Hi, my name is Eric. I am a college senior and will graduate in Spring of 2025. I currently work as a driving instructotester, but will get a career job once I have my Bachelor’s degree (or maybe earlier if I get a decent internship). I go for runs (usually 5ks or 10ks), listen to and record my own music, and I am going to get back into strength training in just a bit when I’ll have more time to focus on it and integrate it into my life more easily.
I don’t know if I can really explain what I like about running, but it’s just something that has come very easily to me. When I do run, I just have an urge to run as fast as I think I can while still saving energy for the rest of the run. Sometimes, as soon as I finish a 5k where I really pushed myself I'll fall over in the grass the very next moment and will just lay there until my breathing returns to normal.
I don’t know if anyone can really explain what they like about music, but I’ll try. I never really listened to music until I was about 15, and when I did, I had much different tastes than I do now. As soon as I started though, I felt like I needed to learn how to play. I was watching Dr Who at the time and whoever played the Doctor at the time played electric guitar and I thought he looked so cool, and I wanted to be just like him. I was lucky enough to live in a house with a piano and a few guitars. I learned piano growing up as a much younger child which helped me have some introductory music theory understanding, but guitar just seemed so cool so that’s what I have focused on really since that time. I started listening to classic rock like The Rolling Stones and The Animals, but I haven’t longed for their music since.
Nowadays I guess I listen to Alt Rock? I guess that’s the genre they put artists in when they use guitars and drums and mostly real instruments, but they fit into any of the specific categories that have more expectations of what the album should sound like? Maybe it’s more clear to say who I listen to rather than what; my 5 favorite artists are Big Thief, Adrianne Lenker, Radiohead, Squid, and Bob Dylan (maybe I still have a bit of classic rock taste in me). Fans of Adrianne Lenker might say that it’s unfair to put her in the list twice by including Big Thief, but she is my absolute favorite human being on the planet so I don’t care (I’ll see her at Denver Mission Ballroom in July I think, and saw her last summer at Red Rocks).
I make music too, I guess I’d put myself in the alt-rock category too. I play guitar like I mentioned earlier, but I focus on electric guitar, I’ll add bass parts and drum parts to my song, and I’m learning to sing so that I can make projects that I feel are complete.
I need to get back into strength training soon, I miss what my biceps and pecs looked like a few months ago, but I’ll probably wait until I’ve finished moving in a few weeks from now. Part of it was looking nice, but honestly, there was some sense of pride and discipline I got from it that made the rest of my life easier in a way too.
I’m making this request for pen pals because I have been thinking about the upcoming school year with a lot of dread, and having someone to look forward to talking to would be reassuring. I’m 24 as of a few months ago, but I can’t afford to live on my own and pay for college for another year, so I’m moving back in with my dad for a year. I love my dad, but I don’t want to live with him, and I don’t want to move out of the city where everything feels so close and connected to suburbia which is depressingly isolating.
There are things I’ll do in the real world to manage this, like joining clubs at school, going for group hikes that are advertised online, maybe I’ll join a book club, but I’ve had pen pals before and the real connections they bring can mean a lot.

I don’t know if I can really explain what I like about running, but it’s just something that has come very easily to me. I don't really know where to put all this down, this seems like a good place.
My wife and I have been married for 13 years. We've been through a lot together, most good. I thought we were in a pretty good place. I got sick recently and couldn't continue working for several months. That's when I started to notice slight change in her behavior. She'd spend hours every day submerged on her computer, playing games with her online friends.
I don't have any problem with her hanging out with her friends, as it always seemed to make her happy. It was just the fact that from the moment she woke up around 2pm, all day, all night, and then all morning until about 7am. Just constant chatting and giggling and playing her games.
The computer was in the living room of our house, so I'd usually be watching TV when she woke up. We'd have some pleasantries before she dove right in. Headphones on and locked in. It was like that for over two months, and I just had to accept it, because any time I brought it up it'd just be brushed aside. Now I need to mention there was one guy that she played with that she told me she "had an innocent little crush on" and wanted to be able to flirt with him a little. It was just harmless fun she said. I told her I was uncomfortable with it and she gaslit me saying I was blowing it out of proportions and it wasn't serious like that or anything. Just harmless flirting. I could always tell when she was talking to him because her voice would change. Become more, I don't know, sultry?
Well, a couple months ago she decided to take a trip across the country to go visit her friend, who she hasn't seen in a few years. I had no problem with it obviously. I thought getting out of the house would do her good (she didn't work for the last several years, and even after I had to step down from my job.) I've known her friend for years, she's a great person and married with a brand new baby. Nothing to worry about.
So the day after she arrives, were texting like normal. Maybe less than normal since she was with a friend. Come that night I was on Amazon looking for something and noticed in the recently purchased was a new vibrator that could be controlled via an app. My heart kind of sunk. She didn't mention it to me, and I've never seen it. Maybe she just got it for herself? Well later on that night I was looking at photos on my phone, and I guess my phone is linked to her cloud. And the pictures she was currently in the process of taking just killed me. She doesn't send pictures like that to me. Has always refuse.
I called her and she didn't answer. Called again, and nothing. I left a voice mail telling her to call me back. After a couple hours she finally did. I told her what I had seen and her response was just as bad as the photos. She didn't care. Not one bit. It seemed like she almost found it funny. That she's been thinking lately she wants to open the marriage. That she likes being with me, but she will continue doing whatever she wants regardless if we stay together or not. That a part of her is glad she hurt me.

I'm not totally sure if this is medical malpractice or not so I am here to seek advice.
Background: I started getting sick when I was about 18 and I was diagnosed a few months after I turned 19. It took a long time to get testing done. My first specialist did not do a great job at taking care of me. Because it took so long to dignose me I ended up in the hospital. My first specialist didn't respond back for days while I was in the hospital and I was very frustrated with their care. It didn't feel like they were taking it seriously. While I was at the hospital I met my current specialist (who this post is about) they suggest their clinic which was a bit closer to me so I decided to switch specialist. It went by smoothly the first 3 months. They got me on treatment right away and I was satisfied with how quick things went.
After a few months on the treatment I can tell it wasn't working and my appointment was coming up so I thought I'd let them know during the appointment, it was canceled. No biggie. I made another one, which was 2 months out. Every single one of their appointments is about 2 months out. The day comes, it was canceled. At this point my body was shutting down and I was already not going to work. Made another one, canceled. They explained to me because I was 19, that I was still being seen through child services or something? I was so confused but that was because I use to me on my mother's health insurance plan (we have medical) and then I got my own and had to made a big switch to an adult doctor and get removed from this so call child services, still no idea what that was about. Now, 2 months later after I finally fix the child services issue and insurance. My body gives up and I end up being hospitalized. Where I saw my specialist there. They do a small procedure to check how worse I've gotten and my mayo score increased. They give me steroids and I feel a bit better, I get sent home and told to call to make an appointment with their office again I call and they are able to finally see me. I go to the office. They cancel because my insurance doesn't approve it on time. I literally break down in their office, in tears that one of the other patients their tell something to the front desk and they are able to see me. I think one more apartment was canceled after this instance and I call my insurance and they fix things for me because after that I had not one missed appointment. I had to always call them and make sure they request an authorization to see me because they neve did it on time. I basically went a whole year without seeing my specialist and wasn't on any working treatment and that's why I ended up in the hospital. Now this year, I haven't had any canceled appointments but none of the medication worked whatsoever. It seems the only thing keeping me from getting as bad as I did last year are the steroids, but I can't be on these for long. It's not a viable solution. I've been on several medication, none have worked, at least not the way they would like it to work. So now i have to do surgery. I can't help but feel that this is their fault for not seeing me for almost a year without proper treatment.
Recent issue: I was referred a surgeon this month, I called and they said they can see me for a consultation until the end of June??? But my specialist said this was urgent and I needed surgery soon or I can be at risk getting MUCH worse. So I called my specialist office again, they said we don't understand why it will take so long and they will fix it. They even noted that they give me the wrong surgeon they requested. They said they will fix it as soon as possible. I get a text from my specialist office, they said the surgeon herself would reach out to me. This was Thursday. I wait for a call Friday, nothing. This Monday I call and no one gets back to me. I finally send a text today and they finally tell me. "Oh it looks like we made a mistake". They appointment filled out the form wrong and give me wrong physician to do my surgery. Is that even possible? I imagine those forms are very detailed, how do you make a mistake so bad they give you a different doctor. The two surgeons have different names and are different sex. I'm so confused. They also asked me to stop taking all the medication, even the steroids. They told me to stop taking them 2 weeks ago because I will need surgery soon and I can't be on any medication like that before surgery. I am slowly getting worse. I am lost and completely in the dark. They send they sent in a corrected form today and it should be resolved within 72 hours. But even then, how long will it take to get seen for consultation? When will I get surgery? They told me to stop taking medication so I don't even know if I will make it until then.
Here is where i don't know if I can sue. The doctor himself never made a mistake, I feel like my specialist gave me proper care. But his staff, canceling so many appointments, not giving me any clue as to why they are being canceling, messing up important documentation, causing me to delay needed surgery. His staff are the problem, so do I have grounds to sue and should I?
Important notes: I have ulcerative colitis. When I mean I was in a horrible state last year. I mean I was using the bathroom 30 times a day. Eating once a day. Throwing up bile because I was throwing up on a empty stomach. Blood in my stool every single time I used the bathroom so i lost so much blood. I went through literal shit.
Current: I don't throw up, I am using the bathroom 8 times a day. Slowly increasing back to 10 and still blood. I know it may seem bad and according to my specialist this is still not liveable. But this is so much better then the hell I went through last year. I don't want surgery, I don't know why it had to come to surgery. I am getting a total colectomy, my whole colon is being removed. I hope this bit of information helps. Any advice is appreciated.

Soo, I'm pretty well just realizing how I've been emotionally neglected most of my life growing up. Not to mention the lack of respect my mom and sister have towards me anymore..
Tiny Background: My family has always been the "tough love" type of family. Didn't tell each other that we loved each other much, we just kinda knew we did. Didn't hear it from mom much.. never was the lovey dovey type of family with all the hugs and kisses and such. You fall over "ahhh, get up you're finee.." Never was emotionally open with each other.. if we were it somehow lead into some kind of argument.

A lot of the time growing up and even currently to this day I am deemed as the "sensitive" one. I cant take a "joke." So on and so forth.. Times I would come to my mom about things going on in my life and instead of the listening to me with support and understanding I was met with criticism or judgment. Anytime I would go to my sister to tell her things you should want to talk to your sister about and trust that she would keep in confidentiality she would break that trust and go to mom about whatever it was. And lately I have noticed that since moving out in 2020 that my family never really has checked up on me.. they don't even text to ask how I am doing, only time that I hear from them is if there is some family event that occurs in us having to talk and plan out whats going on, and who's coming or who is driving etc. Not only that but anytime I am with my family (mainly my mom and sister) I am suddenly the butt of the jokes that they make, usually including my dating life.
Most of the time I would be excited to tell my family about some new interest I have whether that be with someone new in my life or whatever new hobby I may have picked up. But it always would result in them laughing and claiming how apparently an ex of mine looked like my dad (my parents divorced when i was approximately 8yrs old) and laugh about how I have a type in the men I choose...
Something that pushed me over the edge this past 2023 family Christmas was a comment my sister made and then my mom chimed in with some other "joke"/hurtful comment. We were all playing Cards Against Humanity as we do most holidays and something about the card that I had pulled brought up the topic of my dating life.. and my sister brought up apparently having "daddy issues" and then my mom chimed in with her comment, I don't remember what she said because I was simply over here being stuck mentally about why tf my sister would make a "joke" like that, and they both were laughing about it. THAT HURT! I played the game for like 5 more mins and I said I was done and moved out of the way to sit across the room. Anyway as the day went on I was driving back home to my place from my moms since we had all carpooled at the time. And all I could think about was what my sister had said earlier that day and was bawling on the way home hurt by her "joke."
At that point I had told myself to never tell my family anything about my life that essentially had made me happy within my dating life. Cause all that they would do is "tease me" and make fun of my life and the people I was enjoying life with.
I will say that it hurts though.. cause I had dealt with this bs from my family my whole life, and to not feel safe in telling them personal things anymore has been more of a grieving process for me.
First it was my sister betraying my trust in telling her things I would think a sister would keep to herself, and continuing to even do so today. And then it was the fact that my sister and my mom now essentially team up against me anytime i see them just to make me feel like shit. Now anytime there is a family event all I can think is what bs are they gonna pull out of their asses to make fun of me this time?
I just never understood it.. why me?

Something that pushed me over the edge this past 2023 family Christmas was a comment my sister made and then my mom chimed in with some other "joke"/hurtful comment. We were all playing Cards Against Humanity as we do most holidays and something about the card that I had pulled brought up the topic of my dating life.. and my sister brought up apparently having "daddy issues" and then my mom chimed in with her comment, I don't remember what she said because I was simply over here being stuck mentally about why tf my sister would make a "joke" like that, and they both were laughing about it. THAT HURT! I played the game for like 5 more mins and I said I was done and moved out of the way to sit across the room. Anyway as the day went on I was driving back home to my place from my moms since we had all carpooled at the time. And all I could think about was what my sister had said earlier that day and was bawling on the way home hurt by her "joke."
At that point I had told myself to never tell my family anything about my life that essentially had made me happy within my dating life. Cause all that they would do is "tease me" and make fun of my life and the people I was enjoying life with.
I will say that it hurts though.. cause I had dealt with this bs from my family my whole life, and to not feel safe in telling them personal things anymore has been more of a grieving process for me.
First it was my sister betraying my trust in telling her things I would think a sister would keep to herself, and continuing to even do so today. And then it was the fact that my sister and my mom now essentially team up against me anytime i see them just to make me feel like shit. Now anytime there is a family event all I can think is what bs are they gonna pull out of their asses to make fun of me this time?

It was neglectful to say the least. They did have hammocks they had eaten to shreds. They took them down to clean the cage for me and I couldn’t even figure out how to rehang them. (They took a clip like at the end of a leash and attached it to new spots instead of just spending the money on a new one.). Some kind hearted, amazing person asked me if I had an Amazon registry which I did not. I made one, expecting NOTHING from ANYONE….. EVER. The same way I feel the life became the previous owners responsibility when they accepted ownership from the original owner. Someone in one of my groups once said that ignorance isn’t an excuse. They had been taking care of them for the original owner for around a year. They had nothing. Just so everyone’s aware, I DO NOT IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM expect ANYTHING from ANYONE.. especially the expensive items. Please for the love of god, don’t ever think I’d expect anyone to buy such things for me. A lot of the expensive items on there are just there for me. For example, the sewing machine is bc I’m teaching myself to sew bc I wanna make my own hammocks and maybe even start my own store of chinnie supplies some day!! The cages are bc ideally I’d like to get all 5 (maybe 4 & leave my girls together bc they get along just fine) one day and deck them out for each of them in time. So, when we hang out any other day, it’s usually after work for me and it’s usually just dinner and hanging out for a couple of hours. I knew that this day with the photos would take a good chunk of our day and we both wanted to make sure we had plenty of time together. The only solution we could come up with would be to take the day off. I ended up taking the day off.
Well, yesterday morning, at 7am, he texts me saying he’s taking his sister to the ER and that we need to reschedule the original time we had planned. I responded saying “hope everything is okay, keep me updated”. And then I hadn’t heard from him all day. I called him, texted him and nothing. He then updates me, 9 hours later that his sister fell and hit her head. I expressed my concern and wished for her speedy recovery. I then asked him to call me when he had chance. He calls, and we talked for about 10 minutes. He said sorry for not saying anything and that his phone was on silent and didn’t want to talk to anyone and that he couldn’t focus on anything else.
I’m not mad that he couldn’t meet up, obviously his sister is injured, so he says. It’s the communication. He has actually used the ER excuse as a reason in the past when we had made plans. One time he claimed to have been in the ER for chest pain and didn’t tell me until midnight, claimed it’s too hard to think when you’re in that kind of situation. Another time, we were supposed to go on a birthday weekend getaway, he had gone to the ER and it had gotten canceled. One time he was supposed to see me, he claimed he needed to help his friend with something and couldn’t meet up. So, Idk, it seems weird something like this happens constantly when we have plans.
We actually broke up 3 months ago because of his communication problems. He didn’t talk to me for 10 days after losing his job, he basically acted like I didn’t exist to him and that he was dealing with his issues and that I shouldn’t be upset with him. I broke up with him for this. Then 2 months later, he reached out again, apologized for everything and promised to work on it and that he still loves me. I decided to give him another chance, and things were good, up until today.

We started off long distance, it was hard on us at first I've always been very faithful and loyal but I'm sure it was harder on him. I'm from a small town, never dated around, and every time I dated I've always been focused on one person instead of dating/talking to multiple people at once. He however, is an incredibly handsome man who dated around A LOT and is very used to talking to multiple women. His whole career is based on his looks so he is always surrounded by beautiful women as well. Our relationship moved relatively fast and he moved me into his house a couple months later. We have honestly been so so good, I can tell he loves and cares for me a lot and his mom has told me how serious he is about me. We have talked about a future together, and are planning a lot of things for the future, which is why I'm so shaken up when I found this out. Basically the texts were him asking her to come over to talk, and them hanging out, and ended with her telling him that she doesn't like how he's treating her and he said sorry and that's that. I know they had a short-lived romantic history because he's told me about her before, but he said that there was no overlap. The text messages I found were a couple days into our relationship so clearly there WAS an overlap.

Armenia could become the leader in democracy in all of Eastern Europe if you consider the situation in Georgia, Hungary, and Slovakia [pro-Russia populist leader]. Armenia could receive an unprecedented level of assistance from Europe under those circumstances.
REPORTER: Did Pashinyan say he plans to leave CSTO?
KHZMALYAN: We did not demand specific dates but we urged him to complete all these processes this year, preferably by November.
REPORTER: Did Pashinyan agree?
KHZMALYAN: The participants of the meeting are under the impression that we were able to present convincing arguments but time will show what actions he takes. The government functions very poorly but nevertheless, they are doing something, they are taking steps.
REPORTER: On May 9, Bagrat Galstanyan gave Pashinyan 1 hour to resign but it's May 21 and he is still here. Why wasn't the opposition able to remove him?
KHZMALYAN: The 3 former presidents and their surrogate forces, backed by 30 years of power, were unable to bring forward a figurehead, a single ideology, that could win the hearts of the people. They used various political technologies, they switched between black and white robes, and they extended the 1 hour to 7 days, but none of that helped because the Armenian people hate them more than they hate Nikol Pashinyan.
REPORTER: You used to be a lot harsher on Pashinyan but something appears to have changed in your tone after your recent meeting with him. What is the reason?
KHZMALYAN: We were able to present our demands and the timelines to accomplish them. Unlike the archbishop and the former regimes surrounding him, we did not give "one hour" for Pashinyan to accept our demands; we did not make ultimatums. We believe the current government is carrying out and will carry out the will of the people to overcome the status of a Russian colony and join the ranks of free nations. We did and do see steps [taken by the government] towards this; we cannot ignore this. We saw the Strassbourg, but also Moscow. We saw the [April 5 meeting in] Brussels, but also [the recent meeting between FMs in] Almaty. We are told this is an attempt to "balance" and we understand where they are coming from, but our factions speak on behalf of over 60% of Armenians who view Russia's policies as deadly for Armenia. We expect concrete actions and we have formed a platform to continue this work; there will be petitions and other actions from us. We are ready to assist Pashinyan, who may be constrained due to ongoing negotiations, by being the public voice and saying the things he cannot say. REPORTER: They plan to hold a big rally on May 26 where they might nominate Bagrat srbazan as the PM's candidate to replace Pashinyan.
ALEXANYAN: Why not go straight for [alleged narco baron] Mihran Poghosyan [who publicly praised the protests]?
REPORTER: There appears to be a consensus around Bagrat srbazan after a meeting between several forces.
ALEXANYAN: Consensus minus one, where "minus one" is the people. Or to be more precise, "minus two", because the Constitution also prohibits Bagrat from serving as a prime minister. Congratulations on an initiative that's dead on arrival. It's absurd. They suggested replacing the Constitution to allow a dual citizen to serve as PM. Okay... To get Canadian citizenship you have to take an oath to serve the best interests of Canada. To allow dual citizens to serve as PM in Armenia we have to accept for the PM to have loyalty towards another state. REPORTER: But don't you think you are manipulating because Galstanyan received Canadian citizenship just to be able to serve in the church in Canada? He didn't go there to live or conduct business.
ALEXANYAN: It doesn't matter why he went to Canada. He is a citizen of Canada and took an oath. Even religious leaders with dual citizenship cannot become prime ministers. I don't have an issue with him being a dual citizen, but it limits his office options. He still hasn't renounced his Canadian citizenship even after all these talks about a possible nomination.
REPORTER: Galstanyan said he is ready to renounce it as soon as there is a need for it.
ALEXANYAN: In other words, he seeks "guarantees" that he will be the candidate in order to renounce it?

KHZMALYAN (European Party of Armenia): The referendum is our suggestion and demand. We presented it to Pashinyan and expect a response within a reasonable timeframe. We advised making a public statement soon. A referendum would also make Pashinyan's job easier by allowing the people's will to decide Armenia's direction.REPORTER: How did Pashinyan respond?

KHZMALYAN: A few months. Georgia will hold parliamentary elections in October, and Moldova will hold a similar Eurointegration referendum - also in October. The U.S. will hold presidential elections in November which will be important for Armenia's future. Even if the worst scenario unfolds in all three countries, Armenia must stand firm and not take a step back. Armenia could become the leader in democracy in all of Eastern Europe if you consider the situation in Georgia, Hungary, and Slovakia [pro-Russia populist leader]. Armenia could receive an unprecedented level of assistance from Europe under those circumstances.
REPORTER: Did Pashinyan say he plans to leave CSTO?
KHZMALYAN: We did not demand specific dates but we urged him to complete all these processes this year, preferably by November.
REPORTER: Did Pashinyan agree?
KHZMALYAN: The participants of the meeting are under the impression that we were able to present convincing arguments but time will show what actions he takes. The government functions very poorly but nevertheless, they are doing something, they are taking steps.
REPORTER: On May 9, Bagrat Galstanyan gave Pashinyan 1 hour to resign but it's May 21 and he is still here. Why wasn't the opposition able to remove him?
KHZMALYAN: The 3 former presidents and their surrogate forces, backed by 30 years of power, were unable to bring forward a figurehead, a single ideology, that could win the hearts of the people. They used various political technologies, they switched between black and white robes, and they extended the 1 hour to 7 days, but none of that helped because the Armenian people hate them more than they hate Nikol Pashinyan.
REPORTER: You used to be a lot harsher on Pashinyan but something appears to have changed in your tone after your recent meeting with him. What is the reason?
KHZMALYAN: We were able to present our demands and the timelines to accomplish them. Unlike the archbishop and the former regimes surrounding him, we did not give "one hour" for Pashinyan to accept our demands; we did not make ultimatums. We believe the current government is carrying out and will carry out the will of the people to overcome the status of a Russian colony and join the ranks of free nations. We did and do see steps [taken by the government] towards this; we cannot ignore this. We saw the Strassbourg, but also Moscow. We saw the [April 5 meeting in] Brussels, but also [the recent meeting between FMs in] Almaty. We are told this is an attempt to "balance" and we understand where they are coming from, but our factions speak on behalf of over 60% of Armenians who view Russia's policies as deadly for Armenia. We expect concrete actions and we have formed a platform to continue this work; there will be petitions and other actions from us. We are ready to assist Pashinyan, who may be constrained due to ongoing negotiations, by being the public voice and saying the things he cannot say. We will continue to work, to pressure, to influence, to demand. Our meetings also continue abroad. We will press on until we reach our goal - the Eurointegration of Armenia. //

REPORTER: The opposition created a video of "Pashinyan's lies" and broken promises. Will you respond?
ALEXANYAN: The clip itself is a lie and manipulation. For example, one of the supposed lies was Pashinyan's promise of an amnesty for overdue fines and penalties. You are a journalist, you tell me, was there an amnesty or not?
REPORTER: Pashinyan had also said that POWs could wait "just a few more months" and that he wouldn't "sacrifice Armenia's sovereignty" in exchange for bringing them back sooner. Why aren't they back?
ALEXANYAN: Dozens of POWs returned home in December, and efforts continue to bring back the rest. Literally 1-2 days before the POWs' return, the opposition claimed that the POWs were "forgotten" by the government. "Ոչ մի բան չեք անում:"

ALEXANYAN: There are efforts to return them as well.
REPORTER: Why did the police form a wall to block entry to village Kirants [for nonresidents]?
ALEXANYAN: I think the NSS said they had to take action to prevent interference with the border work. From what I can tell, the protest leader himself went there yesterday and returned only 15 minutes later so there wasn't a big desire to stay there apparently.
REPORTER: They plan to hold a big rally on May 26 where they might nominate Bagrat srbazan as the PM's candidate to replace Pashinyan.
ALEXANYAN: Why not go straight for [alleged narco baron] Mihran Poghosyan [who publicly praised the protests]?
REPORTER: There appears to be a consensus around Bagrat srbazan after a meeting between several forces.
ALEXANYAN: Consensus minus one, where "minus one" is the people. Or to be more precise, "minus two", because the Constitution also prohibits Bagrat from serving as a prime minister. Congratulations on an initiative that's dead on arrival. It's absurd. They suggested replacing the Constitution to allow a dual citizen to serve as PM. Okay... To get Canadian citizenship you have to take an oath to serve the best interests of Canada. To allow dual citizens to serve as PM in Armenia we have to accept for the PM to have loyalty towards another state. The alternative is for the candidate [Bagrat] to admit that his word [oath to Canada] wasn't worth a dime. Երևի մատերը խաչ արած ա երդվել։
REPORTER: But don't you think you are manipulating because Galstanyan received Canadian citizenship just to be able to serve in the church in Canada? He didn't go there to live or conduct business.
ALEXANYAN: It doesn't matter why he went to Canada. He is a citizen of Canada and took an oath. Even religious leaders with dual citizenship cannot become prime ministers. I don't have an issue with him being a dual citizen, but it limits his office options. He still hasn't renounced his Canadian citizenship even after all these talks about a possible nomination.
REPORTER: Galstanyan said he is ready to renounce it as soon as there is a need for it.
ALEXANYAN: In other words, he seeks "guarantees" that he will be the candidate in order to renounce it?

Decided the best advice would be from commpletely unbiased redditors and hopefully anyone in a similar situation.
2 weeks ago me and my ex broke up after 2 years, the initial discussions around her feelings changing where 8 weeks ago (mid march)
She said that I had no confidence in our relationship and any sign of arguments I would ask if we’re okay. She also said that I made her my whole world. The last 12 months I’ve been busy pursuing hobbies (MMA and my first fight) also a new career, so I thought we had separate lives and I wasn’t that guy who made her my whole life but I do see how aspects of that are true. I have through therapy learnt I’m anxiously attached.
However the reason I’m asking and explaining is because I don’t know if I should just let it go now. We initially had a few days space and due to my upset I broke that space several times in the first few days, this turned into her wanting two weeks of space. After the two weeks and me being a moron and confessing my love and how much I didn’t want this and how much I’d change she said she felt it was only fair to break up as she didn’t know how she felt, however she suggested we try dating again, We tried this however I couldn’t process the change in dynamic/no intimacy/not seeing each otheno warmth from her, complete different version I essentially could not be chill as ultimately I didn’t want the break up.
So after our last date she got upset and said she felt too much pressure on herself to not hurt me again and said that we should fully break up. She said she needed a few days and I respected it, after 10 days we met and she broke things off for good.
I expressed how I wanted her to block me from all social media from her side so that I could heal, she said she didn’t want to do that and didn’t feel the need.
This conversation was around 4 hours where we both discussed why it had happened, what we could do different and interestingly enough how that if we did get back together now things would be different. This 8 week period we’ve both bettered our fitness/careers/social life and started to make changes we both wanted to make this year.
Throughout these conversations I’ve always asked if she still loved me and up until this point she had always said “ she has love for me” however during this final chat she out of the blue said she did still love me but this is the best thing for right now. She also expressed how in an ideal world she’d ask me to wait for her for 2 months to get her head straight however we both agreed that wasn’t possible and unfair.
It’s now been 2 weeks since the breakup and shortly after I told her I’ve reconsidered and I do feel positive about our future and that I would be willing to wait, she said she agreed with this and also felt the same, I haven’t text/seen/called her at all since then, the only update is that she has now blocked me from her instagram story’s and deleted 1 of our 8 posts randomly. We now haven’t had intimacy for 8 weeks and I’m just very confused as to what to do, everyday is anxiety and hurt and I’m very much doubting she’ll come back

About a month ago my ex (29m) broke up with me (26f) after 4 years in the worst possible way. The night before we said goodbye and he texted me that he would be at a show. Next thing you know he doesn’t come home and disappeared for 20+ hours. When I finally get a hold of him after thinking he was dead he texted me "I think we should break up". I was livid and called him screaming to face me because he is a coward. When he did come back home he reeked of booze and couldn’t stop crying saying things weren’t lining up for us and he was falling out of love. We cried and he left to stay at his friends place and he said I love you. A few days pass and I have this nagging feeling there is someone else. He comes back home, I beg him to work things out and he is closed off and still very emotional. We do this a few times until one night he comes over and we get into a big fight because I know he likes someone else, one thing leads to another and we end up having sex and he tells me after that he cheated on me the night before he broke up with me. He also confesses that he is falling in love with her and that she knows about me and that we live together etc.

He is still full of guilt and he keeps saying he wants to make things right with me and wants me in his life forever and be my creative partner and collaborate in the future. He says that he still loves me but "not like that" or when I ask him if he still has romantic feelings for me he says "not right now". I am moving out in a week but I still want to make it work despite him dating someone else. He is the avoidant type so I know he is using her in part to numb the pain. They do drugs together (cocaine/molly) and knowing him he is love bombing her. I can’t see a relationship based on betrayal becoming genuine.

First of all sorry for my bad English, it’s not my mother’s tongue. Also it’s kinda long but there’s really a lot to say since it’s something that’s been going on for years.
I (19F) have been friend with this girl (19F) since we were 12. We were really close when we were 15 but drift appart when we entered high school cause we didn’t go to the same one (different city with like 2h away from each others). But we were still close. I considered her my bestfriend for a long time.
On day, when we were 16, we went on a week vacation at the beach (my parents had a small appartement there that they rent for the Holliday) with our friend groups, we’re five girls. Everything was fine when all of a sudden she snapped at me for being on my phone and not listening to the conv the 4 of them were having. I was really surprised because I thought everything was fine, cause I was in fact listening to there conv, I was just not talking. She started telling me how I seemed unintrested in their conv, about their life and everything. And I was very surprised cause I was in fact interested in everything that she listed. The only thing I wasn’t interested in was whatever they were smoking cause I’ve never smocked once in my life and never will. Things started getting worse and I ended up leaving back to where we were staying, cause I was angry at her for not understating that me not talking didn’t mean that I wasn’t happy to be there with them. I actually had a big panic attack back at the appartement .
Things I didn’t know at that time was that I had depression. That explains a lot of why I didn’t really talked to anyone, didn’t mean that I wasn’t interested in their life, even if it was thing I didn’t enjoy at all, like drinking, talking about boys / sex, getting high, and everything. I was still interested because I loved the 4 of them and they made me happy and that was enough for me. But it wasn’t for her.
Anyway we didn’t really talked to each others till the end of the vacation. She apologized at the end of the summer, while she was drunk. We didn’t really see each other’s for the next year cause I changed school and we were even more far appart.
Anyway we had this groupe chat with the 5 of us for years literally, and we talked on this gc every single day.
As I said before I’ve never been the type of person to talk a lot since nothing really interesting happened in my life, and I had undiagnosed depression. But I’ve always been the listener type of friend.
But as we entered uni (all in different places again) we started talking less and less on this gc At least they did Cause I’ve never talked much I assumed that it was because they were very busy with their life at uni and everything that could go in their personal life too.
Anyway, at that time my depression started getting worse an worse I was having a hard time at work and at uni I tried my best to stay alive (literally) And so I didn’t have time to talk to anyone, cause I literally wasn’t mentally stable enough to even take care of myself properly. This lasted for a year.
Fast forward this year, she told us on the gc that she was pregnant. I started crying, I was so happy for her, I was so happy to finally have some news on this gc. A few weeks passed and I had no news about her pregnancy. I thought about her everyday but I was so busy with school and so depressed that I didn’t send any text.
This honestly is my biggest regret ever, cause I really wanted to send her a text, but the fight we had a few summer before was so bad that I was too scared to talk to her.
Anyway, I finally started taking antidepressant after years being undiagnosed and literally suicidal (not really but I had suicidal thoughts) for years. I started feeling better and was finally able to talk with other people.
They were the first person I told about my depression. They were the first person I reached out to. I was so happy to finally be able to properly apologize for not really being there, and being silence for a long time. Mind you I was silent but I was still watching every single of their stories, wishing them the best and everything. I also asked them how they were doing and especially how she was doing with her pregnancy. They saw my message and like talked like for 2 minutes and that was it. No « I hope you’re ok », no « im glad you finally know what was wrong » nothing. The only thing they told me was the she was waiting for a girl. I was so happy for her.
They didn’t talk for another month till I send another text again, asking about them, how they were doing, how her pregnancy was going. I got no answer from her. I was feeling so bad, cause I knew it was my fault for not reaching out sooner, but at the same time I was incapable of doing so. But I still feel horrible for loosing her like that.
Fast forward 2 weeks ago. I changed my antidepressant medication, took stronger ones cause those I had weren’t strong enough. So I’ve been on medication for 3 months now, and 2 weeks with the new ones.
A few days ago I discovered via their private stories that they have a separate group chat without me, where they are talking every day. And here I was waiting for them to tell me when they were available for us to see each others again after months of not being able to, like I asked them to tell me.
How am I supposed to ask them question if they don’t update me anymore about anything ??? And what am I supposed to do if when I’m asking they don’t reply ???? I honestly felt broken, cause I for really thought that the reason they weren’t talking to our gc anymore was cause they were too busy with they life like I was. Turns out they have a whole ass gc without me where they talk not only everyday but also use to decide when to hand out together. They never asked me once when I was available to hang out with them. Cause I would have gladly clean up my schedule to finally see them again, and finally see Her pregnant. But they didn’t think of asking me.
Anyway today was what really made me feel like an asshole. As I said i have new medication. But this one give me really bad side effects. I have a really hard time breathing, I feel like vomiting, my head is spinning all the time, and above all my chest hurts. So today I called my therapist and she told me to immediately quite my medication. The thing is, my family has heart problems. And she think that’s probably what is happening to me. So today not only did I learn that I had to stop what was finally letting me smile for once, but also that I probably had heart problems and that I have to see a cardiologist as soon as possible. That shit scared me asf as you can imagine.
I got out of work and immediately decided to text them, cause first I wanted to update them on my life, but I also wanted to have updates on theirs. They didn’t say anything, only one of them did. She was there and She saw my text and the only thing she told me when I told Her “I’m sad that I’m the only one who still hasn’t seen you pregnant, I’m sorry I was so busy with work and school, I wanna see you so bad, I hope I’ll be at least able to come the day you give birth”, to not to bother to come see her the day she’ll give birth cause it’s gonna be « to hard for me to come anyway since of my work and my lack of money » (cause mind you she lives very far away from me). I told her it was no problem and that I wanted to be there, but she told me there’s no need to bother. And I know it’s her saying she doesn’t wanna see me anymore. So yeah. That was kinda a long story. But yeah, I’m really sad I wasn’t able to be there for her pregnancy, but I was so depressed it was too hard for me. I don’t expect her to forgive me, but I at least would have liked for her to understand my situation the way I understand why she’s upset.

I (19F) have been friend with this girl (19F) since we were 12. We were really close when we were 15 but drift appart when we entered high school cause we didn’t go to the same one (different city with like 2h away from each others). But we were still close. I considered her my bestfriend for a long time.
On day, when we were 16, we went on a week vacation at the beach (my parents had a small appartement there that they rent for the Holliday) with our friend groups, we’re five girls. Everything was fine when all of a sudden she snapped at me for being on my phone and not listening to the conv the 4 of them were having. I was really surprised because I thought everything was fine, cause I was in fact listening to there conv, I was just not talking. She started telling me how I seemed unintrested in their conv, about their life and everything. And I was very surprised cause I was in fact interested in everything that she listed. The only thing I wasn’t interested in was whatever they were smoking cause I’ve never smocked once in my life and never will. Things started getting worse and I ended up leaving back to where we were staying, cause I was angry at her for not understating that me not talking didn’t mean that I wasn’t happy to be there with them. I actually had a big panic attack back at the appartement .
Things I didn’t know at that time was that I had depression. That explains a lot of why I didn’t really talked to anyone, didn’t mean that I wasn’t interested in their life, even if it was thing I didn’t enjoy at all, like drinking, talking about boys / sex, getting high, and everything. I was still interested because I loved the 4 of them and they made me happy and that was enough for me. But it wasn’t for her.
Anyway we didn’t really talked to each others till the end of the vacation. She apologized at the end of the summer, while she was drunk. We didn’t really see each other’s for the next year cause I changed school and we were even more far appart.
Anyway we had this groupe chat with the 5 of us for years literally, and we talked on this gc every single day.
As I said before I’ve never been the type of person to talk a lot since nothing really interesting happened in my life, and I had undiagnosed depression. But I’ve always been the listener type of friend.
But as we entered uni (all in different places again) we started talking less and less on this gc At least they did Cause I’ve never talked much I assumed that it was because they were very busy with their life at uni and everything that could go in their personal life too.
Anyway, at that time my depression started getting worse an worse I was having a hard time at work and at uni I tried my best to stay alive (literally) And so I didn’t have time to talk to anyone, cause I literally wasn’t mentally stable enough to even take care of myself properly. This lasted for a year.
Fast forward this year, she told us on the gc that she was pregnant. I started crying, I was so happy for her, I was so happy to finally have some news on this gc. A few weeks passed and I had no news about her pregnancy. I thought about her everyday but I was so busy with school and so depressed that I didn’t send any text.
This honestly is my biggest regret ever, cause I really wanted to send her a text, but the fight we had a few summer before was so bad that I was too scared to talk to her.
Anyway, I finally started taking antidepressant after years being undiagnosed and literally suicidal (not really but I had suicidal thoughts) for years. I started feeling better and was finally able to talk with other people.
They were the first person I told about my depression. They were the first person I reached out to. I was so happy to finally be able to properly apologize for not really being there, and being silence for a long time. Mind you I was silent but I was still watching every single of their stories, wishing them the best and everything. I also asked them how they were doing and especially how she was doing with her pregnancy. They saw my message and like talked like for 2 minutes and that was it. No « I hope you’re ok », no « im glad you finally know what was wrong » nothing. The only thing they told me was the she was waiting for a girl. I was so happy for her.
They didn’t talk for another month till I send another text again, asking about them, how they were doing, how her pregnancy was going. I got no answer from her. I was feeling so bad, cause I knew it was my fault for not reaching out sooner, but at the same time I was incapable of doing so. But I still feel horrible for loosing her like that.
Fast forward 2 weeks ago. I changed my antidepressant medication, took stronger ones cause those I had weren’t strong enough. So I’ve been on medication for 3 months now, and 2 weeks with the new ones.
A few days ago I discovered via their private stories that they have a separate group chat without me, where they are talking every day. And here I was waiting for them to tell me when they were available for us to see each others again after months of not being able to, like I asked them to tell me.
How am I supposed to ask them question if they don’t update me anymore about anything ??? And what am I supposed to do if when I’m asking they don’t reply ???? I honestly felt broken, cause I for really thought that the reason they weren’t talking to our gc anymore was cause they were too busy with they life like I was. Turns out they have a whole ass gc without me where they talk not only everyday but also use to decide when to hand out together. They never asked me once when I was available to hang out with them. Cause I would have gladly clean up my schedule to finally see them again, and finally see Her pregnant. But they didn’t think of asking me.
Anyway today was what really made me feel like an asshole. As I said i have new medication. But this one give me really bad side effects. I have a really hard time breathing, I feel like vomiting, my head is spinning all the time, and above all my chest hurts. So today I called my therapist and she told me to immediately quite my medication. The thing is, my family has heart problems. And she think that’s probably what is happening to me. So today not only did I learn that I had to stop what was finally letting me smile for once, but also that I probably had heart problems and that I have to see a cardiologist as soon as possible. That shit scared me asf as you can imagine.
I got out of work and immediately decided to text them, cause first I wanted to update them on my life, but I also wanted to have updates on theirs. They didn’t say anything, only one of them did. About a month ago my ex (29m) broke up with me (26f) after 4 years in the worst possible way. The night before we said goodbye and he texted me that he would be at a show. Next thing you know he doesn’t come home and disappeared for 20+ hours. When I finally get a hold of him after thinking he was dead he texted me "I think we should break up". I was livid and called him screaming to face me because he is a coward. When he did come back home he reeked of booze and couldn’t stop crying saying things weren’t lining up for us and he was falling out of love. We cried and he left to stay at his friends place and he said I love you. A few days pass and I have this nagging feeling there is someone else. He comes back home, I beg him to work things out and he is closed off and still very emotional. We do this a few times until one night he comes over and we get into a big fight because I know he likes someone else, one thing leads to another and we end up having sex and he tells me after that he cheated on me the night before he broke up with me. He also confesses that he is falling in love with her and that she knows about me and that we live together etc.

I am moving out in a week but I still want to make it work despite him dating someone else. He is the avoidant type so I know he is using her in part to numb the pain. They do drugs together (cocaine/molly) and knowing him he is love bombing her. I can’t see a relationship based on betrayal becoming genuine.

Rick had a seizure.
I had made dinner, and we were enjoying a postprandial smoke on the front porch. Rick suddenly said he felt funny, then nodded off and started twitching. His eyes remained open, but he was unresponsive, and piss started running out the bottom of the leg of his shorts.
When Rick woke up, I asked him if he would be willing to go to the hospital, and he said he wasn't. I wanted to go inside, but I felt compelled to wait until he either got his shit together and stood up, or got his shit together and died. I was committed to watching over him right up until the moment when he threw up a mixture of Natty Daddy and my signature twice-cooked coffee-rubbed St. Louis cut spare ribs down the front of his shirt and into his lap.
That reminds me, the ribs came out really good. I saved you some.
I almost followed suit and lost my own dinner. It was at this point I decided I had done all that could reasonably be expected of me, and I withdrew to my chambers.
He approached my door after a while and asked for suggestions on what to use to clean it up. I told him to start with the snow shovel, and told him where to find a roll of paper towels. When I worked up the fortitude to venture outside the safety of my room, he was just returning the snow shovel to the back stoop.
He got most of it, but it's still gross. I covered it up temporarily with paper towels weighed down with a doormat; I'll expose it to the elements overnight, and have a go at it in the morning when it's dried out a little.
Rick then had a second, less serious episode. I tried again to get him to agree to medical attention, but he still refused. He managed to make it up to his room. I believe the episodes are related to untreated diabetes. I'm reasonably certain that the reason he doesn't want to see a doctor is that they will identify and attempt to treat his alcoholism.

to keep it hopefully short- i’m the ASM for my store and a shift leader complained about me to our Area Manager.
there was a company event i attended that this person also attended though they came later in the night.
apparently i had made a comment about his body that made him uncomfortable but can’t seem to recall any comments made to or about him; and no one i was with at the event can recall either. (the event was a competition i was competing in so i was away from most people making drinks a lot of the night) i had also left early to go home since i was working the next day
i was informed of all of this today at work, and my area manager is more or less on my side because she isn’t sure what happened either. he had told our area manager as well that he’s uncomfortable being around me and working with me
this person then sent me a text tonight saying he’ll never trust me again and will only speak to me professionally (which is fine we only ever talked at work about mundane things) and that i can’t respond to his text and he won’t “hear any of my reasoning or apology”
im honestly at a loss for words at this whole situation and kinda just needed to vent it out- im 100% willing to apologize im also just confused on what i said exactly- i don’t want this person to be uncomfortable in anyway but now i won’t have the chance to even speak with them
