I, like many others, got hit with a suspension from R*, and I'll admit it was my own fault.
At 1st I would select Online mode from the game type selection menu and then load a private session so I could use Kiddions, but then I got cocky.
I'd be in public sessions and teleport around to get my business started for the day. I'd teleport & chase griefer, exacting my version of anti-griefing. I'd rig the slot machines to win big, stopping at 10mil per session. Rig the Lucky Wheel and get the podium car. Go through the various clothing stores and buy anything pink [my character was a lose adaptation of the 1st pink Pow Ranger]. Twice I had been in public sessions where a modder had raised my rank without notice; first time I went from 10 to 260; the sound was so anxiety inducing I muted my speakers. The 2nd time it was a handful of levels, but I got a message from Solomon thanking be for reclaiming his movie props. I had never started this mission thread, And when I went to his office to claim the mission reward I got the initial message from Solomon about the movie prop mission thread.
So, once my 30 Day suspension is up here is my plan to continue using Kiddions:

- Load into story mode, then select online mode and load into a private session
- If I get loaded into a public session from a mission I'll get out immediately
- No more teleporting around
- Can change spawn point & then find a new session
- If I rig the slot machines, only one mega jackpot win per real like 24h
- Need to look into what the bunker method is
- There's always the Cayo heist, even with the cool down
- No more rigging the Lucky Wheel
- You don't even spin it when you rig it

As a veteran of HD1 and the first galactic war I am absolutely appalled at the state of the game’s current arsenal. There are some fun and unique weapons here and there but most of them just feel redundant or terrible. Nowhere is this more visible that the AR, SMG, and DMR lineup. Here is a rework I’m proposing to high command ti ensure we are given proper tools to ensure the safety and spread of managed democracy.
Gun Rebalance and additions ARs Class Role: Rifles are designed to put holes through targets, and they need to reflect this role better. All rifles with Light penetration have been upgraded to be Light armor defeating. This means that while weapons with Light AP will damage light armor, they won’t always fully damage it. While rifles with light armor defeating fully negate light armor and deal full damage to it.
Liberator, 65DMG, Excellent ergonomics, the best weapon for firing on the move, +1 mag Role: Extremely easy to control and ideal for new players or veterans looking for something reliable. Capable of 45/45/4.5/ delivering 45 rounds at 45 meters in 4.5 seconds on target with no effort. Lore: High command has started production on upgrade kits for our standard rifles to improve it’s handling. Liberators now come with a vertical foregrip and a new muzzle brake to better control the weapon.
AP Liberator, 70 DMG, +5 rounds, Slower reload, 23 recoil, bad ergonomics, Uses AR scope Role: This Frankenstein of a gun is not for new players, uncomfortable recoil, and unfriendly handling in exchange for uncompromising stopping power. Terrible when firing on the move, with significant muzzle climb. But it provides rapid armor-piercing fire to those who can control it. Lore: The Penetrator started its life as a converted liberator modified to better penetrate armor. However there was no standard for how this would be achieved, so the conversion differs from regiment to regiment. Typically it involved sawing off a diligence barrel and converting it into a squeeze bore to increase velocity at the cost of terminal ballistics without using new ammunition. High Command has now realized the potential usefulness of a standardized conversion for its service rifle. Fabricator schematics have been published for new components and manuals for a consistent conversion. As part of project Ironbreaker, an initiative to outfit soldiers with better AP weapons, Production has begun on a variety of new ammo for the weapon which is much more powerful. The new 5.77mm Talon round generates 3x more chamber pressure than the liberator. The weapon itself has a new chamber and a properly machined barrel, made from surplus diligence rifles. The new AP liberator is also outfitted with a standard rifle optic, Punisher pump grip for a vertical grip, 35 round magazine, and a grey and red color scheme to denote its new changes.
Adjudicator, 90-100 DMG, 720 RPM, 30 recoil, Burst fire, uses the DMR scope Role: Battle rifle, Ideal for long-range combat, Semi-auto for small targets or precise shooting, Burst fire for large targets or close combat. Sluggish ergonomics but surprisingly controllable. Lore: Designed to replace liberator rifles on specific fronts where armored enemies are more common, the adjudicator was met with mixed success. The weapon proved to be reliable, powerful, and accurate but failed to fully replace the liberator in an assault rifle capacity. However, the 17th Helldivers regiment came up with a brilliantly effective modification. The outfitted the weapon with a reciprocating barrel shroud and a burst fire mode to turn the rifle into a long-range killing machine. With a surplus of Adjucator parts piling up from the weapon’s failure, High command has made this modification the new factory standard for all Adjucator rifles. The added weight and complexity in exchange for what has been reported as a 50% increase in accuracy seemed to be a fair trade.
Tenderizer, 840RPM, 75-round drum, 12 recoil, 4 mags, Terrible reload, Okay moving accuracy Role: IAR, ideal for laying down sustained fire on targets, can mow down multiple targets quickly. Low magazine count and high RoF make this weapon prone to running out of ammo. Lore: A new development to supplant the more expensive and time-consuming liberator rifles for SEAF army troopers, the Tenderizer was an unwelcome addition. It was heavier, bulkier, and awkward to handle. However, the increased bulk made it easy to control during sustained fire and it was very reliable under this strain. Troops began jury rigging drum magazines to use it as light machine guns. With a sizeable surplus of the liberator’s 5.77mm ammo, High Command began testing a designated IAR (Infantry Automatic Rifle) variant for helldivers use. This variant was an instant success providing individual hell divers with team-level firepower in a rifle-sized package.

Veterans of Maevelon Creek petitioned High command to develop a new rifle, able to quietly eliminate bots while still being effective against devestators.
Yari(New), 45DMG, 1400RPM burst, 900RPM salvo, 36 Round magazine, 10 mags, AP Role: Prototype rifle with lightweight Sabot ammunition, fires a 3-round hyperburst and a 6-round salvo. Exceptional ammo efficiency and power at range lacks close combat ability.
DMRs(Classwide rework) Role: DMRs are designed to put rounds where rounds need to go while also being able to be used alongside assault rifles in a firefight. In Helldivers DMRs take an unconventional role of being viable against light target while alos enabling the user to defeat larger enemies like devestators and bile spewers at long range. To start, DMRs have a new bonus, DMRs deal +75% extra weak point damage (Headshots) and deal 10% more damage per point of AP they have over the target region. So they do extra damage if they hit the soft unarmored bits as well as on headshots. They also receive 50% less recoil while prone to better provide accuracy at range. DMRs are for the methodical sharpshooter who prefers to pick off targets at a distance instead of charging in, rewarding careful positioning and shot placement with heaps of dead foes.
Diligence, 120-140 DMG, 22 Round mag, 30 recoil, 8 mags, Full auto mode, Silenced Role: Starter DMR that delivers high damage at long range while keeping the user concealed. Silencer isn’t as effective at close range, but great for staying hidden during firefights. Lore: High command has witnessed the substantial failures of their DMRs and has issued a complete recall of the weapon. A brand new receiver and chamber system has increased its muzzle velocity by 500 feet per second, greatly increasing lethality.
Diligence CS, 175-200DMG, 18-round mag, 6 mags, Staggers on full damage hit, Thermal optic Role: This more demanding variant of Diligence rewards more precise shooting with higher damage. It is better at stopping large targets but is less effective at picking off enemies. Lore: as part of the Ironbreaker initiative, many weapons are being issued new nitro ammunition. The diligence CS has undergone a more extensive upgrade. A new barrel and chamber designed to maximize lethality with the new ammo has greatly increased stopping power. SMGs (Classwide rework) Role: SMGs put holes in targets, not through them. SMGs have been largely replaced by Rifles in modern warfare, the same should apply to Helldivers. This shouldn’t make the useless, but instead good at different things. SMGs should be suited to personal defense and reliability under a wider variety of circumstances than rifles. SMGs have classwide damage nerf to reflect their lower caliber and have very noticeable damage falloff. However, they get a buff in every other area, with the most notable being that each SMG carries 12 mags instead of 8. SMGs are still capable of dropping larger targets with one mag, and with their lower recoil, they can reliably do so. But are now better suited to protecting the user from groups of weaker enemies.
Defender, 40 DMG, 720 RPM, 5 recoil, 12 Mags, Lightning fast reload Role: User-friendly and economical weapon, very easy to use. Less power than assault rifles but puts rounds where they need to be. Lore: The original Defender SMG was actually a failure, being prohibitively expensive to produce both the weapon and its ammo. Although it was a very popular weapon during peacetime, the demands of the war have made the defender a rare sight. To ensure that SEAF forces had a reliable weapon for CQC, the Defender A2 has been put into production. High command has changed its standard handgun cartridge from the .43 Hawk Tungsten core AP round to the cheaper 8mm FMJ round. The new defenders have an increased rate of fire and are more controllable but lacks the stopping power of the original.
Knight, 35 Damage, 900RPM Full auto, 1300rpm burst, 8 Recoil, 12 mags Role: PDW, Delivers a torrent of rounds quickly and accurately. Sweeper(New) 40 DMG, 800RPM, 80 Round drum, 8 mags, terrible ergonomics Role: Space Tommy gun, this weapon is designed to put as many rounds as possible down range as fast as possible, where said rounds land is irrelevant. Ammo hungry but very mobile.

I am 24(F). I had an LO long back during college. It lasted for many years as we were fwb too. I was severely obsessed with him. However things changed, he moved abroad to the US and I was stuck in my own third world country because of severe health issues. I have a bunch of original art designs myself, though this information isn’t really relevant so moving on to my question; I recently recreated a design I purchased several years ago for my dad so I could make another shirt for him since his is worn out, it was his favorite shirt ever. It’s a Bob’s Burgers design where the character is slightly edited from the show model with text, nothing necessarily originally drawn. My question is, would it be wrong to repost this design recreation and sell it myself? I don’t want to disrespect the original designer but I can’t find them or the design ANYWHERE online anymore. I even went through my emails trying to find the original purchase but no dice.

When i searched online for hardware options i came across multiple posts where people said you should just buy the non-T model as almost any consumer board would allow to set the power limit. So i got an ASRock H470M-ITX for the 3x M.2 and an i3-10320 because it was cheap and all T-models were more than twice the price. Just to find out there is no setting to set a lower power limit. But the setting is there, right? Only the options are crap. So what would one do if not grabbing the latest bios rom and some hex-editor? Clearly within our property, but also clearly designed to cause a headache if any of the trunks broke. Not fully visible in the picture are my neighbors garage to the left, an above ground pool in the back left diagonal corner lot, a shed directly in the yard directly behind, and the white garage in the back right that’s slight visible. I had nightmares during the first windstorm and we decided it had to come down. Biggest snag was that the only access to the yard was a 36” wide gate between my house and garage, meaning that all the wood would need to be hand trucked to the driveway, boosting the cost of the job. Until one company offered an idea, remove a section of the fence on the left side of the yard and back their truck with its grapple arm into our yard, though the neighbor’s driveway. I owned all sides of the fence, just needed to get their permission to back in and pull out. I went to talk to them that day, shared the tree company’s proof of insurance, explained the problem, and offered to replant or replace any plants damaged on their side. They understood the risk of the tree, it had worried them in the past, and agreed to the plan. Fast forward a few months. I get the call that the crew is coming in two days. I pull everything out of the way on my side, and go over to talk to the neighbor, let them know it’s finally happening, and to let them know I would pull the fence panels down the morning of, and the grapple truck would pull the post. They are all okay with it and say thanks for the heads up. Until the morning of… I get a text at like 8:30 after they had both left for work. They had mentioned to the MIL the night before and whatever she said spooked them, wouldn’t even reply to my pleas to reconsider. So then I had to get in contact with the tree crew, and let them know the plans had changed. They were pissed, and agreed to do the job for the same price, but without the stump grinding, because their unit wouldn’t fit through the tight turn between the garage and house. I then had to contract another company to come with a smaller unit and grind the stump, but not remove the wood chips. Costing me an extra $800. Those neighbors barely ever spoke to me again…so that’s how I spent $800 instead of replacing some soil and big box store annual “landscaping”. As I said in the title, I doubt there was anything I could have done legally, just continue to be the better neighbor… it all just popped back into mind when I discovered tree law here! Oh, and PS, I was right from the start. All of those leads were completely hollow and could have gone at any time. |

 | A year ago I bought something called the Super Console X, which is basically a small box that has emulators on it. The PS1 section had Tony Hawk 1, 2, and 3. I said “Oh, I get it now.” I struggled a lot in that first game, especially when it came to Downhill Jam and its secret tape, and then with getting enough points in Burnside. It took me days to finish the game. (The other night I played it again and beat it in 40 minutes. That’s what practice does.) At the same time I found out there was a 2020 remake, and instantly bought an Xbox One. I loved it. At the same time, I was playing through the PS1 version of THPS 2. Also during this time I was watching a lot of videos of the PS2 games, and learning that they were the golden age for the series. I became desperate to play them, but I don’t own a PC so I couldn’t emulate them. So about a month ago, I bought a jailbroken PS3 with an app on it called the PS2CV Store, which has all the main PS2 games on it to download for free. I messaged the seller beforehand and asked him what Tony Hawk games are on it. It had them all and I couldn’t wait to get it. I can’t describe the excitement I first turned on THPS 3. To go from the Ps1 version to the PS2 version blew my mind. Everything was so smooth. I beat 3, and got halfway through 4 before moving onto Underground, which was an amazing experience. Then I beat Underground 2 and am presently a third of the way through Wasteland. I got into the Tony Hawk universe late, but over the last year I’ve made up for lost time. I now own every Tony Hawk console game, from the original PS1 game to 1+2, including Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD. They may not be making anymore games, but at least we have at minimum eight really great Tony Hawk games, more than Metal Gear Solid. There are games like Metal Gear Solid, that are fine in their way, slow and calculated, and then there is Tony Hawk, fun and fast. And fun and fast is what lures me most when deciding what game to play. I’ve only ever been interested in playing online multiplayer games, mainly FIFA and WWE, but with Tony Hawk I’m happy to play offline, just me and the ledges, quarter pipes, and rails. I greatly appreciate everyone sending me feedback as I want to make this the best BOF project I can. Some major points: I scrapped the Unity FPS version as it just wasn't BOF. I thought I was going to have to drop the 2.5D; however, I spent a few sleepless nights tweaking and tinkering to get the 2.5D working for what I needed. I was able to fix the terrible load time on maps (it was an issue with the texture encryption and models) and fixed the FPS issue. There is still a slight problem, I'm working on, with setting FOV, Rendering and Shadow to max on large city maps (interiors and dungeons are fine). Right now I have the camera unlocked (with full rotation and pitch control) and will need some testing to see the best angle (if I want to lock it at all). Most likely when people are testing/playing I will be able to make the best adjustments then. The screenshots show different angles and rotations. Isometric is not working for the sprites. I overhauled the entire combat system have added tons of bug fixes and changes. Currently working on lethal, custom/scripted battles instead of RNG ones. Also, hoping to start on skill trees for every character this week. There are just too many bug fixes and small modifications to post right now. Also there are some major changes and content being added. Here are a few screenshots to show what I've been working on: Angle Can now switch Font within the game. Can change FOV, Shadow Quality, and Distance Rendering. Now as you level up you get Attribute Points to spend. Master System is now in the game. You get a Attribute Boost as well as leveling grants additional points and abilities. Quest System Overhauled Game doesn't like max graphics on large maps. Shadow rendering is issue. My goal was to make each inside area look like a diorama. Full camera rotation and pitch control. Still playing around with camera control. Different angle. Rotating to see hidden objects. 2024.05.14 23:33 Dechna Questions about my new 4090 (I'm hardware illiterate and only know bigger number better more good)
So I recently upgraded to a sweet 4090 from my 2080 and performance wise, it is definitely a big upgrade.
What I don't understand is that apart from giving me a lot more fps and handling stuff better, is that it shoots up to 90%+ usage and 70°+ the moment I activate something like reshade, even not super over the top ones.
My benchmark for comparison would be ff 14 and dragons dogma 2 where, back on the 2080, I understood why the usage and temp would go up quite a bit because I was using pretty heavy reshades and modded a bunch of other shit in there but I don't understand why the 4090 would perform exactly the same (except about 100 additional fps on average). Even Elder Scrolls Online, which pretty much runs on a potato goes up to 70-90% when I activate reshade, depending on if I use one with ray tracing or not.
I have also never heard my 2080 rev up a lot, no matter how much I pushed it with too high settings and other things it was always relatively quiet. The 4090 however I hear a deep hum as it starts to go wild once I activate reshade effects (the same ones I used on the 2080 previously). Never overclocked either gpu and kept standard settings.
Is this just normal or am I doing something wrong?
My specs are: i9-9900K 32GB DDR4 RTX 4090 Asus TUF Z390 Plus Gaming
could it be that everything I got is back from 2019 and doesn't play well with the new 4090? Might also add that I upgraded my generic old LG monitor to an Odyssey G9 and running that bad boi on its highest settings as well.
Any idea would be appreciated because I don't wanna overheat or break anything just because I'm a sucker for graphics sometimes.

Logged in today on ps5 to play and loaded my saved game that had some mods on it. My hud is gone on the bottom, my dialog is gone, my health bar and action points meter is gone. The graphics are great but it's all for not if I don't know the direction I'm going or have any sense of my health meter. Tried deleting the mods and reloading, nothing. Sad I don't wanna have to restart the whole game.

2024.05.14 23:32 nerukoro I've got nothing to look forward to.
I'm only 20 but I dropped out of college as it was online in 2020 and couldn't focus being in foster care. Don't have the time or energy to go back. I've worked as a full time waitress for about 2 years and it leaves me so drained, I'm so exhausted. My room is a disaster as I can't get myself out of bed on my off days. I'm lonely and won't even bother putting myself out there as I'm far too socially inept to ever find someone. I have so many passions, I love art and design, I write poetry yet I can barely bring myself to engage myself in such things anymore. I don't have the funds for therapy anymore as all my sad, measly earnings go to rent and bills. It just hurts so bad knowing I have potential that I just can't do anything with. It's too painful to bear, I don't imagine myself ever getting out of this.
