Hi everyone. There’s this film I once saw as a kid and it haunts me to this day that I can’t find it (in my 20’s now). I need to find it so I can be at peace!!
Now, I saw the film on TV so no DVD cover (sorry), I also can’t remeber the name of the channel, but it wasn’t Disney Channel or Nickelodeon, but it was definitely a kids channel.
The only scene I remember goes like this:
A group of children/teenagers (maybe like three??) are watching from a window the inside of a witch’s lair. She has some sort of coal mine, or workshop and she uses children/teenagers as her slave workers. There’s a line of them and one by one they walk up to the witch. She has a magical box and when she opens it she steals the minds and free will of these kids, making them into her slaves. When she does this the children lose their color and turn grey.
I really hope someone here watched and remembers this film.

I've been wearing rose quartz recently and noticed I've been much calmer while having the crystal around my neck. I was reading about using it to attract and wonder if it were possible to make a specific person notice me.
This person definitely has feelings because he's depressed after I rejected him. We've been back and forth over the last couple years. The timing wasn't right the first time because I was just getting out of a toxic relationship. When we first met the connection was something I've never felt before, we were by each other's side nearly every single day but didn't get to formally date. I'm relatively fresh to Arch Linux but already comfortable with it, it's been rock solid, but I've made my fair share of dumb decisions.
Anyways, context:
Recently I discovered rEFInd and Booster (initramfs generation tool) and I switched over to them, doing away with Grub and mkinitcpio. It's been nothing but smooth ever since. I have two kernels installed: **zen** and **lts**. So, after reading the manuals and the wiki on rEFInd, I'm left a bit confused with regards to how to properly set up rEFInd to recognize both kernels. Of course, I had to make sure that microcode is loaded before the kernel, `booster-%v.img` is the format for matching booster initramfs and that Arch Linux kernel naming scheme is added to the `refind.conf` under `extra_kernel_version_strings`. However, rEFInd has been automatically booting with LTS kernel, without regards for my selection.
My questions is: Is it better to manually create boot stanzas in `refind.conf` for each kernel that I would like to boot since the kernel name won't change, or, is there another way to do this, by perhaps editing the `refind_linux.conf` which might be a bit simpler since I would have to copy paste a line that I already have set up to load microcode before the kernel image?

I think my boyfriends hates himself more then he loves me.
I just want to start by saying that I (20f) absolutely love this man (21m) and would do literally anything for him which is why I’m making this post so I sincerely ask that you do not judge too harshly and give me some advice on what to do or how to handle this situation.
FYI, this is a long one. So my boyfriend and I have been together for almost 3 years now and it’s been great. He is my first and only relationship I’ve ever been in and there was definitely a honey moon stage we were in during the beginning but he was always very sweet and loving. He cared about my day, liked talking to me and hearing me rant about things I like/dislike and was very gentle with me and I fell in love with him very fast because he was the first person i felt I could be 100% real and myself around. He’s a big 6”3 teddy bear who I knew going into it didn’t like himself very much because he had loose skin from weight loss, but I was determined to make sure he knew that he was loved and literally my dream man regardless of his scars or skin, which is the same way he treats my scars on my legs which are huge and looks like I was attacked by a tiger. There wasn’t really a big change till about 1 year in when he started having alot of insecurities due to PTSD from his last relationships and not only would that make him snappy but he kept making jokes about me cheating on him with everyone and anyone I had an interaction with. I couldn’t go anywhere without him needing to know who was there and if it was a guy- no matter who it was, he’d get very angry. I accepted that it was a trauma response and knew his insecurities were valid so I took it all in stride and would calmly make sure he knew that was not the case and would do anything to ease that fear but there were a few times it caused huge problems. One time it triggered my own mental health issues and I screamed at him and had a full blown meltdown down because I was doing everything he said and was honestly being the perfect gf but nothing I did eased his insecurity and he kept lashing out at me. Since then he realized the negative effect the jokes were having on me so he stopped making them and has genuinely learned to trust that I won’t cheat on him but ever since then, it’s like a damn broke and I’m at the reciprocator to all of his anger. He doesn’t hit me or call me names unwarranted but he gets very upset and very minor things on a daily basis. At 1 1/2 years into the relationship I learned that his self hatred goes much much deeper than I thought and while his praises and love has helped with my confidence, mine has not helped his at all. In fact, I think the fact that I’m a 5”3 very skinny female and he gained a little bit of healthy relationship weight, made him start hating himself more. He would bring up how it doesn’t make since we’re together and he’s “the ugly one” out of us and how I’m too good for him and I kept praising him and making sure he knew that me, the person who sitting right next to him in bed, loves him more then anything and thinks the world of him but it never helped.i recommended that he go to therapy but he refused saying he wouldn’t want to strangers and that it wouldn’t help even tho I’ve gone for most of my life but I know my experience doesn’t and shouldn’t sway his opinion. I’m no doctor but I have diagnosed borderline personally disorder and severe depression and anxiety and have had to be institutionalized 5 times and I’m positive he has anger issues (as is he) and might possibly have BPD, and most definitely has anxiety and depression but he seeks no help for them and knows that they negatively impact him and cause him to lash out at me daily which lowkey makes me hates myself but I try not to take anything personally because I deeply understand what he’s going through. Now at almost 3 years, I don’t even know anymore. Sometimes I’m convinced he hates me and others I fell like the most important person alive but out fighting is at an all time high. I’ve made the bad habit of ignoring my own mental health and doing everything and anything for him and now it’s like he forgot that I also have emotions over things and am a human being. He treats me much poorly than he would treat someone he actually hates. I don’t know if it’s because he gained more weight and that he hates himself for all these different reasons or what but having a simple conversation about his emotions and why he’s being snappy is the hardest thing to do for him. So many things go wrong and he handles so many situations wrong and has such negative reactions to almost everything I do that it’s hard for me to function. When I express that, it’s a coin flip on if it’ll start a problem or if he’ll just feel bad and hate himself more. These issues we’ve had and me coddling him in any way I can have caused me to have a couple situations where I bottle things up and explode but it’s been about a handful in 3 years and I can’t be upset or feel strongly about something without him already invalidating it thinking I’m having an episode or freaking out himself. We’ve had arguments everyday over dumb stuff but it’s always him thinking surface level and technically and me thinking about it all from a deeper perspective and him not understand the principle of the situation or why I’m upset ever and constantly bases his entire reaction on his perspective until I explain the same thing in multiple different ways, over and over again. I know this is horrible but I feel like I’ve had to teach him how to be in a healthy relationship and handle his own emotions and while I’m learning about how to be an adult, I’m simultaneously having to teach him how to be one because he’s not doing it himself. He has a job and pays for everything but he doesn’t save and hates himself for that so mostly I feel like I can’t speak because i don’t have a job right now and because he’s so supportive of me, I feel so unbelievably horrible for feeling how I do. Like today we got into a fight because we were talking and he was getting agitated and then while we were communicating he just shut the conversation down saying it’s over which has caused a lot of problems in the past and he knows that’s not how to end a conversation because it should matter that we’re adult and we should be able to get through and conversation without issues but by the end of it he was hating on himself for “still messing things up when he was just trying to end the conversations so problems WOULDNT happen” and it was basically him just choosing every wrong dialogue option and reaction possible. He constantly creates problems by not wanting to create problems while acting like there’s a problem and just not talking about it. And then he gets so mad, he insults my entire personality and everything I do by misunderstanding my valid anger and never taking it seriously in the moment until I get real mad and alot of the times when I get real mad, I’m just seen as crazy. But at the end of it there’s always communication that was needed but not received in the beginning and I just don’t know what to do to not have to go through all that to be understood. I’ve expressed that he treats me like a villainous stranger a lot and that I think he hates himself more than he loves me and he always thinks about leaving me for my own good after I ask if I need to just accept this pain from his mistreatment and lack of emotional availability when it’s my love language because I still chose him over anyone else but then when I explain that what I really need from him is consistency and to do some real self work, he agreed and I’m giving him time to do just that. Things are just difficult, I refuse to leave him so if anyone says I’m doing this to myself then you’re right and I’d choose to go through it everyday because I love him. And I believe that soulmates are 2 people who make a decision to love each other and live life together in harmony throughout all hardships. People who break up do it because one or both of them can’t commit to each other and don’t make the conscious decision to make them a real life partner and neither of us want that. I just need advice on how to help him or how to handle the situation. Any of the situations really because this will either be amazing or I will change myself to accept the reality that it will never be amazing but I’m too loyal to ever not want to try and make it work.

My girlfriend and her friends went out to a restaurant and a guy that I've known since childhood, I'll call him AA, who wasn’t even invited, came to the restaurant with them and was just hanging around they'd been telling him to go away he left then came back they told him leave but instead, (* at this point they've left the restaurant*) he was walking around with them but distancing and keep turning back as if he was tailing them nd was talking as if he was invited to the outing saying “it’s so fun being with you guys” “oh I love coming out with you”
he attempted talking to my girlfriend but she walked off. he tried talking to one of her friends, Ill call KK, she told him go away and gave him side eye but he wasn’t going. He gave up, but once they went back to the restaurant he was back in his spirit coming to them again. My girlfriend tried to get KK and another friend to get upstairs away from him he was trying to make the friend stay saying “hmmm I’ll buy you if…” stuff like that my girlfriend was getting really mad and KK saw and we finally went up he followed us up he followed us up then we told him just go but he stayed then finally left.
(bare in mind that I wasn't there with my girlfriend and her friends when this happened)
Few days later, I'm with my girlfriend and AA comes up to the two of us with 3 friends, I'll call the important one to this BB, to "confront her about lying on AA's name".and obviously my girlfriend is uncomfortable and decides to leave, so I'm on my own now. And BB tries going to find my girlfriend but I grab him and stop him from doing so. AA grabs me trying to take me off of BB but now I'm provoked,
(whenever I feel provoked/the intention of harming me from someone, i naturally go after them)
and I I'm holding both of them by myself (* also AA is taller, bigger and stronger than me*) and we go on like this a few minutes just grabbing / pushing/insulting each other until people pull us off each other. Now at this point I'm beyond angry bc AA has done this two times previously which I warned him to not do again and he said he wouldn't do it again & has said things which I don't think I can mention on here.

I was unemployed since 1.5 years now due to abrupt layoff from a SAAS company I was working on "X" Salary layoff wasn;t due to performance issue though, company has habit of laying off
I worked coupled of jobs for say 3 day and 1.5 months respectively in the unemployed tenure of 1.5 years I left then and there I did not liked toxic work culture and I back my decision till date as my mental peace is extremely important to me post abrupt layoff.
Was interviewed by Paypal last year 3 rounds just to be told that I am not from payments industry at end of 3rd round (wired)
Couple of weeks ago suddenly got call from Paypal recruiter for interviews - I raised about last ti e how it went
Again gave 3 more rounds of interview - this time selected but what they did was nothing less than rediculous

Chapter thirteen ~Kayara~
They had to ride through grass fields so tall and unruly that even their ponies, easily twelve hands high, were struggling. Only an hour or two more and they would be back in the Elven territories.
Anataya led. Flanked by her guard and her lady in waiting. The kid took up the rear and Kayara had to fight to not look behind her to make sure he was ok and still there. She could hear his pony trying to feast on the grass and the glorious wildflowers, and that would have to be enough. She knew it would only cause upset if she were to bruise his ego as such.
They had seen glorious sunsets and pitch black nights, steep grass-slick hills and uneven forests. The others seemed quite up to the task and readily familiar with camping. With killing their meal. With sleeping on the hard ground.
She had spent the night in a jail cell before, but there had been fresh straw and a blanket. She was indeed glad that it was a warmer season or she surely would have frozen to death thanks to the princesses scheme!
“What’s with that face?” Asked Tyren, a wolfish grin at the ready. She rode her gelding with the proficiency of a soldier. Hers was the only pony that could keep its head up when riding through the tall grasses. The rest of them had to keep their calm and keep a stern, short rein.
“I’m hungry.” Kayara said simply. “You didn’t want the hare that I caught for you!” The boy chirped up behind them. It had looked like a much meaner version of the pet she had kept as a child. Its eyes were so the same as the fluffy piebald bunny she had once adored. She thought back to the now vacant cage in her room. The hand painted river rock that had been made upon her death. Seventeen year old Kayara had horrid penmanship but hadn't been bad with a paintbrush.
She had buried the bunny in the family's pet cemetery just off the main garden, right below her window. The rock was painted with various pinks and purples and yellows. The colors of energy that floated over the bunny when she pet it. Like static on a blanket.
“We should be nearing the city by tomorrow afternoon. If that helps.” Tyren offered. Her eyes were so cold. As if no emotion flickered behind them, so at odds with the olive branch she voiced.
“Thank you Tyren.”
Houses and farms began popping up in clusters, like the fungus on the trees in the woods. They were built in the style of elven homes. Three stories high and dome shaped. Elven country homes were more like live-in garden centers. Massive living walls of braided living cedar formed the exterior and wildflowers grew out of the cracks. Some of the bigger homes had towers protruding, miniature tree castles amongst the most luscious gardens.
“For the last time, we are not going to steal from my people.” Ana said with a voice that threatened violence. No bullshit, no stealing, she wouldn't have it.
“Ana, they'd likely offer you their food if we rode closer to their homes. Close enough that they could see who you are.”
“I said no. If you don’t drop it I will have you whipped when we return.” Anataya said slowly, anger burning in each word spat. Then suddenly kicked her pony into a faster pace. Then faster again and again; grass and dirt from the road flying into Kayara and Tyrens faces and nearly spooking their own equestrians out of control.
They gave chase and found the princess heading towards the fields below a wealthy man's mini palace. You could tell he was an old wealth by the way they grew their fields in circles with trees and flowers that had specific old timey jobs in the garden.
Anataya ran into a corn and bean field. Sunflowers, growing in bunches, stood tall and bright against the cobalt blue skies. Onion flowers were blooming in the underbrush. Likely other crops could be found in the field but Ana was racing ahead into the center where the tangles of beans and such grew the thickest. Then she stopped.
She hopped off her pony and stood for a moment in the center of the now partially trampled field. Then she collapsed to her knees. Tyren rolled her eyes hard as she banked her pony to a stop near the now hysterical princess. Ana wept and screamed and dug at the dirt. Kayara jumped down from her pony in sync with Tyren, and the two of them tried to hoist the princess to her feet. To no avail, Anataya was too far gone into madness to register their words.
A Violet Corona of light began to bleed into sight before Kayaras eyes. It wrapped around the princesses crown as if it was such. Illuminating the man who appeared in the corn and vines, flashlights and shotgun at the ready. Dogs were being held back by another man. Both were Elves, old and wealthy looking. “The Princess- Braeden the Crowned Princess is in our garden!” “Yes Olh K see that.” The one with the gun, lowered the weapon and nodded at his partner to make the dogs stand down. A whistle and the barking ceased. A stray yap came from the tiny brown dog carried by the third man that came into view with another source of truly very bright light. He was clearly the one in charge. He wore a simple pair of baggy trousers and a tight fitting top. An army issued long sleeves meant to endure cold temperatures. Kayara recognized it because her fathers eldest son had been issued the same one.
His silver chain, a bear head pendant, violet eyes. This was a high ranking officer in Antayas dead brother's army. Fucking hells.
Ana stopped crying at the sight of the necklace. On the back of the head would be the officer's information, although it wasn’t really needed. That pendent was named in stories and songs. Kayara had once seen an opera about the living hero, the mantatur slayer and peace keeper of his own kind. The Great Grizzly of Craephen— and this man before them was one of his main commanders. Maybe an advisor!
“Geraeld!” Ana said as if she’d seen a ghost.
“Antay?” Getaeld seemed to be at a loss for words.
Kayara had no idea what to do or where to look as the princess rushed to embrace the man. He held her awkwardly as the dog in his one hand tried to wiggle free. “It has been so long!”
“Not long enough princess.”
“Geri, you know her?” The one holding four big dogs on fine leather leashes, he held them with a farmers grip but his hair and his robes spoke only of wealth.
The other man, the one with the gun now uncocked and limp in his arms; he said “what are you doing here?”
Maybe he was in charge. His unbuttoned trousers and puffed up boxers told Kayara he was the first to be up and alert that there was something going on in his backyard. The one with the little dog passed it to the shotgun guy and strode forward to assess the damage to his property. “You’ve terrorized my boyfriend's property and terrified our dogs. What do you have to say for this, your majesty?”
“I am so terribly sorry Geri… Geri, please forgive me Geri.” The princess dropped to her knees and widened her eyes at him, hands clasping together at her chin.
“You are a child, Majesty.” He glared but yanked her to her feet, hauling her away to his boyfriend’s house. “I shall take you home. Follow me.” The princess began stumbling and pushing him or tripping him up and so, with a heavy and exhausted sigh, he picked her up and threw her over his shoulder. Like a sack of potatoes! The princess proceeded to prop herself up on her elbows and smirk at the amassed crowd. She looked directly at Kayara and winked! Kayara could have sworn the woman's back arched up a notch…

The camera was angled to one top corner of the cafe where you could see the entire place and the counter where customers stopped.
Estimated year of release : probably the late 2000s? I'm not sure but definitely before 2015
Graphics / Art style :
It had a cute cartoon-y type artstyle and it was colourful from what I remember
The customers would stop at the counter and you could see the street outside where people would be walking up and down the side walk (the side walk is where the customers stood) and the road had cars on it I think and you could see the outside go from day to night as time progressed.
One of the restaurants was at the beach and there was another at the ship. In the ship one I remember there was a hanging board in the middle of the room with a fish on it.
I think the menu where u switched restaurant locations, like which one you wanted to go to, was in2d?
Notable characters : I'm pretty sure the game had a story where you inherited the restaurant line from your grandparents or aunt, so those are the only character I remember. You played a girl. The beginning of the game had a cutscene where you got a letter or call from the grandparent/aunt about how they want you take over the chain since they were moving away from the area.
Notable gameplay mechanics :
I remember there being a timer on the top left corner of the screen that showed you how much time you had till closing hours. It was just a ticking clock. I think there was a conveyor that bought buns and stuff to make burgers/sandwiches. There were coffee and (maybe) milkshake machines that you could upgrade and buy new flavors of.
You had to find the Ingredients from the cabinets and stuff and put them together on a plate to serve the customers before they left. The customers had a patience bar I think it was hearts. Sometimes customers would come in groups and sometimes solo.
You upgraded to new restaurants eventually.
Other details : I played this when I was very young and didn't pay attention to the names of what I played. I remember being addicted to this game but now I seriously can't find even a single picture of it anywhere.

Hello! I hope someone out there can offer some guidance on this. I've been doing so much research on my own but there's just so much information out there about this, it's been a bit overwhelming.
This is my third year on the JET program and I'll be returning home this August. In my first year of living here I took in a stray cat. She's fully domesticated now, vaccinated and everything. I'm planning to bring her back home to the US (flying into NYC) and was wondering if anyone here has experience they'd be kind enough to share about bringing a pet home from Japan (to any country but US would be very relevant obviously!) I'm trying so hard to make sure everything is good to go and we have all of our paperwork in order. My nightmare is her not being able to board the flight with me!

I’ve been living in a house that is very haunted for the better part of 53 years. I guess you can say that, I grew up here. And lived here my entire life.
And I’ve made a happy home for my wife and daughter here as well. At least we try to make this a happy home. We’ve experienced things that are so bizarre you’d almost think that we were crazy for even talking about them.
Nevermind the things I’ve heard and seen in this house while growing up.
While I would love to talk about everything that has happened here, I would like to tell you about how it all started for me when I was seven years old. It's actually the very first incident that I encountered while living here.
The house was built in 1875. It’s been remodeled throughout the years to keep up with modern times, but it still rests on the very foundation it was built on.
This house… as I’m writing this, I can hear footsteps creaking above me on the second floor. This is an all day thing. But we’ve learned to live with it. While growing up here, and being the only child, my parents already knew about the house being haunted. But they tried sheltering me from it. Meaning, if I heard something strange, my father or mother would say something to the likes of…
“Oh honey, those damn pipes again. We need to call the plumber.”
Or if there were footsteps creaking on the floor boards they would blame the flooring for being very old. I would hear scratching all throughout the walls and ceilings. All sorts of strange and bizarre sounds.
But this incident, this day, changed everything. And I remember this day, or rather night, as if it happened yesterday.
It was around 11:00 at night. It was a school night. And I was asleep. But something woke me up. I heard a voice whisper in my right right ear…
“We can’t let them get away.”
My eyes slowly opened up and I laid there for a moment. I called out for both my mother and father and looked over at my bedroom door but it was shut. I flipped over to my side and fell back asleep.
I heard this voice loud and clear. I know I did. But I think my brain was telling me to ignore it. Well, that was just the beginning of it. Because a few moments later it decided to really stir things up with me…

I jumped out of bed so rapidly and even peed myself as I ran to my parents bedroom. My parents both looked at each other and then looked at me like they knew something but didn’t want to tell me. They gave me the old mumbo jumbo and told me that I was having a bad dream. My mother got out of bed. Got me fresh pajamas and socks while I cleaned myself up.
Peeing yourself at seven years old isn’t fun. Especially when it’s a raspy old scary voice shouting that someone’s burning alive in your bedroom while you’re sleeping.
My mother asked if I wanted to sleep with her and my father in their bed after that. You bet your ass I did. I hopped in that bed quicker than a fox chasing a rabbit. I was a small boy for seven. And both of my parents were average sized too, so, I fit right in there.
Alright… Here is where it gets very, very scary. If this doesn’t scare the socks off of you I don’t know what will. And before I continue, the voice that I heard? We think it’s the original owner of the house. Without giving away too much information about my home, the very first owner of this home…
He was an evil man…
We’ve heard stories about him torturing animals, killing them, and then taxiderming them, scattering them all throughout the house like his own little museum of horror.
Throughout the years I would experience more voices, more scratching on the walls and ceilings. Eventually my parents wound up telling me that the house was haunted by a creepy man with an evil past. And we lived with it. We were never physically harmed by it. It was more of a nuisance than anything.
That all changed on the night I brought my wife home to begin a life here with me.
We’re high school sweethearts. So, she knows about this place. She stayed here overnight plenty of times before we got married. But on the night she moved in, it wasn’t happy at all.
I’ll never forget the hour and minute. It was 2:27 in the morning. We were both asleep. My wife woke up first because she felt something tugging on her arm. She then woke me up and told me what she felt. This was the first time in all the years anyone has ever been physically touched by this spirit. This had never happened before so it was quite a shock to me.
And after being awake for about a few minutes or so, our bedroom door slammed shut! Our blanket was pulled away from us and thrown across the room. And we heard heavy footsteps as if someone was walking across the roof!
It was as if the house was coming to life.
In all my years of living here, I have never seen this much activity. Yet alone in one single night.
After the blanket got pulled away from us and thrown across the room things finally seemed to calm down. And the entire house was ominously quiet.
Too quiet…
But then a dark black shadow decides to grace us with its presence by moving along the walls in the bedroom and fading into nothingness. My wife and I did not move from the bed during all of this. We were terror-stricken. And then a foul odor begins to come from underneath the bed followed by a sonorous growl that vibrated underneath us.
By this point it felt like something grave was about to happen and I had to do something. Or at least I had to try. I grabbed a hold of my wife’s hand and told her to be brave and to not fear this thing. Because that's what it wants. It wants to scare us out of our home and we can’t allow that to happen. But we mustard up the courage to face this evil spirit and began reciting the Lord’s Prayer.
The bedroom door slammed again and again, four times consecutively. With steady growls underneath the bed, but we stood our ground. Praying to the almighty to help and asking him to show this spirit to the light.
A raspy old voice then shouts from underneath the bed.
“Get out!… Leave my house!”
And I said…
“No! If you're stuck here like you’ve been all these years, then you’re going to have to learn to live with us. In peace or war. Because this is my house now. Not yours. You're dead! Leave already! Go! Go with God. And Go into the light.”
After 10 minutes of praying and arguing with this thing. It all just seemed to come to a pass. I wiped the tears of fear from my wife’s eyes and embraced her painful shivers.
I, too, was frozen over by the horror that leveled us during that night.
And nothing of that magnitude ever occurred again. And our home stood silent for a while. For a year to be exact. Which was very peaceful. The voices and scratching on the walls and ceilings, footsteps and disembodied voices eventually returned. But it doesn’t bother us at all. We pay it no mind.
Doesn’t bother my daughter. Not my wife nor I. We’ve just learned to live with it.
I know that must sound strange. But this is my home. Our home. And we intend to keep it that way.

had my last dept commencement today and i was the only person who didn’t walk out of a graduating class of maybe 30ish ppl at most? though i was a minor, i was told by the dept advisor back in february that i’d be able to walk across the stage at commencement. then when i stood up with my row to line up to walk, another dept person asked me to return to my seat and told me that i did not get to walk. instead they would only read my name while i stayed in the row. i had my whole family sit through a ~2 hour ceremony for them to not even see me walk and i was really upset that i didn’t get the chance to properly celebrate my achievement esp when i was literally the Only One who didn’t walk… debating emailing because it was really hurtful and i was trying not to cry after they had me sit down and i don’t want that to happen to others, but also i don’t want to make a fuss… should i email? also would appreciate any support/good vibes the people of reddit have to offer, being told i couldn’t walk for my last grad felt so shitty and awful and im still really upset :((

Timothy was told to rebuke those who sin in the presence of all so that the rest may fear (I Timothy 5:20), but many leaders in modern churches seek to comfort the wicked in their sin instead. Comfort should be given to those who are remorseful for their sins, not to those who need a swift rebuke before they perish in their sins.
But what are souls compared to dollars these days?

I truly hope that even those who take part in turning people away from the way of life will repent, and soon.

To think that God treated His first love in such a way over their wickedness, but will spare this lukewarm, money-hungry monstrosity for doing the same things is utterly insane.
But because you are stubborn and refuse to turn from your sin, you are storing up terrible punishment for yourself. For a day of anger is coming, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. He will judge everyone according to what they have done. He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers. But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness.

TDLR: a man asked for my number at work and I rejected him based off of the fact he said he was 25. He later found me on social media without finding out my name first and then came in during my shift again to ask for physical contact. I googled his name from when he found me on social media and I found out he is 32, has two felonies, and has been arrested at least 3 times.
I’ll try to make the recap short and simple.
I’m 20f.
I work at a small store and this guy came in last monday and asked for my number. I asked him how old he was (because he seemed older than me), and he said 25. I rejected him based off of this alone.
A few days later, he finds me on Instagram. My social media handles are not even close to my name (which he doesn’t know at this point) and I think this is odd, but not Too odd because we live in a small town. I reject his request to follow me and that’s that. He then finds me on tiktok and likes every single one of my posts, which shocks me. My name on tiktok is literally just an emoji.
Fast forward to yesterday, monday, he comes in at the same time. He figured out my schedule (I only work 2 days a week tho). He calls me by my name (we don’t have name tags, I didn’t tell him, I work alone in the store, etc.) and asks for a hug. I am freaked the fuck out already. I just kind of stood there in shock and he says “I just wanted to make you smile.” … eventually I ring him up without really saying anything and he leaves.
I googled his name from when he found me on my tiktok and it turns out he’s a two time felon that has been arrested At Least 3 times from what I could find. My stomach dropped when I saw his multiple mugshots. AND he’s 32 years old. HE KNOWS IM 20 BECAUSE ITS ONE OF THE FIRST THINGS I SAID TO HIM.
I told my boss and she told me that I will no longer be alone in the store for the time being, but I feel like more can be done. It’s really scary. What can I do?

I found Judeas page sometime last year and thought she was just sad and delusional.
