My lease on my current place ends in July. I asked my current landlord over a month ago if myself and my kids (single mom and two teens), can sign another 1 year lease. We have kept his place immaculate and he has seen it several times over the past year. My rent is always paid on time and bills are up to date. His response to signing was that he needed to check what the current market value is and he will get back to me. I’m my area it has gone up $300-$500 per month. I still haven’t heard back from him. I need to either give a month notice or re-sign with him for June 1st so I am running out of time. I have looked at current prices around Edmonton for a 3 bedroom place and the majority are $2000 and up. The max I can afford is $1900 and that’s at the top of my budget. It means I’m working over full time. Both my kids are special needs and while I do get some funding for them it’s only a couple hundred a month. It mostly pays for medical supplies. No one will want to be a roommate with a person who has two medical kids. I also don’t want the stress of getting a 4+ bedroom place and then the roommate takes off and I’m left paying for everything myself. I had it happen several years ago. I make decent money ( I am a pediatric LPN) but it’s not enough to survive on with the way things are going. I don’t want to have to move into a dangerous neighbourhood or a very run down and dangerous accommodation, just to make ends meet. Rent in Alberta is getting beyond ridiculous. I also have to compete against a lot of other people in this city for any accommodation. I’ve started looking at small towns for cheaper places but then that means my kids will be pulled from their special schools and I will either have to home school them, they go to regular schools and fail high school or they just drop out of school. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 😔small towns are almost just as expensive and then I will have to find a new job. Just frustrated at where housing in Alberta is at.
EDIT: yes I am open to having a 2 bedroom or even a 1 bedroom place to have a roof over our heads but it’s just disheartening that rent has gone up so much.

I (21F) decided to drop out of university a couple of months ago after my third attempt at a degree. Bluntly, I just don’t think the way it works is for me. I’m ADHD/ASD Level 1 and, partially as a result of that, I’m an extremely literal person and I learn through examples of a concept or way of thinking in practice. I had to spend hours and hours of my time a week seeking out examples of every single topic I learnt in a class (say, I was in a class about political theory when I was trying out political science and they mentioned historical relativism, I then had to spend hours searching for examples of historical relativism to understand it). I also struggle a lot with hyper focus and there’d be days where I’d just read without food or even more than one or two bathroom breaks from 8am in the morning to 8pm at night. As you can imagine, I got super burnt out and I’d crash and burn and end up majorly depressed within a year, but then a few months later I’d convince myself that it was just because I didn’t like the material and try again. Thankfully, I finally picked up on the cycle and I walked away for good. Maybe I’ll try again in my mid or late 20s, but, right now, I’m done.
I still live with my parents and, when I told them I dropped out of uni full-stop, they just said: “It’s absolutely fine that you’re not in uni for now, but you need to get a full-time job ASAP if you want to continue living here” and I jumped right on it. My dad works in hospital administration and his manager told him to tell me to send my resume to HR there and they’ll maybe hook me up with something. Within a week, I got an interview with one department that I thought went solidly despite my utter lack of experience in hospitals or even in administration (my only work experience before has been nannying and working in OSHC/tutoring centres casually). The department head called me about a week later saying I wasn’t successful for that particular position but they really liked “my personality” and all my references were great and they were passing my resume onto other department heads.
A couple of weeks later, I got a call from an administration manager that oversaw the hospital’s Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit and she wanted me to come in and “meet everyone”. I thought this just was code for another interview so I got super prepped and came in ready to be grilled. As it turns out, the manager just met me in the building that all the heads and managers work out of it and took me to the unit. I met the head nurse and her and the manager just sat me down and told me all about the unit, warned me about some of the challenges (ward accepts children and seeing brain-damaged children come who have to stay there on their own for an extended period doing rehab with little understanding of what’s going on is, of course, distressing + majority of patients in the ward are young men who sometimes get argumentative and aggressive), assured me that I’d do several weeks worth of training so that I’d feel adequately prepared, allowed me to ask questions and gave me a tour of the entire unit afterwards. In the end, the head nurse said: “Looking forward to seeing on the 27th!” as she said goodbye. I was totally flabbergasted because it wasn’t even an interview - just a good, informative chat.
The admin manager told me as she was seeing me off that I didn’t have to accept the position if I didn’t want it, but I “have the job” and to please let her know within a couple of days what I decided. I have my reservations about how I’ll handle it (I’ve worked with disabled children in tutoring/OSHC but this is a lot different) but I really want to give it a try + I kind of need a job so I called her the next day saying I’d love to take up the position. I’m still kind of in shock. As I said in the title, I basically got offered this job on a silver platter and I’m in absolute disbelief about how this has all happened and how I just suddenly got a job on a random Tuesday. Like wtf?
I got sent some paperwork yesterday about the job and the minimum pay is $2820 a fortnight which is utterly INSANE. No, I’m not going to be rich, but, as someone who’s always worked casually around school and never earned over $700 a fortnight, I still can’t fathom that amount of money. Even after I take out tax, mandatory HECS (student loan system in Australia) repayments and the amount of rent my parents are charging, I’m still pocketing $1800 a fortnight. I can’t even believe it. I didn’t think it was possible for 21-year-olds without a degree to earn that much. I don’t even want to tell anyone around me because I’m afraid it’s some mistake.
I won’t lie. There are some cons. The job is from 7:30 to 3:30 M-F and, because of how far I live from the hospital and the fact that I can’t drive for medical reasons, I’ll have to get up before 5:30 in the morning. The admin manager also mentioned to me that the unit doesn’t really ‘do’ overtime and if I clock out after my scheduled finish time, a record of that time is kept and I can eventually apply for an extra leave day with it. Furthermore, as I mentioned above, there’s elements of the job I have mixed feelings about. I have a lot of trouble comforting people, so if a distressed patient or family member approaches me (which, in a brain injury unit, is probably going to be common), I’m not really sure what else to say other than: “Oh… Oh.. I’m sorry… That really sucks… Oh… Oh…” Nevertheless, both of those pitfalls still don’t seem to justify the 72k a year to me… It’s not like I’m literally taking care of these patients, I’m just talking to people coming in and answering emails and phones.
I’m super scared that there’s something that’s being hidden from me and that’s why they were so eager to get me, an inexperienced 21 year old, into the position. I tried to ask my mum the other day: “What if they’re just saying that the patients are ‘argumentative’, but in reality they throw chairs and spit at the admin or you’ll have to pull 11 hour shifts on the regular with no proper overtime or they’ll just leave me in charge of an entire ward and that’s why they’re so desperate to find someone?” My mum told me that I was being ridiculous and I’m “underselling myself” and she’s sure it will be fine… but I’m not 100% certain. I’m sure there has to be at least some level of transparency and professionalism because it’s a public hospital and it’s fully accountable to the government (the Australian health system is reassuring sometimes!), but there’s nothing strictly stopping them from straight up lying about what I’m in for when I start this job.
I really want an objective perspective on this because everyone I’ve personally tried talking about this to has brushed me off and said they’re sure I’ll be great… But I don’t ask if they think I’ll be great, I’m asking if they think this job is straight up too good to be true and they’re just dancing around the question. Hi ladies! Could you please give me some advice on my cut journey? I am still a student so can’t afford a coach at the moment….
I started this cut on April 18 because I was too fluffy. Calories intake back then was not counted, diet was like a board line healthy diet plus snacking a lot on junk food, was only working out at the gym for 4 days a week (2 legs and 2 upper) with no cardio and minimal steps. I started at 68kg/ 150 lbs and now I’ve been stuck on 67.1kg/ 148lbs for around two weeks, numbers on weight scale are pretty consistent as same as my waist measurement. I used a TDEE calculator to work out my deficit calorie should be 1900/ 1800 calories and I manage to do that but somehow it is not working please help. I’ll attach the details down below.
Measurements:
Height: 172cm / 5’7
Weight: 67.1 kg/ 148lbs
Waist: 68.5cm/ 27 inches
Workout:
Leg, shoulder, back day twice a week + one rest day
20 min cardio on treadmill of at least 125 heart rate + trying to hit 8k steps a day (cardio included) (gym day only on rest day im mostly sedentary)
Almost 2 years into weightlifting, still able to do progressive overload.
During the day im mostly sedentary.
Diet:
1900 calories with every gram of food counted mostly sourced from whole foods.
30% Protein 50% carbs 20% fats
Other factors:
Got off of the birth control pills on Dec last year now am having longer menstrual cycles (around 40days).

Hi, I'm posting here hoping to get some help after my fiance fell and hurt his leg. He fell last Friday and broke his tibial plateau as well as tearing his ACL and meniscus. He is going to need surgery and will be out of work at least 8 weeks. He doesn't have insurance or short term disability, and this isn't a workman's comp injury, so we will have to cover the medical bills and regular bills without help.
Unfortunately he is our main breadwinner. We have two kids with disabilities at home and I can only work part time because of their needs. My youngest daughter is 10 and she needs medical care around the clock. With the nursing shortage, I have been filling in 20+ hours a week caring for her as well as working, and now I'm caring for my fiance too. His mobility is extremely limited and he's in a lot of pain, so on top of needing my help, he can't help out with her care either.
We are already drowning, as the rent itself is $1900, and he's been seen in the ER, plus the orthopedic doctor, plus xrays, CAT scans, and an MRI. Surgery is going to be expensive and he will probably need physical therapy afterwards.

Here's the situation: One friend of mine and I are decent, but the friend we usually do 3s with is honestly pretty clueless. We usually play alts because we know there's a ceiling to how high we can climb with the third guy, but we've been running into an issue this season: my alt healer has never climbed over 1800 in SS and 1600 in 3s, and the others haven't pushed much higher than 1800 on either of those toons, but we've been fighting between 1900-2200 MMR all season.
We can usually beat the teams up to 2k, but anything over that and they smell blood in the water with the third guy and obliterate him. No big deal, we're trying to have fun with our friend, not push.
But I'm 7-24 in 3s at this point, and our MMR hasn't dipped below 2k. What's going on?

TLDR: Signed up for affordable health insurance through marketplace. Plan claims specialist is in network, but the hospital called and said the appointment won't be covered and United Health Care is not in network. I called UHC and they said some things that didn't really make sense and hung up. What Should I do? This is in Alabama btw.
I was fired form my job in February and lost my insurance which was BCBS FEP. Before I lost that insurance, I had some imaging work done for a medical issue that I am dealing with. That imaging work was done in March under BCBS. I officially lost the insurance in April. During this time I had an appointment with a specialist scheduled in May and I figured that would give me enough time to sign up for marketplace insurance. I managed to get signed up with United Health Care Silver Plan at the end of April so I would have insurance ready for my appointment in May. When I was looking for the insurance, I filtered the results to show the specific specialist that I had the appointment for and the hospital/medical center that the specialist works at. Marketplace (Healthcare gov) showed that the doctor and facility were in the network for this plan. I bought the plan and was happy thinking that everything should go smoothly for my upcoming appointment. This is where things start getting confusing. I got a call from the hospital (I believe it was the department of the specialist that I needed to see) saying that the insurance that I have (UHC) will not cover anything at all including initial visit, imaging, surgeries etc. I broke out in an instant sweat. I told her that the marketplace website said that this doctor and facility were in the network. I ended up rescheduling to late June. I keep having to push this appointment back due to the insurance issues. I called UHC to confirm whether the hospital/specialist was showing if they were in the network in their system. They did not really help much. The rep said something along the lines of "A primary care physician needs to send a referral to the specialist and they don't have it in the UHC system. The thing is I had a referral sent which is why I had an appointment to begin with, it was just sent when I was enrolled in Blue Cross Blue Shield FEP. Basically my question is: WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE? Should I file some type of complaint to get the money that I have paid for the plan? What's the point of having a plan that doesen't cover anything. I only went with this plan because of the affordability and the benefits. It has an $1800 deductible and I was pretty sure I will need some surgery. It said on the website that the facility and doctor were in the network. Should I cancel the plan and look for another plan through marketplace? I am currently unemployed and living off savings for now. I really am trying to see a doc soon because my medical issue wont allow me to exercise or exert myself. I know this may sound like I am all over the place but I am needing some advice. Also this is taking place in the state of Alabama. Just looking for some advice on what to do next. I apologize for yet another "Sim Racing PC Build" thread.
I am a 53 year old semi-retired gentleman with a recent medical diagnosis that will require surgery and put me out of commission for a few months (Big C).
I am completely new to sim racing but have always been interested in it. Always wanted to try a racing sim and feel it will be a good project and escape in the coming weeks/months while I am preparing and in recovery and somewhat out of commission.
I have done a ton of research on Sim Racing forum but still a few questions.
I want to build a PC that will allow for eventual 1440p / 165HZ with triple monitors and possible VR down the road. I'm pretty tech savvy and understand all the components needed but just don't want to overspend where it won't give me a any bang for my buck. I know I need a higher end GPU/CPU but specifics (NVIDIA vs AMD, CPU/motherboard combo, cooling req, case with sufficient airflow, power supply min wattage, etc.. Just a lot to research and narrow down with the time I have left.
Was hoping someone can advise on what specific components I should use and where best to get them from. I don't have a Microcenter nearby though one is coming to Northern CA this year (Santa Clara, CA) but not until the end of the year.
Thinking a $1800 to $2200 budget to play all the usual popular titles (ACC, iRacing, etc.).
If the experts can help with component selection and sourcing, I would greatly appreciate it to save some time and get this project going.

Punkin has come a long way, he used to say that it could never be done, now he keeps falling back, apparently trying to hold the line, lol, now he is asking questions about revenue and dang even invoking God to help humanity as his reason for posting in his credentials. Even if one thinks that they are right that is quite a statement, typically something that a reasonable person keeps to themselves a life's effort is something between them and their creator. I have no idea where this technology will lead or what it will solve, my goal is an investment, certainly not divine, I have no clue in the end who it will truly benefit but the medical thing does have potential.
Today I'm happy with thousands of modulators on a foundry produced wafer. And thousands of modulators from a few ounces of Perkinamine. These modulators Triple the speed, reduce the power and are 1/30 the size of today's modulators. Lebby will fill us in on what we need, he is far more intelligent than anyone on this board.

Oh and do not forget about those that sold early (or didn’t sell early) that purport to be long and like to consistently complain every single time the price drops. Let me try to explain it this way, this is not a sports game, this is a technology, so unlike sports, points can be literally be taken of the scoreboard by simply borrowing and selling shares (shorts). Remember though that those shares must be purchased back and until then the actual score of the game is not known. So the shorts agenda is to sell it down then try and convince folks to sell them shares at that discounted price. Some longs do not understand that they are helping the shorts at their game. They have borrowed those shares and pay interest daily and have sold them to us with the hope of buying them back at a reduced price (Some purported longs even try to help them) apparently, they think that if they complain it will force an NVDA, Microsoft, IBM, Amazon to reach an agreement with Lightwave sooner. Well, it will not change the speed of the adoption of the technology, I’m all for doing a tier1 agreement, but a few quick little agreements could force their hand so the Tier1’s do not have to have to honor those agreements should the company be taken over. Some seam to forget that until now Silicon photonics could keep up, but no more and with AI we just entered a new world, where the pace set by Moore's Law for silicon photonics is leisurely compared to this new demand. AI is totally on a sprint, with its computational power doubling not every two years, but approximately every six months.
Let me look at what the shorts have said over the years basically throwing spaghetti at the wall and have been proven wrong. Patents were filed in 2020, 2021, ALD I think was 2022. Patents were not made public, the shorts were babbling meanwhile Lebby had not only solved it but wrote and submitted patents.

1.) The shorts had worked for months to try and convince investors that Lightwave had a problem poling. Then low and behold Lightwave unveiled 2 patents they submitted years prior solving that issue.
2.) The shorts claimed for years Lightwave could not protect the device in anything other than a gold box, then Lightwave unveiled the ALD patent that they had acquired. Basically, hair spray over the finished chip is all that is needed. The foundries are using the same thing over the electronics side of the chip. Understand that even if someone else invents an EO Polymer Lightwave Owns the Patent on ALD over Polymers. Comprende?
3.) The shorts claimed Lightwaves material was not stable, Wham Bam blown out of the water yet again.
4.) Shorts said that Lightwave could never get this under 1 volt, well Lightwave did, in fact Lightwaves polymer is so sensitive that their modulators can function without the aid of driver to boost the voltage. Basically the electrons in the 1's and 0's rolling off the silicon can embed themselves into the laser using Lightwaves polymer. Oh and by the way, Lightwave also owns the patent on a driverless Polymer Modulator. Even if someone perfects a stable sensitive EO polymer when the want to do direct drive, they have to come knocking on Lightwaves door with cash in hand.
5.) For the 6 months leading up to last years annual shareholder meeting the shorts stated Lightwave could not close a commercial deal all the then like now trying to convince us that the sky was falling and once again Lebby delivered.
6.) For months the shorts said Lightwave could not use anything other than gold on their electrodes, well guess the F what, yup, once again (at the shareholders meeting) Lebby put up a slide of successful foundry runs and when asked by me if the contacts labeled AL on the slide stood for Aluminum Lebby said “yes, we use that any many other materials as well”. I asked about aluminum corrosion, the response was, X (you idiot) that is what the ALD will also protect.
7.) The Shorts were trying to convince longs that the foundry had not made progress on PDK’s, Lebby certainly blew them out of the water on that as well. As info PDK’s are process development kits, it is how the foundries make Lightwaves devices available to the public so when an NVDA’s, Amazon (AWS), Cisco or Fujitsu are designing devices they can check that box and add that to their device in the foundry. 2 weeks ago lebby said the foundries have thousands of modulators per wafer. On question that I need to understand is that with thousands of devices on a wafer how many of those thousands of modulators are affected by the kerf when dicing (sawing or scribing?)

10) I like this, Ted who also has another ID said that he gets his info from the internet because everything on it is true. When asked why he does not use first-hand information he said that he is not good at reading people, lol and yet he watches every video with baited breath.
I know some do not see it but as evidenced by their latest efforts the shorts are worried and it is obvious that whomever they got their info from was consistently years behind making up issues that had in fact already been solved. I would not want to have been an advisor to the shorts.
Lightwave is finally at the stage where they have the patents in place, moved into additional lab space, hired additional lab personnel for making larger quantities of perkinamine, (a few fluid ounces can make thousands of devices) the new lab will be equipped to test larger quantities of chips coming back from foundries, work on new polymers for additional devices (they even have another polymer available for licensing) produce data sheets, standardize bulk testing, they have even hired a dedicated deal maker, oh also a V.P. dedicated just to working with foundries that are actively running wafers. Now they have added a former Intel deal maker to the board of directors.
Soon this thing will in fact snowball because the industry's "go to" good old silicon photonics has hit the wall it simply cannot run faster. Lightwaves material when added applied to Silicon triples the speed and because it is so sensitive it is 30times smaller and uses 1/10 the power all at a time when AI is pushing the amount of data processed by the data centers through the roof.
~Some of us were wondering why the Lightwave employees were still in town (apparently held over) for an extra 2 days over after the OFC San Frisco meeting, now we see that there were no less than 20 companies that apparently requested an unscheduled impromptu demo on a holiday week (good Friday) after the convention was over. Not only did Lightwave employees not go home but it sounds like a bunch of Tier 1’s and such saw it as important enough to see ASAP. And yes while many on here say that NDA’s do not exist, LOL I’ll bet that not only were NDA’s mandatory but I bet that every demo was “private” by scheduled appointment only and also attended by the various expert employees at Lightwave to get the most bang for the buck.~
Lightwave makes the thing that makes the component better anyone communicating using fiber optics needs it, the entire industry needs it. Think if BASF produces a chemical that makes paint last longer. Why would the paint manufacture tell its competitors what makes their paint so durable. Lightwave is going partner with many and they will simply sell devices that are faster and require less energy, those companies are not going to tell the competition what they do to make that happen. Lightwave will quietly market to the tier1's and they will insist on it in their data centers and devices. The one exception that I see is that if the foundry runs were paid for by Lightwave Logic (vs. say an amazon or facebook etc) Lightwave would do joint public PR of where the industry can order chips with Lightwaves Perkinamine on it (It is called checking the box on the PDK).
The shorting situation will be solved by additional Partnerships and look out when those Partnerships are accompanied by a dividend in a new 3rd party company licensing say the ability to develop the Lidar device market or for the biotech crowd a medical sensing partner, wham short situation solved in short order. Remember that currently they are only talking about Telcom 2km to 10km market but there are so many more.
Currently 1k difference between the buys and sells changed it 1 penny. Folks this is just normal trading without any pressure on the price. This time next week we’ll either be in the lab or in the meeting.

I just wanted to start this by saying thank you to you all! It's hard to believe that I found this community I want to say eight years ago. I was working a shitty job and I didn't feel like I belonged there and people didn't make it easy there either. I want to say that I was the major problem. I know it's scary to see a large man who is so intensely quiet at times. I know it's scary seeing a man not act like anyone you know. Honestly I don't know how my mind works and I think that's what everyone else is thinking as well.
But it was there that I started googling as they say. I tried every search I could and all of them usually brought up the suicide hotline. That wasn't a comfort. But then I started trying focusing on that part of myself that I know does set me apart. I searched for something and anything for other homeschoolers who'd understand. I went through a lot of homeschool positive forums and such before I eventually landed here.
It was overwhelming. I had people I could talk to about this and they'd understand what it was like. While I wasn't as isolated or abused as many of the post on here show. My abuse was and will always be more mental. It was always shame, isolation and more shame and it was shame at normal things. And it was shame that hurt me from myself.
Many accounts and posts and years later and I've gotten better. It takes a lot of hard work to get here. But I'm feeling more myself and less how everyone else treated me. I'll always be weird though and that's a character strength at this point. But I'm sorry to you all for my many posts and trauma dumps and repeated trauma dumps. It was all to at least feel as if someone else was listen for once and often times that's all you really need to feel.
I've give advice here now for how I think recovery comes from something like this.

1. If your still being homeschooled, never stop asking to get out of it. I remember all the times that I tried pushing on my parents to send me to school. It wasn't very many attempts and I always thought they'd remember. But really their adult lives were and are overwheled by the adult world. Parents get to busy with things outside of the home. They won't remember. So push and keep asking to go to public school. Cause their not going to see consequences of this. For the more tricky parents, well I don't know what to tell you there, I'm sorry. Your just gonna have to be very manipulative with them if their the crazy who doesn't listen to their child.
   
2. If you done with homeschooling and your still living with them. Then please only focus on getting out first before you start the process of digesting all your life's experienced. This is important because your going to feel intense emotions and trying to process it all while your living with them won't make things easy for you.
   
3. Is to take the incredible supplement known as L-theanine as it acts like a mild anti depressant. This was just huge for the comfort it brought me and it's super safe to use. Just whatever you do don't mix it with medication that also effects your brain. It also sometimes doesn't make things better. It's a very low percent of population that gets a bad side effect. But I'm still going to recommend this little amino acid at wal mart just because it helped me were medications couldn't.
   
4. consume any and all media that shows realistic human social interactions. I wouldn't be who I am today without all the great fantastic characters I've seen and read about from manga to 90s television. Just don't fall down some dark hole and think it's all real. But it's going to take the imaginary to help you turn things into a reality.
   
5. Is to give yourself the grace of moving at your own speed. Both mentally and physically. It'll take you a while to do things and it's going to get embarrassing no matter what. But that speed limit you find for yourself is there for just as much safety as anyone driving on a concrete road. Let the ass holes pass you by. Cause their gonna make mistakes and your going to be the one who learns from them.
   
6. Is to limit or remove any and all distractions. We have nothing but screens in front of our eyes anymore and that doesn't do a world of good for our minds and attention spans. When you do this you free up some processing power for your brain. That's processing power that can help you with learning new things or dealing with your trauma.
   

Now that doesn't mean you should become a boring old slob. It just means picking your entertainment and time of day for it. Social media, electronics and all the other stuff wont be going anywhere anytime soon. Look away from it all and look at yourself, it'll all be there when you return. For now, just heal.

1. GET WEIRD!!!!! Now that may seem a little strange that your learning to be normal and act like a functioning member of the Earth. But really, everyone has some weird thing about them. Everyone has something unlikable about them. While it isn't your job to find that in them, I think it's important to be aware of that part of yourself.

This is going to sound weirder. But think about inventing an imaginary friend or imaginary coach or imaginary therapist. I don't know where I got this idea from. But the results for me personally has been day and night. While it isn't exactly something you should shout from the roof tops. It's something deeply wholesome, personal, fun, exciting, and above all else self loving as an experiment of self. You can't love tell you've learned to love yourself and if your not your own best friend then you'll never know how to measure your relationships. I hope it helps someone as much as it's helped me.

1. Find a good therapist. It takes a lot of tries tell you find someone that's right for you. But even going to a therapist you don't like can still give you helpful hints and perspectives. It's really worth trying. Cause your worth the effort.

I titled this with "Hard truths" for a reason. I've been getting in trouble at every job I've ever worked at. People don't think I care about them. People think I'm rude when I'm not trying to be. People get really depressed at how quiet I can get. They can never tell what I'm thinking. All my interests are boring to people and really hard to share in a social setting. Things like art, science, making things, building things and deep spiritual practice. I just don't see how I can share these really deep things with people. I'm really not trying to say people are shallow. It's just hard to not follow the things I love.
As much as I hate to self diagnose because of how unscientific it is. It's expensive to be tested. But I have all the hallmarks of being autistic. I can keep my own company, have very specific interests, and I'm just always off in my own little world and when I try to approach others I just can't find the words sometimes. I also most definitely also have a mood disorder of some kind. With everything I've found, I can hopefully fix it or learn to live with it.

3 years ago my wife and I bought a SFH property from the estate of an older woman that had a long term tenant in place. At that time he was at $900 for a 3 bedroom house . I inherited a huge binder full of stamps from 1800 - 1900. I do not know what is in here. What are the most useful ways to go through this set of stamps? I do not collect stamps and not that interested in picking up another hobby. Is there a site where I can take a photo and it will tell me details around each stamp?
