ABOUT US: We are two chill dudes in our 30s looking for a clean, dependable, and compatible third roommate at our place smack dab in the middle of Central/Powderhorn neighborhood. We are liberal/progressive. We are accepting of all peoples. In so many words, sexist, racist, and anti-LGBTQ MAGA types need not apply.
Around the house we keep it pretty low key, are pretty busy with our own pursuit, try to keep a good work-social life balance, respect each other's space, keep things tidy, and don’t get on each other's nerves. We are not trying to have a huge party space but have the occasional get together here and there.
As you can see from the pictures provided, the available bedroom is spacious, well lit, has wood floors and a big closet. It’s on the main floor, near the kitchen and bathroom. Two of the three units are on the main floor, the third is downstairs. Sadly, our current roommate had a sudden medical/health crisis and has decided he needs to move back to Wisconsin to be with family. Like him, we hope to find a working, reliable, and friendly third person who can provide the same stability and steadiness to our home.
Above and beyond the available room, we have TONS of shared communal space. (Note: living room and dining room are fully furnished and we aren’t really interested in adding any new furniture to those shared spaces.) We have like a second outside home/hangout area in our huge garage, lots of great porch & patio space, a fire pit, plenty of storage space, and— for you garden enthusiasts — we run the vegetable garden and have a greenhouse.
Lease starts August 1st!

I need help from strangers, although in the comments you always seem to have an answer for everything. That you know things I don't know. That you have lived more than me in every way. How is it possible? Well, I need you to explain to me what it is.
I need you to explain to me what is wrong with me. I am an affable, intelligent person and until now, I thought I was physically attractive. I am a bit special in my way of being, so there are people who just don't get along with me. But I can assure you that when people have given me the opportunity and have approached me to get to know me in depth, good friendships have always been forged, although in the end for one reason or another everyone went their own way at some point. When I gain confidence with people, they tend to treasure me (and I treasure them, although as I said, at some point I seem to stop doing so). I feel like, I can be me with my quirks, which at that point in the relationship, I tend to like.
I recently got dumped. I loved her. I wasn't happy but I loved her. It hurt me. I became so focused on the relationship, I lost friends and I lost ambition. Now I have regained my ambition, I am going to take a master's degree that interests me a lot and at the same time I am going to combine it with my career in finance. I feel again ambition and interest in the things I am passionate about, and I like to have recovered that part. But I feel very lonely. For context, I am not living in my hometown, but in the capital of my country for career and work reasons, and that is where the best opportunities are offered.
I have given all this context so that you know a little bit of why I have degraded myself so much to make this post. Because of what I said, and because of something else.
I thought it was attractive. Not something spectacular, but attractive. At 18 I was flirting almost every time I went out to party. In my early 20s I was flirting quite successfully, there have even been a few women who have approached me. In fact, flirting in non-party contexts, I was pretty bad, so I limited myself to actively approaching when I was drunk and partying, and in my day to day life I let them approach me in one way or another: through friends, following me on instagram and initiating conversation, once working in a fashion store they asked for my phone number.... All of this has made me think I'm attractive. I, in the mirror, honestly, see someone attractive.
However, nowadays, for the last few years actually, I seem to be invisible to women.
I notice a lot at the gym. I love gym girls. I always look at them, slyly. But mostly I look at them to see if they look at me. And they almost always ignore me. I've come to understand that they're not always going to approach me, and that I have to be brave and approach them myself. But before I do, I look for even the slightest sign. Something to encourage me to do so. A minimum of signs of interest, of attraction. And I never find it. I seem to be invisible. Sometimes they even move away from me, although I always keep a prudent and respectful distance while we are trainning.I don't understand anything.
Since my ex-girlfriend left me, everything goes wrong. Everything. I am broken.

Seeing the lack of decorations for Sunday’s second bday is making me feel so, so sad for her. I know it’s better than throwing no birthday at all, but even Z’s beige-colored dinosaur party from when he turned around 1-2 had more stuff than S’ party from two days sgo.
I know some people will see this post and think, “Who cares?! She won’t remember this party!” But most of today’s kids are heavily into social and technology, and that means Sunday will possibly notice the differences in ten years or so when she sees the pictures. It’d truly affect her.
This is what drives me crazy from parents who have more than three kids on purpose. They don’t always have the budget for each kid’s birthday party. Most kids are smart and know when their own parents are treating them differently. I feel so bad for the least-appreciated children in these families

Strange personality. (I'm saying she's a hardcore weeb; or the Teyvat equivalent, anyway. If Fischl can be chuuni, why not a weeb?) She really fell in love with the concept of samurai and ninja and would often play at being either one in her free time. Eventually, she got out of Meropide and, for old times' sake, bought a Yae Publishing House light novel; this one happened to be Shogun Almighty: Reborn as Raiden With Unlimited Power... Which happened to be a very telling title, as it happened to contain her vision within its pages. And she immediately used it to try and conjure both a flaming sword and a fiery kunai. Which she succeeded at, somehow. Thanks to that, she changed her name to Kureya, a Japanese pronunciation of Claire, but she writes it with the kanji 暮屋; the former is read Kure and means "sundown", while the latter is read Ya and is regularly used as a suffix for someone who does something (i.e., Baker is Panya, Blacksmith is Kajiya, etc.). Yes, that also means that, in that very weeby way of just smashing cool kanji together, her name could translate to Sundowner. Yes, *that* Sundowner. I'm actually rather proud of how stupidly cheesy, yet thematic, I managed to get her name. With that said, here's the rest of her kit.
Obviously, the star of the show here is her Charged Attack, which functions almost identically to Neuvillette's. The main difference is that it's not a continuous attack; instead, it's more akin to the Lv2 Charged Shot from some Bow users, where you have to hold it for several seconds before releasing it. This is also a large part of why she gets such a massive DMG Bonus from her consumed HP: if you get interrupted or miss, you just wasted all that time.Elemental Skill - Return to Honor Condenses the power of flame into a sleek and slender curved blade, before rapidly drawing it in a wide slice, dealing Pyro DMG to surrounding opponents and entering Blade Mode. In this mode, Kureya's Normal and Charged Attacks, as well as Elemental Skill, change as follows: Normal Attack - Yagyu Swordsmanship (Adapted) Performs up to 4 consecutive sword strikes, dealing Pyro DMG. Charged Attack - Empowered Iai (Adapted) Assumes a sheathed stance and begins charging a powerful draw cut, before unleashing an all-encompassing 360 degree circular slash, dealing AoE Pyro DMG. In this state, Kureya can move and change facing while she projects a blazing barrier of whirling blades to shield her as she prepares. Holding the Skill button will return Kureya to Catalyst Mode and enter the Twilight Hawkeye state. As should be obvious, this is heavily inspired by Childe's Foul Legacy: Raging Tide, but with a few key differences: - It has a fixed duration and fixed CD, so it's easier to play with. - It doesn't deactivate upon swapping characters. - It doesn't disable Plunging Attacks. - It trades the quadratic scaling and regular DMG of Riptide for a single large swipe.Elemental Burst - Bloodshed's End Performs different attacks based on what mode Kureya is in. Catalyst Mode - Bloodflame Familiar Conjures and hurls a giant flaming shurikan that explodes on impact, dealing AoE Pyro DMG and creating a ring of Molten Shuriken that orbit your active character. So long as a Molten Shuriken is in play, when your active character triggers a Pyro-related Elemental Reaction, the opponent shall be stricken with a Bloodflame Rebuke that deals Pyro DMG equal to 80% of Kureya's ATK.
When Kureya cooks an ATK-boosting dish perfectly, she has a 12% chance to receive double the product.
While charging Charged Attack - Empowered Iai (Adapted) after using Come and Get It, surrounding opponents and objects will be pulled towards Kureya.
When Kureya's Normal Attacks hit opponents, her Pyro DMG Bonus is increased by 10% for 4s. This effect can be triggered once every 0.1s. Max 5 stacks.
Return to Honor Talent Level +34th Constellation - Cry Havoc Elemental Reactions triggered by Molten Shuriken will ignore 60% of the opponent's DEF.

I enjoyed the hell out of creating her, despite not liking HP consumption mechanics most of the time, but I really wanted to do several things: a ninja-themed character whose charged attack had an aiming mode, a samurai-themed character that wielded a flaming sword, like Kazuha's splash art, and a character with a different take on coordinated Pyro attacks than Yanxue. Copying Childe's mechanics let me do all three at the same time. As a result, I almost certainly went waaaay overboard when creating her, but I'm more than satisfied with how she turned out, so I'm okay with it (not like tweaking numbers is that hard). |

One thing that I'm not getting here is why Vanessa is even a part of Vanny or Glitchtrap's situation since Double-V is true. I originally thought up Double-V, I was originally thinking that Vanessa and Vanny were sharing the role of "Vanny".
It's just one of them was more willing than the other to be a part of Glitcthtrap's machinations than the other. I didn't put too much thought into it, but it was something I wanted to look for until that Security Team revelation came about.
But now I'm left with this puzzle piece called Vanessa that I'm not quite sure what to do with now that I know that Vanny is an entirely separate person from her.
She has to be involved with Vanny and Gltichtrap somehow. Maybe the therapy tapes will help.
Also, after going through Vanny's secret dialogue in Help Wanted, Vanessa's overall demeanor in both Security Breach and the Retro Cds clashes hard with Vanny's in both games. Where Vanny sounds and reads eager and nervous, Vanessa is defiant and reluctant with depressed undertones.
Is Vanessa really infected with Glitchtrap?
Yet now that I'm thinking about it, Glitchtrap has no need to do this as him sitting through Vanessa's therapy session with her would give him this info if she was infected. Who's ever doing this doesn't much about her, but would very much like to. Is it Vanny or Gregory...
Wait, hold on. Vanessa's first therapist mentioned that messages were encrypted and couldn't make out what the conversation was about. But the second therapist can understand these messages to know that they're manipulative in nature. Are these two different messengers?!
" I’ve read them, but it’s not clear what you’re talking about in these conversations**.** I can’t make sense of it. You must be getting something from these that I’m not getting." - The first Therapist
"but what bothers me about what I read is that the messages you're getting seem very manipulative in nature." - The second Therapist
What changed? Hmm... What exactly is an encrypted conversation? Maybe explaining that will help.
Encrypted text messaging is a method of secure communication that converts your messages into code. This means that only the recipient with the correct decryption key can read it. - Google
That sounds like what the first Therapist is referring to, but she mentions that they got the transcripts for it. Does that mean that got the code or the decryption key to read it? No, she says transcripts, which means the code itself.
But whatever the first Therapist saw in that transcript was legible enough to read and comprehend. This means the conversation wasn't in computer coding that would require someone in the tech field to decipher it, but just ordinary talk that's hard to understand what it's about.
Okay, that clears things up, they're still the same messenger.
Again the "he" here, and the "he will always be watching" part allude to Glitchtrap at first glance. And again, it can't be him because he should be within Vanessa since they merged in Help Wanted! Even if you dismissed the ending I proposed for Vanny and went with the ending where she gets locked up by Glitchtrap, it still wouldn't be him messaging her about watching here because he would be in her body!
And like I already said before, Vanessa has shown no memory problems or bodily control problems, which would've suggested Glitchtrap's control. No, this means that Gregory is doing all of this.
But why is he going after Vanessa? Geez, It's been a while since I even thought about his past before Security Breach. I forgot how much of a black hole of questions he is, regarding the lore. I'll give my updated thoughts about him after the Double-V revelation later.
For now, after going through all of Gregory's dialogue in Security Breach. It looks like he's not quite aware of the ongoings within the Pizzaplex and is shocked by the level of security can employ later in the night. There may actually be a hint of his hacker background in his dialogue if you squint. And Gregory has absolutely no idea what the rabbit laddy's name is until he gets to Fazerblast.
As for Gregory's involvement with Vanessa... Huh, that's weird. Gregory doesn't say Vanessa's name even once in Security Breach. Matter of fact, after the beginning sequence where Vanessa confronts Freddy about him, Gregory just stops talking about or even mentioning her for the rest of the game. This includes the confrontation that leads to her locking him up in Lost and Found and after it...
No matter how you slice it, Gregory's silence about her is super loud with alarm bells. Sure, he dismisses her as working with Vanny in the beginning, but it shouldn't mean that she should be an afterthought to him! Like, Gregory only talks about or mentions "the rabbit lady" after the beginning of the game.
In fact, if we were to rank every important character that Gregory talks about or mentions in his dialogue for Security Breach from most to least, it would look like this.
Even when discovering Vanny's hideout in Fazerblast and Freddy suggests that Vanny is Vanessa due to deduceing Vanny's name being a combination of Vanessa + Bunny, Gregory remains silent about it! No, "Oh maybe you're right." or "That sounds too simple to be right", but instead there's no response to what might be the identity of your pursuer!
It's like he doesn't want to talk about her...
He knows her, he has to know Vanessa! Yet, he said, "I don't know who she is, but she's trying to get me!" to Freddy. Is he lying? No, he just knows about her.
I'll admit that I'm ignorant about therapy, but should your therapist have access to stuff you created outside of therapy? Unless Gregory created the program on a computer in therapy. It could explain how he's gotten access to Vanessa's files. But I'll drop that talk for now.
Something that's being made clear to me now is that Vanessa is not as connected to the villains as Gregory is, as she's more surprised by the changing of therapist than he is. In fact, Gregory knows why the therapists are disappearing, knows exactly when the therapists do something that would cause them to disappear, and doesn't seem upset when they show up mangled and dead.
But more than anything, Gregory knew Vanny long before Security Breach started. There's no reason why Gregory would know Vanny has enough control over the Pizzaplex to cut off Freddy from the network, in just one encounter. If anything, he should have assumed she was some weirdo stranger in the Pizzaplex that the security and the police needed to take care of.
But he already knew that Vanny had power in the Pizzaplex, maybe not the full scope, but enough to know that if she and he ever came into conflict with one another that ended with her wanting to hurt him then he needed to get out of the Pizzaplex.
Funnily enough, this actually lines up with the first-ever trailer for Security Breach, where Vanny says: "Gregory, I may have lost my temper earlier. But it was just a glitch!" Which implies they talking neutrally before whatever made Vanny lose her temper." Again, I'm not using this as evidence as it's been cut, instead, I'm suggesting that the idea might have merit.
But what about Vanessa? Is Gregory hacking into her files or is it Vanny and Glitchtrap? Or perhaps Gregory is hacking into her files on behalf of Glitchtrap and Vanny. Either way, Vanessa is getting dragged into Gregory and the Villian's group chat.
Speaking of the therapy, if we take into account the Retro-CD's numbering system the first two numbers are the patient ID number, and the last two numbers are the number of times both Gregory and Vanessa have been to therapy, then we can uncover some invaluable information.
Gregory has been in therapy longer than Vanessa and he was also in therapy before her too. But combining this CD's numbering system with a theory from the Talesbook story, GGY, that Gregory only goes to therapy on Sunday. Then Gregory has been going to therapy for a year and a half.
And if Vanessa is following the weekly therapy session pattern, then she's only been going to it for a little more than half a year. This means she started her therapy just about after Gregory hit his half-year mark for therapy. In addition to all that, Vanessa stopped going to therapy once she was transferred to a new location and never met the fourth and final therapist of the CDs.
Just something you all should keep in mind.
But Gregory definitely knows about her at the very least. That knowledge, I guess, is the reason why he's so shocked to see her face under Vanny's mask in the "To The Rooftop" ending. He knows that Vanessa and Vanny are two different people, but doesn't know that they look alike because he never encountered Vanny before Security Breach without her mask or costume.
On the subject of costumes, I still got no answer for Vanessa's purchase of fake animal fur or what's even happening with her now.
To be honest, this would be so simple and easy if Vanessa was just Vanny. But like as I have shown many times before in both this series and the previous one, simple and easy answers are not always the correct ones.
So, instead of looking for signs of the villain's goal with Vanessa in the lore. Let's look at the similarities and differences between the double Vs.
Vanessa's characteristics are.
Anyway, as you can see, there are some very similar likes between the two and very stark differences in traits as well. I'm not about to list them to save word space, but instead, I want to answer a question. Could Vanessa still be Vanny despite their differences? This isn't so much for me, but for the people who believe Vanny = Vanessa despite my Double-V evidence.
At first, I thought there might've been a chance for that as they both like flowers, to read, and enjoy the outside, or at least the summer in Vanny's case. But now, after listing everything out they're just too different to say they're the same.
Even if we say that Vanny's love of pizza, general bad diet, and trashy room is the result of Vanessa coping with her depression and her situation with Glitchtrap and that her graffiti is the by-product of therapy, along with her interest in growing flowers. That doesn't negate the fact that in Ruin when given the chance to express her anxiety, Vanny doesn't take it.
If you don't know, on the wall where Vanny drew her face next to a slice of pizza in the main lobby near the Superstar Daycare entrance, there is a painted graph. The artist who made the graph also wrote on the right side of it; "TAG YOURSELF".
On all four sides of the graph, the artist made the furthest sides of them represent something. The top Y-axis is Wizard, the bottom Y-axis is Cedar the left X-axis is Filled with a word that ends in a y, and the right X-axis is Filled with anxiety.
What this graph is showing, or what the artist trying to convey with it, is that each of the four points represents not quite the opposite thing but the furthest thing from each other. Of which, Vanny decided to tag herself on the furthest left X-axis, not the right.
This tells us that Vanny feels the furthest thing from anxiety. Something Vanessa, no matter if she's under Glitchtrap's control or not, would be constantly feeling as she suffers from it.
As for what she's feeling, I don't know, the word on the left graph is unreadable and covered by Vanny's face to make it almost impossible to decipher. But what I do know without a doubt, is that Vanny and Vanessa are indeed, two different people with some common likes and polar opposite traits.
So after everything I've talked about in the last three? four? However many parts I've been going over Double-V, what is the best possible answer for the "To The Rooftop" ending stinger. Why do Vanny and Vanessa look alike?
I tried, I really did. I looked for as much possible evidence for anything that doesn't just make me give up and say "She's a Fazgoo clone!" or "She's a robot!"
If Vanny was a stranger who mimicked Vanessa's face, then that's cool and horrifying, but only where it concerns Vanessa herself. (The horrifying part, not the cool part.) It doesn't give us reasons why she would do it in the first place or a way to connect it to the greater lore and Glitchtrap, besides she's a human Mimic. Basically, it lacks motivation from everyone in the Villian party.
So it leaves me with no other conclusion except for one.
Back when the marketing for Security Breach was building up to its release. Steel Wool released four old Freddy cartoon episodes on their YouTube channel. Each episode hides a teaser image for the lore, including a character from the games with words, along with a character stinger at the end.
The last carton, which is the most distorted one, just so happened to include Vanessa as the hidden teaser, and Vanny as the character stinger at the end. And before you all jump the gun, previous episodes have already established that the hidden character teasers have no correlation to the ending Character stinger.
Now, the words in the Vanessa teaser image are quite interesting. It includes "Test and Rat" in the upper right corner, "Pool" in the bottom left corner, and "Bleak Reactant".
Test and Rat could be Test rat or Laboratory rat (Lab rat) as in the species of rat that are bred and kept for scientific research. Lab rat here can also be referring to Vanessa being a lab rat for the villain's experiment for something.
Using that explanation, "Pool" would then mean group or pool of people, which means number of people available for an organization or group to use. So Pool would mean that Vanessa was chosen out of all the Fazbear employees or people in general to be used for the experiment.
This leaves us with Bleak Reactant, which the definition of reactant is a substance that takes part in and experiences change during a reaction, while the definition of bleak could mean lacking vegetation (an area of land), dreary (a room), miserable(the weather), or unfavorable (outcome.)
All of this together means that Vanessa was chosen by the villains out of a group of people to be used for an experiment. An experiment of a change in Vanessa that predicted an unfavorable outcome for the villains.
Vanessa was going to be the next Vanny or maybe something else.
That gives a reason why the villains were so interested in her, why she would be shopping for a costume, why she would be at the Pizzaplex, and why she would be still connected to the villains when someone else is Vanny.
But the reason she was chosen in the first place, why her out of a group of people that might've included Gregory in it too, is because the one who chose her was her own twin sister.
If anyone remembers my only Ruin theory then you would remember my mentioning of Glitchtrap's and Vanny's conversation from Scott's website from a Security Breach poster.
Glitchtrap: "Stay the course."
Vanny: "I will."
Glitchtrap: "Focus on my voice."
Vanny: "I will."
Glitchtrap: "Don't let anyone lead you astray."
Vanny: “I won't.”
Glitchtrap: "Have you selected one?"
Vanny: "I have."
In my theory, I proposed that Gregory was the one that Vanny mentioned selecting here. But now, with all the revelations and new information gained, I believe Vanessa works better here. Vanny would've chosen someone for an experiment that she personally knew of or gotten to know, and who better than her own sibling that she grew up with.
Remember, Vanny is just starting out in her following of Glitchtrap. So would be new to the whole evil thing. And most of the time, the people close to you are the ones that would most likely commit a crime against you.
As for the twin sister thing, it actually didn't come from the "To The Rooftop" ending, but a discussion from the GTlive stream where Mat hosted a little get-together with some of the FNAF YouTuber theorists after Security Breach. There, John Fuhnaff suggested the idea for it from the VR Sisters boss from the Security Breach game Scott made when Security Breach got delayed again.
It's something that I saw some merit in after I discovered the Vanny ≠ Vanessa and after disproving in my head that Vanny wasn't Tape Girl either. The best part of the twin sister thing is that there's no need to throw out all that we know from Vanessa's therapy sessions as they both share the divorced parent's backstory.
As for which is the order twin between the two, I believe Vanessa is the oldest since it makes sense that her father would use the oldest to testify against their mother as she would better understand his instructions. Plus it provides a potential grudge from Vanny to Vanessa for what happened to their mother and a misguided parental affection for Glitchtrap. Unless Vanny's just a fangirl of William Afton, which could be the case.
Also, this means that the reason Vanessa looks the way she does in "To The Rooftop" end credits is because she looking at her dead sister. Oof, I realized that this also means she would've been the one who finds what's left of her in the "Disassemble Vanny" ending too. No wonder Faz Ent. is temporarily closed if they find that one employee is disassembled and the other one is having a mental breakdown from it in the morning.
But what about the "Redemption" ending? We know that by beating PQ3 both Glitchtrap and Vanny are defeated in it. What happens to her then? Where did she go? Hmm... I'm not sure.
What happens when someone is unmerged after being merged for a long time? Unlike Vanessa, we know that Vanny lives in the Pizzaplex. Even by Ruin and Help Wanted 2, she's still living in the building despite its condition so she probably needs time to think and process what happened to her and what's she done. Oh, and therapy. And a house.
But I think that just about wraps everything up for— Wait, HW2's Candy Cadet story! I forgot all about it! I know some people mentioned that the second story had to do with Vanessa, Gregory, and Gltichtrap. Let me skim through that real quick for clues.
Oh. Oh, that's really interesting... But it along with the Jeremy and the Memory dolls can wait until after next time. Sorry for the little to no pictures, I needed space to fit everything in one post and wanted to get everything about Double-V out of the way before I go on hiatus.

- CD 11-Therapist: No, that's not what I mean. You can't just ignore an issue. You have to face your memory of the experiences and process them so you can let it go. So you don't get triggered anymore. you can use this sort of self-dialogue to release these things
- CD 11-Vanessa: I don't like doing that.
Again the "he" here, and the "he will always be watching" part allude to Glitchtrap at first glance. And again, it can't be him because he should be within Vanessa since they merged in Help Wanted! Even if you dismissed the ending I proposed for Vanny and went with the ending where she gets locked up by Glitchtrap, it still wouldn't be him messaging her about watching here because he would be in her body!
And like I already said before, Vanessa has shown no memory problems or bodily control problems, which would've suggested Glitchtrap's control. No, this means that Gregory is doing all of this.
But why is he going after Vanessa? Geez, It's been a while since I even thought about his past before Security Breach. I forgot how much of a black hole of questions he is, regarding the lore. I'll give my updated thoughts about him after the Double-V revelation later.
For now, after going through all of Gregory's dialogue in Security Breach. It looks like he's not quite aware of the ongoings within the Pizzaplex and is shocked by the level of security can employ later in the night. There may actually be a hint of his hacker background in his dialogue if you squint. And Gregory has absolutely no idea what the rabbit laddy's name is until he gets to Fazerblast.
As for Gregory's involvement with Vanessa... Huh, that's weird. Gregory doesn't say Vanessa's name even once in Security Breach. Matter of fact, after the beginning sequence where Vanessa confronts Freddy about him, Gregory just stops talking about or even mentioning her for the rest of the game. This includes the confrontation that leads to her locking him up in Lost and Found and after it...
No matter how you slice it, Gregory's silence about her is super loud with alarm bells. Sure, he dismisses her as working with Vanny in the beginning, but it shouldn't mean that she should be an afterthought to him! Like, Gregory only talks about or mentions "the rabbit lady" after the beginning of the game.
In fact, if we were to rank every important character that Gregory talks about or mentions in his dialogue for Security Breach from most to least, it would look like this.
- Freddy - 33 times
- Vanny - 6 times
- Chica - 6 times
- Roxy - 4 times
- Monty - 3 times
- Moon - 3 times
- Vanessa - 3 times
- Burntrap - 1 time
Even when discovering Vanny's hideout in Fazerblast and Freddy suggests that Vanny is Vanessa due to deduceing Vanny's name being a combination of Vanessa + Bunny, Gregory remains silent about it! No, "Oh maybe you're right." or "That sounds too simple to be right", but instead there's no response to what might be the identity of your pursuer!
It's like he doesn't want to talk about her...
He knows her, he has to know Vanessa! Yet, he said, "I don't know who she is, but she's trying to get me!" to Freddy. Is he lying? No, he just knows about her.
- CD 14-Therapist: —They report that they've caught you on camera, or at least it appears to be you. — Well the techs are convinced that you've hacked into their system many times. — the electronics you like? I saw in your file that you have developed software programs that talk to you and repeat phrases, right? The program asks you questions and prompts you for responses. It's kind of like your own self therapy, isn't it? Another way of talking to yourself to work things out, right? When I saw some of your recent encrypted conversation logs, that's what I thought I was looking at. It felt like I was watching someone go back and forth in their own head, but the text found something that's different than that. When I read what they found, at first I thought I was looking at more examples of you just talking with yourself. Then I realized it was different. When I study this, it sounds like there is someone else responding to you. Who is it?
I'll admit that I'm ignorant about therapy, but should your therapist have access to stuff you created outside of therapy? Unless Gregory created the program on a computer in therapy. It could explain how he's gotten access to Vanessa's files. But I'll drop that talk for now.
Something that's being made clear to me now is that Vanessa is not as connected to the villains as Gregory is, as she's more surprised by the changing of therapist than he is. In fact, Gregory knows why the therapists are disappearing, knows exactly when the therapists do something that would cause them to disappear, and doesn't seem upset when they show up mangled and dead.
But more than anything, Gregory knew Vanny long before Security Breach started. There's no reason why Gregory would know Vanny has enough control over the Pizzaplex to cut off Freddy from the network, in just one encounter. If anything, he should have assumed she was some weirdo stranger in the Pizzaplex that the security and the police needed to take care of.
But he already knew that Vanny had power in the Pizzaplex, maybe not the full scope, but enough to know that if she and he ever came into conflict with one another that ended with her wanting to hurt him then he needed to get out of the Pizzaplex.
Funnily enough, this actually lines up with the first-ever trailer for Security Breach, where Vanny says: "Gregory, I may have lost my temper earlier. But it was just a glitch!" Which implies they talking neutrally before whatever made Vanny lose her temper." Again, I'm not using this as evidence as it's been cut, instead, I'm suggesting that the idea might have merit.
- CD-Therapist: — I have this still shot the techs pulled from the security footage that recorded you in the pizzaplex. That's you, isn't it? I know this image is distorted but I think it looks like you. And you're not alone here. You're talking to someone, or something. it's hard to tell. What are those things? They almost look like rabbit ears. What? You find that amusing? Well I guess it is.
But what about Vanessa? Is Gregory hacking into her files or is it Vanny and Glitchtrap? Or perhaps Gregory is hacking into her files on behalf of Glitchtrap and Vanny. Either way, Vanessa is getting dragged into Gregory and the Villian's group chat.
Speaking of the therapy, if we take into account the Retro-CD's numbering system the first two numbers are the patient ID number, and the last two numbers are the number of times both Gregory and Vanessa have been to therapy, then we can uncover some invaluable information.
Gregory has been in therapy longer than Vanessa and he was also in therapy before her too. But combining this CD's numbering system with a theory from the Talesbook story, GGY, that Gregory only goes to therapy on Sunday. Then Gregory has been going to therapy for a year and a half.
And if Vanessa is following the weekly therapy session pattern, then she's only been going to it for a little more than half a year. This means she started her therapy just about after Gregory hit his half-year mark for therapy. In addition to all that, Vanessa stopped going to therapy once she was transferred to a new location and never met the fourth and final therapist of the CDs.
Just something you all should keep in mind.
But Gregory definitely knows about her at the very least. That knowledge, I guess, is the reason why he's so shocked to see her face under Vanny's mask in the "To The Rooftop" ending. He knows that Vanessa and Vanny are two different people, but doesn't know that they look alike because he never encountered Vanny before Security Breach without her mask or costume.
On the subject of costumes, I still got no answer for Vanessa's purchase of fake animal fur or what's even happening with her now.
To be honest, this would be so simple and easy if Vanessa was just Vanny. But like as I have shown many times before in both this series and the previous one, simple and easy answers are not always the correct ones.
So, instead of looking for signs of the villain's goal with Vanessa in the lore. Let's look at the similarities and differences between the double Vs.
Vanessa's characteristics are.
- Depressed
- Has anxiety issues
- Tired (It's something that has been mentioned by the first and third therapists in CD-1 and CD-10. But seems to have more to do with the messages she's getting than how she usually is.)
- Likes the blue sky
- Likes to sit outside and read
- Watchful about her calorie intake
- Likes flowers or at least the sweet smell of them
- Doesn't like dark basements
- Oh, and hates kids
- Loves Pizza, especially pepperoni (Huh, no wonder she likes Chica)
- Absolutely, does not care about her calorie intake or a healthy diet (Seriously, Girl has gone full gamer mode with the amount of Fizzy Faz, straw drinks, and pizza boxes in areas with her presence in them)
- Hobbies in painting or graffiti
- Likes or used to like Glitchtrap or maybe William Afton (I talk about this in the secret ending)
- Loves Fazbear Entertainment (Vanny uses red spray paint in Ruin and has drawn two hearts on the FAZ ENT. Logo in the main Lobby)
- Likes Toy Chica
- Likes the Daycare Attendant (She seems to be fond of Moon more)
- Likes to read, or at least, read about the World History of Fazbear Entertainment
- Likes Flowers, a specific species of them(that I can't determine right now)
- Likes summer
- Is a mechanic or roboticist or both (She making something in Ruin Fazerblast and has turned Ruin Monty into her lapdog among other things)
- Super lazy (This one may or may not be true, but unless there's a good reason why she refuses to clean up her room in Fazer Blast, this is staying right here as far as I'm concerned)
Anyway, as you can see, there are some very similar likes between the two and very stark differences in traits as well. I'm not about to list them to save word space, but instead, I want to answer a question. Could Vanessa still be Vanny despite their differences? This isn't so much for me, but for the people who believe Vanny = Vanessa despite my Double-V evidence.
At first, I thought there might've been a chance for that as they both like flowers, to read, and enjoy the outside, or at least the summer in Vanny's case. But now, after listing everything out they're just too different to say they're the same.
Even if we say that Vanny's love of pizza, general bad diet, and trashy room is the result of Vanessa coping with her depression and her situation with Glitchtrap and that her graffiti is the by-product of therapy, along with her interest in growing flowers. That doesn't negate the fact that in Ruin when given the chance to express her anxiety, Vanny doesn't take it.
If you don't know, on the wall where Vanny drew her face next to a slice of pizza in the main lobby near the Superstar Daycare entrance, there is a painted graph. The artist who made the graph also wrote on the right side of it; "TAG YOURSELF".
On all four sides of the graph, the artist made the furthest sides of them represent something. The top Y-axis is Wizard, the bottom Y-axis is Cedar the left X-axis is Filled with a word that ends in a y, and the right X-axis is Filled with anxiety.
What this graph is showing, or what the artist trying to convey with it, is that each of the four points represents not quite the opposite thing but the furthest thing from each other. Of which, Vanny decided to tag herself on the furthest left X-axis, not the right.
This tells us that Vanny feels the furthest thing from anxiety. Something Vanessa, no matter if she's under Glitchtrap's control or not, would be constantly feeling as she suffers from it.
As for what she's feeling, I don't know, the word on the left graph is unreadable and covered by Vanny's face to make it almost impossible to decipher. But what I do know without a doubt, is that Vanny and Vanessa are indeed, two different people with some common likes and polar opposite traits.
So after everything I've talked about in the last three? four? However many parts I've been going over Double-V, what is the best possible answer for the "To The Rooftop" ending stinger. Why do Vanny and Vanessa look alike?
I tried, I really did. I looked for as much possible evidence for anything that doesn't just make me give up and say "She's a Fazgoo clone!" or "She's a robot!"
If Vanny was a stranger who mimicked Vanessa's face, then that's cool and horrifying, but only where it concerns Vanessa herself. (The horrifying part, not the cool part.) It doesn't give us reasons why she would do it in the first place or a way to connect it to the greater lore and Glitchtrap, besides she's a human Mimic. Basically, it lacks motivation from everyone in the Villian party.
So it leaves me with no other conclusion except for one.
Back when the marketing for Security Breach was building up to its release. Steel Wool released four old Freddy cartoon episodes on their YouTube channel. Each episode hides a teaser image for the lore, including a character from the games with words, along with a character stinger at the end.
The last carton, which is the most distorted one, just so happened to include Vanessa as the hidden teaser, and Vanny as the character stinger at the end. And before you all jump the gun, previous episodes have already established that the hidden character teasers have no correlation to the ending Character stinger.
Now, the words in the Vanessa teaser image are quite interesting. It includes "Test and Rat" in the upper right corner, "Pool" in the bottom left corner, and "Bleak Reactant".
Test and Rat could be Test rat or Laboratory rat (Lab rat) as in the species of rat that are bred and kept for scientific research. Lab rat here can also be referring to Vanessa being a lab rat for the villain's experiment for something.
Using that explanation, "Pool" would then mean group or pool of people, which means number of people available for an organization or group to use. So Pool would mean that Vanessa was chosen out of all the Fazbear employees or people in general to be used for the experiment.
This leaves us with Bleak Reactant, which the definition of reactant is a substance that takes part in and experiences change during a reaction, while the definition of bleak could mean lacking vegetation (an area of land), dreary (a room), miserable(the weather), or unfavorable (outcome.)
All of this together means that Vanessa was chosen by the villains out of a group of people to be used for an experiment. An experiment of a change in Vanessa that predicted an unfavorable outcome for the villains.
Vanessa was going to be the next Vanny or maybe something else.
That gives a reason why the villains were so interested in her, why she would be shopping for a costume, why she would be at the Pizzaplex, and why she would be still connected to the villains when someone else is Vanny.
But the reason she was chosen in the first place, why her out of a group of people that might've included Gregory in it too, is because the one who chose her was her own twin sister.
If anyone remembers my only Ruin theory then you would remember my mentioning of Glitchtrap's and Vanny's conversation from Scott's website from a Security Breach poster.
Glitchtrap: "Stay the course."
Vanny: "I will."
Glitchtrap: "Focus on my voice."
Vanny: "I will."
Glitchtrap: "Don't let anyone lead you astray."
Vanny: “I won't.”
Glitchtrap: "Have you selected one?"
Vanny: "I have."
In my theory, I proposed that Gregory was the one that Vanny mentioned selecting here. But now, with all the revelations and new information gained, I believe Vanessa works better here. Vanny would've chosen someone for an experiment that she personally knew of or gotten to know, and who better than her own sibling that she grew up with.
Remember, Vanny is just starting out in her following of Glitchtrap. So would be new to the whole evil thing. And most of the time, the people close to you are the ones that would most likely commit a crime against you.
As for the twin sister thing, it actually didn't come from the "To The Rooftop" ending, but a discussion from the GTlive stream where Mat hosted a little get-together with some of the FNAF YouTuber theorists after Security Breach. There, John Fuhnaff suggested the idea for it from the VR Sisters boss from the Security Breach game Scott made when Security Breach got delayed again.
It's something that I saw some merit in after I discovered the Vanny ≠ Vanessa and after disproving in my head that Vanny wasn't Tape Girl either. The best part of the twin sister thing is that there's no need to throw out all that we know from Vanessa's therapy sessions as they both share the divorced parent's backstory.
As for which is the order twin between the two, I believe Vanessa is the oldest since it makes sense that her father would use the oldest to testify against their mother as she would better understand his instructions. Plus it provides a potential grudge from Vanny to Vanessa for what happened to their mother and a misguided parental affection for Glitchtrap. Unless Vanny's just a fangirl of William Afton, which could be the case.
Also, this means that the reason Vanessa looks the way she does in "To The Rooftop" end credits is because she looking at her dead sister. Oof, I realized that this also means she would've been the one who finds what's left of her in the "Disassemble Vanny" ending too. No wonder Faz Ent. is temporarily closed if they find that one employee is disassembled and the other one is having a mental breakdown from it in the morning.
But what about the "Redemption" ending? We know that by beating PQ3 both Glitchtrap and Vanny are defeated in it. What happens to her then? Where did she go? Hmm... I'm not sure.
What happens when someone is unmerged after being merged for a long time? Unlike Vanessa, we know that Vanny lives in the Pizzaplex. Even by Ruin and Help Wanted 2, she's still living in the building despite its condition so she probably needs time to think and process what happened to her and what's she done. Oh, and therapy. And a house.
But I think that just about wraps everything up for— Wait, HW2's Candy Cadet story! I forgot all about it! I know some people mentioned that the second story had to do with Vanessa, Gregory, and Gltichtrap. Let me skim through that real quick for clues.
Oh. Oh, that's really interesting... But it along with the Jeremy and the Memory dolls can wait until after next time. Sorry for the little to no pictures, I needed space to fit everything in one post and wanted to get everything about Double-V out of the way before I go on hiatus.
Don't worry it has nothing to do with burnout. It won't be too long either, though knowing my track record when saying that, you probably don't believe me.

My sister has three kids, all from different dads. Complicated story I will not go into and don’t need any judgment on my sisters life choices. All three kids are close in age, 6f, 5f, 3m. Now the two daughters dad are not in the picture and the kids have no knowledge of them. Let’s just say they aren’t the best of people, so bad my sister had to leave the state. She moved down near me and shortly after, met a guy at work, they soon got pregnant and moved in together. They lived together for four Apartment leases, so 4 years. All kids call him dad and know him as dad.
Him and my sisters relationship was not so good and they broke up but still lived together the last year because of inflation. Well once the lease ended they both went to their own apartments and co parenting was rocky. For the first few month they spit time equally and all three kids knew the schedule. Then the ex started hanging out more with his work friends and wouldn’t take kids on his days. On days that weren’t his he would say he missed his son and only toke him. They girls didn’t mind because they liked having girl time with mommy. Soon it got to every time they fought he would use the girls against my sister saying he wouldn’t be in girls life anymore. Next day he would take it back and my sister so desperately wanted the girls to have him that she would take it.
Two things happen that made her realize that it was better not for the guy to be in the girls life. (There was many of red flags that she looked passed before so those were also a factor)
1- the 5f s birthday was coming up and she planed a party for a Saturday because the ex doesn’t work that day. She let him know a head of time. It’s the week or so before and she brings up the time and where it will be to him but he said he forgot and already made plans with his friends that he already paid for it and can’t cancel. That conversation did not go well and my sister was not happy.
2- A few days after that birthday conversation she over heard a phone call he was on. It was the exs day with the kids and my sister forgot to send one of the kids meds with him. She texted him with no response and drove over there to give the meds. Well through the door she could hear him bitching about her in front of the kids who were playing in the living room right next to him and he brought up the two girls fathers while the kids were in the same room. When she knocked on the door to give kid meds she was not happy. She took all three kids.
That was the moment she knew it was for the best he shouldnt be in the girls life because clearly he didn’t want to. (Some more things he said in the phone call) He was already showing favoritism towards the boy and the girls were starting to pick up.
The second week just happened and the girls don’t understand why only their brother gos to dads. The girls are upset and so was the son who wanted his sisters to come. It’s been hard but my sister hasn’t told the kids because the birthday and she didn’t want to ruin it. Well she plans on telling them this week when the boy is at dads and she just has the girls.
How do you tell a 6 and 5 year old that the man they called dad is only gonna be a dad to their brother?
My sister wants me there for moral support and I just need some help because this is a hard conversation and I want to make sure I help her in any way possible and give her some suggestions on how to go about this conversation.

This weekend, I was busy cooking a historical wedding feast for the sister of a good friend in South Germany, which involved as good deal of preparation and some pretty crazy travel arrangements. Make it as a dough for hares’ ears (hasen nerla) that is well rolled out, Cut off a piece and roll it out lengthwise about as long as a spindle and make it (cut it) so that it resembles an antler with its points. Then let it fry nicely and properly in fat. When you want to serve it, you should always set two and two opposed to each other in the bowl and sprinkle them with sugar. This is basically a ‘short’ cookie, though the fat is introduced by frying instead of being added to the dough. This is familiar from other recipes, among others the common manner of making pastries in greased pans. In one recipe from Northern Germany, we also find a sheet of such dough spread with butter before baking. These are ancestory to the plethora of German Plätzchen and Kekse of today, and a parallel recipe from 1598 refers to a variety of shapes beyond the antler. These antlers must have been pleasant – sweet, rich, warm, elegant. Arranged in pairs to look like a set of antlers laid out after the hunt, they must also have looked the part on a well-set banqueting table. Not sure if this is the appropriate place to post but I’m trying to figure out food for my daughter’s first birthday.
We had the theme picked out as “1st Fiesta” and originally were going to do tacos of course. But man the cost to cater a party is so crazy! Of course there’s going to be like 25-30 adults. My wife has a larger family who all “expect”/want to come. So then I got to thinking okay fine the park as bbq pits we will just bbq chicken. And have our own taco bar not catered. Well the wife says chicken is so hard to cook and now wants hot dogs and hamburgers. I don’t really wanna do that since the theme is fiesta and I already made the taco bar decorations.
I guess I’m just needing to vent. I didn’t think planning a babies birthday party would be so stressful.

Disclaimer: this is my first time posting ever and since reddit is somewhat helpful to people sometimes, I might as well give it a shot. Also sorry if this is lengthy but it’s also slightly a rant at this point.
I(F) had a friend, let’s call him X, since 2019. We’ve met through facebook through a mutual love for an anime show. He’s a shitposter that got my attention since he loves to talk about the anime at that time and his humor clicks well with mine. We’ve only ever had facebook interactions and the last chat we’ve had was years ago minus the small talks from story reacts. A little bit of info abt me: I got groomed when I was 16 and it fucked me up knowing I wasnt the only victim as there were at least 5 other teenagers(some younger than I) whom my ex cheated with and I make it known to everyone in my circles my passionate hate for cheaters.
X has a spontaneous personality and came from a well-off, but complicated family. His online persona and pictures were my only way of knowing him as his real account is unknown to at least a good portion of his friends on that account, if not all. He’s known by many names at this point so if you ask why I never bothered asking for his name, I’d say we’re the type to share shits and giggles with in online platforms but never really formed a bond or trust towards one another and I preferred it that way. He also liked partying and travelling that his account turned from anime related contents to his dump account where he posts pictures of his travels so I know where he’s been and all that. He has a boyfriend of a few months and it was seemingly going smooth and after all these years, I thought he finally found the love of his life and I was so happy everytime he shares their cute moments.
Now, about earlier this year, he went to bars and clubs in another country and got piss-drunk(which he occasionally does), there he started flirting with a stranger. He posted about his cheating on that account about a month or two later and shared the details where his main excuse was getting drunk and the details I got was all from what he posted. I’m nosy yes, but I’m worried he never actually told his bf about it. I actually tried to find him and tell on his boyfriend because people deserve to know they’ve been cheated on but his real identity is hard to find especially when I dont even know his name. I look up his name through Facebook but his account is locked and he still has an “In a relationship” status on his profile.
So how do I cope with this? Yes my instinct and guts tell me to keep trying to look him or his boyfriend up but I tried multiple times but failed.

Invited many of the kids from our little ones daycare so it’s a first time meeting most of the parents. The following exchange happens and still bewilders me when I think about it.
In walks Entitle Parents (EP) alongside others arriving. Goes like this:
EP: Where can we put his bag in case you need anything?
Me: (confused by the question) feel free to keep it at any table you choose to sit.
EP: O we’re just dropping off our little one. Will be back to pick him up after the party is done (2 hours).
(I explain we cannot support watching their child and hosting said party, nobody can be responsible for doing so. They will need to stay.)

Me: That will not be happening, once again, we are busy hosting and watching our kid. You need to stay with your child.

So full disclosure here, we are only 3 sessions into the campaign. The party has just hit level 3, and are about to hit their first "stepping off" point so now would be a great time for new people to join. We have 3 lovely players but had 2 players drop out: one due to IRL issues, and the second due to lack of chemistry with the party.
We will be using Discord for voice and Foundry as our VTT. We'll be running the game on Tuesdays from 6 to 10 PM US Eastern.
I love helping create positive experiences for everyone at the table. I value good chemistry, common courtesy, and social awareness. I put a lot of work into my games and I would hope my players reciprocate that effort by learning their characters, respecting everyone else's time, taking notes, and building their fellow players up (the DM included). I'm a big nerd and I'm super passionate about storytelling and world-building. I'm currently running another campaign on Thursdays but there are too many great stories to tell with only just one group, so I'm looking for more people to bring into the fold.
My favorite works are The Lord of the Rings, the Witcher books, the Dark Souls series (really most stuff made by Hidetaka Miyazaki), Baldur's Gate 3, as well as Fallout 1 and 2, and Fallout: New Vegas. I'm a big fan of more gritty, down-to-earth fantasy and other settings. There are two kinds of Skyrim players: players who mod infinite carry weight because they just wanna run around and blow things up, and players who mod lower carry weight because they want a grittier experience. I am the second kind. So if you're looking for someone who's more into anime or stuff like Avatar the Last Airbender, we might have some creative differences! That doesn't have to be a deal breaker, but I want you to know what to expect. That being said, I also love over-the-top nonsensical stuff that doesn't take itself too seriously. I love works like Army of Darkness, DOOM, Emperor's New Groove.
Outside the box, I'm a midwesterner, a veteran, politically lean mostly left, and I love history. I love Greek and Norse mythology. My music taste reflects my midwestern emo angst, and I've been listening to bands like Say Anything and Taking Back Sunday for the last 15 years.

A "mostly serious" experience where there are heavy themes and tones with frequent light-hearted moments in between. This is an adventure featuring things like slavery and body horror so if you have a light stomach, this might not be the game for you. There will be occasional gore, and potentially adult themes, although any explicit sexual scenes won't be depicted or described. Additionally, sexual violence could be referenced or alluded to, but will never be explicitly depicted. You can trust I'm not here trying to intentionally make anyone uncomfortable but I'm also not interesting in censoring the story because you didn't know what you signed up for. If you've ever read something like the Witcher or played Dark Souls and were okay with what you saw, you'll be fine here.
Lastly, while I am very strict about how I want to build the world and its aesthetics, I also want to the party play their own roles in it. There are neither cutscenes nor railroads here. I'll be picky about using character art that matches everyone else's, but the town of Phandalin is your oyster to build up or break down how the party sees fit.
So if you don't like 99% RAW, slightly grittier fantasy, or the risks associated with answering the call to adventure, this might not be the campaign for you.
But all that being said, this is still a game, and the point is to tell a fun, collaborative story while killing monsters in caves and graverobbing for magical treasure.

- A basic understanding of the rules. Look I'm not asking you to know how long it takes to don/doff medium armor or how long you can hold your breath, but you should know how bonus actions work and what a grapple check is.
- Medium-term commitment. Assuming we get along, the goal is to play this campaign for the next few months, and take things from there.

So, me (30M) and my gf (33F) had a very rough start of our 1y2m relationship. And things got out of hand again past weekend... So I think I should start from the start, my gf and I got together while I was with my ex. I had an open relationship of 5 years with my ex-gf/fiancee (25F), and "knew" my current gf from the gym. We hadn't talked before. We started talking through IG and one thing led to another and thus here we are.
However, the relationship started very difficult since I left my ex-gf for her, which made my ex say all kind of nasty, incorrect stuff about me.
After getting through that, rather quickly, I was so excited and eager to start my life with her. However, another obstacle occured as someone send a picture of us together to her ex. As we were not yet officially a thing on socials yet to avoid extra drama. But apparently the weekend before we started chatting, she went on a small city trip together her now ex bf (41M). She said it was a few months ago since they broke up. I knew the guy, not as friend but as acquittance. So, obviously he was mad too and started to try and win her back, lie about me, etc. They were in a relationship for 3 years but on/off (due to her trust issues, which happened due to cheating with her previous ex) with her having an occasional mishap during the off periods. But they would always get back together. So in the first months she wasn't sure of me either. Which weighed heavy on me as I was sure of my decision and did not realize what I was missing in my life until I met her. Thus I did not give up and continued to pursue her as she was doubting. She did not have physical contact with the ex in said months (she says), but called and chatted a lot with him. Obviously hurting my feelings but I was sure it would be worth it.
During these months, many other things happened. I taught I could get through it all because my love was so intense for her. I forgave it all. Chatting with many guys, sending pics, talking about our troubles/struggles, talking with ex'es, on top of that she works with someone she cheated with on the father of youngest child which causes me enormous trust issues as she has already lied multiple times when seeing him outside of work, but nothing happened, I believe her, but still... you get the picture... However she is so jealous that I removed every girl from IG she asked, don't talk to any female other than family and am afraid to do so. Fine, I don't mind not having contact with other women if I have her.
One time, in these months, things got out of hand. A girl said hello from a distance in the gym. My gf ran from the gym. I got her with my car and got her to get in so I could bring her home as I did not want to leave on these terms. We drove home as she sat on the rear seats. Things got really heated for the first time and suddenly she hits me from the back when driving right on my glasses. This was the first time in my life I was physically touched in a negative way ever. I tried to keep her at bay. I do not remember the exact sequence but at a given moment when we were driving about 70kmh she opened the rear door and had the intention of jumping out. Hanging with more than half her body at the door handle with her head out. I was shocked and did not know what was happening. So obviously I stopped as soon as I could as I do not want that to happen to her.When we got home, I tried to leave and get my stuff, as we were spending a few days together. While grabbing my stuff I dropped something from the fridge from all the nerves and adrenaline I had, and she kicked me when I was grabbing and cleaning it from the floor. I do not remember exactly what happened after but quite possibly I hit her back (or not, I really don't remember this time). Her kicks or hits do not really hurt physically as she is a skinny girl and I am pretty big compared to her (think: literal double weight muscle 65kg compared to 120kg, to give a perspective). I am aware with our physical sizes this does not fare well if I reciprocate...
In coming months (all during period 4/5 to 7/8 months). Stuff like this occured occasionally (5/6? times). Due to escalations and me trying to leave before things got out of hand. From the second time onward I hit back as the second time she almost (small cut) cut me in the neck with a knife, unintentionally she said but I remember being really really scared that time as I have no real experience with defending myself. Of course, when I reciprocated the fights immediately "cooled down", because I then physically hurt her. Which I all regret to the deepest of my soul. However, I do not know how I can make things up or seek forgiveness from her or myself. As she does not acknowledge her own parts it is really difficult for me to take all the blame to make amends.
Every occurance is way more detailed, but all I remember is my part. Every single time when things got heated I tried to leave but she either gets extremely mad/aggressive or tries to make me feel extremely guilty for abandoning her. Thus I stay. With the violence as consequence. Frequently starting because I try to leave. Sometimes with the kids in their rooms. I remember asking her eldest to call the cops as she got aggressive, obviously that did not happen but all I wanted that moment was to de-escalate the situation as she was throwing with stuff.
All but 2 was "started" because of me. One due to her telling me she will cheat right in front of her kid while she was driving. I do not remember how we even started that fight. It's unforgiveable I hit her once, said to pull over so I could get out and called for mental help as she really knows how to trigger me. But that is no excuse. Another one because she was chatting with a guy and obviously hiding some stuff and I wanted to see her phone. Deleted messages up to one point. Indicating something that could really be interpreted as them doing something together. Once I read those texts, my anger stopped and I just bursted out crying and tried to leave. The moment I try to leave she stops me and started crying and begging to stay and saying nothing happened and they didn't even meet. I was so hurt I could not and did not want to be with her. However, seeing her crying once and literally asking me to stay instead of getting aggressive because I was leaving, I caved and wanted to be with her.
During these months, we tried living together twice. Twice she send me away in the middle of the night due to her being annoyed with me/kids. Following months we went scouting for a place to rent as I wasn't comfortable living at her place any more as I feel like she sees me as a guest and not a partner at that time. Again due to arguments and circumstances, we did not "find" anything and did not continue this idea.
Time went on, "small" issues occured. Some of these: a lot of gaslighting, trust issues (this also from me), verbal aggression/humiliation, blocking me on socials, false accusations, jokes about exes when we see them from a far, guilt tripping, very egocentric, talking a LOT LOT to the dad of their daughter, etc. If I had to explain everything in detail, the text would be 100x longer.
Life was relatively good compared to the start. Due to reasons above, I avoided trying to live together again. At a certain point she started talking more about wanting to live together. Of course I understand as life can't keep standing still. We went watching for houses and head over heals in a "high" and good period of love I agreed upon buying a house of which I would place the down payment and related costs, we found one and got it. As weeks passed, small arguments/fights (non-physical) once again took place. Like a solid pattern repeating itself about weekly to bi-weekly. Making her and myself doubt about the choice we made but is very hard to get out of unless losing the down payment. I already put my place up for sale to pay for this thus for me, there is no way back and I do not want to stay in my old place. But none of us can afford the house alone.
2 weeks ago, I started my first counselling with a psychologist to work on my trust issues, my guilt feelings, and everything related to this relationship as I really want to make it work.
Last weekend. After my shift from work. We met up to eat something nice, watch a movie. But logging in to a streaming app, she saw my ex still had an account (she does not use it). But as stubborn as I am, I said I would only delete it once she leaves her ex's streaming acc. For some reason I said it's not a big deal and she is on my music streaming service as well (apparently she already left it but I didn't know at the time). Thus, she got mad, got up and wanted to leave. I really did not understand what the big fuss was as I didn't see this as something so bad as many people do it. Sure, I do not mind deleting her, but I want her to do the same then. Out of principle. Is this so wrong? So, I sat in the couch waiting for her to calm down and come back, except she did not. As I was not showing enough concern toward this, she got mad and with the same attitude as when the first fights happened, she got close to me and apparently threw a pillow (for me it felt like she was attacking me). Due to past events, it felt like we were back to square one and something switched in my head. I hit her a couple times and threw her luggage out. I hate and despise the fact that this happened and I did this to her. She is hurt because of me and I wish there was a way to take this back.I do not understand why we are in this spiral of emotions and stay together.
I want to say that I have never laid a hand upon a living being until I was hit a few times too much, I could not handle it and now I feel like I am not myself anymore.
Also, this weekend I noticed she lied to me. The youngest kid told me are you coming to the party at her (kids) father's place, and she said we're just going to say hi at his job for father's day.I immediately knew she was not honest as she (kid) has always straight forward and honest to me.I acted like I didn't care but after working out, I normally drive to work, this time I took a detour to check if she was home.She was not. She was texting slowly compared to normally and I knew it in my gut I was right, so my urge to check was greater than my trust, and correctly so.Sure, she could have gone, but to lie and/or not say anything about it, hurts me, my bond with her and my trust in her. Again.
Despite everything, I love her and her kids a lot. It feels like she is the first person I really love.I do not know what I expect of this and I hate who I became because of everything that happened. I wish I could tell if I am safe with her and that she is safe with me.I am afraid that if she does something stupid, I would too.
tl:dr; A LOT (physical fights, jealousy, lies, etc.) has happened since the start of our relationship and I wish I could start it over with her as I really love her and want to work on it and doing my part

I already put my place up for sale to pay for this thus for me, there is no way back and I do not want to stay in my old place. But none of us can afford the house alone.
2 weeks ago, I started my first counselling with a psychologist to work on my trust issues, my guilt feelings, and everything related to this relationship as I really want to make it work.
Last weekend. After my shift from work. We met up to eat something nice, watch a movie. But logging in to a streaming app, she saw my ex still had an account (she does not use it). But as stubborn as I am, I said I would only delete it once she leaves her ex's streaming acc. For some reason I said it's not a big deal and she is on my music streaming service as well (apparently she already left it but I didn't know at the time). Thus, she got mad, got up and wanted to leave. I really did not understand what the big fuss was as I didn't see this as something so bad as many people do it. Sure, I do not mind deleting her, but I want her to do the same then. Out of principle. Is this so wrong? So, I sat in the couch waiting for her to calm down and come back, except she did not. As I was not showing enough concern toward this, she got mad and with the same attitude as when the first fights happened, she got close to me and apparently threw a pillow (for me it felt like she was attacking me). Due to past events, it felt like we were back to square one and something switched in my head. I hit her a couple times and threw her luggage out. I hate and despise the fact that this happened and I did this to her. She is hurt because of me and I wish there was a way to take this back.I do not understand why we are in this spiral of emotions and stay together.
I want to say that I have never laid a hand upon a living being until I was hit a few times too much, I could not handle it and now I feel like I am not myself anymore.
Also, this weekend I noticed she lied to me. The youngest kid told me are you coming to the party at her (kids) father's place, and she said we're just going to say hi at his job for father's day.I immediately knew she was not honest as she (kid) has always straight forward and honest to me.I acted like I didn't care but after working out, I normally drive to work, this time I took a detour to check if she was home.She was not. She was texting slowly compared to normally and I knew it in my gut I was right, so my urge to check was greater than my trust, and correctly so.Sure, she could have gone, but to lie and/or not say anything about it, hurts me, my bond with her and my trust in her. Again.
Despite everything, I love her and her kids a lot. It feels like she is the first person I really love.I do not know what I expect of this and I hate who I became because of everything that happened. I wish I could tell if I am safe with her and that she is safe with me.I am afraid that if she does something stupid, I would too.
tl:dr; A LOT (physical fights, jealousy, lies, etc.) has happened since the start of our relationship and I wish I could start it over with her as I really love her and want to work on it and doing my part

Hey guys, I don't know where to start and frankly, I am lost, so I am here hoping to get some advice.
Quick background: I grew up in an East Asian country and moved to a Western country when I turned 21.
I am getting married and I have two maids of honor, one from the country I grew up in and one from where I live now. I am having my wedding in the country I grew up in, so the situation made sense.
Fast forward, I had my bachelorette party in the country I reside in, and my maid of honor who still lives in the country I grew up in [I will call her Asian Maid of Honor from here to make it less confusing] came all the way to celebrate my bachelorette. She is staying with me, which I was excited about because the last time we spent this much time together was when we were 20.
I was really grateful that she came all the way, but there were some issues I noticed that made me question if I even want her as my friend any longer.
Firstly, she kept making negative comments about the theme of the party mainly because it is something she wouldn't do. I mentioned multiple times that this is my bachelorette, but she constantly made nasty comments. At the same time, she followed what was asked and dressed up as required but kept making unpleasant comments about everything, which really bugged me.
Secondly, I warned her that this is a different country, so the rules and regulations work differently. Where I live, they are stricter when it comes to drinking and being drunk, unlike the country I grew up in, where they keep serving alcohol until you pass out on the floor. I already warned her that because there will be 14+ other guests at my bachelorette, I won't be able to mother her all the time, so she really needs to be more mindful as I can't take care of her 24/7. She got a little overexcited, got wasted, and managed to disappear in a country where she can barely communicate, which resulted in ruining my bachelorette night because I had to call everywhere trying to find out where she disappeared to. But there are more stories related to this which will make sense with the other point.
What really annoyed me the most, and made me question everything, was this final issue. We grew up and spent our late teens and early twenties together, where our society was quite different and we were taught to act a certain way, believing that getting attention from men is everything. However, I noticed that she hasn't grown up a bit since I left the country, whereas I feel like I have matured much more and my perspective has changed. Essentially, she was allowing creepy people who approached the bachelorette with wrong intentions to do anything and kept inviting random groups of strangers who clearly had weird intentions to our table. I told her multiple times that my other friends expressed that they were uncomfortable because most of them have spouses and are not interested in talking to these men, and most importantly, they are here to celebrate my bachelorette, not to talk to random groups of men with weird intentions, treating this as some sort of matchmaking show. Not to mention, every group she dragged to our table was pretty much harassing my friends. There were two guys from different groups who kept touching my Asian maid of honor inappropriately in a public space to the point that a patron at the bar raised it to the bartender, and apparently my Asian maid of honor said it was okay and sent the security away. Essentially, the reason why she "disappeared" was because she decided to leave the group and follow one of those strangers. It's her body and her choice, but firstly, she has a spouse herself, and each time I raised a concern and communicated that I was uncomfortable with her bringing these random people to our table, she said, "What is the problem? These men are trying to be nice and offer us free drinks," where I told her multiple times, this is not the right occasion and not the right time. I told her if she wants to go out and "make friends," she can do it on her personal trip and personal time, but this is my bachelorette and I would much prefer her to just enjoy the company and stop adding random strangers.
Also, I was told pretty rude things by her boyfriend when he discovered that I was not with her at the end of the night because she flew all the way and I was supposed to take care of her.
Fast forward to this morning, I confronted my friend and had a chat about how upset I was with her behavior. At first, she said it was unfair how I was upset with her because she was drunk and I also did stupid things because I was drunk, such as leaving her behind resulting in missing her (which started another whole argument because SHE SNEAKED OUT TO FOLLOW THIS MEN that no one knew she was gone until we were heading home). Then she said it was unfair because she was just excited for my bachelorette, so all the choices she made were because she was feeling happy for me and wanted to "enjoy the vibe" and because we don't have something like bachelorette parties where we grew up, she didn't take it seriously and thought it was just one of those girls' nights out where we can just have fun. And with the bringing creepy dudes and following one and disappearing, she simply said, "She does not remember, hence it didn't happen." Then when I told her there were so many complaints about her because of it, she said, "It is simply a different cultural background, so my friends from here just do not understand her," which I told her was not the case as there were some friends who grew up in the same cultural background and moved to this country only after their twenties. Then when I told her her boyfriend is no longer invited to my wedding because he was unreasonably rude, especially since we only met twice and he decided it was okay to speak to me the way he did last night, she said she understands where I am coming from but I am being unreasonable and am not respecting her man who was simply trying to make sure she is safe.
Then when I went over all the details of why I am not okay with her "excuses," she then decided to cry and said, "I really didn't know what I was doing was wrong and didn't know bachelorette parties were this important, I just thought it was just a simple girls' night and just wanted to have fun, but now I am upset that I have ruined your night," and just kept sobbing all day.
I told her that I really am sorry to make her upset, but I just wanted to communicate because I do not want her to behave this way at my wedding, especially at my wedding reception where the majority of guests that came to the bachelorette will be there, and she really needs to get her act together. Also, today was her last day in this country, so I don't want this (her sobbing and me confronting) to be her last memory, so if we can go out and refresh and reassess our feelings because she still is an important friend and I do value our friendship. Then she said she needs time to think, came back in 3 hours, which I later found out she went to "hang out" with one of the strangers she met online while she was here, which apparently is not a dating app, which didn't add up, but I decided not to question as I am pretty much done at this point and simply it is not my business.

Hey, i'm first time DM-ing for a low level party. Started at lvl 1, they just reached lvl 3. On a nat20 one of the characters found a curious black ring and after a failed wis save, he put it on and doesnt want to take it off. At the next short rest he got +1d6 to his max HP, at the next long rest he had seen a dream of black flames promising knowledge (that's very important for the character), he walked right in the flames and he got the following: he attuned to the ring, grim psychometry, -2 STR, and -1 DEX, also his hand became visibly paler. My plan is that over the course of 6 long rests he develops light sensitivity (they are currently in an underground dungeon), and the curse can be broken by a lvl 3 dispel magic (lvl 1 DC 22, lvl 2 DC 18). The party doesnt have access to this spell but there is someone in the village where they are headed who will offer it. Obviously after dispell all effects will fade, except the ring finger gonna remain little bit whiter than his complexion. What do you think about this? Is it "too cursed"? Any more fun things to add to it? I also tried to make it vampire themed, but nothing good came to mind.
