Sometimes not attending call because they we call to ask for help and sometimes we realise everyone is changed and improving except you and I don't blame them. I keep trying, attending interviews whenever happens but can't clear and even I clear it, they don't call back. It's funny as everyday is frustrating and daily had to find a number ask for help and everyone told me to go to another field but due to ego, I didn't and it is not good move. Can't pay the rent and in the verge of kicking out and has no where to go. I can't go home ryt now as failure after all the struggles without success. I don't want to go home as failure. I also asked help twice in this group. No use. What I'm saying this world only helps those who are doing well not struggling persons. I can't take this anymore man. Each and every day hiding and waiting in bathroom from owner and even everyone in pg hates me now. I don't know I don't want to wake up tomorrow with same problems, I wanna face office politics and working till 11 instead of typing rant in reddit. I don't it will happen or not. PIC1: Little Saya went to Disneyland. When the show started on stage, she voluntarily ran out of her mother's arms, run to the front of the line by herself, started performing a robot dance, and the audience applauded to her. You could say that she was destined to be in the public eye from that point on!
PIC2: As she often mentioned on WNL, Saya specializes in short distance running race since she was a child. But somehow this photo lacks energetic feeling no matter how you look at it, which really suits her elegance temperament nowdays www. Also at that time, Saya was saying the word 平均台(the balance beam for sports) as 処刑台(the execution platform scaffold) at home, which was super hilarious for an elementary school girl XD. Saya explained that it was because she was influenced by the manga ONE PIECE www
PIC3: Little Saya holds the famous electronic pet F U R B Y www. She was especially fond of Furby and owned three as a child. Both the mother and daughter more preferred AIBO, the "AI" robotic dog known for its very high price but few features. Back to 1999 one first generation AIBO costs 250,000yen and the market price was even higher! Some viewers immediately realized that Saya's family was really rich. But we Saya fans have already surmised this from many sources, and in fact most of her junior WNL casters, starting with Yukki also come from very wealthy families. Clearly the rich casters don't work at WNI for the paycheck, the job is valued for other things, it's off-topic so I won't expand on it, just a little reminder to hopefully keep some misunderstandings to a minimum.

I’m agency and lately i’ve been working a lot of facilities where their staff is scheduled over to cover their lunches. For example i picked up 6a-6p last night and the staff girl i was with said i needed to stay until 6:30 because the facility said so… but the times the facility scheduled me wasn’t till 6:30
im really just curious if you guys actually follow that or leave when you’re scheduled. i almost had a panic attack leaving at 6:15 because i didn’t want her to be upset.

Baby/kitchen/chaos witch here. For background, I don’t have particular deities and follow a mix of some Norse, Celtic, and Polish practices (heritage) and work mostly with candles and kitchen supplies.
My husband and I hit a rough patch a year ago after I had a significant health scare and sort of “withdrew” from the world. He stuck with me through the cancer treatment but after remission I just shut down. I wasn’t responding to him, I was forgetful (which came across as neglectful), would lash out, and the pillow I’d used to prop up and protect my surgical site stayed in place and acted as a physical barrier between us. So needless to say, we weren’t intimate anymore. He believed I’d found someone else or didn’t want to be with him, and instead of sharing those fears with me, went out seeking attention from others. I found out about his affair nine months ago and we have since been on the mend. It was a wake up call for both of us.
We’re doing all our mundane work—speaking to each other with intention, spending time together, checking in with each other, going to couple’s therapy, acting like we’re dating again, the pillow is gone, the intimacy is back, etc. and things have been SO improved.
But there’s a horrible part of me that’s nagging at the back of my head. How do I ensure this doesn’t happen again? How can I trust him after he broke my trust? How can we truly protect our relationship? How can we prevent future infidelity?
He has a lot of temptation in his life. He’s extremely intelligent, very good looking, super outgoing, and is one of those people that EVERYONE comes to when they want a shoulder to cry on. He’s also a talented musician and works part time in restaurants (which are notoriously hyper-sexual environments) so he sort of has to flirt/put up with flirting for money (tips).
He’s done some spellwork with me before and I think he’d be open to participating in something now, but I’d also like some “me-only” options to work with.
Here’s some of the lines I’m thinking along: 1. A protective spell that wards against people who seek to come between us 2. A preventative spell that keeps his own mind/heart from straying (not sure how to differentiate that from a love spell—I’m okay with him leaving the relationship if he feels he needs to but not okay with him breaching my trust and cheating) 3. Maybe some sort of freezer spell? Unsure. 4. Something to heal my heart without shutting him out, as I am very much grieving
Most of my research has turned up closure spells (cord cuttings), love spells (which I think are immoral because they can take away free will), or revenge spells (I believe you receive what you give and don’t feel comfy with that karmic load). I cannot for the life of me find any “enhance faithfulness and prevent infidelity” type spells. Any advice or insight would be appreciated!

I spent 6 hours creating a 11 week schedule for 3 different offices employees, including their daily plans. My boss won’t pay me for it because it shouldn’t have taken more than 20 minutes according to them. They won’t invest in ADP or Paycom that will allow me to clock in or out. I know that if I leave this job it will be suspicious to other employers. Only thing that’s keeping me from quitting is I have a company computer but I’ll definitely return it. But I don’t know if they’re going to act tough when I drop it off. Don’t even want to give a two weeks notice when I’m not getting paid for my work.

I was friends with a co-worker multiple years before they become my FLM. It was pretty clear they were not ready to be a manager, but I supported them the best I could. They would complain about how hard it was to be a manager constantly (wanted sympathy). It was through a stroke of luck they landed the manger position due to people leaving IBM, and they were a logical choice for FLM in the SLM's mind.
For a few years they leaned on me heavily to help with different transitions. I backed them up twice while they were on paternity leave as I was a senior employee on the team. They would say things like "I don't know what I would do without you" all the time.
Fast forward a few years and I have been completely burnt-out picking up the slack of a manager who is still learning and was once my friend. At this point I was really feeling a need to find a new position for my mental health.
So I start to reach out to my SLM thinking that was the correct thing to do. Sure enough, when I let my FLM know I was going to meet with my SLM I got my FIRST poor review shortly after. Just a couple months later and my FLM lets me know I am being laid off. They got rid of me as fast as they could, and I was a well respected team lead. This was all after my FLM told me once again "I don't know what I would do without you". My floundering FLM was either failing to prevent it or more then likely actively working against me. I think letting my FLM know I was going to have a 1x1 with my SLM put a target on my back.
Anyway, just be aware that if any of your "friends" suddenly become managers, they are not your friends anymore, and may end up being the person who lays you off. I would recommend keeping them at arm's length and don't let them use your "friendship" to get extra work out of you.

Played a single Legion round today in Chaos Shuffle.
They all brought Commodious Boxes to push gens and have the gall to accuse me of tunnelling because I committed to one chase with two people left, after they used all the pallets, after they didn't do enough altruism, when they had three bad players who couldn't loop, and they all kept doing the same gen, AND THREEGENNED THEMSELVES, and while I was lagging so badly there's NO way I can play Legion at all properly... and I still 4ked, while spreading hooks. I did not slug. I did not camp. I am coming back to Killer after a month long absence. I haven't played Legion specifically in over three months. I had RANDOM PERKS, some of which happened to match up to my power... and one of the perks was HEX: THRILL OF THE HUNT.
So basically I got accused of tunnelling because I 4kd as a Legion, with random perks that left me with only three actually usable perks, and I had Lag the whole time... because I properly checked hooks and committed to a chase HARD in the endgame when it was already over.
In other words, I was called a tunneller for simply playing Legion, not even that well, with serious handicaps. LOL.
Very funny, Zarina. Why didn't Sable take any aggro for you? Why were you running around trying to get chases instead of doing gens? Why did nobody protect the Leon who was clearly baby and get him to leave the area I was in? Why did ALL OF YOU push the gens so hard on ONE SIDE OF THE MAP that Like I'm not even mad. Really not even mad. I played pretty damn fair, she's just mad I committed to a chase. Whatever helps her sleep at night I guess. Maybe next time bring a better group, or don't rely on randoms?
Never forget: To some players, Killer doing anything = tunnel. Never blame your team being unskilled, never blame YOUR lack of skill, nah just blame the other side. That's what's easy, right?
If you have to bring your all EVEN IN A FUN MODE and you STILL lose when the other side is handicapped... what does that really say about you?

I was really excited to finally try Arc when it comes to windows as people seemed to love it and it always looked interesting and clean to me. Here I will write a short review of what i've noticed with using it a few days.
I won't touch so much on the subject on side tabs, Spaces, "bookmarks", these are not really issues and are definitely subjective and different, some people might like the new approach, some dont.
Here's a quick summary of my thoughts on the most notable "features" (Sidenav, Spaces, Different Logic for Bookmarks)

• I personally like the side nav, i like how easy it is to see everything and is forcing me to use my keaboard more for navigation (Ctrl+S, Ctrl+T, Ctrl+W), which i enjoy. It also looks great
• Spaces, and similar features like it in other browsers, is something that's not a part of my workflow typically. I like everything in one place and don't like unnecessary overhead. However, i see great potential in this for people who want to separate personal life and work, or multiple different works in an organized way.
• I don't use bookmarks as heavily as some people either, but it definitely feels weird having them act as tabs, maybe I could get used to it.

I just wanted to mention those obvious and biggest selling points of Arc; however, these are subjective features and changing the way people think about browsers and navigation, I don't want to talk about this atm. Each person should decide if they like what Arc has to offer when it comes to these "breaking" changes.
I also don't want to talk about any early Windows bugs, I'm sure those will be sorted out soon.
What I primarily wanted to talk about is some missing features. Sadly, at this point in time, Arc feels like a downgrade. Many features are missing or abstracted in a very weird way, and its not clear why, most of the things I'm about to talk about would not impact the "nature" of Arc, so I'm not sure why they were left out or not implemented.

1. Favourites (Quick access, or h/e you wanna call it)

When I started using Arc, considering that there is no way to customize the default home page, I was disappointed to see that theres no way for me to quickly open up some my most visited places. Then i found the Favourites, and i was pleasantly surprised, they looked clean, were accessible at all times, didn't take up too much space, perfect. That's what i thought until i was disappointed again.
The way favourites behave is just dumb, i have no other way of putting it. Its horrible and mostly unusable.
Example: Let's say I favorite Netflix. I click on it to open it, it's not gonna create a new tab, its just gonna open it in favorites. I play a movie and navigate off. There is NO WAY for me to tell that Netflix was ever even opened, that I have an entire movie playing in the background, i would have no idea where its coming from, what is playing, or anything about it, until i finally click on it to see whats going on. It's a horrible experience.
This somewhat intertwines with the way current "bookmarks" behave, except that this type of behavior is never expected from a quick-access menu. Atm these are just glorified tabs, but worse since they have no title, no indicators for being opened or playing audio, nothing.
To fix this simply make clicking on this open a new tab, I don't see how the current approach is better.

2. Titles

I can't for the life of me figure out why this is the case, but some webpage titles are overridden. Most notably I noticed Gmail, but I think i saw other cases as well.
In other browsers the title bar would show something like: Inbox(5) - [myemail@gmail.com](mailto:myemail@gmail.com)
In Arc it shows: Gmail
Just why? A very useful piece of information coming from the third party website itself is overridden for a worse user experience.

3. Multi-monitomulti-window support

For this part it might be important to notice the difference between Windows and Mac users. Correct me if I'm wrong but Mac seems typically focused on one monitor (considering the product), and the workflows for MacOS apps are built with that in mind. I'm not saying that all windows users use multiple monitors, in fact most don't, but it seems more common to have those types of customizability.
Now that Arc is on Windows the "Mac way of doing things" seems to remain, and everything feels slightly off.

• Technically you can have multiple arc windows, but the only way to make them is to drag and drop tabs. However, this creates an entirely new unnamed new space, and I'm not sure if that is what i would want.
• Creating new windows lacks the UX compared to Chrome, where you can just drag it out anywhere and it works natively the way a windows app is expected to.
• Middle-clicking the Arc icon in the taskbar doesn't do anything (should open a new window). And Right Click->New window opens the original Space with the same tabs,it feels very off and buggy, I don't see the benefit.
• Splitting is probably the closest I found to match the way I typically use a browser. However these are also not very intuitive, its hard to navigate, replace/add/close tabs, theres a weird white border, you cant split vertically

4. Settings

I couldn't wait to dive into the settings and personalize my Arc experience to fix all of these "issues" I was having. Only to find that settings pretty much don't exist. There is nothing.
(I'm not talking about chromium settings, these need to exist. But even these are impossible to find for an average user)
Here are all the available options

• Change the Theme between the two (they seem exactly the same)
• Change default search engine
• Setup when tabs are archived
• THATS IT, those 3 settings are the only ones that exist.

In such an "innovative" browser I expected intinitely more options to tweak things around. The way it currently is, if you don't like Arcs very opinionated way of doing things, you can't do anything about it. This is probably one of my biggest downsides.

5. Why?

• Opening a URL/Search window always shows "The Browser Company" youtube channel as one of the option? At least disable it when opened once, or put more rows in this menu, you remove an entire space for most recently opened places for an ad.
• Navigating off a page playing a puts a video in a small window over your other stuff. Maybe 1/20 times i watch a video I might want this to happen, the rest of the time, its a music video, podcast, something to listen to, you just navigated quickly off of it, etc. At least add an option to remove this. (As I was writing this i found a way to disable the "picture in picture", I will leave the section to show my initial thought, but im pleasantly surprised i was able to fix this and im willing to give other features a try the same way)

Conclusion

I will still be using Arc for a while to see if I can get used to some of my current pain-points and to give it a better shot, as well as wait for potential upgrades.
Let me know what you guys think and if you found a workaround for some of my issues. Or have any other benefits to Arc that i filed to notice.

Hi, so to start off, for the last couple of years my true wireless earbuds were redmi buds 3 lite, yes, the pair you could buy brand new for 20 dollars.
I saw a review of nothing ears and decided its time to upgrade.
(I tried the built in tester for good fit in the app, both are showing green)

• I dont know if this is how ANC works in earbuds, but I do have WH 1000xm4s that I use for work and compared to those, the ANC almost doesnt exist on the ear's.
  
• The adaptive mode doesnt really adapt, or it takes ages and you might as well leave it on high all the time. If for example I am sitting and play airplane noise from my laptop, it seems ANC gets rid of maybe 20% of the noise. very, very subpar.
  

-It might be related to fit, but the app says its okay. The buds 3 for example fit much deeper into my ears, and with just pure isolation I feel the "natural" (?) noise blocking does more than ANC of ears.
I wish I could return them, seeing other posts, its not just me. Will there be a fix for this in the future ? Has anything been said by Nothing in this regard ?

Me, (19M) and my friend Gwen (20F), met and got really close in the beginning of this year. We both play guitar and enjoy writing and playing music, and we expressed how we'd always wanted to be in a band. Well we've written a couple songs together and even helped friends write songs, so we started to make an album. Our album is almost finished, but we still have no recording studio to produce in.
Our pianist, Layla and our guitarist, Eddie, decided to step down from being in the band so they can focus on school. We're all college students so it makes sense.
Gwen, kinda took up Eddie's job when he left. Gwen is one of my best friends and I love her dearly, but she always has to be the one holding the mic, the one playing the harmonies, and pretty much the one in charge. I've never really minded this because I'm a more go with the flow type of person, but since Eddie and Layla are gone, she's only bossing me around.
I helped design the bands logo and figure out the name, I'm the one who created our set list and has all the mics and recording equipment (all bought with my own money), and I usually set up gigs and venues for us. I've been frustrated recently because every time I try to talk to Gwen about finding a recording studio or having a show, she 'gets overwhelmed' and changes the subject.
But as soon as we start writing music or I try to make promo stuff for social media, she makes it seem like we're not even partners or a duo; she makes me feel like I'm only there to make her better, not so we can work as a team. I've written a few songs that I showed to Gwen and asked to be added to the album and she didn't like them, so all the songs on the album are only ones written by her.
It pisses me off and we're not even going to the same uni next semester, so I feel like it'd just be more fun to either find another band that's more serious or try and start my own journey.
TL;DR:
My band went from 4 to 2 members and though we're trying to make it work, I'm getting frustrated because of commitment level and attitudes. AITA for wanting to leave even though I started it?

I'm an apprentice and since my recent rotation, the Riding Boss has been a complete dick-hole. First day I met him, he jumped my ass when I walked in right on the dot at 7 am (I was in the parking lot 35 minutes early and was there before anyone). Then he proceeds to berate me over the contractor I'm coming from, acting as if they are lazy. Fast-forward 6 weeks later, he rightfully jumped my ass about something, but then proceeded to go on a tirade saying I'm really fucking up and he should fire me now, and essentially told the school director a whole bunch of lies (I'm on time, I have a good attitude, I help out all the journeyman, I rarely take a personal call unless it's an emergency). So anyhow, I'm angry that this asshole fabricated a bunch of bullshit. I feel like I need to tell someone (likely an officer), in the event that he tries anything else. I'm also writing shit down; working through lunches, being asked to work through breaks, being asked to use my personal phone without reimbursement, having a GF running more than one job site at a time, working 3 days without a journeyman doing work that's outside my classification, generally working without a journeyman present, ..... and to the Riding Boss my breaks have been longer with YOUR contractor and YOUR rats you have in charge leave work early regularly!

Let me start by saying that I've been in therapy for years and I have yet to find it useful or have a positive take-away from it. I honestly feel talk therapy is just not for me.
I've been seeing the same therapist for roughly 2.5 years and I don't feel it's a good match. However I felt the same thing with my previous therapists... which makes me question, am I able to find someone that will ever be a good fit?
Anyway, I was seeing her twice a week every week for almost a year. I'm burnt the fuck out. I started canceling at least one of those appointments because I can only have someone tell me to do box breathing and self massage so many times before I legitimately snap. I've tried to tell her that these methods simply do not work for me. Her response is always something like, "it takes time" "over time it will become natural" "studies show..." I don't care, these do not work for me. So I took a break for about a month and a half. I felt more at ease with things. Unfortunately I went back.
Here is where I'm struggling. I feel like my therapist is obsessed, which I know sounds ridiculous. My examples: I'll cancel a Monday appointment on the Thursday or Friday prior, or reschedule. Monday rolls around and she still calls me, leaves a message, repeat at least once. Then she will call me through the week, leave messages and/or email me. Like you see I canceled/rescheduled and I have an appointment for a later date, why all of that behavior? Then when I do go back, she will literally ask me or say, "I thought you were mad at me".... like lady, you're 60 something and I'm your patient. Why is this coming out of your mouth?
Am I overreacting? I know the tendency is there 🙃 but I just feel like it's a strange situation.

I’ll try to make this brief and concise.
I went on maternity leave in October 2023, returning in February 2024.
Last year I had a manager, we’ll call her Manager A, and she thought my work was exemplary and frequently gave me really great feedback. While on leave, Manager A left and Manager B became my manager.
Before my leave, Manager B and I had interacted a few times but she didn’t know much about my quality of work or basically how good I was at my job.
Since returning from leave I’ve dove right in and done honestly a fantastic job and gotten good feedback from people in my office. I was feeling great about my quality of work.
My review was 2 weeks ago and Manager B gave me a middle of the road “meets expectations” rating. I asked for feedback on how to improve and she said, and I quote, “I think it’s just about getting back into the swing of things after your maternity leave.” I was blindsided and accepted it (I know I shouldn’t have) but it’s been eating away at me as it affects my salary increase and bonus - which has not yet been finalized.
I reached out to my old manager and discussed with some execs in my office - all people who see my work every day - who all agreed that I should be receiving the highest rating. They encouraged me to have another discussion with Manager B, and that what she’s doing is illegal.
Basically I’m wondering - is this illegal? Rating me middle of the road solely on the fact that I’m returning from leave.
Any advice you can share? I am located in Seattle, WA if it makes any difference.

I work in a small, local coffeeshop in the South as a barista and have been making $11/hr for a year and a half and my coworkers who have been there longer than me make even less. We sent a short, cordial email to our bosses (Mom n’ Pop shop) saying we would like to schedule a meeting to discuss wages. That was it.
This morning, one of them singles me out, takes me outside, and says we were bullying his wife and that we needed to have some respect. We have been begging them to have just one single staff meeting so we can standardize processes and talk but they have made zero time for that. I said to him well maybe y’all should put more effort into the shop and we’d make better pay and he flew off the handle said “pack your shit and leave. You don’t ever talk to a boss like that.”

I want to mention this is in advance that whatever he did, he did it because he was desperate to get the job because of extremely bad financial condition and family problems. So please refrain from me negetive comments if possible 🙏
My friend joined a big telecom company working as a customer service executive for it's UK branch. The thing is he did not join by going through the interview process but through a guy who worked at that company as an HR and he asked for one month's salary as commission to be given to him. In this way he was already given all the answers he needed. My friend did not have any previous work ex in this industry. He had a decent command over English. But could not go to a college due to poor financial condition of the family. The HR created his CV and put a fake work experience, fake college degree and fake company with a fake reference that he had already set up. There wasn't any breadwinner in his family so he had to find a job that paid decent to support his family. He also couldn't leave home and had to work from home most of the time due to issues in his family. When he got this job as an option he immediately took it.
Even after this, he worked very hard, was one of the best performing employees among many others. But the HR was caught, and so were the people who took the job in this way. That guy had used his reference (apparently they get money from the company for giving a reference of a any employee). Neither that HR nor my friend ever admitted that all of this was fake. And company couldn't verify the references used for the previous company and ofcourse connected the dots. He and many others got terminated after a couple of months of interviews.
He had been extremely good at his job. Je was so good that he was up for a promotion to Team Leader. But he took the job the wrong way in a desperate situation and entering into the company the wrong way caught up to him. He worked for 18 months there.
Now he can't apply anywhere else as he doesn't have a work ex certificate.
Please help him with advice for what he should do next? How can he apply for any other jobs?

I have a boomer neighbor who gives me rides to work and other places because I currently don't have a car or license. She gives me a much better deal than Uber or Lyft. She's a nice lady most of the time, but she is ridiculously paranoid.
This lady literally is the crazy cat lady. She lives on the bottom floor of an apartment, and she has two cats. That's not so bad, but she also leaves food out for stray/feral cats. She has had several complaints about this from neighbors, but she gets upset over them being angry about a bunch of feral cats being around.
Anyway, she is extremely paranoid about getting attacked and thinking people have broken into her house or are planning on it. Whenever a delivery driver or exterminator or someone is around she thinks it's actually someone planning to break into her house and hurt her cats.
When we had a strong storm and her porch umbrella blew over, it couldn't have been the wind. No, it was obviously some human intervention. She's also said how some men on a construction crew broke into her house and drank some of her milk. She's just absolutely positive she had more milk before she left than she did when she got back. It had to have been the work crew guys breaking into her house to drink her milk. I'm sure it's no coincidence she thinks that because these men were latinx.
This lady lives I'm section 8 housing on government assistance. We've had several arguments over this. This culminated in her being angry with me because I said she has nothing worth stealing. The worst part of all this is she constantly posts her suspicions on the Next Door app and all the other boomers chime in with their paranoia and feed each others' delusions. Why are they like this? How did these people get this way? I'd understand if it was only her but soooo many boomers also believe her.
TLDR: Poor boomer living on government assistance constantly thinks people are out to hurt her or steal from her.

Anybody that has taken more holiday than they have accrued before leaving - has Asda actually chased you up on the money that you owe?
How does it all work? Do the managers review the holidays you’ve taken etc. before you leave?

I have played Smite for many years but never really got into the competitive side till recently. I think some of the changes in Smite as of recently have been good for the most part. But Smite 2 seems to be more Conquest/arenaesque and not tactical. Could greatly be because lack of knowledge of how the new changes work myself included. I know they will be changing things as they go and im not saying anything is horrible just my own opinions on some things that could help flow.

1. Make kills more impactful. either increase res timer or decrease damage taken. (Games with 100+ kills total shouldnt be happening)
2. Make War horn more impactful. Give a buff/exp or gold. I never noticed anything and make it more noticeable when stolen. (yes it was funny stealing it infront of people standing there)
3. get rid of the gold camp in solo and replace with buff of some sort. CD/Mana?
4. Following up on Warhorn and to talk about teleporters. Make the warhorn the actual teleport from Solo to duo and remove the 4 on the sides. They didnt seem to be used as much in the alpha and no notification of being used like in Smite1.
5. Gold fury definitely felt more impactful then FG make FG more impactful or nerf GF perks.
6. Allow purchasable wards its nice everyone can place 1 for free but that severely limits the amount of wards being placed if someone doesn't ward it can screw the whole team and doesn't allow for counter-warding.
7. For teleporter should be more central on Duo like Smite 1 and maybe on the otherside of a wall that cant be lept over but can see through a window if someone is using it.(Like Window to Red on the old jade Joust Map) could allow ninja TP if they dont add tele notifications on so Duo would have to pay attention or ward there.

I want to mention this is in advance that whatever he did, he did it because he was desperate to get the job because of extremely bad financial condition and family problems. So please refrain from me negetive comments if possible 🙏
My friend joined a big telecom company working as a customer service executive for it's UK branch. The thing is he did not join by going through the interview process but through a guy who worked at that company as an HR and he asked for one month's salary as commission to be given to him. In this way he was already given all the answers he needed. My friend did not have any previous work ex in this industry. He had a decent command over English. But could not go to a college due to poor financial condition of the family. The HR created his CV and put a fake work experience, fake college degree and fake company with a fake reference that he had already set up. There wasn't any breadwinner in his family so he had to find a job that paid decent to support his family. He also couldn't leave home and had to work from home most of the time due to issues in his family. When he got this job as an option he immediately took it.
Even after this, he worked very hard, was one of the best performing employees among many others. But the HR was caught, and so were the people who took the job in this way. That guy had used his reference (apparently they get money from the company for giving a reference of a any employee). Neither that HR nor my friend ever admitted that all of this was fake. And company couldn't verify the references used for the previous company and ofcourse connected the dots. He and many others got terminated after a couple of months of interviews.
He had been extremely good at his job. Je was so good that he was up for a promotion to Team Leader. But he took the job the wrong way in a desperate situation and entering into the company the wrong way caught up to him. He worked for 18 months there.
Now he can't apply anywhere else as he doesn't have a work ex certificate.
Please help him with advice for what he should do next? How can he apply for any other jobs?

On my second playthrough of the first Remnant. Met Mud Tooth and got the watch in my first run, but never encountered Brabus. In my second playthrough I run into Brabus quite early on and give him his father's watch. IMMEDIATELY right outside The Depot, where Brabus is located, is Mud Tooth, set up shop in the old helicopter. He tells me his stories and gives me another watch.
I just got done talking to Brabus about his father, and I'm like, "Your father's RIGHT THERE DUDE. He selling Mudtooth's Stew out of a helicopter less than a block away!" And then, when Mud Tooth gives me another copy of the same watch I had JUST MOMENTS AGO given away to his son, and talks about all the regrets he has leaving his family, I'm like, "Have you not noticed the Bandit camp parked just down the street from you? Your son is RIGHT THERE! I'm surprised you two haven't run into each other!"
I just thought that was a strange, funny sequence of events the random world generator happened to put together. Oh well, I got that watch back. That watch was out of my possession less than two minutes.

After questioning the contractor on the "work" he did he started to flip out on me and yell and call me names and threatened to take me to court. He told his guys "pack up we're leaving" and he kept running his mouth. I told him to get the fuck out or I'll call the cops.
The contract stated "use of leveling cement and bonding agent" neither was used. I have a bunch of evidence to support my case. A few contractors looked at my basement and said "you didn't even need a new floor over this what you had was fine, just needed a grinding".
Later on Friday night I grabbed a shovel and dug up his work. He had cemented in my water heater and furnace when I told him not to go near it. He put concrete over pieces of sponge pad that wasn't removed. He texts me later that night to Zelle him the remainder of the money, I said no, he said "take it up with the owner so n so". He told me he was the owner a week ago. He said he'd put "an attachment on your house" aka a lien.
On Sunday and Monday I sent him text messages to pay for the damages. When confronted he said "you're not a real man, you don't pay your contractors" then said "you're a f**". Then proceeded to make insults towards my wife. I responded with a "good luck buddy". And started to contact some lawyers and placed a complaint with him to the NY consumers department.
I found out he put a fake address on the contract and that he is most likely lying about being a licensed contractor. I also found prior lawsuits involving him. His business card also doesn't have his name.
Let this be a PSA for first time home buyers like me who don't know any better. He took advantage of my stress of trying to get the basement cleaned up so I can begin more work on it. This will set me back and is seems damages to fix and remove all the shit will be in the 5-7k range. My fault for not properly vetting the guy.
