I used to believe the bulk of the reductive gender wars conversations were because of Ish, but in actuality a lot of them stems from Mel.
I’ve noticed that a lot of the time when the guys have an opinion/critique/advice etc about Mel (Not women as a whole, but Mel directly), she somehow reverses it on Men as a whole. Similar to what these weird incel niggas do to women. I think all the guys catch it & let it slide, but Ish for whatever reason has to engage.

Another example, they were talking about Mel having low tolerance in relationships and general self development. Her initial response was that real self development is mainly only pushed on women, for men its just go make more money.

Everyone has flaws and imperfections, either physically or personality wise.
Don’t get hung up on things about yourself which may be unalterable.
Don’t always be trying to overtly hide such flaws. The insecurity shown when trying to hide a fault often comes off as being way less attractive than the actual fault itself.
Obsessively trying to hide a fault highlights a person’s insecurity and shows low self-confidence.
In the cases where the fault could potentially have an impact on your performance, it’s often much more effective to directly address the issue upfront, and call out the elephant in the room as it were.
But for the scenarios where the fault is inconsequential, you could choose to address it instead in a more nonchalant manner. If the fault does not matter to you, why should it matter to other people?
You can joke about your flaws, but do not do so in a self-deprecating kind of way. If you joke about yourself in a self-deprecating kind of way, then you are probably hoping that people will laugh with you instead of just at you. And while perhaps funny, this does not make you look attractive.
However, being able to openly joke about yourself in such a way that you are not simply searching for approval from others, shows that you are truly comfortable with who you are.
You can also re-frame a fault as a positive.
Being overly defensive or qualifying oneself let’s someone know that they have successfully accomplished getting under your skin, which may have been their very intention. Completely ignoring such remarks or either responding nonchalantly or with a joke is often a much better response.
There are actually many benefits to having flaws:
When you accept a flaw and remain confident despite it, more attraction and/or respect can be generated than if you lacked the so called flaw altogether.
Especially if the flaw is physical. Internal confidence is a way more attractive than some external superficial flaw.
If the flaw is blatantly obvious, and yet you conduct yourself as if it has no drastic effect on your self-worth, it shows great self-confidence.
Similarly, if others try to actively attack you over a flaw, but you remain nonreactive, confident and well-grounded despite their provocations, you can come off looking even better than before.
Faults can also allow other people to find you more accessible and relatable. People can’t identify and connect well with others who appear perfect.
And finally, learning to overcome certain shortcoming in life is what allows you to build resourcefulness, character and work ethic.

It didn’t use to be like this.

Of course I can. It’s been in my life since I was like six or something, when Dad brought home that used computer with all the Dobrand games! But I didn’t pay much attention to it back then…

“That’s not how I remember it. We used to spend entire afternoons playing with the Encyclopedia, and trying out those games we barely understood. Maybe going into the Cartoon Central website too, even if we couldn’t read very well. Face it, we’ve always been addicted to distractions…”

Ok, maybe a little, but–

“And even before we started to use the internet more seriously, we’ve never been very into sleeping at all. Remember how we used to check the channels back then? Zapping and looking for stuff on the TV? Back then everything was so scary and novel at these hours… Now it feels just like a routine. We’ve always been night owls.”

Frowning and feeling the voice creeping on me more than usual, I finally close the game and my computer, standing up and turning on the lights to look at my room. The floor is still filthy, the plates are still scattered about… opening my closet, I not only see what remains of my clean clothes and the old montgomery hanging, but also the old bamboo blade I used to train with.

“Yeah. Remember that? How everyone looks for a local sport to practice and you chose fucking kendo? Not sure if that was just the weaboo in you, or you are just that pretentious.”

I pick up the long stick and take a look at it from the sides. Four bamboo sticks, held together tightly by leather straps and string. It’s elegant in its simplicity, firm enough to hurt a little when hit by it, but not strong enough to really harm, mostly thanks to the white leather covering its tip. The handle has the dark stains of sweat coming from the months of use.

“Before you left it incomplete, like everything in your life.”

Sigh.

I put the blade back in the closet and then turn around, grabbing the many plates and cups that were piling up in the room and walking the dark way over to the kitchen to clean them up.

“Cleaning plates in the middle of the night. That’s the kind of stuff Venus did back when she was here, just to call your attention.”

Ignoring this annoying voice is getting harder… I am tempted to pick up the S.O.S. pill, but if I do that I can say goodbye to my agency for the entire night and maybe even a few hours after waking up. Urgh.

“Guess you’re stuck with me, huh?”

Biting my lower lip, I try to focus on the task at hand, cleaning each plate as carefully as I can and trying to ignore the feeling of grease building up on my hands. Saints above, it is so disgusting! I can’t stand it, really. But if I keep letting the plates stack up, I’ll never do it.

“Look at you trying to be responsible. So silly. You’ll just let them stack up again soon enough.”

“What matters is that you are trying your best.”

Ah, there She is. Still talking from the corner of the room… Her kindness has always felt fabricated to me. Fake.

The glugging of the drain interrupts me before I can start arguing again. With a heavy sigh, I let the water run away to clean my hands for a moment, and then, now that everything is clean and in place, I close it and walk back to my cave and take a seat back beside the window, opening the blinds just to see the darkness of a misty winter night in Saüle.

A part of me is relieved the guy is worried about me… but then, the suspicions arise. What if this guy is working with the mods? Or worse, with the cloaks! Hi all,
So the backstory to this is, we have a limit of 50GB for our users mailboxes and a few users are hitting that limit. We are not going to increase to limit.
Instead of manually going through years if emails and deleting old unwanted emails I have created a script that I want to run in an Azure Automation Runbook.
This script uses Microsoft Graph API that goes through a specific users mailbox, finds any emails that have attachments over 3MB and before a certain date, then remove the attachments from the email. There is also a functionality that it outputs what emails are removed to the users Microsoft list.
The issue is, the script in the Automation Runbook runs for about 10-15 minutes, removes attachments but then just stops. No errors or warnings. When I run the script manually it gets stuck when it gets to the users Inbox.

So, I (32F) know they say it’s safe to continue any exercise you were doing pre-pregnancy and not to start anything new once you’re pregnant. But, I was almost completely sedentary before pregnancy. I would go on leisurely walks maybe 3-4 times a week. Went to the gym here and there, but nothing very consistently. But that was it. No weights or any real cardio. My first pregnancy, L&D, and postpartum were very hard for me because I was not physically active for the most part. So I decided I’d start going to the gym. I’m a former athlete—played soccer and basketball all growing up, pick up games here and there as an adult, and there was a period during college where I was weightlifting consistently. So while I’m no stranger to workouts, I’m also no spring chicken. A week ago, at 5w+0d, I signed up for a Bodypump workout class at our local YMCA. It’s low weights and high reps. Lots of squatting, lunging, pushups, and core involved. I was able to keep up pretty well, but was sore the next two days. Took a break. I went again this morning at 6w+0d. I was very much NOT able to keep up. I had to keep taking rest breaks and actually felt faint at one point. I did what I felt was the responsible thing, listened to my body, and left the class about 2/3 of the way through. I couldn’t believe how exhausted I felt and how much one week difference made. I certainly don’t want to be sedentary again, and I think the weights, squats, and lunges we do during the class are really good for pregnancy. How do I find a happy medium? And should I let the instructor know that I’m pregnant? He’s a middle-aged man and I don’t know if he would even be able to offer me any insight. I have my first prenatal appointment and ultrasound in six days. Any advice welcome please!

50s(m) and 40s(f). Been together for 6 yrs. Sex used to be great. She wanted it as much as I did. She "showed" her desire for me all the time. Sex was always good. I am healthy and have no problem performing. Morning wood? No problems. I train 4 days a week and stay in shape. 2.5 years ago, she in her 40s had ovarian cancer. Had everything removed. Beat cancer, went thru whole 9 yards with chemo etc. She isnt allowed to have any hormone therapy because it can cause cancer to reoccur. With all this being said , sex now is basically no existent. She has no desire at all for sex. I get it and understand why. Her hormones are gone. She has no sex drive, ZERO. It's actually weird coming from where we used to be(sex life) before her cancer. She is literally a totally different person now. I am the kind of guy that enjoys feeling wanted when it comes to sex and without that factored in, I find it hard to want sex with someone or intiate it with someone who could basically careless if she does it ever again. To some men, they would enjoy a woman saying "hey come get it when you want it". I'm not that way, I like it to be mutual. She always tells me if I want it, just ask. I find sex to be very routine this way and tbh, it is not gratifying at all to have sex like this where 1 partner isnt really involved so to speak. She always used to enjoy orgasming, I could tell I turned her on by the way she reacted to me and looked forward to it(cumming), now there is 100% no drive to want an orgasm much less actually having one. In 2.5 yrs she has orgasmed once with me when it used to be at least once everytime we did it. Sex is only about me now. She now also literally has no sex appeal, she doesn't do sexy things anymore at all. So now we basically go months with out doing it. We will have sex 1 time in a couple of months or longer if i let it and that's after I have to ask for it a few times. Then it seems like a task, she does it out of whatever word you want to use, just to help me get it out of my system. I mean I can do this with my hand tbh lol. I find myself thinking about other men whose women desire them and I think about sex with someone else. I don't want to cheat and don't want that drama but I want someone who will desire me and have good healthy sex. It sucks, I deal with it, it sucks. When I go to the gym I see all of these potential willing women and it messes with my head. This sucks. Just doesn't seem fair relationship wise.

I’m getting my first dog (an 8 week old shiba puppy) next month after having cats my whole life and I’m exploding with anxiety!
Could any experts answer some of my questions and make me feel more prepared?

1. He’ll have his first round of shots from the breeder (DA2PP). I’m not letting him touch public grounds until all his puppy shots are done, but does he need to avoid our backyard too? Should I be keeping him inside peeing on pee pads until his vaccines are complete?
   
2. Should I take him to the vet within 48 hours? Some say to wait a week but some suggest going immediately.
   
3. CRATE: He’ll have a playpen with a pee mat and toys/food and water where he’ll stay when he’s unsupervised, and a crate by the back door. I plan on showing him the crate the very first day and putting him in there the first night, and I know I can sleep near him the first few nights if needed to calm him down. My question is, do I need to let him out to pee? Should it just be at a set time in the night where I take him out and put him on the pee pad area and encourage him to potty?
   
4. If I have to keep him out of the backyard for the first days, how do I make sure he starts going only on the potty pads?

I admit that in the past I sometimes have. let my dog off leash, but honestly that is why I know that it's generally a bad idea.
As a general rule. Your dog needs to be on leash every time it is in an unfenced area unless it is a working dog that needs to be off leash for it's job.
Your dog should not be off leash in the woods or on a hiking trail. It should not be off leash in a public park. It should not be off leash in a neighborhood street or in your front yard.
"My dog is friendly."
Friendly dogs are also a danger to themselves and others, and also a nuisance. They approach strangers who do not want to be approach. They harass local wildlife. They get themselves into danger by approaching dogs that are not friendly.
"My dog has good recall. The problem isn't off leash dog. It's untrained off leash dogs.". Every single person I know who has a nuisance dog believes THEIR dog is well trained and friendly. I promise your dog isn't nearly as well trained as you think it is. Unless you have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on professional one on one training your dog is not trained enough to be off leash.
Yes your dog has good recall 99% of the time but no dog has PERFECT recall, and the 1% of the time the dog messes up is still a risk. Also even if your dog is professionally trained it still needs to be on a leash.
"But dogs need to be able to run around and sniff things." Your dog can still sniff things even when it's on a leash. Your dog can run in a secured fenced area.
"We don't have safe fenced areas in my neighborhood. I don't have a yard and dog parks are unsafe."
Yes dog parks ARE unsafe. And it sucks that you don't have a yard. It sucks that urban infrastructure isn't set up to accommodate pet owners. But NONE of those realities magically make it safe for your dog to be off leash in public.
That is just a logistical problem you as a dog owner will have to figure out. And maybe you really need to think carefully about getting a large breed or high energy breed if you don't have fenced in places available. Or reconsider getting a dog at all.
Off leash dogs are the reason why so many non-dog-people hate dog owners. Off leash dogs are just generally a nuisance, and your dog most likely is not part of the 1% of dogs who are trained enough to be safe off leash. And even if you think it is, you still need to leash it.
I know I'm going to get hate for this but please just reconsider letting your dog off leash.

Now I am going to be a serious moaning Michael here, but what is it with GPs and GP fees here?
Please tell me if I’m totally mad for being annoyed at this situation.
Had a very sore throat/tonsils two weeks ago. Made appointment with GP who was very dismissive, told me that they get lots of sore throats and that it’s viral and something going around. I pushed a little bit and he tested for strep. Charged €60.
5/6 days later he calls me and says that I’m positive for strep - tells me to do a 5 day course of antibiotics instead of a 10 and then call him if symptoms don’t do away.
5 days in and I feel a little better. 2 days after that (today) my symptoms are back. Call the GP (hoping they’d just reissue the prescription) but because old Doctor isn’t in, another GP wants to see me.
They then take vitals and look and say that I need 5 more days of antibiotics - and then they try to charge me €45 as a follow-up fee?!
Is this taking the piss? First I was dismissed and had to be nearly a week with no treatment, now they want to charge me again because the original course that they put me on wasn’t long enough?
Mental - to be honest I’m in horrible form, am unemployed and this is just an extra thing so please let me know if I’m being unreasonable.

This story takes place over the course of about 2 ish years so details may get a little jumbled, so please bare with me. Let me start this story by setting the stage and important characters.
Dm - pretty okay guy but a little hot headed at times (This is mildly important)
Me - warlock fighter multi class
K - monk and problem player
There are a few other players but they don't really play too much of a role in this story, so I'll bring them up as needed.
We were playing Rime of the Frostmaiden, my first long term campign and the first character that I geniunely enjoyed and charished. Like I said above, I was playing an Aasimar warlock fighter, who was in the rime escaping a bounty on her head and was making ends meet by smuggling goods in and out of the ten towns. I loved her so much.
The campign starts and everything is fine for the most part, there are some in character disagreements but it was all in good fun, or so I thought. K's character constantly called my character evil for worshipping the Raven queen (hexblade warlock), before any of the problems actually start to arise its non stop and I quote, "Your a smelly stinky warlock drow!" I worked with my dm when making my charcter, and we decied that she was techinally a half helf, her fatehr being a dark elf. The only thing that made her stand out as anything else was the fact that she was well over six feet tall and build like a brick shit house.
I found out after these first few sessions that this player was the kind to run ahead of the party, without telling anyone in character, and get into trouble. The first time this happened and they showed their true colors was when we were exploring a mineshaft and turns out there was a Grell hiding in there under the specific condition, written IN THE BOOK mind you, that it would only come out if someone were in the room ALONE. Can you guess who found it and almost died as a result? If you guessed K, then you would be right. After a battle and K almost going down, almost, they start to raise hell and say that it wasn't fair and they couldn't do anything (The grell had them grappled and held in the air the majority of the fight while everyone else peppered it with spells). The DMm had to tell them that it wasn't an encounter that he made, that it was in the book and supposed to be there.
We continue with our sessioned and what not, having an occational out burst from K about the game being too hard from them splitting the party and running off. Things do start to bubble when the dm punishes K in game for their antics. For example, they start acting out of line with their gods beleifs and their god stops talking to/interacting with them, to which K whines and throws a fit over. A few more issues that we run into along the way include, but are not limited to

• K threatening to burn down a mans house because they losyt a fight. This fight was something set up by a fight club, with rules. The whole point of the fights were to rank up and challenge the champ.
• K breaking into their moms house through the chimmney and getting their ass lit on fire.
• K constantly stealing from the people of the ten towns, which if you know, are starving and activley dying.
• K complaining during almost every combat that it was unfair, unbalanced, and not fun. All the while everyone else, myself included, was having a great time
• K leaving call multiple times during session, espesially during combat, and blaming it on ADHD. This specific one pissed both me and the dm off, who I stated was a hot head before. He did not take kindly to his time and resourses being wasted. I was upset because I also have ADHD and found a ways to manage it during sessions, even offered to help K! But they always turned me down and just continued with leaving session and upseting the dm over it, while contining to blaim it on a mental illness that them and I shared.

The major two events that earn this post its title goes as follow, in this order.
My charcter was assasinated.
Her past caught up with her and she was killed, bled out in the middle of the tundra. But the dm and I talked about this, and it was meant to happen. You see, the dm sent me some cool prostetic homebrew that I really wanted to use. So we made a plan for my character to get killed, lose an arm in the process and be brought back as a reborn with an arm made of magic from the Raven Queen. What I wasn't expecting was the dm to give me a choice in letting my character die or taking the reserection in exchange for soemthing. The original trade would have been that she comes back to life but no matter what she or her father did, she and him would forever have their fates severed and couldnt do anything to save eachother.
This is a deal my character would not have taken, and I would have let her stayed dead to keep in charcter. But the dm threw me a bone and gave me a different deal instead. To which every time she died here after, she would have to stay dead for a longer and longer time, each time. Like that stop motion Pinoccio moive if you've seen it. While the dm and I were talking about it, I thought it would be funny to just roll new stats to keep everyone on their toes as we ended session before I made my decision.
Que K absolutly losing their mind in our general chat, saying that if my character dies then they wanted a new character too. The only reason this would be an issue was because we had lost a lot of the original party, K and myself being the only characters left. The Dm had even stated a while before that if we lost all the pcs that he would consider ending the campign, as no ones character would have the same inititave to act and all that. So K threaning to make a new character because I might make a new character, made things more complicated. I had put almost a year of my time at this point and didn't want it to go down the drain because of this. Which also plays into why the dm game be an easier deal for my character to take for her life back.
They had an actual break down over this, why? I still have no clue.
The second event was a dragon encounter. An Adult Black Dragon that was destorying the Ten Towns.
It was the most high stakes encounter we had ever had at that point, and everyone was stressed to say the least. My self and the artificer cast fly on eachother so we can actually reach the dragon who keeps doing fly by breath attacks. After almost an hour and a half of combat we finally slay the dragon, with myself landing the final blow. I was fucking estatic! My first dragon encounter and was the one to kill it. K however, wasn't happy.
Imeadiatly they start screaming about how they couldn't land a hit on the dragon and were useless for the fight. Saying that the Dm ran the encounter wrong, which upset the dm who was once again running a written encounter from the module. They kept screaming over the vc while we all tried to calm them down. It ended with the relativly calm barbarian pc who snapped and went off on them. There was so much yelling and fighting that I just left. I heard from the dm after the fact that K threatened to leave, which I guess they thought would work like it had in the past, but everyone who was left in vc told them to go ahead.
They stayed and we continued to have issues with them threatening to kill off their character if things didn't go their way or they weren't the mvp of every session. Needless to say, the dm kicked them after a few more sessions.

Anyone interested in 2008 g37 coupe auto, 108k miles, clean title. Runs perfect no issues. Up to date on all maintenance. It is tuned and comes with 5 maps (flame, 2 step, etc). Bought another car so its needed anymore

I watched this last night (it's on Tubi, in Canada at least), and friends, it's quite a ride. Terrible pacing. It rushes past plot points and character development to get to long scenes of ... nothing. It needed a director who would have said "OK, let's do another, except this time don't do any the stuff that you just did" to about half the cast. Second billed Tab Hunter shows up at the 57 minute mark, just in time for the movie to go full Don Dohler, with armed townsfolk walking through the woods (albeit during the day). But, it had very decent makeup FX, and the ending. The real ending. It was completely unexpected and got a genuine laugh from me. Not sure I'd recommend it to a human, but I kinda feel like Joe Bob Briggs would say "Check it out".

My fiancé (m27) and I (F25) got engaged in October of last year. Our wedding is August of this year. We have always planned on having a small wedding as we are paying for everything ourselves. We also want our wedding to be child free so everyone can relax for the day and because we have a lot of cousins and friends with kids so inviting everyone would increase the head count significantly.
We discussed who we wanted to marry us pretty early into planning and decided it would be nice if my aunt/godmother (f42) would do it, because she made me her maid of honor when I was younger because I was there with her and helped her through her through her cancer treatment. She was ecstatic when we asked her and said yes.
For context, I was very close with my aunt and grandparents on this side of the family growing up. We have drifted apart in recent years since me and my fiancé began dating and I moved out of my parents house at 18 with him. They wrote me letters openly expressing that they were unsupportive off my relationship when I moved out and stated that they “didn’t raise me to be like this” (they didn’t raise me) but we have moved past it in the past few years and started seeing them a bit more (usually once a year at Christmas.)
Anyways, after I sent the save the dates, ( my aunts was addressed to just her and my uncle and not their children since it is a child free event) my aunt texted me asking if her kids were invited. I responded “No, unfortunately, our wedding is going to be child free. I’m sorry!”
Immediately I got a call from my grandmother asking “why I’m doing this to our family.” I tell her our wedding is child free, my intention isn’t to hurt or target anyone. Basically tells me I need to stop being selfish and they won’t be able to come to my wedding because they won’t be able to find childcare. I told her I really hope they’ll be able to find childcare in the next 10 months because I would love for them to be there.
After I got off the phone with her, I texted my aunt apologizing for hurting her or the kids, explaining again that there are going to be no children at the event, and it had nothing to do with them in particular. I didn’t hear back.
I followed up with her 2 more times asking if she still was going to come to the wedding and marry us and I never heard back. I followed up a month later to let her know that because I never heard from her I found someone else to marry us. She called me a few hours later, but I wasn’t able to answer the phone. I sent a text saying we can talk on Saturday. I forgot to call her and she never reached out to me. We have not spoke at all since then.
I sent out my wedding invitations this week and my aunt RSVPed and declined their invitation. She also texted my mom and told her she isn’t coming to my wedding shower. I think it’s totally reasonable to have a child free wedding and to be selfish with who we invite. But maybe I’m missing something? Am I in the wrong for this?

this is my first time posting anything like this and i’m not sure how to start this besides just jumping straight in i’m in a fucked up situation with my long distance ex and dealing with multiple traumas at the same time. im at a point where i know i need to make some sort of change but i don’t feel worth it. with my ex, i’m very aware that she mentally and emotionally abused me and it’s as if part of my brain is being rational about it and that i need to cut her off to fully heal but the other part of me doesn’t know how to live without her or the hope of getting back together. she completely ghosted me after 4 years together(not great for the abandonment issues) and has recently come back trying to be in my life 2 years later. before she made contact id been feeling the best i had in years, i was eating n taking my meds regularly. all of the progress i made feels completely erased now and im back in the mental headspace where i would do anything to not lose her. after speaking with a friend for a while tonight i came to the realization that im clinging onto my ex so hard because i rely on her to tell me how to feel and i believe im deserving of the way she treats me but even knowing that i still find myself trying to give her another chance. im not sure how to trust myself to know what to do about anything without constant reassurance and im terrified of what will happen when i make decisions on my own so i don’t know how to move past how dependent on her ive been for the 5 years ive known her. i’ve been pretty reckless since we broke up.. careless sex, drugs, excessive spending n other alternate forms of self harm. while dealing with the loss of my partner, at the end of last year my best friend of almost 13 years decided to end our friendship n cut me off because i didn’t like her new boyfriend. losing my 2 favorite people within a year of each other gives me the impression that im the problem and i’ve lost my self worth. i’ll admit now i put myself into questionable situations. a couple days ago i was rped and i have no idea how to even process what happened i’ve been walking around like a ghost. i was previously sa’d a few years back but this time feels so different, it’s knocked me down so hard i’ve been in a dissociative state since the rpe and i feel like i shouldn’t be pitying myself bc i put myself in harms way. i feel the need to turn to my ex for support through this(which i already did, i called her the day after and we spoke for a few hours.) i’ve read a couple of posts on here about having this kind of relationship with someone and im so confused on what to do. i feel like bpd is ruining my relationships with my family n friends and ultimately ruined my relationship with my ex. i’ve experienced 2 major losses in my family this year on top of everything else and im just at a loss on where to begin processing anything with these being 2 of my first experiences with grief. i want more than anything to begin healing from the last 3 years as a whole from the abuse from my ex all the way to being r*ped three days ago but my brain shuts down and i have no control over when i feel my emotions n when i don’t. im tired of living day to day just to survive i don’t really know where to go from here i feel so hopeless. i don’t even feel like a person anymore. i guess im just kinda looking for an outsider’s view of things to tell me if ive let the bpd take complete control. i was diagnosed less than a year ago so im still struggling with managing symptoms and the shame of not feeling normal. if u made it to the end, oh damn ur so real for that n i thank u <3 pls help me im freaking out

Hi petrolheads, hope everyone is doing well!
I passed my driving test almost 2 year ago now, but neither me nor my family really had the funds for me to get a car. I have been dreaming for the last 2 years :D and now I'm in a financial position which would allow me to buy a car in the Summer before going back to Uni (im turning 21 in Sept). I wanted some help on potential options. Let me run through the requirements:
-Must be petrol (to comply with ULEZ)
-Budget: Maximum £2700.
-Must have at least 120bhp (I am a petrolhead after all :D)
-4 seats
-Max £1500 Car Insurance
-MUST BE reliable. I would ideally only want to pay to maintain the car.
-Ideally chain-driven, as I'm aware timing belts are more likely to go wrong, and can be an expensive repair if it breaks.
-Max 80-90,000 miles (depends on how reliable the car is)
Those are the 'serious' requirements, but I would like to have a bit of fun. I tried out my mate's 1.2 Corolla, and promised myself I wouldnt buy a car like that.
I have been researching for a year now, and these are the options I've picked out. Maybe you guys have experience with these cars and could just offer some thoughts/advice:

• MK1 Suzuki Swift Sport (chain-driven, apparently good fun to drive, reliable, but only a few on the market in my budget and maybe too small? Is the boot big enough for luggage?)
• MK1 Mazda 3 Sport/Takara/Saloon (again chain driven, reliable, bit more space inside, but I'm well aware (and scared) of the rust issues with Mazdas)
• MK8 Honda Civic post-06 Type S/Executive (V-tec engines are chain driven, massive boot, I really like the interior, but I know that the ride is v uncomfortable, plus leaking through the boot window is an issue too. My grandad used to have one, so I am familiar with it.)
• Toyota Corolla T Sport (Seems the most fun to drive, and Corollas are bulletproof, but quite old and there's only 1 or 2 on the market that are cheap enough - they're also 100,000+ miles.)

As you can see, I can't decide because all these options have pros and cons, hence maybe some advice would help. All of these are in my budget and insurance is not too bad (third party only).
One more thing, I have driven regularly, but only diesel cars that my Dad owns (Golf and Cooper S). So petrol is a first.

I have mostly been waxing, shaving, and epilating my bikini area for YEARS, but with age, my skin is changing and now I suffer from really, really bad in grown hairs. I have always been pretty active and am super clean (shower at least once a day, exfoliate about once a week, use fragrance free products, wear cotton underwear or go commando, and I don’t wear clothing items that directly come into contact with my bikini area more than once).
I am a redhead and have already spent THOUSANDS of dollars trying to get permanent hair removal around my bikini line. There are some patches of skin in that area that are now hair free, but it all mostly grows right back. I recently started going to a different cosmetic dermatologist at NYU Langone, and she actually recommended for me to stop the laser treatments (I did 4-5, I think) and to consider electrolysis instead.
Any ladies here with lighter hair like me (again, I am a redhead) who have tried electrolysis and had success?
Please let me know your pros/cons of electrolysis and if it’s worth pursuing to get a hair free (and in-grown hair free) 🐱!!! Also, recommendations for places that do it in NYC (clean, highly rated, credentialed practitioners).

I just finished season 2, I'm enjoying the show very much. Some references to history make me want to go to wikis to see what all changed vs real history. Also it's made me want to learn more about NASA and space travel. I was somewhat dismayed by the reference to Columbia ("let's hope Gordo isn't drunk")... I know this is sort of like asking for an accurate breakdown of Grey's Anatomy, but are there any resources online that discuss the accuracy of the various references to space travel and history on an episode-by-episode basis so I could follow along with each episode?
