I'm really hoping I'm not the only one, but I got the Linux version of mod manager 2, and it made a link between the game and mod manager so that when I launch it from Steam it opens mod manager. But now the game wants to update and I stopped it before it was done. I'm not really sure if I can cancel it because all I seem to be able to do is take it off the queue. But when I try to launch mod manager.exe from the specific mod manager file that I have for Fallout 4 it says it can't find the instance and wants me to make a new portable instance. And if I try to launch f4se loader exe it says it can't find fallout4.exe.
Has anyone else had this happen? Has anyone been able to resolve it by canceling the download somehow or finding a different way to launch MO? Please help me guys I spent soo long modding this game and soo long playing and it really sucks I keep having to stop playing to figure out how to even launch it

I'm not sure what caused this as I've never tinkered with the bios and the most "modding" I've done to my laptop is undervolting (though funnily enough I only started about a week before this happened), which every guide says is safe on modern laptops.
After last shutting down my slim 7 it does not boot, only keyboard and fans go on. Display stays completely off with no logo, but I can switch the keyboard lighting with fn+spacebar. The fans will go off a few seconds after it starts with keyboard light still on. Maybe a minute will pass then the fans will kick back on and will continue for about 5 minutes then the laptop goes off for a few seconds then restarts this process perpetually.
Not sure what caused it. I have never done any tinkering in the bios. The most "modding" I've done is undervolting the GPU and installing Windows Subsystem Linux. I just shut down my laptop at a totally ordinary time using it after browsing the web.
I have tried all the most recommend fixes: external display, power button for 60s, the same with battery and cmos unplugged etc. Nothing.
Sending it for service will be awful as I bought it in the US but am in Africa so the official support is terrible and I will have pay hundreds of dollars + wait months for it to be fixed.
The last thing I want to try is a USB bios recovery I saw (https://github.com/nonkerdoob/SmokelessCPU-Guides/blob/main/Guides/BIOS/BIOS_CRISIS.md) since it says it might work of you can interact with your keyboard rgb. The problem is I only have access to one other windows laptop which is older and for whatever reason the innoextract.exe does nothing when I try to drop the bios.exe on it. No folder is created so I cannot move it past that step.
I would be so grateful if someone could do this for me and send me the crisis file so I can try one last thing before I believe that I cannot self salvage the laptop and send it for service.

I downloaded the game and it works without mods, but when I try launching it from doweser with mods it doesn't work, mods don't work either when not launching from exe. I got the mods from paradox plaza. The error I get it like " The game appears to have crashed or terminated expectantly. Please help Im desperate to do a paradox mega campaign with timeline extender and invictus.

I have a suspion that its the legacy of the dragonborn but I'm not entirely sure I have no idea what it is also lotdb started playing dungeon music after I did the robbery quest which usually happens after completing it I pulled my load order from loot so maybe one of yall will have the answer also I tried the music removal command but it persists I don't mind lotdb interior music messed up but hearing solstheim music on a loop in regular skyrim is annoying especially the same song over and over again the only thing I did was add community shaders recently for parallax heres my load order

Had to push back my start date back a week due to some medical issues I was having, namely and TMI but a violent skin infection I had to be hospitalized for and that was passed off through multiple doctors until finally seeing a Derma I could barely afford to get on some meds and heal up to start.
Only to now be told after asking and being assured it would be fine that because I have a recheck date for this doctor for my lab results I'm awaiting that I won't be able to start/won't be starting. So I'm sitting there this morning clocked in with all my equipment only to have my work email deleted and told this last minute and that they won't be able to accommodate me taking one day off in the next two weeks for this recheck so I'm not violently ill/in severe pain (it genuinely reached a point where I was having dark thoughts because I couldn't afford medical assistance).
I was counting on this job and needed a remote role and now I have absolutely no clue what to do, they were already paying bare minimum wage for a role I was overqualified for and I took it because I couldn't find anything else. So now I'm staring down the barrel of homelessness and not being able to feed my stray cat because I dared to get sick in America and can't even find gig work in my area because literally all of them are waiting listed and I don't have interviews until next week for anything.
Literally anything helps that can get my poor kitty fed and help me keep up with bills or at least groceries while I'm racing to find another job that doesn't randomly refuse to employ me.
(Can provide proof of all claims including pics of how bad my skin condition got and that the money is spent appropriately to actually assist and fix this situation.)

Trying to download Fallout Fusion - one of the simplest Vanilla+ modlists, and Wabbajack is telling me that files are missing as a result of missing DLC, or I have a modded installation.
However, I have all the DLCs, and I also tried to install after downloading Bethesda's crappy High Res texture pack, to no success.
The errors seemed to be caused by missing native texture and .ini files.
Are these being caused by the recent updates, or am I just missing something really obvious?
EDIT: Just noticed that Bethesda patched the game today, I imagine that's got something to do with it, but I attempted this before today's update but after the Next Gen update, and still got the texture.ba2 errors.

This post outlines my exact problem with the game, but its for ASE. I've tried switching proton versions from experimental down to 8.0-5 and also playing around with mod configurations etc.

To me it seems as if this has been kicked off by a software error since both my storage and RAM is good, and this happens consistently with this game in particular. Around line 19500 is where it starts in the log

I did not play for ages and am now unable to start the game from steam, the only workaround is to start it with -SteamMM but then i am not able to find lobbies or play with friends, even if they start the game with -SteamMM as well.
i already uninstalled the game and deleted the complete folder (mods) but it seems like there must be some remains somwhere else.
does anyone have a solution for this?
PS: it also does now wite a crashlog in appdata
PS2: But i do have an appcrash in evetviewer, but ntdll.dll could by everything and i do not think it is an issue with my system as the game runs with -SteamMM
