Kennings for cell phone

Hello folks,
I have a tip of the day for you. Hopefully, you find this information useful. I do believe I stumbled on what falsely labels us as abusing the search process to earn points and landing us in a cool down state.
This morning, for whatever reason, I didn't follow my typical daily routine to obtain the rewards points. This is the second time I went "a different direction" and was placed in a cool down state. I found the common denominator between the two instances.
What works for me...

1. Open Bing mobile app.
2. Complete the reading of articles (x3 points a piece).
3. Execute the Bing searches.
4. Tap the "home" button at the lower left of the Bing app and then tap on the "Rewards" tile.
5. Tap the coin for the daily streak.
6. Complete the "Daily Set."
7. Complete the items under the "Daily Set."
8. Open Xbox app on my cell phone. Claim points for opening that app, playing a PC and console game and playing the jeweled game.
9. Open either Bing on my PC or Xbox and complete the PC searches.

What I found that puts us in a "cool down" state...
This morning, I opened the Bing Mobile app. For whatever reason, I didn't complete the article reads and the searches first. I always do the searches before I answer any of of the questions or check out the topics of the day that grant us points. Why? If you do the questions and topics of the day first, they end up counting as Bing searches. That's why I do the searches first, because each time you answer a question, you get 5 points for landing on the answer page and then when you complete the series of questions, you obtain the allotted points stacked on top for completing that task. A mistake was made and I am paying for it now with the cool down.
Answering the questions quickly (because I knew the answers), I do believe triggered the cool down for me this morning. As I said before, answering the questions count as searches, thus, I had always completed the searches first. I should have stayed in the lane that worked for me in the past. Once the cool down state is over for me, I will return to what worked. I feel like I have been asked to stand in the corner and told to don't move. LOL

I (33f) am raising two boys (15 and 7) on my own. They are complete opposites. Their temperments are nearly opposite. Both pretty good kids. In order to maintain my bills and fit a schedule where I can work, make more money, and be available during daytime for sick days, Dr appts, etc, I work third shift. My 15yo is self sufficient. He knows how to cook. He knows safety and into survival stuff. Not so much book smart but otherwise yes. He has a good heart and cares about me and his brother but these teen years are really wearing me down. I just don't know what to do. I don't want the issues changing my youngest son to think it's okay to be the same way.
I've tried getting him involved and talked to by some male relatives of mine but it's intermittent and they don't live with us obviously so I just feel like I have no support.
He's failing everything but weightlifting. Purposefully gets iss. Regularly gives me attitude. I ask the bare minimum of chores because I can't get him to do them anyways (trash and dishes) and I have to repeat myself constantly. Simple conversations such as why do I come home from work and every light is on in the house and outside while they're sleeping gets me an attitude because "I've got an attitude". Or 2 hours into me catching some sleep after my 10 hour shifts and lacking sleep because I also take my grandma to chemo he wakes me up to tell me I need to take him to get gas so he can cut grass. No consideration for my efforts. I cook, clean, do laundry, drive them to and from school, pay all the bills, try to take them out a couple times a month, I do it all with no respect from him. He might buy me a drink or snack here and there. I've refused to pay his cell phone bill anymore. Yesterday while I was napping, he made his brother stay inside and apparently took off walking a few miles up the road with friends without even telling me because he "didn't want to wake me up".....
I guess I'm ranting but I don't know where to turn or what to do. I don't want to get physical. And some things I do or consider like getting rid of his things, I still have to deal with the slamming doors and attitude. I'm just tired. I just almost wish I could send him to the Marines like he wants already... Idk if I can wait two more years ...
Trying to stop him from doing things like hanging with friends makes me not be able to do anything grown up. And I also worry he will be sneaking out while I work third. (I'm installing a new camera in the house just waiting on it to arrive).
TLDR... single mom who does everything to provide gets no respect from 15yo and no matter what I do I'm stressed with no support and at a loss where to turn anymore. Please give any and all advice. I've tried and failed at some routes and maybe someone out there can help...

I will try to keep this short. The company I work for is going through an acquisition and I am not on permanent contract, so as much as I like it and they seem to like me, I am still looking around. I had an interview with a company close by in a similar position (finance) and being a smaller company the interview was directly with the GM. All was pretty quick and fairly nice so I agreed to go to the office and see what they were actually doing in person, as she said "it will be better to understand the job". I noticed the office was not in the best condition, with piles of documents almost everywhere but I didn't think much of it since the interview was so quick. I show up at 9 as agreed and someone buzzes me in. Right after me, they proceed to buzz in the whole rest of the company as no one is apparently allowed to have the keys of the front door. I sit down next to a guy who tells me just to wait, a person will be with me soon to show me some stuff. 40 minutes pass and I am literally playing on my phone, when he decides me to throw me a letter and ask me what I understand from it since it's in a foreign language - which I speak. I explain it to him and start waiting again. After some 15/20 minutes he asks me to look at an email and do some online research to be able to answer the person.. Mind you, I don't work there and no one explained me anything about the company yet. I spend 1h researching as agreed and he gives a quick look and says "good, I will use this to answer them". Then another lady comes to me with a cordless phone, all covered in grease from someone's face and tells me I need to make a phone call. She explains what I need to request and how and I comply. While talking to the customer she keeps interrupting and asking for further stuff, which I cannot understand as the other person is also still talking. At this point I am already pretty annoyed so I just ignore her and keep talking with the customer till the line cuts. Apparently someone else in the office is making a different call on the same line and "oh yeah it happens with these phones". She then proceeds to pick up an old cell phone with the glass completely shuttered and explains that is the mobile they use. THE GLASS WAS COMING OUT OF THE SCREEN AND YOU COULD FEEL IT. Then she asks another guy to take over and if I tell you he never brushed his teeth ever you have to believe me. The smell was disgusting. He gave me another task and left me alone, but I noticed immediately in the time I agreed to be there I could not finish it so I said: "You guys have the break at 12.30 right? Cause I made plans afterwards as I was just asked to be here in the morning" to which he answers "oh not really, it depends". I completed half of the task and at 12.30 I gave back the paperwork and said I needed to leave. GM comes to me and convinced it went well asks if I will be able to go back another day to see more, maybe for the whole day. Mind you, all of this was not paid as I was under the impression I just had to go see what they do and not actually work. Bonus points: THE OFFICE WAS NASTY. The laptop (yes they use laptops, idk how they don't get blind) was so dirty you could not see some of the letters on the keyboard. The screen had a big green stripe of exploded pixels right in the middle and the plugged mouse was not working so I used the laptop one. THERE WAS NO TRASH BIN, JUST A TRASH PILE IN A CORNER. Someone told me if I needed to use the bathroom I could. I wish I went checking to have a laugh but I didn't have the courage. People, do better. If you are in a high position make sure the office is decent and people have at least the minimum required conditions to do the job or you will forever complain that you can't find someone to hire. NASTY.

So my ex ex met this woman in November and after 28 days of knowing her proposed to her. I have three little girls with him. However, from the beginning, this woman has manipulated me unknowingly texting from his phone pretending to be like him, and then other times via his his phone, pretending to be him tells me that he would rather I go through this new fiancé (who is now wife). Who has zero boundaries. She literally came onto the scene as a random stranger, him having known her only a month. And then them getting engaged two weeks later, trying to take over the scene and telling me I'm going to deal with her instead. And I try to tell her I do not have any interest to coparent with a strangerand she always replies with. I'm his wife now it's so bizarre.

Anyway, I have not seen or spoke to their dad ever since they got together. And I mean that. Maybe on an occasion of once or twice on a house phone and which he just repeatedly kept telling me I'm gonna learn to respect his wife. It was so strange. It was like a broken record. But it's just so bizarre anyway, if I'm not able to do what, she desires which sometimes it's insisting that I go through her with coparenting like literally telling me any problem I have the girls I'm gonna go through her, down to cutting off his cell phone and not any of us allowed to have the new phone number and limited to a house landline That he never calls me back and every time he talks to my kids, he always mention things like did I tell them to, to listen or stalk?. or making statements, insisting that the reason they're calling me is because I told them to Call him for whatever reason. It has really affected the entire scheme of things because this woman has cut off and blocked all contact that I've attempted only to address parenting things, my kids are not allowed to call me when they're there, and my oldest has to turn in her cell phone. Which point now she doesn't even bring it. She's afraid. And as per my Childrens report, when they're there all she does is scream at him and they fight.
Additionally, anytime that they're with their dad at their new house that technically is both of their homes. (Dad moved into her place before marrying all so soon), this woman loves bombs the crap out of my kid, the oldest. And the youngest who is 2. But stonewalls the middle child and makes like she's the problem sort of. It's so messed up. And then she pulls these things where they're showing my girls. It's totally OK and easy for them to just drop out of their lives as they've done a few times. With no contact.It's so emotionally confusing and honestly traumatic to them especially because she imposes these ridiculous periods where dad is not gonna be able to care for the children because of all these impairments that come up and I'm not allowed to know what they are. She told me none of my business. So the fact that she's cutting off my kids from contact with her dad and he doesn't even call and then all of a sudden they wanna pop back in their life like nothing changed It's very very very detrimental to my girls.
What can I do legally? To where I don't have to deal with her at all. Or where it's a violation for her to even contact me? She keeps referencing the court order between he and I which she knows is so entirely vague. It literally just says " three weekends a month, visitation as mutually agreed by both parties" and that's about it. Bought a house in my hometown. Day before I do my home inspection, a family member of mine walked to a family grave of ours in town and was accosted by a soon to be neighbor ( old dude a few houses down, not next to me ) acusing him of peepin in windows in houses in town, took cell phone pictures etc.. It's a very small rural town. Dude has legal walking streets/paths on front and back of his .2 acre looking property. His house is shit (apparently sold it but still lives there idk). My mom (in her 60s, double knee replacemens, hardly a threat to anyone), trying to defend my family member when they returned home to tell her the story, returned to the old dudes house to inquire about the treatment of my family member. He apparently knew who she was and told her to "get the fuck off of his property". She said "well fuck you too" as she turned around promptly and went off of his porch to return to her vehicle. He sprung from his house (was talking through a screen door the whole time apparently) and proceeds to kick my mom in her back (because she was walking away already). Dude has a no trespassing sign. Cops said they both could be at fault. No one thought to record the altercation. Nothing happened. I wasn't present for any of it.There is no dad figure, it's kind of me as the male role model.
If it matters, I learned Dude got divorced and had a stoke. But apparently also always been an asshole (but hasn't been the same since the stroke)....small town...everyone knows each other so it wasn't hard to learn about him. The nights are pretty dark in this town, and idk if the old dude has the brains or money for cameras, but motion lights might be a thing. He's probably always paranoid.
I'm pretty sure he doesn't know who I am (yet) or what I look like. He might just leave eventually if I wait long enough if he really did sell the house idk. But If I was to say, get a unethical pro life tip that would make me feel better about the situation, what could be done without painting a target on myself since I live just down the street?

Hello! I have my first k-pop concert tomorrow (TXT) and I am super excited for it. I was reading over the emails I was sent by the venue to prep and I noticed there was a bullet that said "Please be advised that there is a strict no camera, no video, no livestream policy. Violation of this may result in ejection from the facility."
I can't seem to find info on if this includes photosgraphs/videos on a cell phone camera, as all the discussion I can find specifically relates to professional/stand alone cameras. What has been your experience with these policies and what did you do? I am really excited about the concert but now I'm anxious about taking photos. Please help!

Hi everyone! I’m a 28 year male in PNW. Currently in cell phone industry for the last 7 years, management for 4.5 years. Feeling a little stagnant, wanting a change of pace. I would say on average while managing I’ve had a YOY growth of 5-10% since being in it, but wanting to get into a better paying job. Just don’t know what steps I should be taking, jobs I qualify for or don’t. I’ve been wanting to get into hybrid work but I understand that’s a scarce thing at the moment; I I don’t know how my work experience would translate or qualify for. Any tips would be helpful, please and thank you.
Edit: Forgot to mention that I was recently told that with my experience that I should be looking into consulting jobs with like Google/Microsoft/Amazon, but I don’t see any of those positions available so just made me even more confused

I'm tying to figure out what is going on here. I have Google Fi as a cell provider on a Google Pixel 8 Pro. In late March I switched my calling plan to Unlimited Plus so I could add tethering. I got my bill this month and Google Fi is saying I used 91 gigs of data total. 54 for my phone and 36 for my tethered device. My phone is only reporting 42 gigs total. 6.5 for apps on my phone and 36 for tethering. WHERE is the 48 gig discrepancy?
I don't play video games (ZERO), I don't watch videos on my phone. I don't Tik Tok, I don't edit graphics or video. I don't video chat or stream video game live streams. I don't do anything heavy data wise on my phone.
How did I go from 8-10 gigs a month data used on my phone to 54 in one month?!
When I look at my mobile data usage it says tethering was 36. The next most used was Facebook at 1.01 gigs. All my apps together only account for 6.5 gigs (and I rounded all the totals up).
Are they double dipping? Counting the data when my phone was acting as a router and then adding tethering data used thinking it's 2 different streams?
To put this in perspective, I watched about 20 hours total of Youtube TV at 240k on my tethered device. That used 36 gigs. I would have to watch almost TWICE that amount for my phone to use that kind of data. It's not possible.
Why is there such a large discrepancy between what my phone reports and what Google Fi reports?
I added this months usage to the post. We are basically half way though the month and it's a fraction of the data compared to last month. I'm doing the same thing this month as last. And if you look at the app usage, what Google Fi reports and what my phone reports are a BIG difference.
They aren't listening to me. Help me help them understand.

Where I live will never have cellular service. I was given an AirSense 10 for my trial and it has a card in it ‘just in case’ it doesn’t send data - and of course it doesn’t. They’re getting me to mail the card or drop it off if I am near the clinic (2 hours away)
I set up the MyAir app the day I got it, and of course it has been useless because none of the data uploads. I check the readings in the morning but can’t see any day to day data or anything.
This week we travelled and went to a hotel, as soon as it was plugged in it got onto the cell service and MyAir updated with 2 weeks of data. Now I see what I am missing and I am annoyed that I am missing out on all of this.
I will have this machine for 5 years, and everything else is going well. Will I care about the data and app anymore once I am used to it? Is it worthwhile to request a different machine - the AirSense 11 has Bluetooth - does this mean it can update directly to my phone? My phone is right beside the CPAP on my table at night.
CPAP therapy is just a piece of the puzzle for me right now. I am on medical leave for exhaustion, insomnia and related issues. I am seeing a family doctor and therapist. The respiratory doctor who prescribed the machine will likely look over my data in the next couple weeks and not see me again for 5 years. It took two years to get my appointment and CPAP. So to me, knowing what is going on with my own body is important. Nobody but me will be looking over it unless I have a problem and ask them to.
Is having the MyAir functionality worth asking to exchange/replace the trial machine with an 11? The other thing bothering me is my first trial Machine was a 10 for her, and this one is just the black one. It is my understanding the 11 includes the ‘for her’ algorithm.
I feel like the users here seem to know more than the office providing me with the machine. They didn’t know if the ‘for Her’ was necessary/better or if another machine can work without cell service. But I don’t want to have something for 5 years if it doesn’t meet my needs now.

There were some legally required updates to the property necessary for a title transfer. The buyecontractor agreed to do the work at a heavily discounted rate worked into the purchase price. What should have taken 2 months dragged out to 8 months past the expiry of the contract. When we'd spent over $20,000 excluding equity, we demanded a renegotiation. Our realtor friend also stepped in saying that we were way under market value, pressuring us to list it on the market. This all triggered a legal battle that never went to court, however it was discovered that our contract was negligently deficient, and the attorney who drafted it as a neutral party is now threatening to sue us for breaching said contract on behalf of the buyer, we put the property on the market as we are now out of contract and clearly not going to proceed (mistake), receive a few offers and then when we managed to find our own attorney who would take the case, we were informed that it needed to come off the market immediately as our failure to act at the end of the contract expiry looked bad on our part and could be construed as a tacit extension of the contract. A nasty battle of lawyer's letters ensued resulting in the buyer's lawyer recusing himself (officially but still probably advising in the background) on threat of a malpractice suit and bar complaint, and ultimately we came out ahead recovering the carrying costs completely. Finally our house goes back on the market and we get a contingent buyer who dicks us around for months. A title report shows a $70k lien that we were never aware of. The contractor then tries to stand by it triggering another small legal battle that scares off the buyers. When they back off we are now in the depths of winter when nobody buys houses. Our realtor probably fed up with everything, demands we drop the price $30k. At this point we have had a total of 60 days on the market in the last year and we have strong words back and forth with the realtor. Come late winter we get an offer at asking price, as is, accepting all prior inspections. We just got our appraisal at $2k over the sales price and everything is moving ahead. The money isn't in the bank yet but I'm so excited to be done with this hellacious rollercoaster.
Lessons learned: pay the money to have an FSBO contract professionally reviewed by a second attorney, and be realistic on the value but don't let an impatient realtor bully you into an undervalue price just to clear their board. Anyway that's my story.

I was 6 when the Plainfield tornado hit my neighborhood. We were the first subdivision hit when it entered Plainfield. It was weird bc half the subdivision was gone and the other half was still standing. It also hit a pig farm at the end of the street and there were dead pigs everywhere. The ones who weren’t dead made awful noises and people went around performing mercy killings.
Right before it hit I was outside with a friend. We just happened to decide to go inside our perspective houses before it hit 10 mins later. I remember thinking the clouds looked weird and now I realize they were mammatus clouds. I went inside to turn on the tv, Ghost Busters were on at 3. The tv wouldn’t turn on but the power was still on. My mom was on the phone, my dad was sleeping and my brother was getting ready to go deliver his papers for his route.
It got really dark outside and the wind and rain picked up, throwing things off our deck. My dad came tearing out of his room, yelling we needed to get downstairs and into the bathroom. My mom decided to continue her phone conversation downstairs until about the tornado hit saying “girl, I gotta go, there’s a tornado”. My family and I hid in the bathroom, all of them piled up on me. At one point I could feel the wind pulling all of us out of the bathroom, my dad holding onto the toilet seat while being pulled in the air. I don’t remember it sounding like a freight train, it was just very loud and our house was being torn apart. After it hit we went to our neighbor’s whose house was still standing. We had to peel the garage door up to escape, the top half of the house and all the stairs were gone. Our neighbor’s son happened to have one of the first cell phones and my parents were able to make a few calls to our relatives a few towns over.
I remember seeing the tornado, it was massive, black and looked like it had mini tornadoes swirling around it.
My dad had left to go help with the neighbors. A woman behind us was watching her grandson and she couldn’t get to him bc the stairs were gone. The grandson happened to be on a bed and a wall collapsed on him. Because he was on the bed, it was able to indent enough, he didn’t get crushed. Fiberglass was in his throat and my dad was able to get it out to help him breathe again. Then, the farmer down the street had his tractor roll onto him. My dad and some neighbors helped pull it off of him. He didn’t make it in time to get to his storm shelter. We had no warnings.
Around the neighborhood trees were stripped, cars in and on trees. Glass and fiberglass everywhere. All of our belongings were gone. We couldn’t even save clothing bc fiberglass was just embedded in everything. They found my dad’s savings bonds miles away. Our cats got blown away too, still lived, but were miles from home.
We had to evacuate to the end of the street bc of gas leaks.
My brother and I were supposed to start school the next day. Him at the high school and me at the Catholic school that was destroyed.
My aunts and uncles spent over 3 hours traveling to us from towns 45 mins away. We stayed with them a week before being set in a temporary home. Our house was one of the first to be rebuilt. It was eerie going to the neighborhood after it hit. I went w my dad often. The National Guard was there and also my neighbor, old man, was sitting outside w a shotgun to make sure there were no looters.
I wanted to be a storm chaser for a while, but well I’m not great at math so killed that dream. Also, I still have a fear response regarding bad weather. Watching the patterns change has been fascinating and scary.
