Flat our we lost because of turnovers. We could have been up by 6 or 8 at half if it wasn't for the dozen turnovers. The rest of this is part rant, vent, and personal opinion/observation.
Cons first cuz this is a vent.
Kyle Anderson is worthless. He might get some steals and turnovers, but he can't do anything with them. Use Monte Morris or someone who acts as a second or third threat from the arc with edwards and Townes. Then they can't just double edwards all game.
Gobert never should have came back at all. Why was anyone thinking that would be a good idea. Has anyone ever been a new parent before? He took time to be there for the birth, which means he is there helping with the baby and getting maybe 4 hours of sleep a night. He isn't going to be 100% after that, and why risk it? Game 2 proved we didn't need him. Gobert needs rest and we need to win game 6, don't let him play. He had zero affect on Jakovic and can't hit free throws to save his sons life.
We put zero effort into stopping Jakovic tonight other then letting him walk all over Gobert. In games 1 and 2 we had constant pressure from an outside man assuring he didn't have time to lolligag and play with his feet. Someone would have been swiping at the ball taking it away while preventing a passing lane. Tonight we all stood around the arc waiting for passes that never came to double players that never needed it. When he had as many points at half as the rest of his team we should have come up with a plan for that.
Gordon seems practically useless other than someone who slams the boards, something we haven't been doing aggressively since game 2. Why don't I ever see more than 1, maybe 2 wolves attacking the boards. If we could stay more constituent with inside protection and blocking passing lanes it would solve both Gordon and Joker.
Defensively, while we looked good when attacking the ball, but we only looked 75%, no doubles, no crashing boards, no cutting off lanes or going for takeaways. Games 1 and 2 the best part of our defense was the takeaways, aggressive defense and effective offense. We haven't been playing that same level of aggressive defense since macdaniels got his 3rd foul 5 or 6 minutes into game 3.
Pros
Townes played much better, hopefully he plays like that on Thursday or were toast.
Most of our bench shot much better overall, we just didn't find enough opportunities and committed a lot of sloppy turn overs all game. Bad passes, rushed hero-like charges to the basket (Townes). The offense was most effective early on by moving the ball around and not forcing edwards to make plays but to find him open. It exposed the lack of movement in Denvers defense. They put up a good wall in the paint, but are not good at keeping up with where our guys are when everyone is moving around. This was also obvious in the first two games and something we have struggled with these last 3.
At times our defense was a thing of beauty again, and most of the game they kept us in it. We lost because of turnovers flat out. We lost the ball randomly so many times from mishandling and we can't afford to do that. At half they mentioned how we had 12 or 14 turnovers but were only down by 6. Had we not had so many turnovers we could have been up by 6 or more easily. Most turn overs came from one guy trying to make something our of nothing when he should have kept the ball moving. Something we showed we can do and did for the first 1/3rd of this game.
My opinion (stop here if you dgf)
We need to find a way to make edwards effective so Townes can play at a more relaxed pace like he did the first 1/4 of this game. We need to make them pay for doubling edwards. Use naz reid and your other guards to make 3 other threats at the arc for him to throw too. I feel like the best answer to joker is double him with Townes and Reid, they did fantastic in game 2 against him. And use NAW and Macdaniels to keep Murray ineffective while edards is keeping an eye on Gordon ready to at least box him out if needed or swing to the wing to cover from the double. That's what we did in game 2 and it obviously worked really really well. Besides that as long as the bench can shoot effectively I think we still have a chance to win this series.
TLDR: Turnovers is why we lost. Kyle Anderson sycks offensively and doesn't present tenough of a threat to be on the court, Morris would be better. Gobert should be sleeping I'm between feedings, not screwing this up for us. We didn't even try to figure out joker or Gordon by crashing the boards or causing any kind of interference. But, Townes did play better, and so did the bench, but too many turnovers didn't allow enough shots to take any kind of commanding lead. We know what we have to do and did it for awhile. Defense can play great but that doesn't matter if the offense keeps giving the ball back. All in all I still think we can win if we go back to what we were doing in game 2.

My WP deleted AP’s chats. He claims it is because -after years and lots of freaking talks- he realized it made me feel very bad (🙄). He didn’t tell me he did it, it just came out after a sort of argument we had.
Then, AP sent him a text, he showed me and immediatly deleted it in front of me. He didn’t block her number and didn’t tell her he’s not talking with her ever again. He just ignored.
Ok. I read a lot of their conversations the day I found out and confronted him. I read a lot more in the following years, while snooping into his phone. There are some things I have brought up and he “doesn’t remember,” so their past conversations would be very helpful to our case.
Also, I feel there’s something more he’s not telling me about why he stopped talking to her. I directly asked him and he says there’s nothing more. The thing is, this shit happened for about 3 years, it was a cycle and he suddenly, some time after she left the city, decides to cut contact with her AND DOESN’T TELL ME ANYTHING. I asked him why he didn’t mention the fact before and his answer was “because I don’t have to tell you these things” (🙄) he got upset, of course.
Things are going fine now but I get triggers. And it bothers me that he deleted everything. I want to be sure there’s nothing more he’s hidding.
Is there any way to recover deleted texts/chats in Whatsapp?

The house next to us (suburbia) is an asbestos building, been vacant for years after the overseas slumlord who owns it got a condemned notice.
I know he's a slumlord because he refused to do any maintenance or repairs, cut any of the overgrown tree branches or even mow the overgrown dead grass.
The last tenant was very sweet guy, but a prolific hoarder. Every square inch is full of junk.
Owner took forever to list the place and it was on sale forever, from the listing he was chasing the biggest payout he could get.
It sold around 6 months ago but so far it's remained as is. I contacted council to get the grass mowed as it was a fire hazard but that's all that's been done.
Is there a time limit where the house has to be demolished / fixed / hoarded stuff disposed, or can the new owners sit on it forever in that state.

Hi all need some advice, I M41 have been dating my girlfriend F43 for 6months now. In the start there were many red flags, mainly her anger. So, I was always under the impression that the animation of a dub is never edited, except maybe for censorship reasons, and that when dubbing an anime, the script is changed so that the language of the localization fits with the mouth movements of the characters. That way the animation doesn't need to be edited.
But I recently started watching the Medabots dub and I noticed that things had been changed from the original version. There were the usual censorship edits that were probably pretty common at the time, like cutting out certain scenes involving violence. But then I noticed other edits were done that I doubt had anything do to with censorship. One edit had a short 2 second clip cut out to make a joke work, and another edit actually added full on anime abridged style mouth movement to add a joke. I'm not complaining, I think the Medabots dub is amazing, and absolutely hilarious! It kinda gives me Ghost Stories vibes.
I guess my question is, is this/was this common? Or is Medabots a rare example of this happening?

I was first diagnosed with MDD when I was 13. It got easier as I got older but it was almost always there in some capacity. 2 years ago when I had my hormonal IUD removed, it got really bad. I couldn't get out of bed or shower, I was drinking constantly and I even relapsed with self-harm for the first time in 9 years. Thats when I found out I had PCOS. I started taking Spironolactone and poof, my depression disappeared. It was kind of miraculous actually. I lost 30 lbs in 2 months, I stopped drinking almost entirely, and I actually had energy.
Well the Spironolactone was causing me to bleed everyday. That plus the fact that my testosterone wasn't going down like it should have at my dose, my doctor decided to take me off of it for a few months (jan 1st -April 1st) so that they could measure my base hormones and metabolites. I warned them that I would get extremely depressed without the meds and they assured me it wouldn't be for that long.
Months later I finally take my hormone test. My depression is back with a vengeance at this point. I cant get out of bed, I've gained 20 lbs and I have even cut myself. All this to say, I am sinking and sinking fast. I meet with my doctor a month later to get my results and get on some meds. HE FORGOT ABOUT THE TEST ENTIRELY. When I reminded him he looked for 2 seconds, said he never received the results and to basically try again in a month. When I called the company that administered the test they said results were sent to him 3 weeks prior! I even asked him if I could take Spironolactone for the time being but he said I had to ask the pharmacy to request a refill (shocker there was no refill for it, it had to be a new prescription).
So now I am in limbo waiting another month in this hell, or waiting for this guy to actually give a fuck. I just feel so hopeless and dejected. I don't know what to do, I'm scared of my depression and I'm not sure I can do this for another month. I guess this is just me venting but if anyone has any advice, I'd appreciate it.

I just bought the Audeze Maxwell. Enjoying them for the most part so far. I wanted a headset that offered high quality audio, and so far, with custom EQ, these do the job.
My one and only issue with these headphones has to do with what I can only call "crackle." When audio from my PC cuts out entirely, the headset will ALWAYS conclude that ending with a "snap" sound. As you can imagine, discord calls, that sporatically have audio cutting in and out are nearly unbearable. This happens when I pause a youtube video too. The crackle isn't loud, its volume varies infact. It's gotten so annoying, that I'm always anticipating my friends sentences to end with that lovely "snap." It seems like this might just be the nature of the beast? Seems like the Planar Magnetic transducers may just make these snaping sounds..? I'm honestly considering refunding these headphones. Everything else about them is great, aside from how heavy they are, but thats about it. Do I have a defective unit? Anyone else have this snap/crackle issue?
Small note, I have sidetone turned off, it sounded awful. That was the first thing I turned off out of the box.

Hey everyone, I'm curious to hear people's take on this topic. I'm sure its been talked about before but I can't seem to find it specifically in this thread and so I wanted to check in.
What are people's thoughts on Sex/Masturbation/Porn in relation to their Queerness and their Catholic faith?
Is there absolutely no room/space for Porn when committing ourselves to Christ?
I ask because on one hand our Queer communities very heavily focuses on Sexuality and the physical act of sex. So much so we are incredibly sex positive, call for more support to sex workers, and really tap into freedom in regards to hook up culture, sex positivity, and a hard attack on sex shaming. I even came across a Queer Christian (Non-Catholic) take on this idea that Queer people are hyper sexual because we are so admonished for our rights to act on sex that in turn, by acting on it we're rebelling against repression and permitting ourselves the gift which God gave us.
On the Catholic side of things, we're basically taught that sex and sexuality is more in line with monogamy, marriage, and procreation and that anything outside of that is wrong and immoral.
I personally struggle with both sides of things. I'm an Gay male and Demisexual and I very heavily lean on romance and emotions over sex. I would 1000 % would rather hold hands and go on a romantic date with a man than hook up all day any day. I've always been in line with monogamy and am open to sex however only in a committed and monogamous relationship.
Sadly, I have not met the right man yet, maybe never will, and so direct physical sex has not been something I have experienced in a long time. The extent of my experience with sexuality in the past 10 years has been watching porn and having common kinks which I indulge in through porn but other than that I do not seek hook ups out.
Off late though I have been wondering about porn/masturbation/lust and just have felt a pull away from that too. My main inner dialogue has been that by watching porn , and with my fetishes, I seem to internally objectify other men and desire them in a way that doesn't make me feel good.
I try to remind myself that there's MORE to my queerness than just sex and however I can't seem to reconcile that by fully committing to Christ I am giving up on my queerness to an extent.
Just a few minutes before writing this, I was watching a Catholic Priest on Youtube who prays on different topics. The one I watched was a prayer to "Break contracts with satan". The priest talks about how the contracts can be formed inadvertently and during the prayer he asks us to pause and let whatever thought or message come through.
When I paused, the thought that organically came to me was "Masturbation" . When I analyzed it, I organically felt it was not the actual act of masturbation that was being brought up but the intentions lay behind the act ie; hyper fixating on men and in effect using their image as a means to an end which I fully agree isn't right. It dehumanizes them.
I feel that this is satan's entire goal, to dehumanize, objectify, and then toss away humans when we clearly are God's children and infinitely filled with his love and compassion.
Anyways, this sparked my question and makes me wonder where do I go from here?
I personally have cut down on masturbation and porn A LOT and feel quite good.
I just wonder however if this compromises my Queerness. I wonder if this makes me abnormal ? But also I don't think it does . I prayed to God and an internal revelation has been that he is preparing me , cleansing/purging me from old obsessive ways of operating so that when he does send me a partner one day, if he does , I will be ready and capable with my capacity to love instead of being "stunted" which porn seems to do.

Headphones - Audio Technica ATH-M50X
Hey all, sorry if this post becomes a jumble but I have been troubleshooting for a while and cant find and answer.
Earlier this morning, my audio was perfectly fine and dandy, and I left to run some errands and left my pc on for maybe 6 hours. When i come back, i am getting no audio in the left channel of my headphones.
First thing I tested was to unplug and replug them in to no avail. Then I tested if it was a headphone issue so i plugged them into my Nintendo switch and got perfect audio in both channels. Then i plugged them into my mic and I got audio out of both sides perfectly fine (but i could hear myself because of the mic) , so i worry its an issue with the audio port on my pc case.
I have tried to root around in the audio settings and make sure its all balanced and the left channel isn't turned down for some reason, but all seems normal there. While i was there though, i clicked the "Mono Audio" checkbox and it cut the audio completely to both sides; I have no idea what that entails.
These are only about 6 month old headphones and they have worked perfectly up until today.
Tried googling to no avail either, just old forums saying to check the balancing.
Any advice is greatly appreciated for i am but a pc noob still.

I grew up & lived with my mom until my elementary days while my dad is an OFW. Fast forward to today, my mom claims that she is a changed person, made better due to the teachings of a born again church. Ngayon, nasa 2nd husband na niya sya nakatira, magkalayo kami ng city. Palagi na siyang nag reconnect sa akin, clingy sa chat, gusto niya magkasama kami, palaging magbibisita siya sa akin, gusto niya akong ipagluto, magda drama kung hindi kami magkasama sa bday nya or mother's day, etc.

"Just wait, how lon…" Zantol started to say as a firm click was heard as Pir-4 pressed the button. In the following moment the entire ship shuddered as all power was lost. Moments later a deep drone could be felt.
"That shouldn't have taken so long to start," Dave remarked as all the screens and consoles lit back up, as the drone to fade away. Looking around dozens of new indicator lights and alarms were screaming across the cockpit, "Well that might be it, uhh…" Dave looked to Zanthol who was shocked at what just happened, and Pir-4 now floating stilly above the radio consul, "Zanthol please tell me that this is normal and that Pir is alright"
Zanthol taking moments to understand what happened, what all the new lights are for, and moments wonder what just happened.
“Wha…, what was that."
"Well, uh, that, was the distress call," Pausing for a moment to point at Pir-4 and to mute the alarms, "will he be ok?"
"Probably, but it is impossible to know without looking in his head"
"Why aren't you concerned? I mean, he could have just died."
"Why would I, it's just a machine, and all the data can be recovered."
Taking a deep breath, Dave considered the words that he just heard, "Zanthol? How do you classify a being as sentient?"
"We have a system, how do you classify things as sentient? If I know what you would use, then it would be easier for me to explain."
"I don't necessarily see why this is important, but the way that we had done this is though test, like the Turing test, have a judge have a conversation with a known sentient being and the one being tested. Another is to test the being's creativity, or even just comparing how close to the human brain the being's brain is."
"Those are all good way to determine if a being is sentient, but the reason that Pir was created was to get one step closer to win a galactic history changing prize, and I shouldn't tell you this, but humanity will find out regardless. This prize is from an automated system from nearly a million years ago, it was to autonomously scout and lightly terraform planets for life as it knows, and through, probably a problem with the replication program, it became sapient and though many more years it came to where it is now. Just barely sentient, enough for it to want to be a part of the community, and so the machine tried, until it came to the conclusion that it wasn't sentient enough to fit in," Sighing Zanthol took a deep breath and pointed to Pir-4, "It stopped sharing the planets it has visited, demanding that we make it fully sentient, to the point of the average sentient being, like you and me. To do so it made a prize, bring it a artificial being of synthetic mind that it deems as sentient. it has been almost 43,323 years by your calendar since the start of the competition."
"So you don't consider Pir a sentient being because a machine doesn't. That doesn't make sense, just because it doesn't shouldn't mean that you don't. Humanity has had less time free to think of what makes you, you. Because I think and therefore I am, should suffice for treating other being as sentient…"
Dave was cut off by the radio cracking back to life, "YOU, we do░▓░k▒w what yo░▒id bu░ we will have your he▒▓!" Just as abruptly it started it cut back out.
"They sound mad, as much as I would like to continue to argue, there are more concerning matters at the moment," Dave said as he took hold of the control sticks, with a lurch the ship once again started to move, "Since I don't like the silence I'll explain some things to you, this left stick moves the ship in x,y,z movement, or front, back, up, down, left, and right. The right stick adjusts the rotation," Dave gives both of the sticks a wiggle, causing the whole ship to shudder.
Zanthol, pulled Pir-4's helmet off, he started to check what happened to Pir-4. Looking to Dave again he sees him reach out slips on large gloves over his atmo-suit's gloves, once these are properly around his already gloved hands they constrict around them to now sit tightly around his hands. Then with a simple his the compartment filled with a thin fog, curiously Zanthol asked, "Is something wrong, and what's with the fog?"
"Take a look out the view screen, were getting close to your ship, but its getting hard to tell the distance without looking at the readout. So to get around that this ship uses a suite of holograms that are constructed by little low power lasers, and theses holograms use the cameras and computers to make a three dimensional representation of the environment."
"So why the haze?"
"It's so the lasers can be seen." as Dave talked, holograms of Zanthol's ship the Prospector's Pick, Helum station, and the various pirate vessels, leaving all that can't be seen by the cameras are blank. Reaching out with his gloved hands Dave grabbed the holograms of the Prospector's Pick and Zanthol's ship, strangely his hands didn't just pass through the holograms. Already anticipating the coming question Dave said, "The gloves that I just put on have a pneumatic force feed back system, strong enough to resist my movements, but not so much it can hurt me. If I move my hand though any of them it will respond as if it were an object floating in space that I just smacked. The system will interpret how the I move the holograms and do its best to replicate it in real life," Dave said, as he pushed the Prospector's Pick closer to Zanthol's ship. Zanthol could feel the ship accelerate toward his ship, "So, this makes it more intuitive for a human to operate this ship."
"Ok, so what are you doing now, are you going to get us out of here?"
"Well you said that, one all of Pir's spare parts are on your ship and that you have very classified things on it. Wouldn't it be a good idea to get it all before running?"

Looking at the consul a gauge was flashing.
"What's that?"
"That would be a temperate gauge, and uh it says that the hull is heating up. That shouldn't be happening,"
Thinking back Zanthol remembered how the pirates breached the air-lock realized what was causing the heating, "Dave, I think it maybe the pirates, to cut open the station like that," he points at the air-lock, "to cut through it as quickly as they did, they would have to have a weapons grade laser. We probably have only a minute before it starts cutting through the hull if you can keep them from focusing on the same spot."
"Ok, that shouldn't be too hard to mitigate," with a simple twist of the wrist Dave put the ship into a gentle spin, "That should do for now. Where is a good spot for a tow cable to be put on your ship?"
"I can already feel the rising temperature rising, and it's only getting faster. If you can't do anything about it then we're probably dead."
The gauge, now entering the red, "I hear you, and I'll handle this," Dave replied turning his ship to face the pirates, "Do you know why Tungsten Carbide is such a good marital for machine tools?"
Starting to send the ship into the pirates, "It's because it harder then almost all other mettles, and do you know where the largest single piece of Tungsten Carbide is? Well, its on this ship, initially meant to skewer asteroids, but we'll see how good it is at skewering ships, and it better be, or else," sighing, Dave continued, "We're probably dead."
"That sounds insane, but probably the only thing that we can do, and even then, there are still three other in the fleet."
Suddenly, static filed the coms gradually coming clearer until a human voice could be heard, "Prospector's Pick, hold tight, help is on the way, this is the Barnard's star Battle group B3, ETA 3 minutes. just hold tight, help is on the way."
By this moment Dave's ship was careening toward the pirates, the temperature sky rocketing. The ship struggling to cool it self with the radiators turning a dull red with the heat their absorbing, struggling to dissipate the building heat.
With a, shearing, screeching, screaming, sound the spike tore into the pirate ship.
"Woooooooooooooowoh!! HELL YEAH! That will never get old no mater what the target is." Dave said with a brimming smile. "Now its getting hot in here, so I'll also show you how we cool our ships in emergencies." pressing a combination of buttons on the the consul, a hiss of cool air filled the cockpit. The hologram also showed the radiators unlatch and start floating away from the ship.
"Dave why are you jettisoning the radiators, they're needed to cool the ship."
"Yes, but that's part of the design that someone else made, and was much smarter then I am. Its going to be replaced with spares."
One of the rows of boxes moved to the place that the radiators once were, and proceeded to unfold and turn into new radiators, with this the temperature gauge visibly and quickly dropped back down to it's regular position, and the new radiators already starting to show their thermal saturation. Then the screens flashed a notification…

This started to become more disconnected and scattered toward the end, but I was just having a hard time finding a way to connect it all. I also wanted to make each chapter a bit longer, so that's why this took so long, and in all fairness I don't think I'll be writing them to be so long its just not what I'm good with.
It has almost been half a year since I randomly thought of the idea for this at a new years party, anyways here's a fun fact, I am horrible at coming up with names, so to mitigate this I have turned to use the Periotic table and names of chemicals (and/or overly common names). The most obvious of them are Dave's last name Coper most clearly a slight mis spelling of Copper, Helum Station is just a variation of Helium, (spoiler regarding Pir-4)and Pir is a mis spelled abbreviation of Periotic and 4 corresponds to Beryllium the main component in his computers and meant to reference how hard for the researchers to make a body compatible with a inorganic brain, and to my knowledge Beryllium is wildly deadly and destructive to carbon based organic chemistry.

Hi all! Lately I've been struggling a lot with mustering up the spoons to deal with work and health and family, and my eating habits have absolutely taken a hit. I keep eating just bread and butter, or crackers, or protein bars, or if I'm really feeling energetic and overachiever-y, boil some pasta or make a pb sandwich.
I definitely need more veggies and feel better when eating more. I love the taste of pretty much every roasted veggie, stewed veggie, curried veggie, whatever hot-cooked form. Problem is, I hate prepping fresh veggies (washing, drying, cutting, oil-ing, cleaning up, ugh) and also get unnecessarily stressed about using them all before they go bad. (They inevitably go bad and then I get so grossed out by the slime/gunk I have to clean out that I get turned off veggies for a while.)
Any tips for meals and snacks to get veggies in, aside from like carrots/celery and dip/hummus? Ideally shelf-stable ideas would be awesome. Been thinking about trying some greens powders or greens gummies...

Growing up, I've often wondered about the influence my parents' marriage has on my views towards tying the knot. On one hand, seeing their enduring love and partnership is incredibly inspiring. It's like having front-row seats to a lifelong romance movie. But on the flip side, witnessing their struggles and disagreements makes me question if I'm cut out for the whole "forever" thing.

When, in either series, were we presented with any information that'd suggest that as the only reasonable course? I can see why Shepherd would want the jumper back. and I could accept "Ford abandoned the jumper because he was high". But I can't come up with a reason (presented) that both of them would expect it to be the only path.
Jumpers, from the series, seem to help obscure where you dialed (take your dhd with you), provide near unbeatable stealth, and don't seem to run out of power on human timescales. Finally, in Pegasus, they eliminate the risk of accidentally stepping out through a space gate. It seems Ford should have been off living #spacevanlife, rather than camping in trees and caves.

I have a chronic issue of letting minor, sometimes inconsequential mistakes ruin my day.
For example, yesterday I was strapped for time, and I had to do the dishes at like 12 am. I tried my damndest to be quiet, but my roommate was woken up and told me to cut it out. The interaction lasted maybe only 15 seconds, but it’s still eating at me. I spiraled. I kept insulting myself at the fact that I couldn’t wait until morning and try and do dishes before work, and that I’m a selfish piece of shit.
That’s just one example of a larger problem. Yes, this time it was a real mistake that inconvenienced someone. But sometimes it’ll be me mistakingly using the wrong tone and confusing someone over text. Sometimes it’ll be slightly slower traffic keeping me from getting to work. Things that don’t really ruin anyone’s day except for mine, only because I allow it.
Is there any way I can not give these emotions power over my whole day?
