Emerson PSark Modified - Second owner got on the swap as a modified user. They had acid washed the blade & ground off the Emerson wave tab. I installed PB washers and it’s a lot smoother now. Heavily used sharpened many times. Still is pretty sharp. Solid lock up no play or lash. Lock up is at roughly 50%. 154cm blade steel.

No Limit Night Stalker in S90V otf. Original owner used quite a bit. Dagger ground blade still very sharp. This was the very first knife I attempted to sharpen with my Worksharp and let’s say I made a mistake lol. Knife is still perfectly functional it just has grind lines on the one side. Fires hard and has minimal play when locked out.

I've wanted to make a custom movement modifier for a while now because the regular one feels pretty restrictive. My custom one uses bounce pads, so all the options in the bounce pad gallery device can be used.
the Verse code for the movement modifier will be at the bottom of the post. you just need a Trigger that will activate the device, and a Bouncer device to apply the velocity and effects.
I have another Verse device I'm not using in this clip, but it's part of what's in the main Verse Device here, so it's pretty relevant. It's an improved version of the ground detector device I posted a while ago and the code will be at the bottom as well. All you need is a trigger that will trigger at the start of the match, and a Switch with "Store State Per Player" on.

Just make sure that the Device you make has the name "Better_Movement_Modifier" for the Movement Modifier and "Ground_Detector" for the Ground Detector or else they won't work.

And good god am I grateful.
My parents have been separated for years, but their shared “truth” during covid lockdowns really brought them together. Which, in a way, I’m grateful for their having each other. They live together out of necessity so it was nice to see them share beliefs.
But it’s all been so frightening. My dad is refusing medication he needs to take colloidal silver and baking soda, my mum is anti-trans, the two of them bond through chemtrails spotted, anti-immigration and racist-leaning, and watching the predominantly American and Canadian billionaire YouTubers (I’m in Ireland so forgive me but they’re who I’ve noticed) who are corrupting. My dad in particular is so lost in it all. He plays videos through the night so when he gets up in the morning his mind is saturated with it all.
When I asked them both if they’d forgive me if I got the covid vaccine, my mum said “of course” and my dad said “absolutely not”. Even now, years later, they’re scared for me because my boyfriend could be passing me on “spike proteins” through sex.
I miss them both so much. They were powerful forces of right when I was growing up, standing up for minorities and speaking your mind. I grew up in protests for really good causes.

I (30F) was dating (37M) for the past five months. We met on the apps. We did not define the relationship as both of us mutually agreed that we needed more time to figure it out. There was some distance between us that made it harder to consistently see each other every week. We were 1.5 hours away from each other, and both of us have full lives with work and personal stuff. We saw each other every other week or once every three weeks. When we weren't able to physically see each other, we would video called. I would say our communication was consistent as we would talk via video or phone call at least once a week if we're unable to meet. We didn't talk 24/7, but we would send memes or a message to check in daily - both of us are not big on texting.
We did have very good chemistry as whenever we hung out or talked, it would last for 2-4 hours unintended. There were times when we stayed over at each other's place overnight due to the distance. We did not have sex as both of us agreed to not going beyond the kissing and making out until after we were officially boyfriend/girlfriend.
Throughout this time, I've been pretty transparent with what I wanted. I was dating for a long-term relationship. He said he was looking for the same thing as well, but wanted to take his time with it. I was very much on the same page and wanted to go slowly and gradually build our connection. Fast forward to about two weeks ago, we hung out at his place. Afterward, I returned home and reach out to him to let him know I got back safely. Typically, he would respond back, but this time he went cold on his communication. This made me extremely anxious and I started to overthink because I wasn't sure if I did something wrong to make him go cold. It was also very unlike him. I directly reached out to him a few days later to see what was going on. He said he felt confused after I left and needed some time to think, but would get back to me over the weekend. The weekend came around, and I didn't hear anything from him. So I reached back out to him. In our conversation, he said he doesn't know what he truly wants and he wants us to be friends until he figures it out. This really upset me because the entire time, he said he wanted a relationship. We were dating and seeing each other to see if we wanted that with each other.
I shared that I felt it was unfair to have me wait until he's ready. I also told him that I felt like my time was wasted because he didn't know what he wanted. He disagreed and said he didn't think time was wasted because the past few months gave him clarity that he was not ready for a relationship and he didn't know what he wants. He shared he need me to give him more time until he gets his life together. This really stung me. I also felt blindsided.
While I would like to remain friends with him, I feel so embarrassed by the situation because it felt like he played me. The entire time, I've been pretty communicative with what I wanted and he said he wanted the same thing. Had I known that he was unsure, I would've called it off sooner. I'm also angry at myself because in the five months, my gut was telling me that something wasn't right. I didn't know what it was and couldn't pinpoint it at the time, but it makes sense now.
Right now, I don't plan to wait until he is ready. I'm going to move on and continue to meet and date other people. But this entire situation is blocking me mentally from wanting to build a connection with someone else. I need advice on how to move forward emotionally from all of this. I 35 M will try to not be all over the place but bare with me. I think I really messed up. About 7 months ago my wife 29F found out some news about herself. She has always had a strained relationship with her mother (sheila), she grew up being abused in almost every way you can think of. How she turned into the well rounded person she is today amazes me. Her bio father (tom) was never there as well. The news she found out was the man she thought was her bio dad isn't. Not only did she find out that, she found out her actual father lived an hour away. He had/has no idea about her. She also found out that Tom (who was married to Sheila when they had my wife) is a war hero who fought in desert storm and the reason he stepped out of her life is cause he never recovered from his ptsd. He would sleep walk and grab weapons and would patrol their house. Any noises or even being startled sends him into a panic. Still to this day.
Now this is where i messed up. My wife has not wanted any physical touch. No cuddling, no sex, no long hugs. She's told me multiple times that she's struggling and didn't think it was possible for her mother to hurt her more. It's been 7 months of barely any contact, although she's been assuring me that she loves me and couldn't thank me enough for being patient. Expect I haven't. I don't know why but I couldn't get the thought that she's cheating out of my head. Cause we've never been this long without sex. Besides this she hasn't changed too much. It's been 3 days and things aren't the same. I've never seen her this depressed. She just goes to work comes home eats then sleeps. Besides the day she had therapy. She's been going weekly since she found out.
My parents marriage ended cause my mom cheated and I let my own crap get to me. What can I do or say to fix this?
I do not want to lose her. She's the most outstanding and strongest person I've ever met but I feel like I set her over the edge and she's just a shell of herself. I'm so stupid. Hi, I'm "new" to Reddit, I was a lurker until recently when I left Twitter to escape the hatred and racism of the French feed.
Now that I'm starting to interact with "y'all", I notice that a lot of my posts are being disliked for no apparent reason.
In particular at two moments:

• A post where I asked a French community for advice on starting a business. As soon as I took the time to thank the people who referred me, I was disliked (?).
  
• A block of text this morning to re-motivate a bored XDefiant player, taking the time to express as much advices as possible, I was liked twice and disliked 3 times (?).
  

Is it common on Reddit to have “crazy dislikers” roaming around and dislikes for no reason or am i secretly toxic ?

I made a somewhat "typical" Twitter-like sarcastic (but respectful) joke on the subject of sex life, the topic was: "What to say to someone who is a virgin to advise them on their future sex life ", my response was not necessarily funny for everyone (and I'm cringing writing it here) but it seems obvious to me that it is a matter of benevolent self-mockery aimed at making a point of humor : "Give up and play video games instead, it's too tricky"... TONS of dislike.

Sometimes I think people forget that the person on the otherside of the screen has other interests, families, jobs, school, volunteer work, etc. I think it is to the point that they see that person being busy for a few minutes, a few hours, a few days, a week or two and start harping that the person is wasting their time.
Note: This is not about people who ghost that's different and constantly gets lumped together with people just living life and not having time to get to their rps as much as they would normally would. Nor is this about people who constantly say they are going to post soon, but never do or those that is also another matter.
First and for most communication is one of the main factors. However, communication does not mean that person has to give a play by play of their lives and movements to justify why they can't respond to an rp. Some might provide vague info, but they shouldn't be expected to elaborate if they aren't comfortable doing so or don't want to. It is good enough that they let the person know. Whether it is health, family, work, school or other hobbies is irrelevant. Just as if that person ends up busy the same respect should be given. Communication doesn't mean they have to constantly reassure someone that they are still around after they have already said they will be busy for a while. If a person has said, 'hey gonna be busy gaming for a few days,' it doesn't mean that everytime they pop up playing that game, that they are ignoring their rp partner and not responding to rps. They just want to spend some time playing video games.
Roleplaying together does not mean dating or that the rp partners are 'friends'. RP friends, sure, but 'friends' not so much. I'm not saying that rp partners can't become friends or don't date, because they do. However, not all roleplayers are looking to make friends with their rp partners or are trying to start a relationship with them. Some just want to write together and that's it. Not everyone is going to want to share their personal lives, their issues or other things going on with them with their rp partner. They might not want to talk much out side of rp besides a bit of ooc discussing basic things and plot. It shouldn't be seen as a slight.
Another factor is being up front. Tell the truth. No one has to share why they are busy, don't have time, have low motivation but they should at least mention that they'll be away. No should be trying to hunt down exactly what their rp partner is doing during that time either. And they shouldn't be creating scenarios of what the person is doing besides writing rp. To add to that if a person knows they don't like waiting that's something they should be upfront about when looking for rp partners. Keeping response time frame preferences a secret has to be the oddest flex that some people who rp have. (though if the preference is sex related they have plenty to say). Always ask about preferred responded times and inform of those preferences. Be honest about response times expectations.
to add to that, there is no reason response times should be left out of the initial conversation. If a person has an expectation of responses times, voice it. To keep it to themselves just invites more frustration. Getting bent out of shape because someone didn't respond right away, or because they happened to be online but didn't post, or the mentioned being busy with something else (life, family, work, school, etc).
Sometimes people really need to take a step back and assess their response to someone being busy and not responding to rp as much or not at all due to other things. There is no need to 'wait' on a reply as though nothing else matters (atleast with some reactions dealing with people waiting it feels that way).
Disclaimer: Of course no one has to wait for someone else. That is their choice. However, that is not the point of what I am trying to say.

I recently realized that my husband and I both use reddit but don’t follow each other so he just gave me his phone to follow myself on his account. I'm searching for a photo library app that handles use cases where your smartphone has not enough capacity for all your photos/videos but you still want to have all of them accessible.
Essentially:

• Performant enough to replace the phone's gallery app in day-to-day use
• Syncing ability (either self-hosted or Cloud-based), including some kind of selective sync, e.g. to keep enough images local to fill a certain amount of space, but automatically remove old ones locally if you take new ones
• Sync albums
• Offline support (at least for those that are synced locally)
• Support of Android, Windows, and Mac OS X (or Web-based for non-mobile)

Does anyone know of an app that supports all of that? I tested out 15+ apps, but none came close except Mylio Photos. Unfortunately, Mylio turned out to be incredibly unreliable, thus not an option for one's most cherished memories.

My fellow gamers, for too long has our community suffered the indignation of an intolerable culture that has denigrated, besmirched, exploited, and has outright demonized our culture of unique individuals with a genuine love of a hobby that they see as profitable and progressive. But the truth of the matter is they were never really looking to be a part of our community, they simply wanted to use our community as a tool of activism and propaganda in the entertainment industry as it was extremely profitable, and they wanted inclusion in that division. Ever since GamerGate & Female Frequency, we have had to endure the incursion of forced ideologies, xenophobic behaviors and inferior overpriced products that have never been in our best interest and have been flat out disgraceful towards foreign media.
Before Gaming had become a major source of entertainment, we were often categorized as anti-social or societies rejects where because we found more enjoyment in playing fictional characters and not spending as much time out and about, we never fully assimilated in society (which is a good thing if you ask me). From 1998 to 2007, at the height of innovation, creativity and production, Gaming had reached a golden age in which it had revolutionized society. Hollywood Execs who had ruined the movie industry turned their attention to video games as a source of income since video games had outperformed movies in terms of profit. This makes people like SBI look extremely disingenuous as they were not interested in gamers as a community with its own culture. They simply wanted to use it as another weapon in identity politics.
Microtransactions; the hidden enemy to gamer progress and inducer to mental laziness of our community. Microtransactions have been around for a long time; however, it has never been more potent and apparent than in recent years. It has aided in the dismantling and segregation of players on the ideology of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and has created another sub-culture of gamers who have no real drive to be better outside of how much money they put into the game. This has degraded our culture as well as we have become “fat” off transactional gaming but at the same time we have been “starved” of purposeful gaming where our achievements were our sustenance. I am not saying that microtransactions are bad, but when they are exploitative and predatorial like they have been and don’t give gamers room to grow, we become lethargic and unwilling to improve ourselves as gamers. Oversaturated microtransactional games are one of the many reasons why we have become complacent and unwilling to fight against the exploitative tactics used by big brand game companies such EA, Ubisoft, ActivisionBlizzard, NaughtyDog and so many other western business model companies. Western style games were not like this in the past, they had much more depth and actual effort put into them with the gamer in mind. This has not been the case for over a decade and our connection to western developers has been whittled down to just being transactional. That is one of the reasons why you see so many remasters and remakes in today’s gamer community. They have lost their willingness to improve as developers of games and simply accept corporate/share holder rules.
Game journalists also do not have any real integrity or purpose outside of being funded for their involvement in promoting IPG (Identity Political Games) in a positive light to the public whether it’s positively received or not. They are not interested in what we have to say, they all support the same agenda and that is why they are a dying breed. Within the next couple of years, they will be out of the job and more than likely they will not be able to stay in the industry giving how they have responded to past articles that have clearly been scripted on the premise of diversity and racism. Not only that, but most of them are also extremely hostile to the community as they stereotype and defame the individuals that are a part of the community they are supposed to serve. We have been mentally liberated from their lies and coercive tactics as we tend to laugh at their obvious attempt at virtue signaling while hiding their misdoings so that they can play the victim.

I have weighed our options and the best option for us now is this…...CULTURAL SECESSION. We must reject everything from the west that promotes toxic western beliefs, practices, and exclusion from other cultures (i.e. Southeastern Countries such as Japan and Korea). Japan & Korea have been the targets of unjust discrimination from Western Developers, Western Journalists, Western Localizers (The Wokelizers) and Western Society Prejudice regarding their sense of aesthetics as Westerners hate the aesthetic sense of these countries. By redirecting the conversation away from their mistakes and back on to the opposing view to avert blame and justify their innocence they can avoid criticism. However; deflection is a CONSCIOUS decision, meaning they have no real argument to justify their incompetence. If you can consciously process the situation, you have self-agency which means you don’t have a legitimate excuse. Projection is something else entirely. I haven't listened to the podcast since the first couple of episodes because I didnt feel like they really offered anything of substance and it was all just regurgitated information. But after the post here about the recent episode curiosity killed the cat and I listened to it. And boy do I have thoughts.
The episode was WAY too long. Mostly her bragging about how great she is. She had a couple of good tips but the way she explained them was so wierd. She obviously doesn't know how to offer advice for people who don't have her personality or style.

Actual useful tips would have been Gather your inspiration for the project you want to work on weather that be a Pinterest photo, a paint color you love or a piece of decor you just had to have.
Think about what is stopping you from starting the project. Are you not feeling inspired? Are you afraid to use a tool or material you've never worked with before? Is the project too large and you feel overwhelmed? Do you have other time commitments getting in the way?
Do your research about how to accomplish your project or use the product you've never used before.
Make a list of things you need to do to accomplish the project then sort them by priority if necessary for your project.
Choose the smallest or most pressing item first depending on your project.
For her design dilemmas The bathroom - paint if you can a warmer color, change the light bulbs to warm white. Add pretty but functional storage if you have space on the blank wall. maybe a pretty cabinet to store towels and other bathroom essentials. you can put a pretty stool next to the bathtub to put a candle and bathsalts on. Add bathroom friendly art to the wall, you can find pretty art prints on etsy to frame and make an interesting gallery wall.
The kids bedroom - the person provided photos, she could have done a mock design. I'm sure she has programs to layer pictures to the provided pic to show how to transform the space with a rug, curtains, where to put the bed and reading nook.
If she insists on keeping the podcast on YouTube she should be adding pictures of inspiration boards or video clips of stuff she worked on when she's talking about spaces but she rarely does that. We are just watching her talk to herself.

Other times he'll say it is when I ask him rightful questions, like, "why are you still looking up your old states arrest records everyday to see if you ex has been arrested" tell him love and hate is a thin line. He "hates" his ex to his core and wants to see her arrested which I highly doubt will happen.
He had a "middle school friend" who only posted pole dancing videos. Meanwhile he told me she was a ballerina. Literally made me laugh out loud. I didn't feel comfortable with him following her(he had many exes/old sex partners who were strippers/posted sexual things that he was still liking/following as well that I wasn't comfortable with) when I told him I wasn't comfortable with it, he just goes "great l'm losing another friend” which he has many female friends who I think are cool, and have zero problem with him talking to/following. But not the ones you're only looking at their sexual content and used to fuck. AlTA??
Anyways after I bring that up, or how I don't like that he watches so much porn to the point he can't touch me, he tells me to pack my shit and leave if I have such a problem with it. Then will apologize the next day, tell me I'm right and he removes them.
Well he said it again one night and that was it. I started packing my shit. I grabbed garbage bags and was packing my clothes. He came back to the room and told me to stop. I said nope. I told you if you say it again I'm done. It's hurtful and it means you're okay to throw away our relationship just because you can't have an adult conversation. He then started yelling at me. He grabbed me and threw me on the bed and yelled so loudly, "fucking stop!!" was obviously shocked and stopped. Hes never grabbed me like that.
He's said it so many times after and then will apologize in the morning, saying he didn't mean it and he just wants to have some kind of "ammo". Now it's gotten to the point where l'm waiting for it. I will pack my shit and leave. Even if it is the next morning.
Also believe it or not, this is the only time we EVER argue. That's why him telling me to "just leave" catches me so off guard and hurts. We have so much fun together sober, and not sober. It's only when he or I bring a concern up.
Even when he's not drunk, just a beer or two, he still says it. Then apologizes the next day.
My question is, is this normal, is this okay? Does this mean he doesn't truly love me? Would you leave?
What do I do. l've talked to him about this so many times after he apologizes or on a random sober day telling him he cannot say that to me, he'll agree. Then it happens again.

Here’s the situation…
My husband (46 M) and I (40 F) have been together since 2016. We have been married since 2020. In the beginning we had amazing sex, usually twice a day. Once we brought our kids (two each from previous marriages), home ownership, pets into the mix life got way more stressful and sex frequency went down to 3-4 times per week. We have had an incredibly rough past few years due to blended family stress, but seem to be working toward better times with a therapist and more active engagement with one another.
The first thing that happened was him telling me a dumb lie about buying some edibles, which coincided with him turning off his location and doing secretive ATM withdrawals. I didn’t care and have never told him not to use them, so the whole things was very strange to me. The issue was that it put me on high alert about everything because it was so suspicious and I just had a gut feeling things were not completely in the open.
Not long after, I realized that I was walking in to the living room and he would abruptly put his phone face down on the couch. Also, I have long known that mornings on the couch are his preferred spot for masterbation, so I naturally assumed that was it, but it bothered me nonetheless because it seemed sneaky. At one point I just asked him directly why he seemed to do that so often. He acted like it was nothing and even let me look at his phone. So I saw he was on facebook/instagram and nothing weird seemed to be going on except some messages being exchanged between him and a female that he said he knew from like 20 years earlier. Their last message was a pseudo plan for them to “maybe” meet if she ended up in our area. I had no clue of these potential plans and was a bit irked by the correspondence. After I looked at his phone and asked him about her, I don’t think they have communicated.
Eventually, these concerns started to abate, then he told me a stupid lie again last week. He said he was in a meeting for work, and I could very clearly see by his location that he was not there, but at another place. Again, I was only upset about the lie because it was so unnecessary and hurtful for him to just tell me something so nonchalantly that wasn’t true. I brought it up to him and he said he brain farted and that was all. I don’t accept this as a logical excuse but had to let it go for my own sanity.
Lately, he has been taking some pills given to him by his dad (weird, I know) that are basically viagra. I was surprised because I didn’t feel like he needed them, but he also doesn’t take them all the time, so it hasn’t bugged me too much. However, last night, I know he took one and so I assumed we would have sex (which I wanted to). He basically stayed on his phone until he turned off the light and went to sleep without showing me any interest at all. It really bothered me because our sex life has been waning and he seems so much less interested in sex lately.
This morning he got up for work and I was awake so I decided to get sneaky myself to see exactly who is looking at when he masterbates. As I started around the corner I could clearly see that he was masterbating, so I tried to see what he was looking at on his phone. Instead of hide and be weird I walked around the corner and asked him what he was looking at assuming he knew that I had caught him in the act. He opened and then showed me his instagram with a jiu jitsu video (two males). I know this wasn’t what he was really looking at, unless he has a fetish which would really surprise me. Also, I caught a glimpse of his screen as I walked around the corner and it did not look the same. I gave him a weird look and said, “that was what you were masterbating to?” He didn’t reply. I got my coffee and when back to my bedroom. I haven’t said anything to him and he hasn’t said anything to me since.
Here’s my insecurity (I recognize this fully)… I feel very rejected by him and also feel that these small lies are a part of something bigger going on with him. I am confident that he is masterbating to girls on his facebook and the sneakyness and other odd occurrences have me completely questioning what is going on with our marriage. I seriously feel like I’m crazy for how this all makes me feel.
I just need advice from some neutral, realistic people who have insight or experience with this type of situation.
