Vor einer Schule ist eine Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzung von 10 Km/h, am Schuleingang befindet sich zusätzlich ein Blitzer.
Ich war an dem Tag Fahrer und bin tatsächlich mit knapp 15 Km/h gefahren, jedoch war ich am abbremsen.
Vor dem Blitzer stand ein Lehrer als pädagogische Aufsicht um die Menschen so wie ich darauf hinzuweisen, das zu schnell gefahren wird.
Die genannte Person zeigte mir mit seinen beiden Händen die maximale Geschwindigkeit von 10 km/h an und betonte dieses auch noch lautstark damit ich dies bei offenen Fenster auch gut hören konnte.
Bis hier hin alles gut...
Als ich auf seiner Höhe anhielt um ihm zu sagen, dass ich geblitzt werden würde, wenn ich zu schnell gefahren wäre, betonte er nochmals lautstark hier ist 10 km/h erlaubt und wir sorgen uns um das Wohl unserer Kinder.
Das hatte mich in dem Moment stark getriggert, deshalb sagte ich zu ihm er möge seine "Fresse" halten und sich "verpissen".
Daraufhin wollte er mit seinem Handy ein Foto meines Nummernschildes machen. Mit dieser Aktion hatte er mich vollends aus der Fassung gebracht. Ich habe auf dem gegenüberliegenden Parkplatz geparkt und bin zu ihm rüber gegangen. Auf 180 habe ich ihn angepampt und gefragt wie bescheuert man eigentlich sein kann. Er Siezte mich und ich duzte ihn die ganze Zeit.
Er verwies mich darauf das er gesiezt werden will und ich sagte ihm das mir das egal ist. Er beharrte auf ein Foto meines Nummernschildes. Daraufhin habe ich meinen Ausweis ausgepackt und ihn diesen entgegen geworfen mit der Aussage "hier du Spaßt mach doch ein Foto". Ich verlangte seinen Ausweis aber diesen wollte er mir nicht zeigen...
Ich habe ihn tatsächlich leicht geschubst und gesagt er soll mir seinen Ausweis zeigen aber das wollte er nicht. Auf der gegenüberliegenden Bushaltestelle waren vier Kinder ca. 15 Jahre und haben auf den Bus gewartet, diese waren nicht in Gefahr bzw haben sie nicht ansatzweise mitbekommen wie lautstark ich diese Diskrepanz klären wollte.
Nachdem ich zufällig durch einen seiner Schüler herausgefunden habe, dass der Herr Lehrer ist, bin ich in das Sekretariat und habe den Vorfall gemeldet. Ich sagte falls etwas ist, gerne melden. Nummer, Anschrift und Name habe ich leserlich hinterlassen.
Danach bin ich nochmals zu dem Lehrer gegangen und habe mich entschuldigt und ihm gesagt, was mich getriggert hatte und der Ton bei mir ausschlaggebend war.
Ich erwähnte das ich meine Personalien hinterlassen habe und wenn etwas ist, möge er sich melden. Seine Aussage war, er möchte es zivilisiert und menschlich klären.
Im Nachgang hat mich die Leitung der Schule noch am gleichen Tag angerufen, der Leitung habe ich die Geschichte wie hier beschrieben. Ich habe meine Schuld eingeräumt und auch gesagt, dass da Zwei Leute dazugehören.
Mir ist bewusst, dass die Leitung den starken markieren muss und seine Schäfchen beschützen muss aber in dem Telefonat wurde mehr als erwähnt, dass mein Kind ja auch auf der Schule ist und das ich ja auch Elternbeirat bin etc bla bla.
Viele unnötige Dinge die gar nichts mit der Situation zu tun haben aber gut. Jetzt ist es so, dass ich heute einen Brief bekommen habe, in dem einmal von der Leitung nochmals erwähnt wird, dass ich mich komplett daneben genommen habe und mein Kind auf der Schule ist und ich Elternbeirat usw bin...
Des Weiteren ist ein Vierseitiger Brief des Opfers ageheftet. In dem Brief geht eigentlich nur die Sicht aus seiner Perspektive hervor in der er alles richtig gemacht hat und ich nicht. Nochmals betone ich, da steht ein Blitzer, wenn der nicht blitzt, Pech würde ich sagen, wobei ich sowieso abgebremst habe.
Das er die Tatsachen pädagogisch wertvoll aufgearbeitet hat und sich adäquat ausgedrückt hat, sollte wohl bei mir ein Gefühl der Dummheit erzeugen oder so...
Naja ich bin seiner Meinung nach mit einem blauen Auge davon gekommen und er sieht von einer Anzeige ab.
Jetzt zur Frage! Wenn ich jemanden leicht schubse und oh beschimpfe weil er Fotos von meinem Nummernschild machen möchte und mich anblöckt mit "hier ist 10 km/h" bin ich dann vollends am Ende?

Short background: I work as a senior pentester (consulting, not internal) doing primarily network and assumed breach pentests for my clients.
The last few weeks I've been working an assumed breach test for a client and was able to privesc fairly quickly into the test. Nothing strange there, typical client AD weak/misconfigs.
While doing post-ex recon on the domain, I noticed something very strange when running BloodHound. Typically, the first thing I do after importing my collection zip into BH is I take a screenshot of the Domain Admins group as my simple "hey heres what bloodhound looks like" for my report walkthrough. Easy enough, right? Go into bloodhound, type "Domain Admins" into the search bar, select the DA group, expand the group members. Only issue is there wasn't a "Domain Admins" group in BH... like, at all. Okay, odd but I can work around that. Lets look at "Enterprise Admins".Odd again, it wasn't present. I thought maybe I pulled in a bad zip or my data was somehow corrupted in a way i've literally never seen before. So I type in "ADMINISTRATORS@" to see if thats there and, lo and behold, it was there.
Returning to my assumed breach host, I run a simple powershell script to enumerate domain users that gets output to a csv and also run ldapdomaindump. Checking out ldapdomaindump, I see that "Domain Admins" is referenced in recursive group memberships, but is not an actual entry in my domain_groups* files. However, "Domain Admins" is listed in the group membership of several users in my domain_users* files.
Checking my powershell output, which includes the full DN for users' group membership, i DO see "Domain Admins" and "Enterprise Admins" DNs for several users. This is when i noticed something else strange about these privileged groups.
Typically, and by default, the "Domain Admins" and "Enterprise Admins" groups are within the "CN=Users, DC=, DC=" container. so DA for a domain of "shell.smoke" would have a DN of "CN=Domains,DC=shell,DC=smoke". But in my harvested data for my client's domain, the "Domain Admins" and "Enterprise Admins" groups were moved to a different container underneath Active Directory Administrative Center (CN=Domain Admins, OU=ADAC,...). This was absolutely wild to me, because never in my career had I seen an organization move the DA and EA groups to a completely new OU structure within AD.
I did some further testing to see what was going on. I hopped onto a DC with winrm and tried to lookup the groups by name, but got an error saying object not found, which i kind of expected by this point. But also kind of weird and kind of to be expected, using powershell to "resolve"/"translate" the full SID of these groups was successful, translating-512 gave me "\Domain Admins". But then trying to get the AD object by directly referencing the SIDs ended up with the same result as referencing by name, object not found. Getting onto RDP on a DC and navigating through ADAC I was hopping I could find SOMETHING, literally anything, pointing to what had happened here. ADAC has a "Recycle Bin" of sorts, and there were entries in there but nothing related to what i was looking for.
Later on in testing I tried making a golden ticket with impacket, using the defaults that'll add the DA and EA SIDs into the ticket, and that did work to effectively give me DA access to hosts. Likewise, requesting a TGT for an account that was supposed to be in the privileged groups and using the describeTicket script from impacket to decrypt the "enc-part" of the ticket showed me it did have the appropriate group SIDs for the privileged groups.
Basically, I'm at a loss at what the hell is going on here. Attempting to do some googling on the topic pretty much just led to dead ends revolving around removing DA from hosts' local administrators group... so completely useless. Referencing Microsoft's documentation on security groups (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-serveidentity/ad-ds/manage/understand-security-groups) did show me that you can in fact move some of the privileged groups out of the default container, like DA and EA, but not some others, like Administrators. That's interesting and all, but why would anyone do this and then seemingly remove the groups? I dont have a Windows Server image laying around to play with to see what this looks like from an admin's perspective, but would there be any kind of security or warning prompt if you tried to move these groups, and then again if you attempted to remove them? What kind of implications would these group NOT being present in AD have for their AD security? Clearly, based on my golden ticket, you can still inject the appropriate SIDs into a forged ticket and they'll be recognized, but if the objects don't exist in AD, considering i couldnt even reference them directly by SID, how could a Service properly determine whether an account with those SIDs in a ticket should be given access? Most EDR and AD monitoring services that are configured to monitor and alert on changes to privileged AD groups keep an active watch on the actual containers themselves, with limited ability (pretty much just Windows Event Logging) to identify rogue use of the groups.
Any insights, answers, thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. I definitely intend to make some mention of this in my report, but since this is my first time encountering this I'm kind of at a loss for what the overall implication of this is and how this can even happen to begin with.

 | Help! I had a key stuck on my keyboard and in trying to get it unstuck I somehow zoomed in on the Windows Upnote app. See attached screenshot. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what keys I hit because I can't undo it. I've tried Ctrl-+ and Ctrl--, as well as every other key combination I can think of. I've restarted, and I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the app but as soon as the reinstall opens it's back to the zoomed in version. I need a reality check here before I start reaching out to mortgage lenders for a pre-approval. I currently bank with NFCU. They are offering decent rates and don't require PMI, but I have heard they can be hard to work with. I know time in the market beats timing the market, so despite the rates I would really like to start building equity now, but I am not sure if we have the financials to do it.
Pertinent stats/facts
Ideal December move in, currently renting an apartment
26M, married to 27F, filing separately for student loans (more below)
Joint income $155k base $115k base stable W2, remote and looking to move to city of home office $40k stable W2, however is a state job so would need to find something similar before we move. Would be around $40-$50k in new state
770 and 790 FICO scores
Debts * $250/mo student loan *$279/mo student loan *$200/mo DEFERRED UNDER IDR and PSLF eligble hence state job, around 6.5yr until forgiveness *$50 Synchrony, $350 left *$150 NF CC, ~$2k balance *$35 Discover, $400 left
Cash on hand for down payment and closing cost should be $20.2k by end of month (trying to reach $25k by Aug but have had some setbacks with emergency vet)
Savings/Emergency fund $9.5k, trying to get to $11k by Aug. ~3 mo essential expenses
We are looking at homes around $325k and are shooting for a 5% DP
We are hoping, but not guaranteed, to be getting a ~$5k cash gift from MIL.
Overall I don't feel good about our emergency fund going into a house for the first time. I'm wondering if we should just settle for a 3% down payment for NFCU's ARM and start building out our emergency fund further, or keep pushing to reach $25k for a DP and CC. $25k should roughly be enough to cover a $325k house at 3% down and 3% CC overall
Please let me know what you all think, any advice is greatly greatly appreciated

Eu quero muito continuar vivendo,ser feliz e ter filhos; mas vejo muitas pessoas dizendo que não dá mais para reverter as mudanças climáticas e que o futuro é caótico e quem defende que ainda dá para reverter as mudanças climáticas é negacionista. Oq eu faço? Isso é verdade? Eu não nego que aquecimento global existe,sei que ele é real,mas acredito que ainda dá para reverter e já vi certas previsões que os cientistas erraram (Nova York estaria submersa em 2019,Amazônia seria um deserto em 2010,não existiria mais neve em 2000 etc.). Fico com medo de não haver mais as atuais cidades costeiras pois elas estarão submersas,de faltar comida,não existir mais frio nem neve,nem vida habitável nas zonas equatoriais/tropicais etc. Já vi notícia de que o buraco na camada de ozônio diminuiu. Já vi uma notícia dizendo que a camada de ozônio não ajuda a diminuir os efeitos das mudanças climáticas. Vi também uma menina de Bangladesh dizendo que para combater as mudanças climáticas temos que descolonizar o sistema; ou seja, odiar os EUA e a Europa para combater as mudanças climáticas. Acho desnecessário isso. Eu planto árvores,economizo água;vejo os governos,as pessoas,os políticos,os países e os cientistas colaborando para o meio ambiente e ajudando a combater as mudanças climáticas mas ainda assim vejo gente falando que não adianta perder tempo plantando árvores e substituindo carros à combustíveis fósseis por carros elétricos pois as mudanças climáticas são irreversíveis. With the release of The Fairly Oddparents: A New Wish, I'm getting the feeling and already seeing people saying Hazel shouldn't have fairies because she isn't miserable. However, I have also seen people say Hazel deserves fairies because she misses her older brother and is a social outcast. Take note of the emphasis on the word misery often used to discuss the definitive and absolute reason why children have fairies. While it is true and seen across the series that miserable children have fairies, it is a lot more nuanced and complex because there are many points in the series that contrast or conflict with this population sentiment, whether visual & symbolic metaphors, actual visual evidence by character presence and actual in stated lines of The Da Rules and adjacent materials. Before you say, this is modern Fairly Oddparents which retcon the miserable allegation. No, it is not because the most of evidence provided these conflicts primarily from the six seasons of the series.

Also, I will say that every single godchild, whether long-term or short-lived introduced in the original series and Fairly Odder all qualify for fairies under one collected reason outside of misery. Yes, even Chloe, because the internet doesn't bring justice to her character at all, partly from inherent laziness from researching and watching the entire season to only watch notorious known bad episodes or the case of Chloe's character, it's only watching her debut episode and calling it a day.
I don't need to explain why only subitizing a character to their first appearance is a bad idea. However, this doesn't mean Chloe is free from proper criticism. I love Chloe. However, her debut episode introduction was poorly handled. Anyway, before this post becomes needless too long, the reasons provided in the episode The Big Fairly Share Scare why Chloe has fairies aren't the main reasons for why she qualifies but instead the by-product of her situation, but these elements are still necessary to acknowledge and understand for the actual reason.

A little over a year ago, I decided I wanted to read Guy Gavriel Kay for the first time. I don’t know why I knew it was the right time, I just did. I had been aware of Kay’s work basically since I began reading Fantasy, probably at least a dozen years ago now, and I had always planned to read him eventually.
For some reason, however, it just felt like it was time. I’m so glad I did.
So, after reading all fifteen novels (in publication order) over about 13 months, here are my spoiler-free (some small spoilers will be covered) thoughts on each one. If you are a GGK fan, I would love to hear your thoughts and favorites as well.
And if you’ve never read him before, I hope you will take the leap!

- The Fionavar Tapestry (1984-1986): The first thing to know about these three novels (The Summer Tree, The Wandering Fire, and The Darkest Road) is that they are not very representative of the rest of Kay’s work, which is mostly Historical Fantasy. Fionavar, however, is 100% High Portal Fantasy. It tells the story of five Canadian graduate students who are transported into a fantasy world and tasked with saving it. Many readers like to compare the series to Tolkien (largely because a young GGK famously interned with Christopher Tolkien) but I disagree. It is much more 'Narnia meets A Song of Ice and Fire'. Beautifully written, but also containing quite a lot of adult content, politics, and a heavy dose of mythology. I enjoyed it quite a bit, but if you don’t like it that does not mean you won’t like other Kay books.
- Tigana (1990): Perhaps Kay’s most famous and well-regarded novel, and also the first time he began tinkering with his now well-known style of writing a history-adjacent story. Tigana is set in a place very reminiscent of medieval Italy, where two sorcerers are battling over both the land and the hearts of the people who live there. While the writing is a step up from Fionavar, I did find it a touch over-dramatic at times, with characters that are not all as fleshed out as I would like. Where the book excels, however, is in its themes - Memory, Loss, Colonialism vs Patriotism, and more. It's fascinating and well worth your time.
- A Song for Arbonne (1992): Shifting from Kay’s most well-known novel, we now have probably his most underrated and under-discussed. A Song for Arbonne is set in a fictional version of Provence, France during the high Middle Ages and follows a feud between two dukes and two very different ways of life. This is a beautifully feminist novel (especially for 1992) and also made me love troubadours, which is not something I ever thought I would say. Highly recommended, especially in audiobook.
- The Lions of Al-Rassan (1995): My favorite Kay novel, and one I will unabashedly gush about for the rest of my life. Set in a fictional version of Spain during the Crusades, we follow three characters – a Kindath (Jewish) woman doctor, a Jaddite (Christian) military leader, and an Asharite (Muslim) Poet/Diplomat. These three very different people from very different backgrounds are thrust together amid absolute turmoil and form a bond that defies and transcends cultures. It absolutely broke my heart when I read it, but somehow also made me as hopeful as any book I had ever read before. This book is perfect. Read it.
- The Sarantine Mosaic (1998-2000): This two-part story is set in the same world as The Lions of Al-Rassan, but many centuries earlier and hundreds of miles to the east. We follow a young mosaicist named Crispin who is unexpectedly pulled from his obscure country life and tasked with traveling to Sarantium, the greatest city on Earth, to build a new cathedral for the Emperor. Along the way, he meets many incredible side characters and witnesses the empire experience huge amounts of change. This is another favorite, and is far and away Kay’s most epic story. If you like Gladiator or Spartacus, you’ll love this. Plus it has chariot races!
- The Last Light of the Sun (2004): A Viking novel set in the same world as the last two. Shares many of the same themes and ideas of the previous novels as well – people from different cultures coming face to face with modernity and changing times. It’s a very good novel, especially if you enjoy Vikings, but a step down for me.
- Ysabel (2007): Probably far and away Kay's most unique book. It’s a modern, YA novel set in Provence. We follow a young teenage Canadian boy who goes on a work trip with his photographer father and gets swept up into a mystery involving some of the artifacts and other historical sites there. This book is also loosely connected to Fionavar. I enjoyed this one more than I thought I would, but it was still a bizarre experience compared to literally everything else Kay has written.
- Under Heaven (2010): Kay now turned his sights to ancient Chinese history, specifically 8th Century Tang Dynasty. Like his other stuff, though, this is not actually historical fiction - it's set in another world with different names, etc. The son of a renowned general is given 250 prized horses as a gift for his work burying the dead from both sides of a large battle. This outlandish gift forces the young man to become embroiled in the politics of the empire and allows him to witness a startling change to his people's way of life. Lots of people LOVE this book - many even list it as their favorite of Kay's. It did not resonate with me the same way. It's very good! But not my favorite.
- River of Stars (2012): A pseudo-sequel to Under Heaven, set about 500 years later in an era largely defined by the events of that previous novel. Whereas in Under Heaven Kitai (Kay's version of China) was an up-and-coming military power, in River of Stars it has become a wealthy, arrogant cultural hub that is seemingly unaware of its instability. We follow quite a few different characters from multiple backgrounds in this one and, like so many Kay stories, get to see large events take place through the eyes of these 'small' characters. I imagine that whatever your feelings were/are for Under Heaven, you will feel mostly the same about River of Stars.
- Children of Earth and Sky (2016): Kay returned to his 'Jaddite' world for the first time since 2004 for this novel, and (for this reader at least), it was a joy! It takes place about 1,000 years after the Sarantine Mosaic, in a world where the great city of Sarantium has fallen to the Asharites and the surrounding world is trying to pick up the pieces. It's a time of a lot of upheaval and turmoil. This novel follows quite a few very diverse POV characters, which (while sometimes confusing) gives it an 'epic' feel. We have artists, traders, military leaders, sea captains, pirates, and more. While I would not necessarily suggest this as your first GGK novel, if you are a fan of the Sarantine Mosaic (and to a lesser extent, The Lions of Al-Rassan), you will find MUCH to love here.
- A Brightness Long Ago (2019): Taking place about 25 years before the events of Children of Earth and Sky, A Brightness Long Ago perfects Kay's most notable theme: The effect that small, 'unimportant' people can have on huge, global events. We follow a young man named Guidanio, the son of a common tailor, who is swept up into a local feud between two legendary mercenary captains. In the process, he falls in love, faces unspeakable tragedy, and eventually witnesses the fall of the greatest city on earth. What sets this book apart from other Kay novels is that it is mostly told in 1st Person POV by a much older Guidanio in the form of his life story. It is one of Kay's most intimate and best-paced books, and although I still don't think it matches his peak, A Brightness Long Ago is certainly his best novel of the 20th Century and proof that he is still a master of his craft. Highly recommended!
- All the Seas of the World (2022): Kay's most recent novel is both a sequel to A Brightness Long Ago, and a prequel to Children of Earth and Sky. As such, I will not go into a ton of detail but suffice it to say that if you enjoyed those two novels you will love this one. It's a separate story, but there is enough overlap and easter eggs to keep your attention. While I would not rate it higher than A Brightness Long Ago, it was once again a great read and certainly worth your time.
Guy Gavriel Kay is a master, and his work should be cherished. I'm a fan for life!

Honestly, I loved these things. If they were still around brand new I would just buy another pair, but anything I can see is used and I don't want to use a used headset.
Does anyone have any recommendations for something as close as possible? Features that I loved:

- 100 hour battery life (when I took apart my pair I learned that they sported their 100 hour battery life on a 570 mAh battery, very impressive. If I knew that then I would have upgraded the battery a long time ago)

Hi, I’m looking for the English dub for the brazillian cartoon “Zica e os Camaleões” (Zica and the Chameleons). It was aired and licensed by Nickelodeon Brazil in 2014, and TV Brasil from 2014 to 2017.
"Zica is a 14-year-old teenager who feels black and white in a colorful world. Zica seeks to assimilate the transition period she is experiencing through her art: she draws, writes and composes songs with her band formed with her best friend Gui and drummer Batata. When she is alone in her room, she usually talks and reflects with her three pet Chameleons. The episodes are divided between the "real world" in which she lives, the "creative world" that takes place in her room, and a video clip at the end of every episode." (Translated from the portuguese Wikipedia article about the show).
A fully dubbed episode 7 along with an english promo for the show was posted on the official Vimeo account for Cinema Animadores, the production company for the show. You can find those here and here. I couldn’t find any info about the voice actors or the company.
More info: The show was created after a short pilot aired on Anima TV 2010, a brazillian project organized by the government focused on highlighting and producing brazillian animations. There’s a brazillian article that mentions that the show was featured in an online version of a "Variety" magazine. Its official international release was done after MIPCOM in 2015, a french event to buy and sell new television shows for international distribution. (all info taken from the portuguese Wikipedia page)
It didn’t have a huge reception in Brazil as far as I’m aware (most people say it got cut short because of that), so it’s probably lost to time. I’ve tried e-mailing the production company for the show about it, still waiting for a response.

Hi! Details below but the TL;DR is basically the subject line.
I have a combination of undergrad and graduate loans that I consolidated in July 2022 under the Limited PSLF Waiver, as I had an FFEL loan and old periods of qualifying PSLF employment attached to the undergrad loans that I wanted to apply to the graduate loans. On 3/6/24, I submitted a PSLF Employment Certification form for an old qualifying employer, for the dates of 3/2010 through 8/2010. The 6 new payments would have brought the loans to 100 qualifying payments. However, MOHELA erroneously entered the employment dates into the system as 03-01-2010 through 03-06-2024 (using not the employment end date but the date the form was signed/processed), causing the loans to show that they had 14 years of qualifying employment instead of just the additional 6 months attested to on the form. I called MOHELA on 3/7 to attempt to correct this mistake as soon as I noticed it. After a few weeks and many more calls and secure messages, MOHELA corrected the error. Unfortunately, the few weeks in which the loans falsely showed they had over 120 qualifying payments triggered forgiveness on 4/6. I immediately called MOHELA again to attempt to correct the false forgiveness. They placed my account in an administrative forbearance through June and told me I now have to wait for ED to return the loans to their former status. They said they have no sense of or control over the timeline, but that their best guess is that the loans will be reinstated when I am transitioned to be managed through StudentAid.gov during the processing pause.
This has all been incredibly frustrating (to say the least), but an additional wrinkle is that I just graduated from law school and have two graduate loans moving into their grace period that I would love to consolidate into the existing loans before the IDR waiver opportunity ends on 6/30.
So, I am turning to you, my PSLF heroes, for advice - is there anything you recommend I do to attempt to get the loans reinstated in time for the IDR waiver consolidation opportunity? Submit a complaint with FSA? Contact the ombudsman? Find religion? Any and all help is deeply appreciated.
