I would like to take this opportunity to request Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth! at -30% off.
If there are 3 things the Yakuza/Like a Dragon developers know how to do:

• 1) It's how to make a compelling narrative.
• 2) Make an astonishing amount of mini-games and silly side-content.
• 3) Somehow manage to refine their combat system even further.

Of course, I did have a fantastic time with Yakuza 0 a few years back. I grew to love the Kamurocho district. It's a densely packed and pleasantly detailed location. So, Hawaii will be an entirely new experience.

• GIF: Absolute style, once again.

Having experience with Yakuza 0 and watching multiple playthroughs of Like a Dragon, you can easily tell there is a tremendous amount of heart and care put into these titles. It did take a little bit to adjust to Ichiban as the new protagonist going forward, but with the change in story direction, the new turn-based combat style and even the location, I found the Like a Dragon series to be heading in a very promising direction.
This time we're going to Hawaii! Expanding to a much larger map and having a plethora of new and old mini-games that we all love and adore. There's blackjack, card games, mahjong, uber eats delivery service (?), sujimon manager simulator, (Totally not Pokemon with real people, I swear.) dating adventures, photography, a whole island management game that is basically Animal Crossing. I haven't even scratched the surface, there is a tremendous amount of content and I don't think the human body can sustain that much sensory stimulation. That's a good thing. Like a Dragon is a marathon, not a sprint, and it is meant to be enjoyed.

• GIF: Who knew that delivery service could be so intense?

Ichiban is a delightful new protagonist and serves as a great foil to Kiryu. They have their common ground, but their personalities create room for interesting interactions with other characters. I'm very fond of Ichiban's sincerity and passion. He is the heart of the party, I love him!
I know Kiryu is the face of the Yakuza series, but passing the torch to Ichiban in Like a Dragon opened up so much more room to experiment with different character archetypes. Like a Dragon took a different approach to the beat-em-up combat in favor of a surprisingly good turn-based combat system that still feels visceral and interesting. It's also a visual treat since everything is so well-animated while also being hilarious and brutal, depending on your actions.

• GIF: It's great to see Kiryu and Ichiban working together. At karaoke, of course.

I very much appreciate having an older cast of characters for the main party. It's a nice break to have characters who have a solid grasp on their own identity while grappling with deep-seated flaws from their sheer life experience.
The entire Ichiban crew is odd and interesting. Saeko is a particular favorite of mine. (Don't mess with the bartender.)
The "job" system is great for combat and comedy, and I'm really curious about the direction of the plot. The Yakuza/Like a Dragon series always managed to balance the line between serious, interpersonal crime drama and the absurd shenanigans in the side quests. It's a great palette cleanser if you're in the mood for drama, heartfelt side stories, or silly antics.

I really hope they kept the "summoning" system in the sequel because it equates to you phoning up a friend to call them into battle. It seems like they did! Because I miss that crawfish, Nancy, she's great.
The characters in the party really make up the heart of the story. I can't think of a single character that I didn't like in Like a Dragon. So, I'm really curious to see any new additions and how everyone interacts with one another.

I mean, the established crew is delightful:

• Ichiban is NUMBER ONE! No, seriously, it's in his name. Our delusional protagonist with the biggest heart is the most versatile character. Sure, everyone in the party can have their jobs changed, but it feels fitting that Ichiban can fulfill any role as he discovers more about himself in his personal journey. Or, at least, that's my interpretation.
  
• Nanba is your cynical homeless best friend who can wield the power of pigeons. He's basically the healer or wizard of the party.
  
• Adachi is the voice of reason. Your connection to reality and the gruff dad of the team. He fulfills the role of the tank by getting way too hands-on with his riot gear.
  
• Saeko (MY FAVORITE!) is the no-nonsense, sane person who happens to be a heavy-drinker. (Around this group, can you blame her?) She gets annoyed easily, but she's probably the most "normal" individual here. She's the debuffer by being an excellent barmaid in combat, or she makes a great healer with the power of...cheer and motivation...through the Idol job?
  
• Joongi Han. Well, I can't say too much about him. But he's cool and the assassin of the party.
  
• Zhao is a mysterious one. Principled, but a schemer. I'd say he would be the fighter of the party.
  
• Eri! Our special secret party member. She's an office lady who uses office supplies like a ninja. No, seriously, she'll strangle you with a lanyard, use thumbtacks as floor spikes, or she can cloak herself by stomping on a bag of flour to create a smokescreen. It's ridiculous, she's great!
  

Like a Dragon had a great soundtrack and a fantastic performance from the cast, both motion capture and vocal work. I was certainly invested, and I'm definitely curious to see where Infinite Wealth goes!
In terms of content, it's enormous, which is a delight in a single-player game. So, you certainly won't be wasting your time if you want to get invested in that world.
I'm really curious to see where it goes from here. So much happened in the prior game to establish the origins of the new cast and introduce their own development over the course of the game. So, I'm very interested to see how they develop and grow from this point forward.
As you can tell, I'm very much in it for the narrative. As serious, thrilling and silly as it can be.
It really is the complete package.

They also were into child labor and abuse of women and children. The group moved to Arkansas in 1976. Susan passed away from cancer in 1982 which messed up Alamo's story that he was able to resurrect the dead. (Grossness ahead!) My Up, Down, and Left arrow keys suddenly stopped working. I noticed this when it suddenly was skipping entire video on Youtube for me, then when typing in the address bar, if I press Alt + Left arrow, it gave me a microsoft smile emoji (or frown, basically a face emoji). After restarting, the 3 arrow keys just stopped working altogether, with 1 exception: When I press Window + Arrow keys, all of them work just fine. This to me indicates that it isn't a hardware issue, it is just for some reasons my arrow keys refuses to register. Anyone knows the reason or fixes? Thank you very much in advance.

My character has been stuck getting +10 rads in power armor, and +4 outside of power armor. This only happens after I enter any power armor but can be resolved by fast traveling, but then starts again when I enter my power armor. This started after I went to the Glowing Sea for Virgil's quest.

Note for Charlotte: Hey Charlotte! Love your YouTube channel and congrats on the subreddit! I couldn’t find any flairs for general Karen related posts so I picked the one that I felt would be the closest to it. I also understand if you need to break this into 2 parts as it’s a long post.
TLDR: Karen daughter has previous experiences of being rude to us, management calls her out after her behavior escalates
For some background: I used to work for a Kroger affiliate in the state of Washington at our store’s pickup department. For those of you who don’t know, we shop for customers who place online orders and then run it out to their cars once they arrive. Once we get out to the car we process the payment and then load up the trunk. Something to keep in mind for this story is that customers have 2 options in regards to checking in for pickup. They can either call us and we check them in on our system or they can check in on our store’s app. If they use the app to check in, we have to run the order out in less than 3min. So if someone calls and checks in and someone checks in on the app at the same time, we’re going to prioritize the app check in because that’s the one we’re being timed on. We also have the ability to cancel orders if they don’t show up, decide to cancel, or if they speed off. Now onto the story:
We have a regular customer that’s a mother-daughter duo. The mother is a very nice person but unfortunately I can’t say the same for the daughter. Both of them drive the same car, a Volkswagen Golf. Now something to note about my job is that unless the customer tells us differently, we load the groceries in the trunk of the car and then send the customer on their way. Sometimes the customer will pop the trunk open and others we will pop the trunk open ourselves. Important information regarding this customer’s car is that you had to push the VW symbol in order to pop the trunk open. My first time loading up this car, I didn’t know how to open the trunk until the mother told me to push in the symbol. By the time the daughter, who will be referred to as CK, crazy Karen, from now on, I was well-versed on opening this car’s trunk.
My first time dealing with CK was a few years back. I was loading up her car and asked her how her day was. She said nothing but simply gave me a glare that said, “shut up” so I stopped talking and finished loading the car. She came in a few more times so I gave her the same treatment. Then, a coworker of mine had to deal with her, and asked her if she could move some of the stuff over so that he could have room to load the groceries. She told him to, “JUST DEAL WITH IT!” So he loaded the car and she left. Sometime later another coworker, who did NOT know how to open the trunk, dealt with her. He had trouble opening the trunk but eventually figured it out. Once he got the trunk open, she said, “Wow! I guess we learned something new today!” as he was putting away the groceries. After this another coworker, who was 19 yrs old at the time, dealt with CK and she didn’t know how to open the trunk either. She also eventually figured it out and in the meantime CK was asking her for her name and the number of our store location, basically threatening to call corporate on this coworker for not knowing how to open the trunk. The same coworker got her again a few days later and just decided to go straight to the back of the car and ring CK up and load the groceries up there. CK just sarcastically clapped at her and eventually left. This incident made me decide that it would be best to notify management so that we can have them come out and be a witness to her behavior. Eventually I dealt with her again, called management to come out, they did, and she asked one of the managers to turn the toilet paper, which her mom had ordered, a certain way. From this point forward they decided that the pickup employees wouldn’t be allowed to go out and deal with CK without one of them or the backup managers going out there to be a witness and now onto the main event:
I came into work one day and had 2 orders due at 8:00. One of them being a nice customer, who will be known as NC, and the other one being CK. CK called and checked in for pickup over the phone and NC checked in for pickup on the store app. Now something that I should mention is that before CK arrived I notified one of our backup managers that she was coming in for pickup so that I could have her on standby for this customer and also because she wanted to know how bad CK was as she had only dealt with the mother whenever she was in pickup. Another thing to note is that this manager also worked at Ross as a front end supervisor. I should also mention that I have phone numbers for 2 of the corporate employees as they are the heads of our pickup department.
After both customers check in, I decide to run out NC’s order first as she had checked in through the app. As I’m loading up her groceries, CK keeps saying, “I was here first! Hello! I was here first!” She also flipped off NC IN FRONT OF NC’S CHILD. I finish loading up NC’s car and then turn around to go get CK’s groceries and she screams at me to come back through the car window and I ignore her as I’m heading back into the store. Once I get inside I see that she has called the department and the backup manager is talking to her and trying to assure her that we will have her order out in a few seconds. She hangs up the phone, we go to take out the order, only to find that she SPED OFF. I go to the phone and call one of the pickup heads to notify them of what’s going on and to come up with a solution as well as cancel the order and the backup manager went ahead and told the store manager about the events that unfolded.
Later on that day I was on my lunch and she came back blasting her car horn so loud that the produce manager could hear it all the way in the back of his department. The backup manager goes out and tells her that the order was cancelled and she begins throwing a fit, flailing her arms in the air, and calls the manager to complain about her MOM’S order being cancelled. The manager then tells her that the reason why it was cancelled is because she was being rude to us and that if she continues to be rude then we will ask her mom to come in and get her groceries as well as the fact that she’ll need to place another pickup order. They tell me this once I return from my lunch and I call corporate again to keep them updated.
The happy ending to this is that CK did place another pickup order but our manager told us that he would pick and take it out if she decided to do that and we wrote up incident forms of the previous experiences so that corporate would have a file on her. The even happier ending is that she’s been nicer to us whenever she comes in.

Ive had my R1S Whip since Fall of last year and enjoying the hell out it and this community. Outside of a couple of epic trips and driving bikes all over the state of Michigan, I am having the most fun with the only kind of exhaust the truck has... data. Ive been doing this for about 4 months now, hitting the api at an interval, and pumping the reassmbled JSON to a cloud bucket and various other targets, projects, and public displays of nerdery:

I wanted to share what Im up to, but also wanted to ask if anybody has done any polling via Bluetooth at all from inside the vehicle to avoid the round tripper thorugh the API? Its not really too big a deal, but I am seeing certain lags of up to 15 minutes with my currently polling for data appropriation, but I have a second set of polling (Databricks, Crowdstrike, etc) that can get expensive if I cant tighten the window to detecting if the whip is in use or not... and I also dont want to piss off site reliability at Rivian or put holes in my data with 429 rate limits.
Anybody take BLE ( https://rivian-api.kaedenb.org/ble/ ) for a spin and capture externally with either an onboard pi or something ?
I got spoiled with the work by The Mace the-mace/rivian-python-api and kaedenbrinkman kaedenbrinkman/rivian-api making things pretty easy, and sort of had an aha moment when doing the NATS thinger that BLE could be the best and cheapest way to go for year long telemetry and capture of the Data Adventure at the tightest interval.

I recently discovered that two credit cards have been opened in my name, but I've never had a credit card before. One has been open since 2020 and the other one was opened recently; I only found out because on the wells Fargo app you get a fico score. I never thought to check it as it's remained stable, as I thought it should as I've never had a card, but recently it dropped. I was confused because if I've never had a card before why would it drop? So I checked the statements and that's when I found the two cards. Pls help I filed a dispute but the dispute asked for "additional proof" I really don't know what I would put as proof so I just submitted the dispute. I also tried calling the one that's been used,(first premier) but when I called I couldn't get anything done without a card number, which I don't have as I'm not in possession of the card. Nor could I get ahold of a person to talk to. Pls help I feel like my future is ruined!!!! I know I may be over reacting but I have anxiety so it really doesn't help....

This is a long story so I'll try to keep to the facts, but it's a lot.
I (37F) have a childhood friend I'll call Alex (35M) that I love like a brother. We would be in and out of contact for years at a time but it was always the same when we were together. Alex has always been troubled and has carried some heavy traumas which I didn't learn about until we were in our late teens - but I always made an effort to be there for him whenever he needed me.
Our most recent connection after years apart, Alex was suffering deeply, drinking the "spicy juice", and his mental health was spiralling. We spent a few weekends sharing how our lives had been over recent years and drinking together. I listened about his (not-so) recent heartbreak, and again about his childhood trauma (he had forgotten I already knew), offered what support I could and did all the things I knew were comforts to him.
One day Alex called me saying he had been evicted and asked if he could come to stay with me. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my child (7f) but I told him if he didn't mind sharing with me, then we could make it work until he was back on his feet. He lived with me for a few months, and I made arrangements with my friend Sarah, who was planning to move out of town on a trial basis, that when she moved Alex would take the apartment and act as a sitter of sorts. I felt it would give Sarah a chance to come back to town if things went wrong, while giving Alex a chance to get on his feet and testing out having his own space and independence again.
While Alex was staying with me, my child would spend weekends and some random week nights with family and friends so her contact with him was minimal. I love and trust Alex but I knew he wasn't himself and wanted to protect her from his mental state as much as possible. As someone who suffers from anxiety and depression myself I know how it can be when I'm not on medication and I didn't want my daughter to be exposed to anything that could result in traumas of her own. When Alex was working in the evening, she would be home and in bed before he arrived back and any limited contact they had was always fully supervised. This was the first sign for me that Alex needed more help than I could give him. The fact that I knew he needed to be kept from my daughter as much as possible is an obvious red flag.
Over those weeks with me there were triggers that made Alex worse. He kept encountering the person who broke his heart and he was a mixture of devastation and rage. He began going to their old home together and passing by, stalking his ex and trying to figure out how their life was even though they had been separated for almost 2 years by this time. He ended up speaking to his ex a few times, and would come home to me bragging about these encounters and how he'd come across, then he'd switch and start talking about how wonderful his ex was and their life together could have been, then go to rage about how he'd been betrayed and he would never forgive them and could never believe in love. This went on pretty much every day and he would indulge in dangerous behaviours including driving after vast quantities of "spicy juice"
When Alex moved into Sarah's apartment I was a little less in the loop, but only marginally. He would call me every day, come visit me almost every day, text me throughout the day. Sometimes it would just be about how he was getting on, how work was making him angry, or to show me things he was proud of like progress cleaning or his physical appearance. I praised every progress, telling Alex how well he did on his own and told him I was proud of him. I encouraged him to keep working hard and not let work his job difficulties outweigh the things he liked about it. When he called me or visited me in his worst moments I would comfort him and talk it through with him, holding him and letting him stay over often so he wasn't alone.
However, things deteriorated fast and he found out his ex had moved on. Over the next few weeks Alex broke into his old home with his ex, continued the stalking with plans to "scare" them out of town, and was barely sleeping. Eventually his dark thoughts turned to causing physical harm and even deleting people and he admitted he was struggling to tell the difference between being asleep or awake. I decided to discuss this with my mother and told her that it was at a stage where I didn't feel he was safe anymore. She told his parents and it was agreed that I should try to reach out and see if we could get him some mental help.
I admit I knew this would not go well as Alex behaved aggressively and spoke disgustingly when I had previously suggested any kind of therapy. I also admit that I was no longer mentally or physically capable of taking care of him and keep him from harming himself or others, and so I made a call to ask advice on who I should contact to get him help.
During this call the operator asked me for reasons that I thought he needed help, so I explained some of the behaviours he was displaying and things he'd say that had me concerned. At this point the operator told me they would be contacting the police as they have a duty of care and they felt that Alex was too much of a concern to leave unchecked. I asked if they had any ideas who I could call to get help for him and they told me it would most likely be handled by police, so I thanked them and ended the call. At this point I called him and told him he needed to get himself straight because the police were going to be looking for him. Of course, he was furious and soon cut me off. I warned his parents of the same thing, then had to attend to my daughter as she had finished school. I got a phone call soon after from police asking if Alex was with me and if I would give them his number but I panicked and hung up. I took my daughter to my mothers and turned my phone off - and there my own mental health finally crumbled.
Police caught up with Alex and he was arrested and his parents were contacted. They said they'd take responsibility for him and moved him out of town to live with them. Right after he moved he lost his license and his job, due to a DUI that took place a couple of weeks before all this happened.
In the months that have followed I have had strings of texts from Alex saying he can never trust me again as I reported him. He told me he is hurt that I would believe he was capable of hurting anyone and that he was now alone in the world. He said his mental health has not improved, that he still feels the same, and yet he hasn't acted on it. He told me that he would still, even now, protect my daughter and myself with his life if it came to it, but he could never forgive me for my betrayal.
I don't feel I did the wrong thing, as I could no longer be responsible for his mental health and holding him accountable for his bad choices. I was struggling myself and I was close to drowning in it. I have told him I won't apologise for what happened as I don't regret the choice I made. So am I the A-hole for reporting my childhood friend and letting it get passed on to the police?

I’ve been with my (f22) boyfriend (m24) for a year in a relationship but we have been on and off seeing each other for around 2 and a half. I worry he’s emotionally abusing me or at least being toxic. However, he says he is not, that it is just in-fact me putting my worries from my ex abusive partner onto him.
I am so confused on whether he is or not that It’s gotten to the point I’ve got a page on my notes app of things he’s said to me, and arguments that have occurred. I’ll give you some examples of what’s on there:

1. I accidentally made plans with him and another couple on top of plans I had already made so he said stuff like ““I’m speaking to you with a tone because you’ve yet again been careless”, “You’re making another brain dead decision”, “Because you do stupid careless shit all the time”.
   
2. We had spoke about moving in together for a while but I no longer want to because I’m worried about his behaviour so I said I would like to move in with my friend who is also looking for a house. He told me no that’s a bad idea, it’s hurtful towards him, and said we should move in together. Despite this, I still continued to look for houses with my friend and got a viewing. I told him and he got mad at me because he said I did it behind his back after he said no (which I kind of did) but I felt nervous to tell him.. after him swearing and raising his voice for so long (which he thinks is normal in a relationship) I went to walk out of the room and he grabbed the back of my top and yanked me back till I fell on him but then he held me in his arms like a hug, which I didn’t resist. He said he did this because I was trying to run away and not resolve the conversation, and it made me look guilty.
   
3. I wanted to go to see a sexual health nurse and got assigned a male one, he got mad and said that it’s not okay that another man would be looking and touching me down there and that I should ask for a female nurse which would put him at ease. I refused to alter my appointment and went ahead with the male nurse and then it was all fine and he said no more about it?
   
   1. He said it’s not appropriate to be meeting my high school male friends because they will have inappropriate thoughts about me, and because one of them used to have a crush on me when we were like 17? However, he now says I can meet them just not one on one.

These are just some examples but I worry these are controlling. However, he thinks this is what boundaries look like in a relationship. He genuinely believes he is not controlling because when he asks me “well what have I stopped you from doing?” I have no answer but it’s only because I refused to do what he wants me to. Even down to small things which I’ve noticed, like him positively reinforcing me and encouraging me to wear baggy clothes, I questioned him on this and he just said I suit them type of clothes better but in some weird way I think he just likes me covering myself up. When I say about him raising his voice at me he said it’s because I don’t listen to him, that it’s because I go quiet and shy (because I feel like no matter what I say it won’t help anything or I have no answer) so it’s infuriating, and that it’s normal in a relationship when someone is angry at their partner. He also won’t directly call me stupid or dumb but he has consistently said what I’m doing is stupid or dumb.
When we aren’t arguing and are on good terms he can be so empathetic, so loving, so affectionate, so gentle, so rational and understanding.. and what you could want in a partner. This all leads me to be so confused and whether I am just projecting my past trauma onto him or I actually am being emotionally abused? He just has an answer for everything and usually turns it back to what I’ve done wrong.. this leading me to always feeling bad and then apologising. He rarely apologises. I’m starting therapy next week in regards to all of this.
Please be nice, I just want to understand what’s going on here as it’s distressing.

hey everyone so i don’t know if this applys to this page but i was wondering if anyone could help , i went on snapchat to download my data and it has 5 bar categories with their username, display name, creation time stamp, and last modified time stamp… does anyone know what last modified time stamp means?

It's 73 degrees and sunny enough that it feels hotter. I open the door at 10:23 am to go run some errands and find an Aldi bag on the top step. We last placed an Instacart order 5 days ago.
The bag contains 4 packs of ground pork, 2 boxes of cream cheese, and 1 can of diced tomatoes. The driver apparently was too fast to trigger the security camera, so I have no idea how long the food has been sitting there in the sun. None of our neighbors have their doors open, and I only see 2 people outside: 1 woman gardening, and 1 man sweeping. Nobody walking down the block looking closely at doors or yelling into their cell phone demanding to know which house got their order. I know that if I call, assuming it's Instacart (I don't know if Aldi can be ordered through Shipt or UberEats), I'll get someone in India who has no way of knowing which driver's or customer's order this was. If I walk down the street knocking on every door, who knows how far I'll have to go before I find the right house? (Our house number is prominently displayed near our mailbox, so there's no telling what error they made that caused this house to get the order. Inverted numbers? Wrong street? Wrong zip code? There's a similarly named but far away street in the same city.)
It was such a waste, but there really didn't seem to be anything we could do. It wasn't safe for us or anyone else to eat the food anyway. My roommate took the can of tomatoes, and I threw the rest out. Tragic waste, even though the customer would have gotten their money back. Wonder what they were gonna make with those ingredients.
