Essential on Tips For A Proper Hair Care Routine
In today’s fast-paced world, when every day offers new challenges and thrills, it’s easy to neglect basic joys such as the health of our hair. Yet, our locks are not just strands of keratin; they are a reflection of our overall well-being and confidence. That’s why it’s critical to devote time and effort to a healthy hair care regimen. And who better to guide us through this journey than the esteemed Dr. Neha Agrawal, renowned for her expertise in holistic wellness at ECOS Clinic Essential?
Dr. Neha Agrawal understands that a beautiful head of hair goes beyond mere aesthetics; it’s a manifestation of internal harmony and external care. Here are her invaluable tips to help you achieve and maintain luscious, healthy locks:
1.Nutrition is Key: Just like any other part of our body, our hair requires nourishment from within. Dr. Agrawal emphasizes the importance of a balanced diet rich in vitamins, minerals, and proteins. Incorporate foods like leafy greens, nuts, eggs, and fatty fish into your meals to promote hair growth and strength.
2. Gentle Cleansing: Harsh chemicals found in many commercial shampoos can strip the hair of its natural oils, leaving it dry and brittle. Dr. Agrawal recommends opting for sulfate-free, gentle cleansers that cleanse without compromising the hair’s integrity. Additionally, washing your hair 2–3 times a week is usually sufficient to maintain cleanliness without over-drying.

3.Hydration is Vital: Just as our bodies need hydration to thrive, so does our hair. Dr. Agrawal advises incorporating a hydrating conditioner into your routine to replenish moisture lost during cleansing. Look for products containing ingredients like coconut oil, shea butter, or argan oil to nourish and hydrate your strands.
4.Protective Styling: Excessive heat styling, tight hairstyles, and chemical treatments can wreak havoc on our hair, leading to breakage and damage. Dr. Agrawal suggests embracing protective styles like braids, buns, or loose waves to minimize stress on the hair shaft. And when using heat styling tools, always apply a heat protectant spray beforehand to shield your strands from damage.
5.Regular Trims: Split ends are the bane of healthy hair, hindering growth and giving the appearance of dullness. Dr. Agrawal advises scheduling regular trims every 6–8 weeks to snip away split ends and promote healthier, stronger hair growth.
6.Mind-Body Connection: Stress and anxiety can take a toll on our overall health, including the condition of our hair. Dr. Agrawal advocates for stress management techniques such as meditation, yoga, or deep breathing exercises to promote relaxation and reduce hair fall caused by stress.
7.Seek Professional Advice: Finally, if you’re experiencing persistent hair issues such as excessive shedding, scalp irritation, or sudden changes in texture, don’t hesitate to seek professional help. Dr. Agrawal and her team at ECOS Clinic Essential offer personalized consultations and treatments tailored to your unique needs.
In conclusion, a proper hair care routine is not just a luxury; it’s a necessity for maintaining healthy, vibrant locks that radiate confidence and well-being. By following Dr. Neha Agrawal’s expert advice and incorporating these tips into your daily regimen, you’ll be well on your way to unlocking the secret to luxurious hair that turns heads and leaves a lasting impression.

2024.05.14 13:23 digital_wiz How We Scaled a Hair Extension Brand using Facebook Ads and SEO to give $80,000 ROI in 6 Months (Detailed Breakdown)

Hello Redditors,
This is an incredible success story of how we helped a client achieve incredible results in just four months, generating an $80,000 return on investment (ROI) with a combination of SEO and Facebook Ads. We have completed many successful projects and there's a certain satisfaction in seeing our strategies translate to such tangible growth. I have tried to keep this post extremely detailed so that it can be beneficial for experienced marketers and newcomers alike.
The Client: Hair Extension E-commerce Brand
Revenue Split Between SEO and Fb ads: 3:2
Average Order Value: $350
Total Revenue(6 months): $140,000
Expenses(6 months): Product Cost + Delivery cost + Team + Agency Fees + Ads Cost+ Website Optimization + Packaging: $60000
Basic Company Background:
The brand was being run by a Mother-Daughter duo for the past 3 months. They had a shopify website with average structure and were struggling with facebook ads themselves. Although they made few physical sales due to friends and relatives but were unable to utilize the digital potential of their business as such. After trying facebook ads for some time they wanted a reliable digital marketing team to work with and they were recommended to us by one of our other customers who has a service based business. Initially we connected majorly for facebook ads but after the initial discussion when were doing research from our side, we found that there is huge potential in SEO for this niche so we suggested that we should prepare a proper website on wordpress and focus on both SEO and Ads parallelly as, although Ads will give an initial boost to the business but SEO will bring some stability and help in building a sustainable business.
Facebook Ads Campaign Structure:
Ads Creatives and Brand Positioning:
It's important to note that after deep research we could find that a major share our hair extensions customers are females aged between 21-45 so we did not actively position our brand as solving problems of low hair volume, but instead we focused on how the products ads style, gives a much better look and you can try new hairstyles and hair colors daily. Also since almost all the demographics in this age group are working, we tested a professional look angle as well which gave us decent results. In ad creatives as well as on the website we made the daughter as the face of the product as we want to slowly grow her instagram as well which can add another organic and sustainable stream of revenue. She shoots before and after transition videos, general product application videos and other videos for ads according to the target audience and brand positioning strategy we discussed earlier. Instead of making long videos focused on product details a lot, we made short but captivating videos which can appeal to the young audience’s fashion sense.
Key Takeaways from FB Ads:
Mostly Meta Ads or Any other marketing tactic is just a traffic source but conversion will basically happen by how well you are able to communicate your product to the audience through your website. Its is necessary to have a smooth user journey, attractive offers, crisp information and right brand positioning on the website.
It is extremely important to make data driven decisions and track customer journeys meticulously. Always rely on your own tracking or google analytics to avoid the potential unreliability of Facebook Ads Manager.
Seo Strategy
If you don’t already know this, SEO is all about how effectively you can strategize your content and technical efforts keeping a bigger picture in mind. After our initial keyword research we could find that the average Kd of the important keywords was low when it comes to commercial keywords which were directly related to the business.
It's important to note that since the website was being built after our onboarding only so it was easy for us to structure the website according to the SEO strategy that we prepared.
At every stage we had meetings with the developer to ensure that there are no technical issues that will hinder the SEO growth and future and also we structured the website to be SEO friendly. We built separate pages for all the product categories and after through keyword research we added content to those pages so that the pages itself can rank for commercial keywords.
After the website was ready we audited it for technical issues(Like mobile friendliness, H1 tags, canonical tags, etc) we started focusing on the content. We wanted to establish our website as a trusted authority in the hair extensions and hair care industry in general.
Since the website was completely new, initially we created blogs(2-3 times per week) around informational keywords with low KD purely for increasing our website authority and bringing the initial traffic on the website. We have seen that usually people start stressing about approaching big websites for guest postings since the first day itself but if your keyword research and content is solid, that is not required in the beginning. Initially we focused on profile creations, image submissions, pdf submissions, internal linking in the content, web 2.0 backlinks etc and this was more than enough for us to rank for low difficulty keywords and increase our DA to a decent level so that our category pages can rank for low difficulty keywords.
Here I would like to include a tip, many times people are worried that what if the backlink that they have created doesn't get indexed. In the initial phase we work really hard when it comes to what we call as maturing our backlinks as this is the major factor for ranking on low difficulty keywords. So basically what we do is, we make backlinks of our web 2.0 backlinks itself which helps the primary backlink in getting indexed which ultimately helps with our website DA.
Also many people have been asking us in our previous posts how we structure our blog since I talk a lot about content quality, see it's not as hard and it doesn't involve a lot of research at least in the initial phase when you just have to rank on low difficulty keywords. In this phase usually what we do is study the top 5 ranking blogs on the particular keyword and make sure that we include more content and more subheadings then them. Also we try to find opportunities to include tables or charts wherever possible, we include good quality images(original if possible) and at this stage internal linking is very very important so we focus on that as well. In later stages although the basic strategy for framing the blogs remains same, overall content strategy varies a lot from business to business and requires a lot of strategizing depending on the brand positioning goals.
So after we were able to rank for low difficulty informational keywords and our Website DA reached a decent level due to our backlinking efforts, we started writing content around the fashion advice and common problems which people face related to hair in general. But as discussed earlier, we wanted to keep our brand positioning fashion centric, so even while writing about common problems we applied a positive and solution centric approach. We strategically placed internal links to our product pages in the content and tested popups with offers as well. Apart from this, we started guest posting as well at this stage. For finding websites for guest posting we used SEMrush’s backlink gap analysis tool and created a segregated list of blogs that we can reach out to based on their content quality and DA. By this time the store started generating decent revenue from ads and SEO so the client was completely onboard with reaching out to blogs for guest posting. Guest posting and overall strategic SEO application started generating a good amount of traffic for us and in 3-4 months the revenue generated due to SEO surpassed our Ads revenue as well.
Advantages of Combining SEO and Paid Ads
While Facebook Ads played a crucial role in launching the brand and driving initial traffic, SEO has emerged as the primary driver of sustainable growth. This approach allowed us to:
SEO efforts are always ongoing but we are really satisfied with the base that we have built and we are really looking forward to working with keywords with higher KD and generating more revenue with SEO In the upcoming months. Although we will keep running ads in future as well mostly for awareness purposes but the major revenue will be generated from our SEO efforts. Apart from this, as we mentioned earlier, we are looking to actively start the Social Media efforts as well from the next month itself. We will be looking to target Instagram and Tiktok in the initial phase and we believe in 2-3 months social media will contribute towards 25% of our revenue which will grow rapidly.

Thankyou For Reading!

2024.05.14 12:48 shioway76 AITAH for using my family’s money/status to get an exemption from the hair dress code?

Sometimes I like to style my hair like Fumiko from chainsaw man. Normally I leave it untied, but I think her hairstyle is cute, so when I tie it, it’s usually that. My private school only allows certain methods of tying hair and that isn’t one of them. My family is extremely wealthy to the point that I’ll never need to work, and has a ton of influence. So I told my parents I wanted to be able to do my hair how I like and they got the school to change it for me.
Someone in my class was throwing a fit, but the way I see it, I should be allowed to wear it however makes me feel happy. I like to feel cute and look pretty for my boyfriend

2024.05.14 11:05 lunamoon446 botched nose job ruined my life

I had a botched nose job at the age of 16, and then a botched revision at the age of 19. This has affected me to the point where I barely sleep anymore. I used to be soooo unique looking, like high fashion so, now I look so basic and not striking anymore. In the past, I was ashamed because my big nose didn’t look like anyone’s but now I wished I just embraced my uniqueness and let myself grow up naturally. I sometimes fantasize about that.
Sometimes I edit my nose to make it look a bit similar as to how it was before (technically impossible but still). My previous nose just matched my features better and was incredibly striking (like a Greek statue).
Now my nose is deformed, small and mutilated. I wear glasses to hide it, and now my essence has changed. I hide my face. Now there’s no visual weight to my face, now I look like any other girl, and don’t even stand out.
I lost my identity. I hate looking at my brother in the face because he has the same nose I used to have and it is painful to see because it looks so good on him.
Everyone tells me my nose was better before, I used to get complimented more and now I barely receive compliments
I’m also in the art scene so looking unique is a thing and I can’t even look unique not even with a cool hairstyle or bleach eyebrows.
I wished I never did this. I don’t look like my ethnicity or family anymore. The doctors say my nose was mutilated. I barely have a nose bridge anymore. My nostrils collapsed, my dorsum is non existent (that’s why I wear glasses because at least it hides it)
My nose is non-existent and I can’t barely breathe through one side and I’m in constant pain.
I’m trying to save money for revision with a skillful dr but I make a misery of money and I’m in a visa so I can’t do anything else. I feel trapped and I can’t take this anymore.

2024.05.14 10:47 Temporary_Username5 Can I get some hair tips please

I grew up in foster care and bounced placements every couple months so I never had a mom or big sister to teach me how to do my hair.. I bought an automatic curler with one with the circle in the middle and the thing around it I don’t even know the proper name and I tried looking it up I just kept googling automatic curler tutorials and watched YouTube tutorials and keep getting my hair stuck and pulled and half in half out I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Can someone please explain to me like I’m a little kid how to use it. And any cute hairstyle updos that are actually easy?? I am so overwhelmed as a mid 20’s adult trying to learn how to do my haimakeup/nails/dress nice. But I have twin daughters (and my sons maybe they’ll need to know too) and I need to learn for them so I can teach them when they get curious about that stuff. Any advice on any of that is truly appreciated!! I ordered some makeup too and I’m going to have no idea how to use it when it gets here I’ve been watching tutorials but it looks so complicated and I know I’m going to mess it up but I’ll keep practicing until I get it.. Thank you!

2024.05.14 08:47 Lopsided_Anything_60 my local shop checks my money every time i’m in normal clothes but never when i’m in school uniform

it sounds just as weird as it is. i’ve been going to this shop since i was very little, i’ve always lived here and for years going there was a daily thing. i haven’t had a history of stealing, using fake money or being disrespectful. EVER. there’s nothing for them to use against me to need to check. but the weird thing is i’ve only seen it happen to me and only when i’m in my normal clothes
i wouldn’t say i’m enough but i do definitely dress a little like it. constantly in band shirts, cargos/black jeans and black boots or my converse. nothing to extreme, no big eyeliner, excessive jewellery or cool hairstyles and colours. apart from my clothes i look like a very friendly young lady.i do tend to keep my headphones on which has become a running joke between me and another worker there who i’m very close with. but everyone apart from him obsessively check my money every time i wear my usual clothes.
i don’t think i’m doing anything to warrant them obsessively checking my money. i try my best to hold a conversation despite my anxiety and speech issues, i always ask how their day is and if i don’t have the energy for that i’ll always at least ask how they are. i try my best to be as polite as possible as that’s how i was raised to be but despite all of that they check only my money every time
but this isn’t the case when i’m in my school uniform, the workers who usually avoid conversation are very chatty, never once have i gotten money checked when i wear my uniform, they always smile back and ask how my day is.
i don’t wear anything to extreme it’s very toned down but i still just don’t get why me and why not when i’m in my uniform:(

2024.05.14 02:59 squigglymilkshake Please share your opinion: should I get a pixie?

Photos of my current hair here: https://imgur.com/a/tqANpvc
I’ve loved the idea of a pixie for as long as I can remember but I’ve never gone for it. As a younger person I felt it might not suit me as I’ve always been overweight and I have a small head for my body 😅 I feel like a pixie might just draw attention to that? I’m almost 35 now so I have fewer fucks to give, but I also want outside opinions on whether my impulsive drive to chop all my hair off might be worth reconsidering 😂
My biggest motivator (besides wanting to look cool!) is having a low ish maintenance hairstyle. I have wavy, medium thick hair that’s currently around my shoulders. It’s pretty flat on top, but I find the shorter I cut it the more volume I can get in the top. I’m in a season of life where I don’t have a ton of time to style my hair, so I usually either sleep with it plopped up in a bunch of gel and let it down to air dry for hours the next morning (it takes forever to dry!) or I brush it out and let it air dry straight-ish and frizzy-ish, occasionally straightening it when I need to.
I’m not sure what kind of pixie style I’d want - I love the look of super short styles on folks with more feminine features, and I love the lol of longer styles on people who don’t seem to have as much wild frizz. Any suggestions are appreciated!

2024.05.14 02:33 Busy_Distribution_91 AITA for backing out of my cousins wedding??

My cousin is getting married in July and having a beach destination wedding.
My aunt (cousins mom) is paying for the wedding.
Yesterday at a family gathering for Mother’s Day, my aunt says to me “no funny business at the wedding”
Confused, I asked her to elaborate. She said “none of that gay stuff. No makeup, no nail polish, no fruity outfits, no girly hairstyles… and for god sake grow some hair on your legs. You’re a man and you WILL act like one”
For reference, I’m gender fluid and gender non conforming. I have long (mid back) hair and a short well kept beard. I shave my body hair (except the beard). I don’t wear makeup everyday but I usually have my nails done and my clothing is a mix of both “masculine” and “feminine” attire.
I’m happy with myself and the way I present myself and have been for many years. This is nothing new, and I’ve never been given grief over it before by any family or friends, including her.
And, for what it’s worth, the outfit I have picked out for the wedding (which she already saw) is a tux for the ceremony and male dressy beach clothes for the after party.
Offended, I, “first off, this is not YOUR wedding, second, if this is such a big deal, why was I even invited??”
She said “I just don’t want to be embarrassed and have the photos ruined”
To which I said, “well I won’t ruin anything because I’m not going”
She got mad and said I had to because the seating and catering is already set and if I don’t go it will mess it up.
I’ve already cancelled my flight and explained in private to my cousin why I don’t want to attend anymore and she was very understanding.
TL;DR: AITA for backing out of my cousins wedding after being told that being my authentic self would too embarrassing for her mom to handle??

2024.05.13 22:02 the_good_daze Hair tools for a complete novice?

I’ve gotten really into skincare over the last several months and it’s put me on a path to care about my appearance overall a bit more. Not in a superficial way, just generally wanting to look and feel more put together and look like I care about myself, because I do!
I’m looking for recommendations for hairstyle tools. A hot brush? A straightener that could also do some curls? Good (and easy) hair styling videos on YouTube?
I have very long, mostly straight but kind of wavy hair. I just let it air dry after a wash, try to go a a couple days in between washes, and have zero skills or knowledge on how to do anything more with it. I used to straighten it every day in high school and college back when flat straight hair was the trend. I love that volume/blow outs are in style again, and would love to learn some easy ways to add a bit more style to my hair.
Any products, recommendations, or resources you can send my way are greatly appreciated :)

2024.05.13 21:58 ObjectivePrinciple56 babygal seeking advice

Hello 🎀 I never use Reddit, but I wanted to connect with other gals and stumbled across this subreddit. I’m fairly new to gyaru fashion, and I feel like I've become completely obsessed. I adore it and all gals stand for. My favorites are agejo, hime, as well as himekaji. I wanted to know if there was anything else I could do to fully educate myself, as I want to do everything I can before I actively start participating in the culture. I’ve read up on the history (either from watching YouTube videos or from HelloLizzieBee’s blog) and the different subcultures within gyaru. I’ve also been reading through magazines (egg, Vanilla, Popteen, Kilala, etc.) to study the makeup and hairstyles. I’ve started doing my nails and DIYing my wardrobe (as brand names are expensive). I also attempted to do my makeup for the first time, which was not that great lol, but anyways, is there anything else I can do or that you guys found helpful when you were baby gals? My heart literally races whenever I think about going out in full gyaru, and it feels like something i’ve been missing and i’ve finally found it ? Overall, I don’t want to be disrespectful or ignorant, especially to the gals that came before me. I hope this isn’t too long, and thank you so much in advance <3 :]

2024.05.13 21:37 ilovecatsv HOW DO I HIDE THIS BIG ASS FOREHEAD YALL😭🙏

HOW DO I HIDE THIS BIG ASS FOREHEAD YALL😭🙏
Yes like the title says , what hairstyle would be best to hide my big ass forehead or at least make it look somewhat smaller 😭 my forehead makes me so insecure that’s why I don’t rlly like trying new hairstyles cuz then if it makes my forehead appear larger I’ll have to carry it for a month. Also I have barely any edges since I used to pluck the front hair out as a kid . I wanna try wigs but don’t wanna give people a jump scare when I wear my natural hair out. This shit stresses me out everyday like when I stand face to face with people all I can think abt is the first thing they see is my forehead 😞
I’ll add a picture so u can see urself (also I don’t rlly like wearing braids anymore because as u can see in the picture it dosent kay flat but instead makes my head look even bigger )
Should I just give up and accept it or is there any thing I could do 🙏 ty <3

2024.05.13 21:29 wherethefeckarewe She Bit Me!

Whenever I’m staying in a hotel on my own I get the dreaded SP. This time I felt the depressions on my bed and someone crawl up towards me. I knew it was going to happen and got really pissed off. I had to be up early for a flight and knew that a good night’s sleep was going to be out of the question.
I tried to relax to end it quickly but I was still scared and swore at it. At this point it started giggling. I could see the back of it and saw it’s shoulders sort of scrunching up as it laughed. It then bit my hand and I could actually feel pain. I kicked out and as I shoved it away I saw that it was a woman. My SP then turned into a lucid dream and she was stood before me smiling. She looked like a woman from the 1940s with bright red lipstick and the victory roll hairstyle. I then woke up.
How on earth does my mind conjure this up?

2024.05.13 19:48 Responsible_Egg7519 How do you picture your favorite character? What physical traits would you make mandatory when they’re depicted?

DC can be very inconsistent with character’s physical appearances. They go from short to tall, buff to lean, have changing eye colors every issue—it’s all over the place. If you were in charge of a character bible for your fav, how would you make them look, how tall would they be, what hairstyle, etc.?
My favorite characters are Wally West and Kyle Rayner. So…
Wally:
• Taller and buffer than Barry, but not built like a brick shithouse or anything
• Green eyes and orange hair; I really dislike when his hair is firetruck red
• Freckles!!
Kyle:
• I like when his hair is longer like in the beginning of New Guardians or Venditti’s GL
• Brown eyes that turn whatever color ring he has. I really like the idea that the lanterns’ eyes color are affected by their rings
• He has a big scar across his neck from the events of Omega Men
