Joshua Hanely of TikTok claims he retired as an E12 (See video) Well, his speech indicates he is an American and unfortunately for him, there is no such thing as an E12. Even when considering that there are multiple grades of E9 in the various branches of US Military Service, one cannot possibly count to 12. At most there are three grades of E9, which would produce 11 ranks. Unless he is counting the two types of E4 in the US Army as in the Specialist and the Corporal. So he may have counted the number of Enlisted US Army ranks and got 12 and thus claimed to be an E12. Counting another way, he could have gotten E13, but regardless, E9 is the highest enlisted pay grade.
Claiming to be an E12 in the US Army would make him the Sargent Major of the Army using the funny math above, and he would no doubt have many webpages mentioning him in this role. A simple Google search reveals that Joshua Hanely is unknown beyond his stolen valor statement.
If he was simply trying to be a TikTok troll, he did it in one of the most dishonorable ways possible.

2024.05.21 10:54 WhatIfMamatayNaLang god im so heartbroken. i failed all my subjects this sem

napakasakit. sobrang sakit. im such a failure i dont know how to face my family and friends.
for context, im a 2nd yr civil engineering student who is also working full time at a bpo company in graveyard shift.
i am the most studious person you’ll ever meet. alam yan ng mga kaklase ko, lalong lalo na ng mga kadorm ko. hindi ako natutulog, magdamag nakaupo sa table at nagsosolve. sometimes even while working, pinagsasabay ko pagsolve sa concerns ng customer while also solving my own fucking problem sets.
i have sacrificed hundreds of sleepless nights para lang makapasok ng maaga kinabukasan. i would always pull an all nighter for my quizzes and exams.
and yet, here i am. still a failure.
i just want to die.
ps. hindi ako nagfull units this sem, since hindi kaya yung tuition fee financially. ako lang naman gumagawa ng paraan para makabayad ako ng tuition. i only took 6 subjects, major pa lahat (in my uni’s curriculum, second year second sem has a total of 11 subjects, 9 majors and 2 minors- advanced math and PE). so 6 out of 6 subjects, bagsak.

2024.05.21 10:39 Abject_Ad_1082 My racist teacher died of an overdose, and I feel she got what she deserved in the end.

Well, everything started in 2012 when I was in elementary school, and a new math teacher was transferred to my school. At first, no one knew anything about her; we only knew she had been transferred from her old school after being on leave for some time. From her first class, she exhibited strange behavior, and none of the students really understood what she was doing (we had just started elementary school and were 10 and 11-year-old kids). The first red flags were when she divided the classroom in half: one half was for white students and the other for black students. Even though I was white, I felt very bad because the students on the other side of the room began to be treated differently. It started with her ignoring those students' questions. They really tried to ask for help, but she just ignored them. After some time, during tests and homework submissions, the humiliation began. She started to insult all the black students whenever they couldn't complete a task or scored poorly on tests. The insults were always very "masked"; she would always say, "You will never be anything in life," or "When you grow up, you'll be garbage collectors or drug dealers." Most of us didn't really understand what was happening because we were just kids who had just left fifth grade. But everything got worse when the teacher found her favorite student, Francis. Francis was the only white and blonde boy in the class. Since the teacher created this bizarre fixation on Francis, the lives of all the other students became hell. At this point, she started to humiliate all the students except Francis. The first thing she did to me was when I handed in my homework, and she accused me, without any proof, of copying from Francis (I was the best-performing math student in my class, and that year I was even selected to compete in a regional school competition called the Math Olympics). I tried to argue that I hadn't copied, but she simply tore up my homework and said, "You are very arrogant and will be a failure." When she said that to me, I was furious and had no reaction. In the following days, my life turned into real hell. A few weeks before school started, I had been hospitalized for a severe urinary infection, and the doctors told me not to hold my urine for long periods because it could increase the occurrence of urinary infections. I went to the bathroom twice per class because I couldn't hold it anymore. But from the day she humiliated me, she forbade me from going to the bathroom, even after I informed her about my condition. When I told her that, she shouted to the class, "This mommy's boy can't handle anything." When she said that, I had a fit of rage, threw all my materials at the board, and screamed with all my might, "I hate you," then ran out of the classroom straight to the bathroom. That same day, my mother was called to the school, and when I told the principal the whole story of what had been happening, I only received a warning. The principal asked me to leave the room to talk privately with my mother. When I left the room, the principal begged my mother not to file a complaint against the teacher and told her the real reason she had been transferred. He told my mother that Mrs. Rosa had lost her 12-year-old daughter in an accident. Since that happened, she had been on psychological leave for six months and requested a transfer to another school, which is why she behaved that way (which, to me, does not justify any of her behavior). After this incident, the school year was a true nightmare; it was truly my worst year in math. Fast forward 10 years to 2022, when I was already in college, I met my English teacher again. Since school, I had always been her favorite student, and she lived in the same neighborhood as me. After finishing high school, I became good friends with my English teacher, and we often met for coffee. I would tell her about the news from college, and she would tell me about her students. During one of these meetings, she told me that Mrs. Rosa had passed away in 2020 due to an overdose. She told me that since 2013, Mrs. Rosa had struggled with substance abuse, and in 2020, she was found dead in her home. Even after everything that happened, my feelings are very confused about this whole story. Sometimes I feel a bit of empathy, and sometimes I feel she got what she deserved in the end.

2024.05.21 10:15 where_do_i_start8297 I had an incontinence problem as a kid and while I no longer have the issue, I haven't recovered from it.

When I was in first and second grade the teachers wouldn't let us use the bathroom for extended periods of time, sometimes the entire day. They would make up these stupid ass rules like only 1 person could go at a time and no one could go for 10 minutes after that person got back. We had hall passes that got taken away from us if we were being "bad". I was a kid who drank a LOT of water and needed to use the restroom regularly. I became a kid who would piss themselves because we weren't allowed to use the restroom and I physically couldn't hold it anymore. Up until 5th grade, when we moved from elementary to middle school, I had to wear diapers or some sort of underwear because I would end up pissing myself while waiting to use the restroom.
I just fucking hate public school systems and the freaks who think rules like this make sense. Not letting children not use the restroom??? Insanity. I don't blame myself, I physically could not follow their rules because my body did not want to. I remember being bullied for it, I remember being constantly stressed at school, and of course I remember waiting and waiting and at some points crying and begging to use the restroom while teachers would laugh at me and say no.
I wish adults weren't so fucking cruel. I fucking hate the abusive, controlling people who decide to go into professions that have other people relying on them. Fuck you. You traumatized the actual piss out of me when I was a child. No wonder why I remember wanting to learn but hating school and slowly becoming afraid of people. No wonder I developed social anxiety. You knew I didn't know how to communicate my needs and concerns to my parents so you could abuse me AND OTHERS more. Using the restroom is a physical need not a "privilege" as y'all would always tell me. Fuck you so god damn hard. Hope that old bitch who used to tell me that in 1st grade is dead. I'd piss on her grave if I could.

2024.05.21 10:07 Tragedy-of-Fives Help regarding highschool exam requirements College Questions

I have given the IBDP exams and UCSB mentioned that I need a 4 in every subject at the minimum to pass the requirements. I am sure I will meet the overall requirement(30 points) by a comfortable margin of 3-4 points due to my perfect grades in Physics and Computer Science and high ones in math and Economics. I have consistently been a 4 in Spanish since the start of 11th but I have a feeling that in my final exams I might get a 3 in spanish. Will they rescind my offer of admission? Can i do something to help? UCSB is my top choice and I'd really not want to lose my chances of studying there over a bad grade in spanish(something ive always been bad at)

2024.05.21 09:58 ThrowRA_Amy- Failing alg 2. What do I do now

Let’s keep this short and sweet. I suck at math. Always have. I ask questions and do my assignments. Still suck. I managed to pass all the grading periods of algebra 2 (I’m a junior yes) but up until now, the FINAL grading period I’m failing. Or going to at least. I have a C- right now and my final exam is tomorrow and I know I am not passing. I just know it. Couldn’t answer a single question on the review sheet.
Basically all I’m asking is if I pass all the grading periods except for the final one am I going to need to do anything about it? If so, what?
Figured it was better to ask some strangers on Reddit since my school advisors take over three months to answer simple E-Mails.

2024.05.21 09:54 Formal-Argument7349 Have you ever had a teacher a kid u didn't realize was a weird ass person until u were older?

In my school, we had a Bible program. Yes. They taught religion in school and it was completely funded by "parents and charity." We had a teacher named Kevin Morrow. To me, even as a kid, he was weird. I never decided to be in Bible until HS. It was normal. Jesus this, Moses that. I dropped out, got a G.E.D. at 16, college at 17 and I'm now an engineer. I heard storied about him all those years ago. I was a sophomore when I left but heard he took someone's phone for using it in class. A guy age 15. Our policy was the parent had to come recover it. Mr. Morrow took it upon himself to go through his phone and text the boy's parents he had naked pics of his girlfriend on there. Now....before that. Years ago. I was in like 5th grade. Kevin Morrow has a pool at his house and said we were all invited to swim. So, some clasmates I knew went. He was laughing and told us all they didn't have trunks, so they went swimming in their underwear! So he was showing us all pictures of them in their underwear soaking wet.
He still works at the school. Any time we bring allegations or words against him, they don't listen.....

2024.05.21 09:34 Icy-Sprinkles-1082 Need advice. Am I doing the right thing? Pcb student with two years gap trying to get into a business school for bba

(Qualifications)I have passed my class 12 in the year 2022 with 88%. My subjects were pcb with physical education and psychology (and English ofc). I have dropped two years, year one for neet, year two trying to go abroad for bsc psychology. Earlier this year I tried to apply for bba or bms courses in colleges like du, Christ, shiv Nader, xaviers, etc. Du does not take bms without maths and so does xaviers. I want to get into the hotel buisness , and have heard from people that it does not matter where you have done your bba from. Is this true? If I do my bba from a cheap place like an naac c grade University will I be able to get into a good foreign college or top buisness colleges in india for my MBA ?

2024.05.21 09:29 Soggy-Pin-1936 Some Doubts about TU Eindhoven's Applied Physics

as the title suggests, I am gonna apply to TU Eindhoven's Applied Physics program in 2025. I am currently doing my high school and would be done with it in Feb 2025 with results to get into TU/e Bachelors
So my concern is what If I want to study something Theoretical Physics or Cosmology stuff for my masters. My aim is to study 3 years in Netherlands and then apply for Cambridge and Oxford's Master Programs of Theoretical Physics which are very considered very good. my grades are good right now but I don't think i can afford the bachelors of 3 years over there in UK
as the course's name is literally Applied Physics, like will it affect my chances of getting into masters for Theoretical Physics be it any uni in Europe?
because I don't want that in my future.
the other option is Groningen's Physics BSc (it's more expensive than TU/e). so like can anyone explain do they teach more applied stuff and less theoretical stuff and also do you get select elective courses in Theoretical Physics and Mathematics as well. I know about double major in AP and AM (Applied Maths) at TU/e
but anyone who did the course here, can you please tell about courses offered here and explain it to me
also Should I go for Uni of Groningen BSc Physics than TU/e Applied Physics BSc then?
any advice is appreciated

2024.05.21 09:26 No-Interaction-1643 My sister has BPD and is making my life miserable. I love her, please tell me how to handle situations?

CONTEXT: I (17f) have two elder sisters who are twins (20f). We are going to call them sister A and sister B. They always hated me because they always thought that our mom always spoiled me, even though this was never the case. Hence, they always resented me. And I actually quite adored them, I wanted to be like them, always respected them as my two lovely big sisters. Other than this, we were quite the happy family, our parents always showered us with love equally.
Now, fast forward to when sister A was 15. She met a girl in high school. And all of a sudden, sister A started to resent all of us. And started sh. My mom never understood that, because she and our father did their darn best to give us the universe. Here’s the thing: the sh never came from her having life contemplations, but her “friend” encouraged her to do it, and when she’d show it to her, her “friend” would say: “ just 5? Should’ve gone for 10.” This is something my sister A has actively told. Now that the readers have an idea about how it all started, my sister still does sh. She also has been going to professional therapy since she was 16. Hence, she was diagnosed with bpd.
Now, her behaviour never really affected me other than my parents just ignoring me to give her the attention , to the point that I haven’t had a heart-to-heart with either of my parents in 4 years, since, I was 13. And of course I am crazy jealous, but my love for my sister still remains. The thing is, my sisters, as twins, always operated as a team hence, they always had each other and still do things together (excluding me). And hence, I only ever had my mom to talk my feelings with, which I haven’t been able to do since, I was 13. And even if I have, she has told about it to my sisters who come confront me and start a whole other argument. And that has taken a toll on me and I have been failing my classes. I went from a straight A+ student and now, recently I got a 19/100 in maths. Hence, I have been quite bitter to my family. And obv I also had my own petty arguments with my parents. TLDR: I also have my own teenage issues that have formed due to the lack of communication with my parents.
Now, here comes in my sister. Whenever, I have any disagreement with my parents, big or small, in the middle of my argument, even if my voice isn’t raised, my sister would jump in and SCREAM on the top of her lungs and say that I should lower my voice. And there have been instances that she would even shout slurs at me in front our mother and she wouldn’t even bat an eye. And in all of this, my problem would still be unresolved. This example comes from my following problem: I had private classes, but I had an extra-curricular event going on in my school. So, I was trying to convince my mom to let me skip private classes.
Now, there was another instance where my mom was condemning me from using my phone cause of my grades, and again; my sister started to not shout but, scream at me to lower my voice. And started crying, telling our parents that they don’t deserve a child like me. And at the end of the night, my mom was cuddling her.
These type of things happen quite frequently now, even this morning. As much as I love my sister, I really do. But I am growing frustrated of this. I don’t wish any harm on my sister but I do wish my sister never met that “friend”.
I do not need any sympathy or hateful comments, I just want constructive criticism. How shall I handle such situations?
Point to note: I might be an ah, because when I get frustrated of her antics, I do snap back at her. And my mom does tell me to quite down.
Please, tell me if I am in the wrong, and how to handle this, I want my old loving family back.

2024.05.21 08:31 madst1nk Need help with choosing my major

I’m a middle eastern student studying foundation and planning to major in Data Science. I’ve asked students around and I’ve only found one friend who’s planning on majoring in Data Science. I asked about the major and most of the student have been telling me it’s really hard and not easy to take. I’m not really sure whether I should take it or switch to either Economics or Political and Social Science (both Bachelor of Arts). My scholarship asked me to choose between these three options, and I’m really not sure what to do. I also saw an option on the unimelb website that I can take data science in bachelor of design but I’m not entirely sure whether the scholarship will accept it or not.
Also I’ve been thinking of switching to Monash and take Data science there but I don’t there’s much of a difference so I was thinking of sticking to unimelb and take a bachelor of art in on of the two majors (economics or political science) instead of a degree from Monash since they value the ranking so much.
I wanted to ask around and have an idea about the majors and what should I do. My job/scholarship are seeking one of these three so I’m looking for the easy way around but at the same time if I majored in political and social sciences or economics would I benefit a lot from it if I wanted to look for another job?
Also I’m studying abroad not for education purposes only but have some friends from my country and make connections. I don’t mean having friends only for benefit but how it works in my country is mostly knowing people in most important companies just as most countries do. I’m not trying to stay for the rest of my education years studying only but have fun and look out for new business opportunities. I want to have experiences in every aspect and bring back a business that will benefit me aside from my job.
P.S. I was the top student in my school and got the best grades specially in science subjects and I took a 1.5 gap year from school. When I came had my foundation everything is entirely different and very hard for me and I really don’t know why. I love science majors (specially math and physics) but being at this level in foundation, I won’t stand a chance in uni.
I really need some help/advice and I’m really not sure what to do thank you all!

https://preview.redd.it/2abksja14q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e3fa0865a87252b2cffb3f5683244816d49a3fd2
The Nadex Coins Desktop Coin Sorter and Dispenser Organizer is a handy tool that has simplified my life. The transparent casing allows me to easily view the amount of coins I have stored, preventing me from losing or miscounting them. I appreciate that this organizer can hold over $40 in change, making it a perfect solution for keeping loose change within reach.
One of the most appealing features of this product is its simplicity. The spring loader makes dispensing coins easy and straightforward, while the individual denominations ensure that I always have the right change for any situation. The sturdy construction and smooth operation make this coin organizer a reliable tool to have around.
However, there is one downside: the organizer's size might be a bit too large for some users, especially for those looking for a more compact solution. But overall, the Nadex Coins Desktop Coin Sorter and Dispenser Organizer is a fantastic product that has made organizing my coins a breeze.

🔗Sophisticated Coin Sorter and Wrapper with Counting and Sorting Capabilities

It's a lifesaver when it comes to counting and sorting coins. Imagine sifting through piles of change, separating them by coin value, and wrapping them up so you can keep them organized - this coin sorter does all that and more. It's a business-grade machine that simplifies the process, saving time and energy.
I remember trying it out for the first time with a handful of coins, just to see how it worked. To my surprise, it did the job effortlessly – sorting and counting every single coin, even the smaller ones like pennies and nickels. Its ability to display how much of each coin type is being sorted and counted, along with the total value of the batch, made it even more impressive.
The coin tube attachments also came in handy, making it a cinch to fill pre-formed coin wrappers. And if that wasn't enough, the one-touch batch setting feature with auto-stop function ensured nothing got overfilled accidentally.
Overall, it's a reliable and user-friendly device that's perfect for busy individuals or businesses in need of an efficient way to manage their coins.

🔗High-Speed Coin Counter & Sorter with Offsort Function

I've been using the Semacon S-140 Coin Counter & Sorter for a while now and I must say, it's a game-changer. The ease of use is remarkable, with the user-friendly control panel allowing for quick settings of coin size. Its electric/electronic operation makes it a dream come true for those in need of high-speed counting and sorting.
The pushbutton control panel is a breeze to operate, providing the functions most often used by the operator. However, the coin sorting feature stands out the most, allowing me to count and optionally bag or package the largest coin while separating the smaller coins into a second bag or tray.
One downside is that it's only available in 110 volt or 220 volt, which could be limiting for some users. Nonetheless, its ability to process coins at ultra-high speeds yet remain quieter than many other coin counters is truly noteworthy.
Overall, the Semacon S-140 Coin Counter & Sorter has been a reliable and efficient addition to my daily routine, making coin counting and sorting a hassle-free task.

🔗Elegant 5 in 1 Wooden Coin Organizer for Change Storage

I've been using the KAEKAT 5 in 1 Coin Sorter and Counter, and I must say it has made my life so much easier when it comes to managing my loose change. This wooden coin holder is perfect for keeping your spare change organized, and it's pretty easy to use too.
One thing that stands out about this coin organizer is its versatility. Not only did it work great at home, but I also found it to be a lifesaver in the office. Say goodbye to loose change cluttering your desk because this coin holder is designed to keep it all neatly sorted.
But, one area where it could improve is in its capacity. With room for up to 460 coins, it might not be enough for people who save a lot of coins. And while its wooden finish is a classy touch, some might prefer a more straightforward design.
Still, overall, I'm quite happy with this little coin holder. It helps keep my change organized, and as a bonus, it adds a touch of class to any room.

🔗Manual Coin Sorter with 200 Coins Capacity

https://preview.redd.it/wbx4dfu24q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7dd8811201ba134e1eec81b85263e51b6e02a895
As someone who had long been on the hunt for an efficient way to sort through a massive collection of coinage, I recently stumbled upon the royal Sovereign QS-1 manual coin sorter. Its unique design and portability immediately caught my attention, but I had my doubts about its efficiency. After using it for a few days, I can confidently say that my initial reservations were unfounded.
The first thing I noticed about this manual sorter was its impressive speed. Within minutes, I had piles of coins properly sorted into their respective tubes. While I expected the occasional jam or misplacement, I was pleasantly surprised by how minimal those issues were. With consistent and careful handling, I found that I could easily avoid most jams and maintain a steady flow of coins towards my targeted tubes.
One impressive feature that stood out to me from the start was the hopper's capacity to hold up to 200 coins at once. This eliminated the need for constant refilling, allowing me to focus more on sorting and less on tedious tasks. Additionally, the preformed paper wrappers that accompany the coin tubes provide an added level of convenience when it comes to packaging and organizing my coin stash.
While using the royal Sovereign QS-1 manual coin sorter, I encountered a few challenges. Firstly, I noticed that the plastic coin tubes could benefit from clearer labeling when it comes to coin quantity per wrapper. This, in turn, would have made it easier for me to avoid overfilling certain tubes and ensure the proper weight and balance of each coin roll.
Another minor inconvenience was the occasional difficulty in removing coins that have gotten stuck in the tubes. However, with a bit of patience and the help of a small tool, I was able to resolve the issue and keep the sorter functioning at an optimal level.
Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with the performance of this manual coin sorter. Though it requires a bit of trial and error at first, it has proven to be a worthy investment for those looking to streamline the process of sorting and organizing their coin collections. With careful handling and attention to detail, the royal Sovereign QS-1 can successfully handle hundreds of coins with relative ease.

🔗Versatile Nadex Coins Coin Handling Tray for Efficient Coin Sorting

https://preview.redd.it/p5unhs834q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0e6c9d49e7ce97bee9dd1ffa805edbaec00d7478
Recently, I found myself in need of a coin handling tray to help me with my daily coin counting tasks. Being somewhat particular about how my coins are organized, I was on the lookout for something user-friendly, and that's when I came across the Nadex Coins Coin Handling Tray Beige.
Once I started using it, I was pleased with how the tray had been designed to fit coins of all shapes and sizes, brand new or worn out after years of use. I appreciated how the tray allowed me to quickly insert and remove coins, helping me to maintain better order and speed up my coin wrapping process. The denominations marked on the tray made it easier for me to keep track of my coin totals, which was a big advantage, especially when dealing with large volumes of change.
However, one aspect of the tray that I felt could be improved was the staggered rows. While it did enable me to count more coins across the rows compared to similar products, I found that it had two separate rows for twenty-five cent coins, when it should have been a single row for fifty cents. As a result, I had to manually count to make sure I wasn't short-changing myself.
Despite this minor flaw, I still found the Nadex Coins Coin Handling Tray Beige to be a useful addition to my coin handling routine. Its compact size, easy portability thanks to the included cover, and ability to clearly sort and count coins made it worth its place in my daily life.

🔗Rapid Electric Coin Sorter with Anti-Jam Technology

https://preview.redd.it/sd6hhgr34q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=930c8b83f661657b5c52052dca9551ff0a715e95
As someone who recently tried the Royal Sovereign One Row Electric Coin Sorter (CO-1000), I can say that it is a fast and convenient way to sort coins. The product's highlight, the 240-coin per minute speed, makes it a reliable and efficient option for anyone looking to manage their coins quickly.
What stood out to me the most was the coin hopper's capacity to hold up to 300 coins, allowing me to sort a large amount of coins at once without needing to replenish the hopper frequently. This feature made the process more manageable and time-saving for my needs.
However, there were some drawbacks to using this coin sorter. For starters, I experienced a coin jamming issue, which caused me to take the sorter apart and repair it. While the anti-jam technology claimed to prevent this, it seems that the issue was not entirely resolved, at least in my experience.
Additionally, I found it frustrating that the coins did not always fall into the designated coin tubes. Some foreign or oversized coins occasionally got stuck on the way to the wrappers, requiring manual intervention to clear them.
Despite these issues, I still believe that the Royal Sovereign One Row Electric Coin Sorter (CO-1000) is a useful product, especially for its price. If these drawbacks can be addressed, it could become a go-to option for those seeking an easy, automatic way to manage their coin collections.

🔗Royal Sovereign CO-1000N High-Speed Coin Sorter

https://preview.redd.it/u75cqw144q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=916154b152158c506e0bd17b323e44fb6f1fdc0e
As a reviewer, I've had the pleasure of using the Royal Sovereign CO-1000N Coin Sorter in my daily life. This nifty device has proven to be a game-changer when it comes to sorting my coins. With a capacity to hold up to 300 coins and sort them at a rate of 240 coins per minute, it's a real workhorse in my wallet.
One feature that truly stands out is its patented anti-jam technology, which ensures precise internal sorting so I don't have to worry about any mishaps during the coin-sorting process. I can easily pull out coin-filled wrappers and roll them up, thanks to the removable plastic coin tubes.
However, I did notice that it can be a bit loud sometimes, but that's a small price to pay for its functionality. Overall, the Royal Sovereign CO-1000N Coin Sorter is a convenient and efficient choice for anyone looking to sort their coins in a hurry.

🔗High-Speed Coin Sorter and Counter with LCD Display

https://preview.redd.it/19lxe2f44q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=60b8e87ee376a79b66064eb029c8196eedd1c984
As a busy business owner, I've found it challenging to count and sort all my coins efficiently, but this electronic USD Coin Sorter and Counter has been a game-changer. The machine is effortless to use: simply pour your coins into the hopper and press start to watch it work its magic.
It sorts and counts the coins swiftly, with the option to either use the included tubes for coin wrappers or bins, depending on my preference for that day. What makes it even more impressive is its ability to sort 270 coins per minute, eliminating any concern of getting behind on my daily cash transactions.
With the backlit LCD screen, not only do I have a clear count of all the denominations, but it also displays a total count, making it easy to keep track of my earnings. However, there is one downside: the instructions could be clearer on utilizing the coin wrapper holder, as it took me some trial and error to get it right.
Despite this minor issue, the overall convenience and efficiency of this Coin Sorter make it a valuable investment for any business in need of sorting and counting their US coins.

🔗Easy-to-Use Coin Sorter with Color-Coded Tubes

https://preview.redd.it/ygo51rx44q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d22325f734b1e2e3d0cbb4916447d0b9da4d4aab
Recently, I tried out the Coin Counters & Coin Sorters Tubes Bundle of 4 Color-Coded Coin Tubes and 100 Assorted Coin Wrappers. It's a nifty little gadget that I couldn't resist trying out, especially since I always have a lot of coins lying around the house. The tubes are color-coded, making it super easy to differentiate between pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters.
One of the things I really liked about this product was how easy it was to use. All I needed to do was insert the coin rolls into the tubes, drop the coins in, invert the tube, and voila - the coins were counted, and I could seal them up. It was a quick and painless process, and I enjoyed using it.
However, there was one downside to this product that I did notice. While the tubes worked well for pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters, I found that the penny tube required a few extra pennies to reach the level required. This might not be a deal-breaker for some, but it was something I noticed during my testing.
Overall, I'd say that this Coin Counters & Coin Sorters Tubes Bundle is a pretty handy little gadget. If you're someone who always has a bunch of coins lying around the house and wants an easy way to sort and count them, this product is definitely worth considering. Just be aware of the small issue with the penny tube.

🔗Royal Sovereign 2 Row Digital Coin Sorter FS-2D for Easy and Quick Coin Sorting

https://preview.redd.it/xsni8av54q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0f2283a0132430a60bf9b9b442c6c38e10398359
When I first tried the Royal Sovereign 2 Row Digital Coin Sorter, I was genuinely excited. I had a jar full of loose change that I wanted to get rid of and this seemed like the perfect solution. The first thing I noticed was how fast it could sort out coins, up to 312 per minute. That's impressive! The large hopper capacity also allowed me to dump in a significant number of coins at once, without having to constantly refill it - a feature I truly appreciated.
The product came with a couple of pre-formed coin wrappers, which I thought was a neat touch. It made the transition from sorting to wrapping seamless. However, I also noticed that the coin counter comes with some noise when operating, which might be an issue for those who prefer a quieter environment.
The anti-jam feature was a standout for me. I had never used a coin sorter before, so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect. But this feature ensured that the coins kept moving smoothly through the machine, without any unexpected jams.
But, as with any product, there were a couple of cons. The first was the coin counter's size - it's quite large and might not fit on a smaller countertop. Secondly, while the product worked well most of the time, there were a few instances where the coin counter got a bit confused - it would sometimes sort coins into the wrong slot.
Overall, while the Royal Sovereign 2 Row Digital Coin Sorter has its quirks, I found it to be a useful tool for sorting and organizing loose change. It saved me a lot of time and made the process enjoyable.

🔗Portable Coin Sorting Organizer with Detachable Cover

https://preview.redd.it/twmqc4664q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4f192981aa98a3db92da9233e16c805af06acd9e
When I first used the PEN+GEAR Coin Manager Pro, I was pleasantly surprised by its slim and sleek design. It fits perfectly in my pocket or on my keychain, making it a convenient addition to my daily essentials. One of the standout features is its clear slots that allow you to easily see when you need to add more coins, which is a lifesaver when I'm juggling multiple tasks at once.
I did notice, however, that the measurements for some coins, particularly pennies, seem slightly off. It takes a bit of trial and error to get the hang of it, but once I figured it out, it became a breeze. I like how the tray comes with coin wrappers, making it easier to organize my coins and create sets for collecting or spending.
Overall, the Coin Manager Pro is a handy tool for anyone who wants to keep their loose change organized and accessible. While it has a minor flaw with the coin measurements, it doesn't significantly impact its usability, and the benefits outweigh its limitations.

🔗Modern Coin Sorter with Digital Display and Removable Tubes

https://preview.redd.it/uf84ggl64q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=61807183e99e0c75400e162b2ee8f01f53c13dd5
The Teachers Choice Digital Coin Counter and Sorter, as the name suggests, is a lifesaver for both children and adults alike. Whether you save pennies, nickels, dimes, or quarters, this sorter makes organization a breeze. The digital LCD display keeps track of your savings, while the four separate tubes ensure that each coin type is tucked away perfectly.
One of the most notable features is how easy it is to use. Insert the coin into the sorter and watch as it automatically sorts it into the correct tube. The process is quite engaging, and it even helps children learn the value of money and basic math principles.
Yet, this device isn't without its quirks. Sometimes, a coin might end up in the tube sideways or not exactly where it's supposed to be. All you need to do is give it a little shake, and everything will fall into place.
The product itself is quite sturdy, with the ABS plastic construction making it a safer and more durable option compared to glass or ceramic piggy banks. And yes, it's perfect for all ages, making it a great addition to your home's financial organization system.
Despite these minor issues, the Teachers Choice Digital Coin Counter and Sorter exceeds our expectations. It's a practical tool that educates, organizes, and encourages good financial habits.

🔗Effortless Black Coin Sorter for Sorting and Counting Coins

https://preview.redd.it/oemo82374q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=55d91169f3f049639e0e890ec85f537e35c6aa4e
I recently got my hands on the Royal CS120 Black Coin Sorter, and let me tell you, it's been quite the experience. At first, I was excited to sort my loose change into quarters, nickels, dimes, and pennies using these neat little tubes with fill lines. But boy, was it challenging!
Firstly, the tubes were pretty big, which made it hard to fit in the smaller coins like pennies and dimes. I had to constantly open the lid and adjust the tubes, ensuring the white line was correctly aligned to prevent any mix-ups. But honestly, it wasn't all that bad. I thought it'd be tedious, but it actually became quite fun.
The digital readout that counts the total money in the sorter? Well, that was another story altogether. It didn't always give an accurate count, but I didn't mind much because I bought the sorter mainly for sorting, not counting.
But hey, let's not overlook the issue with the rolls. When you empty a tube, you have to put the money wrapper in before manually dropping in the coins. I got myself some extra rolls, which made the process much easier, especially when dealing with a piggy bank of coins.
My main gripe though is the quality of the sorter. It felt kind of cheap, and I had some worries about how long it would last, especially if my kids started using it. But for the price, I thought it was worth the risk.
So, while it might not be perfect, I've found the Royal CS120 to be a fun and efficient way to sort my loose change. And hey, it's even been a great learning experience for my kids!

🔗Heavy-Duty Coin Counter & Off-Sorter for US, Canadian, Mexican and More

https://preview.redd.it/5ty8tqi74q1d1.jpg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=523ff5574d48ecaaf67517937123a630e5bca0b1
Cassida's C-C850 Heavy Duty Coin Counter & Off-Sorter has proven to be a reliable workhorse in my daily processing of mixed coins and tokens. As a busy retailer, the 2-speed motorized hopper has been a lifesaver, quickly sorting my coin collection without any jams. The high-capacity hopper, capable of holding up to 6,500 coins, has been perfect for my needs.
However, the one downside I've experienced is that this particular unit is slower and prone to jamming compared to my other Cassida counter at a different location. Despite this issue, I still appreciate the ease of use and durability that Cassida's C-C850 offers in my daily business.

Buyer's Guide

Coin sorters make organizing your coins quick and efficient. With the variety of options available, it's essential to consider the features and design that best fit your needs. This guide will walk you through the important aspects of coin sorters to help you make an informed purchase.

Check the compatibility of the coin sorter with the different types of coins you have in circulation. Most sorters can handle a mix of coins, including pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. However, some sorters may have restrictions on coin types or sizes.

Ease of Use

Consider a coin sorter that is easy to use, with a simple mechanism for sorting coins. Look for sorters with a clear and intuitive display, and one that doesn't take much effort to operate.

Capacity

What is a Coin Sorter?

A coin sorter is a device that helps you sort and store your coins, usually in separate compartments for each denomination. It typically has a slot for inserting coins and a system for separating them into their respective compartments based on size and weight.

Why should I use a Coin Sorter?

  • Organizes your coins:
Coin sorting devices help you sort your coins by denomination, making it easier to manage your change and keep everything organized.
  • Saves time:
Instead of manually sorting your coins, a coin sorter automates the process for you, saving you time and effort.
  • Prevents coin damage:
Sorting your coins in a device designed to handle them gently will prevent scratches and bending, keeping them in better condition.
  • Space-saving:
Coin sorters usually come in compact designs, making them ideal for storage in small homes or offices.

How does a Coin Sorter work?

Coin sorters work by using a combination of size and weight sensors to detect the type of coin being inserted. When you insert a coin into the slot, the device reads the size and weight of the coin, allowing it to fall into the appropriate compartment. Some advanced models even use magnets or electronic sensors for a more precise sorting process.

What types of coins can a Coin Sorter handle?

Most coin sorters are designed to handle standard-sized coins such as pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. They may also have separate compartments for larger coins like half-dollars and foreign coins.

Where can I purchase a Coin Sorter?

Coin sorters can be found in various online stores, specialty shops, and retail outlets like drugstores and supermarkets. It's best to research and compare different models and prices before making a purchase to ensure you find the right coin sorter for your needs.

Can I turn a Coin Sorter into a piggy bank?

Yes, you can adapt a coin sorter into a piggy bank by keeping the coins in the devices' compartments and labeling them as separate savings accounts or piggy banks for each denomination. This way, you can still sort your coins and keep track of your savings progress.

How do I clean and maintain my Coin Sorter?

  • Empty the compartments:
Regularly empty the coin sorter to prevent the buildup of dirt, dust, and bacteria.
  • Wipe down the exterior:
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the coin sorter, removing any dirt or fingerprints.
  • Inspect the sorting mechanism:
Periodically inspect the coin sorter's sorting mechanism to ensure it's functioning correctly and free of debris or obstructions.

2024.05.21 08:21 leotasticc I just realised...

So as "homework" my counselor wanted me to reflect on how my aphantasia has impacted my life and learning (I just turned 20 today and currently in college) before our next session, and it just occurred to me...
My aphantasia is (probably) why I absolutely DOMINATED my classmates in typing classes. We started learning how to type in I think...4th grade. And I learned the keys really fast. Like, a lot faster than my peers?? And then when we would bust out those weird silicone orange covers or the box-looking covers so we couldn't look at the keys for our typing tests I was the only kid who consistently scored 90% or higher on the first attempt. My typing speed sits somewhere around 90-100 WPM (based on my memory of my last typing speed test which was...7 months ago?). Basically from when I learned to type my WPM just kept going up and up.
I don't actually know if this is possibly due to my aphantasia or not. I feel like it is, because, like I joked with my peers, I could type like normal with my eyes closed. I don't see the keyboard in my mind and truth be told, I didn't rely on learning where the keys on a keyboard sit visually. It's purely based on muscle memory, I think. I couldn't tell you what key is next to what on a keyboard.
I'm also curious if aphantasia affected my reading speed? I don't get the classic "movie in my mind" thing that it appears non-aphants have when I read. The words are literally just...words. So this means my reading speed, word processing, and data entry speeds like ridiculously high. Apparently higher than average, or at least the average in my area because my college has made me retake their data entry test twice because they think I cheated somehow. But I just don't spend the time, I guess you could say, imagining an event or anything like that. I just take in the words I'm reading. But once it turns to math problems...that's a whole different story.
Anyways, sorry for my late night ramblings haha. I think I might've gotten sidetracked in my tangent. Oh well (the woes of ADHD). But yeah, thanks for letting me ramble about nothing. Cheers!

2024.05.21 08:09 SenaNarumiFan18 What do you think the casts grades in all their classes would be like? (general education classes)

Robbie: I picture him pretty much getting straight As in all his classes. Through I think he would struggle in PE.
Jade: Likely some Cs and Ds
Tori: Hmmm probably As and Bs. Shed probably be pretty good in school
Beck: Probably mostly Bs. I think he’d do pretty decently.
Cat: Bs and Cs. She’s ditzy and can lack common sense but I don’t think she’d be completely hopeless in academics.
André: As and Bs. I think he would be pretty solid with his academics
Here’s a templet (grade it on this scale. A+, A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, D-, F)
Math:
English:
Science:
Social studies:
Foreign language:
PE:
Lemme know your thoughts in the comments below and why

2024.05.21 07:43 cptalpdeniz I started school few months ago and currently in 3 ESO, since I'm not Spanish citizen, what happens if I fail a class?

I moved to Valencia region and started school, few months go. Currently in 3 ESO and taking things like Math, Biology, the usual stuff. I'm completely new to the Spanish education system so appreciate the responses. Even though my spanish is A2 and improving, the co-official language here is Valenciano which I find very difficult. In addition, classes like History are also taught in Valenciano (even harder for me) and even though I'm doing my best, my grades are not that great. I'm bit worried since I have no idea about how the system works here and I don't know what will happen if I fail a class (not saying I will but I also need to know).

2024.05.21 07:41 taqqwaaaaa McMaster CS Questions Schedule/Courses

I have no programming experience but plan to take ICS3U (Grade 11 CS) in summer school but I don't know how that will work out. I may try to complete CS50 also.
The first-year courses are:
COMPSCI 1JC3
COMPSCI 1MD3
MATH 1B03
MATH 1ZA3
COMPSCI 1DM3
COMPSCI 1XC3
COMPSCI 1XD3
MATH 1ZB3
Can someone try to rate the difficulty of these courses on a scale of 1-10. It would be helpful if the rating was done by someone who held no prior coding experience.
Since CS comes under the faculty of Engineering, would the electives be only chosen from the complementary studies elective courses list? And which ones would be easily 12-able? (especially the ones with no exams).
Is the schedule pre-made? Can you submit a request to change the timings?
