Possesive poems

I'm literally dieing right now of pain, I can't accept reality. I had a relationship of more than 3.5 years, we broke up on 1st September previous year due to some differences and we had a fight. We didn't contact each other until recently. And I guess that was the biggest mistake I did. My girl, let's call her Jenny. When I was with her she couldn't live off me, always used to ask to call me and where I am. She was very possesive as well. I really thought that even though we haven't talked for this long she would wait for me. We had such great moments with each other.
I will be ranting here because I want to let things out of me.
I am very emotionally weak and have problems of severe anxiety and even heart. So I had my exams this week. On Thursday night around 12 AM, I was checking my WhatsApp gallery. Due to my new phone, the pictures of WhatsApp backup came jumbled, and as I was scrolling I saw her pintrest I'd in one of the pictures. I decided to visit it for just seeing how she is doing. Even though I knew because my mother used to talk to her once every week. But when I saw things, I started crying. A guy, let's call him Aman, there was his comment on every post of her. And it were all lovey dovey comments. And the thing is some of they were just after 2-5 days of our breakup. And she had replied to them, she flirted with him in comments just after those many days. And this was happening in Pinterest, what was happening in normal websites like WhatsApp, Instagram and real life?
Seeing this, I cried so intensely that I can't even explain. I called my mother and asked her to ask Jenny to call me. I didn't sleep the whole night. I cried all night, didn't study anything for my exam, then at morning around 4:30 am I got a call from mother saying she will call you right now. Instead of calling she texted me, she had blocked me from everywhere, so I had created a group using my friend's number to add her. She texted there, I asked her to call me, I practically begged her to call me. She didn't call me, and in the text, she was very rude to me. When I asked about Aman, she said yes she's in a new relationship. I was shattered. She left after 20 mins, didn't even reply to all my messages.
I can't imagine letting her go, I called her my home, I feel broken right now. When we fought 7 months ago, I said some bad things in anger. We had a fight which went for a week. She wanted me to do things which I wasn't really comfortable at. I have been an introvert pretty much my whole life and practically hated dancing, she wanted me to dance and all. I said I was not comfortable at doing all of this, she said she won't lower your expectations, she said this a lot of times. In anger I replied her "Lower ur expectation and if u like someone else who can meet your expectations, give it a go." I just said this one time in anger, there was also my expectations which she never met but I never really complained to her about any of those. And one bad thing which I did was, her roommate called me and she was targeting me, I was very angry at that time, so much anger had built up, I said some bad things about Jenny to her in anger- like she did this, she did that and I regret it till now.
I am not able to properly prepare for my exams, I am crying all the time. I was even crying at exam hall while writing my paper. I checked yesterday and she made her Pinterest private, I can't even look at her now.
While we were not in contact, I left my female friends, never looked at a girl, didn't even remove our collection of pictures hanging in my wardrobe. She had given me a rose more than a year ago, the rose is completely withered but I have still kept it safe. I kept writing poems about her, quotes about her. I kept myself busy at work to distract myself when I was missing her. I kept all of our chats, our pictures and gifts safely.
During our time of relationship, I had some female friends, I never spent my time with them alone, always in a group. When I sent her pictures clicked together in groups with them, she used to get mad that I am close to them in pictures while it was just a normal group photo. But when she went to college (she had taken a drop), she sent her photos with boys when she went to beach with them. In one photo she was touchy touchy with her new boyfriend. I didn't really say anything as we were fighting at that time.
She said that I didn't put up efforts. I didn't use to eat bahar ka khana, save money for her in order to buy gifts for her. I bought a silver necklace for her just 4 months before our breakup. She wanted me to write letters to her but I am not into art and craft so I wasn't able to write letters properly, instead I used to write poems for her. I used to make video and picture edits.
For my previous birthday she gifted me a tshirt. I said I will be wearing it on my birthday but I was stuck in Ranchi due to some reasons and my tshirt was in my hometown. I felt so bad that I wasn't able to wear that tee. I said that I will be wearing the tee next year and even though so many things have happened, I will be wearing that tshirt on my birthday, I know that I will be crying while wearing that tshirt but I don't really care.
It's been so long but honestly I can't date anyone. I won't be able to date anyone after this. I can't love someone other than her. She was my one and only and I will never get over her. In our relationship we did so many stupid things, so much love and what not? I didn't expect her to change so much so suddenly. Do people really change this much in such a short amount of time? I wish things could have been different. I hope we solved our differences and fight in another Universe. I will always love her, I hope she will live the happiest life.

If there is a reboot season 3 I think we should add one of Chase his friends. (I will call them Eduardo) And the intern Wayne befriended (I will call her Florence)
The season would have 26 episodes and 3 teams picked by the 3 finalists.
Team A: Wayne, Priya, Raj, Axel, Ripper, Florence Team B: Julia, MK, Bowie, Emma, Millie, Zee Team C: Caleb, Damian, Lauren, Chase, Eduardo, Nichelle
Episode 1: Priya thinks Caleb should make more friends which results in Caleb picking Damian in his Team first. Seeing how upset this makes her Wayne picks Priya for his Team (ofcourse making her even angrier). Julia only picks Bowie to vote him out early. Team A decides on Raj as Team leader, making Priya even more stressed. This episode has no one being eliminated.
Episode 2: MK and Julia try to convince their Team to vote off Bowie. Axel and Florence work together this challenge becomming friends. Eduardo helps his Team take the lead as Chase keeps hyping him up. Damian tries to hide from Lauren. The Episode ends with Team B choosing to lose so they can vote off Julia early. (Dont worry its not the end for her)
Episode 3: MK doesnt feel like playing anymore since Julia is out and she is next, but Zee tries to chear her up. Nichelle helps Damian hide from Lauren (who is dressed like Julia to seem more normal). Raj shows himself as a great Captain but team A end up losing because Ripper takes to long in the challenge thinking of a new poem for Axel, after Eduardo scares Ripper he might lose her. Ripper gets voted out, making Axel sad to see him go. Before he goes he gives the new poem to Axel.
Episode 4: Caleb tries to make friends with his Team mates, which makes Eduardo super possesive of Chase. Priya gets taught by Wayne how to be more chill, since Raj can handle the Team. Bowie, Emma and Millie start an alliance as Bowie and Emma finally make up. Eduardo, Frames Caleb for his Teams loss afraid that he might take Chase from him. And Caleb goes home leaving Priya sad she couldnt have spend more time with him.
Episode 5: Priya doesnt wanna hang out with Wayne anymore since she was so relaxed last Episode she couldnt help Caleb. Florence tells Axel she has a crush on Wayne, not suprising Axel at all. MK does her help to break up the three way alliance, with Zee "helping" her. Nichelle wins the challenge for her Team, saying the last seasons she trusted her teammates to much and this time she wants to work alone. MK ends up being elliminated this Episode.
Episode 6: This Episode is aftermath with Julia and MK as hosts. We get Ripper reading a newly written poem on live tv having found his new passion. We also get Calebs interview.
Episode 7: This Episode has an duo ice skate challenge. Axel makes shure that Wayne and Florence get to skate together instead of Raj. Millie gets pared up with Zee who turns out to be a 6th generation ice skating champion, winning the challenge together. (Ofcourse Wayne and Raj are super excited over this) Scary Girl (dressed as MK) gets to dance with Damian, losing badly. Damian is excited at the idea of voting of Scary Girl but Chris reveals this was a non elimination challenge.
Episode 8: Wayne and Priya are stuck together and Wayne gets Priya to calm again. Raj manages to somehow win the challenge with only Axel and Florence in his team. (Getting a lot of praise from Bowie) Emma and Bowie mess with Chase this Episode, and Eduardo seeing how close they are convinces Millie that she isnt safe in her alliance, since Bowie and Emma are way closer then she is with both of them. Eduardo also tries to flirt with Nichelle trough out the Episode. Team B loses. Bowie and Emma vote for Zee, while Millie and Zee vote for Bowie. After a small tie breaker Zee is send home. But Bowie knows someone betrayed the alliance.
Episode 9: Wayne and Priya keep relaxing, With Florence joining in because she is jealous of Priya. Millie, Emma and Bowie are paranoid who might have Broken the alliance last Episode. Eduardo and Nichelle keep talking, causing Damian to mistrust Eduardo. But before he can say anything he is hunted by Scary Girl (Zee form). Raj and Axel couldnt win on their own and so Team A loses. This results in Priya being eliminated since the Team is already used to Wayne not doing much.
Episode 10: This episode is a zombie Episode. Axel takes charge of her Team for this Episode as zombie expert, naming Raj her number 2. Bowie has to chose between saving Emma or Millie but cant decide since one of them betrayed him, and he chooses to late. Chase helps wingman Eduardo with Nichelle. It goes wrong but atleast Eduardo gets an alliance with Nichelle out of it.
Episode 11: Axel convinces Florence to confess her crush on Wayne, but somehow Wayne doesnt get what is happening. Team B are all suspicious of each other causing them to almost leave the episode. Team C does really well with Chase pulling his weight. But Scary Girl kind of flips out wenn Damian ignores her even wenn she tries her best acting normal, losing their team the challenge. Scary Girl gets send home.
Episode 12: Another aftermath episode. We have after talks with Zee and Priya. Scary Girl has to be brought in in a Cage for everyones safety. The episode ends with Scary Girl out of the Cage dressed as Julia. And Julia being gone.
Episode 13: The 3 teams merch back into 2, and Chris reveals Julia is back in the race to even the teams (this was supposed to be Scary Girl, but Julia got switches with her) Team D: Wayne, Chase, Eduardo, Julia, Axel, Florence Team E: Raj, Bowie, Emma, Millie, Nichelle, Damian Bowie doesnt have time for Bowie since he tries to restore his friendship with Emma. Eduardo snitches on Millie and reveals she broke the alliance, resulting in Millie being send home.
Episode 14: Florence finally confesses to Wayne, with Wayne revealing he is not ready yet to date, but he likes her. She is a real dude. (This is meant very well, but Wayne makes it sound a bit rude) Julia convinces Eduardo and Chase to work together since otherwise they would easy to pick off on their own. Eduardo doenst want to but he still does, to protect his buddy Chase. Bowie is extremely stressed with managing the Team and not having time for Raj. But Raj says its okay, even planning a small date for himself and Bowie. Axel convinces her Team to vote off Wayne for rejecting her BFF. Eduardo and Julia vote Wayne off with pleasure, putting their teams numbers in their favor.
Episode 15: Axel tries to chear up Florence. Chase tries to flirt with Emma again and she finally gets troigh to him that they will never date again. Damian and Eduardo have a match to see who can win Nichelles friendship. With Eduardo winning.
Episode 16: Eduardo and Nichelle work together to sabbotage Axel, so Eduardo can pin the loss on her, but they dont manage and Axel wins the challenge for her Team. Bowie and Emma work together on the challenge again, finally repairing the dammage in their frienship fully (again) Julia convinces Chase that Team E will vote out Nichelle. Chase decides to be a good wingman, and leaves the game even tho he wants on the chopping block himself. Emma seeing Chase do something selfless gives him a hug of respect before he leaves.
Episode 17: Julia tells Eduardo he has no other choice then working together with her now Chase is gone. On the same time Julia tries to secure an Alliance with Bowie, saying Eduardo is the real enemy. Florence and Axel have a yay cool friendship moment. Nichelle at the end of the episode finds the inmunity idol. Team D has to vote someone out and it results in a 2 v 2 vote between Florence and Eduardo. With Florence being eliminated after the tie breaker.
Episode 18: Aftermath 3 with MK being held hostage by Scary Girl Julia. They interview Millie and Chase. They also interview Wayne and Florence with Wayne getting redeemed and saying he would love to date Florence one day, but he wants to get to know her first. The episode ends with scary girl being taken away by security.
Episode 19: Raj finds out about the Bowie and Julia alliance and they fight a bit but make up at the end of the episode. Nichelle shows her immunity idol to Eduardo, but Julia also finds out. Julia thinks she can outplay Eduardo, by having Emma, Raj, Bowie and herself vote for Nichelle. Since she figures Eduardo took the idol for himself. But as it turns out Eduardo had Nichelle keep the idol for herself and so the votes on her dont count. Making it so their votes get out Bowie to break up Julias alliance. Wenn Bowie leaves, Raj decides to join him and both are eliminated.
Episode 20: Julia desperatly tries to make a new alliance with Damian, promissing to help him take down Eduardo. Emma tries to become friends with Axel since she lost her last friend in Bowie. But Axel wants to work alone. Eduardo comes clean to Nichelle about all the eliminations he has caused. But Nichelle doesnt care aslong as they Eliminate Julia next.
Episode 21: Julia steals Axels poem she got from Ripper and has Damian frame Eduardo. But Damian betrays her and frames Julia herself. (He is still angry with her from last season). Emma tries to become friends with Nichelle, cause Emma is still afraid to be without friends. Julia is voted out for stealing the poem as she says she is impressed by Damian.
Episode 22: This is a hunting challenge. Axel is still pissed over her poem being stolen last episode and she becomes dangerous hunting. Both for the animals and the other campers. Damian sets a trap for one of the animals but accidently traps Eduardo and he decides to keep Eduardo trapped so he cant win the challenge. Emma and Nichelle hunt for the same animal, causing Nichelle to think Emma is still following her and becomming angry with her. At the end Axel is to dangerous and send home.
Episode 23: Damian tries to think of ways to get Eduardo send home. Eduardo and Nichelle have a romantic episode. Emma finally is on her own and manages to win invincibility. Damian manages to frame Eduardo for trying to sabotage Nichelle. He manages to convince Emma and even Nichelle herself and so Eduardo is send home.
Episode 24: Aftermath 4 Everyone gets interviewed and we get MK/Julia cutenese and maybe even romance???
Episode 25: This episode is a race The final 3 get paired up with a camper who already lost. Damian keeps wanting to cheat to win, but Wayne manages to stop him, and convinces him that was Damian has been doing isnt better than Julia or Eduardo. Nichelle and Julia have to try to work together. And Julia reveals that Eduardo actually didnt betray her but it was Damian. Emma and Bowie are in the lead until Bowie gets stuck. Bowie tells Emma to go on. But Emma has decided even tho she could win on her own she would rather lose and be with friends. Emma comes last and thst way is eliminated.
Episode 26: Nichelle and Eduardo make up and make out. Damian decides to play fair. Scary Girl is heavily involved in this episode as one of the obstacles. Damian and Nichelle both get a winning ending.

We know there are 10 primordial demons and by now just 2 are confirmed as playable champs, Fiddlesticks (the Primordial Demon of Fear) and Nilah (who empowers Ashlesh, the Primordial Demon of Joy).
Fiddlesticks is the first of the 10 as it states in his bio: "So impossibly ancient that it has always been [...] The terror of all living things, given life in that first terrible scream of creation. A demon before demons were known."
He probably is the First of the 10 because he was the first to be born or to ever appear in Runeterra. Fiddle's color story introduced the lore of The 10 with the Demacian Poem of the ten kings, some people says that those kings the poem talks about are not in fact the demons but ancient Kings in Runeterra, but is more likely to be the actual Ten Primordial, the last two lines of the poem are likely refering to Fiddlesticks: "One left to scratch upon their mounds, The crow, alive and dead ".
There's something about those mounds mentioned in the poem that makes me think of Fiddlesticks as the one supposed to set free the other 9 Primordials. Why is not so clear but maybe because he is way too powerful to be killed or vanished, or maybe there's another reason but his ultimate will is under my point of view to free the other nine of their prisons/tombs or whatever.

About Ashlesh is not much we know about but he was imprisoned in a sacred lake below the Kathkani capital, and the Seventh Layer guards him. Now Nilah is wielding its power herself to slay giant monsters and become a legend while investigating about The 10, and looking for Viego because she is worried the Black Mist could awake some of the other primordials since it has brought so many chaos in runeterra after the Ruination events, and chaos is a point in favor of the demons of any kind.
What's more, one Nilah voiceline says: "Seven hands reach for seven locks, yearning to break free." it's not clear why but the number seven is very related to Ashlesh (maybe because he is the seventh primordial demon, or just for being locked in the seventh layer of the underworld, it is uncertain by now).

Now there are two other primordial demons that we have hear of from various sources, one of those two is the Primordial Demon of Pain, that appears in the description of Spirit Blossom Vayne skin and briefly mentiond during the SB event, yeah i know it's a skin but this especific skinline is based on Ionian canon stories, and Jared Rosen (the rioter who wrote both stories of Fiddle and Nilah, and practically the entire Demon lore of League) basically confirmed in a tweet that that demon was one of The 10, so to not overextend that would be 3 of the 10 be know so far, but what I've recently found is that in some letters in the brand new Riot Forge's game Convergence.
A Piltover Academy's professor responds to a student , in what I believe was a tesis propose about demonology or something similar, to quote: "An evil scarecrow, a hyena that sits in a lake, and a shut-in with depression? ..." . The scarecrow reference is obviously talking about Fiddlesticks, the Hyena could be kinda confusing but is probably refering to Ashlesh as it's the demon of joy and so he laughs and is locked down in a lake so it's the more fitting answer, the interesting part is the third one: "a shut-in with depression"
There has been a lot of speculation about that, some people think that is the new ink mage that riot has talked about in the april roadmap because of those hints riot left : "[...] He just kind of stood there with a mournful expression [...] we found the artist himself to be broody and somber. He must have gone through something terrible in his past or something..." this could kinda fit with the description of sadness and may be caused because this new champion is possesed or tormented by the Primordial Demon of Sadness in contraposition with Ashlesh the Primordial Demon of Joy.
Anyways, I am not sure about this hypothesis since Nilah was released less than a year ago and the last update of the demons' lore was the fiddlesticks rework 3 years ago so unless Riot is planning a big event of The 10 coming to league's lore and an In-game big event like Ruination (but well-planned pls Riot), i don't really think they are gonna bring another demon to the roaster soon, or at least not another demon stuck inside a person as Nilah or Swain (tho technically Ashlesh is inside the spheric jar Nilah wears in her waist hold by two hands, and Swain has phisically the demon inside of him).

Well that was a lot of text but I am very interested in these demonic plot of the league of legends lore, I may have made some mistakes and this is not the complete lore of these demons but I didn't want to make it longer, all these is just some things I've been thinking of and connecting through videos, tweets, champ bios and more so feel free to comment ur opinions and correct my mistakes, and also share your theories about how Riot are going to manage all this plot line, or who those 2 other primordial demons could be or how could they come back to Runeterra.
PD: No, Evelynn, Tahm Kench, Nocturne and presumably Raum (Swain's demon) are not part of The 10, they are just normal demons that have grown in power and conciousness since they have been consuming tons of magical and vital essence from their enviroment, or maybe I'm mistaken until Riot updates the lore this is what we have guys.

This verbal vomit of vaguely vitrolic opinions is operating under the assumption you already know what the Mimic is, what happens during the Tales story: The Mimic and the jist of the lore implications
William Aftons potential return has been argued over for ages, mainly opposed by Fnaf 6 enjoyers (but my dislike of that story thats another hot take for a different time) and now with the most recent book that argument has been temporarily put to rest with it finally revealing the full origins of The Mimic, cue much rejoicing and the #MimicSweep
but tbh this isn't much better, infact this is kinda worse and heres why
The Mimics unoriginal Orgins and weird timeline placement
The Mimic as a concept is inherently unoriginal, thats literally what it means to be a mimic it copys others, but its lack of charecter is not helped by the fact that his origins is incredibly stock standard for this franchises, the description of "Genius Roboticist in the 80s loses a child and one of the machines it creates gets possesed and attacks people" now describes 4 seperate charecters and an associated Robot (Henry, William, Talbert and Edwin with The Marionette, Circus Baby, The Stitchwraith and The Mimic) seriously what is causing all the reverse Orphan Roboticists to gravitate towards Fazbear entertainment, and the fact that the mimic has been around since the beginning of the timeline but did literally nothing until help wanted is dumb, not logically unsound (i've argued enough to accept "someone turned it off" as an explination) but just dumb and would be less of a headache if it was made sometime before help wanted but after fnaf 6 instead of sitting in some backroom for 40 years while everyone completely forgets that there is a murderbot sitting there.
The Mimic is just Banking off of Williams Villain cred
The Mimic is not its own unique Villain, its entire thing is that its pretending to be William Afton but worse and with none of the compelling backstory, motivation or even hints of a personality (since 99% of its showtime in the books is just mindlessly killing people) that made William Afton compelling as a villain, is this really that much better than Afton returning? because this is an convoluted to the point of stupid explanation to include william aftons design and traits without him just returning. The Mimic has nothing of its own to stand up on as its own distinct entity, so whats the point of its backstory if all it does is act as a clone of afton (and a shit one at that) if everyone wants to move on so badly why are we not actually moving on and clinging to Afton, this feels like a step foward and a step back.
The Mimic is basically not in the games
this can be kinda coupled with the ongoing debates over the books and the growing annoyance at them being mandatory to actually understanding the lore, because lets be honest while their are some hints at The Mimic, these are so insignificant and obscure you would never understand them without the books telling you about it at least Gregory 46 could be guessed even if some parts didn't make a whole lot of sense
but this is stupid, the spit and tears on glitchtrap are barely noticable, Burntrap only holds his arms that way in the cutscenes (they are otherwise at his sides like a normal person) and the wall code is a barely comprehensible gibberish poem, hell given the fact that everytime a mimic thread happens a couple people ask what the mimic even is, Ruin has a lot of ground to cover to properly introduce the mimic to the games and to people that understandably don't read the books
How to Improve The Mimic
i may hate the mimic, but just hating it doesn't do anything productive so im going to try and think of ways The Mimic could be improved and salvaged from its currant state as discount Willy
Establish an actually unique Identity for it
The Mimic should first and formost be its own thing, not just a copycat, so we need to give it an identity, a personality and its own goal, lets start with identity; first make it not a rabbit, give it its own visual identity, this is easy because the mimic already has another animal to associate with; Tigers! it carries around a Tiger Plush, the storyteller is a tree with a tiger head, and the upcoming book Tiger Rock is certainly going to have the mimic, since the Tiger has burntraps endo (shown by the arm) and the description mentions a VR attraction.
second have it stop copying williams personality (or what little of it, it displays through others) make The Mimic his own man, make him angrier and more violent, make it actually intelligent and robotic to contrast the more silly human quirks of Afton and Vanny, make him different so he can stand on his own
Bring Back William for real
while this may sound like my Bias's coming through, fact is we are currantly kinda stuck on William since the Mimic is full swing copying him and it would be weird for him to suddenly stop so instead of faffing about with technically bringing him back to bank of off his Villain Cred actually bring the man back, having the two together will bring out contrasts which will help to seperate them, story wise i would have it that at some point in the 80s-90s William Found the Original Mimic and made it a contingency plan, somewhat altering it in a way so that in the event he dies the mimic will continue his work and also revive him, this gives a good reason why its copying william so ardently and why its bothering to dig into the pizza sim location or why its even keeping human followers instead of killing them, hes acting under aftons orders but this also keeps him as his own entity seperate from william
Then Kill off William Again
as i said we are stuck on william right now, so in order to smoothly get away from this we need a dramatic enough event to confirm the moving on, and having William openly die again is a perfect way to do that, lets say in this hypothetical William Mimic Ruin, newgirl Freddy, Chica, Vanessa and Gregory foil Aftons new resurrection scheme and finally kill him for good, severing his ties with the franchises story for good
but The Mimic escapes all the conflict and is now its own agent free to persue its own goals, cue sequal with The Gang chasing down the mimic to stop its own schemes
boom we now have completely severed The Mimic from Afton, appeased both sides of the Afton vs Mimic by having both show up and killing Afton for good and set up a new villain that is properly its own thing instead of copying an already established franchise villain

I need to say finding what is limerence is a relief. For the first time I am able to relate with the crippling question of "what's wrong with me?" and, funnily, this reinforces the ideas I have been building up with time, therapy and experience. I have some concerns I would talk about it in other post about how beneficial and scientific is the term itself, since all mental conditions are pretty hard to approach to, but I think putting a name to this other than being an "obsessed" is more helpful than harmful. But I would like first to talk about myself and offer a bit of hope.
As said, I have been wondering what the fuck is wrong with me for years. I used to have a really poor romantic life as a teenage and in my early 20s. So in that time, it was easy to justify my Limerence Episodes and, need to say, they were mooore easier. Just lasted a few months, no much psychological burden other than sadness and poor eating habits and what I considered the normal amount of pain, low self esteem and so on that happens when you are heartbroken.
First time it got mental and "pathological" was, paradoxically, when I started to have a successful dating life. I broke up with my long time partner, somebody I didn't really had deep feelings for, and then I met this person. With her the usual pattern for me started. I meet somebody I'm not really that much into, but at some point there is a twist and I start to like them, most of the times based on similar tastes in cultural things, hobbies and so on. And the limerence starts as soon as they become unavailable. In my case, for example, needs to have been any sort of "lover" experience. Never had a LO that has shown no romantic or sexual interest, either happened so far with anybody that has openly rejected me. In my case, the LO has always set some expectations before, maybe not for a relationship but to keep seeing me as a sexual interest or whatever. Without that breadcrumbs, I don't fall into limerence. And I think this is important to understand that limerence is really different depending on the subject.
And another key aspect of this first "pathological" limerence is the fact that I felt guilty about it for the first time. And I got the diagnosis of depression. I was in my late 20s so I didn't had the "excuse" of being too childish or naive to develop such strong feelings for somebody I had seen so little. So, in a way, the feeling that my feelings were "wrong" or "pathological" made them, in fact, more pathological. Intrusive thoughts are stronger because you feel them so wrong that you fight against them constantly. You feel guilty and ashamed of having feelings for somebody over months when you have seen that person less than 5 times. You feel rejected not for your body or "uncoolness" but rather for being a psycho obsessive piece of shit, as for me limerence always happens in the early stages of dating somebody and it's hard not to believe "it's your fault" for being so atttached so soon (and even some people will directly tell you that). That is more painful than the unresolved love, at least for me.
After that, all my LE has gone worst in a psychological way. And that was because the fucking guilt and shame, which are the real killers on limerence. The feeling that you are doing "something wrong" and that's why you can't be with your LO is normally what keeps the hope alive. You can do it better, right? Must be something you are doing wrong.
But I've tried everything. Disclose as soon as I feel it. Keep it for myself and play cool. Give the person space. Force them to make a decision. But the reality is, as soon as you feel limerence, that probably means is not gonna work. Because it only happens when you don't see the reciprocation you want; when you have it, it just don't become intrusive and painful.
I'm close to my 40's, I've had 5 "official" LO so I know a bit about this. And now is when I start to see the light, even thou it has been a painful revelation. But need to say finding this community has helped, just to check that I've done some things right, even thou it always feels hopeless and desperate when you fall on it over an over (this last two years I've had 3 different LO). Because, sorry if this sounds harsh for those who are more "in the shit" than me, seeing how people are still trapped in dynamics I have escaped years ago, proves that it can get better through self work and life experiences. So now, as this were an SEO optimized article, wanna share some things that have helped me.

1. It is not false love. This is another way of thinking that makes you more guilty and ashamed. Love has always a component of idealization. I myself have, after overcoming some LO's, realized that I liked those persons for real. It's just their unavailability made it harder to overcome, hides the bad part of them and the dependency makes it harder to move on. Most of the issues we have when we fall in limerence are the same that "normal" people fall into. Idealization, missing the person, connecting everything to them... that happens to most of the people, but in different degree, and for most, the lack of reciprocation is the killer. But we just have too much hope, addiction or just hard times accepting it's not gonna work.
2. It is not true love either. Another source of pain is to believe that, if it's not limerence, it's not true love. Limerence is just a state that only occurs when the person is not fully available. And again I have experienced this. A few times I've seen the limerence starting to grow as I've perceived the person unavailable, but as soon as they become available, it disappears. And that's not bad or make it less exciting, it just makes it less obsessive and a healthy bond.
3. You are not doing anything wrong. More source of guilt and pain is to keep reading this shitty pop psychology SEO optimized blogs that blames you for looking the "unreachable" and getting addicted to it. Psychology is pretty much a proto-science so, even if the best approach we have to understand our minds, most of the knowledge we have is still unclear, outdated or just not suitable for everybody. You might have a unhealthy pattern looking for partners, or you just might not. You might have a trauma or you might not. The only thing we know that happens is we get obsessed with people we can't be with, and the lack of reciprocation makes us get hooked to it. Why this happens is unclear, and unless a specialist tells you a reason, you should not blame yourself. Love, limerent or not, is mostly unconscious and irrational. Maybe it's biological, maybe not. We don't even understand yet why we have depression, the most common mental illness, so in a condition that makes you suffer by guilt and shame, blaming yourself and "unhealthy patterns" for it, probably does more harm than help.
4. Go to therapy. If these limerence episodes are pretty bad, go to therapy. Go to the psychiatrist even, if the anxiety and depression are crippling. Might sound contradictory with the previous point, but as far as we are not sure if this is just a biological/genetical issue or a cognitive problem, therapy will always help. It will rarely just "cure" you (cause maybe there is nothing to cure?), but will help you to cope. As said, in my case is the guilt and shame the real depressor here, other than the intensity of my feelings, so it has helped me. I recommend ACT therapy or cognitive behavioral therapy, as they are the most scientific efficient and less based in Freudian outdated shit (tried this and just made me feel more sad and guilty)
5. Disclose. And then, NC. Always disclose, if possible. I've seen here people having LO for years and never disclose. I am lucky in the way that it rarely goes over a year, and that is probably because I always disclose. And not because I am a superhero, just because I can't swallow my feelings (which has a downside). The only way that can make a LO a real SO is by disclosing, so there is no point not to do it. "But I should wait, it's too early, I have this insane love so he/she's normal so he/she needs time..." bullshit. People, limerent or not, need to go at the same pace, or at least the other person might be up to keep your pace. Non limerent people also fall in love in a short span of time. This has been a hard pill to swallow for me, since all my LO has been people making promises about "not now but in the future". If it feels like limerence and disclosing doesn't makes it end, then there is no point to wait. So don't buy promises. Try to no contact, even if it's hard. I am myself in a limerence episode and not following this rule, cause I think feelings have dropped and I am kind of trying a "shock therapy". So, even this is the hardest thing to do, we know it works. Keeping it friendly might work, as you can realize how shitty that person really is or getting immune by exposition. But probably makes it harder. Just be sure to stop when it gets really bad. And for a light of hope, sometimes disclosing works. It once worked for me, and as said, that person revealed herself available and we started a relationship.
6. You are not your thoughts. This is a hard one. And is related with the concept of limerence as true love or not. Let's explain my case: I am pretty independent. In my relationships I have been never jealous. I don't believe in posession or even in monogamy. I don't believe in the traditional romantic love ideal of one romantic partner through your whole life, yet I believe in love and long lasting bonds. I am pretty feminist and never see my partners as my property. I don't want to get married. I just want to connect romantically with people, as long as those feelings are mutual, and keep the bond as far as it is possible, even if it evolves to friendship. So, as you can see, that's totally the oppostite of how limerence makes you feel. So this has been a source of pain for me. But the approach to this is quite similar to OCD; I am not my thoughts. Those intrusive thoughts are involuntary and they do not represent who you are. I am convinced limerence develops easier if your conscious mind is really monogamic, possesive and family-goal oriented (basically traditional romantic values, which they have nothing wrong if healthy), but also low self esteem helps. But sometimes you notice how the intrusive thoughts are totally opposite as your core values, and it doesn't means you are lying to yourself. Limerence is an estate of mind, not who you are.
7. Deconstruct love. Related to the previous point. I am sure most of people who experience limerence have this Disney approach to love. Which, again, is not bad. But think about deconstructing what love is. Try to focus on other thing than romantic expectations. Try to approach to different ways to connect people. Ethical non monogamy, anarchist relationship... whichever model that doesn't makes you believe you just need to find a "significant other" to be happy, but also, as a good limerent that needs to feel loved, that reinforce the idea of love as a core value in life. This doesn't "cure" the limerence as the intrusive thoughts are involuntary, but it does help. This is something I don't relate with most of the OP's here; they actively buy their intrusive thoughts about that person "being the only one" or they will never find "the true love". Of course I have those thoughts as well, but it helps that my rational mind don't buy them. Of course this is a suggestion, everybody is free to believe in whichever concept of love they have. But consider this point, not as a cure, but a way to keep your conscience grounded and avoid buying the idealization, even thou it's gonna be always involuntary.
8. Go back to former LO once overcome them. This helps A LOT. But be sure it's safe 100%. It helps you to realize that you had solid reasons to love that person, but also to realize there were red flags on them. Limerence is based a lot on delusions, so approaching to a former delusion once you can see them through a realistic POV helps a lot. You might realize all those months blaming yourself for being too attached were worthless when you see your former LO falling in the same attachment dynamics as you with other people. It helps with the bitterness if you discover that the person was true with their statements or not wanting anything serious from anybody, but also helps if you find she or he wasn't just as much into you as you were. It just leverages you for the weight of guilt about doing things wrong, since most of the times, it has nothing to do with you and your behavior to make them available.
9. Avoid bitterness. My current LO played with me. She gave me hopes of evolving in a relationship. When I disclose, she gave me hopes again. Then she told me she wasn't ready, so I went NC. She insisted to keep being friends and let's see in the future. I kept my NC for 6 months. After seeing each others and had some drama from my side, she again insisted to go through this together as friends. When I felt a bit ready to come back as friends with her, her reciprocation, even as a friend, was uneven. I could here have take two toxic decisions, which are to blame myself and my feelings, or to hate her. None of them will make me happier. People are confused. People are scared. People can be manipulative, but that doesn't means they are bad persons or never cared about you. Learn to forgive and forget. Which is pretty hard, specially if you put on behalf forgiveness over your own pride. But there is no point to hate anybody. We all are a mess in the head, just avoid the people that harms you, no matter how good persons they can be in the core. But never through bitterness. And this I've learn by being myself the LO of other people.
10. Take the best of limerence. Limerence is bad because it just happens when the person is not available. But it's born within love. And love can makes us improve. Keep a good balance between improving yourself for your own sake and for your LO admiration. Examples here; I developed the habit of go for runs while I was dating a LO. I still running even if the feelings are far gone. Same with a lot of good habits, or same with hobbies I found or rediscovered through a LO. Don't overthink too much about if you are doing to impress your LO; if that's the case, you will end doing that. But this happens even in healthy bonds; it's unavoidable to get habits and tastes for the people we love (and limerence STILL love). Easy example, if your LO loves to play guitar and to skate, and you are a music person, it's ok if your limerence drives you to learn how to play the guitar. But for god sake don't start to skate to impress them! Also try to take those euphoric feelings, or even the sadness, and turn them into something beautiful. One of my best poems was born out of limerence and, even this has been overcome years ago, still the best lyric.
11. It gets better. I just realized I can endlessly write about the topic, but I think this is the key aspect. It always get better. Even if it feels like it doesn't. With some self work, therapy, life experiences and so on, it always gets better. My first LO made me feel so unhappy, hate me so much, fall into compulsions like checking myself in the mirror several times per day, crying in the streets, stalking who she was befriending on Facebook on a daily basis... this last one, even if it's super though by accumulation, hasn't had that much power over my actions. I don't buy the intrusive thoughts. I don't stalk her social media. I need way more breadcumbs nowadays to fall into limerence; I could fall, back in time, just after one night of sex, but nowadays needs months of dating and clear expectations from the other person. Improvement has been made, yet falling on it constantly is frustrating. But it gets easier if we work on it. It's like depression; we don't acknowledge our progress until we are out of it.

Okay I'm usually not this petty about mutual compensation and I'd rather chose to forget anything that mildly makes me uncomfortable to this degree. But for some reason for the last 3 months I've been extremely bitter about this as it came as a complete and uncalled shock to me. Over the course of my life (25F) I have prided myself on being there for my friends, there to dole out advice and there to leave sentimental momentoes in their possesion hoping that they'll remember me in the years ahead when maybe the friendship fizzles out. I want them to know that I was there encouraging them and being the rock that always understood them. This year I have been struggling with coping with my depression and anxiety unable to exude confidence in anything I do, unable to feel deeply and enjoy the nuances of life. It has been a horrendous few months of constant anguish and instability in my own emotions. This year was quite tumultuous as alot things happened, I graduated from dental college, hence said goodbye to alot of friends, homes and cities. Since I've also moved around alot through most of my life I believe in leaving sentimental gifts and msgs with friends and loved ones wherever I go. This year was no different as it was the last year in a familiar place. I made sure to make lists of all the things my friends had ever wanted and sticking to my budget I wanted to get them great gifts, never expecting anything in return. I knew some of them couldn't afford to buy me expensive gifts so I never cribbed or chastised them but always thanked them for it and collected each one carefully curating my collection of random shit I probably would never use but it felt good to be reciprocated. For context I've never really had bday parties or friends who liked to reciprocate with anything. So for a girl friend let's call her K, over the course of college(5yrs)I'd been regularly gifting her journals and wonderful letters of appreciation and encouragement with lovely drawings etc, I would write poems and leave notes of appreciation for bdays and anytime she felt down I was there. This year she got into mandala art and I made sure to get her the microfine pens she couldn't afford just because I wanted her to continue and make great things and get better. I also promised to draw something for her but as I struggle with getting even mildly productive tasks done I haven't been able to draw or write emotionally sentimental art or gifts. Another friend let's call her T, who makes a huge deal out of bdays is in love with peacocks and Indian mythology and a plethora of things she mentioned in passing. I bought her gorgeous multicoloured peacock earrings, a novel and actually forced myself to sit and make a beautiful gift with a cheesy poem about our friendship. I organised her bday celebration and gave up my limited time with my bf(we meet like 3-4 times a year for 2-3 days) to celebrate her bday. I never complain, I never say anything. I comply with every whim. Thirdly another gf wanted to get into Harry Potter so in the last few days of college we binged watched each movie(I would have forced her to read the books but I can be a tyrant when it comes to discussions later on) me going into indepth explantions about every character, JK Rowling s reasoning and why the series worked and was wonderful specially for a misfit kid like me growing up. She obviously Dell in love with it. So for her bday which was 9 days before mine in the same month I made sure to gift her HP merch and additionally remembered stuff she said in passing about certain jewelry which I also gifted with a lovely letter. Another friend who proceeded to completely cut me from his life, who's a huge HP fan I had gifted merch and actually hand drew and wrote a poem taking inspiration from the maurauders map and rolled 2 hash j(420 buds). Now when my bday rolled around, I was back at home, and I was being dramatic about how terrible it is to be 25, I'm usually not excited about it as it is always a terrible day(people forget it, I get my own cake, spend it alone and sad). Like I said never had parties, never got to hang out with friends, is in the middle of summer vacation so no one wants to go anywhere, so I usually chill and never expect anything from anyone because it disappoints. I was avoiding waves of anguish about how pathetic I am etc as one does when they reach their mid twenties. I got no gifts, no memorabilia, no cards, my dad didn't call, my bf got me nothing until a month later, a girlfriend who fucked me over invited herself to my cake cutting and then proceeded to give me useless life advice I didn't want and the one shred of hope a card from my grandmother(the only thing that makes me smile and I collect every year) I never got. It was quite the disappointment. A few months later and I thought this would pass, I am terribly bitter about this. Does no one want to remember me or want to even make sure I'm okay? Does no one care that maybe I needed a pick me up just as badly as they did whenever I was there for them. I've been open about my struggles to my friends. They called and that's about it. We stay in contact me still being absolutely lovely and cordial and concerned but deep down I'm seething. And it's such a horrible emotion to feel. I hate being a brat but I just need some clarity that I'm not a f*cking failure at friendship.
I'm terribly sorry about this unnecessarily long post but i desperately needed to vent. I've now isolated myself so much. I've beaten myself up for so long and now the one thing i genuinely enjoy because it brought joy to people's faces, I detest so much that I never want to ever gift anyone anything again.

This sentence we can read during a weird dream sequence in the last FTF update is where my rapid yet fascinating immersion into Akkadian grammar, exploration of Mesopotamian literature and religion and subsequent efflorescence of far-fetched theories started. By extension, it also marks the beginning of our ride, retracing everything that was examined, uncovered and theorized thereafter. Credit's where credit's due, I would have never undertaken this journey without the invaluable input of u/WaystarKatten, who reminded me of this very phrase, which I... had completely forgotten about 😅. Thanks to a little pointer from u/WaystarKatten, I realized this sentence was in Akkadian, and tbh it already felt like a huge step forward. I admit my experience in translating other dead languages offered me the right, albet a bit old-fashioned, strategies to tackle such a feat. I profusely thank the almighty Internet for providing both a dictionary and a grammar book. In fact, Akkadian is an East Semitic fusional language, which means that it's almost certain that some of those words I was about to translate wouldn't have been found in a dictionary, because they are not in the base form, but either conjugated or declensed. However, the difficulty doesn't lie only in this: the sentence we see in FTF is nothing but a transliteration of cuneiform characters (yes, I am afraid ancient Mesopotamian people didn't know about the Phoenician/Latin alphabet).

Akkadian is the oldest written Semitic language we know of; it was spoken formerly in Mesopotamia (the land between Tigris and Euphrates) from the 3rd millennium BCE. In the next millennium, it evolved into northern and southern dialects, called respectively Assyrian and Babylonian. Texts were written on clay tablets in the cuneiform logographic-syllabic system that was adopted from Sumerian, the actual world's most ancient written language known to humankind, which influenced deeply Akkadian. In other words, there was no actual alphabet in Akkadian: just a list of cuneiform symbols, that, when placed in a sentence, either had a logographic role (of Sumerian origin, and for this reason also aptly called "sumerograms": each ideogram represents a word; see 𒀭, as in the Sumerian word "an" meaning "heaven, sky", and later started to represent the supreme god An himself and, by extension, a determinative for the word diĝir, "deity") or a phonetic one (indicating not a word, but a syllable. By a hideous semplification, we can say Akkadians sistematically added a phonetic value to the logographic characters. Back to our previous example, 𒀭 is either spelled as "an" syllable, to be combined with other phonograms to buid a word, or considered as a logogram and traslated as "ilum", Akkadian for "god").
When they engage in translating a cuneiform text, Akkadian linguistics and philologists must undergo through a work of transliteration (converting the ideograms in Latin script, the basis for the largest number of writing systems in the modern world) and normalization (differentiate the logograms from the phonograms and converting the former into Akkadian syllabic words; eg. traslating 𒀭not as "an" but as "ilum" where in the text it means "god" and has not a phonetic value), before trying their hand at the actual translation. A thankless job, really 🙈.
The fact that I only had the transliteration to work on, didn't make things easier, because it meant I had to abandon the idea finding the original source (consisting of, obviously, cuneiform text), for the time being, if it even existed. As expected, the dictionary was useful only up to a certain extent: in there, I found that "u" usually means "and, however, anyway", while "kii-ma" is Akkadian for "like(wise)". And... that was it 😅. Thankfully, I had my Akkadian grammar manual within reach, and let me tell you, it was both a thrilling reading and a salvific tool (for it brought me not only answers, but also a deep comprehension about them). It was easy to find out that "suatu" is a masculine, 3rd person, either accusative or genitive. I also noticed that "ibarra" was probably a verb, since the alliteration "ar" (or rather, "a-" followed by the reduplication of the second root consonant) is recognizable as the marker, placed between the first and second consonants of the verb root, of the durative form. "The durative is primarily imperfective in meaning and is used for ongoing and future actions". Moreover, the verbal nature of the word was confirmed by the "i" vowel in the first syllable. In fact, in Akkadian, the inflected verb is modified by the person, indicated by a prefix appended to the verbal root, and by gender and number through a suffix.
In "ibarra", "i" stands for the 3rd person, while the ending in "a" can point to a feminine plural. Identifying all these affixes, whose role is to adapt the word in order for it to be an appropriate logical element, is very useful, because it means to get closer to the "root", which is what we need to trace back to the meaning of it. The lexical meaning of the verb is conveyed by the typical Semitic triconsonantal root; from it, we can form the infinitive form (which in Akkadian is also an adjective, surprisingly) which is what we need to (try and) find a match in the dictionary. Besides, verbs belong to one of four main systems (G, D, Š, N. Yes, "main" means that there are other ones too, which are more rare, luckily) comparable to the derivative conjugations of Hebrew and Arabic: each one of these stems brings a further modification of the root (especially regarding prefixes and switches of vocals) which are usually built around pattern in order to highlight a different grammatical, sometimes lexical, function of the verb... what an headache 😬. For example, the N stem is used for the passive diathesis of the verbs. Thank goodness, in this case, my knowledge of the G system (the basic one) was more than enough: in "ibarra", the root "*br" led me to a fair share of possible meanings, with the verb "baru(m)" being the favoured result. A shame that this verb is a very common one and could be translated in a number of different ways 😅... but if we go by the general definition, it's a verbal form def related to the semantic world of "sight". Being a transitive verb with an active diathesys (G stem), it generally needs an accusative: "suatu" ("him") seems perfect for the job. However, to be sure about it, we have to translate "gimreti", which I originally thought it could have served as the subject of the whole sentence, and my suspicions were strenghtened when I found out that the suffix "-eti" marks a plural feminine form (matching the person and number of the verb "ibarra"). Following the "three consonants root" system once again, in the dictionary it was possible to find the word "gimru/gimirtu", an old Akkadian word meaning "totality, whole".
And here, my friends, right here, things started to get interesting (bear with me for a little longer, y'all, this pure grammatical exploration is reaching its conclusion... and we are going to move onto uncharted, amd much more vibrant, territories)... because this word came with a whole bunch of influential literary references, especially in the form "gimreti", starting with the expression "sarraut kissat kal gimreti", namely "kingship over the whole universe". It can be found in the Enūma Eliš, which explains why "gimru" is considered an old Akkadian word. The "Enūma Eliš" is a literary work that describes the Babylonian creation myth. Named after its opening words (literally, "when on high"... mmh, btw, the whole first sentence is "When the heavens above did not exist" don't think badly, there are no drugs involved), it was recovered in fragmentary conditions by English archaeologist Austen Henry Layard in 1849 in the ruined Library of Ashurbanipal at Nineveh. The "Enūma Eliš" has about a thousand lines and is recorded in Akkadian on seven clay tablets, each holding between 115 and 170 lines of Sumero-Akkadian cuneiform script. It tells the tale of the conflict between Tiamat and the later generation of Gods (sounds familiar?), ended with the coming and rise of Marduk, the Babylonian national godly hero, who slained Tiamat and created the world out of her corpse.

It was impossible to dismiss the sudden emerging of a fundamental text such as the "Enuma Elish", and here the collaboration of u/Express-Big646 became truly invaluable: through a shared research based on the somewhat imprecise transliteration in FTF, the suspected meaning of the words we already managed to put together (basically, and fortunately, all of them except for "inaan"... but I'll be back onto this topic), and a bit of cuneiform digging, we found our pot of gold. Yep, that's right: the sentence in FTF is a direct quote from the Enuma Elish itself, the tale of Tiamat and Marduk.

Unfortunately, this verse is but a part of a bigger sentence, describing Marduk's divine physical attributes, so our work was not done. On the other hand, it helped us narrow down the exact meaning of the words we had already found. However, in order to truly single out the meaning of the portion of text, we needed one last word, which was eluding us... the thrice-damned "inaan". I was not able to recognize the grammatical declension, nor we could reach a conclusion regarding the syllables, hence the root, of the word. Luckily, my trustworthy manual of Akkadian grammar rushed to my aid once again: while I was unsuccessfully exploring a section related to the suffix -an (which is added to a word when we want to emphasize the idea of a "group", but it was not the case), it finally downed on me. I had that word constantly before my eyes, but I didn't recognize it as the nominative (base) form because of how "inaan" was written.

In FTF, there was an uncorrect, or rather crude, trasliteration, where the double vowel "a" doesn't serve to indicate the presence of a different syllable, but the nature of "a" as a long vowel ("ā", so "inaan" should have been written as "īnān"). It may seem like a trivial little thing, but trust me, in Akkadian it makes an enormous difference. And just like that, everything became clear: "-ān" is a nominative dual (trust me, after years of studying Ancient Greek, on overlooking the importance of the dual person... sigh) suffix, and the root "in-" belongs to the most recognizable dual word in all the Akkadian lexicon, probably. "Inum" is a female word meaning "eye", even though the form resembles the structure of a masculine noun. The dual declension of the word is very common, probably for the sake of semplicity as well, since it has only two cases: īnān for the nominative, īnīn for the accusative/genitive. Unlike Ancient Greek, there isn't a dual form for verbs: which means that dual nouns are followed by plural verbs. In "īnān"'s case, a feminine, plural verb... just like "ibarra", after all.
The beauty (or curse, the choice is yours) of ancient languages is how swiftly a meaningless translation can turn into a logical sentence, an epiphany unlocked right by a wandering thought, a single discovery over a precise word, marking the solution of a linguistic mystery. In this case, "īnān" was the missing puzzle piece that caused everything else to fall into place. The usual Akkadian logical order (suject+ verb) is respected, with "īnān" being a nominative and subject for the verb "ibarra". It means that "gimreti" is another accusative just like "suatu": in fact, "barû" enables a double accusative construction when it means "make s.o. ("suatu", "him") see sth. ("gimreti", "the whole").
I know what you are thinking... "can we please move on to the actual traslation already?!?". Fine, I guess I built enough tension 🤭: so, the actual writing for that sentence is: "Ù inān kī-ma šuatu ibarra gimreti" which means: "And thus (his two) eyes are showing him the entire world"
v. 98. As you can see, it's only a part of a bigger sentence. After all, it literally starts with ù that means \"and\", in this case. Btw, pay attention to all these verses: they hide precious details and clues that will reappear in this post
I correlated "Ù" with "ki-ma", where the first means "and" while the second means "like(wise)" (it's referred to the "ears which grew large" in the previous verse). "Ibarra" is a durative, feminine plural from "barû", whose subject is "inān", dual feminine from "inum", that can be followed by two accusatives (someone and something) when it means "show, make s.o. see sth.", respectively "šuatu" (accusative for "him") and "gimreti" (from "gimru", "entirety". A tricky word, btw: while it means "whole", it also has a connotation of power, possesion. It's like a "whole" that you hold in your hand).
Here it is, then: not only we found the translation, but also the lyrical context it originates from. Now, the only question left is... why? Why Ursa decided to include this sentence in Nikkal's dream? What does that whole scene means? Is it just a general advice, or admonishment, to basically say in a more flowery language "keep your eyes open", or there's something more about it?
In the walkthrough, the title is different: it actually got changed in the second FTF update, when the traslation of the first two episodes got polished. This is an example of that.
It's only natural to start to suspect it may be more the latter than the former after noticing the title of the first episode in FTF:"He who has seen everything", yet another reference to this Enuma Elish sentence. Scratch that, it's another reference, even more direct this time around, to someone in the Enuma Elish: Marduk, the hero of the poem, the one who actually defeated Tiamat. And yet, where is he in FTF? How come, if you look hard enough, you can keep finding small references to him, sometimes hidden in plain sight (we'll talk about this in the future, I promise...), and yet, it seems that he doesn't even exist in FTF? Those hidden quotes, from a poem which describes his triumph over Tiamat and the forces of Chaos, keep popping up in a work of fiction where it's actually another bunch of deities who claim they were the ones to chain Tiamat. Yes, you heard that right: they claim to have been the ones to do it. The doubt that the "stories" abot the Five and Tiamat are not that truthful isn't my prerogative, but it's shared by several characters in FTF:

On the other hand, there also a bunch of other stories about the Five... way more unflattering ones than the boast of their victory over Tiamat.
Here Shimun is talking about Ereškigal and Nergal, two chtonic deities, rulers of the Underworld. Ereškigal usually had a more promiment role among the two, except in the Northern regions in Sumerian times, where Nergal held a senior status. \"The idea of Nergal and Ereshkigal as a couple likely developed out of a need to reconcile the two traditions\".
And usually, those involve some other deities who had a... "disagreement" with one of the Five, only for them to disappear. Off the grid, and from the stories altogether. Leahy says that the reason why Ereshkigal is not mentioned in any of the legends is that she offended Ishtar. Similarly, the "tale about Utu" had been "banned" by Shamash, because he found it allegedly insulting.

Talk about damnatio memoriae. What's truly interesting is that all this doesn't seem random at all. In both cases, the two deities involved in such "spats" are inherently linked to one another. In Utu/Shamash's case, it's quite obvious: they are the same deity, basically. Utu's the Sumerian Sun god, deity of justice, morality, truth. He was later worshipped by the East Semitic Akkadian-speaking Babylonians as Shamash. His cult, his role remained unchanged: only his name did change. However, in FTF they are two different divine entities: Utu seems to have mantained his solar attributes, while Shamash is the Fire Mage among the Five and he doesn't really strike me as a just and moral person, just saying. For Ishtar and Ereskigal, their connection is less appartent, but it's there... and it may offer an even more interesting insight. In fact, in the ancient Sumerian poem "Inanna's Descent to the Underworld", Ereshkigal is described as Inanna's older sister, where Inanna is, similarly to Utu/Shamash, the Sumerian counterpart of the Akkadian/Babylonian Ishtar. Although it is true that such association wasn't common in Mesopotamia, the report of Ishtar descending in the Underworld is at least true in FTF's universe, as confirmed by Nikkal. Much more interestingly, however, this is a myth in which she attempts to conquer the chthonic domain belonging to her older sister, but she is instead deemed guilty by the seven judges of the underworld (usually defined as "Annunakis" 👀) and struck dead. She will be later resurrected, but that's beside the point. What's the point? Well, the whole "appropriation of another deity's role" thing. In fact, Inanna/Ishtar is the Lady of Heaven: while goddess of love, beauty, fertility, war, justice, and political power, her nature is inherently celestial. She was even identified as the planet Venus. And yet, in FTF she is an earth mage, a dimension much closer to Ereshkigal's, aka the "Queen of the Great Earth".

Do you get what I'm trying to say? Working on the basis that the "legends" are possibly mendacious, and the Five aren't (weren't?) actually the last standing children on Tiamat, it could mean that the Five rose to power while "eliminating" the competion, or simply those who didn't agree with them (it's not like it's happening again, right? Right, Kingu?...👀). Banning them from both their court and the stories, and even, maybe, absorbing their roles and powers. So Shamash became the fiery Sun god after Utu disappeared, and Ishtar gained power over the Earth after her argument with Ereshkigal. Some little clues about it can be observed by the most curious eyes, hidden in Ishtar's sprite itself... but I won't spoil it. What if that's also what happened to Marduk?
You could say it's a gargantuanly far-fetched theory, and I agree with you. And yet, I'd like to point out another little detail: that this "process of acquisition" of another's deity sphere of influence is not unheard of in Mesopotamian mythology. We have an example in the Enuma Elish itself, actually. An action perpetrated, would you look at that, by another one of the Five: none other that Enki, the Great Mage. The poem starts with the nativity of deities from the primordial couple Tiamat and Apsu, representing, respectively, salty and fresh water. To make it brief, the new gods, especially An(u) and his children's generation, are way too loud and brazen. Apsu, channeling his inner boomer energy, decides that they deserve to be all wiped out, because he can't sleep with all that hustle and bustle. Tiamat is understandably not on board with the murder of all her children (shocking! not) and warns them. Ea/Enki is the one who comes up with a solution: he designs a spell to put Apsu to sleep (you could have just asked for a remedy against insomnia, Apsu... just saying) but while he is at it, he also binds him. Which, in other terms, means killing him (death for a Mesopotamian god is a weird concept). In doing so, however, he takes upon himself Apsu's influence over freshwater, and "in Apsu he laid his above" (Apsu's represents sweet waters, as I said, meaning he is not only a living being, but also a natural entity. A nicer mental image than picturing Enki making his home out of his grandfather's corpse anyway). This is obviously a meta-explanation from the Enuma Elish's author, describing where Enki's association with water comes from. On the other hand, in FTF, knowing that Enki's a water mage, the picture becomes much more sinister. It's also worth mentioning that in the Enuma Elish Enki's very similar to the one in FTF: a true magician among the gods, as wise and knowledgeable as crafty and shrewd. Benevolent yet mischievious... and kinda unconcerned with concepts such as "morality". He also has in both a very promiment role, and what he lacks as the actual cheif of the gods (overshadowed by Anu, Enlil and later Marduk) in the Enuma Elish, makes up for by solving various problematic situations, creating human beings and fathering Marduk himself.
Speaking of Marduk... I reiterate: what if something similar to this "binding" happened to him as well? Being weirdly absent in FTF, if we want to learn more about him and maybe find some other clues , we need to dig in the Enuma Elish a bit more. He is conceived by Enki and his wife in Apsu's corpse 💀their abode, and he grows up being what his father exaclty wanted him to be: a radiant god ready to oppose Tiamat, who, after learning of his husband's death, wasn't very happy about it... like, at all. Can't blame her, I mean: she tries to avoid the death of her children and said children kill their father? Her reaction, however, which basically consists of growing a whole chaos army out of her womb for the purpose of exterminating (they have a one track mind, all of them...) twice-said children... it's a bit much. The verse the skull utters to Nikkal is the physical description of the newborn, who grows to be a fearful and glorious warrior. And, lo and behold, we are rewarded with another clue! ...or just a coincidence? Right before that one verse in FTF, in the Enuma Elish Marduk is described as having "flames shoot(ing) forth as he moved his lips". Yes, just like that flaming skull. Now, I'm not trying to say that Marduk has been "bound" right after his victory over Tiamat, similarly to Apsu and possibly another bunch of other "dissenting" Mesopotamian deities, by the Five who saw him as a threat for their schemes of power and ruling, and now he is trying to speak to Nikki through her dreams, his skeletal appearence proof of his wilting and "chained" condition... uhh.... what was I saying? 😬👀
I don't want to sound like a conspiracy theorist, he could be still around and we were just unlucky not to hear him mentioned. He is the son of Enki, and he has a cartload of them, so... wait... now that I think about it, what about Niall...? Let's look into his name, maybe it can give us a hint: Niall, of Irish origin, means either champion or cloud (fits with his air powers), while Marduk's means...
Oh boy, that's a twist. The literal meaning is "Calf/Son of Utu" (cfr. Enuma Elish, tablet I, vv. 101-102: "Mari-utu, Mari-utu: the Son, the Sun god, the Sun-god of the Gods!" A word play undoubtedly, while modern scholars prefer the etymology of "calf" for the first ideogram of his name, as a totemic origin of the god himself). ...No? No strong reaction? Well, maybe that's because, apart from linking Marduk directly to one of the "forgotten Gods" in FTF, I failed to mention that this new info can sneakily link him to another main character (no, that's not Niall)... who, how? Well, I'd hate to spoil it for you 😉🤭
That's right, my friends, here lies the conclusion of this post. While parting with one another, I reassure you: this is not the end of it. This is my first time ever doing a review of anything yet I’ve wanted to make reviews. So just for fun I’ll start here with a mod I’ve been recommended called Doki Doki Salvation. This may or may not be lengthy but will be filled with spoilers so reader beware. Also I would really love some feedback on how to do reviews better as I want to do more like this for other things.
Expanding or redoing a story always has me intrigued as to what a team or person can do with their ideas and what they can bring new to a completed work. I feel like this is a main factor to a lot of mods being made here and why this community even exists in the first place. DDLC has a lot of potential for this idea to be expanded upon or rewrite for the characters to have better endings or explore new ideas for them. It’s also why I even play mods for myself to see the ideas from others and why Salvation is even here.
Salvation asks what can you do if you were able to go back to a world of hurt and bring, well, salvation to bring happiness. However, this idea is mostly there but is more so focused on one of the club members than all of them, I’ll touch on this later. Salvation starts with Monika, still being self-aware, losing her powers to directly manipulate the game and the main character saving Sayori before hanging herself (how original, I know lol). I thought having Monika not be able to change the files but still be meta- aware was interesting as it restricts her to use other methods of reaching the player and not have her affect the story as much but this idea was only utilized it different beats of the story, more so at the end. This didn’t bother me as much as I saw this as a way to let the main character fulfill his goal of salvation and the times Monika’s meddling were used were appropriate. I just wish it could’ve been more used but this relates to Monika so I’ll describe my feelings on this more later. With that, lemme get into my points of the mod.

1. Presentation- This was decisive for me as different art styles are used for the different CGs and sprites of certain characters, most of which were very cute and well drawn. Since the stock sprites are used, the difference in art styles didn’t really throw me off but I kinda wished it was more in akin to the original style to keep the feeling consistent. Initially, I thought they were immersion breaking until after the credits where the author points out they wanted to showcase the talent if the modding community. This nugget made me think differently about these scenes, that instead of thinking they should be more in line with DDLC’s original style, instead to view it differently as a tribute to the fandom and talent here. I think that spirit is what even drives mods in the first place; a passion of love for the original and wanting to expand on it more. The more I thought of it that way, the more it made me appreciate these scenes being their own respective look, rather than trying to mimic the original style perfectly. Deapite saying that the ending CG with Monika in the main character’s bedroom felt off to me somehow and the emotion it was trying to convey got lost because of that. If it was baked in the oven more, I feel like this scene would be more emotional in regards to where it is in the story. Also, the use of a real life image for the car crash scene was jarring and the only real immersion breaking scene, but for the context of the story and what’s revealed about it at the end do give that “wham” effect. It’s more of a shocked but confused feeling. Besides that, the other CGs and sprites were drawn really well, especially Sayori at the beginning (kinda dark saying that but still drawn really well). And the transition cutscene with the music box, aaaa it was so adorable and threw me off the one time it did. I kinda wish it again would’ve done that more but overly relying on that tactic would be repetitive. Overall, I’m impressed the amount of work done in here and in the end doesn’t detract the story besides a few spots.
   
2. Characters- Now the fun bit. Each of the charcters here are written really well and delve into their struggles they had. Since this is still technically Act 1, the characters don’t get their mind messed from Monika, as she doesn’t have any real powers anymore. This allows the story to focus on the salvation bit, yet it mostly focuses on Sayori throughout. That’s not to say Yuri, Natuski, and Monika dont get any time, they each have their own respective moments giving to them. Yet the mod makes it seems like it wants to be a Sayori focused mod and this has confused me. Am I playing a mod that brings happiness to all the Literature Club or mostly Sayori and the main character? It felt confusing as the story was attempting to switch back and forth between these moments and the pacing was all over. This is porbably more than a nitpick but it confused me again while playing through. Yet each character that gets focused on is written really well and fleshes them out, not relying on typical tropes. The main charcter fund out about Yuri’s cutting obsession yet isn’t beaten down for it. Natsuki reveals her abusive relationship with her father and even has bruises to show from it. The main character does his best to make Sayori happy it felt he was more than a self insert. Monika is still not over her obsession with the player and goes out of her way to deliberately the others be pissed off and goes as far as to almost kill them in a car accident. She is shown to be slowly declining in her own mental health after many attempts and certain story beats have the characters ignore her. Yet, even she realizes how more dynamic the others have become and they’re not just “cardboard cut outs” as she says. She is continually watching the player play and overtime starts to see how these characters are. Even in the end, when she reveals all the horrid actions she has done, we are given a choice to forgive her, and this option would not have been believable if it wasn’t for the actions and her motivation for what she did. Everyone got their respected ending and while Monika’s ending CG was a bit jarring as I mentioned, I was still crying for her. Everyone did still care for each other and the author wrote it really well. I still think the main character despite being wanting to protect Sayori more wasn’t as developed compared to the others. However, he does show genuine emotion and is, in my opinion, more improved on the base main character from the original game. Despite some pacing, the characters are all really well written with depth to their backstories and it shows.
   
3. Story/Writing- The writing of the characters stayed closely true to their personalities, another thing this mod does well. Some cute bonding moments where each of the literature club members allow them to shine and give more development to their problems and personalities. Of course, this mod had that in mind from the get-go, but the author really did well with keeping the characters like they were in the original game. Most of the emphasis was focused on Sayori however, and while I mentioned that I thought it would focus on all of the club members, the moments with Sayori were special. Seeing as she never had a chance in the original game to truly be with, it was special to see the main character and Sayori grow more into each other and hit off with the other club members. The scenes with her were really well done and over time the mod does focus on all of the cast. I just wanted to see more moments from each of the other members. How the story handles Monika though is interesting, but spoilers. Since Monika doesn’t have control over the game anymore, she still does her hardest to derail the protagonist to dislike everyone else and just her. Yet she’s mentally exhausted and slowly losing it and it shows. I really liked this take of Monika being super possesive and still willing to do evetything she can to get to the player. Through these actions, it allowed Monika to slowly realize how the other members had more to them than just typical visual novel tropes. However, while the ending did clench me, how it was handled with Monika suddenly showing up to the main character’s bedroom felt out of left field. I really wished this would’ve been more paced differently, however it still didn’t keep me much from enjoying the ending. The bonding times with the other club members and seeing them all support each other during their problems were really well done, for what was there.
   
4. Sound/Music- A new score was made for this mode while still using some of the base game’s music and they were reaaaally good, holy hell. I remember that one of the composers of this game also composed for another mod and their music in that one and here were all unique and didn’t get in the way of the mood. If I had to gripe, the “Okay, Everyone” track in the clubroom was kinda too loud on the main chorus, but everything else was really well composed. Also, the voice work for each of the girls’ poems were handled also really well, fitting for the character. Having Monika’s voice glitch out also was a nice touch in the story. The mic quality on one of the girls’ voices, I don’t remember which, sounded echoey, but it didn’t bother me as much as the performances were really good.
   

I didn’t expect this review to be so long, so I’ll close here. I really loved this mod despite pacing issues and the art. I’d say it’s a great starting mod to get into and a showcase of what this wonderful modding community has shown. Since this was the author’s sign off for the community, I hope they are doing well and if they ever read this that they’ve made a special story. This mod has reminded me that salvation can be found for others suffering, even for the ones who have done the worst, with the right support and care.

OK, so this is going to be a long one guys, but buckle up. It's going to have holes in it.But, let's delve into the first story ever told in the books, Kvothe's discovery of the cathedral room in The Underthing, along with bits and bobs centering around The Creation Wars - how stories get mixed & melded, the lingering after effects and what has kept the apocalypse at bay for so long until Kvothe is waiting to die in the middle of nowhere for his folly. Let's Dive In-When Kvothe visits the Underthing for the first time, his journey led by Auri shows doors that open to brick walls and other oddities the way Jax's folding house is described. The yanking change of the scene from when he goes into the Cathedral room, where it's filled with amazing things like a square metal block the size of a farmhouse so rusted flakes the size of dinner plates fall into his hands at the slightest touch goes back to the inn where it was almost timed for visitors.
In the second book, Kvothe writes the letter to Ambrose addressed Bellany-Barren - his sword from the Adem was described being used to slay a great beast (likely one of the Chandrian's attacks of controlling a Draccus or Jax himself - I'll describe later on) at the Battle of Bellany while he remembered its history by rout.
It's curious the Draccus only became addicted to Denner resin weeks before Denna arrived, possibly giving a cover story along with one of their traits being animals going mad in their presence. The Chandrian know their powers and in the two known instances tend to attack methodically (see Cinder with the bandits) in areas very remote, but close enough to spread word of them by their marks being lefts - rust, frost, blue flames being the most common.
Something that stuck out to me is Kvothe reading a booking of the Chandrian describing them as nice:

The Chandrian move from place to place
But they never leave a trace.
They hold their secrets very tight,
But they never scratch and they never bite.
They never fight and they never fuss.
In fact they are quite nice to us.
They come and they go in the blink of an eye,
Like a bright bolt of lightning out of the sky."

Now, there's scrollwork around the image that would show The Chandrian. I'm guessing they're Yllish knots written down that only let those who are friendly to the Chandrian see them as even images attract their attention or how else would they have found the vase at the Mothem farm given there were no words describing them.
I think it's possible the Chandrian are actually the thunder after the lightening. (just an off thought, but we see no violence directly from them, only them being around the time it happens) hell Cinder wasn't in the Artificiary when the bone tar container broke. It could just follow them. Notice how Cinder's camp was set up for defense. How Haliax put Cinder in line when he was taunting Kvothe. I think the poem is the truest description by far and the Sithe's grudge of their past misdeeds still continue.
Hell, look at how the human Amyr are described. Killing pregnant women without any action, burning towers or pure violence being their sigil. Blood flowing tattoos, having members like The Duke of Gibea likely being a member and killing thousands for medical advancement or "For The Greater Good" That's not a moto you hear the good guys saying in any story or real history. It's machiavellianism at its peak.
Hell, even Kote doesn't like the local priest, you'd think if he was still pro Amyr after all of this he'd have some indulgence given their connections. Personally I think it's all shades of grey revealed at the end with Denna mirroring Lyras fate or even The Creation Wars itselfs if we meet someone who would be a Selitos for the Trio, maybe Auri(?) with a resurrection of Denna from the Cthae rejected and the apocopalse just happening.
I want to discuss how if the Sithe originated from Skarpi's story as the "original Amyr" or the angels created in Skarpi's story might use - eternal creatures in a millenial run under shadows as Haliax protects them from The Sithe who I believe is another name for them.
and are hunting them, who is destroying and who is trying to keep the true story living. Cinder did say "Someone's parents have been singing entirely the wrong sort of songs" but they're still known world wide and the Adem tell their true names to every new member. Is it possible there's a war of what knowledge is being preserved and could be shaping them? - Anyways, I digress.
The bolts of lightning is interesting given the bandit camp, but let's go on the premise they are the bad ones, even though the only violence we see is never the Chandrian, but the Sithe is the lighting bolt hitting their tree wasn't him entirely.
I back up my theory that the Chandrian were corrupted kings or power namers/shapers who were on Jax/Iax's side during the creation war. The first story ever told in the books is about the evil wizard king Scyphus/Cyphus imprisoned Tarborlin in a dungeon with glowing blue candles. His sign is literally glowing blue flames I wonder is it's possible Tarborlin might actually be Haliax/Lanre and Myr Tyrnial where the war ended was actually Bellany or Drossen Tor as all are described as having the greatest losses of life at any point in history.
Now here's the twist: Lyra wasn't resurected, but possesed by Jax. Bast says that the flow of the Cthae can heal any mortal wound, but skin dancers can obviously transfer their conscious. What if this is a magic that Jax used when Kvothes sword slew the great beast at The Battle of Drossen Tor? and Jax slipped inside Lyra to have a closer reach of truly driving Lanre mad the way he corrupted each of the other Chandrian. I wonder if they were kings of the largest cities in the four corners who were the precursors of human/fae?
That Selitos was actually Yllish and having two battles, one where the University is the cloesest place to Yll as a large city, saw it literally fall under the sea - causing the untold, largest loss of lives, which seems to be in historical disagreement with Myr Tarinial - possibly two cities close to each other that were at the southernest end of the world, so they'd be last as the demon from the church ran for 7 days before being defeated.
So onto the battles
It makes sense with what seem like great Fae/shaper war machines buried under time the land was also literally buried under the sea before Jax was trapped. Yll was decimated before being buried as the future Adem refugees did not succumb to Jax's influence and he wrote wrath upon their land the way people say salt the land after killing the people. Thus fighting was so ingrained in their culture.-A random tin foil, you can skip over - "you can always tell a Ruh by their eyes" is said when Kvothe returned the stolen girls and only one people are diasporas with unique eyes who have a sword with written history of being at a creation war battle. I'm one to think the Adem and Adema were the same people that saw naming as so terrifying or so powerful as a defence they split and one traveled as far as they could go to the northern mountain and the others to be nomads.
It explain their swords longevity if it was made in Fae times + I believe the ever glowing lamp Kilvin is searching for was in the sword room as one of the lost Fae workings as Yll would be so close to the University Kilvin might have heard a tale of it passed down as he's literally living on top of the end of the Fae/Human war with all its lingering magics, some of which he keeps in his draw for Teluh's sake.-What I want to draw parallels on is that stories in this world often overlap:From Skarpi:

the battle of Drossen Tor, Lanre was able to conquer a great beast and the enemy was shut beyond the doors of stone.

So it could be a great beast was Jax, shaping himself to wreak the damage before Selitos ended the war after cursing Lanre. I'm of half a mind to write a post about Lyra being revived was actual Jax transferring his mind to her body, thus coming back to life - this is seen with the skin dancers. I believe the Cthae is Jax and if his mind is trapped in a tree, we have precedence for a conscious to be moved.
This also ties into the stories of how a flower from the Cthae can heal any mortal wound when it's just Jax skinchanging to a new host before being dragged back in. In fact I think his physical body and mind have been separated on opposite sides of the Fae real and anchored in the human with the doors of stone. Remember what almost killed Kvothe when he & Felurian went to the darkest place in the Fae for his shaed, but time and weather don't move similar to north and south. The Cthae seemed to be under a noon sun - the farthest point from the dark where Kvothe was almost killed shining a lighting among a huge area of giant trees.
Place that along with his sword slaying a great beast and we have a possible explanation of how so many died at the place called many names, the only place magic is taught, where the true Amyr were founded (who became the Sithe) and also near the heart of the Church's capital where their Amyr "playing dress up in their parent's clothes" as Felurian put it) and possibly the Lackless lands as if they were in Vint the family would be under King Roderick's control, something the Maer was absolutely firm again and also where Kvothe rarely was as a child since "stealing" away a high ranking noble's daughter would be good reason to high tail it out into a different part of the four corners, especially since before his troupe's slaughter Arliden wasn't familiar at all with the roads despite traveling all his life as a Ruh.

There's a lot, I know and mostly built from a hundred tinfoil theories over the years, but the main things that stick out are how three different places are named as the bloodiest battles of the creation war, but the University is the only place so far that fit - especially with Barrow Hill being an outpost of sorts being a literal days ride away from The University, Kvothe's Adem sword being used after a few different wielders during Drossen Tor (how did the Adem get all the way there and why?) and never a mention of the Underthing's Cathedral room being mentioned again.
For anyone reading so far, what do you think Tarbolin's role was? Was he possibly Selitos before being turned? Fighting the wizards turned by Jax like an old Trio of Denna, Kvothe and Bast (another tinfoil of history rhyming with Kvothe losing his name along an influence like Elodin or Ben misleading Kvothe, as Bast is involved long before Kvothe's story ends as he mentions seeing Denna and Kvothe talking to a crowd of Fae...) - the most ironic twist as Kvothe's identity has always been tied to his cloak as well as Haliax being perpetually shrouded in one, but helping him with locking away his name instead?
Sorry for the bad formatting, I rearranged a few things from a previous comment, added a few extra thoughts, edited some things to different places so it may not flow as smoothly, but I've been listening to the audiobooks to fall asleep for about 6 years given they're the size of cinder (hah) blocks and just keep adding little thoughts on each new piece of info - like realizing Davi took Denna's earrings as payment for her poet friends debt when she put them on Fela during the raid on Ambroses rooms to destroy the momet. She literally gave away a fortune for her friends with the lute case worth one made of silver because she cared about them without expecting anything in return. She could have retired. Which is a big FU to all the Denna haters, but I digress - I think I need to write one on why Denna is so loved by Kvothe and the soul mirror of him by her actions, not what's described about her in story at the time.

In Short: The university is where Jax and Selitos were defeated, The Sithe created as the first Amyr, where the Adem were turned to refugees as Yll was literally buried the way the University was - but, a tinfoil for another time) and that The Underthing Cathedral near the end of the first book was where the final battle took place - all things have a purpose and Pat wouldn't just cut off from such an important area of the world when we have chapters of forests, fae twilight homes, the archives, the Maer's court, but just a few sentences never mentioned again about great relics from a time long passed.

Gale, it feels like a strong gust. Sweeps everything. But you wouldn't say it hurts, right?
Mine does. It feels like it's burning, throwing venom into your stomach, your lungs, your heart. Impregnating every single one of them like red ants.
It suffocates you, blurs your conscience, my mind desperately searches an exit from the vortex she itself created.
Couldn't do it, so it threateningly grows even more, and thus seems forced to be face to face with the fiery fire of the wrath. Uncontrollable wrath which posseses you, even if for a slight instant, but enough to satisfiy its burning appetite, shouting in euphoria like an animal, losing every iota of reason.
In the sight of the ecstasy, suddently fades while it transforms in the blue bird of sadness, whose wings get sharper as it gets closer. Asking the why of absolutely everything and their presence itself, even shaming me.
The repentance shows up holding hands with the bitterness. Both so elegant accompanying me silently, they don't say a word, their presence feels lugubrious but comforting as I know they're still on the now shaking box of the being.
The shame and pride stare at me, scrutinizing every inch and corner of me. The first one cries inconsolably and the other simply keeps looking with a smile.
Desesperation. Desesperation wants to peek with its famous chant of whirlwind, but it is silenced by the logic which then mutates to calm. The calm is a breeze that puts me to sleep and wraps me up in the comforting humor.
The gale stops. A horrible disaster is left behind, but I can clean until it comes back again.
I close my torso and the venom spreads to my whole body until it eases the affliction of my chest.
In the air, I can rest.

As I said in the title. I made this "poem" just yesterday. I usually never write vent nor out of my own feelings, I always like to write stories for characters that aren't me. But that day I was having a hard day with myself, and since I was consuming DDLC content, i thought why not? I won't back down this time, let's see how it goes. And no, I wasn't thinking of writing like X character or anything, I didn't even think anything since I was overwhelmed with my feelings, so this is all me. I do not know my style yet as I'm a beginner.
This is a bit personal and I hesitated to share, but i'm eager to see your opinion or even the answer to the question in the title! I apologize for any grammar mistakes as i'm not native and I had to translate the text. Thanks for reading!

In dead silence the ghost make the doll eyes move creepily. They take them victim's tongue if they scream(hell who doesn't scream in a horror movie?). Both anabelle and dead silence are based on real story however dead silence even had its own poem on mary shaw. The plot is amazing and it is one of the horror movies that gave me nightmares as a kid. Or maybe it was because I watched as a kid that it made it so scary in memory. But NAH i watched it again as an adult and its STILL terrifying. Anabelle just moves around her head and not really making any movement or show any true personality of herself. Meanwhile Mary shaw who posseses the main doll billy (over 99 other fucking dolls she made), the bitch took a real life kid and turned him into a doll. Literally replacing his eyes with dolls eyes and put strings around his body like a puppet. Thres more in ths movie those are just a plot i really like.

Ability
「Each Leaf Dances With Other Leaves」:
「Beech」can turn parts of the user (or the user completely) into plantlife, specifically into the trees that are nearby in the area (10 meters). When Allan grows branches, the formation of leaves, flowers and fruit depends on the trees around him. For example, if it's winter and there are no evergreen trees around, leaves can't form on Allan if he turns part of himself into a tree. Damage transfers to Allan if he gets attacked while in tree form, but depending on how durable the tree is, alot or little of the damage recieved may be transferred. Allan can also control the direction and the trajectory of growth of the plantlife he transforms into. This allows him partial control of the plantlife formed on him, which allows him to do stuff like bind enemies to the ground using roots he tranaforned his legs into or trap enemies within branches he form on his body.
Allan can transform his body completely into a tree, but he loses all his senses. He can turn back into normal.
「Beech Gives Wind Speech」:
Using his stand, Allan can communicate with trees. He does this by sending chemicals (when turning his body parts into plant life) which urge the trees he sent them for to respond back with other chemicals, which can be translated via observing the effects these chemicals make. He can also use vibration in the air to talk to them. While he cannot control them, he can ask them questions about his enemies which the trees will answer.
Allan Oak
Allan Oak was a very adventurous kid when he was young. He had a friend named Tristan that was energetic too. They spent all of their childhood together. It seemed like this friendship would last forever, that was until Allan's friend developed cancer. Due to this, Allan and Tristan began seeing each other less and less. Eventually, Tristan died. This left Allan devastated. Allan decided to practice meditation to feel better. Slowly, Allan changed from an energetic and quickly bored person to a calm and collected man. He became able to ignore the distractions of life, and feel one with the world.

When I was with my Nex, I tried to get him thoughtful gifts, that I knew he'd enjoy. For our one year anniversary (or maybe it was one of his birthdays) I wrote out ~150 hand written notes. On each note was a memory we had together, or a love poem/quote, or a reason why I love him. Each one of those notes I put into its own envelope. For a just because I love you present, I got commissioned a drawing of his bulldog. There were other acts of this, too. I also got him a first edition book, which was signed by the author (the author has long passed away), and a custome pipe.
When I broke up with him, he threw out all the sentimental gifts, but kept the materalisitic ones. Did anyone else experience this? When reflecting upon this, it seems like a true narc move, they want to show the world they have some materalisitic possesions

Starting to run my own CoS campaign and following in the wonderful mood-setting of MH poems I'm trying to launch each of my own sessions with a similar composition
Here's my own effort as the party last week went through the above ground levels of Death House and ended session by discovering the bones and clothes of the very "children" who appeared and lured them in. We closed out with one of the players being unwittingly yet willingly once they realised possesed. (PCs have not encountered Strahd yet but I'm envisioning him watching the progress of his new 'guests' from afar. -Something they will hopefully realise when they emerge from the house and find a welcome basket with a note, some wine and a few dream pastries :) )
