Love the hobby. I’m on here in search of a partner who wants to do SOL romance/drama stories! (I’m a romance nut) whether it’s slow burn or fast-paced I am the gal.
I am also interested in light action/Adventure as well. I do not do fandom stories only OCXOC. I like to have dark themes incorporated into my stories! (If this is something you rather avoid just let me know!)
Some ideas I have:
[Romance, Drama, SOL] Best friends- Characters A & B have been best friends since Middle school, they have seen each other grow and change over the years, and even through college when their relationship nearly ended they still found a way to bounce back and stay close, Character A or B decides it’s time to get out of the supposed friend zone. But every time one or the other tries to confess feelings it falls flat. Will they finally be able to do it?
Isekai Inspired story! (Romance, Drama, Action, Adventure, SOL)
You are dead! Your life was taken by a reckless driver one night. One minute you were driving your car down the Freeway and then the next you woke up in an otherworldly space full of stars, and galaxies. As you awaken, you notice a woman in a black coat standing over you. Once she notices you regain consciousness she takes a step back to give you time to process what happened. The memory of your death came flooding back. Instead of just seeing what happened from your point of view, you had to see others' perspectives on the situation. Paramedics tried to revive you, to no avail. You could hear faint screams of regret from the one who caused this, then faintly feel your last few heartbeats then nothing.
The woman apologizes, as she knows it’s not easy to process this. She then begins to process to accompany him on his journey, he has the choice of being reincarnated or going straight to heaven. That judgment was cast upon him by her as she saw all his memories within an instant. He deserved a second chance if he wanted and she proposed to him, to send him to a world full of magic and monsters. An evil king ruled over the land, and essentially he was among the thousands sent to this world to Stop the king's terror. None have succeeded. But she had faith in you. Which was more than she had in the others and he could feel her excitement to send him off.
But before she could, he did something that no one else had. He asked questions to get to know her and how she ended up in the position, and to his surprise she was once human and died young as well. But her good nature landed her in this position nearly two hundred years ago. After speaking for a while she finally had to send him off through a portal she conjured. Before sending him off he was allowed to pick his power and one thing he would like to take with him. Usually, most people in the position would take their cell phone or a book collection. Something precious to him. But to her surprise, he asked her to come along. And then it was done. Another woman appeared, someone who also cast judgments on the recently deceased and she sent them on their way, to the new village where they would call home!
End of the world! apocalypse story! This one has darker themes! (Romance, Drama, Sci-Fi)
it’s the end of the world, NASA found a planet named Kepler 22b, that was headed straight towards Earth, how this planet came to be in earths orbit was a mystery, and they predicted it would bypass the Earth but they soon discovered it was going to collide with earth within a year. Every night when you looked into the sky you could see the planet getting closer and closer. The population is scrambling to do everything on their bucket lists. And the military is keeping the rioting to a minimum.
Character A meets Character B meet in the grocery store as they bond over their favorite dessert knowing it might be the last time they’ll be able to taste it. As they talk they develop a friendship. Neither of them has any relatives or loved ones to spend their last days with, after getting to know each other they decide they’ll spend their last days together

- I will send everyone writing samples, to make sure we will be able to write together. I am semi-literate, I am not looking for novel writers or someone who writes 3-to 4 paragraphs normally I don’t even do that much unless there is something major going on in our story. And if there is just dialogue between two characters I don’t expect long responses, just no one-liners, please. Plus I write only in 3rd person. Please do not message if you primarily write in 1st
- I only roleplay on Discord. It’s an app I frequently use so it’s the best place for me.
- After a week of no reply I will end the story. Unless you communicate otherwise. If you communicate I will wait 2 weeks for a response and that’s it. I am very firm with this rule. I have had too many experiences that led me to create this rule.
- I work nights and I sleep during the day! (But not all day) so majority of the morning and afternoon I most likely won’t be around unless I’m off, but I’m up all night! So I’ll be active then! (Welcome anyone who’s not in the USA) also, my timezone is EST so at the time of this post it is 11:35 am.

There, he saw Horikita sitting on a bench, reading a book. Ayanokoji walked towards her and said, "Good morning, Horikita." She replied, "Good morning, Ayanokoji-kun." Horikita asked, "What brings you here today?" Ayanokoji replied, "I went to the market and bought coffee powder." Horikita said, "Oh, I see. Then I'll make coffee for you." Ayanokoji said, "Really? Are you..." Horikita replied, "Yup, I will." They walked together, and Horikita stopped, looking at the sky, taking a deep breath, and saying, "It's a quiet atmosphere, right, Ayanokoji-kun?" Ayanokoji replied, "Yeah," with a hint of coldness in his tone. Horikita noticed but didn't say anything. They reached Suzune's room, and Ayanokoji sat down, talking about their next special exam, while Horikita made tea. They sat together, and after drinking the coffee, they became silent. Ayanokoji broke the silence, "Can I say something? This is important." Horikita replied, "What do you want to say?" Ayanokoji shared his past and the White Room experiences, his voice still cold, but Horikita saw a glimmer of emotion in his eyes. After hearing this, Suzune was shocked and didn't say anything, taking the tea cups from the table and washing them. Ayanokoji asked, "Why are you silent? Say something, Horikita." I left a great google review but was contacted via text by the tour guide and he told to remove the review as the company had a policy to not post reviews for tours. I thought it was weird but I deleted it only for me to see reviews about tours with acknowledgements from staff. Red flag #1.
Fast forward to this week, I saw an apartment within my budget and time frame for move-in open up in the building and sent a request to visit again before applying. To my surprise I was called by the leasing office and told the ID I gave them was fake and I couldn't apply to the apartment. Mind you, I received what I thought was a spam message saying "Fucken scammer, using a fraudulent id to tour property is a felony....I love how you think everyone is stupid..." and so on. This was sent to my personal cell phone over the weekend. I thought nothing of it until I happened to try to set up a new tour and had it confirmed over the phone.
So not only did they lie about leaving a review but I was harassed via text. When I tried to explain that the ID verification was a mistake(because it obviously is), I was sent a link to upload my passport. The link they provided would not let me upload my passport. I provided a screenshot of the error in the email and was told there was no alternative and I should look elsewhere. For seemingly no reason at all I was lied to and doxxed for what is a correctable mistake.
This entire situation was extremely weird and stressful as I have been struggling to find a place that meets my criteria. I was made out to be a criminal and treated like shit by this leasing agency. Is there any action I can take for my ID being falsely rejected and my phone number being used to insult me?

Hello, to begin with I want to add that I never judge people by their look and I do not make assumptions based on that, but in this story I will describe the people as they looked so u can feel it more.
The story that happened to me today:
I had a broken arm and went to the doctor today. In our country, the waiting time in hospitals for such a check is up to 3 hours. The waiting rooms are post-communist, old, white walls and blue uncomfortable chairs. After about half an hour of waiting in a waiting room full of people of all ages, who were also after some sort of injury, a 2-meter middle-aged man came to the waiting room, who at first glance looked somewhat strange. He sat down on a chair and his girlfriend or sister came behind him, I don't know what of those two it was, but she looked even weirder than him. The guy had a tucked-in T-shirt in his pants with the inscription PRAGUE and the Czech flag on the front of the t-shirt. He had rustler pants pulled up high. His posture was stooped. He had brown, thinning hair and thick-rimmed glasses. Blue eyes that only had an empty look. Huge palms, since he was about 2 meters. The woman who was with him was missing several teeth. She was overweight and of average height. She was wearing gray leggings, a t-shirt that was short so part of her stomach was visible, and an unzipped dark green jacket. Both of them showed that they were not completely in order and looked a little dirty, but not like street dirty, more like they just dont take care of them self AT ALL dirty. The woman looked much dirtier. They sat down not far from me and at first it was quiet. Subsequently, the guy started talking, first in silence and to himself, he started commenting everything around him. For example, another patient in the waiting room was wearing a cap and the strange guy said. "Look, the moron still has his cap on. Can you understand that?!? haha" He always laughed really unpleasantly after one of his drastic comments. Horror type laugh. He could be heard and people were looking around at him. As we were all waiting in the waiting room, a nurse came out and according to the ordinary number, called a very old lady who had broken her arm and was going to be checked. The strange guy was sitting closest to the door, so everyone was walking around him. As the grandmother slowly got up from her chair (obviously because she is old), the strange guy aggressively shouted: "WELL MOVE, MOVE, COMMON!!!" Everyone pretended not to hear him and no one ever spoke up. As he commented, he said something that I didn't fully understand, something like: "And what does this tattooed moron think of himself???" That should have been on me because I was the only one in the waiting room with tattoos on my body. So I looked at him and asked him: "You talking to me?"
The strange guy aggressively raised his voice and answered: "YES, I SAID THAT ABOUT YOU AND WHAT DO YOU CARE, DO I MIND YOU?" type shit, to which I replied that he was shouting in a waiting room full of people like he is out of his fucking mind and that's when it started. The guy started almost shouting on entire waiting room: "OUT OF MY FUCKING MIND? YOU CAN BE SURE THAT I AM OUT OF MY FUCKING MIND, I'M 100% SCHIZOPHRENIC. I WILL KILL YOU AND I WILL NOT EVEN GO TO JAIL. THEY WILL JUST LOCK ME IN AN INSTITUTE AGAIN :)… YOU WILL END UP UNDERGROUND BECAUSE GOD DOESN'T WANT YOU IN HEAVEN! YOU WILL DIE!!! AND YOU KNOW WHAT, AT LEAST THERE WILL BE ONE LESS BRAT. A VEIN IN YOUR NECK WILL RUPTURE AND YOU'LL BLEED OUT, YOU'LL SEE. BUT I DON'T WANT TO RETURN TO THE INSTITUTE... I DON'T WANT TO RETURN. MRS. GUIDE I DONT WANT TO GO BACK”. The woman who was with him just watched blankly, motionless, without emotion. I didn't answer him, I shook my head and gave a thumbs up as he aggressively said he was going to kill me. I felt a slight fear and a rush of adrenaline, of course I did nothing. WTF? The guy was visibly sick in the head and god knows what would happen if I reacted to this. Afterwards, he kept talking. Totally random stuff. "Look at how he stares at the phone, that's even worse than alcohol, he's addicted. I saw that on TV" again at me. The woman was silent. A hospital bed arrived in the waiting room, on which lay a very old grandmother who had probably fallen and hit herself somehow. She was lying and holding her head up, she told her daughter that it doesn't hurt, when she hold her head up like that so she has to have her head up. The guy heard it and to the entire waiting room: "YOU DON'T HAVE TO. THE ONLY THING YOU HAVE TO DO IS DIE. HAHAH. OTHER THAN THAT, YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING. HAHA :) NO ONE HAS TO DO ANYTHING BUT EVERYONE HAS TO FUCKING DIE. END UP UNDERGROUND. HAHAHAHA. PSST PSST… SHUT UP, BE QUIET” he said to himself and started rocking in his chair. As the patients went in order, he was angry that there were people ahead of him. The nurse called the next patient in line to the ambulance. It was a mother with a baby in a stroller. The guy said out loud, "WHY ARE YOU GOING? YOU AND YOUR CHILD ARE SOMETHING MORE?”. No one in the waiting room noticed him, people just nodded their heads. After the check-up, the mother and the child came out of the doctor's office and this strange guy said: "WHAT, YOU'RE FINALLY GOING AWAY. WHY WERE YOU THE MAIN???" The woman said with a very calm tone: my child is sick. The strange guy: "And you work?! You have a job!?" The woman said yes and when she saw that he was aggressive, she started walking away. While she was walking away, the guy was talking louder and louder at her: "DO YOU THINK I'M STUPID? SHE THINKS I'M STUPID AND THAT I DON'T KNOW THAT SHE'S ON KINDERGARTEN WITH HER BABY! HAHAHAHA” . It was really terrible, I was really afraid that he will attack somebody. The guy also said things like: "NO. NO. I DON'T WANT TO GET MY HANDS DIRTY AGAIN. Pssst, psssst. SILENCE!..... I have to drink, I have dry in my mouth. dry like sahara i am. DRINK, BECAUSE YOUR KIDNEYS WILL DRY UP!” The doctor called number 12 in, which was me, and this strange guy was sitting about 2 cm from the door to the ambulance. He said something again, but I didn't even listen to his words anymore, I was just careful when I walked by, that I wouldn't get hit or that something would poke me. I went to the doctor and the doctor asked who was screaming like that. I told him what it was about and he told me that I shouldn't pay attention to such people. He checked my hand and I went away. As I was leaving, the guy was talking loudly: "NOW GO. AND YOU HAVE FREE TIME, EXCELLENT HAHA” . And I walked away.
All this was very strange and my first encounter with such a sick person. ou could see on him that he really mean those things. The whole time I had a very bad feeling. The guy looked exactly like some kind of psychopath, like some serial killer who keeps the heads of his victims in the refrigerator so that he can feel dominance over them forever type shit and cant tell the difference between good and bad. I (27f) was brought up in a house with my brother (24m), my mum (47f) and dad (45m). When I was younger my parents decided to have 2 more children, 2 girls - now 12 and 10. I now also have my own children, 7f, 4m, and 2f, and am in a beautiful happy marriage.
A little back story, I was pretty much a scapegoat my whole life, my brother the golden child, let's just say none of us are on speaking terms with him anymore due to him always getting what he wanted when he was younger. As he grew and after the 2 younger of us were born, he started hearing more "no's", he didnt like that and after a lot of threats, holes in walls, drugs etc, I decided to cut all contact with him. He then decided to cut contact with our parents 🤷🏽♀️
Anyway, we recently found out that our 7yo has adhd, and our 4yo has adhd and asd. I also found symptoms in myself that made me question my brain, and got diagnosed with asd, adhd and cptsd (i dont remember my childhood from 5yo-13yo, but remember all the crap traumatic parts). Whilst we were getting our array of diagnoses my parents decided to go through their own processes with my sisters, still in the process, no diagnoses have been made. This is where it starts, the 12yo, I'll call her Stacy, she is me, I was her, she is the scapegoat, she gets the blame for everything, nothing she does is right, she doesn't get help, doesn't get hugs and kisses or love. I see the ptsd symptoms coming out in her and it hurts my heart, I want to take her, adopt her and run away with her. I give her the love she needs because i can see she doesnt get it from our parents, not gonna lie, she has her faults, we all do, we're only human, but compared to our sister and brother, she's amazing.
The 10yo, I'll call her Anna, she is horrible, she makes mean comments, she manipulates to get her own way, she falsely accuses people - and not of small things, she craves attention and loves to be in the centre, she hates when my 7yo has any sort of attention and will try her best to steal it, especially from our mum, it's like she knows how to hurt your feelings and will do it if you don't do what she wants, she's showed my 7yo inappropriate videos, one day I was looking after her because she was "sick" I was in the bathroom, heard my 4yo (who was also sick with whooping cough at the time), crying begging her to stop she didn't realise I had opened the door and caught her hitting him on the head with a pillow, I told her to stop and she did. Anyway she is always looking for approval especially from female adults, she is just mean, she doesnt do anything wrong, she gets coddled while Stacy gets the blame for everything, and gets punished for everything even if she didnt do anything. My parents do nothing, they don't explain to her what she's done is wrong or why it's wrong, they sit on their phones all day, everyday and just say "oh she just has autism", but it's not an excuse... we're really not dumb, you can teach us that it's not okay to do things. I know this is how they handle it because we live on the same property, in separate dwellings, and it's the same everyday pretty much, I try my best to keep separated from them, especially Anna because she is having a negative mental effect on our 7yo, but they come over uninvited and say "mum and dad are being boring, they're just on their phones like always". Everytime I go over they've either locked themselves in the room or are sitting on the couch looking at Facebook, and expect the kids to just watch TV all day, not doing anything. I just see the same cycle happening again, Anna turning out like our druggo brother, and Stacy ending up with CPTSD and wanting to run away.
Anna falsely accused myself of scratching her with a stick today, when I was nowhere near her, she put on a whole act, crying and everything. This isn't the first time this has happened, the first time was falsely accusing my husband of something similar, when I was with them and told the truth whilst my mum was on her side and was never there. Tonight, I got deathstared by my mum, usually its the silent treatment, but also got told "Anna feels like you treat Your son like he has autism but you don't treat her like she has autism", she hasn't been diagnosed either so we don't know if it really is autism, and I treat my son with respect because he treats me with respect, I treat him the way he treats me, with love and kindness (i told mum this in different words). There is no love, kindness or respect in Anna, and if there is you can't see it, it's like she demands respect but won't give it, to anyone at all. If she doesnt get her way, then all hell breaks loose.
So anyway I told my mum "i have autism too mum. you can't use autism as an excuse for the rest of her life. Females, especially where we live, will not tolerate these accusations and comments and she will get knocked out, instead of saying 'she has autistim' teach her what shes doing is wrong" all she said to that was "well, if that happens, that's a life lesson she has to learn" but I don't think it should get to that point? Just teach her while you can before you regret it?
Now i know no one is the same, i know no autistic brain is the same, i know we say inapproriate things and we dont know the meanings sometimes etc. But i dont think using it as an excuse is okay? Its as if they've got the idea of autism in their head and now they dont have to discipline or teach her whats right from wrong? Anyway, I'm always the bad guy according to my parents, or am I? You tell me, I dunno. I'm used to always getting the blame so I sometimes I wonder if I actually am the AH? 🤔
I love my siblings, all 3 of them. Regardless of what has happened between my brother and I, or my sisters and I, I will always love them. I miss my brother, when we wasn't intoxicated he was the best person ever, intoxication is his life now and he's not the person I used to know. I love my sisters dearly and I would do anything to save both from this cycle.

A little back story, I was pretty much a scapegoat my whole life, my brother the golden child, let's just say none of us are on speaking terms with him anymore due to him always getting what he wanted when he was younger. As he grew and after the 2 younger of us were born, he started hearing more "no's", he didnt like that and after a lot of threats, holes in walls, drugs etc, I decided to cut all contact with him. He then decided to cut contact with our parents 🤷🏽♀️
Anyway, we recently found out that our 7yo has adhd, and our 4yo has adhd and asd. I also found symptoms in myself that made me question my brain, and got diagnosed with asd, adhd and cptsd (i dont remember my childhood from 5yo-13yo, but remember all the crap traumatic parts). Whilst we were getting our array of diagnoses my parents decided to go through their own processes with my sisters, still in the process, no diagnoses have been made. This is where it starts, the 12yo, I'll call her Stacy, she is me, I was her, she is the scapegoat, she gets the blame for everything, nothing she does is right, she doesn't get help, doesn't get hugs and kisses or love. I see the ptsd symptoms coming out in her and it hurts my heart, I want to take her, adopt her and run away with her. I give her the love she needs because i can see she doesnt get it from our parents, not gonna lie, she has her faults, we all do, we're only human, but compared to our sister and brother, she's amazing.
The 10yo, I'll call her Anna, she is horrible, she makes mean comments, she manipulates to get her own way, she falsely accuses people - and not of small things, she craves attention and loves to be in the centre, she hates when my 7yo has any sort of attention and will try her best to steal it, especially from our mum, it's like she knows how to hurt your feelings and will do it if you don't do what she wants, she's showed my 7yo inappropriate videos, one day I was looking after her because she was "sick" I was in the bathroom, heard my 4yo (who was also sick with whooping cough at the time), crying begging her to stop she didn't realise I had opened the door and caught her hitting him on the head with a pillow, I told her to stop and she did. Anyway she is always looking for approval especially from female adults, she is just mean, she doesnt do anything wrong, she gets coddled while Stacy gets the blame for everything, and gets punished for everything even if she didnt do anything. My parents do nothing, they don't explain to her what she's done is wrong or why it's wrong, they sit on their phones all day, everyday and just say "oh she just has autism", but it's not an excuse... we're really not dumb, you can teach us that it's not okay to do things. I know this is how they handle it because we live on the same property, in separate dwellings, and it's the same everyday pretty much, I try my best to keep separated from them, especially Anna because she is having a negative mental effect on our 7yo, but they come over uninvited and say "mum and dad are being boring, they're just on their phones like always". Everytime I go over they've either locked themselves in the room or are sitting on the couch looking at Facebook, and expect the kids to just watch TV all day, not doing anything. I just see the same cycle happening again, Anna turning out like our druggo brother, and Stacy ending up with CPTSD and wanting to run away.

I had a huge crush on this guy. I got mixed signals from him so didn't know if he was interested at all. My therapist told me to talk to him and clear things out so i did. At first he asked for a week to think about it but at the end he said no and told me not to ask for the reason and he doesn't want to talk about it and it's a done deal. I tried my best to pretend everything was normal as hard and painful as it is, but today after seeing my friend - who i referred for the job- flirting with him for a couple days - after trying so hard to get over it, i asked her if they were dating. I clarified how it's none of my business and I'm just asking to deal with my own emotions. She ended up telling me he had an interest in her and she had said no because I'm her friend and how she doesn't want to do something like that. But their interactions show something else. Anyways as i said i know i have no rights to claim anything and that they are 2 adult people who have the freedom to make any decisions. But deep down, I'm crushed. I feel so much pain. I really liked him and cared for him and thought about how things could go between us, how much love and caring i could give him, and i feel so betrayed. I mean he could at least wait for a while for me to move on or even just discuss this with me. I'm not entitled to it. I just wish he was more considerate and also I'm so sad thinking I'd never find true mutual love, and how I'll end up dying alone just with my cats. I feel so sad and lonely rn and my heart is broken into a thousand pieces. He used to tell me how smart i am. Or how I'm an independent strong girl who is really rare to find so i thought he liked me and he valued those things in me. He didn't. He didn't like me back. He didn't care about any of the stuff he said and now I'm left with a broken heart and zero concentration to do my work. I don't know what to do. I'm desperate.

Anyways im 19 years old (F) and I only just recently lost my childhood dog of 12 years about a week ago. I loved that dog very much and he saw me through almost every single major part of my life, from elementary school, to middle, high and then to college. Unfortunately due to the type of dog he is, his breed is prone to skin and heart conditions. He had a stage 5 heart murmur and one night, he ended up passing away suddenly on my mom’s bed.
Im very grateful that my little guy got to pass away in a comfortable place with myself and my mom at his side. Even though the grief is eating me up inside, he didn’t suffer and even had a little bit of peanut butter before he went. But here is where the issue starts.
Ive never really been close to many members of my family but my aunt and her family was the exception to this. My aunt treated me well, she always acts kindly around me and is very nice whenever we come over to visit. She’s my godmother too so if something were to (god forbid) happen to my own mom or dad, I could rely on her to help. Well now that its been a week since the passing of my dog, I haven’t even gotten a text from her giving her condolences for my dog’s passing. Ive gotten more empathy from people here on Reddit and Instagram as well as irl and online friends but somehow my family couldn’t spare at least 10 seconds to text a simple “im sorry”?? It was eating me up inside and I got extremely angry. I felt lonely and forgotten about by people I believed I could trust so I went into my texts with my aunt and began typing a message. I wanted to chew her out but instead I wrote as dignified of a message as I possibly could. My aunt took the time to respond to my message to her, wishing her happy mother’s day but she didn’t even pause to acknowledge the pain I was in. My mom even let me know that my aunt knew my dog passed. I wrote that my aunt had broken my trust and that I feel forgotten about and ignored by my mom’s side of the family since my aunt, uncle and grandma didn’t even bother to send a text offering their condolences.
But then my mom ends up discovering that I sent the text. Apparently my aunt chose to send it to her and complain about how ‘strong’ I came off and whine about how she worked 24 hour shifts so she couldn’t text. I get it, work can be hard sometimes but it only takes 10 seconds to send a simple ‘im sorry’. My mom told me about and for some reason another wave of that grief came over me and I broke apart and started crying. My mom does believe that some stuff I should have maybe kept inside but she does agree that my family should have texted me. The people on my mom’s side of the family, especially my aunt and grandma have a history of neglecting the emotional needs of my mom to where she feels left out and now my mom expressed how upset it made her that I was now also being given a taste of that alienation.
But im conflicted. I don’t know whenever or not I should have just sucked it up and kept it in or if me snapping and getting outraged was justified. So, AITA?

My parents divorced when I was younger and I was basically separated from my mother. My father then passed away and I lived with my grandmother ever since. To be exact, I didn't grow up with my mother and was separated from her since I was 7 years old. My mother throughout those times fought for custody but was not able to get it (due to a corrupt system) and my mentally unstable grandmother took me under her care ever since. Many years later, I finally reunited with my mother when I was 16ish. I then had to go to college and left my hometown to somewhere very far away. When I was younger I wished to escape from my situation and had always wanted to move somewhere far away. During my time abroad, my grandmother passed away back home. I stopped talking to my cousin (who was like a sister to me) because of some conflict regarding heritage. And she cut me off, I wasn't able to contact her again now. So basically, most of the people I grew up with had died or abandoned me. Thankfully I still have my mom, who even though I didn't grow up with, still tried her best to show me her love. My feelings become very conflicted due to some new revelations about my relationship with my late grandmother which was rather abusive... I missed her deeply but my heart was so broken from what she did to me.

Hello I have an interest in electronics and enjoy repairing them or scraping them as a hobby. I am currently out of broken electronics to fix and was wondering if any of yall would like to donate unwanted stuff.
There are some things that i do not want for a few reasons; One i do not really want newer electronics as they are much harder to fix, the parts are harder to work with, and often use proprietary components making it hard to get useful parts from them. So please no phones, tablets, modern(after the 2000s) computers. Certain newer devices that are more interesting such as amps(tho idk why anyone would give an amp away) or really any industrial equipment.
What I do want: older electronics such as old radios/radio equipment, CRT monitors/TVs, old electrical equipment, any and all vacuum tube equipment or anything with nixi tubes.
Now you might be wondering what i will do with these items; I will first give them a good look over to see if its even worth repairing(I don’t want to spend tons of time and money repairing something thats not worth it.) then I will try to fix it and spend time troubleshooting, after its fixed or i have decided its way to much effort i will either keep it or if its worth any market value i might sell it.
If i decide to scrap a device then i will take it apart, take any useful components and recycle the rest. With the old components i will use them to make new things.
Dont worry all money made from this will go back into the hobby as its really expensive or more likely into a savings acc for a new computer for school.

My gf (24F) broke up with me (25M)a few days ago and I’ve been crying my eyes out. We still talk on the phone but not for long and she doesn’t say I love you back. She hasn’t told anyone we broke up. I know she needs space and she hasn’t said to stop contacting her. I can feel her love, she still loves me but doesn’t have the heart to completely stop all communications.
I know I’m not the best bf I can’t remember things but I also know I’m not the worst, I listen to her, spend so much time with her(i genuinely want to), support her, push her, hold her, feed her and just be present. My memory is not good I have to write down my passwords for anything on my phone(that’s how bad it is) and I write a lot but may have forgotten a few things in the conversation that lead to our break up. With all that I still do very much believe this can work, we communicate so well and we have the drive but sometimes we need a separation for a bit. Some little alone time may be good but too much of it and ppl just get comfortable with it.
She brought so much colour in my life and I will not lose someone who I know is really one of a kind. I have been giving her some space and allow her to be alone. But I think showing her how much im willing to fight for us also makes someone feel that love comfort her about us and our future.
I just need ideas on how to win her back, sending messages every now and then saying “how much I think of her, have a good day, eat something” sounds pretty lazy for me after all I would give her the world. I don’t have much time i have to leave for work for a few weeks and I’m worried that may be too late. I need ideas something to do, something to show how much I love her. Please help I can’t do this.

Why did you say we were in the wrong time of our lives, why did you want this to end so bad just to come back crying, absolutely mad at me, saying that i used you, that i take goodbyes so easily, meanwhile you knew i was absolutely broken inside? Your hot and cold behaviour, your mixed messages, your looking so distant. I was so much conditioned by your mood that it makes me crazy lol. My heart was shattered, we argued, you said so many bad things about me.
Now you're in my head all the time and i'm disgusted by it. Those few memories aren't sweet anymore, they fail to bring bittersweet joy in my daily life, just a lot of pain. I go from melancholy to sadness, loneliness, anger, frustration so fast that i feel on an never ending rollercoaster. I can't stop myself from thinking about the person i shared so much with in such a short period of time, the person that i tried to make feel understood and loved, the first person i was so comfortable to share my cringeworthy poems to. The person that sent all of that back to me in a bunch of painful words.

She had just gotten out of a really bad relationship and I had to study for my dental school admissions test. We would also be long distance, and I could sense how insecure she was in herself due to her past relationship, and she def needed time to be alone. I told her that, and she agreed. We agreed to try again after my Test, which would’ve been 3 months from then. Butttt then we eventually we kissed lol…
That led to us still talking and this was a topic of conversation like every couple of days. We would agree to not talk anymore and try again after my test, but then we would both fold and still talk. Winter break came around, and we said we’ll continue to talk and hang out until winter break ends. We’re with each other every night, she’s telling her friends about me and all her friends love me too. They all made an effort to meet me and they say I’m perfect for her. However, her ex would still hit her up, but she would show me everytime she rejected him so. Although, there was this one night they saw each other to talk and she said "i dont make any promises nothing wont happen btwn us" and that made me so scared, but nothing happened so ig its okay...??? Anyways, My hope was that by the time winter break ends, she’ll see we're good for each other and we can give it a chance, but she was still set on wanting to be single and heal from her last relationship, which I understand.
The night before winter break ended, I went over to her apartment. We basically did everything but have sex. She wanted to but I didn’t want her to get attached, and I didn’t wanna get attached myself so I told her we shouldn’t bc we were gonna be in no contact after this. She understood, but it was still one of the greatest nights of my life. I was finally with the girl I wanted to be with, and it just sucked we had to stop talking after this.
2 days after we're both back in school, she drunk texted me saying how much she missed me. So ofc we talked again that day. Next night, she drunk called me this time...She was talking about how i am her person, she sees herself falling in love with me and marrying me, and all this sorta stuff. She then told me "i dont think im good enough for you" this completely shattered my heart, no matter how much i told her thats not true and that shes perfect for me, she wouldnt agree. this confirmed that shes too insecure in herself to be in a relationship. After this, i wanted to talk to her sober about what she said, but she didnt want to. then she said we shouldnt wait for each other to try again after my test because she said she felt pressured to wait for me to be done...this made me so frustrated bc we agreed to try again every time we talked about this. Anyways, her bday was coming up, so i texted her friend to get her flowers on her actual bday and not tell her its from me (i had already gotten her flowers and a buncha gifts the night i went to her apartment) and she said she would. On her bday, i texted her and she just said "thanks" The combination of this and her bailing on the plan to try again after my test made me super frustrated. So that friend had asked me what happened btwn us and i kinda was in a rough place, so i told her that i dont think anything is ever gonna happen btwn us bc of the way things ended and all this tainted my image of her. I regret this so much. A couple weeks later, her friend texts me again to check in and i apologize to her friend about all the things i said, and i told the friend to tell her i am so sorry about it and i didnt mean any of it.
Okay, so throughout this semester, she texted me every now and then, wishing me happy bday and sometimes just asking me random stuff about school. After my test was done, which i did well on thankfully lol, she asked me how it went and i told her and stuff, but the convo never advanced. Now, I am stuck btwn wanting to ask her to hang out to try again or letting go of her and let fate bring us back together. Idk if she wants to hang out with me or not and its killing me. I feel like i completely ruined my chance with her bc of what i told her friend and its created a pit in my stomach. She def seems more confident and secure in herself bc shes finally posting on social media and stuff like that, which makes me so happy for her. Idk im just stuck. My fear is that she'll say no to hanging out, but i feel like if i never ask her then i'll never know. Like what if i ask her and shes willing to give it another chance, i wouldnt know if i didnt ask her ya know.
Tl; dr My overall question is: Do i let go of her and improve myself as much as possible and let destiny bring us back to each other like it did the first time, or make an effort to try again with her, with the fear of being rejected from the girl i've always wanted to be with?

I have a deep and hard to shake belief in my core that the majority of people I've met or known in the world offline don't like me. Even most people I've met online.
I'm not a bad person but I have intense emotions that I have struggled with. I've been to CBT and that has helped but I've gotten to the point I don't feel like it's worth it to try and make friends. It's too disheartening knowing I will do or be something that puts them off. I was badly bullied for more than half my life (I'm 36 now) and it's left a big trust issue in its path.
It's easier to be alone. But the thought of having nobody to know in my twilight years scares me. I keep picturing myself in a hospital bed as an old woman, nobody by my bedside to say goodbye and my heart breaks.
People like me and what I do from a distance. I don't know if it will ever change. I'm so tired of being stung by rejection and feeling so awkward around people.
As the years go by I notice I keep my distance even from online friends. When I'm close to someone I'm so scared of losing them that I sabotage myself or let myself fade away.
How do I get better? Am I too fundamentally broken?

Hello all I need advice, I feel blindsided. My husband of 16years informed me he feels like I'm not right for him at this stage in his life. We have 3 kids 12-8. At the time I was a straight a student, did my chores, held down a full-time job, ran track cross country and played volleyball. I wasn’t a bad kid. I’m 20 years old now. And I’m currently housing my 17-year-old brother. Just for reference, my brother had a car accident at 90 mph and received a major concussion and a broken shoulder. A week after the accident. My mom’s boyfriend of two years got into a physical altercation with him resulting in my brother is already concussed head getting hit on the door frame. He reacted and screamed. Your boyfriend just assaulted me. In the end, a span of a span of 20 minutes not even 20 minutes my mother chose her boyfriend over her 17 year old son. For context, I haven’t talk to my mother in years. Recently, my grandmother, who lives with my mom had a heart attack. Due to feelings of guilt because of her condition, I begin contact with my family again. For the past 11 years, my mother has been an alcoholic, who is also prescribed Xanax. Other than the obvious reason you’re not supposed to mix the two, she never has to deal with the pain she causes, because simply she doesn’t remember it. She is consistently chose alcohol over her family and her friends and her children. Which is why I remain no contact. Recently, my 17-year-old brother has been suffering from severe vomiting since the incident with Mom’s boyfriend. I had to beg her to take him to the hospital. It was my finals week, he’s a minor, and my name was not on the insurance card. She decided to convince the doctor that my brother was addicted to marijuana, and that was the cause for his symptoms. She brought him a folder “proving her case“. End result, my brother was discharged, and she felt validated for kicking out her 17-year-old son. Over the next few days, she spammed mine and my brother’s phone trying to prove to me that that was the problem and that he is manipulative and playing me. It was so severe. He had to block her number, and which she just made a new one to contact him. Resulting in him, making a new number to get away. Just recently she reached out to me looking for sympathy. Just recently she got diagnosed with sub ventricle tachycardia. Originally I ignored her, but then she sent the text again. I did do my own research on the topic, and while it is a health condition, you could be born with. It is triggered by alcohol, caffeine, and stress. This was our conversation AITAH? |
