Just put the finishing touches on a pit that me and my friends dug
The first couple pictures are the finished product and the last couple are some pics that my friend took while the digging was about to wrap up. This was all dug by hand because we are unable to use TNT in our realm due to someone hacking in a large block of TNT and exploding it (check the last pic). Every time someone attempts to explode TNT the server overloads and crashes. When logging back on, the server rolls back several minutes to before the first TNT was exploded. Anyways, this pit is the centerpiece to the lower part of the city that I’m building.

2024.05.16 04:29 SuperAnime4444 Fanmade Killer: Death the Wolf

I made this killer to be like the Wolf (aka Death) from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. I did my best to mimic the Wolf, and also used some ideas from the Doctor and other killers.
Death - The Wolf
“Death comes for us all.” Death is the ultimate end for all mortals. But there has been a group of people who kept getting revived again and again by the arrogant Entity. Fed up with this lack of value for life and death, the Wolf enters the Entity’s realm. There, he finds the people locked in an endless cycle of being hunted, killed, and revived. Now, Death is upon them. Not metaphorically, or rhetorically, or poetically, or theoretically, or any other fancy way. This is death. Straight. Up.
Now, he will claim them. But after he has some fun and teach everyone to fear him.
Weapon: Sickles
Movement Speed: 115%/ 4.6 m/s
Terror Radius: 40m
Height: Tall

Special Ability: Death Whistle
The Wolf can whistle its tune which will inflict Fear status effect to all survivors in a 32 meter radius. The wolf can choose to play up to two verses of the tune consecutively to give one tier of Fear per verse. The wolf cannot move during each 10 second verse.

Special Affliction: Fear
“I just love the smell of fear!”
A tier for Fear is given when the survivor is caught in a verse of the whistle or struck by the wolf’s blade. Fear can only be removed by either being hung or by the special interaction: Therapy
Tier I: Upon receiving this affliction, Survivor’s aura will be visible for 15 seconds. Skill checks have a 33% of being madness skill checks. Will always hear heartbeat.
Tier II: Upon receiving this affliction, Survivor’s aura will be visible for 20 seconds. Skill checks have a 66% of being madness skill checks. Will always hear heartbeat. Occasionally, a picture of their life will flash in vision.
Tier III: Survivor enters Panic Attack state for 30 seconds. During this time, survivor will be locked in a running state in first person view, always hear the heartbeat, have aura visible for the full duration, and have several hallucinations of Illusionary Wolves. Survivor is unable to use items, fix generators, or interact with items other than windows and pallets. At the end of the 30 seconds, Panic Attack ends and Survivor returns to Tier II Fear.

Special Interaction: Therapy
When a survivor has at least one tier of Fear, another survivor can treat that survivor to reduce the fear by one tier.

Special Locomotion: Dash
The Wolf bounds 10 meters. It can only be used once, and the cooldown is 10 seconds.

Perks
Death Counter: Each time a survivor dies, a token is added on.
· Ability cooldowns have a stackable 10%/20%/30% decrease
· Reduces time to vault Window to 1.48/1.275/1.07 seconds
· Increases lunge range by setting attack open time to 0.6/0.7/0.8 seconds

Pick. It. Up.: When a survivor is reviving a down survivor, it starts with a difficult skill check. Failure will cause down survivor to scream giving away location.

Bien! Muy bien!: Whenever the killer is struck with a pallet, for 10 seconds, movement speed is increased by 20% and a strike will be an instant down.
Add-On
Hood & Cloak: When the Wolf looks down, he has the Undetectable effect. The Wolf can move, but looking down obviously means limited vision.

Knuckle Duster: It takes just 1 second to break pallet or damage gens. The Wolf cannot lunge.
Sweet Release: Denying the Entity its food, the Wolf shall claim what’s his. The Wolf will not hook survivors. Instead, he will Mori the survivor if that survivor was inflicted with a Tier III Fear at some point. Mori will grant 2500 blood points.

Mori: It's Time to End This
When survivor is within 14 feet in front of the Wolf, the Wolf strikes up walls of fire that surrounds the survivor before delivering the final strike.

2024.05.16 04:25 CreativeSource1209 The Devil’s playbook against the ‘Appointed Son of God’ (Part 1)

Even the darkest forces cannot tarnish the light of the Son of God,for His wisdom sees through every page of the devils’ playbook.
He is fearless. He is not evading the law, despite what the naysayers claim. He strategically fights with wisdom and righteousness guiding him from shade.
After all, millions of followers worldwide call him as the 'Appointed Son of God' for a reason. He possesses the wisdom to see through every page of the devils’ playbook. He will continue to stand for truth and justice. Because that is what a reasonable man of God will do.
I am referring to the founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC), Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, who is facing a highly unusual and complex case spanning both the Philippines and the United States.
What I mean by that is that the gravity of this issue extends beyond his own person, holding importance for the country’s interests.
Pastor Apollo’s name has been dragged into numerous unsubstantiated claims — from accusations of human trafficking and sex-related offenses to allegations of SMNI’s ‘red-tagging’ and involvement with a Chinese propaganda unit, along with claims that he provided firearms to then-President Rodrigo Duterte and Mayor Sara Duterte.
Take note: all of these have just happened within six years since the presidency of Duterte.
Earlier this year following the subpoenas issued by the Senate and House, Pastor Apollo released a statement that his life is in grave danger — the reason why he’s not seen as usual in public anymore. This came with shocking revelations that made it to the headlines and opened more controversies, and perhaps gave us the bigger picture of what’s happening in our country:
The Philippine President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr, together with his wife Liza Araneta-Marcos, are conniving with the U.S. government to have him arrested and assassinated through rendition. This, he said, was according to a ‘very reliable source.’
He also disclosed that the FBI, the CIA, and the U.S. Embassy had been conducting surveillance on the KOJC properties and that a $2-million bounty had been offered in exchange for his arrest.
He also said that his reliable source revealed that the current admin would take over all the KOJC properties and establish a corporation under which its assets would fall under.
He said that former workers of the KOJC, whose records within the congregation are arguably heinous, have left and are now being used by his detractors, particularly by Senator Risa Hontiveros along with the leftist lawmakers Makabayan bloc.
He also believed that Marcos is doing this because of his close association with former President Rodrigo Duterte and Vice President Sara Duterte.
In light of these circumstance, from the point of view of Pastor Apollo, submitting easily to the government's investigation would be akin to suicide. By that, he made the right decision to exercise all of his constitutional rights.
And no, ‘flight is a sign of guilt’ does not apply here. Circumstances may compel flight, but it doesn’t prove guilt.
On the other hand, this brings us to more serious questions:
Why would the U.S. target Pastor Apollo? Why would Marcos, whom Pastor Apollo openly supported in the last election, allegedly conspire with the U.S. to have him killed?
Why are they after the properties of the KOJC?
How is the Duterte family being implicated in this?
Why would the Senate, House of Representatives, and other government agencies suddenly serve as ‘judge’ for the alleged crimes of Pastor?
Why is SMNI, a well-known platform for former President Duterte and known for its stance against communist propaganda, under attack by the government?
Why are all the online media platforms of Pastor Apollo and SMNI being shut down?
Why are all of these happening now just when the KOJC has prospered and Pastor Apollo became so influential in the country?
In this first part of the Devil’s playbook against the 'Appointed Son of God,' we will lay down first the foundation of the tactics of the Devil. (The term 'Devil' generally refers to those who seek to destroy Pastor Apollo and the country.)

2024.05.16 04:22 actionableadvice20 STOICISM GUIDE: ACTIONABLE ADVICE

GUIDE TO STOICISM: ACTIONABLE ADVICE
Stoicism is one of the ancient philosophies which has been popularised on the internet. We all have probably seen videos on Stoicism whether that be of Ryan Holiday on the good side or the Sigma Grindset Stoic Memes on reels. This by no means is the best philosophy but it is probably the most applicable for the most amount of people. But with all the things on the internet this is one of the things which gets lost in explanation or used by bad faith people using it to propagate their own agendas. So this is my Guide as well as my Understanding of this Philosophy
WHO IS IT FOR?
This guide is for anyone who is interested in Stoic philosophy. By the end of it you would have a basic guide for Stoicism and you would have different resources from where you can learn more about it.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE:
I would not consider myself a stoic but stoicism is one of the frameworks which I have in my mind and I use it when I feel necessary. I use these ideas to help me, calm me and give me a different perspective in day to day life.
ACTIONABLE IDEAS:
  1. Dichotomy of Control: This is one of the things which can be found in a lot of philosophies, and for a good reason as well. Control is one thing which we all like, control over our life, control over what happens to us, but according to stoic we only have control over our mind, as our surroundings can change, our bodies can deteriorate but our mind is always there and always under control. Now this would be different if you suffer from some diseases. So It could be better said as control over your judgments of events.
  2. Embody Ideals: This has been said by stoics in different ways, whether that be Marcus Aurelius: Waste no time arguing what a good man should be, Be one, or Epictetus: Don’t Explain your philosophy Embody it. We see that a lot of time we waste our time thinking what is right, what is wrong, what it means to be a man, what it means to be a woman, but if we are honest with each other we do know what we ought to do and what are our values, if you don’t introspect but don’t debate too much and try to embody that and see what happens.
  3. View from Above: This can be explained in a gaming term where in games like assassin's creed, recent games you have the eagle eye in which you can use an eagle to see the big picture from above and strategize. The same can be applied in life, where sometimes when we are in the thick of things, our vision narrows and we feel hopeless, overwhelmed so in those situations detach for a bit see the whole picture and strategize accordingly.
  4. Relation with Death: Death is also one of the things we see a lot in different philosophies and it is one of the things which we can be absolutely certain of. Death is the final destination for us and you need to build a healthy relation with death and you need to keep death as a way of keeping things in perspective.
RESOURCES:
  1. Ryan Holiday Books: Obstacle is the Way, Courage is Calling, Daily Stoic
  2. Meditations: Marcus Aurelius
  3. Discourses and Selected Writings: Epictetus
SUMMARY:
Develop Different perspectives of events by using death and view from above, realise what is in your control and embody the ideals you want to be associated with.
This is what I use as frameworks in life and it has helped me calm down and gain perspective and I really felt improvement in my life. If you have any problems in your life comment and I would make a guide on that, If you have any review on the way I write I would be pleased to hear. Thanks.

2024.05.16 04:22 z1ggy16 What kind of scam could this be?

Person (woman, I am male) friend requests me on Facebook. Their profile says they are from my area and I thought I knew them, so I accept. Messages me a day or so later, saying hey, just small talk. I figured this was a scam and I asked what they want, they say nothing just thought I'm good looking and what to chat.
I still figure it's a scam so I keep going since I have some IT skills and I like to mess with scammers. Long story short, she gets kind of ... aggressive? and says she would have sex with me, etc. So I ask for a pic of her, and tell her I will send a link to some pics of me. Link is actually infected with an IP Tracker, which they do end up clicking.
Oddly, they are in the USA, a few states over. I say hey, where are you located now.. and they say the location from which the IP is logging in from. Never seen this before. I never sent any photos of myself but obviously there are many on my FB page. She still asked for a selfie since the link didn't work. The pic she sent me was PG-13 but pretty "sexy" and looked just like the girl who owns this profile. Hasn't asked for money or anything but I have never in my years seen a woman go from HI how are you to, oh I'd do you, within 15 or 20 IM exchanges.
The profile definitely seems weird, like at one point it was hacked after being normal for some time. I noted this, and she said that she had to delete her FB for a long time and just recently came back. I asked why she found me and she said she was searching for somebody with my same first name. I'm so confused, because any scam I've been on the end of, they either have HORRIBLE English grammar, or they get to the chase pretty fast.
Has anyone had something like this happen? What is the chance this is actually a young woman randomly chatting me up, by mistake? I'm obviously insanely skeptical but the IP thing has me so lost.

2024.05.16 04:10 PricklyLiquidation19 Obvious Bitcoin Scam- "Dolphin Dynamics" LinkedIn Remote Job Customer Service Assistant

Obvious Bitcoin Scam-

I got a job offer recently on LinkedIn, which wanted me to talk to a guy on Facebook so that he could send me to someone on WhatsApp (of course) for a job. He has a very detailed profile, lots of pictures of family friends, hobbies; obviously looks like they took all of these from a real profile.
He writes: Position: Customer Service Assistants (Helps with online Assistance) Advantages: Working hours: Part-time and full-time
  • No experience required.
  • Salary - CA$120- CA$300 per day
  • Flexible working hours.
  • Overtime available. -Must be 20 years and Above
Girl on WhatsApp can't Facetime right now but gets me to sign up on the Website pictured above which I will be trained to use but the website has practically nothing on it except for "Withdraw" and "Deposit" and it's all about creating a Bitcoin wallet etc. At this point, I'm 100% sure I'm in an employment scam.

No wonder we are suddenly doing the orientation at 9pm Canadian time. They claim they're in London, England but it's 3am there... But it's just the beginning of the workday in India of course.
Be careful signing up for anything and don't take a job without a proper interview.

2024.05.16 04:04 falafelsatchel Mr. Robot x Harry Potter

Mr. Robot is one of the best stories I've ever experienced (even on the 5th viewing)
I can't help but think it would fit perfectly in a Harry Potter esque world:
Hacking magic/potions instead of technology
The secret organizations and cults
Identity crises and mental disorders caused by or exacerbated by Polyjuice type potions and all other sorts of spells
Magic terror attacks
White Rose's project would fit perfectly
I'd love to see something like that

2024.05.16 03:54 Soggy_Manner_4187 Filing for a restraining order but the person used a fake name to send the threat.

Over the weekend I had someone who I don’t know send me dozens of messages on multiple accounts threatening to kill me, my children, and my husband. They sent picture of my kids with drawings indicating they were going to kill them. I’ve filled a police reports and was advised in the meantime to file for a protection order. One of the accounts that was used to message me was sent with a legitimate name and the other was used with a fake name but was used with real pictures of the person. I traced it down to the original senders wife. My only concern is if there is going to be a discrepancy with proving it was that person who actually sent me those message beings that she had used a fake name to originally send them. The investigator told me they were going to be getting search warrants and going to subpoena Facebook to find account info used to create the account to see if it also links back to the same person. However, the criminal hearing and the EPO are separate. To me, the police, and everyone else it’s no question but will I run into an issue with proving it because it was also linked to her husband who did use his real name when sending me a message threatening to kill me and my family? Sorry if I’m all over the place with explaining this. I’m still frazzled and blindsided by all of this.

2024.05.16 03:48 juliantrain Please help with creating Ayrton Senna memorial piece

Please help with creating Ayrton Senna memorial piece
(The sketch I have right now is rough sketch just putting down some ideas, the sketch of the car is from Monaco, the trophy is the interlagos trophy, and just a side view of him w his iconic helmet. I also have Brazilian flag behind him. What should I change or should I choose a different moment/picture? Or what should I add? )
How should I go about creating an Ayrton Senna art piece? Should I make a collage-like piece that includes him on the podium holding the trophy, his iconic car MP4/4, and include the brazillian flag? Or should I just do a portrait of him with him pouring the champagne on his head. I am painting in oil paints and considering doing realism mixed with abstract/impressionism. I really want to make a piece that speaks about him and really gives off a powerful moment in his memory. I'd like to hear from some big time Ayrton Senna fans the best way to go about this or what you think would personally touch you. Give me some ideas please & thank you :)

2024.05.16 03:43 pakrninja 20 things I learned for budget oriented tourists in Vegas

  1. Fremont Street Experience - 3 stages with Live bands, plenty of street performers, 2 OG casinos (1 of which lets you take a picture with $1,000,000) plus plentiful bars/restaurants. Spending money is not required. We didn't make it at night, but from what I understand it is a good show. During the summer there are more popular artists that perform in the area.
  2. Buy a bus pass. $20 for 3 days of unlimited rides. Bus stops at most casinos on the strip as well as Fremont Street. It can get crowded, but it is far cheaper than Lyft/Uber or parking your own vehicle.
  3. Plan on having cash on hand for tipping. They gave us a booklet with recommended tipping amounts for just about any potential service you could require. On a budget you don't want to be that tourist that doesn't tip when expected, but you also don't want to overdue it. Just a quick few (Bellhops $1-$3 per bag, Housekeeping $5-$10 per day you have them clean, Buffets $5-$10 per person)
  4. Just about everything else can be purchased using Credit/Debit cards. Even a lot of the street performers take digital payments now (Zelle, CashApp, Venmo, Paypal)
  5. High Roller observation wheel - If you are 21+, I would recommend getting the "Happy half hour" tickets (Cost a bit more but include unlimited drinks on your ride) which can be used at any time of the day, but definitely go at night. Pods are supposed to hold up to 40 ppl, but when we went we had about 12-15 people besides us. Plenty of room and plenty of time to get your drink on.
  6. Wear comfortable shoes, When looking at a map it can be deceiving how far things are from each other. You will find out quickly that you will put some mileage on. My wife and I averaged about 9-10 miles of walking per day, and that was with us trying to avoid it due to medical issues.
  7. Hotel - We stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacations, it's a very nice hotel. Our room was massive, included a full kitchen, dishwasher, dishes, washedryer, and an in wall safe. Be aware, they will ransack you with signing up for a sales presentation. If you are willing to sit through the presentation you will score some goodies, like free show tickets or free dinner, etc. You are under no obligation to buy anything, but if you want free... this is a good way.
  8. Speaking of washedryer in our room, check your booking closely to see if you have one. If you do, make sure to not overpack. We stayed a week and probably could have packed for 3 days and been just fine.
  9. Book a room with a full kitchen if possible. We went grocery shopping after checking in and stocked up enough basic foods for the week so we didn't have to eat out every meal. When every meal is going to cost you a minimum of $15-$20 per person basically everywhere, it can add up quick. Plus all of the dishes were included, we just had to wash them. They also provided dishwasher detergent.
  10. Resort Fees - Be aware of the hotel charging resort fees. As far as I am aware, every hotel on the strip at least has resort fees. HGV had one at $30 per night (Which literally paid for our "complimentary"Wi-Fi, having a phone in our room, and being allowed to self park) Valet was $40 per night billed on our hotel tab.
  11. Do not engage with the sales people on the streets unless you are truly interested. It is easy to get scammed and you aren't getting your money back. They also will hound you if you show the least bit of interest in what they are doing. If you bring kids, be aware that there is a TON of pornographic material/cards being handed out or offered in newspaper style machines. Not to mention the "showgirls" that are wandering around with very little on offering to take pictures with you (for a fee of course), there are also BDSM women that walk around and offer to spank you, in front of everyone of course.
  12. If you are a people watcher, be aware there are limited areas to sit and just people watch unless you sit at a barestaurant. There are surfaces around to sit on in some places, but I wouldn't count on it.
  13. Our 2 favorite restaurants on our trip. Margaritaville (Which we were informed will be closing down it's current location due to their lease expiring, but they are looking for a new location.) and Heart attack grill. If you don't know what either of those are, go on youtube and search. Heart attack grill is a themed restaurant and it is geared towards unhealthy eaters (or fat people if you will). Food was delicious though. Margaritaville had great food, great atmoshere, and great service.
  14. Buffet - If you are tempted to spend $$$ on an expensive buffet, be aware they really aren't worth the cost if you are on a budget. We went to the Wynn buffet ($75/person) which included our non-alcoholic drinks. If I had known then what I know now, I honestly would have ONLY gone for dessert. While there is a large assortment of really good food, it is all designed to fill you up quickly and there is just about zero chance you get your $75 worth unless you are a professional eater (or eat like one). But going for desserts, you have so many different choices to try and the portions are smaller being desserts. If you were to buy these desserts at a normal restaurant, they would price between $5-$25. That means you can quickly get your $75 worth without overeating. As of this post, Wynn buffet is the 2nd most expensive buffet, behind bacchanal. We only ate at the Wynn buffet, but there are also more reasonably priced buffets around $30-$50 per person.
  15. Blue Man Group - If you haven't heard of them, look them up. They are a comedy show, but not stand up comedy. It's skit based, involves lots of music and crowd interaction. There is NO TALKING from the members of the blue man group, they only act. Which just adds to the show, we loved it. It's a little pricey, I paid about $135 each for tickets... but it was pretty much the highlight of our trip.
  16. Any restaurants you plan on visiting, make reservations. Most you can make online. It may not be needed, but if you show up and there is a line down the block, you get to skip the line. Well worth it, just make sure you are there on time or you lose your spot.
  17. Avoid buying tourist trap excursions off websites claiming to give you a deal. 99% of them are either the exact same price as if you walk up to the venue or possibly even slightly more expensive. Not to mention, they are literally called a tourist trap for a reason. If you have money to blow, have at it. But on a budget, you won't miss out by not getting sucked in.
  18. At basically every restaurant there will be a photographer walking around offering to take pictures. Don't be fooled into thinking these are free photos. They will give you one complimentry photo that is tiny, like as small as those instamax cameras (1x1 photos). They will offer you 2 larger photos (4x6) in a (not so) fancy cardboard photo frame. At the time of this post, it was $20 per photo. *Tourist Hack* If you want the photos, tell them you do not want them and they will offer you both photos without the cardboard frame for $20. This worked at every single restaurant that we hit. Although, we only purchased twice, because how many restaurant photos with logos and crap on it do you need?
  19. If you really want to save money, do things OFF-strip. Everything on the strip is pricier, I do mean EVERYTHING.
  20. All gift shops have basically the same things. We visited the "Worlds Largest Gift Shop" and also one called ABC gifts (or something like that). Honestly, the Worlds largest felt crowded and overwhelming. The ABC shop we went to had some nice things in it that we bought, I would recommend them.

A friend in a different country, never saw a picture of, don't know real name, almost nothing. Couldn't convince of psychic phenomena for hours until they took a picture and I remote viewed it successfully.
I had 0 clue what I was describing. Didn't make sense and I really feared I screwed it up. But turned out my most accurate prediction.

Hello!
I am an amateur artist currently working on some characters for a visual novel project. This is the first one I've been working on (digital) and I have a hard time with the expression on the face. The expression is very different between the sketch and the digital drawing.
I put a picture of the reference I drew (face view) followed by two exemple of the character in game. (The background picture is from unsplash use as test only, for the moment)
I also joined a picture of the sketch I used. It is hand drawn because I am not very good at drawing digital sketches. It is faster for me to follow the lines from previously hand drawn sketch.
I would love some advice / input to improve my art.
Thanks a lot!

2024.05.16 03:30 lahimatoa Did the officiating in Game 3 flip Denver/Minnesota on its head?

Up front, I want to say that I really like both of these teams. I cheered for the Nuggets to win last season, and I'd love to see them win again this year. Minnesota is young and fun and I hope Ant becomes the face of the league one day.
With that out of the way, we all saw how the T-wolves were dominating the Nuggets on defense in Games 1 and 2. It seemed like an extension of what the league was letting teams get away with post All-Star break: a lot of physical play, some hacking, bumping, etc. The T-wolves were blitzing everyone, making life for Murray hell, and doing everything they could to disrupt what the Nuggets like to do, which is tons of interior passing and getting Murray open looks.
NBA commentators were calling it the most impressive playoff defense they've seen in years. People were wondering if the Nuggets could win even a single game in this series.
Then Game 3 rolls around, and Minny gets whistled for four soft fouls in the first 10 minutes (seriously watch some of these), and that's it. This crew decides they're calling this game in an entirely different way than Games 1 and 2 were called, more akin to how they called games in the first half of the season.
With the whistles coming early and at the first sign of contact, Minnesota couldn't do what they did in Games 1 and 2, and end up getting blown out.
Now, was some of this Jokic figuring out Minny? Certainly yes. Did Mike Malone call a better game? Yes. Was Murray healthier? He sure looked like it. There were many factors that flipped this series, but a huge one, IMO, was the way the officiating flipped on its head out of nowhere.
All I ever want from sports officials is consistency. Keep it consistent throughout the game. Keep it consistent throughout the series. Keep it consistent throughout the season. But when these variations show up, it makes the viewing experience really frustrating.
Just my two cents.
