I hope US Mobile is all staffed up to handle the influx of T-Mobile defectors coming starting tomorrow if the rumors are true about them jacking up prices on their older previously "price locked" plans. People will recall they tried this last October but pulled it back after very negative public outcry. Sounds like they might go through with it this time (that is the working rumor anyway).
8AM Wednesday (5/22) the news should roll out, should be interesting to see what it is all about. Sure lots of buzz over in the T-Mobile sub.

Every summer, we go to New York. We live in Sarasota and we travel by Car. Since my family we are visiting lives in the country, I ALWAYS look forward to going there. But my favorite part, it Virginia.
I remember the first time we passed through my favorite parts. The road on the side of the hill with the trees all around, it was the most beautiful thing ever. Car rides make me feel at peace, especially in nature while listening to my favorite song “Run Wild” by Laney Jones. Sometimes I actually cry when I see pictures of it, I may start bawling out tears when we pass it this summer. Though I only see it twice per year for a few hours, and I want that not to happen.
I want to be able to live somewhere where I can see that EVERY day. I would love it! I remember going next to a river and Laura to swim, it was fun! I am also learning quadrics for my sis so we can play animal games. So I may do it when I’m there.

Earlier this year, I cancelled my xfinity mobile services. It took forever to get it cancelled because they gave me the run around but I finally cancelled. Paid the last bill and thought nothing of it. Well, Xfinity kept saying I was still using their services which I wasn’t. I still have the emails for payment and cancellation. I reported to the BBB when the collections company started spamming my phone. After a while of arguing with them, the collections stated on BBB that they would cease sending it to collections. Yay….but then Xfinity is still trying to say that the charges are valid. They are now saying I had another phone number on my bill, which I didn’t.
All I want to know is that, can Xfinity send the bill to another collections company if they already sold to the first one? Will another collections company come after me?

I keep 2 sims on my phone. One physical and another esim that I use overseas. I was on vacation and was using the esim with my US based sim turned off for the last few weeks.
Just returned to the US and while at the airport went into sim manager settings to disable the foreign sim and turn on T-Mobile, and anytime I would attempt to enable T-Mobile, I would get a "Samsung dialer needs to update first" error. Except I have no data to do a forced update because it won't let me turn my sim card on!
If it wasn't for some free airport wifi, I would have had no way to enable T-Mobile and call an Uber. Who's smart idea at Samsung was it that an update is forced before a sim card can be enabled??

Hey guys, a while ago I bought a thinkpad X1 Carbon Gen 10, I set up all the security measures for it, including setting a supervisor password. Now, I have forgotten my supervisor password, and I opened it up and forgot I had anti-tamper turned on as well, so now not only can I not get into the BIOS but I also cannot get into the OS itself. I read about various methods to remove the password, like the BIOS Auto-Patcher, though this is not something i have done on a newer thinkpad, and my only experience with bios flashing is the one time I installed libreboot on a t440p. Does anyone know any reliable ways to remove the supervisor password? Thank you!

My 22y/o just got dumped unceremoniously by text. They’re enby, disabled & I bring up the latter because of what her partner said: that being with them is like a full time job. I’m heartbroken for them. Also it’s complicated because they’re set to be rooming with them (and another roomie). Been together almost 3 years, and my kid wasn’t always disabled. They got 2 autoimmune diseases 2 years ago and are mobility challenged. I’m kinda scared because they’re bipolar 2 and also going through a med adjustment for depression. I’m bi, just fyi.

Currently in the process of treating periodontal issues, went to see my periodontist on Monday and he told me my home care has been great and a lot of the gum disease has been neutralised.
My course of treatment is now: 1) Root surface Debridement 2) Splinting of perio compromised teeth as 2 teeth are mobile and this will stabilise them 3) A Specialist Periodontal review 4) A gum graft
I’m half Indian (which apparently is a factor), family history of diabetes and gum disease and I was a smoker for the best part of 3/4 years. I smoked anywhere between 5 - 10 cigs a day but I quit earlier this year. After quitting smoking everyday it became a social thing but I have now fully stopped as I’m anxious. My one vice has to be weed, again, used to smoke everyday years ago but toned it down when I moved out in October 2021 and now have the odd smoke once every 2/3 weeks as I like to keep a low tolerance and don’t like to make too much of a habit out of it. My question is, would I have to quit smoking weed completely?
