Our (22f,23m) wedding is in about 2 weeks. We've been living together for several years and have a fully furnished home. We have received gifts from about 20% of our guests. On our wedding website + verbally communicated to friends we've told people..
-gifts are not required or expected, but are appreciated
-if you would like to give a gift, we would really appreciate a donation to our honeymoon fund
-our home is very full, but if you would prefer to give a physical item rather than a donation to our honeymoon we have a registry (registry includes small and cheap items under $30 like measuring cups and bowls)
Now that the wedding is getting closer, I've been told that one of our guests plans on getting us several large furniture items. We don't know them super well and they've never been to our house. We have no furniture on the registry. I only know this because they asked another guest for our address and told them what it was for. We just got new furniture this year , have 0 room for anything, and they have no clue what our style is.
Additionally, a few guests have told me explicitly that they aren't giving us anything because they're flying out to see us at the wedding and we aren't paying for their hotels or transportation. I told them that it is totally fine and that we didn't expect gifts, we're just happy to get to see them, but it was super awkward and brought up out of nowhere in a text message.
A majority of the guests attending are from my husband's side and some of the gifts we have received are just for him. They're his interests and hobbies and weren't on the registry. When I've been to weddings, I was always taught that gifts and cards are for the couple, not just one of the people. It has been kind of awkward getting gifts and cards just for my husband from people we both know.
I told some of my family members how I was feeling and they told me that are lucky to get anything in the first place and to just focus on the wedding. I told them I feel upset because we haven't been listened to and some of the gifts, like the furniture, are causing more stress than happy feelings.

Asking for legal advice from the good people of Reddit, as I am out of options at this point. I have court this afternoon.
I’ve filed a restraining order against my partner (who I share a child with, we are attempting to find a 50/50 schedule in a separate case). Restraining order is an anti-harassment order that outlines stalking behaviors.
As a backstory, my partner threatened my family to me prior to breaking up. I’ve submitted text messages that support this, as well as multiple screenshots wherein I ask him to leave my family alone. Since I’ve left he has contacted me and my family ad nauseum. My father and one grandmother respond cordially, and partner has made a point to show up wherever they are and learn their schedules (walking by my grandparents’ where I frequent, looking in their windows (police report filed, not submitted to courts), bringing flowers to my other grandmother after she had cancer removal surgery (it did not go well, nor did she want visitors), calling my father everyday and showing up to his workplace). While all of these interactions appear cordial and respectful, I know that these have the undertone of his previous threat. This morning in court I requested a re-issuance of a temporary order to seek counsel and amend-refile this order to make it no contact. Partner’s lawyer stated that partner had submitted evidence that “proves I’m lying” about partner harassing myself or family members, and my motion for a continuance was denied. I have not a clue what I’m doing, what to say, or what to expect.

I am so confused right now.
I (17f), have a best friend, we'll call her B(17f). We became good friends really quickly and it has just been a year of being close to one other. It all started when we had a free period in school and talked about our family and stuff for the whole time without hesitation. From then on we were inseparable. She means so much to me, really. I was soo lonely before her, never had anybody to talk to or just be with and she changed it so I'm really indebted to her for that.
We have just given 12th boads this year (its bacically final exams of 12 standard which is on a all india bases). During the exam month maybe after 2 of the exams I got to know that my grandmother passed away. It was really shocking because even though she was in the hospital, she was making speedy recovery. The day she got discharged from the hospital, we lost her on the way home.
I wasn't really close to her but this is my grandmother we're talking about. I was really disturbed after hearing this, especially because I hadn't met her for years, neither I was able to bid her a last goodbye. I wasn't even able to participate in the rituals for her funeral.
The day I got this news I told B. I told her that my grandmother died. She said it's okay, and that even though my grandmother wasn't nice it's hard to loose a grand parent and that I should focus on my studies. This is badically all that she said. I had talked to her about my grand mother and told her some questionable things that she has done, so maybe she thought that I wasn't affected with her death but idk why I expected her to console me, to just be there for me. i didn't even get are you OK text from her.
The next day she was texting me about how there is this person she texted on reddit who turned out to be weird. That's what she asked me the next day after my grandmother just died. She never asked me how I was, never. I was not as responsive as usually was but that was because i was bloody alone. My parents had all gone to the hometown for the funeral and i was at my aunt's house because i could'nt leave the exams. I was so alone and not even once she asked me how i was. I even told her after a few days that i am not okay and that it really hurt when she started taliking about a guy to me after i told her my grandmother just passed. To that she replied that I was being cold so she thought she should give me some time and also she was sick with a throat infection do she couldn't wait for me to talk.
That really hurt. I know she was unwell and it must be difficult for her to think about other stuff while being in sickand I also understand that I am not a baby and that I shouldn't expect people to coddle me, but that really hurt. She did apologise and said that she didn't expect that I would be affected by this. But then went on as if it's all normal from the other day. After this incident, I tried to just forget it and move past it, but everything that she did just infuriated me. It never felt like she was sorry, even after she said it. This has just made me feel like she doesn't care at all. She is recently started talking to this guy on telegram. And all we talk about is him. "Should I send him this?" Or " he send me this message what should I reply with" something or the other about him. She tells me that she talked to him for hours one day but she couldn't even txt me once.
I was really trying to just forget it, really but I just felt so off. It's like I have to work to make things no longer awkward between us when she was the one that hurt me. It still infuriates me. Every conversation is about her, how her father demotivates her or how her grandma did this or something something along those lines. I have started to feel as if she doesn't know anything about me. Sometimes it's like she doesn't care at all about me.
I know I'm no angle myself. But when I did something wrong I know that I tried to change that about myself, tried to mend things (atleast in my head i was trying, idk if it was noticeable).
I know her life is harder than me, she has gone through more stuff than I have, but sometimes is it too much to expect someone to just listen and tell you that you aren't being dramatic Or hell's sake tell you that you are being dramatic rather that telling them that worse happened with them?
I am so just frustrated right now. We were on a meet and she started to talk to that same telegram guy in the meet. I have done this too but in my head it's like "i did it only once and then apologised for it, and its not like i always talk about someone else while we are together."
I don't know what to do. I really wanted to tell her that I am hurt but it feels like it has been to long and I shouldn't hold on to something that happened a month ago. I really don't want to loose her. She is that only friend that I have and we have a great friendship apart from some things. Idk if what I feel is justified or if i'm being dramatic and entitled, expecting too much from people Please be completely honest and tell me if I'm wrong so that i can try to better myself or how I should handle this situation. Any advice for this pety situation is welcomed.

The Magic Eraser tools in Google Photos are impressive when used well, and I love the way Messages can create "Photomoji" by removing the background of an image very quickly.
I would love to use this function as an image editing tool, but the Photomoji are only for text messages. So you can text yourself the PNG image, but it's very small compared to the original.
The Magic Eraser in the Photos app can only seem to remove objects in the background and fill in the space with AI-generated filler. I don't see a way to remove the background entirely and create transparency.
The tools are clearly capable of what I'm after, but I don't see a way to do this. Any creative workarounds?

So you thought that working for one of these companies sounded pretty good in the beginning right? Then as time went on you probably started realizing that what ever platform you were booked up with (for me it's (homeaglow) then you probably started questioning some of their ways of doing things. Which probably made you go wait the f*ck a minute....wtf?!?! If you're anything like me then you probably went on to try to find some way of getting in touch with the company on the phone... Only to realize that there is no number for them. Am i right??? Add time went on and you realized more and more shady things the company was doing, and your frustration grew into anger, and your anger into rage, then I'm guessing you did one of two things. Either you quit doing that work for what ever company you were booked up with or like me, you made it a mission to figure out what the company was about and how you could legally and non violently have the company not only take responsibility for their awful ways of doing business, but to correct all the wrong they have done. For those of you who are like me, and even for those who just walked away but now after reading this post have become angry about it all over again, look no further for the solution. I have done quite s but of research about this company. I am currently one in a group of people that are pay of a class action law suit against homeaglow and the other companies. And I am like many of you who became so pissed by being screwed over and over and over again and never getting anything more than an automated response as an answer to any complaint. But then it happened....... After several emails and text messages and research and trying and trying and trying to find some kind of way of talking to someone about all the crap the company has been doing........ I got a phone call. It was from the company and they said they were calling me because "they understood I had some concerns with some things". SOME CONCERNS??? SOME THINGS!?!?!? They didn't even know how bag of a day they were about to have.
But first, let me ask you all this question... Tell me your stories of how any of these companies pissed you off so bad that you just noped out. And i will explain in my next post part one of the journey down the rabbit hole that these companies will take you off you let them.

Basically the title. Sunday morning I woke up from a horribly realistic dream that my mother died. Couldn’t stop crying and I felt really tearful throughout the day. I currently live abroad and I haven’t seen my mom since December, and I just vividly remember the feeling in the dream of wanting to text her and knowing she wouldn’t respond. I(M19) broke up with my ex(F19) one year ago. I broke up with her because I was in a very toxic relationship and we had long distance (she used to live 500km from my city). She used to always be rough with me because I didn’t have enough money to spend on her. For example( one day when i went to her and didn’t buy her flowers she told me to send her the money for the flowers 30£ on PayPal). She used to stay on tinder (she didn’t know that I had access to her phone and saw it) and even went to the club with her uni group and a week later got “the kissing disease”. She was always telling that she didn’t kiss anybody even if doctors say that you can get this disease only by kissing someone. During the winter break she had to come to my city and told me to buy her the ticket(60£). After I told her many times that I don’t have the money, she told me “if you’ll want me near, you’ll find the money” and she was right, even though I was in the last year of high school, I used to work on Saturdays and payed her train ticket. Every time when I went to her, I had to pay both the train ticket and the hotel room because her sister wouldn’t let me sleep in their apartment even though they had 2 bedrooms. At the same time, my family let her sleep in our apartment when she came to my city. So I broke up with her before summer, when she didn’t want to pay 40%(she didn’t even want to ask her family if they can or cannot pay it) of the total sum of our trip to Spain. She told me that she regrets being in a relationship with me, blocked me and I thought at the moment that she broke up with me. The next day, she called me and I asked her who will initiate (I thought it was a call to break up officially). She started screaming through the phone that I m a psycho and that it was me the one who wanted to breakup. I felt so guilty that the next month I was everyday crying. Finally I decided to call her to have a normal conversation about what happened, we clarified everything. One month later, after a terrorist attack near my city, she texted me and asked how am I doing and sent a picture with us, telling that we’re so cute together. I said that it was true. She didn’t apologize, didn’t even say anything that she would like to get back together.
After this we didn’t talk for the entire year but I was feeling very sad the whole year because when I broke up with her, I didn’t tell her about tinder(saw 2 chats with 2 dudes in her phone) or about what happened in the club that night.
After one year, I called her and very respectfully said that I really needed answers in order to obtain closure. She told me that she was only “communicating” on tinder (I think it’s a lie) and totally refused to recognize that she cheated on me that night in the club. After this, she told me that she has to go and that if I want to continue talking, we can talk in the evening . 20 minutes after this short call I wrote her that I was thankful for her answers but I didn’t think it would be right for us to continue talking. She responded that I shall never get in touch with her ever again in order to accuse her of something that happened a year ago. One week later I called her again in order to excuse myself for the fact that I reached out to her. She didn’t respond and at that moment I understood that she restricted me on insta . I sent her the message that I was sorry. My friends told me that I was a piece of shit for doing this.

Would like to not use liquid cooling unless it is necessary. Don't like the idea of liquid with electronics. Kind of confused on fan placement. Also, whatever type of case would be easiest to change/upgrade in the future and is good for airflow/cooling. Looks aren't a factor.

This will be my first PC built in 20+ years. Primarily a console gamer but looking to get a PC over a PS5 and maybe transition fully to PC by next console generation. PC will be used on a TV with controller, acting as a console basically. Will be wired ethernet, no need for wifi. Prefer wired for everything over wireless.

For context me and my boyfriend have been dating for 5 months now and it’s a long distance relationship. He never texts me ,like i probably get only about three messages the whole day, he never have a conversation with me. Whenever i tell him that im sad he doesn’t care. He never asks to facetime me. He only double text when he’s “in the mood”. We would go a whole day without talking and he wouldn’t care.
