Account Hacked. 10k Lost

2024.05.14 19:34 WhatNoWhyNow Account Hacked. 10k Lost

On April 29th, following the transfer of a large sum of money to my checking account, I received a phone call appearing to be Wells Fargo — spoofing a WF Commercial number — regarding suspicious Apple Pay charges on my account. The caller had my complete bank account number and personal information, along with my WF user ID, which were read to me to confirm. The caller also read off a series of recent transactions, including the large transfer that listed that morning, and was clearly logged into my WF account.
I was instructed to check my Apple Pay/Wallet and to test sending myself 10,000 to verify that the hold was in place , which it appeared to be. I subsequently received a WF text confirming the increase of my daily send limit to 20,000. Suddenly, the 10,000 that was pending was sent and my Apple Account locked me out. The scammer deleted my Apple ID, ostensibly from the Atlanta, GA location that subsequently pinged in an Apple notification.
I called WF immediately to open an investigation for the 10k and the account compromise, along with a suspicious Amazon charge and a deposit I did not immediately recognize (the payor code was a series of numbers and letters).
After investigating, WF rejected my claim for the 10k and the Amazon charge, and ruled that the deposit was made in error. I subsequently learned the deposit was my federal tax return.
I am filing with local and federal authorities and have since opened an account with another bank, after 23 years and two hacks with WF. I am also out 3 Apple devices, which are essentially expensive bricks now that the Apple ID they were registered to is gone (per Apple).
I have filed a police report (they will contact the federal agencies) and contacted the Consumer Division at the OAG.
Please share this post, as this is a terrifying scam. The caller had ALL of my account information upfront and my best guess is the Apple Pay angle is a way to circumvent the charges being reversed.
I am apparently not alone.

2024.05.14 18:19 interquast I am dying here, please help me tell my boss how to simplify this process (we use Shopify)

I genuinely am not sure if this is the right sub but I'm at my wits end with this and I am seeking help.
I have a job where I do the ecommerce for a small chain of clothing boutiques in Florida. This is not a field I know a ton about and the job kind of happened to me on accident. The owner hires sales associates, then if they are "tech savvy" she will train them to do onlines.
The owner has 5 locations including a warehouse. At one of the locations, which is typically slower and doesn't see as much foot traffic, she has the "online girls." These are the employees that process all her online orders. There are 3 of us.
I am the only full-time "online girl." The other two work 1-2 days a week typically. Sometimes 3 if I am lucky.
Her online process is... really crazy and I've not been doing this job long enough to be able to figure out where I can even begin to fix it.
Basically, this is her process:
  1. Order comes in
  2. I have to log on remotely to a PC in the warehouse to manually search for each item in our inventory and I have to write down in the Shopify order notes which locations have the items, and where we are going to ship the order from. I then have to adjust these items out of inventory. Roughly 50% of the time someone is using that PC and I have to wait. Sometimes its easier for me to do this at 1am when everyone is asleep.
  3. If there are items on the order that cannot ship from the same place, we split the shipment and buy multiple labels.
  4. I email the stores where I am pulling items from with a list of the items I need for this order.
  5. The stores search their flooback room for the items, and then they respond back with the SKU, price, and weight.
  6. If they do not have all the items because inventory was incorrect (it nearly always is), I have to pull the item from a different store, repeat the process.
  7. If all items are accounted for then I send them the label.
  8. If there are items that are showing up as out of stock companywide, we have to make a list of these items and send them to our company group chat and tell all the stores to search their flooback room for these items. We have to send this same list to the owner and email all the stores with it.
  9. If the stores cant find these items still, we have to see if our boss can order it directly from the vendor, and then email the customers to let them know there will be delays.
  10. If it will take too long to order the item, we can email the customer with a list of "replacement options." We have to email the customer every day for 3 days until they answer. If they don't answer, we have to call them and ask them what they want as a replacement for their out of stock item. We aren't allowed to refund them unless they tell us they don't want a replacement or they don't answer their phone.
I could go further but I won't. This is a multi million dollar business and she's had it for 18 years.
Where do I even begin with this? Orders are almost always delayed. Customers are constantly getting the wrong things in their shipments. People are always complaining. I have to work crazy amounts of overtime to make any of this work. The "online girls" are all on the verge of quitting.
I have tried documents. My boss says she "doesn't do documents." She does most things through text message.
I have been here 6 months. It's not sustainable. I need to convince her there's a much easier way to do this but I don't know how.
Anybody have any immediate thoughts?

2024.05.14 18:12 Jpwolfe99 PyMuPdf doesn't recognize every fillable element in a PDF form

I am trying to use Python to read in a PDF form so that I can fill all the elements and then create a new filled in PDF. I found code from this repo and everything works correctly for the most part, but some elements aren't being recognized. Below is what the form looks like when I am editing the elements: https://i.sstatic.net/oTn5wiGA.png
However, when I run my code most but not all of the elements get filled in. In this example I am filling each box with "STRING". https://i.sstatic.net/AQn06u8J.png
In my code, when I list all of the element names ("other, route_to_1, route_to_2, etc) all the names are correct and have been checked over and over. When I debug my code and look at the variable that stores all the form elements, it's simply misreading some of the elements. I am not sure what is causing this. Whether Acrobat made the form incorrectly, or if there's a problem with the code. Any help is appreciated. Here's the code I have:

2024.05.14 17:40 fudgexo My manager has been bullying me and caused me extreme anxiety and stress and struggling to find a new job. Mentally, I can’t do it anymore shaking in tears. What else can I do to get out of this situation?

~My manager has been bullying me and caused me extreme anxiety and stress and struggling to find a new job. Mentally, I can’t do it anymore shaking in tears. What else can I do to get out of this situation?~

He is a very lazy manager, doesn’t care about his team, and likes giving people a hard time. You don’t hear from him unless you did something wrong. There is no hi and nothing but simply what you did wrong so no one wants to hear from him. Micromanaging might be the word to describe him but I think he uses mostly the fear tactic. Some trends were pointing out that he picks on mostly women by putting them in fear of their job security. Those women also fear to say anything to report it. He also keeps don't fire people who has really poor ethics because he likes them. He doesn't care about the people working under him or care about their anniversary dates or birthdays.
This was what happened to me:
A day before I left for my vacation, my manager told me I am doing poorly. I wasn’t completing things way “before” due dates, and even though I am working hard putting in the hours, the data is only showing that I slack off working only 30% of the time. Everyone knows there is something very inaccurate of how the data is calculated since during busy times, it only shows we are working 40% of the time. I was having low quality rate. I was told if I don’t improve, he would revoke a work privilege for me which the company offers as a benefit. I was pretty annoyed at that time because he told me all this right before I log off for my vacation. During my vacation, I tried but I couldn’t relax or fully enjoy it because I was worried about my job.
I started to complete things at least a week before it was due. I had a huge improvement with work quality where even others noticed. The manager had another one-on-one with me and not a word of appreciation or thank you, and knit-picking to tell me I was still doing mediocre. In fact, I had others sharing with me their monthly report and I was doing better than half the people. Even the team lead sent an e-mail saying I was doing a great job and just forgot to update a file (which everyone does). My manager was just picking on me that how can I forget to update a file.
Even though I work from home, I get super anxious just logging onto the work laptop after the weekend. It has been now really hard for me to focus at work because I’m just worried about making any error. I shake and I panic. I’m so done and mentally not worth it for me. My stomach has been getting upset constantly for the last 2 months. There were times where I took a day off and it was approved by the team lead. My manager sent me messages unaware I took the day off, asking me how come I was off on that day, and that he doesn’t get it, and why I missed this meeting. Or sometimes, the link won’t open up for the daily brief meeting (that last for 2 minutes), and I missed it, but I missed nothing from the meeting, he would call me out for missing it. I broke down and cried because the link won't open and I knew he would call me out. He himself misses the meeting multiple times a week and I noticed he had no other meetings.
I had applied for like 20+ jobs but no response and the job market has been pretty bad. I have a few friends who got layoff and a friend who can’t for almost a year.
What can I do at the mean time? I heard talking to HR doesn’t do it. I also have screenshots of his messages that was sent to me and e-mails where he threatened to take away my job privilege. Can going on disability and looking for a new job be an option?

2024.05.14 15:29 zeccast Why $HEGE is going to go ballistic. The Hege Theorem.

As we all know, there are many factors that can determine the rise and fall of a memecoin. Here, I'm going to explain to you all the Hege Theorem on why Hege can't fail, won't fail, and will eventually reach well over 100mil. It's written in the stars and if you're a community member you probably know already, but I'll split this post into different factors to show you why Hege is the most solid project all-around, and why you should consider buying it and holding it for a couple months at least.
This post aint AI stuff, so don't expect me to say that "our vibrant community fosters a crispy and original project revolutionizing the blockchain". No bullshit, just straight facts.
Hege Factor 1: Dev and Team. Hege Dev has shown again and again that he is trustworthy and dedicated to the project. He has been in the chat every day, communicating every new development and marketing move with the community with maximum transparency. And he obviously hasn't sold a penny. There's also rumors that he'll be quitting his graphic designer job when we reach 10mil MC and go full-on working on Hege. The team supporting our Dev is also composed by chads who recognize the long-term legitimate nature of the project and want to see it thrive. A lot of big holders are in the team too, so many top holders wallets are doxxed and support the chart. Our top holders and loyal whales often also do matching buys, help the chart boom during pumps, and give the community daily TAs on the state of the chart and what to expect from it. Our liquidity to MC ratio is excellent and extremely attractive for whales, memecoins with double our MC have less than our liquidity.
Hege Factor 2: Organic+Paid Marketing blending strategy.
Hege is an extremely promising, yet still very young memecoin. We are only 4 weeks old. For our first 2-3 weeks we relied almost exclusively on organic growth, which brought us from 1.5 to 8 millions just by the sheer power of our narrative and viral graphics. Now, we are taking a blended approach and spending our growing marketing funds to encourage the community. We have already had three big calls just this week. Two were from Chinese influencers, as the asian market access will get us a lot of new buyers and attention. Both influencers have 120k+ following on X, and we expect more whales and big buys in the next days as general market volume recovers. We also were called from the Whale Everything X account (140k+ followers), and a lot more marketing is on the way. We have a CEX listing wallet to gather more funds to be listed in CEXs and a separate marketing wallet where the community and top holders put quite a lot into regularly. It's actually amazing how much (and how many) people believe in this project. Most importantly, we have a newly launched online merch shop which just like everything Hege is extremely cool. Multiple Hege accessories and clothes, and all profits go directly into the marketing wallet. There's also plans to film a video of someone dancing in the club in full HEGE outfit (chad Dev offered 500€ out of his own pocket to whoever would do it)... And it's gonna be a banger.
Hege Factor 3: The community.
Hege's community is unlike any other for a couple of reasons. We are very active in the TG chat, have more groups for different nationalities, from spanish to chinese and Dutch. We have a special Hege After Dark chat for everything...freaky being discussed in the night time. Everyone has a ton of fun and makes new friends in the Hege Fam. The vibe is extremely wholesome and immaculate, so just come vibe with us. You won't regret it. Community and Dev/team also have a ton of trust in each other and believe in this project like no other. We have our own subreddit, X account, crazy cool website, TG community and Discord chat. $HEGE is a movement and it cannot be stopped.
Hege Factor 4: Insane graphic potential.
Something that is not discussed nearly enough about Hege is the crazy quality of our memes, graphics and content. Our Dev is a graphic designer and it shows. Hege has its own recognizable palette with bright, simple colours that are easily memorized and recognizable. New Hege memes come out on a weekly basis. We have just released the first Hege short, and quality is only going up from here. Our merch is therefore also extremely cool, and I think it looks insane even without considering the project behind it. Some of the accessories and clothes are something I'd consider buying if i saw them in an actual shop. And remember all the profits from it actually go into hege's marketing wallet!!
Hege Factor 5: Listings
We have been listed on CMC just last week, and we are now planning to get listed on CEXs to boost our presence and volume, and break through tens of millions of MC. We have some hung members of the team already contributing a lot of Sol to allow us to get listed. But we know we are getting there, sooner or later, cause Hege is a memecoin with a dream, and his dream is to smash. No way we're letting our boy remain a virgin. Which brings us to the key to understanding our project
The ultimate Hege Factor: The Hege Narrative™
All wars and great things on this earth were originally caused by someone wanting to smash. Think Troy. We will destroy civilizations for pus*y.
Well, we are here to make Hege smash his dream girl, Hegena. Hege is a redemption story at heart: he is a little fat, his parents became roadkill when he was just a baby, and he's now going through high school being bullied by the chad hedgehog Hendrix. Hendrix also stole Hegena for himself. The only way for Hege to finally get to smash Hegena is to become a successful memecoin. By making Hege rich, we're unlocking new viral chapters of his story. At 10mil MC, chapter 3 will be uncovered. Help us get Hege to smash and take his dream girl back from his bully!!!
Right now, you could be convinced about the solidity and strenghts of the project. You could be thinking...
"WHY SHOULD I BUY NOW THO?"
Well, the answer is simple: we are on a dip. After a low volume slow weekend (as most weekends are) we are currently hovering around the 3-4 mil area. Last time we had this kind of consolidation (actually lower, going to 2.5mil) , we pumped to 8.4 mil in just two days right after. These last couple days, a lot of volume and interest has been sucked into GME hypecoins, but that will soon be over. Once people realize their profits, they will put it back into the coins they trust and can sleep on, and Hege is the perfect example of that. Don't miss our next pump over 10 mil, it's getting closer: join the Hege Fam now and be a happy man in a couple of weeks.
Check out our socials, shops and website. You'll easily understand why this project's originality is so attractive, and you'll see what the hype is all about. We're just getting started.
WE'RE GETTING HEGE LAID.

2024.05.14 15:04 Important-Box-8316 My 4 year journey trading Qullamaggie's breakout setup

My 4 year journey trading Qullamaggie's breakout setup
Hello,

I thought I would share the journey I have taken in following Qullamaggie, and the various paths I have explored. The sole purpose is to offer some suggestions which I hope you find useful, and to highlight things which I have discovered along the way that really helped me out.
This is simply a selection of things I have discovered and advise which I would have benefited from when I first started out. I hope you find it helpful.

My background:
Background in finance, started my own trading firm which I sold and now I trade for myself. I wish I had discovered Qullamaggie sooner!

The Start:
My journey into this strategy started 4 years and as instructed by Qullamaggie, I did nothing but look at charts. I spent well over 1,000 hours studying charts and just focusing on the breakout chart pattern. This is the only thing people new to this strategy should be doing. Do not open any broker accounts or place a single trade until you have completed this task first.
Why?
1 – It is hard work, which is what it takes to be successful.
2 – It is boring at times. much like trading. There will be long periods in trading where there is nothing to do.
3 – Through this process you will learn if you are committed and will succeed, or not, without placing a single trade or risking any of your own money. Do not risk your own money until you have done this. It is hard to earn money in this world, look after it and look after yourself in the process.
Please note – the art of being successful is finding a strategy that fits your personality and lifestyle. Some will fail trading breakouts but succeed at day trading, some will fail at day trading but succeed with Fair Value Gaps (ICT), or algos, or scalping etc. You get the idea. There are hundreds of different trading styles to explore.
Success is a combination of finding what style strategy works best for the type of person you are. So do not be disheartened – keep exploring, but do so without risking any money whilst you learn.
I watched all of Qullamaggie’s live Twitch streams, they were great to experience. I have also watched all of his YouTube content too, learning as much as I could along the way.
I use OneNote because it was included in the MS Office bundle. I started with TradingView, and still use it to this day, and slowly started building up my own database. You learn so much from doing this, and because you make each discovery yourself, it stays with you and automatically becomes part of your trading thought process.
When trading, be it paper trading as part of your back test, or live trading, log as much information as you can.
-What % move up did the stock make before consolidating
-How long did it consolidate for
-What % move did the stock make once it broke out
-Did it continue moving up after the position was closed
-Were the EPS and Revenues of the company increasing or decreasing QoQ
-What is the Relative Strength of the stock – it is outperforming the index, the sector
-What is the stock market doing
-What are the different sectors doing
By seeing and capturing this data for each trade your understanding will explode, you will see how Market Awareness is key to taking the signals with the highest probability of success.

Universe of stocks:
The best place to start is the NASDAQ. In addition to what Qullamaggie said about high ADR stocks, the fact is that AI is the new driver for tech stocks. The combined market cap of Google, Amazon and Microsoft is larger than the GDP of Japan. That’s quite significant and won’t change anytime soon.
Only trading quality stocks will also help increase the probability of a successful outcome.
NASDAQ is going to provide some of the best opportunities for some time to come. Only diversify when you are well established. I still only trade NASDAQ. No signals = day off 😊 Less is More.

Scans:
Scans are critical. Your ability to understand the market and reflect this in your scans will create a natural edge and increase the probability of each trade.
The choices that are available are improving all the time. TC2000 is good, I used it for almost 2 years, but there are so many more choices to consider now.
See the Useful Resources section at the end of this post for a list of alternative solutions.
A lot of time is spent trying to find good setups. I have evolved the way I scan for setups. I decided last year to learn how to code in python. This allows me to refine and improve the scans to give the best possible setups. This was based on what I had learnt by capturing as much data as possible when back testing. I started by downloading a universe of several thousand stocks and filtered out those with low liquidity and low price. This is refreshed automatically each month. This leaves me with around 1,500 stocks to run my scans on.
Using python I download the data for free each day from Yahoo Finance. I just use EOD data to identify potential Breakout setups, then add them to TradingView and use real-time alerts to notify me when to consider taking a long position as and when the stocks move. I run 2 breakout scans and one combined scan for the 1, 3 and 6 month gainers.
I add high probability stocks to my watchlist in TradingView and set alerts, and then ‘stalk them’ as Qullamaggie says.
I have tried lots of different ideas. For example, scanning for stocks that met the criteria and were breaking out above an upper Bollinger Band level just to see if this made a difference. Always research different ideas and keep looking for ways to improve.

Python Dashboard:
I must admit, I got a little carried away with my adventures in python and used streamlit to build my own dashboard. Streamlit is a free library to allow you to create a web based dashboard without the need to learn html. I integrated all the scans as well into one place. Here’s what it looks like;

https://preview.redd.it/d9md2f8c1e0d1.png?width=602&format=png&auto=webp&s=6c2bfec06396ec62f30c5a8c7a631821a0032375
https://preview.redd.it/pmrtynsi1e0d1.png?width=602&format=png&auto=webp&s=d23a3cc6e0bc9e4cb99e277dae60af0c6403ac7e

https://preview.redd.it/rrdrc39k1e0d1.png?width=602&format=png&auto=webp&s=b451355d612fed38dc8f03ab500bb5832c56cd75
I was pulling in stock data, news, fundamental data including EPS, Sales and Revenue figures. I also tracked sector performance correlations to identify relative strengths.
However, after 2 months of creating this dashboard I realised that all the charting was better in TradingView, which already has EPS, Revenues and Dividend Dates. Now I just run my 3 scans which automatically create watch list files to upload each day. It was a fun exercise however, there are free or cheap solutions readily available that work just as well.

Market Awareness:
Very important, after scans. Part of what I run to understand the market / situation is simply compiled within Excel. Here is what it looks like;
https://preview.redd.it/xeeyc3ul1e0d1.png?width=561&format=png&auto=webp&s=4bf181cc73f45f1b6a4a3e81f16de5e0c7033410

https://preview.redd.it/qysx6m2n1e0d1.png?width=558&format=png&auto=webp&s=f3656e16ef5ccc8b173634a97d820d7796cefd51
When I get a signal I cross reference to see what is happening to the stocks sector and market, to see if this adds to the probability of it being a profitable trade.
Finviz also provides a free map of which stocks are showing relative strength and outperforming the market, see the Resource section at the end for the link.
https://preview.redd.it/jwis5n385e0d1.png?width=1232&format=png&auto=webp&s=d229f3dcc9956d6823351f5604e1a4f26b6601e6
Progress so far in 2024:
So how is this working out? Am I making money in the current environment (May 2024)?
Here is my Equity Curve since the start of the year, up 43%. There have been 93 trading days year to date.
https://preview.redd.it/i3ykd1pq1e0d1.png?width=392&format=png&auto=webp&s=29df3a4ec2e0fab1bf069da47878620619a81837
This Equity Curve represents over 1,000 hours of studying charts, of testing different ideas, new platforms etc. Always be searching for ways to increase the probability of a trade being profitable. Needless to say, my first year did not look like this! 😊
You absolutely can increase the probability of trades being profitable if you study and understand the market behaviour. Then you start to trade with confidence and without emotion.

3 Lessons I have Learnt:
1 – Study, constantly. Look at charts, make notes and log all this somewhere. I use OneNote and Excel to capture this every day.
2 – Focus on quality scans, searching for the best setups.
3 – Be inquisitive. Try lots of different ideas to improve your edge and increase the probability of profitable trades;
-Filter out illiquid stocks from your universe
-Don’t trade stocks < $5 as these can be prone to pumps
-What difference does increasing volume make?
-Do increasing EPS figures improve the outcome?
-What if I scan for stocks breaking out above an upper Bollinger Band instead?
-What different types of news has the best positive influence on a stock price?

When you have spent time asking and then answering these types of questions, and have studied as much as is required, you will know that you are ready to start to risk your hard earned money. And you will have a positive expectancy of a profitable outcome.

I hope this of use to people.

Useful Resources:
Here are things I have found which I hope you find useful. These are all useful tools to help you as you study, but will not negate the need to study.

TC2000, of course
Finviz is a great place to start if you aren’t using TC2000
TradingView has some basic core features you can use for scans
Deepvue.com is a better option and includes built in Qullamaggie scans
Python – Jupyter Notebook or Spyder, video on how to get started. Lots of content on "python finance" on YouTube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClTWPoDHY_s
Finviz sector map:
https://finviz.com/bubbles.ashx?x=sector&y=sma200&size=marketCap&color=sector&idx=any&cap=smallover&sh_avgvol=o100
Listen to others who just post quality setups, not guff about their life, or offer courses. There are plenty of people out there who are very quietly providing great content, for free, to encourage others. Here are just a few:

2024.05.14 14:56 UltimateTraders 5/14/2024 Daily Plays Let the Casinos Open! MEME Mania! GME AMC BB SPWR KOSS Adam Aaron sold 72.5 million shares of AMC at an avg of 3.45 yesterday for 250 million, Does he have FOMO? No Rhyme or Reason straight dice roll, have a risk profile! I will gamble 2-3,000! AMC 13 High GME 80 Premarket

Good morning everyone. Absolutely insane! Post pandemic I have seen everything. Many of you do not remember, there was a little Chinese company $HKD around August/September 2022 that ran from 12 to 2,555 in less than 5 days! This company was not short. At it’s peak the market cap was well over 500 billion! It is now 690 million. Look it up! This company was a new IPO with just 1 million shares available for trade. This was not shorted at all. The idea that a company must be short is not correct!
The stock market is a live auction based on supply and demand… Yes, it is correct that if a company is short high. [A figure over 20% is fairly high] it becomes easier for the stock to increase.. the buyers can force the stock to go higher, and brokers will cover, force buy the shorts to close out positions but it is not necessary..
AMC had near 500 million volume and GME 200 yesterday….
AMC had 263 million shares available… AMC took advantage of the volume and printed 72.5 million brand new shares at an average of 3.45 yesterday for 250 million.
Does AA have #FOMO ?
This morning’s peak was 13 for AMC and 80 for GME … AMC does need the money for business, it does suck that they didn’t have more offerings available and had they known, this 250 million would be over 1 billion today!
The point? NO ONE KNOWS!
No one knew last week, no one knew over the weekend! Yes, Roaring kitty, or someone that used their account may have tweeted but no one knows what traders will do with that, or what the highest high or lowest low will be…
I have shared with many of you that the CEO of Reddit RDDT is actually the main Mod at WSB. There is definitely a ton of stock manipulation but I would argue and say that is what 99% of new traders want! They want quick and fast money, don’t care if its fixed, scam, real…
So open the casinos! Most options must be traded during market hours..
I do not blame anyone for playing the volatility.
Yesterday, I did bid 500 dollars on 2 different GME puts for July. I guess I was lucky that neither filled. A 25 and 27 strike… Based on premarket I may be able to 60-70 LOL! If I lose it is a risk I am willing to take.

I would like to buy 3 different AMC and 3 different GME puts. Maybe different strike prices or expiration dates and at most 500 each. The most I can lose is the money in the option. No YOLO! No one can predict the prices, just that it will be hot money…
If you go on the fundamentals :
AMC 330 million shares = 700 to 800 million value means near $2 to 2.50 fair value
GME 305 million shares = 700 to 800 million value means near 2.50
It is obvious that the companys’ themselves can not make enough money to justify the 4 and 10+ billion market caps they will have at open.

I sold PERI at 12.55 from 12.10. I will keep making this trade. They will be doing a 75 million buyback soon. The CFO expects it to start soon and close by June 30th. The only speculation here is when it starts and if they will have a daily limit… Will they buy in several days? Or buy 5 million a day? 10 million a day? That no one knows… I took a bet a few weeks ago on DNUT because of MCD news.. The earnings were good. I have 1,000 at 13.55, I may buy 1,000 more as it goes near 12…. I am positive when MCD roll out completes there will be a 25% increase in sales… not earnings, but sales….. earnings, I do not know… I have WBA at 19 and 19.25… I am glad they are selling off Boot stores in the UK. They must unlock some value here. I did bid 22.50 on more ACMR.. I did try YOU … I almost sold SOFI at 7.35 [In 1,000 at 7.10] I did make a bid for PYPL . COIN had amazing earnings I am watching… OSCR as well…
Looking for a deal on MTCH again, last sale at 29.. So there are lots of things to do besides memes.. Just be careful out there. It is a roll of the dice!

5 Trade Ideas:

AMC / GME – Open the casinos! I don’t blame anyone long or short, I am willing to make several 500 bets on different strikes and dates.. They will all have time. [Yesterday I tried July GME puts with a 25 and 27 strike, no fills]

PERI – I have 500 still at 22, They will be at the auctions soon and I want to be in first! Last trade 12.10 to 12.55 on 500… I will keep trading more blocks of 500

SOFI – I would like to make 25 cents on my 1,000 at 7.10 and keep trading a block of 1,000

ACMR MTCH OSCR – Some stocks I have been watching with good earnings or value

DKNG COIN – Both great earnings but speculative at valuations, I would risk money in Call options, not shares

The contents of this post are for information and entertainment purposes only and does not constitute financial, accounting, or legal advice. ... By choosing to make a trade you are responsible for your own actions. Please do some due diligence. These are trades I am making and you can follow along. If you make a winning trade, I do not even expect a bravo or thanks but that’s fine, if you lose on a trade the same difference.. I do not even expect an upvote or reward… The Elite team is aware of the risks and volatility in the market.

Good luck everyone let’s make money. Share trades, ideas here during trading hours. Our main goal here is to make money so I hope we can help eachother. I will be in and out of here as well.

2024.05.14 14:42 BKiddo_88 Severely underweight puppy

Severely underweight puppy
We just purchased an 8-week Rotweiler puppy 3 days ago (Saturday). From the time he came home, he wasn’t eating well and was having diarrhea. I figured this was normal b/c he wasn’t eating the same brand of food and was in a different environment. The next day he was eating even less. We mixed can food with dry food, with minimal improvement in his appetite. His stools became even more watery and frequent. He also wanted to sleep most of the day and had very little interest in playing. On Sunday evening he vomited 3 times.
We took him to the vet on Monday and they immediately tested him for Parvo which was negative. To our horror, he weighed in at just under 4 pounds. The vet said he was severely underweight and deconditioned and it’s possible that he’s not even 8 weeks. On Saturday, all the puppies were of similar size, he didn’t stand out as tiny in comparison. The vet was very surprised that his fecal parasite test came back negative, so he put him on 2 different daily de-wormers, fiber, & probiotic. They also gave him a shot of anti-nausea medicine and fluid under his skin in the office. He was so lethargic, he slept the entire 2 hours we were at the vet (other than during the exams/procedures).
I called the breeder to let him know about all that had happened and he basically said all of his symptoms were normal new puppy issues. He said that all the other puppies rehomed on Saturday were doing well. He said he had never heard of a false negative fecal test and that the vet just wanted to charge us for meds.
I’m just very disappointed. We researched breeders for several months and this guy has bred Rottweilers (exclusively) for over 20 years and has excellent reviews. It is difficult enough taking care of a new puppy, even harder when you feel like you purchased a sick dog. I know my puppy must feel terrible. I sleep on the couch next to his crate. We have no desire to share our bed with a dog. I’ve had a total of 9 hours of sleep over the past 3 nights because I take him out about 4-5 times per night when he whines/cries. I can’t ignore him b/c he often has explosive diarrhea. But sometimes, once outside, he just lays down and tries to sleep in the grass.
I just needed to vent, but would love to hear from others who have had success with underweight pups.

2024.05.14 14:24 finxexz Trying to transition to modern selling

Hey everyone,
I'm Harry, a 55-year-old real estate agent, and I'm here to share my journey with you all. Some might think it's time for me to retire, but I love what I do. I've been in the real estate game since my 20s, back when things were a lot different.
I remember the old days of "traditional" selling. I would spend hours in parking lots handing out flyers and scouring call books for phone numbers to call one by one. It was tough back then, let me tell you.
But as the times changed, so did the way we do business. I had a bit of a breakdown during all the transitions. It was hard for me because I thought I knew how to sell, but suddenly I felt lost. However, my family was my motivation—I had to provide for them.
So, I ventured into digital marketing, posting on Facebook, doing boosts, and reaching out to potential clients on LinkedIn. But after a while, my sales hit a plateau. I didn't know how to grow my client list anymore.
That's when my son introduced me to email marketing. He gave me a free trial with the current tools he's using just to test it out. I was hesitant at first, but I knew I had to keep up with the times. And you know what? It worked! The only problem is I can't afford the ones he's using on a monthly basis.
And so now, with a tight budget, I am looking for the best affordable emailing tools. My son recommended: WarpLeads for leads (since they offer unlimited leads at a fixed price), Millionverifier for verification, MailDoso for email infrastructure, and Instantly for templates and sending emails. Do you have any other suggestions or recommendations for other low-cost tools that might be useful to me?
If you might also have tips for a boomer like me who tries his way through technology, I'm all ears! Let's inspire each other to keep pushing forward, no matter our age. Thank you in advance!

2024.05.14 13:23 digital_wiz How We Scaled a Hair Extension Brand using Facebook Ads and SEO to give $80,000 ROI in 6 Months (Detailed Breakdown)

Hello Redditors,
This is an incredible success story of how we helped a client achieve incredible results in just four months, generating an $80,000 return on investment (ROI) with a combination of SEO and Facebook Ads. We have completed many successful projects and there's a certain satisfaction in seeing our strategies translate to such tangible growth. I have tried to keep this post extremely detailed so that it can be beneficial for experienced marketers and newcomers alike.
The Client: Hair Extension E-commerce Brand
Revenue Split Between SEO and Fb ads: 3:2
Average Order Value: $350
Total Revenue(6 months): $140,000
Expenses(6 months): Product Cost + Delivery cost + Team + Agency Fees + Ads Cost+ Website Optimization + Packaging: $60000
Basic Company Background:
The brand was being run by a Mother-Daughter duo for the past 3 months. They had a shopify website with average structure and were struggling with facebook ads themselves. Although they made few physical sales due to friends and relatives but were unable to utilize the digital potential of their business as such. After trying facebook ads for some time they wanted a reliable digital marketing team to work with and they were recommended to us by one of our other customers who has a service based business. Initially we connected majorly for facebook ads but after the initial discussion when were doing research from our side, we found that there is huge potential in SEO for this niche so we suggested that we should prepare a proper website on wordpress and focus on both SEO and Ads parallelly as, although Ads will give an initial boost to the business but SEO will bring some stability and help in building a sustainable business.
Facebook Ads Campaign Structure:
Ads Creatives and Brand Positioning:
It's important to note that after deep research we could find that a major share our hair extensions customers are females aged between 21-45 so we did not actively position our brand as solving problems of low hair volume, but instead we focused on how the products ads style, gives a much better look and you can try new hairstyles and hair colors daily. Also since almost all the demographics in this age group are working, we tested a professional look angle as well which gave us decent results. In ad creatives as well as on the website we made the daughter as the face of the product as we want to slowly grow her instagram as well which can add another organic and sustainable stream of revenue. She shoots before and after transition videos, general product application videos and other videos for ads according to the target audience and brand positioning strategy we discussed earlier. Instead of making long videos focused on product details a lot, we made short but captivating videos which can appeal to the young audience’s fashion sense.
Key Takeaways from FB Ads:
Mostly Meta Ads or Any other marketing tactic is just a traffic source but conversion will basically happen by how well you are able to communicate your product to the audience through your website. Its is necessary to have a smooth user journey, attractive offers, crisp information and right brand positioning on the website.
It is extremely important to make data driven decisions and track customer journeys meticulously. Always rely on your own tracking or google analytics to avoid the potential unreliability of Facebook Ads Manager.
Seo Strategy
If you don’t already know this, SEO is all about how effectively you can strategize your content and technical efforts keeping a bigger picture in mind. After our initial keyword research we could find that the average Kd of the important keywords was low when it comes to commercial keywords which were directly related to the business.
It's important to note that since the website was being built after our onboarding only so it was easy for us to structure the website according to the SEO strategy that we prepared.
At every stage we had meetings with the developer to ensure that there are no technical issues that will hinder the SEO growth and future and also we structured the website to be SEO friendly. We built separate pages for all the product categories and after through keyword research we added content to those pages so that the pages itself can rank for commercial keywords.
After the website was ready we audited it for technical issues(Like mobile friendliness, H1 tags, canonical tags, etc) we started focusing on the content. We wanted to establish our website as a trusted authority in the hair extensions and hair care industry in general.
Since the website was completely new, initially we created blogs(2-3 times per week) around informational keywords with low KD purely for increasing our website authority and bringing the initial traffic on the website. We have seen that usually people start stressing about approaching big websites for guest postings since the first day itself but if your keyword research and content is solid, that is not required in the beginning. Initially we focused on profile creations, image submissions, pdf submissions, internal linking in the content, web 2.0 backlinks etc and this was more than enough for us to rank for low difficulty keywords and increase our DA to a decent level so that our category pages can rank for low difficulty keywords.
Here I would like to include a tip, many times people are worried that what if the backlink that they have created doesn't get indexed. In the initial phase we work really hard when it comes to what we call as maturing our backlinks as this is the major factor for ranking on low difficulty keywords. So basically what we do is, we make backlinks of our web 2.0 backlinks itself which helps the primary backlink in getting indexed which ultimately helps with our website DA.
Also many people have been asking us in our previous posts how we structure our blog since I talk a lot about content quality, see it's not as hard and it doesn't involve a lot of research at least in the initial phase when you just have to rank on low difficulty keywords. In this phase usually what we do is study the top 5 ranking blogs on the particular keyword and make sure that we include more content and more subheadings then them. Also we try to find opportunities to include tables or charts wherever possible, we include good quality images(original if possible) and at this stage internal linking is very very important so we focus on that as well. In later stages although the basic strategy for framing the blogs remains same, overall content strategy varies a lot from business to business and requires a lot of strategizing depending on the brand positioning goals.
So after we were able to rank for low difficulty informational keywords and our Website DA reached a decent level due to our backlinking efforts, we started writing content around the fashion advice and common problems which people face related to hair in general. But as discussed earlier, we wanted to keep our brand positioning fashion centric, so even while writing about common problems we applied a positive and solution centric approach. We strategically placed internal links to our product pages in the content and tested popups with offers as well. Apart from this, we started guest posting as well at this stage. For finding websites for guest posting we used SEMrush’s backlink gap analysis tool and created a segregated list of blogs that we can reach out to based on their content quality and DA. By this time the store started generating decent revenue from ads and SEO so the client was completely onboard with reaching out to blogs for guest posting. Guest posting and overall strategic SEO application started generating a good amount of traffic for us and in 3-4 months the revenue generated due to SEO surpassed our Ads revenue as well.
Advantages of Combining SEO and Paid Ads
While Facebook Ads played a crucial role in launching the brand and driving initial traffic, SEO has emerged as the primary driver of sustainable growth. This approach allowed us to:
SEO efforts are always ongoing but we are really satisfied with the base that we have built and we are really looking forward to working with keywords with higher KD and generating more revenue with SEO In the upcoming months. Although we will keep running ads in future as well mostly for awareness purposes but the major revenue will be generated from our SEO efforts. Apart from this, as we mentioned earlier, we are looking to actively start the Social Media efforts as well from the next month itself. We will be looking to target Instagram and Tiktok in the initial phase and we believe in 2-3 months social media will contribute towards 25% of our revenue which will grow rapidly.
Thankyou For Reading!

2024.05.14 13:04 digital_wiz How We Scaled a Hair Extension Brand using Facebook Ads and SEO to give $80,000 ROI in 6 Months (Detailed Breakdown)

Facebook Ads Spend(For 6 Months): $10,000
Total Revenue(6 months): $140,000
Other Expenses(6 months): Product Cost + Delivery cost + Team + Agency Fees + Website Optimization + Packaging: $50000
