOUSLY helps. this is also the only command I found to be somewhat interesting, but as I previously stated, feel free to mess around with the other commands that it has

RotBot

rotbot is the perfect bot to watch over fleet arena and your payout times. unfortunately, I'm not too sure how to set it up, and will therefore only link the discord link to their server. however, I do know that this is a free way to watch over who has their payout closest and to know when to attack (see picture 5)

2024.06.09 19:00 sforzabull Is The Tanchjim Origin Worth It?

When it comes to iem's the question is almost always the same, is it worth the cost? I feel like the answer to that question is just as subjective as the sonic signature and fitment. Some people will agree the additional cost is valid, others will disagree. We're in a very competitive market, manufacturer's are having to walk a fine line between performance and build quality/accessories. Tanchjim put together a very nice set, but we're still talking about $260 for a single dynamic driver. When you consider Simgot was able to put together a similarly built/accessorized set for $40 less and included a passive radiator, why would you spend the extra money on the Origin?
I have spent the last 3 weeks with the Origin as my primary set. The first week was spent finding the right tips. The Origin has a longer nozzle than most of the single DD sets I own. This gives you the ability to have a deeper insertion. For the first time I was using some of the small size tips which usually collect dust. The included tips are really nice, unfortunately they were too small and didn't work for me. The overall presentation, as well as the bass response, improves significantly once you're able to figure out the fitment.
So let's talk about the bass. Will this set satisfy a basshead? Nope, if you're looking for a bass monster I suggest you look elsewhere. Did I ever feel this set was lacking bass or impact? Nope, this set seems to always offer the "correct" amount of bass. Sure, there are times my inner basshead comes out and I would reach for a different set. What makes the bass of the Origin special is how fast and clean it reproduces notes.
The midrange of the Origin is open, spacious, and clean. Vocals seem to have a forward presentation, female slightly more so than male. I never found them harsh, I never felt the need to lower the volume, I would have a very difficult time trying to find something negative to say. It's not a warmer set but does have enough that vocals never come across lean. The Origin is better than any other single DD set I own when it comes to reproducing texture and details in vocals and instruments.
It's difficult to describe the treble of the Origin. It's open and airy, has very good resolution and details, and manages to come off a little smooth. I guess I would say it leans towards the brighter side without any harshness. Treble heads may ask for a tiny bit more extension but I feel the Origin offers a natural, detailed top end.
When I think of the Origin's sonic signature the words balanced and clean seems fitting. I know it's not referred to this way, one look at the graph and you know it's not the case. But Tanchjim did a fantastic job of making sure none of the frequencies overpower the other. One of the things you'll never see on a graph is just how clean this set is. This is the first set since the Performer 8 that I would use "clean" in the description. The head-stage of the Origin is the one place I was hoping to have a different experience. Instrument placement and separation is well above average. Depth was the one area I wish I could improve. It's not flat, there is more depth than some sets, but I have experienced a deeper, more immersive stage in less expensive sets. That nitpick is the only negative thing I can say. As it turns out, the Origin has climbed right to the top if my "favorites" list.
So that means it has to be worth the extra cost over the EA1000, right? Well, yes and no. The build quality and accessories are very similar. The Simgot has a nicer cable and the extra nozzles actually work. I was able to use the stock tips with the EA1000, that wasn't an option with the Origin. For testing I used the same Azla Crystal tips and Ivipq cable to keep things even. The EA1000 is easier to drive as well. Both sets will scale up some but the Origin almost asked for additional amplification while the EA1000 was happy with lower powered dongles. The sonic signature between the two is very similar. I'm confused, why is the Origin more expensive? Oh yeah, besides the EA1000 offering a "slightly" deeper head-stage, the Origin does everything else better. The biggest difference is the overall resolution and clarity.
One last thing before I let you go. The EA1000 is a fantastic iem. I spent a good amount of time with it prior to the arrival of the Origin and I enjoyed it very much. You have to A/B the two sets to know you're missing something if you own the Simgot. Even after spending a couple of weeks with the Origin I was able to enjoy the EA1000. My advice, if you don't own either set and you're trying to decide, spend the extra money and pick up the Origin. If you already own the EA1000, maybe consider adding a different set. $260 is a decent budget, I would consider putting that money towards a nice hybrid set that offers a different type of experience. Something like the BGVP DMA. If you have any questions I'll do my best. As you can read, I'm not a "professional reviewer", just a hobbyist that spends too much money on iems.

So I have been with my boyfriend for a bit over a year now and we’ve had problems with his female friends. I’ve never been the jealous type but I feel disrespected:
He has two female friends. Neither of them live in our city but rather 4+ hours away so he only texts them. He’s always been adamant they’re just friends but he has had sexual relations with one (let’s call her S) and has exchanged inappropriate messages with the other (let’s call her M)
When I first met S online, she spilled all the sexual details as a first greeting and generally made me feel awkward but I was nice regardless. I messaged her afterwards saying if we could hang out online a bit to get to know her since she’s his friend to which she got very hostile and told him I was trying to “mark my territory” when i genuinely felt like that’s what she did. But I digress. He did not take my side but rather comforted her and played the “you’re both at fault card”. I was never invited back to their weekly online gaming session because she felt uncomfortable around me. He never stopped playing though.
Then there’s M. He’s gone on a date with her years back but they’ve kept in contact. He keeps reassuring me that he doesn’t have feelings but as of last year before we met he kept telling her how sexy she looked. And two years ago he even sent her a vibrator “as a joke”. She doesn’t want to meet me at all not even online and I suspect it’s because of things he told her which I can’t prove obviously. So she doesn’t respect boundaries like us going on vacation she’ll constantly message him and he would respond. He’s conveniently always forgot about talking about me too, although I know she knows about me. He would on the regular order her food too and they’d be online and chat while eating. Which I felt was like a date.
So I asked him if he could just slow down the contact and tell me what they were talking about. In December I found out he had constantly been texting her (I accidentally looked at his phone because his sister was in the hospital, he was asleep and he was getting a TON of messages in a row). He even lied to her by saying he’s only spending Christmas at work when he actually had Christmas dinner with me.
Ever since then he’s been lying about texting her. Hiding the conversations (deleting them and telling me she hadn’t texted). I saw a message pop up once and he pretended he didn’t know he had it… he also made a naked AI picture of S that I accidentally found. He gaslight me into believing he didn’t know what that was about.
I told him if I ever caught him sneaking around like that again it’s done. Now we are on vacation and the first night (the night before my birthday) I found out that he had texted M and deleted it saying “I so greatly value our friendship, I don’t want you to worry but I won’t be able to text as much the next few days”. No mention of me at all. He had deleted the messages but kept a screenshot so he know where they had left off.
Now I asked him her or I and he said he can’t give me an answer. Otherwise he’s the most affectionate and loving guy, but this is an emotional affair right? I offered him some more “rules” instead of completely breaking it off but he isn’t really having it. I cried all throughout my birthday hysterically and I don’t think any of my hurt emotions are getting through to him.
Tbh I feel like I won’t find another guy so affectionate and caring otherwise (all my ex boyfriends had been mean) but I also don’t like what this is doing to me or who I have become. Any advise? I am also his first girlfriend. All my friends know him and it also feels odd that these girls have such a terrible opinion of me before meeting (so they’re either using him and don’t want that to stop or he’s feeding them lies)

This is my first week Solo (did it with the wife during Christmas time last year) worked my ass for 6 days and broke a over a thousand so far this week. Then I get the order from hell that had nothing to do with the customer, restaurant, or DD. 2:56 am order comes in for a store that closes in 4 mins and I'm prob about that away from the store. I'm zooming to the store and this dude is riding my ass flashing his high beams at me. We get to a red light and he is literally inches from my bumper flashing his high beams and laying into his horn. I'm finishing up an 8-hour shift I'm tired cranky and this dude has pissed me off. The light turns green and I flick them off and start to go when I hear it super distinct pop pop... This crazy dude just pointed a gun out his window and fired off a couple rounds. Well at this point my flight or fight response kicks in and I book it and what pursues is a 5-minute chase through the city into downtown with extreme speed.
My call to 911 happened at 2:58 am. The dispatcher was able to pinpoint my location and give me directions to the main downtown police headquarters. I guess he could see I was on the phone with 911 and within a mile of the police department he disappeared. I get to the police department and there are literally three cop cars sitting there waiting for me.
I explain everything that happened to the police they get all my information for the report and then they handed me a business card with the officers name on it and a report number and they tell me a detective will call me later in the week.
Immediately reached out to support after I was finished with the police and try to explain to them what had happened but I don't think they understood the gravity of the situation but even after that I told support that I was still going to go pick up the order but that was why I was delayed.
I reached out to the customer afterwards and explain the situation to them as well and told them I was still going to go pick up their order.
After all that I then drive about 6 minutes to the place to pick up the order and they're closed. They closed at 3:00 It was now around 330am I told the customer this and reported the stores closed took pictures submitted it got half pay and said that was it and ended my dash. Around an hour later I get an email from doordash saying my account is now deactivated for fraud.
The only thing I can think of is this guy got pissed told support that the only reason I didn't deliver it was because it was 8 mi away (8 mi on a $14 order I take anything higher then .75 a mile) and I made up a delay so I could wait until the store was closed and report it closed and get an easy half pay.
I already know I'm not going to get my account back I've read all the horror stories on here. I'm just glad I had my pay setup for dasher direct and didn't loose my money. The only other CV I had was the one I posted on here about a couple days back where Taco Bell wouldn't fulfill a order for 36 items stating they were out of beef. I informed the customer of this and then received a CV. I did over 100 deliveries since Monday of this week.
This s***'s really disheartening especially when I found something that I actually enjoy and with it being able to fit into my schedule.
Unfortunately I cannot do instacart due to the physical hardship it would cause and physical pain due to a disability. Uber eats and GrubHub are garbage in my area and so is spark. I signed up for flex but there's a wait list and I don't know how long it is but I've heard really good things about it.
So for now I'm just in limbo. Canceled by an algorithm....
I did appeal it but expect it to be rubber stamped denied.
TLDR late night order road rage turns into a shooting/ chase that caused me to arrive late to a closed store that resulted in deactivation due to fraud!

Sister to Sleep - One of the earliest songs written for Revenge, revealed in a 2003 interview as conceptualized for The Freddy vs. Jason Soundtrack before licensing fell through. It was re-conceptualized around The Sandman series of comics, where sleep is anthropomorphized as the titular Sandman, and his sister as Death. In its released form, the lyrics explore sleep as an analogy for death and themes of insomnia and institutionalization. Ultimately, the track was cut from release by producer Howard Benson. Two live recordings (1) (2) of this song have circulated the fandom for a number of years, with one found more recently all from the same show played in NYC's the Knitting Factory on 6/26/2003. On 10/17/2022, it was played once more in Inglewood during the RETURN Tour, albeit slightly different lyrics. Later, Frank spoke on a 2023 interview about using live footage for practice, likely explaining the difference in lyrics. I'm Not Okay (I Promise) Demo - A 1 minute 4 second Clip of an I'm Not Okay demo uploaded by the YouTube channel AJ Serna in 2012 which contains the line "And never mind the drugs you took" instead of Revenge's release version "The photographs your boyfriend took" with notably worse recording quality. ^{This lyric was likely remnants from} ^{when the song served as the conclusion} ^{to the album with a spoken word outro by Daryl Palumbo \}Of Glassjaw, Head Automatica] and is more in-line with) ^{early production takes} ^{of the song.}

Frank revealed in an interview with The Music that the song had a studio demo but "lyrical reservations" prevented its release.
MCRBlog 09' Demos - Throughout 2009, the band would post an occasional series titled 'Practice Cam' where they'd take photos and videos of whiteboards containing song titles. Fans like Cassie the Venomous were able to decipher some of these titles, and later corroborate them with at-the-time newly released live performances. (What was initially titled 'Siren Song' as a live performance eventually released as 'AMBULANCE', ect.) However, some of these teased titles never received accompanying live material. These include:

Hell Hath No Fury - This track was apparently credited to My Chemical Romance (1) (2) for 2012's The Man With The Iron Fists but never appeared on the movie's soundtrack. ^{It's theorized} ^{this track} ^{midway through the film is a snippet of the track.}
The Paper Kingdom - Proceeding DD's touring cycle, the My Chemical Romance began work on their 5th studio record before scrapping the album due to burnout, depression and unhealthy habits. (1) (2) Some of this material was likely posted by a user named Excalibur and sold for $10k+ on the leaked music website Leaked.cx in late September 2022. Snippets of these tracks with added auditory watermarks were provided by the leaker for legitimacy from tracks with the filenames "Dark Cloud", "Witch" and "Wake Up!". However, these clips were taken down by Warner both on leaked.cx and on other sites' reposts, likely validating the leak's legitimacy. One track recognized by Warner's automatic content ID system was entitled "Paper Swords" by My Chemical Romance.

The Foundations of Decay Sessions - According to comments by Excalibur made under leaked.cxs TPK leak, they also possessed demo sessions for the My Chemical Romance's 2022 release The Foundations of Decay. It was unclear whether these sessions were also purchased and vaulted alongside TPK's leak by the same or another buyer.

The Drugs - A scrapped song played live sometime during 2009 during the Summer Sonic Festival. Later never released alongside the other CW-era singles or later DD material. Released as a live track on 'Still Chemical Dependency' bootleg album in 2009.
Everybody Hates the Eagles ^aka Kill Em' All ^aka DD Jam Session - A DD-era Jam Session repurposed for the My Chemical Romance's 2022-2023 tour and given lyrics with a variety of concluding lines rhyming or spinning on the phrase "Everybody Hates the Eagles". (1) (2) (3) (4)

Tl;dr: Next-door neighbours approached me about a boundary issue that was holding up the sale of their house. They asked me to give up a small piece of my land for free and I said no due to my past experiences with them. They're still trying to sell their house a year later.
My neighbours (a couple I'll refer to as Sean and Levi) and I have had a pretty strained relationship. It started 3 years ago when I first moved in. I had placed a few online orders and there were about 4-6 instances where the delivery drivers, impatient as they were, knocked on my neighbours' door to ask if they could accept my parcels. Each time, I would open my door to hear Levi speaking to the drivers through their Ring Doorbell and refusing to take my packages. On the sixth instance, Levi was standing outside, visibly angry and giving out to the delivery man.
I would like to note that by the third incident, I started including "don't leave with neighbours" in my shipping address and also scheduled to have a camera doorbell installed so I could tell the drivers that I'm home and to not bother my neighbour. I also went over to their house several times to apologise, but they never answered.
About a month or so after the parcel debacle, Levi noticed my mum at the bus stop near our house, glared at her and scoffed before walking away. My mum didn't even know who he was until she saw him going into his house. There were also two instances where we saw eachother in public and my smile/greetings would just be met with a cold stare. His actions felt borderline hostile and while I felt bad about the parcels, I thought his reaction was a bit extreme.
Sufficed to say, we weren't on good terms. That is, until late 2022, when one of my cats got stuck in their garden. My mum went to ask for help and met Sean, who was very kind and let her in to rescue my cat. She also met Levi, who was suddenly very cordial as well - a complete 180 from his past behaviour. Our relationship improved slightly after that. We exchanged phone numbers and they event sent us a Christmas card that year.
In early 2023, Sean wanted to have a chat. He was trying to sell the house but ran into a boundary problem. When the previous owners of my house built the extension, they left a small gap between the extension and the boundary line, which the previous owners of Sean's home had claimed as part of their garden. Sean was aware of this when he bought the house and even built a patio over it when he was renovating the property.
Sean had already had a previous sale fall through (house isn't mortgage-buyer friendly) and the new buyer he had was a cash buyer that would only go through with the sale if the boundary issue was sorted. He asked me to sign documents to transfer the ownership of the land to him for free. After thinking it over, I told him no via text. He never responded to me and is still trying to sell the house.
The piece of land is very small (if I had to guess, around 0.78sqm), but I was put off by him asking for it without offering anything in return. And while I'm grateful that he helped out with my cat, I couldn't help but remember his partner's past behaviour. It felt unreasonable for someone who had spent the past year giving us death stares and refusing to accept a single parcel to now ask for land for free. Additionally, I believe Sean always intended to sell the house after renovating it, so I don't understand why he didn't rectify the issue earlier when he was remodeling the garden.
I always felt justified in my decision until a friend of mine recently came to visit and noticed my neighbour's For Sale sign. While she previously supported my decision, she now thinks I'm being petty. I'm hoping to get some fresh perspective on the situation. Am I being a shite neighbour? Should I reconsider giving him the land?
