I DONT KNOW how to tell the difference between what is a normal baseline of positive satisfaction with life, and what is hypomania. It's really causing me distress. I feel the most "myself" when I'm apparently hypomanic. My episodes aren't super extreme, but it does happen. Honestly though, the depression is much more of a problem.
When I'm feeling grey, emotionless, and withdrawn, I feel like someone else took the reins of my brain. I miss my true self like a friend that I love and haven't gotten to hang out with in a while. I like myself and I'm good company to myself, when I'm feeling alright.
I have many flaws, mistakes, and regrets. but at my best, I am generally known in my friend group as a bubbly, vivacious, and fun person to hang out with. I'm "joie de vivre" in one of my friends' phone. When I am unable to be this version of myself, I hide away from the world. My friends love and support me no matter what, but I feel incapable of human interaction when I'm depressed. I have a positive outlook in general, I keep hope alive, I feel deep gratitude often... I do my best to not have pity parties, I try to take as good care of myself as i can to get through the darkness, I know I always do, somehow. It's still so scary and disheartening.
I don't know how to discern what is "normal" and what is hypomania. It's eating me up inside. Am I who I think I am? Will I only feel normal when I'm hypomanic? If I stay on this medication, will I always feel kinda grey and never have those magic moments feeling so happy and enthusiastic and playful? I miss having fun just because, for no reason, and making my friends laugh. I miss having a really wonderful day, instead of just normal days feeling rather nothing, even when I'm doing the activities I love. :( does anyone else feel like this? How do I deal with these feelings. I just want to be happy and feel like myself. I know I don't need to be happy every day, and it's ok that life is sometimes boring and mundane. I'm ok with that, but this empty feeling sucks ass.
I know it's not healthy, and I'm not going to stop taking my meds (Haven't missed a dose since 2021). but I almost feel like I would rather suffer through depression and also have those highs, than feel this dull way for the rest of my life. I miss my fun self who cracks me up every day, is full of ideas, makes creative projects, does sweet things for other people, writes music, does spontaneous things, sucks the marrow out of life. Resigning to a duller version of life feels like a death. I'd rather suffer and continue using it as fuel for my art. How do I accept this change :( I hate it.

I am currently in university about to turn 21. I've been in a dark place with stuff going on in my life for past couple years, and as if that wasn't enough about one year ago I've come to the realization that I miss being a child, everything about it even school, so I feel like "miss" is an understatement. I couldn't wait to grow up and be independent and everybody was telling me to enjoy being a child, and how much I'm going to miss it, being stubborn I obviously didn't listen to them, but I wish I did. I also feel like I've wasted my childhood since I was shy, quiet, didn't have much friends, didn't really go out, etc.. still when I look back I miss every moment, every single one. Even though I know that no matter what I do, I cannot go back, so I should get over it, I just cannot. How do you get over it? Do you ever get over it?

Bought a house in my hometown. Day before I do my home inspection, a family member of mine walked to a family grave of ours in town and was accosted by a soon to be neighbor ( old dude a few houses down, not next to me ) acusing him of peepin in windows in houses in town, took cell phone pictures etc.. It's a very small rural town. Dude has legal walking streets/paths on front and back of his .2 acre looking property. His house is shit (apparently sold it but still lives there idk). My mom (in her 60s, double knee replacemens, hardly a threat to anyone), trying to defend my family member when they returned home to tell her the story, returned to the old dudes house to inquire about the treatment of my family member. He apparently knew who she was and told her to "get the fuck off of his property". She said "well fuck you too" as she turned around promptly and went off of his porch to return to her vehicle. He sprung from his house (was talking through a screen door the whole time apparently) and proceeds to kick my mom in her back (because she was walking away already). Dude has a no trespassing sign. Cops said they both could be at fault. No one thought to record the altercation. Nothing happened. I wasn't present for any of it.There is no dad figure, it's kind of me as the male role model.
If it matters, I learned Dude got divorced and had a stoke. Good morning and apologies, the following is a bit of a rant.
I have been living in Berlin (on and off) since the 80s, so I am used to generally rude behaviour of motorists. However, what I am not used to (yet) is being nearly run over at green pedestrian lights -- this happened to me this morning TWICE.
First time when crossing a traffic light with my daughter on the way to her KiLa. White transport van comes at high speed from behind and turns right INTO US, missing us by maybe 20-30 cm. Drives on completely unfazed. Lady crossing the other way just said "Das war knapp" (Berlin speak for "You are lucky to be alive, mate").
Second time on my way to the tram. Pedestrian crossing on InvalidenstraĆe (long stretch between Lehrter Str and Alt-Moabit -- they put a pedestrian crossing in the middle, so that pedestrians like me can cross the street safely, LOL). Stepped about 2-3m into the street (green pedestrian light, all cyclists and tram nicely waiting), when a boomer wagon with a confused looking boomer couple suddenly shoots past in front of me (half a meter to a meter) at about 40-50 kph. The driver was probably focussing on the NEXT traffic light at Alt Moabit and really really wanted to catch the green phase over there.
How the fcuk is this normal??? How are you supposed to safely cross a road at a light when motorists are totally happy to kill you for the convenience of not having to stop??
In future, I will look twice, even at green lights, if I am the only one crossing the road. But I don't think even that would have prevented the delivery van from running into me and my daughter from behind (unless I get a 360Ā° LIDAR on my head).

The story begins in 1968 on one of the deepest freshwater lakes, crater lake in Washington state. Marc a 23 year old explorer, loved camping fishing just getting away from it all. Marc grew up in a smaller town Moses Lake Washington. Its located off the interstate in between Spokane and Seattle Washington, Marc decided he wanted to go explore the crater Lake area only telling his mother and father where he was headed. āExpect me back in a weekā Marc said bags packed loaded into his 2015 ford explorer.
He pulled out of the driveway waving goodbye to his mother. Little did they know this was the last time they would see eachother due to the events about to unfold. Marc jammed his favorite tunes the whole 3 hour trip to crater lake. He was there found his campsite right away, nobody was within a 300 yards of his secluded little spot. He unpacked put up his tent and was ready for a hike.
It was 330 in the afternoon on day 1 of his little vacation. When he took off on a steep rugged trail that made its way around the lake. Marc never was one to stay on the beaten path as he liked to explore and go places not many others have ever gone. After getting his fill of sights and feeling exhausted and hungry. Marc decided it was time to make his way back to camp. He made dinner drank a few beers that he enjoyed while camping and turned in for the night.
It was a quiet night and Marc found himself fast asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow, The next morning Marc was up early made some breakfast and packed a lunch for the long eventful day ahead. His plan being to go off the beaten path again and find some little streams to fish along the way. Marc hiked about 3-4 hours off the main trail and found a beautiful crystal clear brook with rapids flowing into some deeper holes.
Perfect for catching brook trout and that he did. using a panther Martin black with yellow dots and a silver spoon to mimic baitfish and it was the color that was always his go to. It wasnāt but his second cast and a nice 1lb brookie nailed his spinner and put up a little fight before Marc landed it and immediately gutted it and stored it away. Brook trout are one of best eating trout. Marc continued to climb up the stream to higher elevations hitting hole after home along the way.

Teamwork makes the dreamwork!"* the text for the loading screen also references several things, but I just want to highlight this one for now: [from Horizon's POV] 'I remember the young woman in E-District, taunting me about my boy and showing me the card that got her into Apex Games.' obviously, we have seen none of these things happen yet. so what gives? why didn't they upload this launch trailer? did they forget? are they having a licensing issue with music they're using for it? was it unfinished? deleted by the animation company out of spite? well, i present to you my conspiracy theory: Apex was supposed to release a new map this season. It didn't work out. firstly: this horizon and alter battlepass screen does not appear to be set in any known location. now, full disclaimer, i straight up don't play mixtape so i'm unfamiliar with its maps. it looks to be inside a large facility or in an outdoor industrial area of some sort, though details are hard to see. i thought at first flance it was artillery on KC but the area is incredibly dark, and i don't see why a trailer would randomly set it at night. but to be honest, i don't really need to speculate if this is from an unknown area, because-- the characters reference Suotamo several times, either in voicelines or loading screens: Alter, to Lifeline: "You're not good at this, are you? Reminds me of Suotamo." In the referenced line from earlier: 'I remember the young woman in E-District, taunting me about my boy and showing me the card that got her into Apex Games.' as we know, E-District / Electro District is an area of Suotamo; specifically, the power grid, which had been affected by that storm on Gaea. this area apparently contains a tower that would've been incredibly useful to Horizon, as she reflects in her loading screen: Horizon "[...] That bloody tower in Electro District was the only thing that might've worked!" [Mirage] "And, uh, I guess the blackouts and Void creep kinda took those out of the equation huh?" unfortunately, i don't have any more loading screens unlocked, so i don't know if there are many more concrete references, but to me, this paints a clear enough picture: this season was supposed to debut Suotamo. from everything we know, what happened in the trailer was probably- Alter enters the Games, perhaps as Newcastle's teammate. She treats their third (either Lifeline or Mirage, both are equally as likely) as disposable which prompts Newcastle to make all his slightly passive aggressive comments in-game. they are in Suotamo for whatever reason; perhaps as a result of what has happened on Broken Moon, leaving the games one arena short. then one of two things happen: 1.) Alter notices the damage done to Suotamo, specifically E-Distritct and decides to make it Worse, or 2.) she single-handedly fucks up Suotamo once again. I am leaning towards option 1, because of the way Mirage describes the situation, referencing both the blackouts occuring and Alter contributing. Whatever she does destroys a tower in E-District, and possibly endangers others' lives (cue Lifeline's voiceline about 'what ya did to us', though that could easily also be referencing Alter's poor treatment of her teammates; or perhaps her poor treatment of them occured during this moment.) and then, at some point, Horizon pulls a gun on Alter. this could either be because Alter destroyed the tower in E-District, which she needed, or because Alter taunted Horizon about Newton. outside of discussing the theoretical events of the trailer; Suotamo has been building up for a couple of seasons. there are many references to it in wattson's town takeover and we have been told some locations (E-District, Old Town). we also saw what looks a lot like a finished or near-finished map 6 months ago in kill code part 4. this may also explain why the teasers for this season were kind of sparse until being dumped on us last minute: there were supposed to be map teasers, too. we did technically get the BM changes and "Olympus" crashing into BM but...this event feels, like, really understated by everyone? nobody is really reacting all that much in the lore to BM's changes except for Seer and Catalyst in the first chapter, and judging by the description, they may be the only ones reacting. here's what i think happened: due to unforseen circumstances, Suotamo's release had to be pushed back. the original plan was for Suotamo to debut, and then for BM's map update to debut after it either in the season split or in the next season. major map changes after events like this have put maps out of rotation for a while. however, since Suotamo was unexpectedly pushed back, but BM's changes were ready to go, they decided to move it up. this is why nobody is really reacting at all to an alternate-universe Olympus crashing into BM, and are instead referencing Suotamo: Suotamo was supposed to be, like, The Thing this season. and this season's quest may be about Seer and Catalyst discovering the truth about what happened to BM...which would have been revealed next season. all of this means that the team suddenly has a launch trailer showcasing a map that is not in the game, and will not be coming out for a minute, so they pull it. and since BM's map changes were supposed to debut next season, they did not have a trailer for that ready yet, so now we get no launch trailer at all. obviously, a lot of this is a tinfoil hat conspiracy. i think there is definitely A trailer out there, taking place in Suotamo, where Alter destroys something and shoves Lifeline in a broom closet and gets a gun pulled on her by Horizon, but i don't know for sure if a map was supposed to come out this season and that BM's map changes were moved up early due to its delay. but it is simply the explanation that makes the most sense to me. please feel free to correct me or point out info that debunks this whole thing. it is 2am and i shouldve been in bed 3 hours ago. benoit blanc, quack--i mean frog--detective, out. |

hi, im a 19(F) who in the past year has dealt with two ghosters who used to be my irl friends, but slowly begun to dislike me overtime for some reason - for this first ghoster, we will call them Apple and for the second ghoster, we will call her Banana for privacy reasons
so letās start with Apple. iāve been friends with Apple for 7 years (middle school-high school) and while we werenāt close close because of our different interests, weāve gotten each other thoughtful and meaningful birthday gifts and talked on social media a lot ā when we were seniors in high school, which was last year, after our winter break they had begun to ignore me on social media - we still saw each other irl so i thought nothing of it, but i still felt some sort of loneliness and lack of closeness from them. in may (last year) when we graduated, apple was still ignoring my messages so i decided to only text them every few months as to not bother them - around oct, i had checked one of our social media to see that they soft blocked me, and i assumed they had done so in the middle of summer sometime. they had also gotten into new interests within that time, something i actually knew about so that we couldāve had a convo - it never happened.
in nov, i had asked one of their friends if she knew how apple was doing, and the friend didnāt feel comfortable telling me (which i respected) so then on thanksgiving, i messaged apple for closure and an explanation in hopes of finally getting a response - still nothing. apple was even online, and completely ignoring and ghosting me. it really hurt me.
things soon took an invasive turn. in december, i had continued to respectfully ask appleās other friends if they knew anything about apple ghosting me. they said no. i even offered to give one of them context via my text messages with apple, which i know now was a complete inappropriate move on my part, because even if i didnāt actually send them, i still considered sending them, which is wrong. i was desperate to find out the truth. apple unfriended me on social media for talking with their friend, but didnāt completely block me yet.
in mid january, our friendship ended. i was still feeling desperate and needing to know why apple ghosted me. so i messaged another one of their friends to ask if they knew anything about me being ghosted (i did not send anything personal). the friend had no idea but told me that they would show apple our conversation.
(i also put apple in my dni on my new social media account, made a sarcastic comment abt them ghosting me but also allowing them to message me if they wanted. i was feeling spiteful and annoyed at the time)
i soon got an angry, harsh message from apple.
the message was basically that i lost the right to know why they stopped talking to me (remember this for later), disrespected apple for wanting to share our personal information and relentlessly bothering their friends. (i do agree on that part and it is my fault, although i was very respectful when they all said they had no idea and i apologized to them all) ā apple also said they didnāt ghost themselves from me, but rather distanced themselves from me ā as they said, i agree thatās completely fine and normal - however, it becomes a problem when you donāt say youāre going to distance yourself from said person, because apple still had me added on other social media before that day, and apple gave me a heartfelt message in our yearbook (but I actually never got to write in theirs) - so ofc i got mixed signals
anyways, apple basically told me to get a life off my phone and that they will never contact me again. okay, i accept that (except the āgo touch grassā part that was uncalled for, but it was the heat of the moment so i understand their anger) ā now, remember the ālost the right to know why i stopped talking to youā? - apple constricted themselves a few sentences later saying that they didnāt want to make a big deal ending a backboned friendship (of 7 years, mind you!), which im assuming implies that they never valued our friendship as much as i did. (ofc sometimes our friendship was rocky at times, but i always apologized in the end.)
one thing that makes me mad abt the message is that apple never took responsibility for their actions that begun all of this, never once replying to my messages and even knowing how much i was hurting from the closure message i sent them two months ago, they did not care about my feelings in the slightest - i know they said they would never contact me again, but at least think of the happy memories we had once before and once youāve come down from your anger, take the responsibility as i did. but i guess i wasnāt worth it.
afterwards, i ended up breaking down and crying a few days later because the deserved hurtful message really made me feeling upset for weeks - I even vented to my own friends about the whole situation but idk i feel like some of them didnāt really care or just got annoyed with me because i did the invasive thing and probably still are so i felt like i couldnāt talk about my own feelings with anyone and take in my sadness alone
itās been a few months since then so iāve moved on from my first ghoster and i still donāt have many irl friends to this day, but i do wish them the best, even if we ended on a sour note. iād say we were both at fault here, and it couldāve worked out had we just communicated and talk it out. but i suppose weāre better off and maybe we were just too toxic for one another. i am still sorry for everything that went wrong. i can only hope my first ghoster is too, deep down.
now to you all, iāve told you mainly everything that happened without leaving any important details out. i wanted to share my mistakes with you and not keep it in the dark, because itās important to own up to them. ik im just a throwaway account here, but i hope you can see where i was coming from, even if it was an unconventional method. i am sorry. i would really appreciate it if you guys donāt entirely focus on that part, but if you need to, i understand.

A conversation with a few friends of mine some skins have certain audiences to them and certain people will pick them more than others that's just the nature of people, and sometimes these people can be fit into certain groups, and certain stereotypes which is also nature of people. So I will be talking about these stereotypes, with 4-8 champs at a time depending on how many skins they have, starting with- Not androxus- but some general skin types etc.
Let me start off by saying that stereotypes are broad, and over generalized by nature, and not everyone is the same we're not Buzz Lightyear here, at the very least these are meant for fun.
They're most likely new at the game, or at the very least their champion.
Certain recolours will be brought up again per champion if they add anything different or have a different stereotype.
And they're very against nerfs every time pretending it'll kill Ambrosia and every time he's just fine maybe the fact he's got a solid baseline kit means he's not struggling when nerfs come knocking. Either way it doesn't stop the complaints.
Often Anglo (Okay the bits running thin) players take themselves seriously, whether you should depends, and depends alot. But he does inevitably attract edgelords, assholes, and blowhards.
As for stereotypes there is a few thing that I've noticed with Ash's (Ashes? Ashs? Ash players) First is if they're running the default voice pack even with other skins they're definitely offtanking.
And another oddity is the Ash mains that have more than one skin tend to never properly match their weapons and skins up, it's weird but every other Ash main I see runs a different weapon and skin.
These guys just suck
So yeah 5 champs, feel free to suggest anything for future champions I'll probably see or agree with them.

Basic Recolours
The recolours you can buy for gold often attract semi-new players those that got the champions they like and often will spend "extra" gold on recolours.They're most likely new at the game, or at the very least their champion.
Certain recolours will be brought up again per champion if they add anything different or have a different stereotype.
System Recolours/Promotional Recolours
So these guys probably are more likely to be even newer than the basic recolours since they got them from linking accounts or following/subscribing to different social media and all that.Mastery/Gold Skins
Assuming it's gold they're probably confident in their skill with a champion and want to display that, but with the obsidian and cosmic ones they tend to be the same as basic and promotional recolours.Invitational/Event Recolours
Okay so we're done with recolours after this I promise but often these are old school players, often ignoring the actual quality of skins to more say that's when they were around.Hats
Hats are kinda the same as the event/invitation recolours but they can also be found on new players who got the hat from a chest, in general if they have a proper skin they'll dump these for the skin so at the very least that leaves semi experienced players who finds the frog hat more funny than they do the cowboy cool.Androxus

Exalted Andros tend to hold themselves in high regard but at the same time tend to suck, they bought this skin since it was cheap and with it are often not that great.Imperator
So imperator is basically the same as exalted in looks but it does have the caveat that it's actually not as readily available which means someone has to make a active choice to run this, these guys are pretty much more for simplicity and class over complexity and fancy stuff, this means you'll see them play pretty good Andro where they'll stick to the stuff that works rather than flashy montage worthy stuff, they can do these but they more prefer understated competency over flashy nonsense.Screech
This is a hat that actually has a stereotype since it's not apart of a chest it's from the deal of the day that makes a difference to who is using it. These guys are mostly raging blowhards, they think they're gods at the game but they're not as good as they believe, like antlers they say crap but not enough to get banned. This changes to just normal tryhards when they get their hands on shattermaw, almost every Andro with this skin and shattermaw are more interested in shitting on you and moving on to the next, they really only do really good in casuals without comms, but they can get work done in ranked.Cangaceiro
Okay so this guy either uses the Shatter Maw and same deal as Screech Andro's or they run they Huntsman's gun and if you get to talk to them in a party or something they'll cry about how the pirate skins in Paladins Strike aren't ported over to paladins. It's weird and it's specific. They do tend to be nicer and less serious than Screech Andros.Huntsman
These are the most average Andro's in existence, they certainly exist but they're not too interesting all considering. They're not bad or good, or particularly toxic or nice or anything like that, they just exist.Steam Demon
I mean there's a Young Frankenstein joke to be made here. But Andro's running the steam demon skin tend to be uptight and expect people to carry their own weight... Of course the chance they tend to mess up they go silent, they're not rude perse but they sure do expect a lot.Fallen

So I bring this hat up because unlike anyone else with a hat skin no one wears this, honestly it should just come with a different version of Ronin but really this is the exception to the hatskin rule, these guys are just new players who got it from a chest and felt justified in using it because they spent crystals on a chest.Ronin
Ronin Ash players kinda just suck, it can be a matter of many different things as to why these guys struggle, they could suck at shooting people, they could be bad at positioning, trying to point tank, they're using their abilities at shit times, they could be great with all of that and still they'll have a terrible deck and talents.These guys just suck
Xenobuster
Xenobuster Ash players tend to run into fights they shouldn't and lose, this more or less comes from the overuse of shoulder bash, otherwise they're probably running knock back spam, they're most likely to be found on TDM Throne or Abyss trying to wait around corners to throw you off. They will go spastic if you buy sentinel.Street Style
These guys are meatheats, they're less interested in actually capturing the point and more just want teamfights, the objective and space are biproducts, as such you'll see these guys with really selfish buys, and decks, and they'll steal kills with slugshot, they're not doing it intentionally but they are rude.Ska'Drin
Ska'Drin Ash players often properly play Ash as offtank and for the most part are good sports, it's nice enough at least when these guys are working with you, they will probably ask for someone to point tank while they do their thing.Scorned
Another recolour with a different stereotype, these guys are also playing Ash as offtanks but their also raging assholes, and will bitch and moan from just about anything, whether it's their fault or not they'll yell at their team, though at the same time they are probably making space, and do their job well enoughDraconian Huntress
As mentioned earlier Ash mains tend to be rather rare, and the amount of people who'd go out of their way for this skin is rarer, these guys pretty much are guaranteed to be Ash mains or at the very least skin collectors. Atlas mains are pretty much obsessed with telling you they're Atlas mains it's like telling people you don't play fortnite or something. Like good on you mate, but I and I'm pretty sure most of the world don't really care. Skill ranges wildly and skins for the most part don't really change that.Chronomancer

I was contemplating the performance of beauty today and those two big schools of thought on how women should pragmatically interact with their perception of their own beauty. So theres we all are all beautiful/physically attractive i.e your stretch marks are sexy-all of you is sexy, gorgeous, and to be desired. The things you don't like about yourself are actually quite pretty. And then theres maybe your stretch marks are ugly, but you are not obligated to be beautiful and it is not your job to be consumable. Maybe you're not good looking, but that is not a personal failing or crime. You are human, your only obligation is to be a good human.
I think these two stances are really interesting and I'm wondering if either really serves the black woman. I'm a black woman that heavily participates in beauty culture- I curate my look based on both what makes me happy and what will elicit the best treatment in my daily life. But of course this is colored by the weight of it all, patriarchy, anti-blackness, fatphobia, capitalism and so on in the end. Theres no way it couldn't be. I'm a very log in and play the game kind of person because at the end of it theres a difference in the quality of life.
So when it comes to young black girls, I want to shower them in compliments. I want them to know they're pretty, smart, worthy, someone worth showing up for with a dozen flowers of her choice. That they are deserving of the performance and dance of romantic attraction if she wants that. I can't really imagine dropping the "pretty" would be helpful to black girls. In this system I feel like it is quite important for black girls and women to feel beautiful and desired and that while the it doesn't matter stance probably offers true freedom in the end, it would hurt black girls in the meantime. Being told youre undesirable because you're say, dark skin, and then hearing well being ugly is fine don't sweat it is eeeeeh to me.
And I say that to say I really do think beauty not mattering and that being ugly is okay should be the end goal! It just seems lightyears away and that if I was to institute that line of thought that maybe I would end up seeing more pain in the meantime. Like until it's safe to be ugly we will just have to be beautiful.
Yeah idk, this might be a lot lol but it's honest. What thought process has served you guys the happiest path? And what do you think should be taught to young black girls?

So Iāve been thinking about this game for a long time, but nothing I search seems to bring me any luck. I feel like this might be a shot in the dark but itās worth trying. I played it sometime in my childhood on an IPad. It was essentially PokĆ©mon, so I would say it was an adventure game. I unfortunately cannot remember what year it would be for the life of me, or if the game was new or old when I played it, but it was likely somewhere around 2012-2016? It had a BEAUTIFUL art style, I want to say hand drawn but professionally. It was an extremely well made game. Sort of like ābread kittensā, but much more cleanly drawn, but a similar layout to that game. I donāt think where was any specific characters, but rather enemies youād meet in the way. The game was essentially going through different levels, which were maze like, with a clear path and a start and finish, collecting these characters, and fighting the enemy at the end to get to the next level. There PokĆ©mon type creatures were super unique and not like PokĆ©mon at all, but themed around different elements. The things I remember most is the beginning, I swear there was some sort of boat in the sky that brought you to the island. There was also multiplayer battles in an arena type area. I know this is a bit generic, but it was a really well made game and besides the concept of catching and fighting creatures, didnāt feel like a rip off at all. It definitely has a community around it somewhere

after a lot of thinking and ruminating i've decided it would be best for my now former SO and i to part ways. i am not much of a friend to anybody here nor am i a big name so i'm really just posting this more for myself, please do not feel like you have to reply or say anything... we were together for a little over 9 months. i still like them as a fan but there were just too many factors at play, most of them my fault, i'm too high maintenance and too insecure, always feeling jealous and anxious.. and i have also felt like they were changing in ways that made us more incompatible. i don't know how to explain it any more clearly without giving away who it is, so i apologize. i still respect them and wish them the best. and i am sorry to have wasted so much of their time. even though i know this is probably better for both of us i still feel weird and uneasy about it, but i guess that's just how breaking up goes. it is still tough for me to see people online being hateful or weird towards them. i hope they can stay strong, they have lots of friends so i hope there is a good support system in place for them... thank you for the good times and the fun, i will always be thankful for you pulling me out of a dark place. and i'm sorry for being so stupid

Xavier McKinney: field general, green dot, do everything, a little box, a little post, a little split, a little slot.
Bullard: every thing X does but no green dot. I think Hafley will blitz Nixon and pick up Noxon's man a lot.
Evan Williams: mostly box, lot of blitzes, subs for Bullard on run downs, plays some underneath Zones and occasional man against TEs but not much.
Kitan Oladapo: box only safety and dime LB, blitzes a fair bit. Underneath Zones. Very occasional man vs. larger TEs. Subs in for Bullard in even more likely run situations. Dime LB.
Williams and Oladapo probably have more limited packages than above because the rookies, but the could work towards that.
Quay and Coop will do everything. Lot of blitzing. Hopper will alternate with McDuffie at SAM. His primary role will be to take on blocks.
Though I expect the run fits from the safeties will be quite a bit better this year since we'll have a safety closer than 20 yards to the line of scrimmage.
Also Williams, Hopper, and Oladapo's primary jobs will be to cover punts and kicks.
Gutey has really assembled a great roster and I think we finally have a DC who can use them properly.

It's going to be way easier to get you guys battle reports more consistently!
Today's battle report is the lowest point score I've ever played; a 300 point duel inside an urban setting! Perhaps this is a small part of a larger engagement of sorts?
This game features a unique layout that would be hard to replicate in physical play; a bridge over a deep river. The dark blue of the river counts as Deep Water terrain; furthermore, it's the lowest level of elevation, so the pavement, bridge, and buildings (which are High Ground anyway) all count as High Ground against the river. The centermost control point is the bridge's center, making it a deadly choke point!
Being an ultra low point game, squad composition is absolutely crucial. You have very little to work with, so you need to maximize your forces with what's available.
Principality of Zeon
Yours truly is running the Zeeks again. My strategy is simple; lock down the center lane, and try to buff cannon fodder to punch above their weight class. I've chosen a Zaku I Sniper as my unit to build around; I've upgraded them to an Ace, and made them my Commander. I'm going to give him Grand Strategist and Commando, making him extremely hard to target, able to give my Zaku I's and II's free Focus Actions en masse, and lock down the center lane while on top of a building, trying to cover my advancing forces.
Daisucc again is my opponent. He has a smaller team with a diverse set of weapons; three GM Ground Types, and a GM Striker Ace as his Commander. His Ace has Elusive and Close Combat Expert; both very complementary to its strengths. However, that's not what has me worried; it's a close combat Ace with Decimator. This is actually an extremely potent choice, because he could easily use Tear Through The Ranks on a unit with a highly proven track record to swing Momentum in his favor, putting us at a difference of FIVE if successful. We're only starting with three! I will need to play this very, very carefully.
In a rare turn of events, I win the die roll! I distribute my Focus Actions to my Zaku IIās and a Zaku I. I start off with an artillery barrage, trying to force Daisuccās hand. He responds by targeting the cover of his assailant directly, blasting down the building and toppling it. Uncool, man!
I push forward with a Zaku II, trying to get pressure on the bridge. He sends out his Machine Gun GM, and puts a few rounds into him. Fortunately, that means my Zaku I Sniper can cleanlyā¦
ā¦not kill the GM? Didnāt roll as well as Iād hoped, because my opponent pops two Momentum to save him. Bleh. Fortunately, my Zaku II survives the Beam Rifler attacking him, and my other Magella Cannon Zaku II finished off the Machine Gunner. His GM Striker vainly fires off his Machine Gun before taking cover behind aā¦ weāll say an exceptionally largeā¦ truck, of sorts, on the bridge. My Zaku Iās take up High Ground positions to conclude the Round.
Round 2
This round was a blur, because it mostly involved a lot of people shooting at each other, missing, and just barely being out of one anotherās ranges. Our strategies have us at odds; he needs to advance to cause havoc, but I have the range and numbers advantage, 3-to-1 at this point. I need to hold back until the right time, or the Striker Ace will make victory impossible, using my larger team size against me. He manages to knock out my Zaku II on the bridge, but has to retreat behind cover in order to not get wiped against my many High Ground Zaku Iās with Focus Actions. Itās tense!
Round 3
My opponent wins the die roll. He advances his Bazooka GM out from cover, and knocks out a Zaku I that had crossed the river with Full Throttle last round. However, the other Machine Gun Zaku II on the bridge responds by jumping on the ātruck,ā using the Accelerate Pilot Skill to get the position, use a Focus Action and High Ground to get four free hits, pluse another three from Rapid Fireā¦
And rolls a bunch of crits! He has enough movement to hop down to protect himself.
Weāre getting somewhere now, but thereās a problem. See, my higher quantity of forces leaves me with the distinct risk of my opponent earning too many Victory Points to win, especially if I canāt nail down the Striker Ace. At this point, my opponent is actually tying the game 2-2ā¦ and the Striker could turn this around very fast.
This is emphasized by the Beam Rifle GM popping on the building itās behind with Accelerate, putting a clean hole in the cockpit of my Zaku II with a Magella Cannon across the bridge with Tactical Advantage, and hopping back down. 3-2. Shit.
I continue to jockey for positions, moving my Zaku I Sniper off its perch with Full Throttle, with a new strategy in mindā¦
Round 4
I win the die roll, and push my Zaku I Sniper forward JUST ENOUGH to get my opponent at 25.3 inches away. This is a crucial distance for the Zaku I Sniper; just within Sensors Range, just outside of Rapid Fire. This is the ideal kill distanceā¦ and also allows me to Target Lock, and shoot through the Strikerās coverā¦
But it lives! Augh! How?!
I lose another Zaku I. 4-2. Victory is looking poor, unless I get that Striker Ace, which would put us at 2-5ā¦ another Zaku I manages to use Rapid Fire and a Focus Action to knock it down. Itās real close to the GM Strikerā¦ this could be rough.
But, as my Magella Zaku II pops its Focus Action to get an extra hit on him, the cover of the Striker collapses! This is the crucial thing I needed to clinch the win! Exposed, it rapidly capitulates to Focus Action enhanced Machine Gun barrages, securing the win.
Conclusion
This was a fun, tense game! I feel that this couldāve swung in a different direction entirely if I wasnāt playing really conservatively. If my opponent had brought even one Artillery Cannon on a Ground Type or a Guntank MP, this couldāve been a very different game! Even still, his units were capable of much higher damage than my many, many cannon fodder units, and it was only through careful planning did I prevent my opponentās lethal strategy from properly going off.
