2024.05.10 12:22 FluffyRhino2099 Amalgam- Antiverse - New Project.

Summary: A new Amalgam Universe merges characters from DC Comics with their moral opposites from the Marvel Universe, chosen by their appeal and potential for compelling storylines and character dynamics. Witness the fleshing out and exploration of these characters through a gritty anthology of mature narratives, aiming to establish this universe as its own entity. These characters blur the lines between good and evil, promising an intriguing and nuanced exploration of morality.
Antiheroes will be merged together if necessary, and preferably if they're the reverse of eachother character role wise. (Example, im doing Deadpool + Peacemaker. Peacemaker is a overserious military hero with no powers with the guise as a patriot who is a joke and a terrible person. Deadpool is a lighthearted joking psychopath who is overpowered but is actually a nice guy and pretty heroic deep down. Kind of a reverse.
The Legionnaires (Legion of Doom + Avengers)
The Vanguard of Vigilance (Justice League + Masters of Evil)
The Supreme 4 (Superman Revenge Squad/Anti Superman Army/Anti Justice League + Fantastic 4)
Xavier Agency for MetaMutant Registration and Oversight / Task Force X-Men (Task Force X + X-Men)

2024.05.10 04:13 ByGraceandGingham FTM Registry Review: Seasoned parents, please give me your advice!

Hi! I’m a FTM due in August and my first shower is coming up in three weeks! I’m having three showers (one in my hometown, a co-ed one where I live now, and one with coworkers) and in total, there will be about 140 invites sent out. People are already starting to buy things, so I want to make sure I have all my bases covered, but I also don’t want to keep anything on the registry that’s a waste of money or impractical. Also please let me know if there’s anything on this list that’s unsafe! I did my best to do thorough research, but I feel like there were so many things to choose and think about! For reference, we live in the Midwest, so we have all four seasons, and we’re not finding out baby’s gender until birth. I will admit, I’m easily swayed by aesthetics and anxiety-based marketing, and I’m also a big planner, so I like feeling prepared, but I am well aware, this list feels like a lot. Please give me all the advice you have!

Please Help Valuing My Reed & Barton Tea Set
I picked these up at an estate sale in Canada a few weeks back and although all the information is right there on the markings, I am having a heck of a time getting information online on this exact design. Reed & Barton 3573 tea set without the tray. It looks like King Francis but is a bit less elaborate. Any help is appreciated!

2024.05.03 04:01 katanddog 2,000 Names (and their meanings) For Your Baby Boy found from a Vintage Mennen Company Booklet

My mom passed along this booklet that belonged to my grandmother when we were expecting. Figured I would share it here before discarding it. The Girl Name list is already posted 😊 Enjoy!
WHAT'S IN A NAME
Don't let the meanings concern you. Think instead of how the name will fit the child, when the child is grown, or known. Choose the name with care. It's very important to your baby-all through life. Here are some guides: - Say each name aloud, along with your own family name, to check rhythm and sound. - Use soft first names with sharp-sounding family names. - Use multi-syllable first names with short family names. - Avoid using a first name that ends with the same sound that starts the last name, such as "Jane Nevins." - Avoid "famous combinations" such as "Abraham" and "Lincoln." - Watch out for initials that spell out familiar letters, like “S. O. S”

2024.04.23 00:32 HawkFan907 2024 2 Round Mock Draft based on latest intel - Monday before the draft

The point of this post is to create a mock draft based on intel from NFL insiders and experts. Yes I know that sometimes they aren't well connected to your team. Yes I know that they don't confirm your priors. Yes, I also know that sometimes there are conflicting reports. Yes, I know that a lot of these are probably smokescreens. I don't care. This is my attempt to piece together what insiders are saying into a cohesive mock. A lot of folks can be in denial about some of these reports. That's fine. I'm not trying to make everyone happy, just to be as accurate to the intel as possible. Bill Belichick gave some more insight into mock drafts, saying that agents are the ones who leak the vast majority of the information before the draft, and the real stuff starts leaking about 12 hours before the draft kicks off.
*note*
I know to expect downvotes from fans of any team taking JJ McCarthy and any team not taking Drake Maye in the top few picks. Sorry, I have to stick to the rumors.
All of these nuggets are sourced from various well-connected draft experts. The list includes:
Kiper, Yates, Schefter, DJ, Miller, Rodgers, Brooks, Pauline, Brugler, etc.
TEAM SPECIFIC RUMORS
---DRAFT WEEK---
Schrager - Defensive players locked into Rd 1 Murphy, Turner, Latu, Arnold, Mitchell, Verse
ARI - Will be looking to trade down for the right price, and then likely look to move back up for a top 3 WR
ATL - A dark horse pick for ATL is Penix at No. 8
CHI - They are looking to move down from pick 9 and add a day 2 pick
LAC - They want out of their pick and Harbaugh wants OL
LAC - The O/U on LAC to snag Michigan players should be set to 2.5
LAR - May target a QB in Rd 1. They have ties to Nix.
LV - Love Daniels and will do what it takes to get him
MIN - Actively making calls to move up
NE - Actively receiving calls to move down from 3

SF - Aiyuk won't be on the roster following the draft
WAS - Most likely scenario is to stick at two and take Daniels
WAS - Will NOT be Drake Maye at #2
---4/19/24---
McShay said he'd be absolutely stunned if both the 4 and 5 picks were NOT traded
CHI - It was reported they they'd like to move from 9, but no indication on whther that means up or down (probably down)

NE - Maye had a great meeting with them and Kraft mentions that he wants a young QB
NYG - The Giants interest in JJ McCarthy is real
PIT - Expected to trade for Brandon Aiyuk
SEA - Rumored to still like Penix despite trading for Howell
WAS - Schefter is backing off of his Daniels to WAS *slightly*
WAS - They may be looking to package their 2nd round picks and move up for an elite lineman
---4/12/24---
ARI - Want a deal at least as good as the Niners made for Lance (3 firsts and a third) to move off of MHJ
BUF - May make a Julio Jones esque move up into the top 10 to snag a star WR
IND - may be looking to trade up for Brock Bowers
LAC - Again floated out that they want to tade down to fill holes on their roster
MIN - Sources say they prefer Maye to McCarthy but McCarthy may be a better fit in KOCs system
NE - Signs point to this team sticking at picking at 3 (Schefter)
NYG - Interest in QBs in the first point to a smokescreen to entice a team to move up
NYJ - May take either Odunze or Bowers but are also a sneaky trade back candidate
NYJ - have been cpnnected to Fuage since December, but Fautanu also has steam
SEA - Multiple teams have been reaching out about the #16 pick. They feel that it is the sweet spot for OT
TEN - Treylon Burks could be a draft day trade candidate
WAS - All signs point to WAS taking Daniels at 2 (Schefter)
WAS - Colin Cowherd spoke with a source inside WAS who claimed that Daniels WILL be the pick for the Commanders
WAS - A small verified account on X reports that the GM Peters is a big Drake Maye fan (probably to get likes from Commanders fans)

---4/05/24---
ARI multiple teams have said that ARI is the prime candidate to move back in the draft
DEN is trying to trade into the top 10 for a QB

MIN is looking to trade to either pick 3, 4, or 5 to grab Drake Maye
MIN like Drake Maye better than any other QB
NE GM Elliot Wolf is enamored with JJ McCarthy and is pushing to draft him
NYJ is looking to make win-now moves as Saleh and Douglas are both on the hot seat
PHI has not selected a DB in rd 1 since 2002. Howie prioritizes trenches and expect that to continue this year
WAS - Teams believe that Daniels is a better fit for the Kingsbury offense than Maye
WAS not planning to move off their pick
---3/29/24---
BAL to go OL after doing nothing in FA to address their needs
DAL Tyler Smith may kick out to LT if they can't land "their guy" on the edge
DEN and Bo Nix aren't connected at all this time around
LAC seem to indicate that they will solidify the OL before anything else
LV have explored moving into the top 3 for a QB
LV has been linked to Penix since the combine
LV will go OL if they don't snag a QB
MIA has been linked to Latu
MIN trade to pick 4 would be cost a minimum of 4 first round picks
NE doesn't love Drake Maye, prefer Daniels
NO likely to go BPA
NYG seem to be infatuated with Jayden Daniels but are being told that there is no way he gets out of the top 3
NYG seem to be really in on this QB class despite signing Lock as Jones' backup
SEA may try to move back to grab a 2nd round pick
WAS selecting JJ McCarthy at the owners meeting had a ton of buzz
WAS and NE are expected to stand pat with their picks and select QBs
QB
---DRAFT WEEK---
Penix's medicals don't seem to be an issue
Drake Maye may need to sit for a year due to his college system and decision making
Not a single person in the league he has talked to has Maye over Daniels - Todd McShay
---4/19/24---
Penix is not expected to fall out of the first round
Penix and Nix have the same betting odds (O/U 32.5)
Penix going top half of the first is still on the table
---4/12/24---
It is looking increasingly likely that Penix will be gone by the first half of the first round
Some scouts still feel Penix is a 2nd round pick
Bo Nix is a 2nd round pick, teams could move up to get him in round 2
---4/05/24---
Penix isn't graded as a first round pick according to every scout I've talked to (Miller)
Signs continue to point to WAS taking Daniels at 2
Expect a bidding war to take place between DEN and MIN if Maye makes it to pick 4. DEN can offer 12, 2025 1st, 2026 1st. MIN would have to beat that.
Multiple teams have McCarthy ahead of Maye
It would be a surprise if McCarthy doesn't go top 4
Rattler won't drop out of Round 2
Penix would be going higher if he had lost against Texas (Michigan exposed his flaws)
Penix could go in the top half of the first round
Some are still floating around the idea that WAS prefers McCarthy to Maye and Daniels
---3/29/24---
Teams have McCarthy as high as QB2 ahead of Drake Maye
Most likely trade partners are ARI and LAC in the top 5
Multiple teams have McCarthy ahead of Maye, including the Vikings and Giants
The buzz around McCarthy is very real among NFL circles and the media is way behind
4 QBs will go in the first 6 picks
WR
---DRAFT WEEK---
Nabers has a reputation for being difficult to coach
---4/19/24---
Ja'Lynn Polk won't get out of Rd. 2
Mitchell and Thomas Jr. have the same odds in Vegas O/U 17.5
Mitchell has diabetes and apparently it will cause him to fall in the draft
---4/12/24---
There is a massive cliff after WR3 in the draft. Expect teams like NYJ, JAX, PIT, and BUF to potentially make a move into the top 10.
---4/05/24---
There are some in the league who view Nabers as the top overall player in the draft
Some fear that Nabers has immaturity concerns and may struggle in a Big City
Keon Coleman is a 2nd Round pick, and is not expected to go round 1
---3/29/24---
Look for Malachi Corley to go in the Jayden Reed range in Rd. 2
Don't be surprised if Nabers is WR1 in this draft
McConkie could sneak into the back half of round one
Brian Thomas is the clear WR4 according to teams
Ricky Pearsall may go earlier than many teams expect
TE
---DRAFT WEEK---
---4/19/24---
---4/12/24---
Bowers is nearing top 10 lock status
---4/05/24---
---3/29/24---
Bowers won't make it past pick #12
OL
---DRAFT WEEK---
Patrick Paul is higher on NFL boards
"Wherever you have Zak Zinter, it is too low"
---4/19/24---
Fautanu has been killing his interviews, many teams likely to leave him at OT
---4/12/24---
JPJ is going way too high in many media mock drafts. Temper your expectations on him. He is likely an early to mid 2nd round pick.
Barton will go earlier than people realize, ahead of guys like Mims and Guyton
Some teams have JC Latham as their top tackle, ahead of even Joe Alt
Fautanu could go top 10, and is OL1 or OL2 on teams boards
---4/05/24---
Both JPJ and Frazier are being mocked too high. Both are expected to be 2nd Round picks.
Some teams view Latham as a top 10 talent
Teams are not as high on Jackson Powers-Johnson as the consensus
Graham Barton may go as high as 14 given his versatility and won't drop past pick 24
---3/29/24---
Graham Barton will go higher than expected
Mims is a top 20 lock
Mims is a favorite of PITT, CIN, and LV
League is higher on Fautanu than the media
League seems to be lower on Fashanu than the media
Don't be surprised if Fautanu goes ealier than other top tackles
Don't sleep on UW OT Roger Rosengarten in the late first. He can play both OT and OG positions.
DE
---DRAFT WEEK---
Everybody has Turner to ATL, the more people McShay has talked makes it seem like Murphy will be the pick there
---4/19/24---
There is no clear #1 DE in the draft, with the top 4 rushers being all over various teams boards
Marshawn Kneeland is a sneaky rd 1 pick
Darius Robinson could go in the top 20
---4/12/24---
Darius Robinson is a first round lock according to scouts
Chop Robinson may be a top 15 player. Pass Rush win pct. is great.
It will be a surprise if Turner does not go to Atlanta
One GM told Schefter that Chop Robinson will go ahead of Dallas Turner
---4/05/24---
Teams have Latu as high as 8 on their big boards, and others don't have him on their boards at all over medical concerns
---3/29/24---
Darius Robinson had poor agility testing at his Pro Day, may indicate he is a one-trick pony
Some teams feel that Latu may fall into Rd 2 over medicals
Four surefire Edge prospects in Rd 1 - Turner, Verse, Robinson, and Latu
IDL
---DRAFT WEEK---
Byron Murphy may be the first defensive player taken in the draft
Injury for Newton may be worse than feared
---4/19/24---
16 is the floor for Byron Murphy
Byron Murphy is expected to go higher than some project, maybe even top 10
Jer'Zhan Newton betting odds O/U 18.5 - much higher than many media mock drafts
---4/12/24---
Sweat might drop out of the first three rounds due to off-field concerns. Round 4 is where all sins are absolved as they say in scouting circles.
Media is catching up on Ruke Orhohoro
---4/05/24---
Braden Fiske will go much earlier than expected according to league sources
Kris Jenkins is higher among league sources than the media
---3/29/24---
Murphy and Newton seem to be the only 2 IDLs scouts have going in Rd 1
LB

----4/05/24---
---3/29/24---

Ennis Rakestraw has a late 1st round grade on some boards but will likely go in Rd 2
---4/12/24---
Mike Sainristil is sounding more like a 2nd round lock
DeJean is a first round pick, ceiling is JAX at pick 17
---4/05/24---
Max Melton could go as high as Rd 2 according to different teams
---3/29/24---
Bills seem to be doing a lot of work on this CB class

Terrion Arnold is a 1st round lock
S

2024.04.20 04:20 Rustin_Swoll Barron Read-Along [21]: “The Redfield Girls”

Barron, Laird. “The Redfield Girls”. The Beautiful Thing That Awaits Us All. Night Shade Books (2013).
Story Summary:
An annual teachers’ getaway becomes marred by tragedy and inconsolable loss.
Connections to the Barronverse:
As noted in the write up for “Mysterium Tremendum”, “The Redfield Girls” connects to “Mysterium Tremendum” by locale (Lake Crescent) and historically by the Lady of the Lake Murder.
Towards the end of the story, the main character Bernice is reading a pictorial history book of the Mima Mounds, which is a notable reference to and the main location of “Proboscis” from The Imago Sequence and Other Stories.
Notes/Interpretations:
“What if the spirits heard us and now they are watching? You don’t know everything about these things. There are terrible mysteries.”
“The Redfield Girls” is, at its essence, a ghost story. It is a notable departure in Barron’s catalog from his more overt cosmic horrors (ranging, at this point in his bibliography, from many stories in The Imago Sequence and Other Stories to his Old Leech mythology). Barron has also described, in his collections, stories being a bridge to later collections. As “The Redfield Girls” deals with loss, grief, and tragedy of an intimately human nature, it feels very connected to previous stories such as “The Lagerstätte” and “Catch Hell”.
The central plot is that the eponymous women of this story, Bernice, Dixie, Karla, and Li-Hua, educators all, have an annual tradition of getting away over those precious weeks during summer break before fall semester begins.
Pertinent to current events, Bernice’s niece Lourdes arrives at her home just prior to her departure on this getaway and comes along on the trip. Bernice is annoyed by this, initially, but reluctantly agrees for Lourdes to accompany her on her sabbatical.
As the story progresses, we learn that Bernice and Lourdes both have minor psychic abilities (Lourdes arrived at Bernice’s home by following intuition occurring in her dreams, as an example). Both characters also have ominous premonitions about Crescent Lake (dreams of drowned Medusa figures and drowned family members, chilling feelings when discussing the ghosts or demons which inhabit the lake).
These premonitions became more apparent to me as I read and re-read “The Redfield Girls”: “[l]ately though, she thought of the lake often. She woke in a sweat, dreams vanishing like quicksilver”; “she was left clutching a dead phone. The timing was bizarre and seemed too eerie for coincidences.”
Bernice had an aunt, Lourdes’ great aunt, who was murdered by her husband and hidden in Lake Crescent (an “Aunt Dolly”, which appears to reference a historical and real-life Lady of the Lake Murder). Lourdes dreamt of Aunt Dolly before her visit to Bernice, and this is later the focal point of a ghost story told by Dixie to the rest of the Redfield Girls.
Barton’s exemplary descriptive language is seen during Dixie’s story about Lake Crescent (see the full passage on p. 42): “[t]he wind blows. It lays its hammer on the waters of the lake, beats her until she bares rows of whitecap teeth. She’s old too, that one; a deep, dark Paleolithic well of glacial water.”
That paragraph reminds me immensely of a similar passage from the first Isaiah Coleridge novel Blood Standard: “I’m comfortable with old, old places, places hostile to evolved life… [l]arge and largely empty. Inhuman, yet aware on some primal frequency. Palpably malevolent in its indifference…”
Barron demonstrates he can dazzle his reader by having a character in his story describe a lake.
Local legends suspect the lake is filled with demons (according to the Klallam people who populated the area before settlers had arrived) or ghosts (like a referenced Job’s brother, Caleb, who may have been manifested later by a manipulative spirit). As the group discusses those lost to the lake, another legend at the heart of this story is revealed, “[l]ike the old timers say: the mistress keeps those close to her heart. Some say the souls of those taken are imprisoned in the forms of animals-coyotes and loons. When a coyote howls or a loon screams, they’re crying to their old selves, the loved ones they’ve lost.”
Their trip is almost marred by tragedy as several of the Redfield Girls take a suspiciously placed rowboat onto the lake at night after an evening of drinking (“[Bernice] was disquieted by the sensation of floating over a Hadal gulf, an insect prey to gargantuan forms lurking in the depths.”) The boat falls apart, and Bernice, Lourdes, and Dixie nearly drown. Bernice questions who or what she saw in the water, but struggles to recall it after the fact. Lourdes later intimates that a ghost or demon may have placed the ancient rowboat on the shore to tempt them.
This traumatic experience puts off Bernice and Li-Hua from returning to Lake Crescent three years later. They have been external barriers to attend (a broken ankle, caring for kids) which support their unease and give them an easy out from a return trip. They avoid their own deaths but experience calamitous tragedy when Dixie, Karla, and Lourdes drive off of the road (at Ambulance Point, a previous place of peril referenced) and drown.
This is initially confusing and jarring, which is likely intentional. Bernice experiences a premonition (or visitation), there is a section break, and we learn Lourdes has passed away without explanation, “Bernice didn’t fly to France for Lourdes’s funeral.” The first time I read “The Redfield Girls” this really caught me off guard (I may have audibly uttered, “what the fuck.”)
It later occurs to Bernice that she read her previous premonitions incorrectly, and in seeing her drowned sister, she had actually foreseen Lourdes’ demise. What happened to them remains a mystery, outside of the obvious assumption that the lake or its dark inhabitants had called them to its depths.
I mentioned earlier that “The Redfield Girls” is a departure from Barron’s oeuvre, but truthfully I am conflicted on that particular point (insert quote by Walt Whitman about “multitudes”). It does read and feel like a more traditional ghost story, but the characters appear to be pulled towards a similar inescapable finality that many of Barron’s other characters experience. They also encounter an other beyond their implicit understanding. This might just be Barron’s brand of bleak cosmic horror, masquerading as a traditional ghost story.
In this story’s end, Bernice returns later to Crescent Lake to seek closure, or that aforementioned understanding. She meets a diver who is there attempting to free the souls the lake has taken. The nuance and subtext of their last lines of dialogue is outstanding. The diver explains to Bernice that he, too, experienced the sudden and tragic loss of his brother (and this may explain his efforts to free other trapped souls). I’m including the last few lines of this story here, in close to their entirety.
[the diver] … “Worst part is, and I apologize if this sounds cruel, you’ll be stuck with this for the rest of your life. It doesn’t go away, ever.”
[Bernice] “We’re losing the light.”
“Out in the reeds and the darkness, a loon screamed.”
Questions/Discussions:
  1. At the top of page 56 is a paragraph explaining what happened to the remaining Redfield Girls, and Barron explains “the remaining Redfield Girls drifted apart…” This portion of the story hasn’t quite made sense to me. I assume he means other members of the faculty but it is their only inclusion in the story. What is your take on that?
  2. Why do you think Barron was inspired by the Lady of the Lake Murder for this story?
  3. I have frequently referenced an old interview Barron gave, in which he cites three of his favorite books as Cormac McCarthy’s Blood Meridian, Peter Straub’s Ghost Story, and T.E.D. Klein’s Dark Gods. At this point I am probably more obsessed with these being Barron’s favorite books than he is (although, he did discuss Blood Meridian in that wonderful True Detective write up he just did for Slate online.) Is Ghost Story an influence on or touchstone for “The Redfield Girls”? What else do you think influenced him to write “The Redfield Girls”?
  4. Do you think the antagonist in this story (the ghost(s), demon(s), or Lake Crescent itself) summoned Lourdes from across the pond to be some kind of sacrifice to it? On p. 52 Lourdes explains to Bernice she dreamt she should see Bernice due to her psychic abilities, “I didn’t really analyze [the aforementioned dream]. I just wanted to come see you. It may sound dumb, but on some level I was worried you might be in trouble if I didn’t. Looks like I had it backwards, huh?” I’ve thought about this story a lot since re-reading multiple times for this write-up, and it occurred to me perhaps Lourdes was called to the lake to be killed.

2024.04.19 22:27 Naayji Mock draft with Commentary

Just typed in my mock because I refuse to do any work today. I am intrigued by the upcoming draft so let me know any specific draft intel, scheme fits, or substantiated rumors about your favorite teams!

TRADES:
I) TEN & MIN - MIN SENDS 11; 23 for 7
II) DEN & PHI - PHI SENDS 22; 50; 2025-5th for 12
III) MIA & ARI - ARI sends 27; 90 for 22

1) Bears - Caleb Wiliams
Congratulations Bears fans!! Caleb has taken the collegiate level by storm ever since usurping Spencer Rattler at Oklahoma and is deservedly going to go off the board first overall.

2) Commanders - Drake Maye
Josh Harris handed over the reins to Adam Peters who will look to build a sustained winner. While the roster has some talented pieces, I expect the Commanders to not rush this process and select the tad younger and more prototypical modern-day pocket passer out of UNC. I would not expect him to start to begin the season.

3) Patriots - Jayden Daniels
The Patriots won’t trade down out of this pick. Instead, they select their franchise quarterback going forward after Mac Jones flamed out. Jayden is a one-man offensive powerhouse that could turn the woeful Patriots offense around to pair up with their stud defense.

4) Arizona - Marvin Harrison Jr.
The most talented player in Arizona’s front seven I can think of off the top of my head is Kyzir White. Personally, I would be looking to trade down. However, with three quarterbacks off the board to begin the draft - Arizona gets to select its top choice non-qb.
Marvin Harrison is him.
I do not think a trade package of 11,23 suffices for Arizona to trade down. I believe DEN/NYG could offer more enticing packages than that. Unless MIN includes a 2025 1st-round pick (which I don’t think they will), I see Arizona staying put and selecting the best weapon in the draft.

5) Chargers - Brock Bowers
Harbaugh never traded down in the first round. The earliest he took an offensive lineman during his tenure in SF was a center in the third round. I also think its a bit easier to find guys that match your athletic criteria and teach them the power scheme than the more popular zone or gap schemes now prevalent in the league. Given they’ve got one of the best tackles in the league protecting Herbert’s blindside, I don’t expect them to go after a tackle in the first round.
Furthermore, they cut both their starting outside receiver after they refused pay cuts which leads to believe they like some of the premier receiving talent in the draft.
Harbaugh and OC Greg Roman will be looking to implement their West Coast/Power run hybrid offense in LA. In Baltimore, Roman used a lot of heavy sets with multiple backs and/or tight ends to enhance the run game and I don’t expect that to change.
I love the fit between player and coach culture-wise and I love the fit between player and scheme as well. I like Bowers more than Nabers and Odunze as a prospect in general. On top of that he suits the Harbaugh brand of football. Bower's work ethic is folklore at Georgia, he returned just 26 days after an ankle surgery to help beat an Ole Miss team with some momentum this last season, and everyone has nothing but heaps of praise for the kid. He has been a record-setter, two-time national champion as a lead weapon, and the next superstar weapon in the NFL.
I see him both as a player you can design your scheme around on top of acquiring a young culture setter for your franchise for decades to come. This quote by Gators HC Billy Nappier in 2023 sums up how I feel about Bowers rather well:
”Obviously, this is not only one of the best players in America this year, last year, I mean, this is one of the best players of all time, if that makes sense. {…} This guy is a really, really unique matchup relative to his ability to run routes and get open, his ability to run after the catch," Napier said. "They're handing the guy sweeps. They were handing the guy the ball. He's a terrific blocker. He's tough. He's got a really good set of fundamentals. Made him really hard to defend."
I want to reiterate that his value as a weapon on the field is why I have him going top 5. The culture fit is just the cherry on the top and what gives him, in my opinion, a chance to go top 5.

6) Giants - Malik Nabers
Daniel Jones is still the starter. At least that’s what Schoen told Drew Lock when he signed him in free agency. I could see the Giants picking a quarterback, but would be very surprised to see them trade up.
Waller might retire. Kadarius Toney didn’t work out. Giants need playmakers, and Nabers is a perfect fit as he will be taking DJ’s underthrown passes to the house.

7) MIN: JJMcCarthy
Intangibles through the roof supposedly; lots of impressive throws on third and long; arm talent and athletic profile desirable.
Should be fun throwing to JJ, Addison, and Hockenson.

8) ATL: Dallas Turner
Falcons would be hard-pressed to pass up on someone oozing as much talent and athletic ability as Dallas Turner. He has the vertical quickness on his get-off in addition to that superb bend that you wish for from your elite pass rushers. His traits paired with his athletic profile scream double-digit sack pro-bowl potential.
Schematically, you like the fit of having him play in two-stance as the outside linebacker for Raheem Morris. I could see the Falcons HC opting to pick up a cornerback like Terrion Arnold here as well; the new Falcons HC did make his money as a defensive backs coach and got the best out of Jalen Ramsey during his tenure with the Rams. I do think the BPA here will be a defensive player.

9) Bears - Joe Alt
Bears are looking for talent to help their defensive line, and I imagine they will be looking to trade down a couple of spots. It is rare that a team makes only 4 selections in a draft class but you can always trade down later in the draft. I do think the Bears will not want to trade down low into the twenties, and I am finding it difficult to imagine anybody trading up here.
Braxton Jones has done a decent job so far throughout his NFL tenure, however, you can definitely look to upgrade the blindside protector of your new franchise quarterback. If the board were to fall like this; and the Bears couldn’t find a trade-down partner, I would assume one of Fashanu or Alt would be the pick here over any available defensive linemen besides possibly Dallas Turner.

10) Jets - Rome Odunze
It is slim slim pickings currently behind GW17, and we won’t know how Mike Williams will look like coming back from yet another injury.
I could easily see the Jets taking Joe Alt, Fashanu, or J.C. Latham here, however, if one of the top pass catchers were to fall I would hope the Jets load up on some much-needed offensive firepower.
These are the twilight years of Aaron. Tyron and Moses are a good starting tackle tandem that most likely won’t play 18 regular season games. But all they have to manage is 4 straight from January to February. I think the Jets stand more to gain right now from a pass catcher than a tackle.

11) Titans -Olumuyiwa Fashanu
I understand that we fall in love with certain prospects during the draft process - Cardinals fans all want MHJ; Drake Maye seems to be the flavour of most here on Reddit as for QB2; Turner to ATL; Joe Alt to the Titans seems like a lock to most. I have him as my OT2 behind Fashanu. I was very high on Fashanu going into the year. after another impressive season at Penn State allowing zero sacks for a second consecutive season, I am not entirely convinced Joe Alt is the surefire better prospect like most seem to be.
Both are fantastic prospects in my eyes; and more 1A)/1B) to me. I think the Titans would take the extra frp to trade down to 11 as the range of players should still be extremely enticing to the Titans at that pick (thinking Alt/Fashanu/Bowers/Turner) along with picking up immediate high-value draft capital later in the draft

12) Eagles - Terrion Arnold
Arnold is my CB1, and I was happy to see Daniel Jeremiah place him as his highest-ranked defensive prospect on his big board. Terrion managed to find his way onto the field as a true freshman which is rare under daunted DB coach Nick Saban.
Arnold is the most well-rounded cornerback in this draft and has an incredibly high ceiling as a ballhawk, run-defender, and scheme-versatile cornerback who can spearhead the new Fangio defense in Philadelphia. I would be incredibly surprised if Slay and Bradberry are in future plans of Eagles GM Howie Roseman.
I will say this, The Eagles do not have a third-round pick and it would be a first for Howie to select let alone trade up for a cornerback in the first. I do think Terrion is the type of prospect you may do it for. I will say I think this is unlikely, but something gives me an inkling that it will happen.
I would commend anybody with time to spare to listen to the short segment on the Brett Kollmann podcast during which Daniel Jeremiah spoke about Terrion. I was super impressed by the stories, and it completely matched with how I felt watching him play.

13) Raiders - Quinyon Mitchell
Patrick Graham was one of the most impressive coordinators in the league this past season. His CB room needs an injection of talent. Their cornerbacks currently on the roster had a total of 3 interceptions in 2023. They will need more production from their cornerbacks in a division with Mahomes and Herbert.
Quinyon was PFF’s highest graded corner in college last year, and he has had a phenomenal draft process. Tested amazingly, dominated the Senior Bowl, and worked his way up the draft boards for a lot of people.
I wanted to mock the Raiders a tackle but I don’t like the Latham fit with Luke Getsy’s outside zone run scheme. I do not see Taliese Fuaga going top 15 so I went with a corner instead here for the Raiders.

14) Saints: J.C. Latham
Saints GM Mickey Loomis defended LT Trevor Penning mentioning missed training camps and battles with injuries as part of the former first-round pick’s shortcomings this past season. I do not think the team is willing to move on from him just yet, and Ryan Ramczyk restructured his contract which makes me believe he will play this year.
I always thought Latham looked exceptional when I watched Alabama play. Throughout this draft process, he has not risen like I thought he would. Charlie Campbell, one of the most successful mocker drafters and generally well-respected NFL insider, recently shared his big board for the upcoming draft and had J.C. Latham ranked as his best tackle and 7th best player overall in the draft although he has Joe Alt mocked above him.
Nonetheless, he noted that “some team sources shared they feel Latham is definitely worthy of being a top-10 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft”. His versatility to slot in at guard, to then move over to RT post Ramczyk would be immensely valuable to the Saints.

15) Colts - Brian Thomas Jr.
Colts like their guys. I do too to be fair, and I especially like Anthony Richardson. The AFCS seems to be in somewhat of a weapons race stockpiling weapons for their young quarterbacks. The colts would be wise to do the same.
It’s not often that a prospect with an athletic profile that impressive combined with so much flashing talent in college drops to the middle of the first. I mean on paper we are talking about a guy who is 6’3, weighed in at 209 lbs, ran a 4.33 40-yard dash, and put up 68-1,177-17TD last season whilst leading the whole FBS in touchdowns. Watching the games, it looked electric and I think he would be a fantastic weapon to pair with Pittman and slot-receiver Downs.

16) Seahawks - Byron Murphy
One 6’1 DT leaves the NFCW - and another enters.
During Mike Macdonald’s tenure with the Ravens the defensive personnel decisions sort of zigged when the rest of the NFL zagged. Ravens went heavy on defensive tackles, linebackers, and safeties and I expect Macdonald to bring a somewhat similar philosophy to Seattle.
It all starts upfront, and Dre’Mont Jones as well as Jarran Reed are both likely gone after 2024. I could not imagine the Seahawks passing up on Byron Murphy. Personally see his floor to be drafted at 16.
Sidenote, I am excited to watch Witherspoon as I think the emerging superstar will shine under their new head coach.

17) Jaguars - Nate Wiggins
Trent Baalke did mention they were looking to add to the cornerback room, and their position in the first round should allow them to select one of the top guys this year. I have them selecting my CB2, and someone who might rival Sauce Gardner as having the coolest CB nickname currently in the NFL.
Antonio Johnson impressed in the nickel last year yet the Jaguars went out and signed Darnell Savage to start. Darious Williams was swapped out for Ronald Darby, and the 6th-round rookie Braswell held his own at times.
Ryan Nielsen wants to shift to an even front and play more man coverage in 2024 which explains some of their free agency moves. I do still think they need an outside corner, and I like the talent around the mid-first.
Clemson was man-heavy in 2023, their corners often on islands tasked with defending whatever assignment ahead of them one-on-one. Wiggins thrived in this scheme. His generational speed allowed him to be physical at a route’s stem knowing he has the speed to recover. Wiggins has the ability to match up with receivers at the line due to his technique often beating wide receivers to their spot and allowing zero separation. Whenever I watched it seemed like he just sticks to guys.
I think he is being underrated, and a guy with an even lighter frame, who was slower, and in my opinion a worse prospect coming out was Emmanuel Forbes who was drafted 16th overall last year.
Lance Zierlein wrote that “Wiggins' speed, scheme versatility and playmaking instincts should make him the most sought after cornerback in the draft”. I do think he will go top 20.

18) Bengals - Amarius Mims
Bengals remain in need of competition at both DT and OT after signing Sheldon Rankins and Trent Brown in free agency. I would imagine the Bengals try and shore up their offensive line in a tackle-strong class.
Mims is a large large man. Injuries in 2023 will hurt his draft stock but I think at the latest the Bengals or Steelers will stop his slide due to his sheer upside. It is rare to see a man of those dimensions move as he can. Some of his playoff 2022 tape is unreal.

19) Rams - Troy Fautanu
I am confident the Rams will draft a lineman. I think given the pool of talent it is more likely they go offense. Troy Fautanu falls to them at 19.
I really enjoyed watching the Huskies in 2023, and I was rooting for them to upset Michigan in the championship. I think their offensive line did a fantastic job in protecting an outstanding quarterback that is however rather limited mobility wise.
Fautanu would be a great fit in the 2023 Rams gap-run scheme they began implementing. Although I don’t know if Sean McVay will stick with it or continue to adjust his scheme. I do see Fautanu as a tackle despite being a little undersized. He has the arm length, technique, and athleticism you would want from a tackle.

20) Steelers - Taliese Fuaga
Tackles will be flying off the board in the first, and I expect the Steelers to join in on the frenzy due to a lack of starter talent at C and RT. Broderick Jones will be moving back to LT according to Pittsburgh GM Omar Khan.
I simply do not see it with Fuaga, and he was not at all on my radar. I have him as a top 25-ish prospect but I think anywhere in the top 15 is too high. I do like the fit with Arthur Smith and Fuaga’s versatility along the line would be immensely valuable to the Steelers.

21) Cardinals - Jared Verse
ARI has a lot of draft capital, and if they like a guy can afford it to move up a couple of spots. I think there’s a good chance they trade up using one of their three third-round picks.
The Cardinals need to start building their trenches on the defensive side of the ball. I like Verse over Robinson in Jonathan Gannon’s scheme.
Verse is arguably the most plug-and-play EDGE in the draft, and has a developed bag of pass-rushing moves. I think if he had some more length, he would go higher. Took over games for the Seminoles in 2023, was a noticeable problem for offensive lines.

22) Broncos - Chop Robinson
Denver I fail to see trade up with their lacking draft capital, and for identical reasons, a lot of people think they will attempt to trade down. I think they are an enticing spot for a capital-rich team like GB, ARI, or PHI to move up here.
Defensive linemen are flying off the board after the offensive linemen talent pool was drained. The Broncos are another team with a woeful pass rush in 2023, and I think the vertical speed Chop has off the line is exactly what their pass rusher room needs.
I would like to see Penix Jr. under Sean Payton yet I don’t view him as a first-rounder. His limited mobility and past medical history worry me too much to select him in the first round. Specifically for Denver, I think the roster has needs across the board and Paton and Payton should be looking to add as much talent as possible.

23) Titans - Laiatu Latu
The run on pass rushers continues as the Titans select their much-needed premium EDGE. I am a big big fan of Dennard Wilson, and I have high hopes for the Titans' defense in 2024.
Laiatu Latu was medically retired from collegiate football before UCLA doctors cleared him to play in 2023. Latu would go on to record the highest ever single-season grade handed out to any collegiate player by PFF. I could see him falling behind the other three top talents at EDGE due to concerns about his medical history

24) Cowboys - Tyler Guyton
I think the Cowboys have done well this off-season, as I think they will get both CD and Parson’s extensions done whilst leaving themselves flexible at QB heading into 2024. I think Dak Prescott may have to show out or get shown the door next season.
I am not entirely convinced that moving your all-pro LG to LT is the smartest move. I think the Cowboys should keep their league-best Guard tandem intact.
Tyler Guyton has risen throughout this draft process, and it is now almost unthinkable that he drops out of the first.

25) Packers - Cooper DeJean.
New DC Jeff Hafley discussed the post and box safety positions in his defense, and GM Gutekunst mentioned at the Combine that he wants safeties capable of playing both roles as well as the slot corner position. Cooper DeJean fits exactly that mold and checks off the high RAS threshold the Packers seem to have.
Cooper DeJean could take this defense to another level. His versatility to swap around with McKinney from strong to free safety, to start at nickel instead of Keisean Nixon, to cover outside if Stokes and/or Jaire were to miss time again should be incredibly valuable to the Packers.
I could see the Packers trading up due to their high amount of draft capital.

26) Buccaneers - Jackson Power-Johnson
As a Baker believer, I think Tampa has had a fantastic offseason. Their roster is good enough to be competitive in the NFCS.
Their center play has been appalling since Ryan Jensen retired. It has become popular to mock them JPJ, and the way the board has fallen in this mock I would tend to agree.
Also, if you want to go based off of anything coordinators say during the off-season, I would advise everyone to draft Godwin in your fantasy leagues.

27) Dolphins - Jer’Zahn Newton
The Dolphins currently hold six picks, four of which are in the backend 100. I see them as a highly likely trade-down scenario unless someone like Byron Murphy or an offensive lineman they like were to fall to them.
I was in between Kris Jenkins and Jer’Zahn Newton here for the Dolphins. I do expect them to grab a defensive tackle early in the draft after the departure of Christian Wilkins.
I ultimately gave Jer’Zahn Newton the notch simply because he jumped off the screen more to me during the season. Illinois best player, and a real game wrecker that just never came off the field.

28) Bills - Xavier Worthy
Worthy broke out as an 18-year-old true freshman in the SEC putting up 62/981/12 as a true freshman. He broke his hand his second year and his play suffered culminating in a horror bowl game in which he had three crucial drops. Xavier returned to Texas for another year, and with his hand healed up, improved massively on the drop issues from the year prior.
This kid has generational truly game-breaking speed. Not just straight linear speed, he is football fast. And it shows immediately on the field, that he isn’t just a speedster this kid is running polished routes and has worked immensely to improve his release of the line of scrimmage over three years. I don’t just see him as returneZ-stretch speedster; I think in time this guy can develop into a premier weapon in the NFL.
Xavier is one of my favourite prospects in this draft. I think he is incredibly underrated as a prospect, I cannot see him dropping out of the first, and in my opinion he should be drafted ahead of fellow Longhorn Adonai Mitchell.

29) Lions - Darius Robinson
Robinson has gotten some acclaim for first-round status which was backed up by an invitation to attend the draft in Detroit. He may become this year’s Keion White/Will Levis.
Recently, I have seen a lot of guys discussing the Missouri standout defensive linemen as a potential target for the Lions. The more I’ve looked into Robinson the more I understand the rationale behind it. He is a perfect culture fit, relentless motor, and could help in all positions across the line. I will gladly jump on the bandwagon here.

30) Ravens - Kool-Aid McKinstry
At this point in any mock you’re matching needs and talent left on your board; my highest graded player here would be Kool-Aid
Him and Nate Wiggins are my two favourite pure cover corners in this draft; both have similar weaknesses in their tackling and so I give a slight edge to Wiggins due to his elite speed.
Still, Kool-Aid also managed to find the field his freshman season under Nick Saban. This kid used to be touted as a future top-ten pick, and I think we may have all suffered from prospect fatigue because he put together a strong season in 2023.

31) Niners - Graham Barton
Barton likely goes in the first round so I’ll throw my dart on a team that needs fresh legs on their offensive line. The Niners are bringing back their entire starting from last season after they re-signed Feliciano. He has hinted at retiring so the Niners will likely be on the lookout for his replacement.
Depending on how the Aiyuk think plays out, the Niners could select a Ricky Pearsall, Ladd McKonkey, or Adonai Mitchell if the board were to fall like this.

32) Chiefs - Adonai Mitchell
I would assume the best player available at the end of the first will be a wide receiver. I also think the Chiefs have a huge need their even after signing Hollywood Brown (and with conviction that Rice will see the field).
Adonai Mitchell probably deserves to go in the first based on his test numbers and production alone. He and Worthy created some fun highlights to watch. I’ll sneak him in at the end.

15 draft picks. Depth chart in my vision. Draft picks are in blue. Ran's FA additions are in red:
https://preview.redd.it/tmnf4jmz5quc1.png?width=1974&format=png&auto=webp&s=f8c6223e3fde85376b81baa0aa0b02f3e055f3b2
15 months ago, TEN hired a new GM & it became known as the Ran Carthon era. Last year, Ran began his own BPA drafting strategy with Sko, Levis, & Spears out of the gate. I relish the BPA philosophy & strategy. It means do not force a position early just to take a position early
Ran gave up our 2024 3rd for Will Levis. Recently, Ran gave up our 2025 3rd for L’Jarius Sneed. Both we’re great moves for the club needing a future QB & a starting CB for our Titans

That left me with a long wait between pick 38 to pick 107, with no 3rds ever in sight until 2026

Cause & effect, Ran sends away our 3rds, I have to trade down, to return what was lost (yin-yang)

My #1 guy in this class was Rome Odzune, gone at #6. Everyone else's favorite Malik Nabers, gone at #5. Welcome to reality. :) Full draft results of live tracker link will be posted at the bottom

In January, I took Rome for TEN at #7 in a live mock

In February, I took Joe Alt for TEN at #7 in a live mock. This is what most fans want or expect to happen on day one for the Titans: a left tackle like Joe

This is the April live mock that is the most pertinent to me, with the most intense competitors, before the real draft very soon. It is known around the nation as the 'mock of all mocks' or 'the legacy mock draft'
Live mock draft means I'm going against 31 other real persons, all representing the 32 NFL teams. It's not against a computer just picking random names on simulators. Day 1: 5 minutes per pick, Day 2: 3 mins per pick, Day 3: 2 mins per pick. This means in reality & this event, you do not have hours & hours to make decisions. You have minutes. The clock is not your friend. It's keep ticking & ticking

I had deals set up to move back up to #9 overall from #14. Of course Rome nor Alt did not make it to #9 overall. All 3 top WRs we're gone in the top 6 picks

At #14, Philly gave me an offer I could not refuse, to gain another additional 2nd. Corleone respects this decision with his blessing. Nothing personal, just business (Godfather reference)

In free agency, the Houston Texans signed/stole our IDL in Denico Autry, leaving a huge hole on defense next to Big Jeffery Simmons. Ran did bring in Sebastian Joseph-Day. That is not enough for me long-term

With how the board fell & ending up with the #22 overall, there was one name that fell to that spot that should have been gone & I immediately recognized that facet

The Titans have not met with this Murphy name, yet did meet with McKinnley Jackson as a top 30 visit just to see what if, with the Aggie Jackson to replace Autry's spot on the defensive line. Reported visits are not Ran Carthon's real board. They are just visits. Every NFL team meets with hundreds of prospects privately & publicly

Round 1, pick 22: Byron Murphy II, DT, Texas

https://preview.redd.it/wjo9ztl46quc1.jpg?width=1458&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=41d3cbb85056cb42c99bcdaa60dc174d2f3eb817
I took the BPA approach to take the best name on the board at #22

When I found out weeks ago in scouting, that Murphy had a 27% pass-rush win rate, instantly moved em up to IDL1 in front of Jer’Zhan Newton. The Illinois DT Newton had a jones fracture which arguably means Murphy could be the first DT off the board soon

Whether the actual pass-rush # is 19.6 to 26.6, is the long run mystery. Either way, Murphy is an elite replacement for Denico Autry at DT

6’ 297 lbs, 21 years old, 28 bench reps, 4.87 forty, 33” vertical, 20-27% pass-rush win rate. When it comes to being the best pass-rushing DT in this class, Murphy is that guy. Jared Verse or Dallas Turner could be the best edges in this class. Both of those we’re taken before this pick. Which means I took the best name on the board & the best pass-rushing defender on the board at 22. As the tape and analytics both heavily confirmed Byron was a beast at causing pressure & winning in the interior

Power-packed, explosive first step, urgent hands, go-to move is slap-club-rap combo, 455 lb squat, 375 power clean, fires off the ball to get vertical to push through gaps, can shed blocks, & anchor the point of attack...Grade: Round 1, #16 overall. Murphy has rare combination of lower-body twitch, natural, leverage, & power throughout his frame that sets him apart. With his disruptive energy, both as a pass-rusher & versus the run, projects as an impact starter who can play 3T or nose - Dane Brugler

Round 2, pick 38: Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU

https://preview.redd.it/jfulhq376quc1.jpg?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e2fa476c46701f0e9d705096dcbed4ef22a36433
Can I sense some anger? Yes, you're upset because you wanted Joe at #7. Yes, you're upset because you wanted Olumuyiwa Anthony Fashanu at #14. I played the board as a GM should. I do what is best for the team! I still got us a left tackle. It's the left tackle I wanted. 'Not the hero tackle we deserved, but the hero tackle we needed' (Dark Knight reference)

Suam is 6'5" 326 lbs, 10" hands, 34" arms, 31 bench reps, 5.04 forty, 28" vertical, 21 years old, former five-star HS recruit. Played 655 snaps at LT, 687 snaps at RT for the Cougars. Has the frame, size, & length any OL coach like Bill would love to develop. Ranked Suam as OT4 on my board behind Alt, Fashanu, & Taliese Fuaga. Is a cousin of Detroit Lion Penei Sewell. On training with Sewell, Suam stated:
“We go way back, he's been training me since I was young...He trained me from when I was in junior high to now,”
We finally have a fantastic OL coach in Bill Callahan that can develop Suam into our immediate & long run left tackle. The Steelers wanted to trade up with TEN to 38 for 51 & two other picks. I declined that offer. Later, PIT admitted they wanted Suam there at 38 at that exact pick
Most will criticize the second trade to fall from 14 to 22 when I could have taken Fashanu there. Fashanu injured his quad at the combine & has 8" hands. I decided to take the best deal on the table & wait until 38 to address left tackle
The Steelers wanted to trade up with TEN on the morning of round 2. I refused to give up our early 2nd round pick. After the draft completed, PIT informed me, they wanted the exact name I took here in Kingsley at 38. The Titans go from one King in Derrick Henry to Kingsley

I attached an image below of the Fuaga vs Nabers debate. I created this meme for a reason. It shows that a tackle like Fuaga Suam can keep Will Levis upright & is able to make the passing completion!

https://preview.redd.it/mtq9qwzf6quc1.png?width=526&format=png&auto=webp&s=08a6850b7780115d431c03f879f711031f41f4dc

Round 2, pick 45: Junior Colson, LB, Michigan

https://preview.redd.it/6bqlcw096quc1.jpg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b615ea8ea9606588ad44cd477d31cbc0f6acfd57
From Brentwood, TN & born in Haiti. 6'2" 238 lbs, 21 years old, has good sideline to sideline range, has a blend of speed & explosiveness, has a hit stick, toughness, & quick reaction when used in zone

DEN Broncos wanted this LB at 50. Ranked Colson as LB2 on my board. National champion, look a scouting the helmet pick (a joke). Seriously, this is much more than that. Most do not know how good Colson is, because Colson chose (just like Harrison & Nabers) to not perform at the combine. On the tape, Colson defines the word intensity. Reads the play from the offense, diagnoses it, informs his defense the coverage, then flies to the ball, snap after snap.
Checks a lot of boxes, for the next level, with his physicality to play downhill, athleticism in space, & iron-man toughness he brings to work every day. Has coverage awareness, physical form tackler, & has football IQ. Won the 2023 Lott Impact Trophy (“Impact” stands for integrity, maturity, performance, academics, community and tenacity). Junior projects as a NFL starting MIKE early in his career - Dane Brugler
Ran brought in Kenneth Murray during free agency. That placed Murray & Otis Reese IV at the top of the LB room at this moment. Which was not enough LB for me. Jack Gibbens has one of the cheapest contracts on the Titans roster, which probably means TEN will give Jack one more year, for being a previous ERFA. Luke Gifford should be a cap casualty by Sept. I wanted a full rebuild at the LB position.

I was able to gain Divine Deablo from the Las Vegas Raiders in a trade for the 190th I got from the Saints. I was able to gain Channing Tindall from the Dolphins via trade. I did not really ask for Tindall, MIA just wanted to get rid of Channing. Deablo will start most games. Kenneth Murray should start week 1, while slowly teaching Colson how to truly become the Titans primary MLB

Round 2, pick 53: Mohamed Kamara, edge, Colorado State

https://preview.redd.it/sl7xz4rc6quc1.jpg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b3adbe15e175e55fc926306c3aad71681917b698
6'1" 248 lbs, 4.57 forty, 23 reps, 34.5" vertical. Has played 5 seasons in the NCAA making age and length against Mo long-term as the only negatives. Has power, burst, punch, motor, & footwork. Plays with force & aggression, has inside rush moves, can collapse the pocket, & welcomes double teams
His motor runs hot, he has violent hands, & can set an edge - anonymous scout
Ranked Kamara as edge #4 on my board.
The IND Colts admitted they wanted Kamara at 82. Ballard took a RB instead there in round 3. Did I want to trade down from 53, to the range of 61 to 81 to take Mo in front of IND? Yes. No other teams felt like moving up there in round 2 to #53. We only have 3 minutes per pick on day 2 to make a decision. I went ahead & picked Mo there a little early instead of being skipped. As Kamara was my 2 birds with 1 stone plan all along to pick an edge & block IND simultaneously! FTC

Some do not emphasize that one has to make a pick quickly. In reality, the Vikings once got skipped for taking too long to pick. They tried to trade down with two teams. The Ravens did not send in the offer & MIN ran out of time. In reality, if you get skipped on the clock, the next team is up!

I love the duo of Landry & Kamara at edge. Arden Key was not a good run defender for us & was only a situational pass-rusher. I sent Arden to the Dolphins after drafting Kamara

Most do not watch Mountain West conference football. 'It's not a Power 4 program'. I scout the prospect, not the helmet. I scout around the year as a free hobby. I loved Kamara from the tape. You want production? Mo produced 13 sacks. Does the mob like Laiatu Latu more that also had 13 sacks in 23'? Yes. That is fine & nothing against Latu. As the Rams took Latu at pick 25. I just like Kamara as much as others like Latu
Round 4,pick106: Christian Mahogany, G, Boston College
6’3” 314 lbs, 4.53 shuttle. Has a strong base, tough to move around, great power from the hips, plays with an edge, has good pad level, & has power. Ask any OL guru, if they have a good shuttle time, they have great odds to be good at the next level on the offensive line. I ranked Mahogany as G #4 behind (Barton, Morgan, & Fautanu)

I watched the entirety of the Shrine Bowl event. The game itself & the practice drills. My grandfather volunteered for Shriners hospital. Mahogany never lost one rep in this drills being the the most dominant OL throughout the Shrine event. Impressed at the combine & the pro day.
Mahogany plays like a bouncer outside a club, looking to bash heads with power & forceful hands - Dane Brugler

The BC Eagle should have been gone in late round 3. Fell to my pick at 106 & I could not pass on Christian, to be Bill's new starting right guard

Many will be upset I sent Brunksill away for Mahogany. This was not the design. This is what occurred. I like the long-term move. Daniel only has a few years left to play. I believe in this pick & OL prospect
Round 4, pick 120: Jha'Quan Jackson, WR, Tulane
5'8" 188 lbs, 4.42 forty, 32" vertical, 12 reps. Ranked as WR17 on my board. Quan's uncle is Ed Reed. Which means Quan has NFL blood in his veins just like Suam. Quan had no issues being his former Tulane self in Mobile. Was on Paul Hornung's watchlist for most versatile player. This is an actual teammate of our RB Tyjae Spears. Does not have the size that scouts covet. Quan has the quickness & skills needed to still be a quality WRs in this class. Quan has return experience
His former roommate at Tulane was RB Tyjae Spears, who he calls his “brother fromanother mother.”...offers both long speed and short -area quickness, along with the route instincts to create pockets of separation for his quarterback. He projects as an NFL slot with Day 1 value as a punt returner. - Dane Brugler

TEN scouts have met with Action Jackson. I like Quan here as our WR4 to push Treylon Burks to either show up for the Titans or Jha'Quan Jackson is going to quickly take Treylon's place as our WR3

Every year, I watch the Senior Bowl event with excitement. Not just the game itself. I watch the practices & drills of the 1 on 1s to see who can win on an island. Who can win in the NFL on each rep & destroy DBs snap after snap. Last year it was Tank Dell as my favorite Senior Bowl WR. This year it is Quan. No one won more reps in the Senior Bowl drills consistently than Quan

In the draft, WRs continued to fall like dominos. Did I want Rome or Nabers at 7? Sure, gone in the top 6 picks. Did I want Malachi Corley at 53? Sure, gone at 52 right before my pick to the Jets. Did I want Javon Baker in the 80s? Sure, gone at 77. I could not trade down in round 2 & had to either take an edge there in Kamara or take a WR in Javon Baker.
I decided to wait on WR unfortunately & took Action Quan Jackson at 120. Malik Washington was also taken at pick 100 before day 3.

I gave Will Levis three (3) new WRs, in Jackson, Griffin, & White. May not be the 3 WRs you wanted. This is what you get
Round 5, pick 146: Audric Estime, RB, Notre Dame
5'11' 222 lbs. Ranked as RB3 on my board. I do not care what the combine #s told you. I watch tape. & if you watch hours & hours of NCAA football tape as I do. You would love Estime. This man is a bowling bowl & a bulldozer in the body of one RB. Audric wants to slam his shoulder into any LB or DB that dares to think they can out-power em
Estimé has the build and run power of a downhill grinder but the vision and cut acceleration of a smaller back, givi ng him RB1 potential for an NFL team (best in a gap scheme). His body type, run talent and promise on passing downs are reminiscent of former Seattle Seahawks’ RB Chris Carson. - Dane Brugler

We do not need Estime to be Derrick Henry. We have Tyjae Spears & Tony Pollard to do most of the receiving work & the majority of carries/touches. What we need Estime to be, is what Audric is. A HARD down-hill runner. TEN needs a RB that is healthy, that runs hard, & can simply get short first downs when we need it. Remember what Donta Foreman used to give TEN? Estime can be that & more. Imagine TEN has a two score lead & we could just rely on Estime to run the clock in the second half for once. Allowing Levis, Spears, & Tony to all three rest while Estime is doing what Henry used to do. Of course, Spears is RB1, Tony is RB2 & Estime would be RB3. This is about having depth at the RB position in the NFL. At this moment Julius Chestnut is our RB3. Estime fits & completes our RB room
Round 5, pick 158: Trey Taylor, S, Air Force
6' 213 lbs, 4.59 forty, 22 reps, 37.5" vertical, 4.13 3 cone, 6.90 3 cone. Ranked as safety #6 on my board. Quan Jackson is Ed Reed's nephew. This is Ed Reed's blood cousin too. I drafted both! To tell the Ratbirds what is up! Trey is the Jim Thorpe Award Winner in 23’, Taylor is a box safety, very good in 1on1 against TEs in coverage, very vocal, has juice, & maturity. Taylor was the force of the Falcons defense that made them one of the best in the G5
his great grandfather served in the Air Force & his grandfather in the Army...controlled athlete with natural twitch & reaction to movement to match WRs, makes clean turns out of break points ... doesn’t panic after a false step and quickly regains phase, proven ball skills, diagnoses play design well using his ability to sort through all the chess pieces and put himself in position to take away throws. However, his recovery speed will always be a question mark, and it might keep him as a subpackage/depth player at the next level. Overall, Taylor is quicker than fast and might have a tough time covering NFL receivers from the post, but his instinctive ball skills and feel for route concepts can help him overcome average range - Dane Brugler
I like Taylor as our new big nickel 3rd safety. Our new defensive coordinator is Dennard Wilson. In the previous regime in BAL, Wilson used Kyle Hamilton in the big slot. I like to use Trey in the same way. Taylor can blitz or cover depending on what Dennard wants to do each snap.
Round 6, pick 182: Dallin Hollker, TE, Colorado State
6'3" 241 lbs, 4.78 forty, 4,21 shuttle, 6.83 3 cone, 32.5" vertical, 10-2 broad. Is the Trey McBride from the same program, I drafted in the past? No, it's not. Ranked McBride as TE5 on my board. Sure I would have loved to have Jaheim Bell or Ben Sinnott instead. Both we're quickly taken in the top 130 picks. This gives edge Kamara a former Rams teammate to talk to everyday. Holker was THE most productive TE in the nation in 23'. Holker was more productive than Georgia Bowers & Texas Sanders.
Holker has limited value as a blocker, but his smooth athleticism and adjustment skills as a pass catcher can get him on the field. He projects as an F tight end or developmental H-back, who is at his best working from the slot and on the move - Dane Brugler
Many like Konk as I do. Josh Whyle has gained weight. Others teams did attempt to pry/trade Whyle away from TEN, yet I held on to Josh. If Whyle is not there yet & has not developed, I like Holker to compete with Whyle as the Titans TE2. Yes, Brian will probably use mostly 11 personnel with 3 WRs sets. This is about the entire Tennessee TE depth behind Konk. As for Holker to push Whyle to be better for us. We have Thomas Odukoya as our blocking TE. If you do not like Holker's blocking skills, too bad. This is another weapon for Levis for TEN to have a receiving FB/TE to put it that way. Levis needs all the weapons he can get Round 6, pick 183: MJ Devonshire, CB, Pitt
5'11" 186 lbs, 4.45 forty, 38.5" vertical, 10-4 broad. Ranked as CB10 on my board. MJ locks guys up in man, smooth backpedal, changes direction with ease, & can play through the hip pocket. Devonshire constantly impressed me throughout the Shrine Bowl as the best CB there & on the ACC tape. Pitt had a horrible offense with the most injured offensive line in the nation & that facet hurt the value or hype of MJ. I respected the talent of the SHIRE & I think many scouts we're too harsh on MJ & did not see the talent as I did with this Panthers CB
Devonshire is more of an aggressive athlete than true instinctive ballhawk, but his linear burst, speed & length help him make plays in coverage. He is a developmental player with the tools to play man, zone, & special teams - Dane Brugler
Ran obtaining L'Jarius Sneed & Chidobe Awuzie allowed me to wait patiently at CB to cover our many other holes first. I always liked MJ throughout the scouting process. Landing em at 183 overall was perfect value to me. MJ will be the Titans CB4 behind Roger McCreary
Round 6, pick 198: Jaylon Carlies, S, Missouri
6'2" 227 lbs, 20 reps, 4.50 forty, 32.5' vertical, 10-5 broad. Ranked to me as safety #10. I watch SEC tape every Saturday. I am a Tennessee Vols alumni. I never miss a UT game. In the SEC, it just means more. Carlies has went against the best of the best & excelled.
Impressive size/speed athlete with cut-up muscle and a remarkable wingspan ... carries seam speed stride for stride and covers a lot of ground in a short time (21.88 mph speed was the fastest during Shrine Bowl week _ Dane Brugler
We have Amani Hooker, that is light under the weather as our strong safety. We only have Elijah Molden here to mix with Jaylon Carlies at free safety. This draft class does not have many good free safeties that can fit a single high deep free safety for the next level. Am I going out on a limb here starting Jaylon Carlies at free safety? Yes. TEN has a ton of holes to fulfill & it's impossible for any team to cover everything in one draft class. Rome was not built in a day. Will TEN have to keep drafting WRs, safeties, & WRs in the future? yes. I am hoping the speed of Carlies & Molden can cover the bridge gap for 24' until Ran can finally draft our future free safety in 2025
Round 7, pick 227: Lideatrick Griffin, WR, Miss State
5’10" 181 lbs, 4.43 forty, 35.5" vertical, 10-4 broad. Ranked as WR21 on my board. Impressed in the Shrine Bowl event. Griffin has the most return experience of any WR in this draft class. With the new NFL rules changing the landscape of how kickoffs & punts will be performed, I know Justin Melo likes and supports this pick. This allows Spears & Jackson to just focus on offense. This means Griffin handles all punts & kickoffs
Griffin lacks polish as a route runner, but he can be dangerous with the ball in his hands, and his return talent is a strong selling point - Dane Brugler
I gave WIll Levis a 2nd WR here that has SEC experience & is very quick on tape. Quan Jackson & Griffin can be the under WRs we never had. With Hopkins & Ridley on the outside usually, this gives Levis two new WRs with speed to compete with Burks for targets to do work in the slot & the under routes. Both Action Jackson & Griffin are battle tested

Yes I ultimately replaced NWI & Philips (old & busted) for Jackson & Griffin (new hotness). Turn the page. Embrace the pace
Round 7, pick 239: Eric Watts, edge, Uconn
6'5" 274 lbs, 21 reps, 4.67 forty, 36.5" vertical, 10-9 broad. With that speed per size, that is what I call hybrid DT/DE like my first pick in Murphy. Ranked Watts as IDL #15. That's right, Eric is ranked as an IDL. Eric is a defensive enigma in this class. Watts has the size to play interior, yet has the athleticism to be an 4-3 nickel DE if need be. Most of the late edgs I wanted in round 7 we're gone. So I decided to draft Watts as an edge.

I ultimately sent Arden Key packing to the Dolphins to gain two more draft picks, thus Watts becomes our edge #5 depth piece. Eric will compete with Caleb Murphy & Rashad Weaver in our DE edge room. TEN used to be a 3-4 scheme that had OLB as edges. That was the old & busted scheme with Mike Vrabel. This is the new hotness nickel 3 safety set blitz happy scheme with Dennard Wilson. In the new scheme, the OLBs become DEs
Round 7, pick 242: David White Jr, WR, Western Carolina
6’2” 195 lbs, runs crisp routes, outside WR with size. Ranked as WR23 on my board. David is essentially a steal that was drafted late like Colton Dowell that both we're/will be given UDFA grades. Both take in round 7. I like White on tape and throughout the Shrine Bowl event as the 2nd best WR there at the event. The best WR in the Shrine Bowl event was MaliK Washington. Of course the Rams took the Cavalier at #100 overall. To me in this class, David is the cheap version of Keon Coleman, to compare prospect to prospect at the same position. I gave Will Levis three (3) new WRs to work with Quan Jackson, Griffin, & White. Our other WRs under contract are Hopkins, Ridley, Burks, & Kearis Jackson Round 7, pick 252: Taulia Tagovailoa, QB, Maryland
Brian Callahan wanted a new backup QB2 behind Levis & brought in Mason Rudolph from PIT. After sending Malik Willis away to the Saints that wanted QB & WR depth. I realized TEN at least needed a QB3 emergency depth name to replace Malik's spot. The NFL allows a QB3 to remain on the 53 roster & not count as a roster spot under the new Trey Lance/Brock Purdy rule. It was my plan all along to spend my last draft pick on a QB
Taulia is a confident, mobile passer who shines in the RPO game, but his lack of top-tier physical traits will make it tough for him to overcome inconsistent decision-making in the NFL - Dane Brugler
Most do not like Taulia. I ranked Taulia as QB6 in this class. Taulia was the Shrine Bowl MVP. There is a scout & anonymous TEN fan out there named YARD that truly loves this pick.
Trades:
  1. The Tennessee Titans have traded the 7th overall pick to the New Orleans Saints for the 14th & 45th overall picks
  2. The Tennessee Titans have traded the 14th pick to the Philadelphia Eagles for the 22nd, 53rd, & 120th picks
  3. The Tennessee Titans have traded Daniel Brunksill to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for the 158th overall pick
  4. The Tennessee Titans have traded Malik Willis & Nick Westbrook-Ikhine to the New Orleans Saints in exchange for the 190th & 239th picks
  5. Tennessee Titans send Caleb Farley, Kyle Philips, & the 190th pick to the Las Vegas Raiders for Divine Deablo
  6. Tennessee Titans have traded Arden Key to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for Channing Tindall, 183rd pick, & 196th pick
Disclaimer: Why this is at the bottom. Last year, I got about 20 compliments from my work. Then, I got hundreds of negative complaints about the trades. Every team makes trades. The Dolphins traded both Tyreek Hill & Jaylen Waddle away to other teams. It's a game within a game. If you dislike the idea of Titans veterans that I sent away, guess what? They're still Titans in reality. It is a game!
No absurd trades. Probably safest to go with no trades at all. Use the picks the Titans have, unless a trade is rumored.
Reddit, our server allows player trades. "I'm happy for u tho. Or sorry that happened.' Ranahan says deal with it!

I get this response a lot. "I do not like the value you got for this pick trade (of 7 to 14 to 22). I do not like the value you got for trading this name away. This veteran Titan is worth this amount & you should have got this pick for them"

You do not know the competitors. You do not know what was on the table & what was off the table. You can send whatever ideas you come up with, to other NFL teams. That does not mean they will accept them. The simulators or video games allow you to do whatever you want

The craziest idea I heard from other TEN fans was the dream of Minnesota sending us the 11 & 23 (two first round picks) for our 7. Did the Vikings even do that for the 5th or 6th overall pick? No, absolutely not. They waited until their pick came at 11 overall & took JJ McCarthy. Then they traded down from 23 overall to 33, to do what MIN wanted to do

In this game, it gets real! General Manager Ran Carthon & chairmen of football operations Chad Brinker have to do an iceberg ton of work behind the scenes to annually scout 600 student athletes from the NCAA for than evolution of becoming NFL players. All 32 NFL teams do this work

One has to create dozens & dozens of conditional offers, weeks in advance prior to the draft. Then, when the show begins. Half of the initial pre-setup offers will be declined. Especially when they found out the top 3 WRs are off the board.
Everyone wanted/wants Harrison, Nabers, & Odunze. Guess what? They're gone by in the top 6 picks!!!!!

I got an 3rd round offer for Harold Landry. Did I take it? no. I got a late 3rd round offer (90s) for Treylon Burks? Did I take it? No. All the best WRs we're gone in the top 80 picks. I got an offer from PIT for 38. Did I take it? no
Six former backup Titans go out the door. 2 new veterans enter the door in LB Deablo & LB Tindall. Some TEN fans still have hope in CB Caleb Farley. Rumor has it, Caleb is in phase one of recovery again at organized training activities & is till trying to return to full form. I've lost hope Farley can do that. I went from one Hokie in Farley to another Hokie in Deablo (Hokie for Hokie)
You might like WRs Nick Westbrook-Ikhine & Kyle Philips. I do not. I'm done with both of them. If Ran drafts some WRs (3) as I did. Both of these can easily be waived in late August/early Sept (Nick & Kyle). I have spent four years watching Nick never get open & I've seen enough of it. Kyle Philips has produced two season for a total of 23 receptions

I like Daniel Brunskill. Daniel is 30 now & I used em to gain an additional pick at #158. This was my first trade performed back when TEN only had 7 original picks in early March. Did I know I was going to end up with 16 draft picks before I pushed the Brunskill trade? I did not. If I knew I was going to get 16 picks back in March, I would have kept Daniel. I'm still happy with replacing Brunskill with Mahogany

2024.04.12 22:50 HawkFan907 2024 2 Round Mock Draft based on latest intel - 2 weeks left!

*note*
I know to expect downvotes from fans of any team taking JJ McCarthy and any team not taking Drake Maye in the top few picks. Sorry, I have to stick to the intel.
All of these nuggets are sourced from various well-connected draft experts. The list includes:
Kiper, Yates, Schefter, DJ, Miller, Rodgers, Brooks, Pauline, Brugler, etc.
TEAM SPECIFIC RUMORS
WAS - Kiper and Yates both are still hearing that WAS is in on JJ McCarthy
---4/05/24---
ARI multiple teams have said that ARI is the prime candidate to move back in the draft
DEN is trying to trade into the top 10 for a QB
LAC is looking at OT or a trade down with their first pick because of salary cap issues

QB

WR

TE
---4/12/24---
Bowers is nearing top 10 lock status
---4/05/24---
---3/29/24---
Bowers won't make it past pick #12

OL

DE

IDL
---4/12/24---
Sweat might drop out of the first three rounds due to off-field concerns. Round 4 is where all sins are absolved as they say in scouting circles.
Media is catching up on Ruke Orhohoro
---4/05/24---
Braden Fiske will go much earlier than expected according to league sources
Kris Jenkins is higher among league sources than the media
---3/29/24---
Murphy and Newton seem to be the only 2 IDLs scouts have going in Rd 1

LB
---4/12/24---
----4/05/24---
---3/29/24---
The only LB that could sniff rd 1 is Colson

CB
---4/12/24---
Mike Sainristil is sounding more like a 2nd round lock
DeJean is a first round pick, ceiling is JAX at pick 17
---4/05/24---
Max Melton could go as high as Rd 2 according to different teams
---3/29/24---
Bills seem to be doing a lot of work on this CB class
Quinyon Mitchell is separating himself as CB1 according to sources
Terrion Arnold is a 1st round lock

S
---4/12/24---
Dejean is a safety on most teams' boards
---4/05/24---
Nubin was a poor tester and that is turning teams off to his talent
---3/29/24---
Cole Bishop is a 2nd round lock

---TRADES---
MIN - 1.11, 1.23, 2025 1st to LAC for 1.05
IND - 1.15, 2.46 to ATL for 1.08
BUF - 1.28, 2.60, 2025 1st to CHI for 1.9
MIA - 1.21, 2.55 to SEA for 1.16, 4.102
BAL - 1.30, 3.93, 4.113 to SEA for 1.21
SF - 1.31, 3.94, 4.124 to DAL for 1.24
LV - 2.44, 4.112, 2025 2nd to TB for 1.26
NYG - 2.47, 4.107, 2025 4th to TEN for 2.38
NYJ - 3.72, 4.111 to BAL for 2.62, 6.218

DRAFT
1. CHI - Caleb Williams QB USC
Sharpie

2. WAS - Jayden Daniels QB LSU
Outside of a report from one Twitter account, all of the big names in the industry have sources saying it will be Daniels

3. NE - Drake Maye QB UNC
Could move off this pick if they get a haul exceeding an offer better than 3 firsts (probably 3 firsts and change)

4. ARI - Marvin Harrison Jr. WR OSU
They love to move around, but they risk missing out on a legit blue chip talent

5. MIN* - J.J. McCarthy QB Michigan
No surprise that LAC is willing to move down based on all of the intel

6. NYG - Malik Nabers WR LSU
Would have taken McCarthy had he fallen to them

7. TEN - Joe Alt OT Notre Dame
Almost as chalky as Williams it seems. Only risk is if LAC sticks and picks Alt.

8. IND* - Brock Bowers TE Georgia
Latest rumor had them moving up to grab Bowers. ATL is more than willing to move down and snag a 2nd.

9. BUF* - Rome Odunze WR Washington
Big move up. Some reports have them making a big move, others actually a trade back. Decided to go with the move up this time since it will be different than the mock last week.

10. NYJ - Taliese Fuaga OT Oregon St
Toss up between Fuaga and Fautanu with the weapons gone. Been connected to Fuaga for longer.

11. LAC* - Troy Fautanu OT Washington
They know they can get an elite OL here while also snagging another first for a weapon.

12. DEN - Dallas Turner DE Alabama
Pick of whatever pass rusher they want

13. LV - Quinyon Mitchell CB Toledo
Toss up between QB, CB, and OL. Went CB this time around.

14. NO - Olu Fashanu OT Penn St
The Penning experiment is over

15. ATL* - Chop Robinson DE Penn St
Latest intel pins Chop in the first half of the first round

16. MIA* - JC Latham OT Alabama
Some teams have Latham as OT1 or OT2, and others have him as a great IOL prospect. MIA needs both and jump JAX, CIN, LAR, and PIT all of whom could go OT.

17. JAX - Terrion Arnold CB Alabama
Toss up between Thomas Jr. and Arnold here

18. CIN - Byron Murphy DT Texas
Address a major need with an immediate impact player

19. LAR - Jared Verse DE Florida State
Need a consistent pass rush across from Murphy

20. PIT - Graham Barton IOL Duke
Like longer arm OTs so you know he will play IOL

21. BAL* - Amarius Mims OT Georgia
A big move up to grab a potential all-pro player after some polish

22. PHI - Tyler Guyton OT Oklahoma
Something Howie would do is grab a very athletic (RAS 9.73) OT instead of address more needy spots early (CB, LB)

23. LAC* - Brian Thomas Jr. WR LSU
What a steal if Thomas falls here

24. SF* - Jordan Morgan OT Arizona
Morgan is a perfect fit for their OL and make a move up to ensure they get him

25. GB - Cooper Dejean S/CB Iowa
A natural fit for their defense

26. LV* - Michael Penix Jr. QB UW
A big trade up to snag their future QB. So much conflicting intel right now.

27. ARI - Laiatu Latu DE UCLA
What a steal this would be

28. CHI* - Adonai Mitchell WR Texas
After a massive trade back, they land a solid WR that can learn from the vets

29. DET - Darius Robinson DE/IDL Mizzou
All of the intel is now pointing to him being a first round lock

30. SEA* - Jer'zhan Newton IDL Illinois
Traded back twice and snag a guy who'll turn their IDL into a position of strength

31. DAL* - Kingsley Suamataia OT BYU
A lot of holes to fill, so they trade back, snag some picks, and grab a starter (albeit a little raw) at LT

32. KC - Xavier Leggette WR South Carolina
The Rice situation may have forced their hand. Leggette has slowly been creeping higher in expert mocks, and that tells me they are catching up with the league

--- Round 2 ---

33. CAR - JPJ IOL Oregon
34. NE - Ladd McConkey WR Georgia
35. ARI - Nate Wiggins CB Clemson
36. WAS - Patrick Paul OT Houston
37. LAC - Braden Fiske IDL Florida St.
38. NYG* - Bo Nix QB Oregon
39. CAR - Keon Coleman WR Florida State
40. WAS - Ben Sinnot TE Kansas St.
41. GB - Cooper Beebe IOL Kansas St.
42. HOU - Ruke Orhohoro IDL Clemson
43. ATL - Xavier Worthy WR Texas
44. TB* - Kool-Aid McKinstry CB Alabama
45. NO - Zach Frazier IOL West Virginia
46. ATL* - Kamari Lassiter CB Georgia
47. TEN* - Junior Colson LB Michigan
48. JAX - Troy Franklin WR Oregon
49. CIN - Roger Rosengarten OT UW
50. PHI - TJ Tampa CB Iowa St.
51. PIT - Malachi Corley WR Western Kentucky
52. LAR - Spencer Rattler QB South Carolina
53. PHI - Cole Bishop S/NCB Utah
54. CLE - Edgerrin Cooper LB Texas A&M
55. SEA* - Christian Haynes IOL UConn
56. DAL - Jonathan Brooks RB Texas
57. TB - Marshawn Kneeland DE Western Michigan
58. GB - Max Melton CB Rutgers
59. HOU - Ennis Rakestraw Jr CB Mizzou
60. CHI* - Braelen Trice DE Washington
61. DET - Mike Sainristil CB Michigan
62. NYJ* - Ricky Pearsall WR Florida
63. SF - Jalen McMillan WR Washington
64. KC - Brandon Coleman OT TCU

Hello all! I hope anyone and everyone reading this is having a good day in our crazy reality. Below you can find a little about me, my writing style, and how I approach writing. Feel free to peruse, and if you think we'd be a good match, let me know!
You can call me T! I go by he/him pronouns. My availability is at least once a week and more. I'm always open to communicating with my partners and letting them reply when possible. I typically aim for 200-300 words in a reply. I usually don't go lower than two hundred. Unless it's more of a back-and-forth dialogue type thing. Details are super important to me from my partner, so I do my best to give them myself.
I run my replies through Grammarly before I post them (including these request posts!), so at the very least, I hope my post is grammatically correct (*chuckle*). I write in the third person/past tense style and ask that my partner does the same; this is a requirement for writing with me. What I look for regarding my partner is someone that gets invested in a story, likes putting details in, and is open to the idea of adult themes and content enhancing a story and romance and not being a detriment to the work. I enjoy writing erotica and feel it enhances the narrative.
I'm looking for someone who feels the same way. In return, I put a lot into my stories and ideas to make them as thrilling and engaging as possible.
I can't stress that enough. I'm looking for partners interested in crafting a long-term story, world-building, and don't shy away from the adult aspects.I put a lot of work into my writing, and this is both a hobby and a passion for me. Even if I primarily do fandom writing, these characters are significant to me. If you're the type to ghost more often then not, please think twice about messaging me and wasting my time.
Please note this story will have adult content and be NSFW. I don't do Fade To black and I do want romance in these stories.
I am 18+ and all participants and characters must be 18+"

2024.04.08 15:09 15GOAT r/Commanders Full 7-Round Sub Mock Draft [RESULTS + UDFA]

Oh you thought this was over? We still need to make some offers to the kids that went undrafted! I have a few other simulators I’ll be processing names through. The way this will work is the most upvoted comment will be our highest priority UDFA and set the multiplier. AP will be doing what’s necessary to make sure the prospect picks Washington. While that pick will have the highest odds, I’ll work my sim/rng magic for all comments to see if they’ll accept our offer or sign elsewhere
I completed the mock draft simulation so you can see who was taken after our 7.222 pick. Jalyx Hunt out of Houston Baptist was our final selection. Thank you to everyone that participated and made this fun. I’ll be responding to comments tomorrow morning to let you know if or where they signed and I’ll have a final post with images of our full haul
