Gynecomastia + Abdominal Liposuction

2024.05.09 13:56 bambinobirbante Gynecomastia + Abdominal Liposuction

Hello everyone!
I am 30M. I am skinny fat, with fat deposition primarily in chest and abdomen. I have tried to lose weight and even after that, the shape was not good. I came across gynecomastia surgery and VASER liposuction.
Is there anyone who has undergone these surgeries? How was your experience? Also, would be great if you can share your doc's details (anywhere in the world)
If you're an Indian, can you please let me know how much can I expect from a senior professional and an experienced/expert surgeon?
Been under confident and body dysmorphic for the last 17 years. Not anymore. It's my time to overcome my demons.

2024.05.09 13:51 bambinobirbante Gynecomastia cost in India

I have grade 2a gynecomastia. I have spoken with a few surgeons, but I am unable to make up my mind, especially because I feel the cost estimates are too broad: from 80,000 rs to 160000 rs, I have got many quotes. All of these are for VASER + gland removal
The thing is: I also want to go for abdominal (and flanks/back) VASER liposuction.
Anyone here got this combo procedure done? How much should I expect for the abdominal lipo? Share any part of your experience.

2024.04.30 03:46 riverky Men high def vaser lipo in Turkey

Hello, friends. I'm a guy, 26 years old, I have a pretty athletic body, but I've had a couple shocks in my life that caused me to gain fat around my stomach (even though I've been very skinny all my life and loved my abs), which I'm having a really hard time getting rid of.
Nothing critical: my BMI is pretty low, I look pretty good, but I've already done two drydowns and haven't been able to get rid of it all the way.
My figure in general and overall I'm pretty happy with it, but my belly and sides are a little off.
I am considering vaser liposuction high def (not sure yet) and have studied the mat part, realizing that it suits me both financially and overall.
I am thinking of having it done in Turkey as the quality is very good and the prices are affordable. I also thought about Mexico, but I am not sure.

I have a few questions.
1. Could you recommend clinics in Turkey? I am planning to fly to Turkey for a month to do a couple of things like lipo vaser and lasik, if it is possible to do it in one clinic it would be also good, but it is not necessary at all and it is probably better to choose a clinic for each procedure separately.
I found a couple (maybe someone can give a review): Dr. Serkan Balta, Dr. Leyla Arvas, Sapphire hair clinic; I also found a clinic in Poland that seems to have good results (Tops Medics Poland), Revitalize.
In general, I am flexible to the country and can fly anywhere, especially I like to travel.
  1. I know that with liposuction, people like to do fat grafting to another area. I've never been able to get a nice pumped up chest and the idea of pumping some fat in there seems like a good idea, but I'm not sure. Because I don't understand what those breasts would look like then and I haven't seen examples of men who have done it.
I'd love any opinions you guys have, thanks.

2024.04.25 10:44 IYLAH123 Surgery

Hello, I don’t know if anyone here has had cosmetic surgery before. But I have undergone a rhinoplasty, breast augmentation and vaser liposuction. The consultants said a tummy tuck would have been better as I have loose skin from losing a large amount of weight a couple of years ago. At the time of the consultation before my surgery I didn’t have extra money for the tummy tuck. Now as I am recovering after surgery all I can think about is getting a tummy tuck as my loose skin makes me feel so awful and insecure and I have had a horrible battle with my stomach/body dysmorphia since the age of 10 (I am now 24 going on 25). This was due to bullying and being put down by people close to me and having eating disorders and mental health issues throughout the years. I am now constantly obsessing over going back and getting a tummy tuck and now I don’t feel like I deserve to fully go out and enjoy my body or even have any romantic relationships (as sometimes people can tease people about tummy fat which has happened to me before) I feel so low and all I can think about is the next procedure. Any advice or has someone gone through something similar?

2024.04.19 23:49 Longjumping-Put-5289 (US based) is $8500 a good price?

I'm seeking assistance in locating a reputable surgeon who charges reasonable fees.
I've researched some surgeons who are popular on YouTube but have encountered conflicting reviews.
I was quoted $8500 for vaser liposuction and excision of chest tissue with general anesthesia.
But, I recently came across a review where someone paid only $3500 for a surgery. While $3500 seems incredible, I'm concerned it might be too low… or is it?
I'm unsure about every surgeon I’ve come across, so I'm seeking advice from you all (preferably individuals who have had the surgery)z

2024.04.18 14:10 rgece Recovery

Just thought I’d pop in with a post regarding how my recovery’s going.
On day 2 now as the first day doesn’t count! Struggled the first night to sleep and couldn’t get comfortable but definitely helped being on the sofa more sat up right couldn’t sleep in my bed.
Day 1 was a little better as the swelling went down which relieved the pressure from the compression vest a little, it’s more of an ache than pain to be honest and it’s at about 4/10 nothing to heavy the bit which is most tender is near my armpits where they done the incisions for the Vaser liposuction.
Best thing is to keep moving, I find the more I’m sat there the more stuiff I get so trying to be as mobile as possible currently. Slept well last night without any disruptions
Day 2 feeling much better and mobile now just can’t wait until Saturday to be able to take my vest off to have a shower. Getting out and about today for a walk also, just have to keep reminding myself to stop reaching for things overhead etc but all in all going well will update with some pictures pre and post op when I can from Saturday

2024.02.29 07:07 Elegant_Effect_4881 A little worried..

A little worried..
I got Vaser liposuction done 4 days ago. Although I understand it’s way to early to make any assumptions, I never ever had that grace period of looking snatched, even right after. I’m wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience of not only looking the same as before the procedure but even a little worse. You can even see my face looks puffier too. Unfortunately I’ve been comparing my results to other peoples and now I’m a little worried. Not only that but I had a different kind of liposuction (Vaser) done and now I’m worried that it’s not as effective as traditional lipo. The place had a special and I only paid $2339 for everything so I can’t help but feel like I got scammed or something. Someone please tell me I’m overreacting and I need to be patient and trust the healing process lol.

2024.02.20 00:31 anon-turning40 Vaser 360 Liposuction

Hello All Using a throwaway account as cant bear the idea of being outed.
Turning 40 and would want to invest in a 360 vaser lipo for my back, bra line, bat wings, waist and stomach. After two kids, and years of feeling awful About my shape I am ready to take the plunge.
The question I have is, how do people review a good dr versus bad dr? I live in the UK But want to go to the States for this, as I can’t find good drs (with the results I want) here in London.
What questions to people ask, what type of prep do people do? What is the aftercare like? Anyone willing to talk to me about their results and things they wish they did?
I also have a boxy shape, with wide shoulders. Should I consider some of the Drs transitioning people use?
Im a bit overwhelmed by it all. Would welcome any advice

Liposuction is a more invasive procedure that can remove a larger volume of body fat, while body sculpting has less dramatic results.Liposuction may require the use of anesthesia, whereas body sculpting is a non-invasive procedure. The cost of liposuction for body contouring in Chennai can range from 70,000 to 1,20,000 INR on average.

2024.02.10 03:01 mike23554 How recessed is my chin?

So I made a post on chinlipo and a user commented that my chin looks "very" recessed and that lipo alone may not give me the results I desire because of this.
Personally I'd call it a very mild recession, but maybe I don't know what I'm talking about.
Here are some current pics. Top is how I look now, bottom I photoshoped for how I would like to look. I think especially with the submental fat removed, my chin doesn't look too bad.
https://ibb.co/BfH62tV
My other question would be, are such results possible with just pure liposuction without j plasma, vaser, morpheus8, etc. etc.?
I'm hoping they would be considering the small amount of fat that needs to be removed. Also I'm 40 and my skin is generally still quite healthy and elastic.
Thanks for any input!

2024.02.09 01:36 jealousAtheist Sieber Plastic Surgery (Bay Area) Lipo Experience + Cost

I’m curious about liposuction generally as well as the cost estimate for liposuction at Sieber. I’m interested in inner thigh lipo and maybe high def lipo for my waist/stomach. My understanding is that you get a consultation followed by the procedure and some follow up visits, but you also need to do lymphatic massages regularly. I’ve also heard people talk about having pain or numbness for a long time after the procedure.
UPDATE: I got some quotes from the staff working at Sieber. Inner thigh lipo is $5-6k, high def ab etching is $10-14k. I think there’s also a skin tightening laser add-on (VASER?) that I believe is an additional $8k and recommend for ab etching. I *think * that includes anesthesia, but it doesn’t include lymphatic drainage massages afterwards, which I believe is roughly $4k total.

2024.01.30 19:20 GullibleEnd6737 After 3 Consulations, I’m Lost!!

Sorry for the long post! Just finished my 3rd consultation and wanted to share my experience and ask some questions. For reference, I am 34, petite, and my double chin is genetic. Prices range from 4,500-11,000. I am contemplating travel, but these were all located in Las Vegas/ Reno area: EDIT all quotes are with local anesthesia, not general.
Doctor #1: Not a huge portfolio and a lot of her patients apparently don’t consent to showing photos. I can’t find any reviews for her online, but her partner surgeon has all positive reviews. She wants a larger social media presence and portfolio so she’s offering me $5200 for chin lipo + facetite. She’s done a wonderful job on my facial Botox, but I know that’s a completely different thing! I want to trust, and that price is great, but idk.
Doctor #2 Talked more to the coordinator than the doctor. The office was beautiful and they had all the bells and whistles to make the experience feel, “glamorous” (fancy chair with vintage mirror, photos to take home, folder with a portfolio). I see through this stuff a lot, especially living in this area and knowing how salesmanship works here. They recommended a large chin implant with the lipo and wouldn’t budge. Said the way my face is shaped that I will jowl early and my skin will fall without it. They refused to do lipo without. Total is $9.5k
Doctor #3 Another coordinator experience! She was nice, her and the surgeon agreed that I’m a great candidate for chin lipo + vaser. It’s one of those airsculpt places and I did it for my abdomen 10 years ago with great results. The package was $6k for lipo + $3k vaser + $1500 surgeon fees (I would be awake?)= $10.5k
These offices I’ve called, but haven’t booked yet due to consultation fees:
Doctor #4 I would be flying and staying for one night for this doctor. He has an extensive portfolio and lovely results from liposuction. Was quoted $6k-$11k depending on my case, or if I wanted to try jawline filler for the area instead it would be $850 per syringe.
Doctor #5 Liposuction is a flat fee of $4500. Down the street from me and his portfolio is nice! He is not a facial plastic surgeon however, does everything, and primarily specializes in breast augmentation, so I’m unsure if I want to move forward with a consult.
If you made it this far, thank you for reading! Since I’m at the point of traveling, I’d love to hear about pricing in your area and if your doctor had great Realself reviews/ portfolios. I REALLY wanted to go with #1, but there’s so many redflags with them not being able to provide me with photos. I would love for my budget to be $6k with travel, but I’m starting to think that maybe I need to save more? I feel like such a spazz, but this is my face and I want to make the right decision. Thank you!

2024.01.27 10:31 O3digital Six Most Common Causes of Gynecomastia in Males

Six Most Common Causes of Gynecomastia in Males
In a society where body appearance has a major impact on self-esteem and interpersonal relationships, gynecomastia, or the magnification of male breast tissue, negatively impacts the lives of numerous men. Like women who struggle with body image, men who have gynecomastia may experience a surge of insecurity and self-consciousness. The presence of large male breasts can have a profound impact on many aspects of life, including social interactions, intimate relationships, and clothing choices. These effects can extend from the awkwardness of adolescence to the intimacy of adulthood.
It is also true that boys, as well as adults, who have gynecomastia, cannot wear tight-fitted shirts, avoid swimming pools, and are not confident with their partners. Gynecomastia surgery in Delhi provides a specialized remedy for this problem. Overdeveloped male’s chest may be a cause of bullying and sometimes the young boys are depressed and cannot concentrate on studies and other extracurricular activities.

Human beings have been inhabitants of the earth since ages, but the problem of gynecomastia among males is very recent and common in today's world. Here, in India, we discuss the six most common causes which lead to the formation of gynecomastia in today’s males and why we should try to avoid these conditions. If you are considering addressing gynecomastia, Gynecomastia Surgery in India could be a viable solution.
Lack of Activity: Our life has become stagnant and in front of the screens most of the time. Due to decreased physical activity our body tends to collect fat over the belly and chest. belly fat may be easy to burn, chest fat is densely packed and strongly adhered to the glandular tissue. Hence chest fat becomes stubborn and is not easy to melt.
Maternal Transfer of Estrogens: Gynaecomastia in infants and male children is caused by estrogen from their mother, which passes through the placenta. Breast buds are quite common in newborn boys and they usually disappear by 6 months to one year of age, but they can last longer in some.
Diet Rich in Processed Foods: Processed and packed foods usually contain chemicals such as polycarbonates and Bisphenol A. These chemicals block and inhibit the testosterone in the body and lead to excess estrogens and hence gynecomastia.
Eggs, Dairy and Broiler Chicken: All eggs and dairy contain cow's estrogen which increases the concentration of estrogen in the body. In the Indian subcontinent bodybuilders tend to eat broiler chicken most often as a source of protein, but the poultry industry injects these chickens with growth hormones and steroids to fasten growth. Steroids in the human body get converted to estrogens and this free estrogen directly stimulates the chest glandular tissue and proliferates. Once the gland enlarges, it does not shrink.
Anabolic Steroids and Supplements Among Bodybuilder Community - Injectable steroids are commonly abused among the bodybuilder community in gyms. Even the trainers in the gym promote injectable steroid injections in the locker room. steroids develop the muscles and help fat loss but in return have disadvantages in the long run and gynecomastia is the earliest to develop. Protein supplements and muscle building supplements too have anabolic steroids to boost muscle growth , but may lead to gynecomastia.
Alcohol and Beer Consumption: Most of the teenagers and adults in our urban lifestyle are fond of alcoholic drinks. Beers contain prolactin and phytoestrogens. This directly increases the amount of free estrogen in the body and directly leads to gynecomastia formation.
These are some of the commonest causes that are attributed to development of breast tissue in case of males. The treatment of gynecomastia is only surgery, there is no medical treatment of gynecomastia. 2023.12.25 06:04 Wonderful_Case_3204 Vaser liposuction

Hi All!! I just wanted to share my experience of vaser liposuction.... I am currently 17 days post-op and I have drastic results already!!. I had vasor liposuction on my full stomach and flanks which came to a grand total of $5800 including two fajas. Almost 5 liters was taken from the areas and even with the swelling the results are drastic. But the first week through two week recovery is a little bit tough... When they say little down time means that you will not be drowsy or feel like you've had a surgery, that is until it's time for you to do simple things like dressing yourself or sit down...Yes you will be able to walk yourself out of the surgery center by yourself, but sitting will one of the most uncomfortable things you do in the first week after surgery. You will most likely feel the most comfortable standing after your procedure. The procedure was not painful for me, but the amount of discomfort after made me question myself... If you are having your abdominal section of your body done, know that you will not be available to really bend, especially when your body is packed with material to catch the drainage. I absolutely needed help with getting in and out of the bed, the car, putting on my pants and especially with putting on shoes, but everything does get better each day that goes by.. I ended up staying out of work for a full week to give myself time to recover, and honestly that was a little bit too soon. The Faja is a bit of a nuisance, but it is something you can get over with time, but please know that you will probably spend the next week or two sleeping prompted up, which will be the most comfortable position during that time. Also, my Dr. did not impose mandatory post Lymphatic massages, instead I went back to the office three to four times within the first week in the half and the Dr manually drained all the fluid from my body checked all incisions and bandaged everything for me... Your treated areas will harden within the first two weeks creating more discomfort, but with massage (I did mine at home with a massage ball) you will start to feel more normal. Oh yeah, the Faja will be a BIT*H to put on period!!! It will be virtually impossible to get on with help, forget about putting it on by yourself during the first week. Between the strength needed to close the Faja over your swollen belly and the once tenderness that is now pain because of the pressure used from the other person helping you to put it on, you will need a nap to recover afterwards. Now that I am starting to feel more like myself and can finally sleep laying down as opposed to prompted up, things are really starting to look up for me... I had instant results with probably 60 percent of my stomach mass gone with final results being seen at the 6 month mark. They said that my stomach will go down 10 percent every month until 6 months Post-op. Overall I am VERY pleased with my results so far and a little upset that I did not get it done sooner. For reference I am 5'2 and weighted in at 203lbs before the procedure, I wear a size 12 dress size and sometimes I can fit into a size 14 if the waist is cut small. I hope this helps to answer someone's questions.... ☺️
P.S. I forgot to include that I experienced PAH (Paradoxical adipose hyperplasia) after two rounds of coolsculpting over 10 years ago. Pictures to come after more of the swelling goes down..

2023.12.24 23:55 Successful_Pay_1017 VASER Buccal Fat Removal

I've just had a consultation with a doctor and he explained I'd be using vaser liposuction for buccal fat removal. The first clinic I ever asked about the removal of buccal fat said they didn't do VASER for buccal but only neck/jawline and body. So it made me believe this is a rarity... Or new...
Anybody else had the vaser procedure for buccal fat removal/reduction? What is it like? I get super nervous of being mutilated.
