I was quoted £500 by a removals firm to move all my possessions and furniture from one house to another.
The quote was made over Facebook Messenger but they sent a guy out a few weeks before to have a look at the size of the job. The only complication was a large assembled child's bunkbed/desk/wardrobe unit. I knew it would be complicated but they said they do that sort of thing every day. The quote was to include disassembly and reassembly of this item. Everything else was straight forward (I don't have a lot of stuff, no wardrobes or anything - just several boxes, couple of white goods, sofas etc.
Inevitably the bunk bed thing took them hours to reassemble. The gaffer pulled me to one side and said it would now be £1050 due to the time taken.
I might understand this if they'd done the job blind but as I mentioned - they sent someone to look at it first.
Not only that but they dropped my fridge freezer and made several scrapes and dents in it. I would have overlooked this because I felt sorry for the lad who dropped it. But now I'm not sure. I also helped them move a lot of stuff off the wagon as I was trying to help them complete the job quicker!
I've not yet paid what he claims I owe him- has anyone got any advice how to proceed?

Planned to meet with a guy on Facebook marketplace to sell an item. He asked me a dozen countless questions and I answered them thoroughly and respectfully. We plan to meet up, says he’s on the way, he then proceeds to block/ ghost me while I’m waiting.
I suppose he changed his mind about wanting the item last minute and decided to leave me hanging instead just telling me so.

Nanghiram ako (F23) ng 30k sa friend ko (F22) para sana pambayad ng participation fee pampaayos ng sasakyan ko na nabangga ko sa barrier kakaiwas sa motorsiklo na walang ilaw. Nadamage yung right side bumper and first time ko sana magpaayos ng sasakyan under insurance so di ko alam magkano yung participation fee kaya ako nangutang. Meron naman ako funds pero iniisip ko sakaling magkulang at least, maoorder sana yung parts na kinakailangan asap.
Yung term namin, 20% 1 week so 36,000 pesos ibabalik ko. Nung araw na irerelease nya sakin yung pera, pumunta ako sa bahay nila, pinark ko lang yung sasakyan sa harap at di ko na pinatay since akala ko ready na yung perang hihiramin ko and may photocopy na akong dala ng ID ko. Pagkakatok ko sa bahay nila, binuksan nya pinto at sinabi nya need pala daw nya magwithdraw so ayun, sabi ko OK, pero bigla sya pumasok sa driver’s seat saka nilock yung pinto at sya daw magdadrive. Ilang beses ako nag NO, at hindi ako tumigil kakasabi na ako sana magdadrive kasi di ako comfortable may ibang hahawak ng manibela. Kaya lang, di nya ako pinapakinggan and since nagmamadali ako umabot sa cutoff ng casa, pumasok ako sa backseat (nasa passenger seat yung katulong ko na kasama ko that time). Kahit nung umaandar na yung sasakyan ilang beses ko sya sinabihan ayaw nya talaga ihinto at bumaba. Nainis pa ako kasi ang naiwan nya dawpala yung wallet nya and that includes SEVERAL stopovers sa mga kakilala nya sa lugar nila na binabati nya (she seemed to be showing off). Hanggang sa nag uturn sya sa isang street kung saan sumayad yung LEFT bumper ng sasakyan sa residential water meter. Ang lakas and rinig na rinig yung crisp ng pagkakasayad pero automatically dineny nya na wala lang daw yun. Pinagpark ko sya sa gilid at meron scratches and dents. Dito na ako nainis ng sobra sa lack of accountability nya huhu.. Sinabihan ko sya sana lang masama yung damage sa aayusin ng casa under my previous insurance claim sa right side bumper, otherwise I’ll let her know pag hindi.
Hindi ko na sya pinagdrive ulit pero sobrang TAGAL nya nirelease yung pera that it defeats the very purpose ng paghiram ko sa kanya. Alam nya na for repair ng sasakyan yung hihiramin ko and alam nya na hinahabol ko yung oras ng cutoff sa casa pero 4pm nya na binigay sakin yung pera after SEVERAL instances of SHOWING OFF sa mga kakilala nya.
Meron kaming agreement since emergency loan yung nature ng pagpapautang na kapag di ako nakapagbayad, magcocomment and magpopost sya sa Facebook account ko. I also explicitly told her that my husband knew nothing about this transaction and to keep it a secret kasi ayoko makaalam sya na nabangga ulit yung sasakyan tapos still inaccept ko yung pera pampagawa sa unang damages na tinamo nung sasakyan. (i know, medyo boppls ako)
2 days after the transaction, nagcocomment na sya ng reminders daw ng utang ko sa mga shared posts ko. That led to my husband knowing na pumunta ako sa city nya to loan money and nabangga ang sasakyan ulit. I also got nofitification a day before my due date sa loan ko sa kanya, from casa na dumating na yung ibang parts and when I went there to deposit the car, theyve given me separate quote for the left side bumper amounting to almost 35k and 3k lang pala yung participation fee for the 1st accident ko.
I told her na hindi karga ng insurance ko yung damages and will be going to take the service estimate sa kanya on the day of my due date (di ko po nagalaw yung pera).
Here is where I think PAANO AKO NAGING GAGO: On the day of my due date my husband told me to get a written agreement from her or at least a promissory note na willing sya ishoulder or ipaayos yung left side bumper sa casa since since casa maintained yung sasakyan and kakabili palang nung January 2024 before I pay my dues, so I went there and personally told her the same. I am willing to meet her halfway if diskumpyado sya sa figures na binigay ng casa, I can accompany her. Shes livid and dinala pa kuya nya. She demands her money back but I also need her to fix the car muna kasi 35k is not a joke.
For me, OK lang sana sakin if hindi alam ng asawa ko kasi I can just file another claim sa insurance but now he knows, hes telling me tataas daw premium namin next year which makes sense.
Here’s where I think hindi ako gago: she violated our agreement to keep it a secret first and she also did not honor our written agreement by continuously commenting and calling me out on social media just two days after nya niloan sakin ang pera.
Kaya nga ako nanghihiram kasi baka mag over sa budget yung perang nilaan ko for repairs tapos meron ulit repairs.
PS. She really insisted on driving. She's got a license too.

Or they’ll say they will meet up and never show. Posted a job on facebook for tv wall mounting and wire concealing and got some cheap quote from one of the electrician. He seems to be an experienced DIYer and holds some good reviews on facebook. One of my friend told me that creating a new electrical point through a DIYer can void insurance if it causes short circuit and fire takes place. Is that true? Is it like getting it done through a licensed electrician a paying atleast $200 bucks is the only option? This is in Ontario, Canada if that makes a difference.

My brick and mortar computer repair shop is located in a great location. A main road, across from other very active businesses. It's probably the most active spot in the entire town yet I still get this line above from most of my customers where they say "I didn't even know you were here."
Client acquisition has been incredibly slow, even with facebook ads, newspaper ads, posting the stuff in all the local facebook groups, etc.
I don't know how this quote is even possible at my location. I have a front door sign, I have a hanging sign above the side walk, i have posters in all the windows advertising my business and what we are, and we have been here for 4 years yet I still hear that exact same quote all the time.
What can I do to fix that? I am already advertising on Facebook & it cant be advertised on google because its a 3rd party tech support firm.

-I do not hate my SIL. I love her. She is a good person. This post is me getting off 15 years of feelings for the first time. My brother and family as far as I know do not share any of the feelings below. I have not expressed them to anyone but here. This is simply me getting something "OFF MY CHEST" This was my own therapeutic way of wrestling with my feelings. God forbid any of you have had breaking points from festering frustrations.
-My niece is currently receiving help. My brother has put his life on hold to move to a hotel next to the treatment center where he will drop her off and pick her up and be with her every day. He also continues to drive home several hours out of state to be back home to help care for his wife.
-My words below were not well thought out regarding my neice. I do not judge her. Everythign she is going through is very serious and we as a family are doing everything we can to help her. I used the word attention seeking simply to describe her personality. She is a bubbly, loud :), lovely girl. She seeks attention as much as any other kid, maybe a bit more extreme than the average.
-For everyone sharing their stories with EDS/POTS - I truly appreciate your comments and know that I have read what you've said and will take it to heart. I think it will make me a more undersadning person and help me wrestle with this. I am not convinced of ANYTHING below. I simply don't know how much, if anything, she is faking. It's simply how I feel, I don't feel good about it, and I have serious doubts.
-I put "diagnosed" in quotes because it took many years of searching for help before any doctor applied it to her. She self-diagnosed after years of not know what was going on, and then found some sort of specialist who deals with POTS and EDS who confirmed what she believed. Many have said "several doctors confirmed" which I don't believe is true. The skeptic in me, right or wrong, put less weight on this diagnosis because of how difficult it was to get. I undertand this is not a well understood syndrome so that would make sense.
-This is not the only case where she was "diagnosed" with something that did not turn out to be true. She was celiac for about 18 months before they realized that wasn't an issue. Now it's one thing to hypothesize that this could be an issue and try it, but her status as celiac took over her life and they operated as though it were a fact, including completely consuming her facebook activity. Eventually they determined through a genetic test that it wasn't an issue.
LONG ONE but this is 15 years in the making.
So my brother and his wife have been married for about 15 years. Ever since the beginning, I've always felt a little skeptical of her. She's a southern gal that likes to romanticize everything. Think a Facebook junky that loves posting inspiring messages that are totally over the top. "From the depths of my soul, I wish you all to find happiness in your life. I truly do. Never give up! #MiraclesAreReal #HeHasAPlan" Etc. That sort of shit.
She's a sweetheart though and doesn't have a malicious bone in her body, but she's the type of person who wishes she lived in a hallmark movie. And she LOVES attention.
Over the last 15 years, she's had one thing happen to her after another. About 10 years ago she also started "feeling chronic pain" and was more and more reclusive, opting to spend most of the time we visited them in bed. Now she wasn't ignoring us, because we always made it a point to come up and even would spend time in their room watching movies and just talking, but for the most part, she stayed in bed.
Eventually it was determined that she had something called POTS, and then later Ehlers Danlos. These were both pretty much self-diagnosed, and then "confirmed" by doctors. But since then both of these afflictions have completely taken over her life. She started using a wheelchair, her body has deteriorated, she basically has zero leg muscles, with a much larger upper body from eating terribly. She's had highly invasive procedures like spinal fusions, ports, and all sorts of other shit over the years.
Everything is a "miracle cure" on Facebook and she talks about how she's a girl boss. "Guys!! I DID SOMETHING TODAY! I walked down the stairs to get a drink without my caregiver!" is a typical post on Facebook. Of course next week when I ask my brother how she's doing, she's had setbacks and is feeling worse than she was before. It's always one step forward and three steps back.
What gets me is that these posts are OBVIOUSLY pity parties, but of course she would never ask people to cry for her and talk about how terrible things are. No. that's not what the protagonist does in a hallmark movie. They have stiff upper lips, they are courageous! They never complain and live life to the fullest, despite how terrible things are.
So she makes a post with her sitting in her wheelchair or wearing a neck brace, and will say things like "Guys, I just had the best day EVER. I sat up! Normally when I sit up I get lightheaded and pass out, but today, thanks to my 3 Physical therapists, i've been able to sit up! These are the little things people sometimes take for granted, but I just had to share :) #EDScantStopMe! #GurlBoss #NotToday".
So she gets a million likes and comments saying how "Proud they are" of her and how she's an inspiration. We're all supposed to be so thrilled and excited, but all it really is is a reminder that she's basically bedridden and should be pitied and lavished with attention. Thankfully, she hasn't tried to move into influencer status, and I honestly don't feel like she has financial incentives at heart. She simply craves the attention, the pity, and the "status" as being an inspiring role model for other people a and being the main character of her own hallmark movie.
And I fucking can't stand it. I think this is all bullshit. I'm sure she's in pain, but that's what happens when you're body deteriorates from not doing shit for 10 years. She tries to solve all her issues with pills and procedures, but doesn't do fuck all when it comes to actually working hard at rehabilitating her body.
I know EDS is a real thing, but I've also read how commonly it's faked. Certain types can be genetically tested for. Of course hers hasn't.
Throughout all of this shit, my brother has been a fucking saint. He's never complained. Luckily he owns a business that does well enough that nothing has led to financial issues, but it easily could have since nothing is covered by insurance. He's a very active and outgoing guy, so it kills me seeing him spend his entire young adult life basically being her caregiver.
In the past year however, he has reached a breaking point. He had a short-lived affair, realized life was slipping by, and immediately told her about it. She's forgiven him, and basically will say things like "you can win me back. Lets renew vows, get me another ring" (All the bullshit you would see in a movie of course). He knows deep down that he doesn't WANT to win her back, and has essentially been letting the relationship die over the past 9 months. He wants to take care of her financially, but wants out. He needs a life.
Well, this past weekend, she finally sends a text saying that they are done, and the separation is moving forward. Oh and what do you know? She has started making posts on Facebook about how she hasn't used her wheelchair in days! She can now walk a mile in a day when she couldn't walk 20 steps. Where the FUCK was this 4 years ago when you maybe could have rehabilitated and lived an actual life? Where the fuck was this when my brother was wasting away his life, not traveling, not creating memories for his girls, having memories that he had growing up as a kid going on hikes and going to the beach.
On top of all of this, they have two daughters. The older one is 12 and is having all sorts of other issues, including anorexia and self-harm. I love her, but I see this as a response to the bullshit that her mom has put her through her entire life. She has always been an attention seeking kid. She is also very sweet, but unfortunately I believe that all of these cries for help wouldn't be happening if her own mother wasn't the way she is. I know this last part makes me an asshole, and I honestly have no ill will towards the daughter. I think what she is doing to herself is very serious and I don't want to take it lightly. But she is also a very sheltered girl and it's hard not to believe that the mother isn't the root cause.
I'm so happy that my brother is finally going to be rid of this soon. Obviously he plans to take care of her financially in perpetuity, and isn't planning to have any toxic fights over money or custody. He will do what's right. The only thing now is that I'm terrified that one of her stupid "followers' is going to share what happened and he somehow becomes some viral villain that gets crucified by assholes who have no idea what the actual situation is.

Some of subscribers to this reddit might remember my sad story. (Originally my boyfriend was posting it to this subreddit, but now he's been banned from posting here by this sub's admins) Almost a month has passed since I (a Tanzanian national, 24 years old, girl) was denied boarding in Nairobi Airport to fly to Ecuador. I really want to rant how terrible the claim communication is with KLM, but I won't. Long story short, the claim was displayed as "closed" and after contacting their weird support in Facebook, they sent me in FB messenger a quote from the claim response (which I never saw on their website or in my email box and they won't ever send me): As per your communication I note that you and your co-passenger were not able to check-in on flight KL 566. Having checked our records, you were refused to board because you did not comply with Article 9 (Passenger referred back due to suspicion) of the General Conditions of Carriage. Therefore, you are not entitled to the compensation set by the EC Regulation 261/2004. Usama Butt. How I understand it, KLM profiled me by my gender and race and the fact that I don't have many stamps in my travel passport. They had a worry that - I dunno really - that I would run to Dutch police during my connection in Amsterdam to ask for refuge?? And having this suspicion they (quote) "referred the passenger back". They also mention a mysterious "co-passenger" which I didn't have. Never I or my boyfriend could expect that an airline can profile the passenger and just deny flying "due to suspicion" and cause the loss of ticket ($1350) and the collapse of travel plans (>$4000). Dear readers of this subreddit, before admin deletes my post, please share your opinions on how fair you think the actions of KLM and their decidion to not even compensate the ticket were. And, maybe, anyone has an idea for me on how to fight for my rights in this case? TBH I'm very furios about this airlines.

I'm planning to have a trench dug for a hot tub's electrical line. It will be about 30 feet long with 2 turns. I've had two contractors give me quotes - one for $200 and one for $800-1600 (depending on how much hand digging is required).
The more expensive contractor seemed to really know his stuff and gave me good advice on laying conduit, doing inspections, etc. Great reviews.
The $200 guy I found on Facebook marketplace, says he works digging trenches for a cable company and does this for side money. But I figure as long as he doesn't hit utilities it's hard to fuck this up.
I'm considering having the "cheap guy" dig as much as he can and then I'll hand dig the rest and let the electrician get to work. Any issues with this plan? I'm guessing most of the expensive contractor's cost is labor.

tl;dr: I am having a difficult time choosing a dedicated track bike... do I get a ninja 400 and upgrade the brakes, suspension, rearsets, and clipons for a few thousand or do I pick up an Aprilia RS 660 or ZX-6R and keep it stock for now?
This season I want to start riding on track and have begun my search for a bike that I can use as a dedicated track bike. I've completed California Superbike School levels 1-4, and currently ride a Ducati SFV4 on the street. My goal is to improve my skill and confidence on the track.
My original plan was to spend around $5k and get a used ninja 400. In my area, Denver, dealerships are selling used n400 with 3k miles for $7500+, and on Facebook marketplace all of the bikes either have high milage (15k+ and selling for $5,500) or have been beat to shit by squids with a few thousand miles and they are still asking $5k+. A dealership did quote me around $6,500 for a brand new ninja 500.
The used market is absolutely bananas! I then started thinking, if I'm going to spend a few thousand to upgrade the ninja, would I be better off buying something like an Aprilia RS 660, or a ZX-6R? I wouldn't need to make upgrades because their suspension, brakes, etc are good enough.
What advice or recommendations do you have?
More context below: I do not want to buy an already built, dedicated track bike. I would rather buy a stock bike, then upgrade things as I go so that I can learn and feel the difference.
There seems to be two schools of thought on a track bike that I have heard in person and read online:

1. Get a ninja 400 or an R3 because its better to ride a slow bike fast, than a fast bike slow, and it'll improve your skill because you can't rely on power to fix your mistakes. Plus they are cheap and have great support for aftermarket parts.
   
2. Get a 600cc bike or equivalent because n400 is too slow, everyone will pass you and you'll get bored and want to upgrade to a faster bike pretty quickly.
   

I also understand that I'll likely go down and need to repair the bike, so good support for aftermarket parts and a certified mechanic/dealership is important. I know it's more expensive to fix an Aprilia than a Kawasaki.
I have always wanted a Ducati 749 dedicated track bike, since I can find them for $5-6k, but I know this won't be the best bike to learn/improve my skill on. But damn do I want to say fuck it haha This can always be a second or third track bike.

Did a job for a client 10 years ago who is a painter. Roof/exterior needs restoration so I gave him a buzz using the number on his public Facebook business page. He came out a fortnight ago, had a look, quoted $9500 cash for the lot, I said sounds good.

• He texts asking for a 20% deposit, which I paid. ($1900)
• Maybe an hour later he asked if I can pay a little more, saying he is waiting for a woman's mortgage company to release funds to pay him. He said I didn't have to if I was uncomfortable. I pay a further $1000 (30% deposit)
• He texts yesterday saying his friend died over the weekend in a car crash and that's he's in another city currently comforting the family. I said ok, my condolences, why you telling me this? He said that he thought the job was to start Monday just came and I said no, it's Monday next week. He said sorry, mind all over the place, we are still on track, and asked if I could spare more deposit so he could help the grieving family who are waiting for the deceased's insurance to come through. Again, he said I didn't have to if I was uncomfortable, but I felt if I said no he could be resentful if he does do the job and do a shitty job in revenge. He suggested $500, I sent $300. He said thanks, and now the total is $3200 or the equivalent of a 33% deposit.

Looked him up with QBCC as bells started ringing. No current licence (previously held one), which I guess why he was keen to not give a paper trail, but it just adds to this uneasy feeling that perhaps there's red flags? He's also been done for unlicensed contracting before.
Now, you don't need a licence to paint your own house however legally a contractor must yet I have no doubt he'll do a good job (Facebook page is full of his work which looks superb, hasn't fled the city due to bad reputation and good reviews), but do I have right to be concerned? To be fair, the start date hasn't come and gone yet and if he doesn't it may be a pain to get the money back (small claims court, sure, but time consuming. Perhaps threat of QBCC report for: unlicensed contracting, excessive deposit, no contract, advertising where the fines themself would be far more than my $3200).
Am I being crazy or no cause for concern yet? If there is cause for concern, how should I approach this with him?

So I'm going to be visiting the Green Bank Telescope in West Virginia later this year and the hiking area around it (and the other telescopes on the grounds) do not allow any digital cameras or phones since it interferes with the telescope's readings. Only analog cameras are allowed.
I had gone last year without a camera and really regretted it because there is so much cool stuff in the area I would have loved to try taking photos off. I'm not a photographer in the slightest, but had always liked the idea of giving it a try and thought this might be a decent excuse to buy a camera.
I decided to get a used Nikon N60 + Nikkor 28-80mm f/3.3-5.6G lens together off Facebook Marketplace for $35. I know it's a pretty obsolete camera, but I'm a graduate student on a pretty tight budget. When I was looking through the viewfinder I noticed some dust spots and found out that it was on the camera's sensor. It looked like the repair place closest to me charged $50 for sensor cleanings and I really can't afford that, so I decided to try cleaning the sensor myself. I'm sure you see where this is going.
I bought a little $10 kit online with a little air blower and some dry swabs. And, somehow, the sensor wound up even worse than before. I also think I broke something in the lens connector when taking the lens off because now I'm getting a FEE error as well. (I've tried all the error fixes I can find online - set the aperture to F22, locked the aperture, shifted the aperture around a whole bunch, etc. - but nothing has worked.) And I definitely can't afford however much that fix would cost.
So, at this point, I'm kinda stuck. I honestly don't want to resell the camera - the nearest used camera shop is 40+ mins away and I their online quote thing says they're not buying either the body or the lens right now. And I feel slimy buying something used, breaking it, and then just turning around and selling it to someone else. I also do not have time to deal with trying to ship it anywhere or sell it online since I will be traveling a lot very soon. And, while the lens is fine, I can't afford to buy a new body to go with it.
I'm thinking of donating the camera and lens together to a local charity shop, but I'm worried a broken, obsolete camera wouldn't sell and it would be more trouble for them than it's worth. It also doesn't have a case so I'm worried it would get more broken in the process. Does anyone have any ideas of where a broken camera could do the most good at this point? I at least want something somewhat positive to come out of this absolute disaster I managed to make for myself. (And I'm not interested in selling/trading it with anyone on here, sorry - just looking for donation ideas.)

Everyone is acting out of self interest. The "good person benevolent sacrifice" thing is a myth. Sometimes they might do something that seems charitable, like give money to a homeless person, but really they're just making themselves feel good, happiness, and boosting their ego. I remember when I volunteered at a homeless shelter, there was a policy that formerly homeless people who received meals there were not allowed to volunteer there on the other side of the serving counter. Turns out the people who did the serving and volunteering on that side of the serving counter didn't like it when that happened. I remember another time a homeless guy asked me for money, and I felt bad for him, and then I sat at a counter, and then this gross smelly homeless guy sat right next to me at that same counter and ordered while I was trying to enjoy my food, and I was like "Uhh, waitress... I'd like you to get rid of this dude, please". But yeah, you don't actually care, what you actually care about is your feelings and how you feel. You're trying to make yourself feel happiness and an ego boost, and maybe cover your own ass in case you ever end up in that situation. And by "you" I mean "me". "If you repeat a lie often enough you are a Republican, but if you don't know you're lying yet, you're a Democrat." I created that quote, see previous posts.
This song "I am Africa" from The Book of Mormon musical comes to mind. Basically these rich White people are like "I am Africa" when really they just have a savior complex and are full of bullshit. Note that in real life, if you really know these savior complex people, they are actually total assholes and douchebags. I used to use Bento to keep track of quotes I like to post on Facebook. (It's my way of letting people know I'm still alive but not living life on Facebook.)
The fields I want are simple: Date Added, Date used, Quote, Author, and Source.
Excel can't do this well because the quote can be very long for a flat database. Source is usually an URL of the web page where I verified the quote.
Right now I have close to 2000 quotes. I hope to find a free or low-cost app to do this (Filemaker Pro is overkill.)

Kind of embarrassed to even put this out there, but I am genuinely confused about the process of therapy, diagnosis versus more formal, psychological, testing and evaluations, particularly related to developmental stuff like autism spectrum and ADHD, etc.
I understand that some of this might vary slightly according to where you practice and even from state to state. At the moment, I work at a small outpatient group practice and really only work with adults, so this issue doesn’t come up for me a lot in my work with clients, but I often encounter desperate parents in the community who are struggling to find resources for their kids. Recently someone posted in our local mom‘s Facebook group needing an ADHD assessment for their child, in order to get an official diagnosis and related resources. They were being quoted like 1200 - 1800 dollars to get this testing done, their insurance was out of network most places, and this was the out-of-pocket cost that they were quoted, not to mention wait times.
I guess I’m confused as to what is the difference between someone coming to outpatient therapy, and me giving a diagnosis of ADHD for our treatment together , versus getting formalized testing done for a “medical diagnosis “
There’s also so much I don’t understand about how this thing works out in the school setting and getting kids IEP needs met. I guess my understanding is that Masters level Clinicians have the ability to diagnose as it relates to what we’re working on in therapy? But our diagnosis doesn’t mean anything when it comes to kids services in school?
Is the diagnosis that we (Masters level clinician, LPC in Pennsylvania, ) come up with in treatment not real? ?
Not even really sure what kind of responses I’m looking for here just like genuinely confused and would like to understand this better because I feel like at this point in my career I should know more about how that works.

Update: Between this post and the negative review campaign my family undertook against Forever Fence, they came and fixed the issue at my grandparent's. My grandparents are satisfied with the work.

Making a post to publicly shame Living Skies Construction, who it appears is now operating as Forever Fence Supply Inc (same phone number for both companies).
In August of 2023 my elderly grandparents hired Living Skies to install a fence at their White City home. Living Skies was paid in full, but a portion of the fence was installed incorrectly which is causing issues. They have so far refused to come and correct the issue. My grandparents finally got frustrated and reached out to a different contractor for a quote to fix it.
Multiple family members with different last names have attempted to contact Living Skies/Forever Fence, but the moment we mention my grandparent's address they hang up the phone. They are also having negative Facebook reviews from family members deleted.
If you need something, hire a different contractor. Save yourself a headache and the additional cost of hiring someone else to fix their mistake.
