I saw her celebrate her rebirth in an orgy of blood that slowed and faded over time as the thrill was lost. I saw her find the cult, and join a coven. I saw her ennui growing. I watched her follow them home, and then let things progress until the clothes came, off, when she would attack.
I watched her draw her nourishment from them, but then pull back before they died. Enchanted by the minor mind magics these vampires used and low on blood, she would touch their unconscious bodies, their stomachs and shoulders and genitals. She would watch them, enraptured herself. Sometimes the reverie would last a moment or two, other times it would go on until they began to stir. Each time, it was the same. The same type of man, the same trip back to his place, the same foreplay, the same strange worship after. Then she left.
Tens of thousands of such men, a repeating pattern. I could feel the pleasure she took in this act, as it first fulfilled her, and later faded, becoming the barest whisper. Yet still, that was her manner of hunting. That was how she took in her nourishment. She had been saving people from the other vampires!
Not all of them. Not even most. But some. Those whom she felt might listen, or whom she knew she could get away with.
I backed off, looking at her hunts again. I dug inside of her and found the longing that prompted her choice in men. It was that these men were the opposite of her father, and the vampire who'd turned her. Both were large, masculine, humorless men. I followed those threads back to that night she'd been infected, and there I found pain.
The pain was physical. I moved from her own psyche to that of the vampire, and watched the events through his eyes. No longer was this a rebellion, an adventure. It was a rape. I heard the cries of the girl under him as each thrust caused her agony. I felt the laughter that bubbled through him as he thought about how he'd infect her soon, how her struggles to throw him off would turn to gratitude as the fresh spirit took over her body.

"What the hell happened?" she asked.
I pushed myself up, "Jesus Christ," I murmured.
"Are you okay?" she asked.
"I'm fine," I said. "I just lost track of the real world while I was following the threads of your life."
"So what's my body count?" she asked.
"About two dozen," I admitted. "And none in a very long time."
"What's yours?"

"So?" she asked.

Kathy eyed Gary when Beatrice and Jerry vanished into the room.

As the pair returned, she noticed Robin's looks and flipped her head back to eye Gary. "Remind you of anyone?"
"Mini-Ana," he said, his voice almost betraying some humor.
"It's uncanny," Kathy agreed, watching Glenn move off to go talk on the phone he pulled out of his pocket in privacy. She worked a little magic to overhear what was said.
"Th'other one looks like a character from this cartoon I used to watch on MTV," Gary noted.
"Which one?"
"Daria, it was called," he said.
"Hey," Glenn said. A voice that was vaguely familiar responded.
"You got them?"
"Yeah, but we lost most of the group. Bea came back with three others, from another coven. Everyone else is dead. Oscar, Harry, Christine... All of them."
"You're suspicious?"
"I don't know. One of them is the kind of guy she likes to eat, but... You know. One of us. She said he's her boyfriend or fuck buddy or something."
"She's not exactly very horny," the oddly familiar voice said.

David Moriarty's not coming, she sent to Gary. He's sending a crew who'll be here in two hours.
I heard, Gary replied.
Did David's voice sound familiar to you? Kathy asked.
Nope.
Kathy nodded subtly to herself and paid attention to the pair in front of her.
"She's trying to get laid," Robin said as she intercepted Glenn on his way to the other door. "That's it. She does this every couple of years. She'll try, won't be able to go through it, and then she'll be in a funk for the next couple of weeks."
"She said she's already fucked him," Glenn moaned. God, this dude really had the hots for Beatrice. Robin rolled her eyes and sighed with long-suffering patience. She knew about his crush. Kathy guessed that the women were cool with each other only because Beatrice had no interest in Glenn and Robin knew it.
"Come on," she said. "Let's go to bed."
"Okay," Glenn said. He looked pained as he eyed the door to Beatrice's room, then he nodded and walked purposefully towards the room he'd retrieved Robin from. Robin gave Kathy and Gary a look-over.
"Robin," she said.
"Claudia," Kathy replied. "And that's Louis." She hooked a thumb over her shoulder at Gary, who grunted.
"Huh," Robin said, then walked after Glenn.
Kathy and Gary waited. Five minutes passed, and she began to get antsy.
"I'm gonna go in there," she said.
"Likely to see a lily white ass bouncin' around," Gary replied.
"I don't care. I'm getting antsy. He can tuck it back in his pants and get some when he gets home, the horndog."

"About two dozen," I admitted. "And none in a very long time."
"What's yours?"

"So?" she asked.

These women have a lot of hypocrisy claiming female circumcision is “unislamic” but fully advocating for male circumcision. The hadith does mention that there was a woman who did circumcision on women in medinah, the Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) said to her, don’t cut excessively as its more desireable to the husband. I can’t see myself taking part in any FGM protests because I see comments like “OMG that is so cruel, that hadith is only for men” and women are claiming like this happening to men only is a “solution to end female circumcision” I will only ever take part in an FGM protest if I see Muslim women go against male circumcision too. I already talked about a few, and as I promised, it's David Cronenberg's turn. Cronenberg grew up by reading tons of books at his house. His father tried to introduce him to art films like The Seventh Seal, but Cronenberg preferred pirate and western films instead. As an avid reader, he was fascinated by the works of Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov and Philip K. Dick. He was also a big fan of comic books, and despite later considering comic book adaptations as artistically limited, he maintains some fondness for the character of Shazam. While he had seen a lot of films, it was Bambi that made him consider a career in filmmaking. After making short films, he decided to start experimental films. From a box office perspective, how reliable is he to deliver a box office hit? That's the point of this post. To analyze his career. Stereo (1969)"Tile 3B of a CAEE Educational Mosaic"His directorial debut. The film follows Ronald Mlodzik, Jack Messinger, Iain Ewing, Clara Mayer, Paul Mulholland, Arlene Mlodzik, and Glenn McCauley, and follows several young volunteers who participate in a parapsychological experiment. As an experimental film with a very low budget ($8,500), it didn't have a theatrical run. It premiered at the National Arts Centre, before a representative from the Museum of Modern Art bought the rights to screen it. Crimes of the Future (1970)His second film and it shares the same cast as his previous film. In a dystopic world where a plague is killing off pubescent human females, an esoteric researcher seeks his missing mentor while trying to retain morality in the sex-obsessed society he lives in.Similar to his previous film, it was an experimental film. Both films are not well received among Cronenberg's fans, and this film in particular was criticized for wasting a good premise. And to be clear, besides the title, this film has no relation in the slightest to his newest film. Shivers (1975)"Terror beyond the power of priest or science to exorcise!"His third film. It stars Paul Hampton, Lynn Lowry, and Barbara Steele, and follows the residents of a suburban high-rise apartment building who are being infected by a strain of parasites that turn them into mindless, sex-crazed fiends out to infect others by the slightest sexual contact. While in France, Cronenberg attended the Cannes Film Festival, where he realized that he needed to expand his abilities beyond the experimental films if he wanted to be considered a serious director. The Canadian Film Development Corporation invested $179,000 on the budget, but Cronenberg admitted the fears of having to make the film on a tight schedule, as he had no idea how to make a film. In Canada, the film earned $5 million ($3.7 million in US dollars), making it a very profitable film. The film was poorly received at first but grew in appreciation, although it was still far from Cronenberg's best films. But it was a good place to start.
Rabid (1977)"One minute they're perfectly normal. The next..."His fourth film. The film stars Marilyn Chambers, Frank Moore, Joe Silver, and Howard Ryshpan, and follows a woman who, after being injured in a motorcycle accident and undergoing a surgical operation, develops an orifice under one of her armpits that hides a phallic/clitoral stinger she uses to feed on people's blood. Those she bites become infected, and then feed upon others, spreading the disease exponentially. The result is massive chaos, starting in the Quebec countryside, and ending up in Montreal. The film stars William Smith, John Saxon, Claudia Jennings and Nicholas Campbell, and follows a race-car driver who decides to steal a car after his sponsor replaces him with his arch rival. The film deviated from Cronenberg's previous works, as it was an action film in contrast to the horror and psychological elements from the previous films. While critical reception was positive, Cronenberg is not fond of the film even as he loved drag racing, as he felt the script did not respect his original vision, and admitted to making it solely for the money. The Brood (1979)"They're waiting for you!"His sixth film. It stars Oliver Reed, Samantha Eggar, and Art Hindle, and follows a man and his mentally ill ex-wife, who has been sequestered by a psychiatrist known for his controversial therapy techniques. A series of brutal unsolved murders serves as the backdrop for the central narrative. The film earned $5 million in its initial run, making it a box office hit. While it had not-so-enthusiastic reviews at first, its status has grown as a cult film. It also marked the debut of Howard Shore as composer, and he would become a frequent collaborator with Cronenberg.
Scanners (1981)"There are 4 billion people on Earth. 237 are Scanners. They have the most terrifying powers ever created... and they are winning."His seventh film. It stars Stephen Lack, Jennifer O'Neill, Michael Ironside, and Patrick McGoohan, and the plot revolves around "scanners", psychics with unusual telepathic and telekinetic powers. ConSec, a purveyor of weaponry and security systems, searches out scanners to use them for its own purposes. Cronenberg came up with the concept in the early 1970s, and pitched it to Roger Corman, who was not impressed with the script. It had a very rushed production, and Cronenberg had to film without having a complete script ready by the time the cameras started rolling. Cronenberg stated that "the first day was the most disastrous shooting day I've ever had" as "there was nothing to shoot" and a distracted truck driver watching the film crew hit a car killing two women inside it. The film was a bigger box office hit than Cronenber's previous films, becoming his first film to hit #1. It wound up earning $14 million, well above its $4 million budget. Initial reviews were mixed, but it's now regarded as one of Cronenberg's finest films. This was deemed the film that elevated him into a more popular director.
Videodrome (1983)"First it controls your mind. Then it destroys your body."His eighth film. It stars James Woods, Sonja Smits, and Debbie Harry. Set in Toronto during the early 1980s, it follows the CEO of a small UHF television station who stumbles upon a broadcast signal of snuff films. Layers of deception and mind-control conspiracy unfold as he attempts to uncover the signal's source. Since he was a kid, Cronenberg stayed up at night to pick up American television signals from Buffalo, New York, after Canadian stations had gone off the air, and wondered if they could something not meant to be seen. This was his first film to be financed by a major studio (Universal), and he was given a then career-best $5 million budget. However, Cronenberg and Universal often fought over the film's final cut, as the latter made some edits for fear that the MPAA would give it an X rating. Even with the backing of a major studio, the film bombed with just $2.5 million in North America, with Cronenberg blaming the studio for choosing a wide release instead of selling it as an art film. But the film received very positive reviews from critics, and it has been one of his most analyzed films.
The Dead Zone (1983)"In his mind, he has the power to see the future. In his hands, he has the power to change it."His ninth film. Based on Stephen King's novel, it stars Christopher Walken, Brooke Adams, Tom Skerritt, Herbert Lom, Martin Sheen, Anthony Zerbe, and Colleen Dewhurst, and follows a schoolteacher, Johnny Smith, who awakens from a coma to find he has psychic powers. As King was growing in popularity, the film was a box office success, earning over $20 million domestically. It was also well received.
The Fly (1986)"Be afraid. Be very afraid."His tenth film. Loosely based on George Langelaan's short story and a remake of the 1958 film, it stars Jeff Goldblum, Geena Davis and John Getz. It tells the story of an eccentric scientist who, after one of his experiments goes wrong, slowly turns into a fly-hybrid creature. Fox was interested in a remake of The Fly, but they wanted another studio involved as they had doubts over the script. The producers successfully convinced Mel Brooks in producing the film, and Brooks would leave his name off the film's credits, to avoid confusing viewers who might expect "a Mel Brooks film" to be a comedy. As the original director, Robert Bierman, had to exit due to a personal tragedy, Brooks approached Cronenberg about possibly directing. Cronenberg was busy as the assigned director of Total Recall, but decided to helm The Fly instead. After failing to convince Pierce Brosnan, John Malkovich, Richard Dreyfuss, Michael Keaton and John Lithgow to accept the lead role, Goldblum was chosen as he was was willing to perform with prosthetic makeup. The film's selling point was, obviously, the make-up. The transformation was intended to be a metaphor for the aging process. To that end, Brundle loses hair, teeth and fingernails, with his skin becoming more and more discolored and lumpy. The intention of the filmmakers was to give Brundle a bruised and cancerous look that gets progressively worse as the character's altered genome slowly asserts itself, with the final Brundlefly hybrid creature literally bursting out of Brundle's hideously deteriorated human skin. The creature itself was designed to appear horribly asymmetrical and deformed, and not at all a viable or robust organism. The film was a hit, grossing $60 million worldwide and becoming Cronenberg's highest grossing film. It was critically acclaimed as well, with its make-up receiving the most praise (and winning an Oscar). However, Cronenberg was surprised that people saw it as a cultural metaphor specifically for AIDS, since he originally intended the film to be a more general analogy for disease itself, terminal conditions like cancer and, more specifically, the aging process. A sequel was released three years later, but neither Cronenberg, Goldblum nor Davis were involved and it was poorly received.
Dead Ringers (1988)"Two bodies. Two minds. One soul."His 11th film. It stars Jeremy Irons in a dual role as twin gynecologists who take full advantage of the fact that nobody can tell them apart, until their relationship begins to deteriorate over a woman. While Cronenberg was on a roll, this wasn't a hit, bombing with just $14 million. But the film received acclaim, and Irons' performance(s) was hailed as some of the best in his career.
Naked Lunch (1991)"David Cronenberg and William S. Burroughs invite you to lunch."His 12th film. Based on William S. Burroughs' novel, it stars Peter Weller, Judy Davis, Ian Holm, and Roy Scheider. After developing an addiction to the substance he uses to kill bugs, an exterminator accidentally kills his wife, and becomes involved in a secret government plot being orchestrated by giant bugs in a port town in North Africa. The film cost $16 million, which was his most expensive film by that point. But that didn't pan out to box office success, hitting just $2 million in North America. Critical reception was positive, but not glowing.

Hello all you wonderful humans. I am a cis woman with all the genitalia to go along with that which is important context for this post. Women without a vulva may not be able to help in this situation though I’m not gonna be mad if you want to try. Anyhoo, I have had excruciating pain in my whole pelvic region for about a month. I’m talking tearing, bleeding from those tears, literal raw skin, swelling general discomfort on my vulva. For reference as to how delicate the skin is, I swung a leg out to get up from a table and my clitoral hood tore. My legs were open less than 90 degrees and that motion tore my literal clitoral hood. I finally went for an exam and my doc did a pap, just to get everything tested for from fungal infections to HPV. It was agony. I was in so much pain she had to stop a couple of times and she hadn’t even opened the speculum yet. The exam itself caused bleeding.
Now the only thing that came back positive was HPV. I know HPV is so so common and almost everyone has it and it’s usually harmless and symptomless. However, the strain I have is not the clearly benign one. It’s not obvious cancer but my doc won’t do more testing for 6 months when she’ll repeat the pap. That’s an issue in itself and not really the reason I’m here. How the ever loving fuck do I get my vulva and vagina to take a chill pill so I can go to the bathroom without crying? Here’s what I’m doing and have tried along with how helpful it’s been.
OTC Monistat when I thought it was yeast. Not even remotely helpful but not harmful. Epsom salt baths. Mildly soothing but temporary results. Olive oil to soothe. Somewhat helpful. Lessens the stinging and cracking of skin. Vaseline just as a thicker version of olive oil. Slightly more helpful as a barrier. I have not had sex, shaved, I’ve always worn very comfortable cotton underwear or none at all if I’m at home and don’t need to. Basically I only wear underwear if I’m wearing jeans since I wear shorts under dresses I don’t wear underwear with my shorts.
I have never used soaps or scents anywhere near my vagina. Occasionally I will use my cerave hydrating cleanser on my inner thighs near the vulva but not anywhere near the folds so it doesn’t get inside my vagina. I’m on probiotics and have been for years. In general I baby my vulva and vagina because it’s very sensitive and I have not changed anything in years. My doctor is basically shrugging her shoulders telling me to keep soothing it and stay on pelvic rest. Ice, if need be. I am getting a second opinion but I can’t get in til December.
Please help, I am at my wits end and any feedback will be helpful.

The Prophet said to her: Do not cut severely as that is better for a woman and more desirable for a husband.” The hadith is also stated in a way that says it (the clit) bring brighteness to a women face (pleasure/orgasm) and is desirable for the husband (possibly so he does not need to over exert himself to make his wife orgasm after he already has).
There seems to be a lot of people who agree with this though. May 7th- May 29th:
After having unprotected sex with my ex-boyfriend, a few days later I began having intense burning on my labia minora, along with yeasty discharge. I was on combination birth control and assumed the symptoms were from this, thus I went off of it. Went to urgent care where they diagnosed it as a yeast infection, I was prescribed 3 pills of Diflucian, Clotrimoxole & Betamethasone Dipropionate external vaginal cream. I also took AZO boric acid suppositories for 8 days, which helped discharge become normal again. The cream did work and got rid of the burning until I used a vibrator one day and the symptoms came back even worse the next day this time it was burning my urethra, labia minora, clitoris hood, and clitoris. This time I knew it was something else.
May 30: (I remember once, half a year ago, I had a burning sensation on my labia minora and thought it was chlamydia, which I had before, thus I went to urgent care and asked for doxycycline (100mg 2x a day). After six days of treatment the symptoms were eradicated, I thought the pain was due to rough sex since I was negative for all STIs and STDs. I didn't know what ureaplasma was at the time.)

- After reading the posts here, I grew nervous about only having one week's worth of doxy and decided to go to urgent care where I asked for more. I was given an extra two weeks' worth of doxy after much convincing. I also ordered Kirkman Biofilm Defense, which will be here in a couple of days.
- Talked to a woman who was cured of ureaplasma. She came back positive after 1 round of treatment(idk what the first treatment was), had no symptoms but still was positive. However, after her 2nd round of antibiotics, she was cleared.
- her second round consisted of one dose of azithromycin, ten days of doxycycline, iodine douches, Garden of Life 40 billion CFUs, and also took Kirkman Biofilm Defense while on her treatment in order to reset her gut. Lastly, she suggested to ask my doctor to be swabbed with iodine because "it's the only thing that kills ureaplasma besides antibiotics." However, I will not be doing iodine swabs.
- Discharge is slightly sticky with a small amount of yeast; no foul discharge, no itching, does not burn when peeing. Took fluconazole to get rid of oncoming yeast infection.
- Also, I began doing kegels (hold for 10 sec, until discomfort/clit stinging is gone) whenever I felt my clit start to sting, this has helped get rid of pain.
- took 600mg of ibuprofen to alleviate any swelling on clit. 3 hrs later it had brought pain to a 0/10
- despite pain going away, I will continue to do 2 more weeks of doxy.

JUNE 6: Today was stressful. I stabbing sensation on left side of clit, clit in general is very irritated, pain 4.5/10. Later in the day I had a bad flare up. Vulva has hot sensation after cream was applied, very uncomfortable Losing hope - Slight yeast in discharge, no smell, went to gyno - much stress and anxiety - day 7 doxy
JUNE 7: Flare up from yesterday was mentally tough. Today I had slight burning sensation on labia, although my pubes that are growing back in began to irritate my labia too. Discomfort is at a 2/10, there is no pain just a hot sensation on vulva. When I distracted myself pain went to a 0.2/10. When clitoral hood is lifted, the clit is very irritated when touched - took iron pill - took vitamin C - day 8 doxy
JUNE 8: Woke up with no pain, took doxy, was nauseous for 2 hours. Pain throughout the day: 0/10 - no discharge present - no smelly discharge, no swelling on vulva - When clitoral hood is lifted, exposed hood is slightly irritated when touched - day 9 doxy
JUNE 9: No pain, slight discomfort on labia minora. Discomfort started late at night, 2/10. Discomfort subsided after 30min back to a 0/10. - watery grey discharge with yeast - No smelly discharge - Slight nausea - day 10 doxy
JUNE 10: No pain at all. Woke up very nauseous - no abnormal smell or discharge - day 11 doxy
JUNE 11: No pain nor discomfort in the morning or afternoon. Had a five hour flare up in the evening, just a 3/10 discomfort, burning on labia minora. - discharge slightly watery with yeast present, no abnormal smell. - took boric acid - day 12 doxy
JUNE 12: 3.5/10 discomfort whole day near urethra. - discharge is watery - day 13 doxy - at night I had a yeast infection from antbiotics, so I took fluconazole
JUNE 13: No pain, but 2/10 discomfort near urethra. Went away completely with acetaminophen 500mg. - yeast infection still present, but later it was slowly going away Skipped probiotics, but not biofilm supplement - day 14 doxy
June 14: No pain, but at 4PM I had a 2/10 discomfort near the urethra, went away at 11PM. - took 1,500mg of acetaminophen - discharge is slightly yeast but sticky - skipped probiotics, but not biofilm - day 15 doxy
June 15: No pain or discomfort at all. Symptoms are going away. - skipped probiotic, but not biofilm - day 16 doxy
Will update you tomorrow, and further until the symptoms are clear. Trying not to lose hope, I miss my old life so much
